Ambience is beautiful with green and well it. Food is great, tastes delicious. Drinks are very tasty as well. Great place to hang out with friends.

Old place. Tasty italian food for reasonable price. Separate smoking area available. Music and tv available. Clean and hygienic. Good service and friendly staff.

The beer is fine.... The UFO burger is a must try. People need to know what to order. You can't go there and order Indian dishes.

The best place for meet up ur friends and families.. Atmosphere here is very good.. Hospitality of staff is quite impressive.. Delicacy served here is of varied cuisines.. Best draught beer are served..

Could be a restaurant having great legacy. But right now, it needs a serious touch up to the decor. As everyone else in the list said to try steak, i did! And it was truly soft and yummy! All the dishes are good and service is fast. Smokers will love the place as they don’t have to get out for every puff.

Wanted to go this place for long as its one of the oldest pubs in Bangalore. Ambience is mediocre, please do not compare it with any upcoming pubs. Food is good. Service is very nice and polite. Best time to go is in afternoon or before sunset. Some might feel this place to be very dingy

I went with my friends to spend a noon. We ordered a tower of kingfisher beer(about 5 bottles). The price was average. The ambience was wonderful. There are separate smoking and non smoking zones. Food we ordered were delicious and we found good varieties of it. We spent around 4 hours and got a nice service. No beer brands apart from Kingfisher was available.

My all time favourite. I have been a customer from the day they opened. There's hardly any change from the way i remember it. Lively casual ambience. Great food make this place a must visit. Love the chicken steak Indian style.

Decent place with a nice view towards the road and for some reason, the view is enjoyable because of all the fancy cars parked around. The food was good, but they had a lot of vegetables in egg fried rice (rare to see so many vegetables in a plate). They only serve beer and I would love to visit this place again for that experience.

Loved it..! It's the best evening hang out in the city. Good food and reasonable menu is an advantage. Apparently, there is a downside to this wherein they do not have a separate space for smoking zone. This definitely disturbs the other diners

Nice place to hang out! Excellent chjlli paneer with beer! Very good staff, who have been working there for many years. One minus point is, too dimly lit, almost dark, and appears like a shady joint. They could brighten it up little more

WORST FOOD, WORST SERVICE, JUST AVOID THIS PLACE

We ordered Paneer and Chicken Sizzler. Both were of the worst quality possible. And the other possible mistake that we did was it was dim illuminated and we ate those stuff. The whole of our group were down with loose motions. I would suggest if you guys are considering this place rather please sit at home, Enjoy quality time on Netflix. The attitude of the staff was rude.

Not a great place to eat, the good part is u get beer...in food the veg and chicken pasta is really good, the chicken fired rice is also good. However it's way too highly priced, on top of that u have to compulsory pay the service fee, the staff is arrogant and very very rude, the management is really really bad. Seeing this place for nearly 2 decades, at one point of time this was the best hang out for youngsters. We used to spend time here. Now the quality has drastically gone down and zero cleanliness. My friends took me here for lunch over the weekend, I am coming here after a decade and was disappointed with quality and hygiene. Taste wise it was good. Felt it was expensive for this quality.

Terrible place to go, quality has reduced in a big way. I went out last night and ordered a pizza. It was such a low quality pizza that I have diarrhoea. They use the cheapest possible ingredients. Overall a terrible place to go to.

I love this restaurant for the ambience and dim lighting. The food is pretty good too considering you're well versed with the menu and you know what dishes cooked here are good.<br/>Ordered a pitcher of beer and French fries and Don Pedro pizza. Being a huge fan of their fries,I was really disappointed this time as there was not much potato filling in the fries.<br/>Also ordered lemon chicken which was good except sour at places where the lemon was mixed with a couple chicken pieces. The schezuan rice was mediocre.<br/>What I really haven't been impressed with since 3 years is the pricing which has not gone down. They have also started charging for service apart from GST. Have been a regular visitor for almost 20 years..and it's really nice place for hangout. But nowadays the quality of food is going down, they have to take care on this.

It was weekday and we decided to head out for a drink and this place was so perfect .Sanju was very helpful and polite . Good ambience and food . It was a perfect night for me . Good music !!

I had one of the worst experience,we went and ordered our food but the waiter didn't even bother listening to us post taking the order.<br/>After half an hour of waiting,when questioned about the order they told it wasn't ready and said it would take 10 extra minutes.<br/>The waiter was rude the next time we questioned him for the food and told us that he will cancel the order.<br/><br/>I Left the place without having any food.<br/>Thank you La Casa for the "great service".<br/>

I didn't like the place at all..the staffs were all laid back,it took them such a long time to get the menu card and post that the quality of food delivered was terrible.i had ordered kulcha which tasted as if made out of leather and their kadhai chicken was pathetic,it was garnished with so much capsicum,it felt as if it was capsicum Curry and by mistake two pieces of chicken had fallen into it.The attitude of the hotel staff was pathetic to say the least.Moreover the crockery used we're very dirty,the jug used to serve normal water gave me a puckish feeling.Will not recommend this place to even my enemies.Its better to starve rather than going to a place like this and insulting your taste buds.<br/>

The service and food was very good. Must visit place. We had a chicken sizzler and veg biryani. Though i was a little skeptical while ordering biryani coz places like these barely get it right, but was Not disappointed by La Casa. Same goes with the sizzler as well. Do give it a try whether you’re hanging out with friends or even family. Oh, and you’ll fall in love with the ambience, very rustic and rich! One of the oldest places in Bangalore, not much has changed over the years. Pretty sure the old faithful who still visit the place can vouch for it. Not a place new kids on the block will like, the place is all about beer, conversations, good food complemented with friendly service and their very own cat which hasn't left the place in over half a decade!

Visited this place after almost 10years I guess😊 Ambience is basic yet it has some charm. Places like this you should really order food that they are known - Ordered some fish and chips- crispy chips and well cooked fish- was good<br/>Bolognese- the hero dish for me here- absolutely yummy. Popped in after really really long time, used to be our regular binge beer place, service and ambiance has been deteriorated by these years.<br/>Ordered our usual draught beer and steak.<br/>Beer was as usual KF draught and did not like the steak at all, meat was too chewy and too bland.<br/>Place was OKISH clean and service was late.<br/>Servers are old school and just to do their job.<br/>F Y I - this place is not a brewery and they only serve draught beer.<br/><br/><br/>There are even better places few steps away. <br/>Parking - in the bylanes if you are lucky enough.

The place is located around a beautiful corner in Jayanagar. I had visited La Casa the first time in 2013 and I wish the food they serve now could be even half decent as what it used to be in the past.<br/><br/>The quality of food and service has really gone down off late. Visited the place on a Thursday afternoon. It was deserted. The food was good.<br/><br/>We ordered the submarine Nebraska, chicken mexican pot soup, meat chilli corn carne (rice item) and chicken la casa (pic). The portion sizes were good, tasty and the meat was tender. The above order was shared between 3 people and it did fill our tummies.<br/><br/>Overall it was a good experience partly due to the cloudy weather.

Came by La Casa accidentally when hunting for a place to have lunch on a Saturday afternoon.<br/>Situated on the busy street of Jayanagar 4th block, I decided to give it a try while I had to wait for my bike to come out of service.<br/>As soon as my brother and I entered,the ambience was somewhat dark and there was not much place between tables, we were given a table overlooking the road. It was quite pleasant.<br/>We were given a single menu card and being my first time here I asked for suggestions from the waiter. All he said was 'pasta pasta pasta'.<br/>While I do like pastas I was not in the mood for one and asked for a different suggestion only to be redirected to pasta again. which was strange since I clearly said I don't want it.<br/>Anyway ordered a pitcher of beer. with chilly chicken and two steaks for the main course.<br/>While the chilly chicken was really good . The chicken pepper steak and the chicken mushroom steaks were the exact same thing while there were 4 mushrooms sprinkled on top of one. The taste was good though and it was filling.Bill was on the higher side considering it was just three items plus alcohol.<br/>Not a great first time experience but not a bad one either.

Awesome place to chill right in the middle of Jayanagar. Located around the corner, it gives you a feeling of local bar located in Goa or something Not too many options in drinks but yes beer is the best option here. Non veg starters and veg starters are both good. My personal favourite is chicken arrabiata.

Visited La Casa for the first time a week ago with my hubby, who likes this place very much. It was a nice experience; good food, good hospitality. <br/>We enjoyed having Chicken momos, hot pepper prawns, drums of heaven and chicken steak princess. <br/>The only let down was chicken hot and sour soup which was not so good. But rest of the food we ordered was very delicious, this is a place we’d definitely visit again. Thank you.

This is a place to chill out with friends over some beer & pasta in the rather busy Jayanagar 4th block area with the big tables & a view of the road. They also open the first floor in the evenings I was told.<br/>Food is nothing spectacular but won't really depress if one sticks to beer & pasta. They have a lot of variety though. The staffs are forthcoming & have a 'son of the soil' sort of friendliness which few of us are comfortable with.<br/>Try the 'Arrabiata' if you're coming first time. The lasagnes are also not bad either. The draught beer, of course, is the king, if you're a beer lover that is 👌

I had been to this place once....ordered cindrella...drums of heaven...kalmi and chicken princess(sizzler)...wel...does the names sound nice??though food is average ...have seatings. ..It gives the more feel of bar...way hiped up in that area and kinda expensive for the food served. ..overall average....The branch in Sarjapur road Is lil better in service.

So this is my first choice visit here and the last one of course.<br/><br/>The place is stuffy and small and u can feel yourself just struggling to keep a conversation due to the noise. Music is lousy...not too clean...and no ventilation or ac or fan..it's hot and stuffy.<br/><br/>We ordered Chicken pepper steak , chicken straganoff and Mexican hot pot for my son.<br/><br/>The taste wasn't bad but it wasn't anything like the dishes were meant to be. The pepper steak was a white sauce full of cheap cheese and horribly cooked ...straganoff was like eating kofta curry with rice..it taste exactly like the north Indian dish far away from the supposed version .<br/><br/>My son refused to eat the Mexican hot pot and said it was bad..it had no taste ...<br/><br/>Overall pricey and lousy ..not worth it..there are so many better options at this price point ..that u don't need to come .<br/><br/>Oh the funny part..the main guy who takes orders an old man is too lazy to move he dosent want to bother ..so u can keep calling him but he won't bother.. after we paid the bill the server just stood there looking at our faces for tips and it's an odd experience at the bill cost..I don't expect this in a restaurant where I have paid so much...it's a like small South Indian joints where servers are waiting and if u don't tip u get the look...u know what I mean.<br/>I didn't tip of course 😊<br/><br/>I need to add too many mosquitoes and they were all over..philthy place

First off the staff is not trained .. some roadside fellows are servers.. extremely rude and spit in your face whilst they talk to you .. One of the most fav place ever since I have been to Bangalore..Beer is always chilled here and tastes so perfect, the food is mild and nice.. french toast is yumm, peanut masala is tangy perfect to beer, chicken is always well cooked. And not to forget their sizzlers.. The food is delicious. The pizza is super cheesy. The appetizers were of good quantity as well. It's a small place with lots of plants and road view that becomes a perfect place for a calming Sunday lunch.

It's not often that you can bite into a piece of history as you munch on masala papad with your mates out on any day or night of the week. La Casa is that place where you make someone an offer they can't refuse. Charming decor from way back when greets you in an unassuming corner of what is paradoxically a teetotaling neighbourhood- charming because it makes the whole experience all the more philosophically exotic and interesting. It takes courage to do what La Casa has been doing and over the years, the many engineering graduates that it has seen, well, Graduate, should tell incumbents about the kind of legacy it hints at.

Located in Jayanagar. This is a very nice and decent place to go on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Food is great and the beer is good too. PS: don't forget to try fish fingers and their pizzas.

I've heard a lot about this place, so I had to try it on another weekend. The ground floor looked antique and the decor attracted. The waiters however failed to find a table for three and headed us to the first floor. The ambience over here, to my astonishment was totally opposite and pretty dull! So that spoilt the mood, especially the contrast of what you expect and what you settle for. The food was also pretty okay. I've ordered a 4 seasons pizza which was disappointing. The place was smelling badly, moreover there were mosquitoes as well.<br/><br/>We ordered Momos (with vegetable filling) which was served with Mayo and Mint Chutney, when we asked for Schezwan sauce they said it was not available.The Momos were over cooked and hard whereas, the filling inside had more ginger and less vegetables.<br/><br/>We also ordered Paneer Steak Princess Sizzler ,which was the worst. The french fries that came along were soggy and Paneer was not all visible. It was so tasteless. We wasted Rs 700.<br/><br/>Please do not visit...!

Food is good undoubtedly, but the service felt like govt ofc. People working there seemed to be working from ages and plan to retire from there. Lousy approach from staff while delivering the food to table & even a plate to eat, they need to listen the orders properly and not argue with customers when something wrong is delivered. Staff would choose to stand there and glaze at the road than taking proper care of customers and orders..overall disappointing service but good food.

Not an ideal "restaurant" for a treat but circumstances made us visit this place. Despite the bad reviews online, we took a chance and ate humble pie!<br/>Our ignorance caused us a big heartache today. We not only got to see bad hygiene in kitchens, we witnessed bad work ethics.<br/>We chose to be seated at the lesser preferred near service kitchen window and freezers. We were asked thrice what water we want and we answered patiently "regular water please". Nope, that's not the irritating part....the water arrived 20 mins later. Menu is on the expensive side. While we waited for order of spaghetti bolognese and veg sizzler, most of staff loiters around the entrance lift or freezer area..no that was not the main issue, they huddling and talking around us was! I saw the head waiter walk up to the freezer, dip a spoon in the icecream tubs and eat from it. Right in front of table, unapologetic..the image of his used spoon around the food was not a sight to be forgotten! Few staff members were sincerely working but many laughing and around the food..Really off putting<br/>Coming to the food, as a continental food lover it was not appealing in taste nor flavor. The spaghetti was meh...The veg cutlet was ok.<br/>The 1 point was the free entertainment in the form of a friendly stray golden cat in the restaurant :)

The food is horrible, quite flat and tasteless. Although a lot of good things are said about this place, I never found anything remotely close to being good. <br/><br/>The seating is uncomfortable. The beer is flat and the garlic bread here is normal bread with tiny pieces of garlic forced into it. Stay away.

What I loved is the food 4 on 5 , Italian sizzlers and pasta and lasagnas are yum. Ambience is okay okay .. a 3 on 5 and service wasn't very great either 3 again .. if you love food .. Italian especially .. You should visit this place

The good part: Food. I had ordered a chicken stroganoff and I loved it! But I wasn't exactly fond of the ambience. A bit too dim for my taste. And the service is absolutely a drag! Nobody is bothered. You've got to repeat yourself at least thrice to different people before you actually get what you want. All in all I'd rather order take out than sit there and eat. Good food though!

A decent place to chill over some beer and some grub, but the place is extremely dimly lit. The fish burger, pasta and juices were decent. The ground floor has some place allotted as smoking area, hence can be a problem. The seating on the 1st floor is a bit cramped, but overall a decent place!

Had gone there with my girls and it was the only decent place which is present near rguhs. We ordered the chicken sizzler and it was real good. Value for money. Nice ambience and friendly staff. Can give this place a visit!

Recently I have been to this place on a friend's birthday treat. They have 2 buildings I guess just beside each other and the building we went inside looks like a house is re-modeled. Anyways, we were the largest group their that night and got the attention of the servers. We ordered Chicken Manchow Soup, Veg Manchow Soup and Veg Hot and Sour Soup. Then we got Pepper Chicken(they put kaju in them, seriously!), Tandoori Chicken, Drums of Heaven, Baby Corn Manchurian and Paneer Tika as starters along with coke, pitchers and mocktails. Both the Cinderella and Fruit Punch were similar, with lots of Pineapple juice in them. Lastly, we got Kadai Chicke, Butter Chicken, Masala Papad, Veg Curry, Veg Platter, Veg Pulav, Raita and rotis. Food and service is good here but the place is very dimly lit.

I have been visiting this place since my high school as its my father's fav place. The best part about this place is the crowd buzzing. Feels very lively. I have loved the food here coz the menu itself is huge and everything I have tried has been really good. <br/>A great place for youngsters to hang out.

I don't know y its under rated but trust me there is no better place for eating Italian food compared this in bangalore .I liked pasta (penne) with lamb meat sauce and minced chicken sticks .price is also reasonable and ambience and crowd is good <br/>add to it they don't charge service tax .<br/>Beer mug just cost 120 here .only place where u can also find Kannada speaking staff

The place does not have a great ambience but some of the food is unique.<br/><br/>Their risotto is more like a fried rice served with a hot Indian gravy but tastes just wonderful and love it.<br/><br/>There is a good variety of options from Indian Chinese Italian to American so something for everyone.<br/><br/>The ground floor is a smoking area not suitable for kids. The first floor is more like a small room so don't recommend going there with kids.<br/><br/>Their pannacotas are yum.

The taste, and the ambience, is quite okay. The good part is the quantity - quite a lot of it for its rates. All in all a rather wannabe Italian type of place, the taste is very Indian.

I was looking forward to great food, but it was an expensive let down. <br/>Our Order: <br/>Veg: Cauliflower Au Gratin and a potato starter. <br/>Non-veg: Lasagne, Pizza, Pasta Alfredo, chilli chicken, chilli fish & drums of heaven. <br/>And fruit juices.<br/>Among the mains, the lasagne and pasta were decent in terms of taste. However, the Au Gratin was a bowl of melted cheese. <br/>The 2 is only for the good starters and the portion sizes.<br/>

Been here many times..Good draught beer and nice food with decent ambience..1st floor is the non smoking section..drums of heaven,chilly prawns and yummy steaks..Decent service..

A dimly lit place with ground and first floor. It's usually crowded but didn't find the reason why because there many better places than this in jayanagar. Mocktails were too costly even though they had many options. Service was very late

La Casa is not a very trendy restaurant in centre of Jayanagar but they serve good food. People who serve aren't very professional except for their dress. A nice place to hatch on a weekend with a beer and some starters.

The tomato was out of this world though one of the most basic soups very few get it right the chef here got it right.we also ordered an Indian style steak chicken sizzler,sizzlers are a must try here.

This is a vintage Bangalore hangout situated in Jayanagar 4th Block. I like it for the combination of food, drinks and ambiance. Good drought beer, excellent starters and delicious entrees. They have a open seating area overlooking a street. They serve Indian, Continental, and Chinese all of which is prepared well. Must try: Chinese starters, which go very well with the beer. Highly recommended : my absolute favorite, the Indian style Chicken sizzler. The masala they use for this is phenomenal, its done well with the chicken stake, frys, veggies and garlic bread. This place is best enjoyed with great pals, so go in a group, enjoy the ambiance, beer and food.

This is another regular hang out place with buds. The only reason for my visit would be to have fish n chips.. Nothing else.. Ambience is good n the food tastes OK.. Nothing special except fish n chips.. Price is too freaking expensive... Just doesn't make sense for the sky high price... Visit only if you are a fan on fish n chips..
