Review Nammoora Thindi - Bengaluru

A good hotel where you need to try their different menu options like Neer dosa, kotte kadabu, sabbaki idli etc. With wide variety of menu one can have good breakfast here. Prices are reasonable, averagely maintained hygiene. There are less tables even though those are for standing and eating, no tables to sit and tables. Need at least 2-3 tables to sit. Staff are slow and they have their own confusion while serving.

Good place have a coffee in Sunday evening. Coffee is good for 15rs. It's best place to spend time for 15 to 20 mins in nagarbhavi.

A place with good veg food darshini style. The quality of food is good. But the prices are on the higher side They have few special dishes like kotte kadabu and medhu dosa , sabbaki idli No issues on parking as well as there Re plenty of space on road both the sides.

Had masala dosa and coffee, it was good. Food , service and ambience are good , price is bit high.

Looks like any other darshini but this is special. The food here is special, the neer dosa, the medhu dosa( super soft) , halbai is really special. The service is quick, staff is friendly too. The food is fresh and is made in limited quantities. It’s a pleasure to stand and watch how the dosas are made. Evening time their Bhajji is good. So is the bonda soup. Kudos to the hotel for being very unique and special. I recommend this place for all food lovers. Do like this review.

I have taken Palak rice , Pongal and mangalore buns everything tastes amazing, now a days they are not serving othu shavige and tea is also very good , worth the hype
Anusha Halsnad
The food was decent. I have had better of everything I had here, but it's not bad either. Pongal was tasty with fresh ginger; loved it the best among the dishes I tried here. Curd Vada was alright; would have been better if boondi was used instead of cornflakes mixture on top. Rava idli was kinda bland and masala dosa was okay. The Tampu tulsi bayar was good with a nice cooling effect.
shravan amin
Good place for breakfast. Medhu dosa was fluffy and tasty.

Best known for its breakfast and snacks. If you are around Nagarbhavi this is a much visit place to have a tasty breakfast or snack. Most popular dish is the mrudu / medu dosa, specialty of this restaurant

Ghee masala roast is what you should go and have at this place .. absolutely delicious Dosa with an appropriate quality. The cleanliness is very well maintained in the setup and the place looks very hygienic. How much the crowd is the service is quick so your wait time is not too much. It's located at the junction and you'll find the parking on side streets. * Price i felt slightly on a higher edge * Washrooms available * Juice bar available

Well maintained self-serve vegetarian restaurant on Nagarabhavi main road. They've been here for quite a few years now. Along with the usual vegetarian dishes and meals, they also serve some good variety of desi dishes, which is an attraction and tasty. Almost all the dishes are good here, and my choice is masala dose and coffee. They are closed in the afternoon for a couple of hours and open all 7 days. This place is usually crowded, given the location the restaurant is. But offlate, I find the quantity of the food (especially masala dose) is reducing and the costs are going up. Overall, it is a good option for vegetarian dishes.

A darshini style breakfast place located in Nagarbhavi. Excellent south Indian breakfast at reasonable prices. Parking for cars might be a problem. The Masala dosa, otta shavige and cold badam milk are must haves. End it all with filter coffee. The place is hygienic but getting a place to stand might be difficult on weekends.
Saroj Kashyap
Vegetarian place for a quick eat. No seating available. Inexpensive and tasty. We tried ragi otthu shavige, medu dosa and Mangalore buns. Dosa was heavenly and the other items were delicious too. We paid around 120inr for these items. Definitely worth a visit

Bread dosa must try
Gowri Padmaja
It is a self serving facility open everyday... And the food is very good.... I vie in for the Kesari bath and Bisibele bath always and the Dahi Vada.... Stands out the best always...!!

Idli was very cold not hot, atleast you people packing staff, think twice to supply thro zomato n swiggy , yours idli was like frozen cake!!! At least guide your packing men to be more concerned for customer's, than to quickly dispose off all online orders without customer's satisfaction!!!
JEET SINGH
One of the best South Indian food in this area.. they've a variety of dosas and idli and vada are very good... Plus some filter coffee.. what else a foodie want 🔥
Harish Kumar
Ppl here are arrogant to listen also.. Takes the order and makes us wait so long without even giving an answer to it.. So a good experience
Deepthi Varier
I've had dosa from here a few years back and recently tried it again.. I felt the dosa was way too oily making it greasy to eat.. The taste is ok.. We had parceled dosa and they gave only chutney, no sambar..

I love this restaurant. You will get very tasty breakfast here. I love this restaurant. You will get very tasty breakfast here. I love this restaurant. You will get very tasty breakfast here.

Good darshini for a quick stop shop. Good idly vade & masale dose. But khara bath & kesaribath weren't upto the mark.

Nice filter coffee. On a busy street & easily noticeable.

One of the best place for Breakfast around Nagarabhavi,
Otthu Shavge is a must try, Badam Milk is a Highlight...
Halbai is perfectly made! A perfect place for Family to hang for a Breakfast!

Whenever you are around Nagarbhavi, try out this restaurant. It’s a darshini kinda hotel, so u have to stand and eat. I love the masala dosa in particular, which had the exact amount of crisp. Overall, good taste and a good food experience.

A visit to this place will make you drool over the variety of dosas.
Haven't seen a restaurant cleaner than this. The staff is well trained and the hotel is well maintained.
The quality of food is as amazing as the taste of food.
There are some sweets available on some days, which are to crave for.

Ambiance - 5/5 (mainly for the cleanliness)
Food-4 .5/5
Service and staff- it's self service and the staff is very friendly. So for the staff- 4.5/5

One of my favourite places for good south indian breakfast in Bangalore.

Must try their Masala Dosa, Mangalore Buns and Vadas.

The service is very quick. The place is very clean when it comes to the serving.
Varsha Gopalkrishna
Like any other darshinis, this is a decent place and very hygienic when it comes to serving or even the plates and the place. Right in the center of nagarbhavi circle, very easy to locate.
The dosa is very crispy and one of our dosa was over burnt. They have neer dosa which is very authentic. The coffee has a beautiful traditional taste.

Food: 4/5
Cost: 3/5
Ambience: 3/5

Nammoora tindi is a iconic place to have perfect South Indian breakfast dishes. And also specialist with their own new creations of many delicious food. I've always been a fan of their new and unique dishes. This time I had boiled rice dose, pineapple idly, ragi rotti. The dishes were very unique and had a very new and delicious taste in it. Will surely be waiting for the new change in the menu. Hope that's soon..
Ambience - 3.5/5
Service - self service and pretty quick too.
Taste - 4/5
Vishwas Shivakumar
Namoora thindi is one of the more popular breakfast joint in and around nagarbhavi, go here in the morning and you can see joggers having their morning dosage of coffee and having a quick breakfast. Masala doa'se is one of their famous dish ofc, their medu dosa apt to its name is very soft and goes amazingly well with the sagu they give, this place also has a few local dishes as well, overall its a great place for breakfast
Sudeep Gowda
Good for early morning breakfast, masala dosa and mangalore bajji are exceptionally good, they also serve a special sweet called halbai which is very unique and tasty.
Srimedha R S
I love, love, love the doses at Nammoora Thindi. They're roasted to perfection and extra crispy. I wish they'd serve green chutney, but the sambar and red chutney are just as good. It's almost always crowded, but it's great for breakfasts and brunches.
Foodish Krish'
NT is well located on a busy road and we stopped over for breakfast before proceeding on a long drive
We had idlis, vadas, masala dosa, pongal and filter coffee. Taste was good and found chutney and sambar just about ok. Pongal tasted more like Kichdi as it was served with raita. Loved the filter coffee . Gave me the extra boost for the drive
Quick n efficient service and reasonably priced.
Good for a quick snack if u are in a hurry
Till then Eat well, Digest well , Live well .. repeat
If you are a North Indian , your idea of South Indian food will be entirely changed once you eat here. You can order anything here without any doubts. It will be surely best of whatever you are eating. Cherry on the cake, these people are strict about their hygiene and cleanliness.

This place has always baffled me, the first time I visited this place the food was really good, so I insisted my family to visit this place with me but then food was below average. I was really disappointed. This being said very recently I had an emergency and wanted to grab a quick breakfast, as this place was closer and I was running out of time, I gave it a shot again. And Guess what... the food was not that bad. 😱 I don’t really know what to expect from this place. May be it tastes better when I go alone😊😀😆😁
Auro Dutta
Got parcel. Masala Dosa had very less masala or none at all. The chutney was like water. The sambar was like water mixed with chilly powder. Palak Rice was orange in colour. Pathetic food.

Nammoora thindi
A famous place in Nagarbhavi.
It is situated near Nagarbhavi Circle.
Famous for breakfast items and sweet.
I tried masala dosa, bread dosa and halbai (sweet).
They have many types of dosas such as meedhu dosa, bread dosa , corn dosa etc
A must visit place in Nagarbhavi
It is always over crowded, service is also good.
Service : 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Taste : 5/5
For 2 people it may cost up to ₹150-200

I have been to this hotel a couple of times now, it has a variety of south indian dishes and some special dishes like neer dosa kobri chetney and bread dosa and every day there is a different dish on the menu “ today’s special” and the masala dosa is also a must try and filter coffee is just superb and one small issue is that they only have one person sitting at the counter to issue coupons which forms a queue apart from that i would suggest this hotel to all the south indian foodies to try this.
Shobha Maruthy
Located on the main road this is an easy to find restaurant and gives a typical south Indian dharshani vibe. We had been at the lunch hour and had Lemon rice and Akki Roti with Extremely refreshing Masala Majjige(buttermilk) . Lemon rice was different and tasty unlike else where one would have had. Akki roti was tasty too with different kind of chutney and gravy. These 3 dish was enough for me to conclude that all the items in menu will surely be delicious. The dharshani is maintained neat and the service is quick with token system 👍
Will definitely visit again 💞
Vishwas CR
Such a lovely place! Try any kind of dosas here, you can be rest assured to get the best. Some of the different varieties of food like 'otthu shavige', 'haalbai' etc are just too good.
Ram
I remember it being one of the best restaurant in the area... But the food is soo Horrible now that it feels like a shadow of what it was before!

The quantity of the food is not enough at Al..
Quality is good.
Wayy to crowded In the weekend.
I would not recommend this place if u will want good portions of the food
Gurudath Gurjal
Extremely crowded place that serves delicious vegetarian fast food for quite a premium. Parking is a big hassle. Self-service QSR, quite famous in the locality. The good thing is that they follow token system to ensure service is regularised and there is no confusion. Reach early for a hearty breakfast. Carry your own containers if you want take away and avoid packing charges (10 percent of the order value).
Karthik S.G
Ordered Ottu ragi shavige, bonda soup and Hesarkalu rice. Felt it was overpriced and the taste wasn't all that great.. Hesarkal rice was good but the quantity was less for what we were paying.
Charulatha
A go to place for all the authentic karnataka dishes. They have both authentic karnataka dishes and the usual breakfast ones. Their sweets and masala dosa is my favorite with buttermilk. Any time a lazy morning arrives we head to mammograms thindi. Very well priced. No seating available though.
Ananya R Joshi
The place serves tasty South Indian breakfast.
Open Masala Dosa is one of their best item and something that I Love here.
The Cheese masala Dosa isn't very cheesy, but in the area, it's surely one of the best.
Absolutely worth having here.
Srinidhi Hebbur
Amazing food! Have been a regular here for about two years now..

Just that the sambar and chutney are not according to my preference, they are on the sweet side but tastes good!

Quality of food is something that we can Bank upon over here.

My favourites have been the Medu Dosa, Pongal and the Banana Rasayana.

The Medu Dosa here is extremely soft and served with some amazing saagu. Wish there was butter along with dosa. Unfortunately not all wishes come true.

The banana Rasayana is a simple drink made of milk, sugar, banana and cashews! It's a must Try.

Have tried various things on the menu and these are what I like the most!
Ritu Patil
This insanely popular pure-veg eatery in Nagarbhavi, serves fresh and hot South Indian dishes. Quite a lot of options to try and all of them are really good. If you happen to be a typical Bangalorian then this is a must visit place.
Amrita S
Had been to this place since I had heard a lot about this from my friends. The place was over crowded which gave me an impression that its famous and the food was tasty. We had ordered 1 masala dosa. The dosa was good and tasty but it was overly priced at 1 dosa for 55 INR.

Ambiance: 4/5

Service: 4/5

Quality: 4/5

Quantity: 2/5

VFM: 3/5

Overall: 3/5
Sahana Bangli
This is my fav place for South Indian food and traditional Udupi delicacies!

This is a hot spot in Nagarbhavi to binge on breakfast or coffee after the morning walk.

The Menu is not fixed its written on a display board on daily basis. Do try their special dishes mentioned.

Idli, Vada and Masala Dosas will never disappoint you with tasty sambar and chutney!
I have tried lot of varieties like Bread Dosa, Rava Dosa, Onion Uttappam, Mangalore Buns, Ragi ottu shavige, Akki ottu shavige each one are really delicious.

Halbai - traditional sweet served with a dollop of ghee is a must try!

Ragi Bhayar, Hesarukalu Bhayar, Gasgase milk, Banana Rasayana are few special Desi Summer coolers available seasonally!
Don't miss these super yummy yet healthy drinks.

The prices are pocket friendly. Only downside is that no seatings are available and only self service!

This is a self-service hotel located at Nagarbavi, Bangalore

1. Ambiance – The place is quite good and clean.

2. Service – As this is a self-service darshini there is no question of service. But the items were quickly served like dosa as it takes time to prepare. The have very good process of taking the order of dosas.

3. Taste – The taste is really good considering the locality where this is situated. The taste of this kind of darshini’s are usually found in the south part of Bangalore but this darshini reatains the same taste.

4. Behavior of staff – No comments as this is self-service. But people were good and soft speaking.

5. Variety – There are wide range of items which are available, right from south Indian food to north Indian and Chinese. When I say Chinese not all items are available but very few blended with the staple food taste.

6. Price – The price is reasonably economical. Worth paying for the food.

To conclude it’s a good place and I would not hesitate to visit once again.

Hygienic place.
Good yummy south Indian food.
Also
You get to see a lot of healthy Millet options.
They've a section of sort of healthy drinks.
Always filled with people.
Totally worth visiting.

Food isn't that great, I felt it's expensive I dint like the tase, being taken expensive is fine, but tast less food is what makes this bad choice. You can opt for this is if you stuck with no other choices, I had set dose and quality was really bad chutney was cold so obviously it was prepared a day before or more, we pay for fresh food not old bad food.
Madhu Sudhan
I feel this place is overhyped and is mostly crowded. The food in my experience was mostly average but then I tried the usual quick serving food such as Idly-Vada etc for the fear of having to wait, especially when there's no seating and with the concept of self serving only. My lone experience of masala dosa was a slightly above average but nothing that would make me want to go back. This place is usually the defacto choice when we're visiting panacea / gm hospital or other places closeby and can only eat Veg on those days
Rahul
Really good food. Really bad service. This is the classic example of good product bad service combo. The staff take their own sweet time to cater to the customers. Menu is not fixed, it keeps changing on a board. Cashiers also are rude.
Raghu
NAMMOORA THINDI is yet another darshini near nagarabhavi circle.

The eat-out is pretty good in its appearance. But, it is always so crowded that you never get to see and appreciate the place. But with the crowd being always there, they do maintain a good amount of cleanliness.

The menu items are same as what you see in any other darshini. Benne masala dosa is very delicious. The coffee is also good here. Rest of the items are also good, but nothing great to highlight.

The pricing is on the higher side. Except for coffee, most of the items are comparatively costly. The price of idli-vada is same as masala dosa.

On the whole, it is a decent place. But nothing great to go in search for. If you are around nagarabhavi and have the patience to eat something tasty in a crowded place, you can visit Nammora thinDi. I would go with a 3 out of 5 for this place.
Apoo Rk
Wish there was a sitting area. But the food is always hot and delicious. I love the dosas and the healthy drinks that they offer. It feels like homemade cooking . A great place for South Indian food.
Himaani Ravi
I had been here for breakfast after a 10k run. The place was very crowded and there was hardly any place to stand. This place has no seating arrangement and it is self service.
The food was very good. The Masala dosa and vada was very crisp. The idli was decent. The unique part of the meal was their ghodi dosa which hasnt made its way to the other darshinis in down. It was served with chutney and a channa gravy and was delicious.
Sudhindra Hebbar R
must try:- ottu shavige (akki), neer dose, medu dose, masala dose, halbai, kotte kadubu, sukkana hunde etc

this hotel offers you all udupi and Mangalore dishes and everyday Menu will be change (rice bath and some items).

most of the ladies working here and the restaurant is self service, token system is very good. no seating arrangement so you need to have by standing.

in this restaurant they are not offers you Coca-Cola or Pepsi instead of that masala majjige, banana rasayana, hesaru kallu bayar etc.

please avoid on weekends.
Abhishek Ravindra
The Masala Dosa here is a must try. Bread Dosa is a specialty too. Coffee is good too. Prices are reasonable. Ambience isn't to die for. There's no seating and only tables to stand and eat. Finding parking around might be a problem. But the taste of the food will make you visit there again.
Suprad Parashar
Good food but a little expensive.

For a restaurant which has become the breakfast point for many people, the service is fast and more importantly, the restaurant is clean and hygienic.

The food quality is good but it is a wee bit expensive.
Raghu R
It serves some Authentic Dishes
. Tried Akki Rotti,Masale Dose and medu dose.
Masale Dose tasted something similar to other dharshini's across Bangalore
Bhargav N
Had been there couple of times, the south indian food is really good. The quality of the food is good but the pricing is slightly on the higher side.

Best place for breakfast. Menu keeps getting better. I would have been a frequent visitor had there been a service space. It's all self service and no seating area.
Arun Run
This place is famous for it's south Indian dishes. Went for there for breakfast and had Masala dosa. It is slightly expensive and the quality of the food is good.

Its very much bangalored !! Firstly no seats to sit and hv food ! U got to stand and gorge on ur food !! It serves "thindi " no meals ! Some of de authentic dishes u might have forgotten or relished before can be relived here ! Very clean ! Hygienic ! Self service !

Must try - vada sambar, medhu dosa , akki rotti , by2 coffee , molakekalu dose and neer dosa

Pls do try de sweet "haal bai " made of wheat milk !! Insane !!

Must visit ! Avoid sunday mornings ! Very crowded

Place for masala dose lovers.....mouthwatering fragrance......fast service...........awesome taste.......vegetarian mode..........crowdy place
Keerthan Bhat
Over expensive for the quantity and quality of food.

I have been here a couple of times and once they served a foul expired chutney, have not visited again from that day. You wont get much parking space also, so not recommended at all.
Rohit Narayan
Been there a couple of times . The masala dosa is great and drenched with ghee , I personally think its a little too crispy but it tastes delicious. The set dosa is also good . Nice place to have good breakfast. Its hygienic also
UTHPAL KAKATHKAR
Must try- Ottu shavige. Neer dose. Medu dose. Filter coffee and mangalore bajji. Halbai.kotte kadabu.

Never try- mangalore buns.( It is amoung the worst mangalore buns I have tasted. )

Pros - hygiene. Accessibility. Quality.
Cons- price .Quantity and rush.

This place is very strategically placed and is very near to Shop rite and health and glow.
One thing that I truly admire about this place is the quality of food and the hygiene they maintain .

If you really like malnad snacks then this is the place to be. The food here tastes above average (if not great). It gets really crowded and you may almost regret coming here if you are already hungry.

I would recommend this place for evening snacks only if you are in and around nagarabhavi or if you really want to try out malnad food (they don't serve malnad food every day)
Pallavi Gupta
Went here for breakfast on Saturday. The filter coffee is quite nice. It's strong with not took much sugar, just how I prefer it. The dosa, and vada are nice. Its location is just underneath the Nagarbhavi circle. Under the fly over. The size of the idli is pretty good. And the pricing is also perfect for a quick meal. The standing tables concept works when ur in rush. What's worth mentioning is that the place is quite clean , no flies and left overs lying around.
Sridhar K Adhisheshaiah
Its close to Fortis Hospital, Nagarbhavi

It serves some Authentic Dishes

Tried Akki Rotti,Masale Dose,Chow Chow Bath

Masale Dose tasted something similar to other dharshini's across Bangalore, They did not add Kempu Chutney(Red Chutney), instead they sprayed Chutney Pudi (Mixed Dhal Powder), It was well roasted, and had a stuffing of Palya(Potato Mixture), It was thin,Crisp and oily,Taste was Above Average, It had lot of Oil,i had enough quantity of Palya.

Special mention should go to the chutney they served, It was very tasty. No similar to the normal coconut chutney, but something different from others

Chow Chow Bath(Combination of Kara and Kesari Bath)

Quantity was very less for 50rs price, Taste was average, Kara bath was less spicy and Kesari bath had enough sugar/sweet content to finish it off.

The best dish I tasted was Akki Rotti, Two in no's, It was well mixed with Onions,Coriander, fried peanuts. They served it with tomato gojju(Tomato Curry) and Chutney.

It was not hard, soft to chew,Not spicy, every bite we get a fried Peanut and gives that extra taste to the Rotti.
Gojju was too Sour for me,so asked for a extra cup of Green Sagu, which was not good with Rotti, So finished it off with Chutney

Overall a nice place, good ambiance,Its Ladies who serve here at the counters and we must appreciate there effort
Shreyas Sastry
Good breakfast available. Their Neer Dosa is amazing. The coffee is also super.
If it's available, try bread Dosa. Totally unique and amazing.
Deepak Rao
I had been to this place for breakfast couple of times, never justified with the ratings given over Zomato.
Mostly crowded place may be because its quite clean and no other better pure veg restaurant nearby.
Taste - Idly Vada - Tasted okay not great though, sambar is too sweet and a very average chutney.
Masal Dose is good., Mangalore Buns dint really taste authentic.
Ambience & Cleanliness - Looks quite good and neat, if they can add seating could be a added plus.
Price - Its definitely expensive for south indian dishes, quantity is very less.
Overall nothing much to talk about this restaurant or to spread a word about it.
Sukruti Raj Surya
They have only south Indian but offer a variety thats not available in other restaurants.. The only draw back is we have to stand and eat. They are slightly expensive and give smaller quantity compared to other south Indian eat outs, but give good quality and tasty food. Love eating here
Donnie Brasco
This is one of my favorite veg restaurant in Nagarbhavi area. As it's name suggests they serve authentic homely food. They serve a variety of dosas which is a must-try. Other dishes are also upto the mark. They serve pretty good coffee also..The prices are reasonable only. Overall a pretty nice place to have a refreshing meal...
PS:- The place can be really crowded at times...
Vishal Bharadwaj
The only place i feel that serves good breakfast in the proximity of this locality. Their variety dosas are unique in their won way. Well made Mangalore Bajjis and buns. Crispy vadas and what not. The place is average clean. Management is should become little bit more responsible i suppose. Prices are light on the pocket. You pay for what u eat. Ambiance is as same as any normal Darshini in Bangalore
Ambiance: 3/5
Food: 4.5/5
Staff: 4/5
Value for money: 4.5/5

The place opened around 10-12 years back was a oasis in a desert for good food those days. However now lot of new players in the area...
The food is way beyond excellent with the chef taking pride in serving only the best. You are bound to be delighted with whatever you order.Be it the humble idli/vada,dosas of all varieties,upma/kesaribath,BISIBELE bath, pongal, bonda or the mangalore buns.. U keep asking for more...
Has ample parking space, always crowded..must visit.
Service efficient..
Hygiene can be improved and staff need to blabber less while taking orders
Way to go pet..keep up the good work

In a nutshell, this place has become a landmark for this area and has been serving yummy dose's consistently would definitely recommend the dose here !

It's a busy darshini restaurant very popular in this area serving traditional south Indian food. The food here is top class and has people rushing to this place every other day. I would recommend the dose and coffee from this place which were the only things I had from this place ! My friends had different south Indian delicacies and were pretty impressed!

The service is smooth and quick. Quite commendable that it handles such a huge crowd on a daily basis.

Improvement area: it can definitely improve the hand wash area which seems like it is not well attended !
Sandesh Mahalingappa Bhavya Gupta Hn

Authentic village food with a simple menu and very reasonable price. Have tried almost all the items in the menu. Dosas and rottis are recommended.

I'm sure you all have eaten masala dosas at a lot of places but I bet you none of them were as good as these. Nammoora thindi serves up some of the most amazing southern Indian delicacies at their best. This restaurant is located off magadi road and in the most happening place in all of nagarbhavi. I had been here at 9:30PM and was surprised to see the restaurant crowded even at odd hours such as these.
The food here is just exceptional. I had ordered a masala dosa, neer dosa and Mangalore bonda. The masala dosa was the highlight the meal, being crispy and golden. Unlike other restaurants, the dosas here are made with ample amount of ghee hence making it very fragrant and mouthwatering. Sweet grated coconut was served alongside the neer dosa in an authentic manner (something you don't see in a lot of places), Mangalore bonda was spot on. The service is very organized too. I'll definitely be back to try out their bread dosa and more!

This place is not just another Darshini as it serves some authentic Mangalore/ Kundapura breakfast items. Probably this Darshini should be named Nam mangaloora thindi, in my opinion.

The Jackfruit idlis, Haalbai, Mangalore buns, neer dosa are some of the atypical items available here and they taste really good! The Haalbai and Mangalore buns are so well made, the jackfruit idlis' taste vary depending on the kind of jackfruit used. The Badam milk is another reliable option.

The other items like dosa, idly are as good as any other Darshini and the pricing is similar to other Darshinis in Bangalore. The service is moderately quick, and I have barely ever been served something that was cold, which is a sign of good darshini in my opinion!

Breakfast
Idly taste great
Pulao good
Medu dosa must give a try
Mangalore buns don't miss
They even have cold drinks called as bayaru as called in kundapura
They have got Ragi bayaru, rasayana , hesaru bayaru , which are as authentic as in costal karnataka

Somebody had recommended this place for Jack fruit idli. So when I was that side decided to pay a visit as it was the Jack fruit season too.
But sadly there was no Jack fruit idli but the rest of the items were just yum!

This place had the best Neer Dose I've had anywhere in bangalore! Masala Dose was also delicious. Kesaribath was ok.
The only thing I didn't like was sukkina unde. But I guess that's a taste you acquire.

It'll be rush as this place is quite famous and is at a busy street. Only complaint is there are no places to sit.
Do give it a try.

I've been going crazy over this place! Have visited here over 20times and have tried almost their entire menu. Located about two kms from my place this place has now become a common dinner place for me and family as it serves one of the best masala dosas and need dosas!!! A joint opened right at the entrance of nagarbhavi off the outer ring road a well lit and a neat fast food chain with well docketed system during the peak hours for service! If you are looking for some scrumptious dosas and are nearby , head to this place without any doubt! Hygiene needs to improve! Coffee is yum too!

Aha...I had been to this place long time back and still remember the dosas and Badam haalu that we had here. I had been with two of my friends say around 4pm and we were all hungry.

I actually wanted to eat Idly; my all time favourite. Hot hot idli and sambar but my friends just gave a stare and so we ordered three different dosas - Masala dosa, Paneer masala dosa and meddu dosa. And I must say all just tasted yum.

And to drink we just bought one badam haalu but we liked it so much we ordered 2 more.

Speaking about the place it is Darshini style restaurant but very well maintained and is heavily crowded! Service is also quick.

So to rate food, service, value for money and ambiance it will be - 4.25/5.

That 0.25 is for my favourite Badam haalu!
Large number of options. Always crowded. Most dishes are good esp Mangalore buns and some variety dosas. But nothing great or out of the world.

I am regular at Nammoora .. from last 2 years. I like there Udupi items : Mangalore buns, Neer Dose, Halbayi etc

Ambiance - 3.5 / 5 (Spacious enough)
Price - 2.5 / 5 (Tad high)
Quality - 2.5 / 5 (Sambar is overspiced)
Quantity - 3 / 5 (Very small cups to serve chutney, sagu etc)

Overall regular items like Dose, Idli are just fine and oily. There coffee is good. May be too many items to eat and there is nothing special they serve to customers

This place was quite a discovery. I love their dosas, the curd rice, the many peculiar beverages served cold in tall glasses, the punctuality and a semblance of order found lacking in other darshinis.

What I don't like about this place is the murderous amounts of ghee/oil that goes into making everything. It's preposterous. Can't anything tasty ever be made without clogging your arteries with ghee?

Nammoora Tindi is my each weekend breakfast get away. Masala dosa here is to die for. Steamed rice noodles are next best thing. Among my favorites are Mangalore buns, shavige bath, neer dosa. What's makes me go here time and again is hygiene.

This is the place where you should be eating sunday breakfast😂 the masala dosa here is soo yumm. Really crispy perfectly roasted, and smells soo good. And the medu dosa is also my favorite. Idli's are fine. The halwa and the other sweets are not so good. The vegetable pulav is good. It's definitely worth a try.

This place is located in Nagarbavi, and is famous for Mangaluru Buns. I read a lot of positive reviews about idly and Dosa, but really didn't impress me. Idly wasn't upto the mark, as I've had far better ones. Vada was crisp and good. Dosa was oily, but not worth it. You can visit the place for Mangaluru Buns and coffee, the coffee is good. Parking is an issue especially for cars. Neat place and hygienic. Even the Khara Bath is good.

This is one of the best karnataka fast food restaurant I have ever been to. The place is always crowded, over the weekends you can find it over flowing. One needs to have little patience to wait in queue for your order. But it is worth every penny and every minute you spend. The masala dosa, rava idli, coffee , bisi bele bath, the variety of dosa are very good. Special mention about mangalore bajji and halbai, they are just melt in your mouth. If you are in this area, this is worth a visit.

Talking abt the place, its always buzzy and you gotta wait for certainly 15 mins to get your order. No sitting. Self service.
Taste is brilliant. Masale dosès are amazing here. Must try out. It is over-priced & quantity is low. Quality wise, no compromise though.
In sweets, you gotta taste "haalbaai" once. :)

Badam milk & raagi Bayer would be a perfect ender. :)

Nammoora Thindi is kind of a life saver for most of the people in Nagarbhavi Neighborhood. It’s one of the early restaurants in the locality, which is serving some amazing food. I visited few years before for a breakfast and totally impressed, especially you should try Idli Sambar – For Samber they use mini onions, which give a unique taste to complete dish. I wasn’t happy with Dosas here for some reason. I also tried the Thali, which is totally value for money. There are few north Indian dishes, which I don’t have idea. The place is always crowded, since this is the only good restaurant for good food with pocket friendly prices. I will recommend this restaurant any time if you are in Nagarbhavi.

Most definitely the best dosa place I've ever had food at.

I would consider myself a dosa enthusiast, and for me to give the aforementioned statement is a really really really big thing. I am absolutely in love with the masala, plain and set dosa here.

Being a resident of nagarbhavi I visit this place quite frequently. They have a wide variety of dosas and the masala dosa is the best of the lot because of its texture, crispiness, masala and filling. The chutney and sambar which come along with it are mouthwatering as well. Though it's priced at 45 it is definitely worth the money. They also have Mangalore Buns, Dahi ( curd ) vadas, idly vadas all of which are really good.
This place is heavily crowded on Sundays and its very hard to even step inside.
Finally, awesome food, good service and decent ambience.

Yesterday evening was my 3rd visit to this place..It's one of the best thindi (snack)place! The best masala dosa( so crispy along with potato n chutney),Neer dosa(yummy),Ragi dosa,Mangalore buns and the snacks which you will not find in any other place like Banana rasayana( my favourite),Tulsi juice,HalBai( sweet) so soft n tasty,Gasgase milk and the strong filter coffee...If you are around Nagarbhavi please don't miss this yummy place..worth the visit! Worth every penny!could not give 5/5 cause they don't have stools or chairs to sit, very difficult for elderly people and kids need to be carried while eating..standing and eating becomes very very difficult! It would be nice if they have few stools so that it will be very helpful..!
