Guru green gardens This is a neighbourhood restaurant located in Bannerghatta Road exact opposite to Dmart. This place has a lot of greenery around & has private cabin like setup for dine in amidst the greens. As the name suggests, it has gardens in between & also has a nice play area for kids. It serves both veg & non veg food options with lot of variety & has a reasonable & economical drinks(both alcoholic & non) options offering colourful cocktails & Mocktails. Had mushroom chilly fry, paneer chilly, peri peri chicken wings, veg Shanghai fried rice. All of it tasted really delicious. In desserts tried their fried Icecream & is a must try. In alcohols their LIIT was definitely worth the try. Their service is very hospitable & the place has a beautiful ambience. Definitely a must try place with your friends & family. Would love to visit again. This place is also suitable for various occasions & has wallet parking available.

Overall experience is good. The food quality and taste is good but when we ask for particular dishes mentioned in the menu was not available at that particular time (around 6 to 7pm) and coming to service it is not so good experience as they must taken care of abit. The play area for Kids and open place to have our dinein under the huts.

Mutton biriyani bit dry but tastes good, chicken tikka didn't have that taste as other places but it was decent enough to have. Parking and spacious sitting are the advantages of this restaurant. During the evening too much mosquitos. Service is fast and they are very attentive. Overall i would recommend this place as i have been earlier as well and the other dishes were really good. They do have a small play area for the kids which is something most of the families look for.

Nice place to dine out with friends and family. Better place for those who wanna have drinks. Separate huts are there for privacy and open tables are also available. Candle light dinner is best opted here. Totally worth visiting here. But prices on drinks are too heavy over MRP. Other than this, everything is fine.

Good Restaurant. We liked the ambience. It’s gives a private sense. A small cabins like space. Coming to food. It was good too. We had Panner Tikka, Kaju Masala, One Chicken Starter, One Baby Corn Manchurian. Taste was good for all the items. Quantity was good as well. I personally felt it a minute expensive when compared other restaurants of same stature hence 4 stars.

Really secluded but the ambience is more kind of a Thekka (bar) than a family restaurant. It is not a typical family restaurant. You can go here with friends and family as well it is kind of mix of both. They play old disco songs that doesn’t go with the ambience but who cares. Coming to food it was decent nothing extraordinary but it was good. The waiter seems to be unaware of the menu and one even asked us to go to nearby restaurant to get what we are ordering. Overall an OK experience.

Great place with lots of open spaces and privacy as well. Good food and not so expensive drinks. Kids will love the play area with slides and swings for them to have a good time while adults also get some time out. Lots of parking space and good service and food. One of the most underrated restaurants in Bangalore, very nice ambience with tasty food. Ample parking facility for two and four-wheelers. Bar attached restaurant . Food quality can be better for the price . They took 15 to20 min time to serve you the food . They have separate hut type outdoor seating area which can give you privacy if you are with friends and family also have Ac seating area. Honestly, I thought this wasn't a nice place to visit or to have food. But I was so wrong. Thus place looks old and shady from the outside. But like they say, never judge a book by its cover. It's a shame it is underrated. This place has greenery all around with little ducks roaming around the lawn. The outdoor seating is so cool and well maintained. There is a play area for kids. The service hall is pretty huge and well maintained. It also has a bar. But the best part about this place is the food. I went out with my non vegetarian friend. But he loved the food from here. He said this place has some really good vegetarian food. I was totally in love with the pepper paneer they served. I felt the portion size was less but it was truely amazing. The manchow soup was good too. The noodles were half fried but the soup tasted great. We even had a vegetable biryani. It was great. Pepper paneer is highly recommended. If you are tired during a sunny day and somewhere nearby just go to this place and relax in the outdoor seating they have and enjoy some drinks and food. Gives you a resort feel.

Close to nice road and definitely one of the easily accessible places to visit. Good ambience and great staff are exactly why I would like to visit this place again. Being a vegetarian, I have tried many of the starters and they definitely are great. I haven't tried their breads or main course, but have tried their fried rice which is good as well.

After researching for a long time about dhabhs in Bangalore, finally decided to visit Guru Greens. This dhaba is very spacious.<br/>It had both indoor and outdoor sitting.<br/>All the starters are very tasty including veg and non-veg.<br/>But the main course is not pleasing. The Biryani tastes like masala rice and the lemon soda is horrible.<br/>If someone going in groups and enjoy some drinks and snacks, it would be great place.

Great ambience. Good place for half day outing. Really loved the place. Coming to food, food was delicious. Had been here for lunch. Its a very peaceful and environment friendly place to hangout with your friends. The service was really good, they were very friendly. Good ambience, you’ll love this place especially when it is raining. But the food is not so great it’s very much disappointing. Alcohol is reasonably priced so that’s a plus point. The veg seekh kabab was so pathetic but the manager was kind enough to cancel the order. Tandoori panner was half cooked so we had to ask them to redo. French chicken almost tasted like raw chicken. This will be really a nice place to visit often if they could improve on the food.

Since the time we moved to Bangalore from Hyderabad I have been craving for that spicy dhabha style food in an open air space - Since I belong to Maharashtra I have been used to eat spicy food (veg as well as non veg) in dhabhas etc. And after a long time Guru Greens was a place which could meet our expectations in this sense. Yesterday post lunch when me and hubby were thinking what to cook for evening he started searching for Dhabhas in Bangalore and came across this place. Quickly without wasting time we read the reviews, saw the distance from Indiranagar and thought of having the dinner there. Since it is far from the main city area we left early and reached this place around 7pm which was a decent time to reach. Got a table in their garden area which is decently made up and given a natural touch with all the trees and huts for dining public. Note: They also serve liquor so if you want to have liquor with spicy food then ofcourse choose this :). Once we got a table we quickly ordered their Tandoori  Veg Platter(since hubby is pure veg ;)) which had paneer tikkas, palak aloo tikkas, Veg Seekh Kebab, Gobhi, Mushroom with salad and chutney. Also not to miss masala papad. Both the dishes were tasty. The tandoori platter was perfectly cooked and the spice level was superb. They were fresh and yes quick too in bringing the order. Masala papad never goes wrong but still I loved their papads a lot. Next we weren't that hungry after finishing that platter papad and beer. So we settled for basis Paneer Butter Masala along with butter rotis and garlic nan for husband. Main course was also very tasty and our hunt for that perfect dhabha food is over and this is a go to place. <br/>Their washrooms arent clean at all so gave that feedback to the staff. Also since it is garen they have placed mosquito coils at proper locations which helps in keeping away the mosquitos so you need not worry. Good place for food and drinks atmosphere is very ambient... but I wonder how management is so careless in allowing the couples who have been sitting in next table to us are smooching and making out in public... next time I would not recommend this place for families... Looks can be deceptive!! The perfect description for this place!! From out, looks like a very ordinary looking restaurant, but once you enter, it is something different altogether. Greenery all around, the huts give you your own space and privacy, atmosphere is calm, its spacious. We ordered Peanut Masala, Pepper Chicken, Chicken Manchow Soup, Mushroom Chilli, Chicken Chettinad & Fried rice. Except for the fried rice that was bland, all other portions were spicy and lip smacking.Definitely, visting this place again!!

Went here for lunch. The place outside was full, so we sat inside. It was musty and hot. They arranged for a cooler and we were comfortable after some time. We had Guntur chicken, Chettinad chicken, ghee roast, and tandoori chicken here. The starters were delicious and so we filled our stomach with only these. The best was Chettinad chicken, which was spicy and tasty! We had four starters, each of which had 8 pieces and the total bill was around 1800. However, most of the dishes we ordered wasn't mentioned in the menu card since we asked the waiter to recommend. Good place for decently priced food, but then the ambience is a let down.

The last of the Guru trilogy on bannerghatta road post the reliance mart. Nice private tables with their own enclosures. Classical Andhra food extending the same formula to everything else on the menu. Nice place to unwind, if you venture out that far.

The food used to be amazing for the price paid a couple of months back. Then these guys increased the price to where it doesn't seem like good value for money anymore. The ambience is great, the interiors are mod (except for the bar with a swarm of locals). The restaurant should either rework the pricing structure or add more quantity (I would prefer the former) to increase the value for money.

A few meters before the nice Road junction on bannerghatta road this place offers a calm and quite environment for a few beers and some good food. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor seating booths are huge and very spacious, some booths can even sit a company of 15. Chilled Fosters beer on the tap is a welcome sign and the food taste is average. The staff is helpful and service is quick. They have a small play area as well for kids. A great place for a quick meal and a few beers.

I had a chance to order food yesterday evening from Guru Greens. I was very hesitant as I haven't had a great experience ordering food in and around some bannerghatta restaurants . This was a splendid surprise. The food quality, taste was outstanding and we felt light even after we had heavy meals. The spice was just right and the food was superbly tasty.

located just before NICE road on Bannerghatta road... which many would consider as far... the look from outside resembles a dhaba...which i assume it was once ... once you step in you wouldnt believe if it is the same place which you saw from outside... the ambiance is like a posh dhaba(the isolated hut concept)... pricing will become BFF with your wallet... coming to the taste and quality ... i have so far tried most out of their menu... i fell in love with their tandoor,chicken tikka and guntur chicken ... been here a million times and have never had a bad experience with food... service so far has been good... and you get tap beer to assist you with the food you consume ;p

Nice place to go if you feel lazy to cook at home over the weekend!! I have been there twice for dinner- with Family as well as with friends. There is a big dine hall as well as outdoor sitting area where you can go and enjoy with your friends in big group. All were absolutely lip smacking. Being a vegetarain, i was very happy and contented after finishing one round of starters. Though my friends ordered few non veg starters too.. Egg Fried rice and dal was in the order list, menu item that one must always try across the Guru chain. For a change i tried veg Kadhai with naan. Well this is one of the best places to visit I make sure I go one a week the food is just amazing , especially the entrees which are just fab the vegetarian gravies need work but others are really good and a good dining experience I suggest you order gunture chicken which is just beautiful one of the places to visit

So we had ordered from this place after all the helpful reviews from others.<br/><br/>We ordered the following and also mentioned are the reviews:<br/>Spring rolls veg - absolutely yummy fresh and hot<br/>Veg sheekh kebab - so so<br/>Chicken tandoori kebab - very well marinated and cooked<br/>Veg guru green - I wanted the gravy, they gave some dry sabzi... Don't know whether we miscommunicated or they misunderstood. Tasty but dripping in green food colour.<br/>Chicken guru green gravy - Very well cooked chicken<br/>Chicken biryani - Tasty, huge portion and really good chicken<br/><br/>Overall taste wise, definitely a place we would order again from.<br/>Now for time to deliver - When we called, we asked the guy for total. He said he'd call back with the total. We received a call after 20-25 mins for directions. We gave them, asked about total and he said that the delivery guy would leave in a couple of minutes. The food took another half hour to deliver. So, close to an hour. <br/><br/>Food quantity for the price - definitely more than worth it<br/><br/>So would reiterate other reviewers... If you are super hungry and want the food delivered super fast, sorry buddy, you have a long wait ahead of you. But if you want good food at a budget and don't mind waiting for it- definitely worth a try - especially the chicken.

After a long drive and a trying day from Whitefield we were craving for good food and entered the right place.<br/>The food is Delicious and very reasonable prices for all dishes.<br/>The special Anjaal fish tossed in Masala is Delicious and worth the try. <br/><br/><br/>G.G special chicken is must Try with butter Naan.<br/>The open ambiance is a good place to chill as well.

Editing the review and rating.<br/>This place has stopped thinking about its customers. I was a big fan of Guru Greens but no more. I ordered for home delivery and this is not the first time they sent the kebab with bones and charged the full amount inspite of me telling them that I need boneless, being very well aware of the past experience. The kababs were not up to the mark and full of oil. Andhra chilli chicken was pathetic. The quality has gone down the drain and the service suckss bad. Trust me....I have high expectation with this place and it never disappoints me. First of all, it has ample parking space. Talking about the food, they have a good variety of kabab's and each one of those tastes really good. They are succulent and spicy. They serve the best kabab's in the BG road stretch. I loved the ambience after the renovation. A good family restaurant with good food and children's play area and good service. It cant get any better than this, in Gottigere.

Nice bar and restaurant on this road bit heavy on the pocket. Food is good. Good for 5+ people. Nice starters for drinks. Place to hang out with friends

Hello folks!!!<br/>About this place, ambience is OK ok. If you are sitting in the park area, get ready to fought with mosquitoes!!!! Yep, they are horrible here. Coming to foods, I liked the taste and cusine here. Tandoori chicken is good, tasty juicy with proper marination, peanut masala, falls in acceptable range. Shooted chicken is good with the style of bbq. Service is very slow here. Its our regular delivery place for weekends. Nice food decently priced. Daal makhani and tandoori chicken is very nice. We always get the delivery on time.

Good ambience. Average food. Poor service - one of the senior folks there did not let us sit in a place of our choice and made us sit in a smelly corner despite very skeleton presence of customers. We were regular customers here. Now, we have decided we will never visit as they do not treat returning customers with priority.

Nice place..if you are looking for hangout on sunday afternoon.. then this is the best place .<br/><br/>They have some distinctly different seating areas.. one is outside which is mostly open and Another is a completely enclosed space.<br/><br/>In the menu there is limited stuff however if they served whatever they have there with more taste & wholesome way there is no reason this place should not do a roaring business!

Nice place to hangout if your going with a people of excess of 10. Snail type of service when I had been there but the non veg was exceptional various starters are available. Service is bit of a problem.
