I have been there long time before.but I remember there is good people for service and food also very good .
We had been here in a group after work some days back for a colleagues birthday celebration. Barbeque and drinks are a perfect match. Cocktails are pretty impressive and food was a total show stopper. Highly recommended to everyone.
Good ambience . Competing restaurants offer complimentary cocktails or mocktails, which is missed out here . The food is also very mildly spicey which gives its unique taste.

I rate this place a 5. Reasons are for Ambiance, Service, Dining space, Pricing, Food quality and taste. Live BBQ is at your table and variety of dishes on your plate will make a perfect meal. Veg BBQ meal is more prominent and delicious over Non-Veg. Main course has some authentic Mediterranean food. The top class is the desserts section with nearly 10 types included. Perfect place for a happy tummy.
Sea lions bbq is a good place serving chicken, fish, and prawns as starters in non veg. However even liked the watermelon bbq too. Main course is not a good option to try. Neer dose is must try. Deserts are in plenty of options so save place in your stomach. My recommendation is to try PAN roll ice cream, people who love PAN and supari will fall love in with it. On the whole sea lions bbq is a good place for starters and deserts. Loved prawn deep fried and watermelon bbq.
The serving, food and ambience all was good bit should decrease the prices of buffet from maybe 750 to maybe 650

Today lunch i went to this place, it's was so crowded and I felt to the buffet was amazing, I had everything covered from starter to dessert, you must try tandoori prawns, grilled fish, and paneer Dil bahar. It's one of the superb dish and I also order some drink like LIIT, Cosmo, high voltage cocktail it's was amazing, and I skip the live counter bcoz my tummy was almost full, I went to dessert you must try the fruit tart & paan ice cream and the service was also excellent being such as crowded.

Perfect place for tasty and quality buffet food for family, friends and team. Concept is similar to Barbeque nation. We went for team dinner close to 20 members. Friendly staff and service was really good. Starters, main course, live chat, Live mexican taco and burrito counter, Live Dosa corner and dessert options was yummy. Particularly our team enjoyed Neer Dosa with sweet cocounut and chutney and with non-veg curries a lot. Overall Pleasant experience. Please try out once. I visited this place few weeks back, took the veg and non veg buffet and the experience was amazing.. the staff was so polite and humble, the ambience was great, the food tasted amazing and specially the deserts were phenomenal.. although the non veg was not displayed at that time because of the less consumption but the staff was so humble and polite that they did gave me the main course seperately.. overall it was an amazing experience 😍♥️

We had an office party at Sea Lions and we had the unlimited buffet for dinner. The variety of kebabs they offer is amazing and the taste is equally great. The main course included Biryani which was pretty great too but the kebabs certainly are the highlight here. Coming to desserts, there were at least 7-8 types and they were really good too. This place is great for team lunches and office parties and I’d definitely want to visit again.

It was 'the' occasion..what else but our anniversary💝. Now every person has his or her own concept of celebrating their anniversary. Some like it secluded and romantic🥂, others like to have a grand party🎉 but we love to celebrate it with a lavish buffet with close family🤗.
After a lot of permutations and combinations🤔, we zeroed upon Sea Lions BBQ♨️ & Grills in Jayanagar. As it was on a Sunday lunch, reservation was utmost required and just zomatoed 📲it instantly.
The place is very easy to spot, on 🛣️ Marenahalli Road. It is located in SFO Hotel and Suites, just beside Apollo Cradle. Parking 🅿️wouldn't be an issue. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel. There could be a minor hiccup reaching there as metro construction work is in progress.🚧
The ambience was soothing. We were a tad early 🕧and had the whole restaurant to choose our seating. Sofas 🛋️were comfortable and the table height was just ok, neither too high, nor too low.
The concept follows the name of the restaurant. Its a table top grill service for starters. But first we were served mutton shorba. 🍲Okayish.
Then our starters followed. All the grilled items were superb 👌but they also have other starters served directly on plate.
Starters
Chandani chicken tikka : ⭐⭐⭐
The usual chicken tikka.Had it with mayo. Nice and okayish.No idea 🤷why it is chandani, no er...sandalwood flavor.
Peshawari fish tikka : ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Exceptional. A tinge of ajwain and jeera, the 🐟fish was grilled evenly, no sogginess or raw flavour, melted on the tongue. 👍 I never needed the mint chutney.
Tandoori prawns : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Initially the spice level was high with the tangy, fiery taste of tandoor. But on our request, we had the spice levels soothened and by my word 🍤..was it awesome! I had it with the 🍯honey garlic dressing. Amazing flavors combined. Easily the standout dish in the buffet by my reckoning.
Popcorn prawns and fish fry : ⭐⭐
Batter fried prawns,fish. Didn't meet expectations. Could have been crispier. Perhaps too much batter made it soggy inside.
Mutton Seekh kebab : ⭐⭐⭐
Was cooked well, soft and bit spicy. But i felt it lacked the touch that makes mutton seekh kabab such a royal dish on the plate.
Chicken Kalmi Kabab : ⭐⭐⭐
The pepper flavor was dominant. But🍗 the chicken drum sticks were little dry. Mint Chutney saved it.
Main Course
The smartest thing done by the restaurant is they have less items in main course🍱. Usually starters fill the belly. So i had just half a bowl of their delicious mutton biryani with raita. But they do have some asian and indian curries 🍲along with noodles 🍜and indian bread apart from biryani. I'm sure it must be equally good as the starters.
Dessert
The dessert spread was okay. Mango phirni and ice cream 🍨were good. Didn't try any other desserts though as I was full by then.
Verdict
Its a nice place to have a delicious sunday brunch with family and friends. Although the concept is the same as other bbq table top grills, its the service at the restaurant which makes it🤩 special. A word of gratitude to the staff who took excellent care of us. 😊💖

Recently had been to sea lions for office party and found the place very cozy. Well decorated, neatly spaced and good lighting. It was buffet we ordered. They have both veg and non veg options in buffet which has BBQ served at table and few at buffet spread or call it as live counters, where they prepare and serve instant. Food is good and buffet has almost 70+ items at the cost of 700/- approx. Per person.
Buffets are the most common and appropriate choice these days for a perfect dineout. Different minded people can agree over buffet which serves many cuisines/items under one roof.
Well this place is the best buffet I have been in jaynagar so far. Amazing spread of menus! You will get almost everything - from Tacos to dosa, Pani Puri to pastas and etc.
Staffs are good and service is pretty fast too, but only problem I faced was the ventilation, the space is little compact and I could not see proper ventilation due to which you might feel smoky during barbequing.
In starters, I really loved their Kalmi kababs and prawns pakodas. In the main course, they had multiple options in gravy items which were really good. Their dessert section too had some different items which you will not see in every menu like Fruit tart, moong daal halwa.

🍴Mutton shorba ➡️ The mutton shorba tasted amazing. It was hot and spicy. Good amount of lamb pieces were present in the shorba.
🍴Paneer tikka stuffed ➡️ The paneer tikka tasted amazing,it was very soft. The paneer was well coated with the cashew nuts.
🍴Bahubali prawns ➡️ The Bahubali prawns was an authentic Andhra cuisine which was cooked well and very spicy. They tasted amazing.
🍴Nati chicken varuval ➡️ It is the indigenous chicken which was well loaded with some great masala. They were a little spicy yet one the best starters.
🍴Tawa fish fry ➡️ The tawa fish fry too was excellent. The fish was soft and perhaps the most spicy among the starters. I loved it.
🍴Kakori Chicken kebab ➡️ The Kakori Chicken kebab is the mughlai cuisine. The Kakori was very soft. The spies were perfect on them and they tasted good.
🍴 Amritsari fish tikka ➡️ The Amritsari fish tikka was soft and tasted good.
🍴Broc cheese balls ➡️ The cheese balls were pretty good. Although it wasn't loaded with lots of cheese. They tasted good.
🍴Crispy corn ➡️ It was the conventional crispy corn which was provided, they tasted just above par. They weren't much chewy either.
🍴 Tandoori stuffed mushrooms ➡️ The tandoori stuffed mushrooms was the best among the vegetarian starters that was available at the restaurant. They were loaded with good amount of masala in the outer part of the mushroom. The mushrooms were also loaded with some good stuffings inside them too.
🍴Fruit chat pine ➡️ They were the grilled pineapples and watermelon that were provided. I loved the watermelon since it was very spicy and tasted good.
🍴White penne pasta ➡️ The white penne pasta was amazing. It was cheesy allover and the pastas too were cooked exceedingly well.
🍴Mutton dum biryani ➡️ Mutton dum was good. It wasn't much spicy.
🍴Lemon tart ➡️ I loved the lemon tart among all desserts at this restaurant. The lemon tart had great fillings inside which tasted amazing. The tart too was good.
🍴Black current pastry ➡️ The pastry tasted good.
🍴Pan ice cream ➡️ There was an option of customisation of the ice cream. They had served me their Special Pan ice cream on which I put some white chocolate chips.
🍴Side winder ➡️ The side winder cocktail tasted good. The presentation looked absolutely bliss.
All in all sea lions is definitely a place which has great desserts, food and cocktails. The restaurant charge around 750 for a non veg buffet. Which is not very expensive for the quality of food, they provided. They have a big range of desserts as well which are fresh and tasted good.

Sea lions bbq and grills is located on 5th floor of SFO hotels with a lively and variant decoration with blue and red colour. There is a sitting space for around 100 people. There are tables for every group size varying from two to fifteen people. They serve lunch and dinner buffets. Went here on a weekend with some friends for dinner buffet.
The service is remarkable. The staff is friendly and approachable. They have a sufficient variety of dishes for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.
Starters: We had Spinach and Cheese Rolls ( absolutely delicious and my favourite in starters ), Crispy corn ( 1st time it was salty but on complain they changed immediately and 2nd time it was perfectly crunchy and flavorful ) , Paneer tikka ( paneer stuffed with crushed nuts and BBQ ) , BBQ pineapple and watermelon ( a delight as always ) and BBQ veggies ( great in taste ).
Live Counters: I had Pani Puri, palak patta chaat and dahi Puri chaat. All chaat were amazing and mouth watering. Also tried Alfredo Pasta and it was creamy and delicious.
Main Course : I am a salad lover and they offered a great variety of the same. Along with this I had Hakka noodles , pita bread ,Veg Hyderabadi (scrumptious), nachos and salsa. Veg Biryani was appetising.
Desserts : No meal is complete without some marvelous desserts. They have a limited options but all varieties. I loved steaming hot Moong Dal Halwa and orange rasgulla. Tried their vanilla ice cream with choco chips and hot chocolate. It was a delicacy.

Sea lions is a rooftop buffet restaurant located on the top floor of SFO Hotel. Interiors are grand and gives a feel of a restaurant in the US. Now a days there are lots of options for barbecue and grill buffet but sea lions holds a unique position in them. The uniqueness comes from their vast spread of menu apart from the regular grills. The menu is more rooted towards Southern India which is what I really enjoyed!
Grills and skewers were served on the table on sigree just like other bbq places. The grill items were well marinated and were done the way they should be. Among the starters I loved:
✅Chicken Kalmi kebab: best of the lot
✅Peshwari Fish Tikka: very soft and moist, so need to grill a little longer.
✅Pepper Chicken: Very crispy and done with perfection
✅Spinach and Cheese Rolls: too good!
✅Crispy Corn: My all time favourite
Taco: Crispy taco with a great veg filling
There were live appam and dosa counters as well as chaat counters. I tasted the masala dosa as well as neer dosa, both were great.
The drinks menu is also very elaborate. Some of beverages that I loved were:
✅Dragon Twist: too good. Its made of mango, cream and coffee, must try.
✅Virgin Pina Colada: again very good!
After so much of food, there was little room left for main course. So I just tasted a spoonful of mutton biryani and it was delicious!
In desserts, I loved their moong daal halwa as well as the pasn Icecream.
Overall I was greatly happy after the meal. Food was really good and so was everything else. Pricing is probably at par with the peers.

Sea Lion is a buffet restaurant located in Hotel SFO. The location is prime and the place offers decent interiors and ambience. The seating is comfortable and the decor on the walls gives a feeling that we are dining inside a ship deck. A beautiful restaurant with a nice theme.
Their food is also very good. It's worth mentioning their hospitality, which is outstanding. What I also liked about this place is that despite of all what they offer in the buffet, the cost is not exorbitant. So, they have kept this in mind as well.
Their mocktails and food is superb. I especially liked the raspberry fizz, peru pyala and dragon twist. We also had other special drinks like ginger mango twist and margarita. All the drinks were really very tasty and refreshing. I enjoyed the drinks.
In food, we had so many options. They have many live food counters and we can choose what we want to eat depending on our taste. They have various cuisines in all those counters and that gives a choice for eeryone in a group or party.
Mexican counter had the tacos which were crisp and authentic. I liked it.
Dosa counter had neer does and masala dosa options. It was good to see a South Indian food counter.
Chat counter had delicious palak chat and many more options. It was good.
Pasta counter had all good Italian pastas. It was authentic and tasty. I loved it.
The grilled food was served on the table that we can ourselves grill to our taste and make it accordingly. This is an delightful concept of barbecuing and adds a lot of fun. Sea Lions BBQ and Grills is a newly opened BBQ restaurant in Jayanagar by and in from SFO Hotels and Suits. They serve North Indian, Chinese, Mughlai, Mexican and BBQ Cuisines.
Location: Located in Jayanagar 5th block. The place is easy to locate as it is on the main road. Sea Lions is on the 5th floor of Cable Car Restaurant/SFO Hotels and Suits.
Ambience: The ambience is lively and colorful. You will feel like you have entered some place with an American theme. It feels great to dine in here.
Food and Beverage: There are more than 70 items to have in the buffet of Sea Lions including Soup, Starters, Salads, Main Course Veg, Main Course Non-Veg, Chaat Live, Dosa Live, Pasta Live, Pan Asian BBQ Live, Stone Ice-cream & Desserts. They even have live bar counter which serves drinks cocktails and mocktails. I'm going to share the experience of the items I tried.
Cocktail:
Long Island Ice Tea: It was strong and flavourful. I liked it very much.
Soup:
Drumsticks Shorbha: It was spicy and good in taste. It had soft drumsticks and had a unique taste of shorbha.
Starters (non-BBQ):
In non-BBQ, I tried these starters: Crispy Corn, Mex Chilli Fries, Spinach and Cheese Rolls, Chandani Chicken Tikka and Carved Prawn Flakes. All the starters were good. I liked Crispy Corn and Carved Prawn Flakes the most. Mex Chili Fries could have been better.
Starters (BBQ):
I tried Paneer Florentine, Tandoori Grilled Vegs (Zucchini, Broccoli), Fruit Chat-Pineapple, Watermelon, Tandoori Mushroom Spinach Stuffing, Apple, Methi Prawns, Periperi Chicken, Stuffed Kalmi Kebab. All the BBQs were lip-smacking, I especially liked the Pineapple, Tandoori Mushrooms and Stuffed Kalmi Kebab.
Salads:
I tasted Peanut Masala and Corn Salad, both were fresh, flavourful and healthy.
Main Course:
I was so much amused by Starters that I only tried one item in main course i.e. Neer Dosa + Kayi Hoovu, I had it for first time and liked it very much.
Desserts: The options in desserts were also plenty. I had Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Walnut brownies, Lemon Tart and Fruit Bowl. Except for Lemon Tart which tasted a little weird, everything was good.
Staff and Service: The staff was courteous, they made sure that there is no mixing of veg and nonveg items, they provided different plates and grills for veg and non-veg items. The owner was also super active and made sure that everything goes right, he also took feedback positively.
Value for Money: The price of the buffet is very reasonable, Lunch at ₹ 675/- and Dinner at ₹ 750/-.

One of our fiend invited us for dinner at ‘Sea Lions BBQ and Grill’ last weekend. I am a big fan of barbeque and was anxiously waiting for the gourmet experience, especially after going through some very nice reviews about the place on Zomato !
Being cognizant of the magnitude of spread and variety of food offered at Sea Lions, the table was reserved for quite early in the evening, but was surprised to see the place gushing with people even that early. We strolled the place while barbecue grill was being setup at out table and tried the live counter, which had a variety of options to choose from like chats, dosa, pani-puris, palak papdi-chat to name a few. The made-to-order pasta was delicious and we also liked the exotic palak papdi-chat, which was very different from the normal papdi-chat that is usually served in restaurants. And within a few minutes - there it was, a grill setup with an amazing choice of barbecues from Stuffed-Paneer Tikka, Mushrooms Stuffed with Spinach, Exotic Vegetable Grill, Barbecued Water Melon and Pineapple. Our table in-charge made sure that we even tried each and every specialty @ Sea Lions, which could not otherwise be easily spotted on the menu. Apart from the live grill on the table, we were served specially prepared Spinach-Cheese Spring Rolls, Veg Kababs and Crispy Corns. Everything was delicious, especially the ‘Crispy Corns’ which were out of the world and 'Spinach Cheese Spring Rolls’ which were indeed very unique and quite rightly signature to Sea Lions, as you won't easily find them elsewhere in Bangalore.
After eating so much, we were barely left with any space for dinner. However, we decided to have a look at the spread, which was again spectacular - with a wide variety of Indian and Continental dishes. We took some Vegetable Biryani, Dal Makhni & Paneer Hyderabadi, Egg Curry, Vegetable Raita, White Rice & Rasam - everything was delicious and rich, complemented with the freshly prepared breads, served on the table. There was also a delicious spread of salads to choose from, I personally like the Peanut Masala & Okra Salad, which were very unique.
Last but not the least, we tried a few dishes from desserts section - which was again an enormous spread, leaving us spoilt for choices yet again. I settled for the Mango Ice Cream, Gulab Jamun, Cham Cham, Gulkand Barfi, Chandrakala and Fruit Tart. No surprises, every dessert was prepared to perfection with love.
We will never forget the customer delight & hospitality that we experienced at ‘Sea Lions’, and would definitely recommend the place to everybody - and ideal buffet place from personal & professional celebrations & get-together.
