Good food... Decently priced... I m sure I will go back again... The masala pulao was so yummy... And paneer Tikka was also good. .. tomato soup was so yummy.... Papad was also really good... Only thing is service is slow and late.... But food is really good.
It's a Good family dine-in. The food shows perfect spice and especially the dum aaloo it was worth a second time!
The staff are very attentive and polite but the place is a bit busy during the dine hours
Decided to give this place a try when I was in Jayanagar recently. The biriyani was the best dish. I also liked the methi paratha. All in all a good place to try north Indian dishes.
Great food and great location also.. So tasty and temping the food is and staff is also very polite. My new fav place. Awsome place to dine with family👨👦👧👩👴👵
Been here for Dinner with family. Food which we ordered was avg and nothing special was in it. It is just like optional veg restaurant.
You can try once if you have no other option. As in every Punjabi restaurant, Lassy is good to taste.
My ratings are here.
Food 3.5/5
Service 4/5
Ambiance 3/5
Location 4/5
Overall it is an avg category restaurant.
Ever want to experience authentic Punjabi Cuisine in Bangalore then dont forget to visit Punjabi Rasoi. The flavors enhance so well with meat and coomed perfectly with right amount of spices to tingle your taste buds.
Favourite dish - Chicken Malai Tikka
Dont forget to try it out
We have been to this place earlier, the food was good but due a mixup in part of the order with another table that too on a crowded weekend we had to adjust.
But today almost closing time of afternoon, the staff welcomed us but had limited choice from the menu.
The food was good, tasty and hot. We had roti, aloogobi, and mixed vegetable kohlapuri.
The service was good, courteous staff.
My only suggestion please use melmoware plates like other eateries which is more hygienic.
Open ceiling displays air conditioning ducts, electrical wires, etc. The management could do well with rewamped ceilings to attract more trendy crowd.
Soothing ambiance, ordered Paneer Makhanwala & Punjabi Bhatinda Kofta which turned out to be great, dal tadka was awesome too but dal makhani failed to impress. Stuffed kulcha was worth, and staff was very courteous as well. Overall a good experience.
This place is good when u want to eat good vegetarian North Indian food. Ambience is good, food is good, but service is average. Overall, a good place for vegetarians.
food was delicious. but the quantity of the starter was very less as compared to price charged.
Soft drinks r mentioned online but was not available for delivery pls mention what is available only in the online menu so there is no confusion.... Else food is very good
Found this place late in the afternoon. We were really hungry and tired after doing shopping, it was late around 3.10 in the afternoon and took a chance to go there. Luckily was open and still taking orders.
I think it was first time didn't check the reviews of a restaurant before going and after tasting the food was not thinking why I didn't check it.
Food was good nice punjabi taste good spices in this part of India. It's really hard to find good North Indian restaurant that too pure veg. Really a good find.
Now starting with ambiance there was nothing special or appealing there. It was ok, there was front part of truck was kept in one corner (not original one) and it was there reception kind of. This place looks old and not very well maintened even though there was a good footfall even at late afternoon.
Sitting arrangement was basic, like normal chairs all around and at the end beside the truck 2 tables for 4 person each with sofas. But there is a catch the sofas are too low for the tables kept so you can't relax and eat. Ine has to climb the table 😁. Also the condition of sofa was very bad and some of them were fixed with transparent tape.
Coming to food we have ordered one of there speciality it was a kofta and one Paneer dish. After having first bite we were not disappointed with our choice. Both Vegetables taste different looked different. Quantity was also sufficient for normal diet persons. We were 4 and 2 dishes were enough for us..
Considering price we payed for the place felt little more specially the Indian bread(roti n all). Normal roti price was Rs 50 around.
Additional information - there is valet parking available and its very helpful as the restaurant is on the main road with no dedicated parking.
Suggestion for restaurant - please maintain the property.
The place is really decent and good ambience. The waiter are really good and relaxed. As it's more about Punjabi style definitely the after your meal you feel more heavy. The quality of food is really good. But I feel this place is bit expensive as it is located jaynagar. You can atleast visit once and try it.
Thank you
Frequently visited place for good filling lunch or dinner. The tomato soup and corn gravy be the best here. The staff are very caring and the place is great for family lunch.
Cheers to the team :)
Would love to visit again!
Good Food, good taste to keep you full and satisfied. Nothing out of the extraordinary. The usual Punjabi dishes. We ordered the Paneer Pudina Tikka, Mushroom Tikka, Paneer Cheese Tikka and Subz Sheek Kebab. The first three were good, but the skeek kebab felt a bit undercooked. In the mains we ordered the Roti de basket and Mushroom Masaledar & Paneer Tikka Masala. Nothing to complaint about here either. We also had ordered the Pudina Shikanji and Jal jeera Pani, the Shikanji was the best thing of the evening and would recommend it to all.
If you're looking for a Punjabi Resturant minus kookad shookkad type non-veg then your search can end here. We had ordered Masala Papad, Sweet lime Soda, Pudina Shikanji, Kesaria Lassi, Family Platter for starters, Paneer Lababdar, Tandori Roti,Naan,Kulcha. The food is yummilicious. However, don't expect too much in terms of ambience and service; there's too much commotion in that aspect. There's a panwala just outside the enterance incase you like some sweet pan post food.
P.S- That Pan isn't free of cost 😁
Ambiance
Simple.
Starters
Tried Tomato soup - tasted ok and Dhal palak soup - I personally did not like much.
Family platter - Will serve for 3 people, tasted decent enough. Nothing much to complain..
Masala papad had too much onion to my liking. Also it became soggy within minutes.
Main course
Ordered roti tub - Had 6 varieties of roti in it. Some pieces were burnt. No phulkas available.
Vegetable kofta and panner side dishes were ok. (Less oily)
Jeera rice and dhaal was good.
I liked the moong dhal kichidi.
Overall a good option for family gathering. Valet parking is available. Feels like value for the money spent.
I had no expectations on the quality of the food, as o expected restaurant to supply as usual rotis n sabjis. But have to say sabji’s were authentic punjabi flavoured . We tried Paneer Lababda and I can the taste still resides on my tongue.
Prize is bit costly, but worth a visit if you are bored of eating normal North Indian dishes.
amazing North Indian food
Ambience: 5/10
Food: 8/10
Service: 8/10
Nice place for vegetarians. The Punjabi food here is nice and the rest of the food is also good. The sofa seats are awesome.
Great place for authentic North Indian food. Paranthas, biryani and kesar lassi are recommended. When you don't want to think too much about where to go, you can surely go here. You won't be disappointed. I'm not very impressed with the seating arrangements, though.
I wnet for lunch at punjabi raswada it was awesome
Lassi starter and main course it was fabulous
Thank you punjabi raswada....
Plz open ur more branches in Bangalore
I would ideally give this restaurant a 3.75 rating. The ambience and cutlery is not great. The service is decent but not the greatest. The food on the other hand was very tasty. It was hot and freshly made and they have a good variety in their menu.
Very close to the Jayanagar bus stop (near Cool joint), this is a place with good vegetarian food & service & a decent ambience (i distance myself from family restaurants so!). We ordered a Manchow soup, a veg tandoor-ed kebab, chana masala, a kofta curry & a jaljeera to finish off. I loved the quotes by gallant freedom fighter hung up in the wall - who does all this these days anyways! There is also a Truck inside the restaurant - like literally! All in all a good place with good food.
Nice food with friendly staff. The food quality is good. Nice soft music is played and the ambience of a modern dhaba is given. The thali is full with different variety of food and quite reasonable also.
I have been here multiple times. Food service is really good. I tried paneer dishes with daal, rice, chapati, deserts, jaljeera and a lottt moreee. All dishes tasted so good. Must visit place for food lovers. The staff is really courteous. The truck thing and the ambiance actually makes you feel like you are sitting in 'Punjab'.
Cheers Guys..!!

One of the best veg restaurants in South Bangalore. Had been there multiple times.
Whether it's taste, service and price. I would rate them the best and the most value for money in the area. They used to serve Panak in he past which they do not have now. I recommend them to add it back to the menu.
This place is good for vegetarians, I liked them better when they had started..
The variety is nice and also the taste.
Quantity is good too..

Even on a Saturday evening, the place was not very busy. The ambience was gloomy and old. The menu has a good variety of punjabi food. Paneer varieties are extensive.
The service was prompt and very good. The staff were quite and calm. Not very talkative.
Quantity of food is adequate for 2 ppl. They were very good. I wouldn't say delicious and yummy. But they weren't bad either.
You could go there for a quite evening with your family. A casual dining.
A nice place for veggies. Plenty of options to choose from and each dish is damn tasty here. We tried butter roti, kofta, lassi, mix veg, dal tadka, aalu chat, masala papad and few more.. All were awesome except for the sarso da saag, which was a let down considering its a punjabi restaurant.
Ambience: 3.5/5 - Decent ambience. Feels like an upgraded dhaba which is quite good. Menu was attractive. They have tried to work on the interiors but definitely there is scope for improvement.
Service: 4.5/5 - Quite fast and a big thumbs up considering the crowd there. The serving time was quite less compared to many restaurants. Staff were welcoming and very polite.
Food: 4.5/5 - Half marks for the sarso da saag. Except that the food was wonderful. Definitely a place where I would like to visit again.

Very nice ambience, tasty food.We ordered tomato dhaniya shorbha, some corn and aloo starter.Kulcha with Kadai, biryani.Clean and finger licking food.Don't forget to have mint khara lassi, it was just delicious.
Located on the busy 11th main, but they provide valet parking, so that is not an issue.
Ambience is decent, but service was extremely slow. We went early and were only ones in the restaurant for a long time, but even then it took quite long for them to serve is starters and soup.
Food was good and and Paneer was extremely high quality. Soup was a little watery and the main side dish (mixed vegetables) was fairly good. Rotis were soft and fluffy. Deserts are slightly overpriced, but good.
Overall, a nice place to visit once in Jayanagar.
Visited this place on a Sunday evening liked the ambience. Most importance thing for a restaurant is food that is definitely good up here. Went up there to get the taste of Makai Roti & Sarso da Saag it was quite good but not upto the expectation as I have heard lots of praises. Other than that every about this restaurant is right food, ambience and service. One point of concern is that service is little slow hence a waiting time between starters and main course. All in all very nice place with some really delicious food.
Located in jayanagar 4th block with valet parking..This place is ideal for a vegetarian punjabi meal..Decent ambience and very polite staff..Their lassi was yum and the Paneer butter masala was very tasty..
Visited this place. Cool ambiance. And the food is
just Delicious. Ordered Saag and corn Mirch masala, curd rice, jeera rice..yum yum yum yum...
