Rana Mukherji
Food is so spicy - it killed the flavor of dhania chicken and sarso is saag... The stuffed paratha was salty...portioning was poor - two-piece of small chicken for 300rs dish?? Overrated restaurant!
Soo Subba
I ordered for Phindi Chole (which is made up of Kabuli Channa as per their own menu) but when the order arrived, it was horsegram. We complained to the waiter but he was like.. eat or leave. No managers, supervisor to complain to. Bad food and pathetic service. Don't go to Oye Amritsar...its more like fake Amritsar .
Parijat Banerjee
Under flavored food. Not authentic punjabi at all. Highly disappointed.
Siddharth Tiwari
Not worth the money at all.
Yash Mehrotra
Mouse in the restaurant running around.
Shubhankar Shah
Mice running about the restraunt, bad food, bad service
Pranshu Mishra
Great Punjabi cuisine and theme.

I just didn’t like it. Didn’t like the food also it was very salty. Ambience could have been much better. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place though

Oye Amritsar is situated on Church Street and also has multiple franchises. I had come here for lunch. I had ordered cheese naan along with murg lahori and to end the meal I got lassi malai mar ke. The cheese naan is definitely worth trying(1 naan will have 2-3pieces filled with cheese), the murg lahori was a mix of punjabi and sindhi flavours(not too spicy and quite homely) and the lassi looked and tasted great(too filling). Overall the ambience is nice, the food is great, the pricing is affordable. One suggestion is that they could improve their overall service a bit more. Next time I would like to give the kebabs a try.
Atin Katoch
Ambience was not maintained, washrooms were very dirty and jst close to dinning area, Service was quite late due to some technical issue with tandoor bt staff seemed to be ignoring
Manik Bakshi
Really good service lead by Hitesh and great food, really courteous. Will love to come back whenever i miss northern food.

So this place wins my heart for the Punjabi food they serve

A must try is the jalebi naal Rabdi there..

The ambience is quite quirky.
The service needs to be little fast.
Food as I told is yumm and people should try more of non veg core Punjabi dishes there
Will not recommend for paneer and vegetarian lovers
The price is really affordable like for weekend lunches after shopping..

A pocket friendly place for North Indian cuisine. The food was scrumptious and palatable. The portions were good and the especially the chicken starters as well as the main course were succulent and flavoursome. We had ordered lassi malai mar ke, pindiwale bhatti da murg, amritsari machhi, amritsari kulcha, kukkad makhanwala and jalebi naal rabdi. If you intend to satisfy your taste buds and fill your tummy, then you must try this restaurant. We relished all the items and most importantly it had that Punjabi tinge which enhanced its essence.

Firstly the service was good so I wouod give them the service 4/5. Now coming to food this is one of the worst North Indian food I had. Ordered kadhai paneer and pindi chole and butter milk.. Kadhai paneer was sweet, pindi chole was blant, butter milk had no taste at all.
This place should not have a 4.0 rating.
Aniket Dutta
Mr Vikram was a very courteous staff

Lovely food. North Indian themed restaurant with great food. Rara chicken kukkad is a definite order here. Overall experience:- Loved every bit of my dinner
Smita Balamatti
The service is below average, food is average. Nothing great about this place, none of the dishes seemed authentic Punjabi. But service is what makes cherry on the cake. Not warm and welcoming, doesn't look like they need people coming over.
Saubhik Som
Very nice place for North Indian food. Do try the bhatinda cantonment mutton curry. Veg options are also quite well. Ambience is also okay type. The price I feel a little expensive
Nitish
Good food. Okish Ambience...service is slow as compared to other restaurant.....Usually good for friends and family but not ideal for couples

CA Ankit Jain
The service was not at all good. The manager was irritating and profit mongering. Denied us the seat where we wanted to sit by stating a blatant lie. Service was slow and uncaring. Food was okok.. nothing tempting or good to visit this restaurant. Only thing is its budget friendly compared to others.
Afsa Malik
Oye Amritsar by its name made me crave for North Indian food in Bangalore. So I order a starter "tandoori chicken" with butter naam, chicken kadhi and chicken biryani. Everything I had from this place was average.
Tanvi Rahman
Have been there a couple of times. The food is good and consistent. Good food at a good price point. Will highly recommend the palak papdi chaat.
Pranita Sawant
Went here on a Sunday evening for dinner. The place is quite small right in front of empire and serves pretty good North Indian food. We had spinach cheese kofta curry, Hara bhara kabab and naans. The food was definitely good. The only thing that let us down was the staff and overall ambience at the place. We had to keep calling the staff time and again, our orders were goofed up but we somehow let certain things slide cause the food was good.
Darshan P
Average taste, bad service and ambience. Lassi is the one the that you can bank on and my review would be very specific to my taste as comparing it with kapoor's cafe or such similar.
Love_Bengaluru

This is one of the besttt North Indian restaurants in the city! It’s been my favourite place since the very beginning and my go-to place whenever I’m craving for super yummy North Indian khaana!
Love the punjabi chilli chicken, Kadai panner , mushroom kofta with garlic naan and the masala papad.
Everything is best here!
Sachit Batra
Great for North Indian cuisine, huge servings, prompt, helpful and polite staff - shout out to Sukesh for exceptional service! Zomato gold is cherry on the top.
Govind
I have always visit this restaurant.I glad they did,
ambience is amazing. The place can seat more than 45 people at a time, and the service is also timely and excellent.

Hara Bhara Kabab made of minced paneer ,spinach and green peas ,it was yummy.

Place are perfect taste of Punjabi food. It's a must visit place nice place have proper north Indian.

Awesome place with great service. Staff were so prompt and friendly.
Prashant Rana
Its highly unsatisfying how these popular places have such pathetic management.. I don't know who hires these kind of people, and rank them manager.. these people doesn't have any idea how hospitality works.. please give proper training to your staff or better do not hire these kind of people, they are going to affect your business big time.. very disappointed by the behavior of the person who calls him Manager of the restaurant..
Gaurav Agrawal
Very rude behaviour of manager.... Have to leave the place without having dinner. Highly recommend not to visit such place with such unprofessional staff
Rima Borah
It's sad when the management is so rude that you miss out on the good food the place serves. This place was highly recommended by others for its food.
But the staff however need to know how to treat customers when availing gold offers.
The person who was supposed to take our order first demanded that we produce ID proofs against our Zomato profile. Been using Zomato gold since 16 months and this the first time a restaurant has asked to produce ID. When questioned why he needs to see my ID, he just lost his cool. We did produce our IDs. But we had to argue for 15 mins with the mannerless staff member only to leave the restaurant without placing any order. He was loud and creating a scene.

Shame on such staff members who bring such bad name to the place.
Pratik Kabadagi
Taste here is authentic Punjabi!
The place looks cool.
Ambience makes you feel Punjabi!
Quantity of food is also good!
Chicken items were great!
Taste 4.2/5
Ambience 3.8/5
Staff 3.7/5
Overall 4/5.

Coming from Chandigarh I am always craving for good Punjabi North Indian food and hell yeah this place is the one. Love their breads, soft and crispy. Have tried multiple gravies here, loved all of them but Lahori Dhingra kofta is my favourite. never liked mushroom but this is another level
I never thought of getting Jalebi and rabri thus good anywhere other than North India but got it here. Had a great conversation with Mr. Subir Nath. Running very nicely this place.
Vikash Dubey
Very unprofessional manager. Fighting for no reason. Very unfriendly staff. Seem like not interested in serving customers. Had to leave restaurant without eating as he said wont take order. Never visit to this placs
Yamini Vishwanath
Ordered alu paratha and Hara bhara kebab...the kebabs were burnt n had no taste. Alu paratha was very thick , not cooked evenly and very less stuffing.pickle or curd or raita not served with the paratha. Disappointed.
Akhil
I went there for my treat to my team. We ordered Paneer Tikka and other chicken starter. Main course was good specially Dal makhani and we ordered Egg rice in that quantity of rice was good enough for 2 people 😃 Everyone liked the food and service.
Anupam Das
Gold benefits were not allowed properly on the menu . They said that we have to order same dish twice to get gold benefits. Food was average in taste and quantity was less compared to the cost .
Mahek Saria
The ambience is very nice. Simple yet thoughtful. One can find funny memes and posters around and it will really be something you like. The food is very good to taste. The staff could be a little more amiable and the restrooms a little clean. Everything else just makes it a great place. We ordered Soudhe Aloo for starter and Malai kofta with parathas for main course.
Shivam Singhal
A decent place with a cinematic touch to it. I personally loved the interior work, and the cinematic essence. The food’s great. We loved the kulchas, and the kofta. The service is pretty quick too. If you’re looking out for North Indian food, you should definitely try this place.
Varun Shiri
Great food. The lassi was amazing. The Punjabi Paneer Tikka was also very good. We ordered Kukkad Patialawala for main course, which was quite good. The parathas were great.

The best part was the quantity. There were three of us, and at the end we were stuffing ourselves, and not that we had over-ordered. With Zomato Gold, it is very reasonable and is definitely worth a try.
Harmeet Singh
GREAT Taste , courteous staff I will recommend for family dinner , and casual get together .
Non veg dishes are very good , and a must try is sweet lassi
Karthi
The food was okay. But service was very very slow. Staff was inadequate. Had to call a number of times for my order. I would not visit this restaurant again due to lack of professionalism.
Foodie_munchkin
They have friendly staff and quick service. Ambience isn't that great. Food was nice but not authentic Punjabi style. I had ordered murg starter it was nice. Murg gravy wasn't that great. Lassi is a must try for lassi lovers. For 2 people the cost came to INR 750 as I'm Zomato gold member.
Overall
Price 3.5/5
Food quality 3.5/5
Ambience 3/5
Location 4/5
Value for money 3.5/5

Pragya Agrawal
Oye Amritsar as the name suggests the vide variety of North Indian dishes served on the menu gives you complete Punjabi food flavours and is most preferred place if you like Punjabi food.

I have tried most of the veg dishes on the menu. The veg platter serves you with good range of starters and lassi is also yum.

The kadai paneer and dal makhani is must try on the menu for veg options

Food - 4.5/5
Service - 4/5
Ambience -3/5

This is my go to place . Anytime I don’t feel like eating in my office canteen I go here ... I My favourite is prawn biryani and Patiala lassi... staffs were little ignorant but they do there job . I will recommend this place
Manab
We went to this place going through reviews and decent rating on Zomato. The location of this place is great, just opposite to Oh Calcutta at Church Street. The ambience is not that great, nor is the seating space. The staff although are very polite. Comming back to the food, the food is really pathetic, I have never had such a pathetic food at Bangalore. The paneer tikka was just horrible, tasteless with food Colors, and the soups are just like tomato curries. Dal makhni was decent, and the sarso ka saag was actually palak in my opinion. The rice was half cooked. The parathas were okay. Considering the quality of the food, the pricing is on the higher side. There is no point comming to this place if you do not have Zomato gold.
Finally if you are looking for authentic Punjabi food, there are much better options, definitely not this one.
Thanks
Rishabh Wahi
The place is quite average, nothing out of the world.
I tried handi murg, it lacks character and tastes like if someone just threw all the ingredients together and took it off the flame a little too early.
Chandana
Pathetic service and food isn't that great. Please avoid and don't go with the ratings or for zomato gold. Even after zomato gold discount food isn't worth that much. There are other better places in Church Street or the restaurant has to work towards improvement.
Ayush Chhabra
Staff 4/5, Cleanliness 1/5 , food 3/5, ambience 3/5, presentation 3/5

If cleainess were improved & ambience were improved to a lighter interior, it could be a 3 atleasy
DD712
The service was very poor. The guy started serving main course while we were only half way through the Starters, we ended up eating a cold main course due to that. The food was normal nothing outstanding. Definitely better places around to try out food other than this place.
Devika Suresh
Hygiene standards are pathetic. The entire place stinks and the food is average. Need a major revamp in terms of cleanliness. Would not recommend.
Supriyo Biswas
The ambiance of the place was really good but there are a few highlights which I came across when it came to experience. I asked for mutton Briyani and the Briyani which I was served had a chicken leg piece. And even the person was confirming saying it's mutton. Finally I had to call the manager and give him a proof of me being a Bengali.
And I never knew to avail zomato Gold we need to carry our ID cards as well. Which pissed me off. I was with my friends which is why I didn't create a scene.
Any ways. Never again
Shilpa M Agarwal
Food is fine but the restaurant premise is not good. Very cramped sitting and there are only 3 ACs which hardly cool the premise. The waiters look a bit confused and are constantly running around. The Jalebi is the worst that I had till date. Don’t go on the other reviews and order Jalebis... the Dal Makhni was awesome and paneer ki gappe was interesting. Lassi was also thick and fine. If they improve their seating, service and cooling a definite 4 stars from my end!
Ashok Nair
Had lunch there today.Food standard was satisfactory. But the hygiene left a lot to be desired. The toilet was smelling and a few cockroaches was also seen. The ambience was just satisfactory and the photographs were very deceptive-its a single hall. The staff were polite and courteous. The service was okay.
Hungry Hooman
Zomato suggests be friendly and polite.

How??? I really want to ask Oye Amritsar guys, what's the point of offering discounts on delivery orders when you are going to cut corners and end up losing more customers.

Stop offering discounts, rather focus on quality and service.

All this rant because I ordered a Chicken Curry Combo and received a meal which had frozen and hard tandoori rotis instead of Paranthas, there was no Raita and moreover, the Biryani was only rice and not chicken biryani as mentioned in your Menu.

I was a regular customer, but this experience has really put me off. Disgraceful! To say the least.
FOOD MAGA
A small eatery with Amritsar feel when u drop in. Chicken drums we're well cooked with butter which made it juicy, 4/5. Fish : amritsari macchi was a bad experience, it's a fish fillet dipped in a besan paste.. 2.5/5. And the main was chicken thigh with tandoori touch,, 4/5. Dal makhni was not as good as we can expect from any of Punjabi restaurant,, less butter and half cooked dall,3/5.
Overall I would rate it a 3.5/5
Zeeshan Mohammad
Great food, but mango lassi was made of mango ice cream. Good ambience and friendly staff, even after we annoyed the guy. I'd recommend for sure.
Sagarika
It is a beautifully decorated place where everything will remind you of Punjab!!!
They have authentic Punjabi Lassi
Also available are Lassi shots
In food, I had Dal makhni, Paneer kofta and both the things were finger licking good.
Service is quick and good.
Food-4.5/5
Ambience- 4.5/5
Service- 4/5
Value for money- 4/5
Niven Dsouza
Best north Indian joint in the area
Must try malai lassi
The interiors are really quirky keeps you entertained until you get your order
Service is excellent
Food is authentic
Swaroop B R
I ordered something and got something else from ubereats mealforone but still i liked it...it was stuffed kulcha and mix veg sabzi with a lot of raw chilli slices it tasted very north indian style... meal constists of 2 kulcha(4pcs) and sabzi and achaar..
Kashif Raj
One of the most unhygienic restaurant of Bangalore i've been to. There were 7-8 cockroaches running around in my table and I found one running in my arm too. The food served to me was good but not at all hot. The ambiance is ok and the waiters are well mannered.
Bhukkad Vakil
Oye Amritsar is like a doorway to Punjabi/ North Indian cuisine in Bangalore. You enter into a colourful ambience full of wall art, posters and frames with Bollywood written all over it. The loud Punjabi music will hit your ears and the smell of masala/ flavours will fill your senses. The menu is as good as you can expect it to be.

What did we order:

💁🏻‍♂️ Dahi Kebab: Hung yoghurt stuffed along with chilli, coriander, ginger, onion and cheese. Very well prepared with good portion size. The chutney/ dips served alongside was very disappointing and did not do justice to the Dahi Kebab.

💁🏻‍♂️ Sanewal Mushroom Tikka: Stuffed button mushroom tikka. Super yumm and delicious. The chutney/ dips served alongside did not complement mushroom tikka.

💁🏻‍♂️ For mains we ordered for Kadai Paneer, Malai Kofta Kesariya, Dal Makhani alongside Butter Bread Basket (assortment of butter naan, kulcha, missi roti, butter tandoor roti and lachha paratha). The main course was good, but I expected more. The Kadai Paneer lacked the flavours and had little sourness to it.

The entire dining experience was little underwhelming. Nevertheless, their food is well priced and Zomato Gold makes it a great choice.

The service was a little slow and the person waiting could smile a little. A little more effort on creating the right dips for starter and modest effort in main course will surely take Oye Amritsar a long way.

Bon Appétit.
GRk
I visited with friends last month ....food was good but ambiance was ok ....
In food I like the test of dal makhani ......n roti combination was awesome.....

DeoMathew
That was the worst chicken patiala I ever had. Seemed like some chicken kadai and omlette. With tons of random garam masala. Really bad. Why zomato insist that I need to write 140 letters.
Ankush Jain
I went to oye amritsar with my friends for lunch and trust me we all enjoyed the food been served. We used our zomato gold and got a very good deal as it gives 1+1 on main course. Sarso ka saag, lassi , jalebi with ice cream and paneer tikka are the must try dishes. I forgot to click pictures of the dishes as i was busy eating. Overall it was a great experience.

Ambience: 5/5
Food: 5/5
Service: 5/5
