Amazing Baker. The range is wide , some unique bakes like the Andhra Khara bun, pizza muffin , kulcha bun and a few more. We also loved the pastries , the freshness was evident. The taste was fantastic, these guys know their business. The staff very friendly and our gratitude for their service. We also got a dilpasand home , the packaging was good and so was the taste. Branch of "Cake wala" in Jayanagar 9th block. Everything good about this place.... Prices are moderate. Tried Pineapple pastry, Brownie, Chocolate fantasy (pastry), Babycorn puff and Veg burger. Pineapple pastry was the best of all. Biscuits, Pastries are very good. Must visit.

Family Loves their fruit bread and eggless muffins . Good staff and prices are economical.

Best bakery must try red velvet cake their special cake. Cleanliness and hygiene is maintained. On Saturdays you will get buy 2 get 1 cookies. They will take customised cake orders.

It's not the main one but it is in a busy road. The products are all fresh and they have ensured that they take adequate screening during this time. Small place but clean. Maybe if they can regulate the number of customers at a given point in time then it would lead to a better customer experience.

Small place, but huge variety of cakes. Tried the rainbow cake.. It had just the right amount of sweetness. Price is slightly on the higher side, but the quantity and taste is pretty good. You can eat there, or take a parcel. Service is prompt.

Cakewala has a good collection of cakes and desserts. The pastries are quite tasty. It's a good place to go for party shoppers. You get full cakes and cut pieces, and other sweet treats like Chocolate Mousse and Pies. The black forest cake was pretty good, but the Chocolova Cake was terrible.

Quality and taste of the products are really good, they follow covid protocols and the store is well maintained but only problem is there is no hand wash facility!

A bakery for mostly everything they bake is superb. They have such amazing cakes and pastries. With that they always do something new new with there pastries which is pretty good. Its is also pocket friendly. They maintain there palce so clean and hygiene you will find yourself ending there again and again. Ambience- they play classic instrumental music which will calm you so much that its win win to be so relaxed and enjoy eating amazing pastries.

Cakewala is located at jp nagar . It's a very beautiful place serves some of the best pastries cakes in town. I really like their chocolate truffle cake. We usually order from this place. Apart from serving all these amazing sweets they have their own inhouse baked bread which is really good.love this place.

This store is full of cheat staff. I paid for four pastries, they packed a sealed box, mentioning four pastries, but when I opened it at home there were only 3.<br/><br/>If this is what they do at sale counter, imagine how they'll be cheating with the raw materials going into their products.<br/><br/>Can't trust them anymore.

Ordered Black Forest 1 kg cake today through Swiggy. It was not fresh at all , last week I got the same from Jayanagar and it was awesome, so beware if you are ordering through swiggy they might give you a cake which is already expired. Cake was so hard and it was not tasting like pastry at all, I will never go there again, Very disappointing

These are now becoming my all time favorite cakes and pastries. I like the most is, when we visit to their outlet they used to play soothing intrumental musics, relaxing. Coming to the price the pastries and cakes are pocket friendly considering there taste and not too much sweet nor gooey just tempting. I had mocha and chocolate fantasy pastry those were just wow!!! Absolutely LOVE the baked blueberry cheesecake here. It's very reasonable as well. Whatever time you visit this place, you'll get freshly baked ones. The chocolate pastries and pineapple pastries are great as well.<br/>I just wish they had baked cheesecake in their online order menu.

Before talking about the cake let me talk about the packing.. have ordered a choco truffle cake and it came packed in an amazing box.. fell in love with the cake before even opening it. This is a beautiful beautiful beautiful bakery. The cakes, pastries, tarts everything is good here. Do try the rainbow pastry. It looks beautiful and tastes even better. It is not too sweet you would want to eat more than just one. The quality of the pastries is good and it's comparatively cheaper. Tried the pizza tarts, they were good too. You could stand and eat while keeping the plates on a table or sit at the corners. Rainbow pastry is a must try.

So this is the cake I got delivered through zomato. The delivery executive insists this was from the bakery, itself. I know it wasn't. Zomato is unresponsive in this issue. I suggest you partner carefully!!!

A small shop with great affordable dessert to curb your sweet tooth. They have variety of icecreams and dessert options . We tried death by chocolate and it was loaded with soft brownie and icecream and chocolate syrup. Mind you portion size is big , so all good for dessert lovers

I had ordered a chocolate cake for my son's birthday. I had selected a picture for the cake. When I saw the cake he picture was only half the cake. They had done some funny design on the rest of the cake. When I had ordered the cake, I was not informed that that is how the cake would be designed. The cake looked quite cheap and totally not worth the money they charged me. (Rs.3062 for a simple 4 kg chocolate cake).To top it the person who wrote "happy birthday " totally messed it up and when i expressed my unhappiness, the manager corrected it. There was no reaction or response from the manager when I gave this feedback to her. I cannot however comment on the taste of the cake since it was for my son's school for his birthday celebrations. Totally disappointed with cakewala this time.

Used to be our go to place whenever we wanted cake for a friends birthday. They always have multiple fresh options in different sizes for the cakes.<br/>Apart from cakes they have pastries and lava cakes and many other goods such as puffs and sandwiches. <br/>I especially love their choco lava cake. It is literally heaven !

My favourite place during my college days . I’ve been there a couple of times and there is a good decent crowd almost every part of everyday. So there is no problem if old stalk. There are many varieties of cakes and pastries . They also have varied range of savouries . All are yummy . My favourite of all- rich chocolate pastry . Chocolate lovers to die for! I hope they continue keeping up their quality. Can’t wait to visit again.

Arrogant staff. For a specific design which would have been available for 1/2 to 1 kg, they said it would not be possible to get the design nicely in 1/2 kg, minimum quantity should be 5kg.<br/>Due to urgency, had no option but to agree for 3.5 kgs. It was agreed only for the sake of getting the desired design.<br/><br/>But they just ruined the cake. Flavour also they probably added whichever came to their mind in the moment.<br/>Horrible cake flavour wise, designwise both.<br/><br/>They do not even have minimum courtesy or value to customer requirement.

Bought cake for my daughter's 1st Birthday. Taste was simply awesome. Quantity and Quality at par with price. Walk in anytime, they can arrange the cake you want in less than half an hour or so if not available at display. Staff behavior is also good enough. Would like to order again soon

Kulcha, Choco Lava cake and 2 scrumptious chocolate pastries whose names I can't recall now.<br/>The only thing that we liked less was their Chef's special roll. It could definitely do with some more filling.<br/>Now even though the bakery doesn't have a designated seating area and we visited it during the evening time, we still found some space to sit and eat inside. Their prompt service further ensured that there was no unwarranted rush.<br/>Overall, a delicious experience that sat feather-light on our pocket. Definitely going again.

My neighbour suggested me that Cakewala is the best in our surrounding area for cakes. So I decided to visit them for my daughter's birthday.<br/><br/>My wife and myself tasted the regular size of seasonal Alphonso Almond and the Irish coffee pastries. Irish coffee was not so great but ok. But the Alphonso Almond was damn delicious.<br/><br/>So we decided to order 2.5kg Alphonso Almond and the regular favourite Choco truffle of 1kg.<br/><br/>While the choco truffle was asusual tasty, the Alphonso Almond was way beyond my expectations. The cake was very much fresh, juicy, mango paste was soft n juicy, chopped almonds were stuffed here and there. We and our guests enjoyed the cake completely. It was even with the same freshness for two days as we stored it in our fridge.<br/><br/>Overall, the Cakewala is a thoroughly professional place for cakes / pastries in terms of taste, order management, on time delivery, packaging, varieties etc., Room for improvement is that their staff could interact a bit with customers and smile. There were only answers for our questions, no interaction, no smile. Anyway, I will come again and again there to taste their other varieties of cakes / pastries.

There used to be bakery called Mayura Bakery before this started here . Pastries have improved and are excellent now . But the puff , bun and other snacks are bad now . We're much much better before . But I am rating them high for their cleanliness and pastries .

Delicious stuff. I entered this take away store with not much expectations but I was surprised at both the price and the taste. We went with the intention of having a quick bite and ended up packing Choco lava cake and muffins for home. Very helpful staff and ambience. I think they should add a couple of chairs and make this a hangout place. "Incomparably, beyond heavenly delicious" is how I'd like to describe the pastries we get here! I have the biggest sweet tooth in my family and since cakewala came in town for the first time which happened to be right beside my college back then, I went crazy! They have so many variety of cakes and with each weak they come up with something new! And having all this so close to my home now is like an everyday dinner feast for me! Not just their pastries but their cookies (not to mention the awesome steal-deal they hold every Saturday where you buy any two box of cookies get the third free 😍) and their amazingly talented pâtissier giving us such lip smacking savoury delicacies, what more reason do you need to want to go take a look here?<br/>My favs from here: Choco Fantasy, Red velvet, cake-pop, butter sweet cookies, cashew cookies! Went to this place right after my internship. It's located in the main road right opposite Stories. The ambiance of this place is good. The place is pretty small, but that doesn't decide the quality of the items there! <br/><br/>The food here is great! I took 2 chocolate tarts which was basically a tart which contained chocolates. The chocolate was just perfect and gave a nice taste. The veg puff is also great! It's nothing different when compared to the other bakeries. But the best part of the food was the rainbow cake! It was so colorful and it's my next favorite after chocolate cakes :D<br/><br/>There's no parking of it's own. The area is pretty crowded and busy. But, the cakes here are totally worth a try. Also, there's no exact seating, except for two benches. But that'll do for  a small time hang out.

I have crossed cakewala some zillion times, be it in jayanagar or jp nagar. Today, the urge to have some sweet when i was crossing this place took over. It reminded me of my childhood day. Lost in the rush of the new fancy dessert places, you come across places which makes you go in past. They not only had the old typical flavours but also new trendy flavours and at a very affordable price. <br/>I tried:<br/>- Black Forest Pastry : Fluffy, soft and moist! Just the way it used to be during childhood days, completely loved it. <br/>- Chocolate Chiffon : a new flavour with less cream and more chocolate with topping of crisp caramel and nut. Perfectly baked puffs and cakes!<br/><br/>You can try everything here and everything tastes good. There is not even a single thing here that I did not like. The rates are pretty reasonable too as compared to what they serve. Other is no oil in the puffs and they have variety like Gobi Manchurian puff, dahi alloo bhall puff , rainbow pastry and many more.

Cakewala, one stop destination to all your sweet cravings. The outlet is located in JP nagar and the ambiance is simple and neat. They don't have exclusive seating area as such. The brightly lit cakes and pastry display catches your eyes. The service is fast too. The pricing is cheaper compared to competitors. The cakes , pastries and other savouries are all fresh but these days I see the portion quantity has gone down. I tried their non chocolate variants pineapple,butterscotch, mixed fruit and everything was so fresh and soft. Definitely a budget place and worth the visit

Everybody knows this place for it's pastries but the place also serves other food items that is worth a try. Baked Nipattu is one such item. Very spicy👌. And the best part is, it is baked! But strictly for the ones who prefer spicy savoury food 😀. Alu buns and Italian buns (not sure of the name though, it is that bun with onions all over it) are fresh and soft. However, considering the fact that Cakewala is from the renowned Mayura Group, I think it can be made tastier by adding a few of their signature flavours! Alu puff can be tried atleast once. It has masala dosa's alu subzi as its filling! Nothing over-whelming about the taste but it's still a personal fav! Channa Roll has the covering of a puff and the filling is made of kabuli channa. A hit among many people! Veg puff is also fresh, crispy & flaky, just the way people like it! Though the prices of these items are quite pocket-friendly, I have also seen their size reduce! I personally don't prefer their pasteries/cakes unlike many others. They are definitely soft and fresh but i find the flavours too strong and over-powering!<br/> On a couple of occasions, i have seen people getting into an argument with the staff and the staff not being accommodating at all! Maybe not quite a place where 'the customer is the king' but definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely arrogant staff. Almost like they are doing you a favour. Bought a couple of lava cakes which started leaking even before we left the store. No one thought it was worth their time to tell us that it can leak so badly. It was like they packed a beverage in a cardboard box. When I asked for a refund, the manager said it was not possible and I could pick up something else. And when i did pick up 2 pastries of the same value, the manager threw a fit like I can pick only 1 and not 2. Absolutely insulting and demeaning.

The choco lava cake over here is out of the world. For a mere 50 bucks, this lava cake trumps everything else. It puts dominos' choco lava cake to shame. A must try. Make sure to warm it up a bit before digging in and be sure to get lost in the chocolaty whirlwind after. Enjoy. Cheers!

Cakewala has nice dreamy gooey chocolate cakes and that's precisely the reason I visit this place often. I like their chocolate truffle and black Forest. They have other exciting flavours too.Their honey and fig is nice(but very sweet),Irish coffee is what I like eating sometimes. This place has nice puffs and cookies (which are over priced).You should definitely visit this place for their chocolate truffle which melts in your mouth.

Cakewala was a rather promising place during its inception, but quality has certainly dwindled dramatically over time. The cakes don't taste rich and don't have that smooth, creamy texture anymore. The other savoury items have gotten regrettably smaller. What it is now is perhaps your quintessential local bakery with deplorable fare sold under a brand name.

I had an average experience at cakewala. Reasonably priced. I didnt like the pineapple pastry which one of my friends had. I got myself a veg plait(thats what was written there) and my friend got a stuffed garlic bun..n both were ok.

worth visit if you love bakery food. They are serving a the best veg puffs, that to varieties of puffs<br/>Suggestion:  have some good sales guys' with local language proficiency. Some time if we ordered something they will give something.<br/>Biscuit mela is unique here.

Cakewala is a really good cake and pastry place with some good quality stuff. It is not one of those fancy patisseries selling exclusive flavors or desserts. Most of what they sell is regular cakes and pastries that taste really good. <br/><br/>One of the best things about them is the quality. All their stuff is really fresh. The pastries and cakes are very soft and creamy. <br/><br/>I have tried the Butterscotch, Chocolate Truffle and the Irish Coffee and none of them disappointed me. They had that authentic flavor and taste and we could feel that it was freshly prepared. It was not too overwhelming either. <br/><br/>I also love their  Chilli Cheese Sticks because its the first time I tried biscuits with that flavor and it was amazing. They also have other bakery products available like puffs, samosa, mini pizza and stuff. The veg puff tasted good too. It was crispy with abundant filling and less oil. <br/><br/>If you want exotic flavors and delicacies, this is not the place to go. But it is the perfect place for some good quality pastries and cakes.

Thank you cakewala for making my son’s birthday very<br/>memorable. We came some time back and ordered a 1 kg chocolate truffle cake<br/>(eggless) with a picture of Doreman character on top. Our son was delighted!<br/>The cake itself was very tasty and not too heavy. I am giving a 3.5 rating here<br/>because they forgot to put the rice paper (doreman picture) when we got there.  There was miscommunication with the reception<br/>and the bakery section. We had to wait longer after reminding them about this.  If you place an order in advance, ensure you<br/>call them for repeated reminders. <br/><br/>This joint is also famous for their savory south indian snack<br/>items, puffs, mousse, cookies and rolls. It is maintained very well too.  A must check out.

The store at JP Nagar doesn't accept orders over phone. Who on earth would like to spend 30 mins waiting in queue to place an order with a store like yours. I have travelled from Pune and wanted to place an order. Disappointed with the way I was treated.

Yummiest cakes in the whole of Bengaluru. Lots of variety to choose from. My fav are Irish pastry n choco vanilla. Fresh creme pineapple just melts in ur mouth. Location wise perfect but want them to expand. They don't really dig ur wallet for the quality you get. Must try.

This place is well known for their cookies, cakes ,puff and pasteries. M impressed with the hygiene they maintain at their outlets. cookies and puff are my favourite here. Not sure if buy1-get 1 cookie offer is still der but few months back  I used to visit the place on saturday to buy the cookies here.

This is one of your neighbourhood cake shop which is bang on value for money and does serve some real good variety as well.<br/><br/>I am in love with their banana walnut cake which is just like your mother make though my mother never did :P<br/><br/>They do have some good snacks on menu as well which turn out to be pretty decent.<br/><br/>Prices are very competitive and indeed are value for money.<br/><br/>When you are craving for a quick evening snack this is the place to be.

Visit this place often but not too frequently. Any birthdays in our friend circle, we buy pastries here. They are so tasty that the pastries are completely eaten by us and not thrown on the face and wasted as it usually happens at birthday parties. The cookies are also amazing.
