We wanted to try something new but were literally illiterate when it came to pan-asian food. Seeing us struggling to place an order the owner walked up to us and helped us decide our lunch. We had 'Sweet Chilli Lotus Stem' & 'Kung Pao Paneer Bao' and both the items were just yumm and very tasty. Specially Lotus Stem is an unique item and is a must try. It is a small place, self-service type serving healthy food. Recommended.

Its a great place for Bao's, indonesian, malaysian cuisine.. I love Mee Goreng here! And the vietnamese coffee :) Must try! It is just before TOIT.

Amazing Food Experience. Damn Authentic. Tasting Indonesian and Thailand food for the first time. But I could easily tell it's very authentic. The spices, sauces and all other ingredients are imported from the particular countries. Phoenix Chicken Banh Mi had tempting flavors like grass smell and made up of soft chicken pieces with authentic fish sauce/Shrimp Sauce. Bread was thick but not complainable. Nasi Goreng - EXCELLENT AND MUST TRY dish here. Best fried rice ever I have tasted. The rice is mixed up with Sambal. Peanut chutney with Chicken made the fabulous combo. Bubble tea with Tapioca Bubbles - Lovely drink. Good choice for kids it would be. Had a talk with the founder (Chef himself), very nice person who explained about all ingredients. Very pleasing ambience and location. But little noisy due to busy road.

Good pan Asian food! Great service! Prawns were amazing and so was the tao!

Food is yummy. However there are lot of mosquitoes, because the place is an open area.

Good food, amazing seating space. The vertical garden is really eye-catching.

Located on the main Street of Indiranagar this is on of the best places for Asian style food. Cozy set up with a green feel. Must do raw papaya salad very authentic. I loved the Bao , their Philippines style Thai curry with tofu is amazing. Tab Tim Krob if you are a fan of water chestnuts. Great food light dinner keep it up guys. Will be back soon for more.😊😊😊

Best place in Indrinagar for Pan Asian food and viatimine cuisine

The baguette for the banh mi was so stale; it was dry on the inside and soggy outside. The banh mi was missing the best part of a baguette: a fresh soft center and crispy outer crust. Viets don't eat mutton so there's no such thing as a sloppy Viet mutton sub. The Vietnamese coffee was too sweet. The sweetness should only come from the condensed milk. No sugar should be added to this drip coffee. This place should focus more on the quality of the food rather than their high tech ordering system. No one wants to input an OTP. I'm standing right in front of you. Why do you need to verify my order with an OTP?

One of the best Asian food I have ever eaten. Signature dish which are a must try are : 1) Crispy Lamb 2) Tempura Prawns 3) Banh Mi 4) Tab Tim Krob Shall visit time and again .

The casual sitting is so inviting. The food is served in carry or take away boxes which could makes it easier for the office goers and students to just carry the lunch from here. I especially loved that the BMW has so many vegan options .and u can request for tofu insted of paneer in your dishes ... The food was absolutely brilliant , one must try crispy fried lotus stem and shichuan baby corn .. i just fell in love with their dessert made of waterchestnut in coconut milk ... If u haven't tried it yet u dont know what you are missing.

One of the best Pan Asian food outlet in Indiranagar. Good ambiance and very eco friendly atmosphere. Quick service and reasonably priced. Crispy lamb and Bao is a must try

Heard about this place through a friend. The food is something new I tried and it was really good. However the price and the quantity of food is not fair.

This is an exclusive Asian restaurant and very limited options available. The place is well maintained and the ambience is pretty neat. The ease of ordering through the touch enabled computers could be better if the touch response can be improved. The food received is fresh and looks healthy. But I didn't like the food much as the taste was bland to me. Overall a good restaurant.
#sandeepericsson

I ate once here. Decent food.
I am not a great fan of Banh mi as such. I generally like it as it is fulfilling. I ordered a Banh mi.
Decent decor. Nothing fancy.

My love for South East Asian food got me here..

And I would say the food didn't disappoint overall, though I was expecting slightly more considering the reviews this place had got..

Ordered the Nasigoreng and one starter.. the food was above average, though the quantity could be better..

Ambience is decent and it's a self service place
ROMI
Food was average, but seating and ambience was nice, we ordered 4different items, but all of them had more or less the same favour. They should add more options for vegetarians.
Pujita
Nice ambience and a good place to grab a quick, filling snack.
For starters, we ordered the Sweet chilli lotus stem. It was well fried and soft at the same time.
I ordered a Kung Pao Paneer Bao. The Bao was fresh and stuffing was good too. I would recommend this for vegetarians.
We also tried their Chicken Banh Mi. This was not very good. It was dry and I expected it to taste better.
The vanilla bubble tea with tapioca bubbles was a little bland , but I like bubble tea so I enjoyed it anyway.

With great hopes of having good asian food we headed towards this place. Following the google location for this place, we reached near toit but alas we couldn't find this place. Wondered whether location was correct or not and kept calling on all the 3 numbers provided but nobody answered. Took a uturn around the place hoping maybe the place is nearby at a different location.
At the end found out that the place is closed when a security person told this. How disappointed i was. Atleast the owner or authorities should be responsible enough to edit their zomato page to save people from soo much hassle.

Friday evening at 7pm
The two of us headed in for a quick meal. We have visited this place before to have the bao and that was pretty good. That day we wanted to order noodles and so we went ahead and ordered two separate veg noodles- one with samabal as the base and the other with black bean sauce. We also ordered for a papaya salad and two cool drinks. With the Zomato gold offer we got a discount and our bill was reasonable.
The food did not take much time to arrive. The papaya salad and cool drinks came first. The cutlery was forgotten and was brought after we asked for it. The papaya salad had no peanuts and so we called the staff and asked them about it. They gave us peanuts by the time we were half way through the salad.
The noodles came soon enough too and in very large quantities. The sambal was too spicy but the tofu was fresh. The black bean sauce based noodles had a slight citrus flavours which we could not really figure out. All in all even with the gold rewards we thought the food was a bit too oily and not that tasty and would not be visiting again. The papaya salad was the only saving grace as far as flavour is concerned. The bao is something that seems to have sold out that particular day for a big order so it's safe to say I would like to come back only to taste that again.

I have heard a lot about this place from my friends and wanted to visit for a long time. Being a fan of south east asian cuisine, this place took my attention. I finally got a chance and visited Banh Mi with some friends. This place is very easy to locate as it is situated right on the 100ft road of indiranagar. The decor is very casual and in QSR format. The element that gives a green and refreshing touch is a small green garden, beautifully decorated.

I started with some bubble tea with tapioca bubbles tiramisu. Then started for starters.

Starters:Sweet chilli lotus stem- Good but little over fried.Wok tossed crispy Shredded Lamb with Cumin- This was a good one.Raw papaya salad-This salad made my day! It was done with perfection with the right tang and taste.

Soup: I had a soar throat and ordered a Tom Yum Soup. It was mind blowing.

Maincourse:Sambal-chicken stir fried in traditional sambal sauce served with egg fried noodles. It was really nice.Pad Thai-stir fried noodles in Tamarind sauce. I just had a spoonful as I was already full. It was good.Bangkok Magic Thai Curry-spicy chicken Thai green curry served with steam cooked rice. It was quite decent.

Desserts:Fried Banana with vanilla ice cream- A very uncommon dessert but excellent in taste.Tab Tim krob-jellied water chestnuts and Jack fruit pieces in coconut milk. It was a very soothing and soulful dessert. I really enjoyed it!

All dishes were quite authentic in taste. And the best part is all of them are very easy on the pockets.

Would love to visit again!

The place is quite fancy and well decorated. The system of ordering is all computerised and automatic which is impressive. Pan-Asian food is served here which is not very easy to find.

Banh Mi and Wok brings the traditional Pan Asian flavours with a twist right from the streets of Asia!
I have been trying to explore Pan asian cuisine lately and this had to be in the list! The decor is colourful and quirky!

Thai food is known for its spell-binding aroma and a mix of exotic flavours which creates a delicious harmony on our palate.
Crispy fried lotus stem is an example for it! It has a right balance of sweet, spicy and tanginess. This is the best Oriental veg appetizer to start with.

They have Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich made of Baguette. I tried Dau Phu Tofu Banh Mi - spicy fried tofu with chilli mayo and fresh veggies.

For desserts I took Dates Pancake with Vanilla Ice Cream. Fried dates pancake was hot and crispy. Dates had a delicate flavour and thats the only source of sweet in this. I loved this duo!

They have the automatic ordering system just like how we order food online! Hence no paper menu & doing their part to create a sustainable world.

Would certainly come back to try more here!

Went here on a quiet night for a dinner with a group of 5...
The place is clean, pleasing ambience and sufficient seating. Music is non intrusive....
They have a touch screen to order... Might take some time to get used to... Innovative but not really functional...
Food
We started with the chicken hot and sour soup and chicken broth or so... Good quantity... The hot and sour was more on the side of a rasam...
Starters we had the crispy lamb and chicken kung pao.. both were good.. but the best was the pulled chicken... A great combo of chicken and fries in a flavoursome sauce...
Bao- the crispy chicken Bao was lip smacking good, juicy and crisp at the same time... Chunky chicken bits and pickled veggies..
The nasi goreng was the best dish of the entire meal.. the mee goreng was good but not as good as the nasi...
The Vietnamese cold coffee is high on taste but low in quantity..
The pricing may come across as a little steep but the taste justifies it..
Service is neat... A tad slow...
Good place to enjoy some Asian Street food....

It's a tiny bit overpriced. Wouldn't say it's authentic south East Asian food as well. But again you can't expect so much either. Otherwise good , one time experience is ok. Thanks

I wasn't aware of this place until a friend took my along and I am glad I got to eat here. Really good asian food and a very friendly staff. Would definitely go back.

A very cute and inconspicuous restaurant located adjacent to Glen's, right before the KFC signal in Indiranagar. The restaurant serves pan asian food and is a must for anyone craving Asian food, but doesn't wish to go to a fine dining restaurant.
The stir fried dishes are definitely worth going for and are quite delicious.
If you have Zomato Gold, the place is certainly a steal for the price you pay.
Raheel Haque
Great food. The staff is very friendly. The service was very quick. I like the volume of the music and their choice of songs. I think even without zomato gold, I would visit this place, which I think says a lot.
Somanath Achappa
Ambience is OK, ordered some regular stuff you'd order from a chinese/Asian place, which I thought was a safe bet for trying a new place... Chicken was soft and well prepared, but oily... The noodles was oily too, and lacked flavour. I would expect better.
Food:
3 stars. I have visited the place couple of times before but today the food was not great and lacked the quality like before. Even though I had ordered the same dish before.
Ambience:
4 stars. It’s good and quite place to hangout with friends.
Service:
3 stars. Had trouble in placing the order using the self order kiosk and then the delivery took a lot of time. Had to wait for like 20-25 minutes atleast.

This is a small place opened on the ground floor of the building which looks like the ground space parking converted in a restaurant.
Went there for a quick bite on weekend and the place was surprisingly empty on a Saturday lunch.

The place is a self service with self ordering tabs placed on the ordering stations where u can choose yr order and mode of payment.
We ordered for a veg tempura Bao and a veg shanghai noon noodles box. Bao was nice n freshly steamed with nice stuffing. The noodle box was good in terms of taste however the quantity was less and lacked the amount of Vegetables in it.
The place doesn't have parking place and is on a heavy traffic lane so u might have to struggle a bit for parking ur vehicle.

The baos at Banh Mi and Wok are absolutely delicious. They were light and fluffy but also filling. The vegetarian and non vegetarian versions are both good.
The pad Thai noodles were bland and cold when served to us. Quite disappointing.
The highlight of the meal would have to be the crisp lotus stem. It was cooked to perfection.
I would recommend against having the bubble tea here. If you've had bubble tea elsewhere, this will be a big disappointment.

"Banh Mi And Wok" was in my list from a long time and finally got a chance to drop down on the Sunday noon. The place is located on 100ft road of indiranagar and quiet easy to spot it out. It has a casual dining area beautifully decorated with plants. They serve a wide variety of Noodles, Bao, Banh Mi etc.

In drinks we tried Bubble tea with tapioca bubbles: tiramisu. This was an amazing drink served with the bubbles in it and was perfect to taste. The flavor of tiramisu was coming out really well.

Now coming to the starters we had Sweet chilli lotus stem, Wok tossed crispy Shredded Lamb with Cumin, Stir fry tempura chilli prawns and Raw papaya salad. All the items were very tempting and
well prepared. I would like to recommend specially the papaya salad here. They prepare it I'm a authentic way and import all the ingredients from Thailand.

In soup we opted for Chicken Tom yum soup and I was amazed with the taste of it. Perfect spicy with tender pieces of chicken!

Now coming to the mains we ordered Sambal(chicken stir fried in traditional sambal sauce served with egg fried noodles), Pad Thai(stir fried noodles in Tamarind sauce) and Bangkok Magic Thai Curry(spicy chicken Thai green curry served with steam cooked rice). All the items were served to the table on time and hot. The moment i tasted it, I enjoyed every bit of it. The quality of ingredients used in making was upto the mark. Really loved the taste and will highly recommend to try out this place.

In dessert we tried Fried Banana with vanilla ice cream and Tab Tim krob(jellied water chestnuts and Jack fruit pieces in coconut milk). Both the dishes was something which I haven't tasted before. And in the first go only I liked it very much as it was very unique and tasty. Will return again back to have it!

In the city I have never got such a authentic taste for the Asian foods. But Banh Mi and Wok does it.
If you are in search of some delicious asian foods, then your search ends here. Go, get it and enjoy your meal :)
Stomach Ek (by Ravish Malhotra)
After having invited here for a treat by a friend, I was slightly apprehensive about the first as I hadn't heard about this place before. However, after the first sip of my drink to the last bite of the dessert, I was on a food high throughout. The place as such is medium sized and is more of a QSR than a proper dine in. They do have some vibrant colours all over in terms of the chairs used and the place is well lit up. They have a wall full of climbers and creepers through which the name "Banh Mi and Wok" pops out which is quite catchy to the eye.

Coming to the food, I started off with the drink Tiramisu Bubble Tea with Tapioca Bubbles (8.5/10). This was quite nice and light and I pretty much finished it off in one sip. It was quite refreshing and acted as a great base for the differently spiced items ahead. I love the tapioca bubbles and for those who haven't ever tried a bubble tea, just drop in here and ask for one. In terms of starters, I tried the Sweet Chilli Lotus Stem (9/10), Wok Tossed Crispy Shredded Lamb With Cumin (8.5/10) and Som Tam or the Raw Papaya Salad (9.5/10). The lotus stem was nice and crispy. It had a great combination of sweet and spicy going which I absolutely adore. I've tried this dish recently at many restaurants serving Oriental food, but I liked the one here the most. This is because of the size of these, as well as the crispiness and the flavours penetrating deep inside the stems as well. The lamb was also quite nice and also had a little sweetness to it. I would have liked it a little more crispy but overall the taste was nice. The best dish of the whole day was Som Tam or the raw papaya salad. It was complete in every way yet so simple. It was healthy and fresh, and was balanced both in terms of flavours and textures. The raw papaya was grated into long shreds with a special grater and tossed together with chillies and other spices in a special mortar made from tamarind wood. I just loved this, and for the first time in my life I've ever been so much in love with a vegetarian dish. I also tried the Tom Yum Chicken Soup (9/10) which again was too good in terms of flavours. It was clear and light, with big chicken pieces which were cooked to perfection. They weren't just boiled pieced put into the broth in the end, but cooked with the stock such that the flavour again had seeped inside the chicken.

In terms of main course, yet again I was too mesmerised. I tried the Chicken Supreme King Bao (9/10), Bangkok Magic Thai Curry Chicken (9/10), Sambal Chicken (8.5/10) and Pad Thai Chicken (9/10). The bun of the bao was too good and soft. I've tried it a couple of times from different places but this one has to be the best. The chicken filling was also very good and I didn't even look up while eating it. I stuffed myself with this and finished it off in 2 bites. Thai curry was basically a green curry but too delicious. I like the flavour of coconut milk in these curries and this one was one of the best I had. The rice was so fragrant and seemed like Jasmine rice. The combination is too good and I would suggest you go for this if you like rice. If you love noodles however, then Pad Thai is the way to go. Slightly sweet, slightly spicy and with bits of peanuts it is a wonderful dish. They serve it with salt and chilli flakes separately so you can mix it all according to the amount you want, which is again a great thought. The Sambal Chicken although not bad at all, ranked slightly lesser than these dishes. I didn't find anything extraordinary about it, and it was slightly more on the spicy side than anything else.

I had already set my mind on the desserts they serve here because they're all so different and not available everywhere. Thus I tried the Fried Banana with Vanilla Ice Cream (9/10) and Tab Tim Krob (9.5/10). Tab Tim Krob is basically jellied water chestnuts and served in sweetened coconut milk and this was divine. It was very different from the conventional desserts you get and was complete in terms of textures. The jelly on top of the water chestnuts was sweet and soft and then when you bite into it, the chestnuts were slightly crunchy and little less sweet. The coconut milk was also not over-sweet and therefore it was so pleasant and nice. Fried banana on the other hand was slightly sweet. Bananas were batter friend and coated with a caramel syrup which made a great hot and cold combo with vanilla ice cream.

I would urge everyone to try this place, especially those who love Oriental food. I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed and would love to even get suggestions on what other dishes to try.

Positive - Nice ambiance and cozy place
Recommended dish - NA

I was happy to see the self-ordering screen installed which helps customers to order themselves.

We ordered,
Char grilled BanhMi - It was first time I tasted something like this. The filling was good with grilled veggies and tasty sauce but the bun was hard not like the one we are used to eat in burgers.

Saigon - The stir fry with chilly bean sauce served with rice. The box was decorated with cure butterflies and salad. The rice quality wasn't upto the mark and the sauce was dominating the overall taste.

Cranberry smoothie - It was a bottled drink.

Pro Tip: NA

Banh Mi and Wok has been on my to visit list. Finally got a chance to visit this place on a fine Sunday afternoon. This place specializes in South East Asian Cuisine and has a catchy ambience. Just being back from a backpacking tour of South East Asia, I was very excited to taste the dishes here.

And it really lived up to my expectations. Here is the list of items we tried:

1. Bubble tea with tapioca bubbles - Tiramisu falvor: The bubble tea had a nice flavor. However, I felt that the number of bubbles could have been more.

2. Sweet Chilli Lotus Stem: This was the highlight of the day. Perfectly prepared, lotus stem with amazing taste.

3. Wok tossed crispy Shredded Lamb with cumin: Crispy and to the mark! Perfect as a starter.

4. Stir fry tempura chilli prawns: Again, another beautiful preparation. Must try.

5. Tom Yum Chicken Soup: This was as original as it could get. The soup had the perfect authentic taste.

6. Supreme King Bao: One of the best baos I've ever had. Soft and full of flavor.

7. Raw papaya Salad: This was the shocker. I never expected papaya salad to taste so good. The Chef was kind enough to give us a description of the indigenous kitchen tools used for preparing this.

8. Pad Thai: Loved it to the core. Authentic taste and flavors.

9. Bangkok Magic Thai Green Curry: I'm a fan of Thai curries - whether be it red or green. Most of the places don't serve the authentic Thai rice with the gravy. Banh Mi Wok makes it a point to source and serve Thai rice in the authentic way! Fell in love with this.

10. Fried Banana with Vanilla Ice Cream: All is well that ends well. The perfect ending to a perfect meal. This was amazing - banana didn't even feel like banana. It was yum to the very core. Must try!

11. Tam Tim Krob: Must, must, must try here. If you ask me to choose my favorite from all the dishes served here, I'll go with this hands down. Amazing dessert - you might not have had anything like this. The fruits and the coconut milk is an amazing combination!

Extremely happy with the food here. The star of the day was the owner himself - amazing hospitality and decades of experience. Must visit place, which is also pocket friendly!!

Will definitely drop down here again 😀

Banh Mi and Wok, Indiranagar
Positive - Chillout place
Recommended dish - Stir fry

Ambience (4/5) - Located near KFC signal, a few steps of walk led me here. Tables spread in a open space with decent interiors. Parking is available. I liked the chillout environment here.

Food (3/5) - They serve Asian cuisine from Banh mi to Stir fries. Here is what I tried

Char grilled BanhMi - The filling was good with grilled veggies and sauces. But the bun was really dry and disappointed me.

Saigon - The stir fry with chilly bean sauce served with rice. A thumbs up for the presentation mainly for cute carrot butterflies. The rice was average and quality of rice can be really improved.

Cranberry smoothie - Bottled soft drinks were fine.

Service (4/5) - The self order kiosk is Handy and a few taps away I must say. I placed my order from this without any hazzles. Good job guys. The service is decent and staff is great.

Overall, a good place to chillout with average food.

If you like Chinese, Malaysian or Asia cuisine then you must visit this place. I'd been to this place with my friend on a Friday. The ambiance was decent and the service was good. We'd ordered pulled chicken loaded fries, chicken supreme king bao, mee goreng (Malaysian chicken noodles) and fried banana with vanilla ice cream. We also had taken Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai ice tea. All the dishes were amazing and we left the place with happy tummies ;) You should visit this restaurant if you want to try something different and for amazing experience.

Taste: 5
Ambiance: 4.5
Service: 4
Value for money: 5

a very different kind of restaurant. you order up at the counter and it gets served at table. the food was found to be excellent. ambience is cafe like with English pop music playing in background with perfect level of volume for conversations. I am pretty sure I am going to relish the after taste of the food for few hours to come. they did not have soya sauce and the cutlery offered was very minimal. loved it overall. will visit again if passing by.

Dropped in with a few friends for lunch. Quaint looking place. The green wall (with the restaurant's name) was quite a delight to look at while having a meal. I tried the Asian non veg bento ,would have preferred a traditional lunch box or bento in which the dishes are supposed to served, nevertheless the food did not disappoint. It was delicious and light( exactly how you'd expect your Vietnamese lunch to be).
Both my friends tried out the Dau phu Bahn mi and the Pulled chicked Bahn mi. It tasted good ,only they found the bread slightly underbaked.
That said, Bahn mi wok is a great place to dine at. I had a good experience.

Bahn Mi & Wok is a fast food joint for Asian food! Located in Indiranagar, they have a wide variety of Bahn Mi, Noodles, Rice, Baos and other Asian food. They have a self-service system to place your orders. The entire place is well structured and is a great place to grab a quick bite. We tried their Chicken Banh Mi, Chicken five spiced Bao and their Nasi Goreng. The food was served in 10-15 minutes, and were all rich in flavour. We wished that the quanitity served was a little more, but were satisfied with the food. Cost for two is around Rs. 600/-, and would definitely visit this place again!

Been eyeing this restaurant for a while now specially since my Vietnam trip where Banh Mi sort of became my staple food for a week.

Both the name and the place is done quite well but being tucked next to the popular places like Toit and Glen’s Bakery, this place can be easily missed by folks.

Once you enter the place, you realize that its nicely done, quite well lit and inviting. The enclosed ordering section did feel a little odd but I am guess it was designed that way ti avoid outside dust reaching the kitchen. Still felt a little odd.

From Banh Mi being a street food in vietnam, here its got a major upgrade both in terms of place and pricing. Being in Indiranagar they definitely did everything to standout including touch screens for menus.

Their menu has a wide variety of veg and non-veg bahn Mi. There are also other things like baos, woks and other finger food. For drinks apart from the usual you also have vietnamese coffee and tea.

I was uber hungry, so straight away went for the food. Based on their staff recommendation picked up a Pulled Chicken Bahn Mi and a fried tempura prawns bao.

The bahn mi was well toasted and all the ingredients seemed fresh. Was a lil concerned about that since I was the only customer at this hour. However the bao did taste a little underwhelming both in terms of taste and spice. i felt the pulled chicken somehow did not mingle well with the bread type.

The prawns in the bao on the other hand were full of flavor and joy but the bao pita tasted uncooked and dry. I almost felt like I should have gone for my reversed combo - a prawn banh mi and chicken bao. So unfortunately I think I need to pick my dishes better.

Do try them for their freshness. Its also a quieter place to unwind in an otherwise busy neighborhood. I would love to go back sometime and give banh mi another spin. Also they have stir fries and bento boxes which also needs to take my taste test! :)

#WorthATry #IndiTraveller

A good place to have Vietnamese cuisine! Bao buns were amazing and were fresh, the lunch combo is super sized it has a little bit of everything if you're a first timer order this so that you can experience everything at once. The noodles which was served in the combo was well cooked and tasted equally good. The curry was spicy and aromatic.

A nice small cozy place next to Glenn's...This place is a self-service tried the Bao, Pad Thai Noodles and
Schezwan Fried rice. The food was good. Worth a try for sure.

Perfect for a chill lunch outing, quirky ambience and open air seating. We ordered crispy shredded lamb and pulled chicken with fries in starters; with a bubble ice tea to go along. For main course, we ordered noodles with chicken.
Overall the food tasted good. If you are a fan of pan asian food, do drop by.

Really good food, reasonably priced, nice ambience. The display screens for ordering were a bit inconvenient but the staff helped us to navigate and it was a cool way to order.. all in all a good experience. Will visit again :)

Excellent food. Good ambience.. the chef was willing to customize the soup to my wife preference The peanut paneer salad had a good mix of spice , ginger and peanut sauce. Nasi koreng was nicely spiced with the fried egg on top of the rice.

This place is just a very Average option for when you are craving Vietnamese food and Phobidden Fruit doesn't deliver. Tried their Chicken Sambal which was good.
Their Banh Mi was below average. The bread felt and tasted dry and stale. The fillings, ( I tried a chicken and a prawn one) both were pretty tasteless.
Vanilla with tapioca bubbles was the only saving grace. I would probably give it another shot sometime in the future, and MAYBE try out the other stuff on their menu. But the Bahn Mi - Never Again!

Excellent place. We had been looking for a different cuisine to try and Banh Mi and Wok was perfect for its selection from Vietnam, Indonesia and others. The food was very good - light preparation, unique sauces and flavors. The service was of high standards in terms of courtesy and guidance on different dishes. And lastly, the ambience was great (though Bangalore weather also claims some credit to that)

Dropped in to Banh Mi and Wok with a colleague for a quick bite. Tried the Kheema Matar Banh Mi. Pretty decent, nothing to rave about. My colleague who tried the Tom Kha Chicken Soup really liked what she had. All in all, a good place for those looking to grab a super quick bite. Looking forward to try out other items on their menu soon.

P.S. 1+1 on food for Zomato Gold users :)

terrible and over priced. ordered for noodles and chicken..both tasted weird and off. quantity of chicken disappointing

Cute little place, a little hard to figure out at first. There's a nice warmth to the place. The food wasn't extraordinary. Just perfect comfort food. The crispy lotus stems were amazing. The best one on the menu according to me.
Sajid Rahman
The Banh Mi was good. Liked the bread used which had a good crunch on the outside with a softer inside. The Bao was good as well. Wanted to try the Bento boxes but apparently, they are served only for lunch.

The food is real good in taste.. ordered chicken sweet corn soup and tangra chilli chicken..both r good in taste.. would like to try other dishes as well in future
Coffee_n_Muffins (Monideepa Chandra)
the delivery guy is very very rude..he is supposed to deliver to the 1st floor which is the address mentioned in Zomato and he was arguing constantly and asking me to come down to take the order..this is really disgusting and annoying..Not at all expected from Zomato if you won't be able to deliver the food at door step then please stop this service..

Been loving my visits to this place. Nice ambiance(plant wall, artwork on glass walls, spacious), user-friendly logistics and ordering counter, and most importantly, great food. Have tried few Banh Mi's, soups(Tom Kha was heavenly, probably the best I have had in Bangalore), and Thai Iced Tea. The food looks and tastes great. Banh Mi bread was soft crunchy and fresh, all the ingredients used are authentic. Warm staff and owners. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese and Thai food without any frills.

One of the abroad street food restaurants has become a fast food restaurant at this place...they serve Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai.

All the foods are little small plates and wonderful done ...tastes amazingly done and served to fit one person or share...

Personal experience will be wonderful to nourish and say the taste without a doubt..

Try every part of menu and it is done best to suit the Indian style without a doubt...

Enjoy the fast eat dine...

Probably the best place for authentic Vietnamese snack food, in addition to specific Thai, Chinese and Malay cuisine! The ingredients used in the food are much superior to the alternatives that restaurants in the same genre provide. The culinary director of Banh Mi and Wok hails from the likes of the Oberoi, so he knows what he is doing! Banh Mi is tasty, authentic and sufficiently filling. The papaya salad is perfectly seasoned and very fresh, and their Tom Kha soups are to die for! The Bao and Tempura is also delicious and are a must order item. I do not agree with the kind of reviews others have left below indicating that the "taste is not good, etc" or "the portion size is not enough, etc" because those people have obviously never eaten good quality food. I do agree that the price is a bit on the higher side, but it's money well spent for the quality of food provided. Not everything is about portions - what matters more is an attention to detail and superior taste - which is exactly what Banh Mi and Wok provide to their diners and patrons.

Lovely food, open ambience and courteous staff. Portions were large and more than sufficient. The coconut based soup with lemon leaves was a delight. The cold coffee with condensed milk was refreshing. And the food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

The best thing about this place is their way of accepting the order by placing screens at the counter. If you want to try Vietnamese food then you can head towards this place.

The dessert was curdled and spoiled. Ridiculous

Very Very Oily Green curry. feeling sick after eating. soup was good.

Decent if you’re craving Vietnamese food. Price is good👍🏼
Not the best banh mi I’ve had, but since Phobidden fruit doesn’t deliver, this is a close by alternative :)

Slightly disappointed with the Bao's we ordered home yesterday. While it reads well on the menu (stir fry vegetable and 5 spice chicken bao) the stuffing is very little and it was a little dry. So honestly, I can't comment on the taste because I could barely taste the stuffing.

3.5 it is..
We went here on Saturday evening still the place was pretty empty.
Ordering was pretty easy as they had touchscreens and stuff. We ordered for Tom Yum Soup (Chicken), Stir Fried Tampura Veggies Bao, Kalbi Chicken Bahn Mi...
It was pretty good but I felt quantity could be little more... Because in spite of having three things between two people, we felt hungry afterwards. I will say good for snack may be...

Decided to visit this place without any thought because we were hungry

✅Ambiance➕Pretty cool
✅Food ➕was okish , but the quantity was very less for the amount charged!!!❌

I did have network issue that day due to rains,
i did ask the guy at the register to help me with that so that i can unlock my Zomato Gold id

Na he directly refused saying it is not possible for him to do so❌
NOT GOING TO VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!
Ordered date pan cake with ice cream, desert tasted ok but the quantity and the presentation was bad. 😝 Not worth visiting this place since the pricing is on the higher side for the quantity and quality served, there are much better places around that serve same stuff at a better price.

Wanted to try a different cuisine than the regular ones...so decided to visit this place.
The service is pretty decent. They DON'T SERVE REGULAR WATER AT ALL!! They only provide bottled water!! The baby corn starter was good.
The Sweet corn soup was okay. Shanghai noon(noodles) was horrible!!
Way too much sauce!
The Philippine styled curry(paneer) was good.
The vegetable banh mi was not good. Disappointed with the place. Hope they improve!
Happy dining folks!!

Now this place is straight outta marketing books.
They have unique ordering style and pretty fascinating menu. Though sitting arrangement can be an issue on a humid day. Must try their Bao coz its as fresh as it can be.
Food - 4
Ambience - 3
Menu - 4
Service - 5

expensive and okay taste.
Bali
Quite a good looking space, kind of open seating, on the ground floor of a building next to Glens/Toit/Leon Grill.
This place has huge computer touch screens that explain each dish in detail and allows you to place the order and pay up as well. This is nice 👍🏻

We ate 1-2 dishes, at about 7pm, on a rainy evening, didn’t really enjoy a full meal here.
Will definitely come back and order more to explore main courses n their specials.
Inchara Dev
They have computerised ordering systems where you have to place your order by making selections on touch screen monitors, which was pretty cool!
We ordered the pulled mi chicken banh mi and the stir fried tempura vegetables bao. While both dishes didn’t taste good, the bao was slightly better because of how soft the bao was. The quantity was too low to satisfy even an average appetite.

First impression: The seating and ambience are casual. A good place to catch up with close friends, maybe not the right setting for a date or more formal meeting. The staff are friendly and helpful.
This restaurant offers Pan-Asian cuisine, although the menu is primarily Vietnamese. You will have to order at a counter and pick up your own food (although the manager was happy to bring our food to our table when we didn't notice it was ready).

We ordered a Banh Mi, a Bao, fried vegetable rice with chicken and two starters (chicken), as well as bubble tea and cold coffee. The food was reasonably tasty, if a little on the spicy side. Surprisingly, the banh mi was not the best dish, with lack-lustre bread that might have been bought from a supermarket and fillings that tasted like a home-made salad, drowning in mayonnaise. The bao was much better, soft and tasty.

The drinks we tried were terrible, and we left most of ours unfinished. The bubble tea had a deficit of bubbles and a surplus of milk.

Overall, the portion sizes and quality don't match up to the prices (which are standard for an Indiranagar eatery). Go here if you want some spicy, tasty bao but get your drinks at Glen's Bakehouse next door.

I love Pan Asian cuisine and was waiting to eat here. We ordered 3 baos and a starter. They all tasted true to the flavours.
I wasn’t sure if bubble tea will really have tea in it, so to be on a safer side chose the vanilla bubble tea and it was vanilla milkshake with bobas and it was awesome too.
Overall the ambience, the hospitality and taste is all on point!

Tried this place out because it accepted zomato gold. We had the tempura prawns bao and Shanghai noon.I must say it's a complete value for money. It was delicious.
Shashi Kant
Authentic tasting cuisines. Ordered prawn soup and chicken sambal with egg noodles. Soup was refreshing and chicken sambal was delicious. Only thing is prawn quantity should be a bit more in soup.
Rutika Rajani
Amazing food, authentic to it's taste!
Service was quick.

On Sunday it was unusually empty! Don't know how!
Must try place for Asian food lovers.
Delicious food! It was ready and waiting before delivery person came. Loved the food!

This is a QSR located just below Mad teapot beside Glens. The place was empty when we went on a Saturday evening. Quite unusual isnt it? Nonetheless, we went ahead and ordered a Supreme King Bao & Stir fry tempura chili prawns. The bao was quite good with crispy chicken & garlic mayo but the prawns were a letdown. There was too much onion and peppers in the dish and that too not cooked well.. they were totally raw and was not complementing the dish. Pricing is reasonable and with Zomato Gold, it was cheap. Will i return? I guess no.

Small and cosy place with good quality food . It’s a self service place . The food tastes really good and has good quality as well . There is lot of waiting time just to get a drink . We visited when there were no other customer and still they took ages to prepare the food . Outdoor seating during evenings is not a good idea . Lot of mosquitoes. Couple of must try’s are
➡️Mushroom glass noodle salad- extremely fresh
➡️veg panned Bao - brilliant choices of sauces
➡️Fried chicken bau
➡️Kalbi chicken Banh Mi
The bubble smoothies especially the Mango is below average . The Bubble tea tastes average .
Overall it’s a good place to visit and indulge is some amazing Bao and Banh Mi .

Nasi Goreng was almost authentic, with the egg and the satte. Loved the peanut sauce and the prawn cracker.

Beautiful setting. They've a beautiful vertical garden and the interiors are done up well. Funky yet elegant.

Smart ordering procedure. No papers and repeating orders and no hassles. You just have to key in your order at the counter and make the payment.

Ordered the Chicken Bao and Shrimp Pad Thai.
The Bao lacked a bit of flavour and was a little less filled.
However, the Pad Thai was amazing.
Soul food. I expected a little more with regard to the quantity for the given price.

All in all, if you're looking for a quick quiet meal that not only soothes, but also lifts your spirits, Banh Mi and Wok is your place.

Different concept, simple ambience ... Not a great fan of Vietnamese food.. but the chicken salad with peanuts topping was so delicious and something we wanted to order again...
Mohammed Younus (MYFoodMemoir)
If I were to describe this place in one word, it would be "authentic". It's not a typical indianised Asian food, it tastes just like how you would eat in Philippines, Malaysia or Thailand. We don't stay in indraganar and this place was on our radar for quite a few months, one evening we planned and visited this place to our delight. Food was amazing, so amazing we visited consecutive days. If you love Asian food give this place a definite try. From Bows to their coconut curries, I relished everything I ordered.

Especial thanks to chief Arup who understood us and our orders in such an agile and friendly manner.

Some of the recommendations for you all -

Philippine styled curry (my fav without any doubt). Specially love the ways it tastes with the steamed(sticky) rice.

Bangkok magic Thai curry

Shanghai noon

Baos - sloppy Viet bao(was just amazing)
Also try Tempura fried prawns bao.

Drinks - smoothie - mango and strawberry.
Mojito

Note:
The portions might look small, we felt that way when we saw the pics before visit, but to our surprise their quantity was more than enough for a nice complete meal.
If you are going to try - Sambal and Saigon, they are very authentic in its taste, liking is on an acquired taste. ;)

The food wasnt tasty at all. The Banh bun was served cold and hard to eat. The quick bites were good though. All the other items had a very weird taste, we had to leave them in middle.

soup was good, gravy was only okay

I ordered the Chicken Nasi Goreng and Chicken Wings after reading the previous reviews. The Nasi Goreng was hailed as a must-try and authentic..
regrettably it was not. I have no words for the accompanying Chicken Satay and peanut sauce...disappointing.The wings were okay.
I would give this place a rating of 0, absolutely horrendous food. I’d rather go hungry than eat here, probably the worst food I’ve had in Bangalore.
The UnClichĂŠd
I avoid giving bad reviews to restaurants on 1 visit/order alone. This was no exception and after the 3rd order from this place, I gave up. But why 3 orders you ask? Because I love steamed buns and Bahn Mi.

Starting off with the Baos, these are probably the only item on the menu which I could eat without complaining. Decent taste, but way overpriced.

Banh Mi: While the fillings are just adequate and a bit dry, the buns are terrible and the bread consistency is just wrong, and probably stale. Thumbs down for their Banh Mi.

Bubble Tea with Tapioca Bubbles: Probably the worst I have had in Bangalore and there are not many places that serve bubble tea or maybe, they just taste so terrible because they are meant to be like this? Who knows.

Pricing is attrociously high and unless you don't have any other option, which I doubt being in Indira Nagar, stay away.
Shruthivissa
Pedestrian flavour. The chicken didn’t taste like teriyaki at all, just vaguely soya-saucy. Waste of money.
Navaneeth Gowda
Got my food and it was heated in a microwave. Seriously? They had no customers still decided to heat my food instead of making it fresh for the price they charge. Very very bad. Will never ever come to this place again. P.S I GOT TO KNOW IT WAS HEATED BECAUSE THE OIL SPLATTERS TO THE SIDE OF THE TRAY ONLY IF U MICROWAVE IT
. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE EITHER.
Pooja Kadambi
I will never go back here again.
The price is high for what this is and the food is sub par. The service not friendly and not efficient.
They served a vegetarian chicken and half frozen dumplings.
Robinson John Moozhayil
It is pretty decent food. Personally I am used to having Chinese food than Thai cuisine, I found it slight better than average. But very nice place to visit once in a while for Thai and other southeast Asian cuisine. Great customer service.

A small Asian place next to big guns like toit and glen's in indiranagar. A digital way of placing your order which was fast and clear without any confusions. Coming to food, the potato wedges was just amazing with chillies and spring onions. I also took the mee goreng with panner add-ons which was just average as wasn't very satisfied with the panner. The vegetable char grilled banh mi was almost like a sub but with comparatively low fillings. The most I liked was the fried banana with vanilla ice cream which was just perfect. They have very few beverage options.. I took the Vietnamese iced coffee which was just like any other ice coffee. Overall, a decent place for a quick bite.

Had ordered in from swiggy yesterday. The pulled Mi Bhan mi was a mayo overloaded mess. Wok tossed crispy shredded lamb with cumin felt like it... not sure if it makes sense but the meat felt like it was refrigerated for days and was so tasteless. The lotus stem, baby corn and the Saigon paneer were disappointing. We had to add in sauces and recook them (the lamb, lotus stem and baby corn). Had heard so much about this place but was terribly disappointed. Hoping this was a one off bad day. Will add to this review when I build the courage to try the place again.

Came here just to have something to drink (bubble tea!). Decided to order something light to eat as well. Ordered the stir fry tempura chilli prawns, sloppy Viet bao, vanilla bubble tea and the Vietnamese cold coffee. The prawns were excellent. The bao was decent. Was left disappointed with the bubble tea, maybe because the expectations were high. The Vietnamese cold coffee was very decent as well. Was going to rate the place 3.5. However, I really loved the service of the place. The politeness in which they served and spoke to us made me feel very welcome. Will visit again to try some more dishes.

The best chicken wings I have tasted here. Delicious and juicy in the inside, perfectly cooked and finger licking too. This place is famous for pan asian theme food and the speciality was bao . We had ordered Chicken supreme king bao and it was really good. Reasonable price and satisfactory to the belly, a place worth the visit again.
Prem Advani
very very average food.. no where close to authentic Thai food.. the bread was very dry and the papaya salad has no peanuts and was way too sweet.. the green Thai curry is one of the worst had so far.. won'tbe ordering from here again.

Great place for a lite eat. Not recommended for people who are used to Indian Chinese cuisine. Had the Tempura Prawn Bao & Grilled Chicken Salad with peanut dressing: the Tempura could have been better if there was crunch in it and a little less mayo, the salad was good but I'd prefer to have some more lettuce added to it. Overall it's a good experience.

Went here because my colleague was All praise for this place. He was right. The place is definitely worth a visit. Located on 80 feet road, this place serves you some authentic Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.

Ambiance was very lively just like the streets of Thailand, full of color, vertical garden and yellow bulb lamps. Wooden seating, spacious and had a good layout.

We were 3 and we ordered for

Tempura Chilli prawns: Crispy fried prawns tossed with veggies, sauce and spice. This was a beautiful dish. Must try.

Sloppy Viet Lamb bao: This dish is so yum. The bao was so soft, the dough was freshly prepared and the lamb was cooked to perfection. Loved this one too.

Pad Thai Noodles: Spectacular dish. The noodles was long, slender and had this sweetish sour taste. The chicken pieces were tender tasted great with the sauce.

Nasi Goreng-Non Veg: This dish was beautiful. Chicken fried rice, covered with bulls eye ( cooked very well), came along with Chicken skewers and a peanut sauce. I was told, this is a standard dish on the streets of East Asia.

Vietnamese Iced coffee: Tasted good, nothing extraordinary. I kind of related it to the cold coffee you get at CCD.

The prices are reasonable and the food quality is flawless. Would definitely be back here for more. Thanks chef!

Pan Asian food, good Ambience and friendly staff.

The food had good flavors, but still felt something was missing and not completely satisfying
the presentation was good though.

Fairly priced, fair quantity and not very spicy

Loves the mango bubble smoothie and mint mojito was so refreshing and good.

Had been here with office colleagues! Excellent food and the ambience is pretty unique as well. The food being different made the experince a lot better! Would recommend to anyone planning to visit! :D
