Review Hi Seoul - Bengaluru

Good for those who like Korean food!! One dish is almost sufficient for two people. The restaurant is on the first floor. Neat and clean. Good ambience!! Polite staff. Good service... Handwash and restroom available... sufficient place to sit and dine... 50+ people can be accommodated... great variety of items.. also there's a covered balcony to dine in where you get a good street view ... no much waiting... overall satisfactory.

I recently dined at a Korean restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. The fried chicken and pancakes were absolutely delightful, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It's worth noting that if you're not a fan of spicy food, this place won't disappoint you. If you're searching for an authentic Korean dining experience, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The ambiance and service effortlessly transport you to the vibrant culture of Seoul, while the menu showcases an array of traditional Korean dishes. You won't be disappointed with the incredible food and impeccable service this place offers.

Very small homely restaurant. Some good Korean food and very behaved staff. The staff help you select food and make sure you don't over order. They have a bunch of freebie side dishes which fills up the table. I liked sushi the first time here only. Not a fancy restaurant so it might be a little difficult to identify from outside. Parking can be a bit challenge and also there are hardly 10-15 tables which is occupied if you go on a weekend.

This is absolutely the best Korean restaurant in Bangalore City. Me and my friend went on a Wednesday evening and we ordered a beef bulgogi gimbap which was really really good and juicy. We also got a octopus deopbap which was spicy stirred fried octopus served with steaming hot rice. Personally for me it was spicy but my friend really enjoyed it. I think you can ask them to decrease the spice level. And we also had beed japchae which was so delicious. I honestly would definitely come back to have japchae again. The serving size is really big so make sure you come in hungry and the sides are also really delicious and you can have second helpings.

A Hidden Gem for Korean Cuisine! Rating: (4/5) Review: Hi Seoul restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for an exceptional dining experience. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left with satisfied taste buds and happy bellies. Additionally, the pricing was reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food and service. The restaurant's hygiene standards were top-notch, and we felt comfortable dining in. The decor incorporated elements of Korean culture, creating an immersive experience.

My first exposure towards korean food, even though i was clueless about the dishes i thoroughly enjoyed it. From the Kimbap to the hotpot. It was a very different experience for me. Definitely recommend Korean cuisine even though it on the expensive side. Food : 8/10 Ambience: 6/10 Pricing : 5/10 Overall : 7/10

Hi Seoul Korean Restaurant is a hidden gem that any Korean cuisine enthusiast must visit. The Jeyuk Gimbap was tightly wrapped and sliced into bite-sized pieces and Dolsot Bibimbap was served in a sizzling hot stone pot, the dish arrived with a delightful aroma. The assortment of colourful vegetables, perfectly cooked meat chicken and a beautifully fried egg on top, made the dish visually appealing. Although the Ramyun was a bit let down as the topping was missing and the noodles were a tad overcooked. Nevertheless, the flavorful broth compensated for these shortcomings and offered a comforting experience. Overall Hi Seoul left me with a newfound appreciation for Korean flavours. The restaurant is located on the first floor and can be easily missed. Finding a car parking spot close to the restaurant can be challenging during weekends and rush hours.

The food was very amazing i ordered Chicken raymen which was 3.5/5 Electric boba tea which was 5/5 And some fried rice which had very new taste and we totally loved it🤩 Although the service was little off the restaurant is clean and cozy good for a date 🫠 Must visit!!😇

Visited Hi Seoul after reading all the reviews on google. We drove down all the way from Sharjapur Road to Kalyan Nagar just so that we could eat some authentic Korean food. We ordered the following : ✔️ Dolsot Bibimbap Beef ✔️Jeyuk Bokkeum Pork (this comes with a bowl of rice) ✔️ Deep fried chicken lollipop ✔️ Ramyun ✔️ Sour twist (lemon iced tea with green apple, bobas & Nata de coco) They served complimentary banchan or sides and it was so good 😍. Every item in the banchan was devoured in no time. The rest of the food was also super yumm. I was planning on ordering Samgyeopsal but was worried about the quality of pork they would serve. But I did order Pork Jeyuk Bokkeum and it was super duper delicious & the quality of pork was fantastic (So I am definitely ordering samgyeopsal next time). I would definitely recommend this place to all the Korean food lovers. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating space. Parking is easily available on the road just opposite to the restaurant. The restaurant doesn’t have a dedicated parking though. Prices are also very reasonable (compared to other Korean restaurants I have been to). Service is good and the owner is really friendly.

Dim ambiance personally I think they can change to warm lights or something brighter and a soft music in the background would be nice, but otherwise service 5/5, Quality 3/5, Quantity 5/5, Price 3/5 I think it was rated a little too much for a decent Korean dish. Side dish was delicious 5/5, I was really not happy with the kimchi fried rice (it had lot of sweet corns) kimchi fried rice tasted so much like a beef fried rice (if kimchi wasn't in it, definitely beef fried rice 🥲)

Visited here with my friends for First time.. we really loved the food here ..Korean beef bbq was delicious and the lettuce was home grown and so fresh as you can see. They give different varieties of starters and it was delicious. The sticky rice was tasty when compared to other Korean restaurants. We really loved it.

One of the lower priced Korean restaurants in the area. The dishes are quite alright, but caution is advised on ordering too many right off the bat, as they tend to be a bit on the heavier side, the oil and fried items especially. The place is an apartment converted to serve as a restaurant, so don't expect anything too fancy. It's cosy. The taste can be improved to make it truly korean but at this price range, it's pretty much balanced on that thin line of confused Korean taste with hints of Chinese and Japanese thrown in for good measure. The service is fast and on point. 3.5/5.

Amazing food. Authentic Korean food. Good quantity. Must try kimbap and bibimpap and ramen. Loved it.

Food was okay, there was quite a large selection of complimentary dishes and even a bottle of water. Quantity of food was good but taste was average. Bibimbap was just passable for a Korean restaurant we expected a better quality. Ambience is okay, just another regular restaurant vibe. It did not start off well but later service was quick and efficient. The person at the counter seemed least customer friendly. He wasn’t welcoming at all. He didn’t bother to explain why outside seating was closed (later when a large group wanted to sit out, they were told there was a lot of mosquitoes). If the owner was present, I’m sure experience and food quality would be much better.

We found ourselves here four lunch on a Saturday. Place was ease to spot, no dedicated parking but one of the lanes opposite to this restaurant can be used for this purpose. Ambience is that of a house, not much to say but hey we were here for good food☺️ Our order included a chicken Gimbap and a chicken bibimbap. Gimbap portions was generous..Phew! but the rice was dry. So want the best Gimbap i have had. Bibimbap however was excellent!! The complementary assortments need a special mention as they were well done. Except for the vegitable omlett? It was way too oily Overall we were happy with the lunch. we will be visiting them again.

The restaurant is very amazing. The food was very tasty and had the best authentic korean food. They quantity was soo much and i was super happy with the side dishes as well.

2018| I usually don’t like sweetness in my meat, but their chicken lollipop was an absolute delight. The staff is courteous and the ambience is homey.

Non polite, arrogant staff, bad bad food , left everything, plus got billed. Had to argue to get dishes off the bill which was not eaten. Finally the billing person arrogantly without any apologies told us not to pay the bill...
XoReNe
The person who served us was very pleasant and made us feel at home.. service was quick. Bibimbap and Kimchi Chigae tasted authentic.. Nice cosy place. Not noisy..
Abhinav Prakash
Nice little Korean place. Polite staff and what seems to be authentic cuisine (I am no expert).
A little pricey.

This is my 2nd time trying Korean cousins, however first time the experience 2as bad but this time their authentic dish and flavours have made me fall in love with Korean dish. Thank you✌🏻❤️

Very cozy place. Don’t miss their complimentary starter.
I generally place online orders to this shop, however, they don't adhere to the instruction provided and when called and asked, the staff who takes the call, is extremely sarcastic (in a very negative manner), prejudiced, and skeptical, creating a very negative customer-experience. I personally loved the food of this restaurant, however, the guys won't even cater the requests made and instead will get defensive, stating non-sense.

Hi Seoul, you guys despite being a good Korean restaurant, due to your staff's behavior, you are no more in my good list. Food-wise, you guys are doing okay, however, as per my knowledge, you guys are there to cater the customers and not yourselves. Please train your staffs to be more polite and friendly, instead of being prejudiced and sarcastic. Absolutely disappointed.

I went here yesterday for dinner with a friend and this is now one of my favourite places for food. We ordered Gimbap and Kimchi bokkumbap as we were only two people there and we got complementary pancake 😋. The food really tasty and especially the sides are to die for😍. Everything we ordered was veg.
The staff is courteous and helpful though the service is bit slow. The ambience is not that great, it's kind of home converted into restaurant but it's decent. Some music will help create some ambience.
I recommend this 10/10 for good Korean food.
Veenapriya Veeramani
The service was very friendly 😊. Food was delicious. All the dishes we ordered were really gud and brought the clear essence of Korean delicacies. Fried chicken and osum bulgogi is a must try.
I had been there with my family in June for dinner and we had a very good experience. The food was good , the ambience homely and cosy and the staff were very polite , friendly and ready to explain things whenever we asked them. I would recommend it to people who like to try new Asian cuisines and want to be adventurous with their taste buds. I had reserved a table and we have to be in time (or else they will politely turn us away). I would go there again for sure.
Tetei Azyu
This is one my favourite Korean restaurant. They have one of the best Gimbap I've ever had. Service was really quick considering how busy and packed the place was at the time. The staffs are really nice and welcoming which makes our dining experience even better. The restaurant set up and decor is not the most impressive, however, they'll do you justice when it comes to the food department.
Aditya Singh
The chicken deopbap was the best i had here. The crackling sound it gives when brought at the table adds to the excitement before eating. Mix it well and you have a tummy full of yummy meal in front of you. Do give it a try

Bibimbap is the food which I ordered here . It was good at taste and with side dishes provided . Coming to the ambience , it was OK since I never felt restaurant ambience it was like home turned hotel . Price was bit high since bibimbap is not an exotic dish , it was simply rice bowl mixed with all veggies which contains chicken + zucchini+ Raddish +carrot + rice and some sprouts along with mixed spiced sauce . Overall restaurant is filled with different and new experience dishes . I never felt my stomach bloated after the lunch , overall it is good experience . PRICE should be reduced a bit

This is the 4th time we have been here. It speaks for itself. The menu is quite confusing if you aren't familar with Korean food. The staff is very friendly and shall guide you according to your taste. The one thing is surprising is before the meal they serve you titbits of marinated veges with a vegetable pancake! So please order accordingly. Boulgogi beef was yummy, surprising even the chicken lollipop had a distinct flavour.

The Ramyun was out of this world... And so was the dimsum soup and the fried wings... Also loved the complimentary Korean pancake... All in all, it was a treat to the palate and I would love to keep going there when I’m in Bangalore! Would recommend everyone to try this place out... the hospitality of the staff was commendable as well!
Neha Vijan Bakshi
Great place with must try food. Will keep revisiting. Wish they served chicken broth as well for the soupy noodle dishes. Overall awesome food.

VERY NICE PLACE AND GOOD SERVICE. FOOD CAME ON TIME NOT MUCH WAITING TIME. SIZZLING STONE POT BIMBIMBAP BEEF WE ORDERED AND JEYUK BOKKEUM PORK WITH SO MANY COMPLIMENTARY SIDES. WE WOULD LIKE TO VISIT AGAIN.
Poonam Reshma Dsouza
The food was very good. The service was excellent. Food was served on time. I liked all of them. Amazingly the food lives upto its name and ratings. I loved the Kimchi Jiggae and the Pork BBQ. The quantity was also on par with the price. I suggest Korean fans to definitely try out this place.
Sukriti
Authentic Korean restaurant. Tried the ramyun, kimbap and bimbimbap. Too good. The quantity is totally worth it for the price. Loved their service. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is craving for Korean food.

Hi Seoul is amazing. Iev been here twice and both times I was really satisfied. The food is yummy and the servings are huge. It is also budget friendly. Will visit again. Loved it.

At the beginning they will serve you starter which is very delicious. I tried beef gimbap which was delicious and the quantity was amazing as you can see in the pic. Then I tried hot pot which is just wow and up to the mark. This is first restaurant in which I was actually full. Very budget friendly. At the end they serve you watermelon 😋. Below the total cost was just 1155 only.
Sabrina Dominique Lobo
Love love love this place! Their chicken gimbap is awesome, tastes slightly fishy in most other Korean places but it’s so damn good here. Portions are also large and satisfying . I think the best part is the cleanliness! I’d give them a 5star for the hygiene. Only con is that they’re only open till 9:30 pm.

"I have made order in this restaurant but restaurant person saying that he will not give the order as order through the promo code and he said he want full amount from delivery boy this the worst experience with the restaurant.
Meredith M
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the North of the city. First off, the staff is really friendly and attentive. The small plates that are brought before the meal are such a nice way to get your appetite going. And a really great way to start conversation. The mains are great. I am vegan and always enjoy the veggie bibimbap. Love the crispy rice and tons of veggies. My kids and hubby all go for the spicy non veg stir fry with seafood or meat. They usually get the same one each time because it is that good. The gimbap is also a nice starter to have for veggies or non veg alike. Finally, I just love that the meal finishes with fresh watermelon. It is so light but just right to quench the sweet tooth.
Minal D'Almeida
I once had beef noodles from here and the dish was not all that great. It was too oily and very expensive. Overall a bad experience. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Hi Seoul!!!!! 🎎🎎✨
I have been here as this place was suggested by my husband and I also got to know that its one of the best Korean eateries in and around Bangalore with its reviews and ratings! 💁💁
For appetizers, myself and husband ordered for deep fried chicken lollipop🍗(it had a really sweet taste and was sensational) for Rs.350 and steamed dumplings🥟🥟(chicken). The momos tasted good and similar to the ones they sell on the road side and had more quantity like around ten pieces for Rs. 180. Along with that there were starters like spinach🥗, steamed groundnuts mixed in jaggery sauce 🍛🍛wherein the idea was phenomenal, then chilli sauce and other stuff as well.
Main course was Ramyun🍝🍝🍝which is a spicy Korean noodle soup for Rs. 250 and it did taste delicious as well. Another dish was Ttukbaegi Bulgogi🍜🍜(HotPot). It was soy sauce marinated beef with veg and glass noodles for Rs.400. It tasted fresh and good! The glass noodles was one unique thing about that dish. It just slipped in easily while eating. After all that had sprite for proper digestion. We still had remains of the food which was asked to pack to take away.
My suggestion for improvisation is as follows:
*Fork🍴can be provided as well for cutlery as many of them have no clue of how to use a chop stick while eating noodles and all.
*It took sometime for the waiter to come attend to us. So the service can be prompt.
*Ambience🌌🕋 can be worked on as it doesn't have the look of a posh restaurant. Even some light music🎶🎶🎵 can be played to make it exotic.

Otherwise had a hearty meal here! I rate it only 4 as I have mentioned the negative aspects above. Kindly work on it for it to be an outstanding one!!🙂🙂

One of the inspirations from this restaurant tried out by me. Groundnuts with jaggery sauce☺😊
In one of the pics below!!

The go to Korean place for the Hangul taste for reasonable prices.
It is not AUTHENTIC to the core but definitely a good place to start exploring Korean food.

Small cozy setting. We ordered the kimbap which came with a host of things accompanying the sushi rolls. The taste was authentic, so much that we licked the bowls off. Definitely worth the visit.
Hyderabad seriously lacks this cuisine. Was too full to try anything else.

Amazing place for Korean lovers..
Staff friendly..i personally loved this place..
Food:- thy serve u too many side dishes vry yum! I especially loved Gimbap😋 thy r d best to go wit main course..

Came to this restaurant with my friends and tried kimbap and octopus. Can't get enough of the food here, especially kimbap with beef. Haven't stopped ordering since then. Close your eyes and feel Korea.
Nice homely cosy place with yummy food...not only the food we ordered, we also liked the spinach that was given as accompanyment...what made this outlet deserve this rating is their courteous behaviour...we enjoyed our time thoroughly having food in Korean style sitting on the ground...thank you
Rexonthomas78
The best part of the resto was the hospitality. Really took care of their customers. Coming to the food served, we ordered the gimbap, hotpot and barbecued beef. We also had complimentary pancakes, kimchi and a few other sides. The gimbap was a little to sweet for our taste buds. The rest was absolutely delicious. Thank you for a very sumptuous meal.
Foo Ming Li
didn't tatse like bibimbap at all, the meat was very dry and there was hardly any beef in it. the eggs were overcooked and it's way overpriced for what was served.
Visited here here on Friday for dinner , I liked the cozy ambience & the food of this place. Good place to have yummy Korean food in Bengaluru.

A lover of Korean food, so yes I really enjoy coming here. Do keep in mind I am an Indian, so those Koreans who feel 'nope she does not know what she is talking about'... Well... You are right, as this is the only time I have eaten Korean food.. IN INDIA!!
Though sometimes I feel they could make the ambience slightly better...Hey, but as long as the food is good why complain right!!

When it comes to food, the only thing missing in their starters is an egg item. They should really consider adding that in their menu.
Otherwise, I so love their service, starters, gimbap, and bulgogi ( forgive the spelling errors!)

Also irrespective if there are 2 or 4 people dining in, they still give the same amount of starters. WHYYYYYY?

But am definitely a fan of this restaurant..
Lehsum Geiyi
It's a wrong order I ordered for non veg kimchi beef fried rice n they send only veg kimchi fried rice ..wat sud I do. Now

This place is average. The rolls or gimbap are just okay (we tried the beef gimbap). The complementary platter was nice though..We also tried pork bibimbap which was more towards sweet flavor though we asked for a spicy one. We complemented the sweetness by mixing their hot sauce later. The BBQ pork was nice, just very basic. A one time visit is fine.

Sometime we have to try different thing.
May be some people may not go for Korean cuisine.
But i want everyone to try once..
You will find difference from other cuisine
I love the korean food especially samgypsal that is pork belly and kimchi (one of their famous dish)
bibimbab and ramyun(noodles)
The food set up in the table is also different from other cuisine.
The service is good even food and ambience
Recommended for other..
Great for a quick Gimbap fix when you're craving sticky rice and nori but not really in the mood for full fledged sushi. Served with soya sauce, it's a great dinner when you're lazy and love eating with chopsticks. 😊
Abhishek Kumar Poddar
The team is warm and hospitable. However the ambience could have been made a little livelier... It looks like our chain of Dharshini hotels. Coming to the food- nothing spectacular but basic hearty average food. What really stood out was their Gimbap. Everything else like the Ramyun, the beef stir fry and Korean Barbeque Pork was averagely nice. What really did not impress was their kimchi which seemed like a hurriedly assembled cabbage salad with some spices. We have had better Kimchis in Bangalore.

Overall a OK place to visit if you are around the place.
Shatabdi Deb
Visited this place for the first time today, though not a great fan of Asian food but I cannot deny the fact that the food they serve is delicious. Had ordered Gimbap and Stir fried noodles and I couldn't be happier after taking the first bite. Staff is extremely courteous, service was prompt enough and value for money would be a 9 on 10. Setup is pretty homely and location of the place isn't difficult to find. If you'd want to try some authentic Korean delicacies, this is your go to place. From me it's 5 star to Hi Seoul. Great going guys, keep up the good work. Will definitely visit soon again!!

Been here with my friend and as one of the sushi cravings days.. ordered a kim bap and a bibimbap . Both were really good and plus a lot of sides was served . Definitely a place to visit as it priced decent. Worth to try.. when craving for a good korean food

good authentic food, busy on weekends. recommended for get together with friends and family- not advisable for first dates or business occasions though.

This restaurant is simply amazing! I'm a huge fan of Korean food and this is where I had my first Korean meal experience, and I was so happy! I was here with my friends and we had the Ramyeon, Bulgogi, Japchae, and Kimbap. All of them were so delicious! Loved the taste of Bulgogi and Japchae, and Ramyeon is just lovely! I'm cannot wait to visit this place again for the food! The place is really clean and very hygienic! The staff was also really sweet and nice! While we were leaving it started to rain really heavily and the staff asked us how are we going to go in this rain? That was really very sweet of them! The cost of the meal was also very reasonable, given the fact that most of the ingredients are imported from Korea. Loved the experience, and I will DEFINATELY visit again! Ghamsahanmida! ❤

A great place for good korean food. Kim bap and Korean bbq are good, price is appropriate compared to other fancier korean places. After a good meal, the fresh, chilled, water melon slices they served were such a great welcome. Ambience is okayish, but could be better, cos they got space. One negative experience, the glasses were not that clean on our last visit. :)
Raj Dev
go before 9:30 or else they will start chasing you off. Food is good, we love the ramyun noodles with a portion of kimbap. price wise a bit costly but cheaper than other koreab restaurants in bangalore.
Nitika Raj
So first time trying Korean food and they didn't dissapoint. 😀 Service was good along with the food. Can't compare anything (as first time) but Kimchi was strong af( do not eat just like that, take some rice 😛). Ordered beef Bibimbap ( I didn't like the red bean paste on top but it didn't bother my friend), chicken hot pot and chicken gimbap. My fav of the day was the jjeon(kinda pancake) they served as a complimentary dish 😋.
Siva Kumar Buddhaa
Very good Korean restaurant. Authentic style Korean food. They even have Korean bbq. When u order main course they give the sides which is part of Korean culture super

It is very easy to miss out this place but worth the search. Cozy ambience with good food. Tried the Jeyuk bokkeum (korean spicy pork stir fry) and Buchimgae (Korean pancakes). Loved it both. The pancakes were really soft and fluffy.
Though my friend ordered something in octopus and it was very hard and rubbery. Also their last order is at 9:30 pm which is a shame !
Jalpa Pankhania
Amazing place and even better food! One of the few places in Bangalore where you would get authentic Korean food! Must try: Kim bap and Korean bbq
Deepika Anvekar
Had ordered Gimbap (dried seaweed roll/sushi) and along with it came complimentary vegetable pancake sort of dish. Fruit was also served at the end which was complimentary again. I loved the food and had to parcel the Gimbap as quantity for a single person to finish post the pancake starter was a task . The staff was very courteous and service was the best thing I liked. This was the first time I tried this place and am sure to take my folks to try their other dishes.
Sahil Mathew
This is the only Korean restaurant I've dined at in Bangalore. I'm not sure how authentic the food is but it tastes great! Don't miss out on the Gimbap!

This place is a gem..one of the best Korean cuisine restaurant that I have been to, in bng..food is simply marvelous..price is decent compared to similar restaurants.. service and ambience also satisfactory..
Nikhil Chowdary
Great food kept us coming back about 4-5 times. But the consistently terrible service put us off finally. A pity such a good restaurant is ruined by apathetic and rude staff.
Sohini Bhattacharyya
One of my most favourite places in this city, it is easy to miss this restaurant since it gets overshadowed by the glitzy Rasta cafe across the road. The restaurant staff is very friendly and warm and the ambience is homely and spacious. The food is amazing and the gimbaps are just amazing. Also great is the complementary fare offered at the beginning and the chilled watermelon slices provided as dessert in summers. Hope this place stays just as it is!
Reshma Mathew
Good korean food. I keep visiting especially for the pancake they serve in the banchan. Good Momos as well. One suggestion is to have more items on the menu like soondobu jigae etc
Ranjeet Sinha
Very quiet and economical place. Service is excellent. You get authentic Korean dishes here. It is a small place with very nice and homely ambiance.
Suzratzz
Today we visited the place and got a lovely platter as starter with Korean pan cake with different kimchi and other small staffs... Which very different and nice to start a Far East Asian cuisine. We ordered jeyuk bokkeum which was quite spicy but went nice with sticky rice beat bibimbup was much bland in taste... So I suggest to take it before... Ended up with fresh watermelon... Went all good... Cost a bit higher compares to quantity...but for a Different taste... Go for it

A visit inspired by some of my favourite TV SERIES, Hi Seoul certainly did not leave me disappointed.

The ambience is simple yet cozy, the service is fantastic, the host is a thorough gentleman who guides newbies through the complicated menu(crazy names btw) and the food is divine. I especially recommend the stir fried items and the ever so special RAMYUN!!!🌼🌼

Definite revisit soon!

Good Place, Nice food only service needs to improve, the place is small.. only one person was there who was managing the whole ..but the decor & atmosphere was very nice and soothing . . .

It's a delightful place with a very cozy ambience and friendly staff!
The peanuts in caramel sauce are almost addictive, the dolsot bibimbap and the deobap are absolute soul food along with the ttukbaegi bulgogi.
Amazing experience overall.

--
A small but very good restaurant. . .as I hail from Kolkata and had been here in Bangalore for a couple of days only.. so had the visit with the recommendation from a friend who lives there for a long. . .
and of coarse it's a very good idea being here. . .

the place is small.. only one person was there who was managing the whole (apart from cooking)..but the decor & atmosphere was very nice and soothing . . .

Service was good though less Staffs . . .

and the most important part is Food. . .
We've ordered 3 dishes only, but got a lot more because of their complementary Starters & Deserts..
yes they provide 7 types of starters (less amounts) and Watermelons as desert . . .

taste of foods were damn good. . . I like them all. . .
hardly can remind the names. . . but cannot forget the tastes. . .

items are bit costly, but according to the amounts & preparation that's reasonable . .

If get chance, I'll visit this place again. . .

Booked a table however reached by five mins to ten
.advised that the restaurant has closed as their kitchen closes by 9:30...what kind of service is this.. Better keep it open late..

Well wanted to try Korean food within a budget so decided to try HI Seoul and it's true it's within budget if u compare with other Korean cuisine restaurant. We entered and took a table and being the first time I asked the waiter to help me out and he was really sweet and helped me out in choosing the dish. Only thing I didn't like is that the rice in bibimbap was burned after few research I found out it's not suppose to be I was disappointed with it. Overall the steamed momos were good. Ambience is very homely and so is the service.

Wonderful ambience and food. The Chicken lollipops were truly amazing. The sides were filling with the omelette and the caramel peanut being the star.
A hot bowl of ramen , a perfect comfort food for your soul.

This was my recent weekend food joint! I was craving for a big bowl of ramen and decided to give it a try. How happy I was to find out they have the best combo ever - spicy ramen + gimbap ! And the sides were delicious too. The peanuts in caramel sauce were the best. Ate to my heart's content ! HAPPY TUMMY, HAPPY ME !

Impressed !!!

The bibimbap was perfect. Kimchi lovers paradise. We tried the Gimbap and it was truly a delight.
Very friendly staff , simple ambience , they have an outdoor seating as well. Reasonably priced. Plus they have good coffee & good wine . Must visit if you love Korean. Hi Seoul.

I hit this place to try Korean cuisine for the first time and Hi Seoul has left a huge first impression. I have become sort of a fan of Korean food. I have never eaten Korean food before so can't really comment on authenticity though it felt pretty authentic.

We tried Bibimbap, Deopbap, Seaweed Wrap, Korean Chicken Lollypop and all were amazing.

The place has indoor and open seating area. It seemed a little understaffed but the staff were very warm and friendly.

It is totally worth the money and the evening.

One of the few times I've ever been to a restaurant, tried a completely different cuisine and loved everything I ordered. The staff was pleasant and helpful too in trying to help us decide what to order. Will definitely go back there and also recommend it to my friends.

I've been staying just a few streets away, and it's a shame I didn't know a place such as this even existed!

What I love about Hi Seoul, is the fact that it's a nice, simple restaurant where the focus is just on good food. Awesome staff. V.good soupy noodles. They prepare some really kickass beef dishes. And their pork is definitely worth a try. I've just not managed to learn the names of dishes yet though ;) But, this place deserves a total thumbsup!

Hi Seoul was my second experience of Korean food and i definitely wasn't disappointed. We were four of us and made sure we tried as much as we could.

The chicken wings were great, but i missed the word sweet when we ordered. If you have a liking to sweet stuff, you would love this. Gimbap is my new favourite and i was quick to order one. This could have been better but good nonetheless. Bimbimbap is a must have at any Korean restaurant and we too didn't want to miss it. I loved it. We also ordered the BBQ pork, the one they claim is from Canada. This one i felt was not value for money. Just pan fried pork which we had with some leftover sauce of the chicken. The exciting part was that it was fried at our table.

We also ordered another pork dish that came with the sticky rice. Another dish that went very well with my Indian palette. The accompaniments on the table definitely need a mention. They could be meal if not shared.

Was working in Korea for 6 months and was enjoying Korean food there, in spite of being a vegetarian. Took my family here to show them a taste of Korean food. Ambience is simple, not flashy. You pay here only for the food. We ate bibimbaap, dolsot (hot) bibimbaap, kimchi fried rice, gobbled up all the kimchi. Family Loved the meal and the refreshing new flavors and taste. This was authentic Korean and tasted very similar you what I ate in Korea.

First time i have tried Korean food, i must say it was the best experience i ever had. Starting from the way they received us and the ambience we found there was homely and peaceful. Food was delicious and great value for your money
A great place to meet friends after a long time.
Must try Gimbap, bulgogi.

Superb food! Kimchi Jigae, dakgalbi, kimchi bibimbap with six different side dishes! Nice ambience, good place to take family and friends. Portions are big. Kimchi was rightly fermented and dak sauce was tangy, smokey, very good in test, chicken was succulent.

Very nice place to enjoy some authentic korean food. The service was excellent and the food tastes really nice. Recently shifted to this side of Bangalore and this was my first dine out this side. Lots more to explore but a promising start nonetheless!! Kudos to the staff and will visit you again soon..

A brilliant place to try out Korean food. We ordered Steam Chicken Dumplings and Korean cupcakes. The quantity was greater than what we expected. Plus they gave us complimentary dishes.

Take away. I am having Dolsot Bibimbap and the starters. Not really a nice instagram-ish picture (busy devouring the food) it is really yummy. For the first time I like Korean food in Kalyan nagar. Thank you making my cold day a little better. Why no cinnamon tea? And a hot one?

Authentic Korean food is pretty difficult to find... Hi Seoul changed my opinion about that.Very quaint and simple restaurant. The waiters are very sweet & friendly.
We ordered :
Chicken lollipop - 4.5/5, it was a little on the sweeter side... but crisp and delicious.
Gimbap Seaweed rolls - 4/5 my husband liked it, I am not a seaweed fan so didn't enjoy it quite that much. Recommended if you are a fan of sushi...
Pajeon (Korean pancake) - 4/5 very different, authentic Korean food, never had it before. It was good, cooked well.
Osam Bulgogi - 5/5 loooveddd it!! Definitely recommended... it had just the right amount of spice & super yum.

The portions are pretty large, two people can easily share all the dishes. We had to carry home leftovers, couldn't finish them.

Definitely visit if you want to have authentic Korean food :)

Hands down the best Korean restaurant here. The staff is extremely cordial. The portions they provide give justice to their prices. The amount of complementary veggies and dips was exorbitant. You must try the pork here, it's delicious. The slices of complementary watermelon at the end won our heart. Do visit here for a fine Korean experience.

Before you set foot here, throw away all expectations and preconceived notions, unless you carry them from real South korea. Go with an open mind.
Now the ambience is lovely, very homely and comfortable. K pop plays softly in the background. The staff is very friendly, courteous and attentive.
I love the sides they serve and the kimchi is pretty good. I've made kimchi with green cabbage from korean blogs before(I had to struggle to get the gochujang) so there I know what I'm eating. My friend ordered veg Gimbap that I didn't like much, but she loved. The dipping sauce is yummy.
I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap and it was interesting. A little bland for my chutney and chilli palate but good portion and filling. My friend liked the kimchi fried rice.
It is not very Indianised , which is good for authenticity.
The experience overall is good and I look forward to trying more of their fare. If you want a slice of south Korea at an affordable rate, this is your best bet.

Hi Seoul is a small homely restaurant in Kalyanagara which offers delicious Korean food. The restaurant may not look like a five star restaurant but it is a calm and quite place where you can spend your time with your friends and family.

Must try - Gimbap, Osam bulgogi, Chicken lollipops. I loved the Gimbaps.
Along with the food you can order a wine.
Where should I start!!?? I've been to this place like million times.. Being a Hangul drama fan, I started to try out and got craze about trying Korean food.. Have tried at Hae Kum Gang, Arirang, Thran; Hi Seoul has turned out to be my favorite..
This time I came with my friends and tried Beef Bulgogi and all time favorite Kimbap with wine.. Everything was perfect.. I just love their beef Kimbap along with which they give the unlimited side dishes as well.. Just perfect taste, ambience.. Yum!!! I wanna go again

I've only been to Hae Kum Gang in Bangalore for Korean food and loved that earlier, That place has been around forever, but Hi Seoul is even better probably. We ordered the pork bbq, Pajeon, which is a pancake with squid and other stuff and the Bibimbap. The food looked, smelled and tasted simply amazing - I like Korean food even more now because of this place. The guy told us the pork was imported from Canada, I wonder why not go local. However, the quality was really good and it tasted delicious. They serve wine only, I wish they also have beer. I'm definitely going back here for more.

Decided to try their Yukgaejang, which is supposed to be spicy beef soup. While it wasn't as spicy as I would have liked, it was tasty. Came with a generous portion of rice which went well with the soup.

The food is excellent. The staff are fun and very helpful. But what I liked the most was the complimentary sides, so yum and so unique! I recommend this place to anyone looking for an exciting new option.

Dropped in at Hi Seoul for a quick lunch while catching up with a friend. The ambiance inside was a bit gloomy so we decided to sit at one of the tables outside which was perfect in this beautiful weather we are experiencing right now.

For starters we ordered deep fried chicken wings and Kimbap(beef) which came along with the usual Korean accompaniments of Kimchi, egg rolls, caramalized peanuts, pickled veggies, mashed and fried veggies and a whole lot of other stuff which I forgot. The deep fried chicken wings was crispy on the outside and juicy inside with a sweet and mildly spiced sauce. I loved it! the Kimbap was just alright, the beef didn't add anything to the flavor profiles. I wish they had seafood versions of it.

For the main course we decided to share a yukgaejang which is a beef stew with leek and green bean sprouts. It was wholesome and filling and the broth was just perfectly spiced. I am glad they didn't indianize the spice levels.

To end the meal they served us a plate of chilled watermelon slices, which was great because we were too stuffed to eat a rich dessert.

The service was very friendly and prompt. The bill came to around 1600 for everything we had including two glasses of wine at 240 each.... That is great value for money at 800 per head.

I would definitely go back to try rest of their menu! Its always refreshing to have something different from the usual Chinese and Italian that we eat every week.

NOTE: Always order much lesser than you usually order at any other restaurant since they always serve these side dishes with every meal you have at a korean restaurant, well, atleast in the two that I have been to, the other one being Hae Kum Gang)

Such a nice place to visit. It was my first experience with Korean food and I did like it. Although my palette is very accustomed to Indian cuisine, I must say this was a lunch that was worth it.

Absolute gem, its always been that special place for a quiet and sumptuous meal.
Korean food is certainly my new found love. Its delicate, and fresh. With the included sides you get more value and joy. Very caring and helpful staff.

The food here was amazing. The place is small and cozy, to hang out with your close ones, not meant for business meetings. People there are good. They help you choose if you have trouble picking your dish. It worth giving it a try and I would visit the place again definitely. They serve wine also.

Only thing is, its not so good for vegetarians. No veg starters at all. A few veg main course dishes are available.

Had octopus here for the first time and it was really tasty. It's a small place with an outdoor place as well. Food was good and loved the side dishes especially the pancake. Foodies...save it(money, if u r a student like me) and visit once.😁
