Review Olde Bangalore Resort & Convention Centre - Bengaluru

We stayed here for the New Years. Kids and adults enjoyed the place. The staff took care of our needs and made sure we had a good time. The resort, tents, game area and the garden is maintained very well. It was a great start to 2024. Gala dinner and music was grt. We played lots of outdoor and board games.

The staff at Olde Bangalore Resort deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. Every member of the team was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. Whether it was arranging for my transport, assisting with my luggage, or providing recommendations for nearby attractions, their professionalism and warmth were truly commendable. The accommodations at the resort were equally impressive. I stayed in a spacious and well-appointed cottage that was tastefully decorated and equipped with all the modern amenities one could desire. The attention to detail in the room's design, along with the comfortable furnishings, made me feel right at home. Additionally, the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire resort were impeccable.

Peaceful place near to city. Buffet dinner is with limited choice but of good quality. Breakfast spread was good. We had booked 3 luxury tents. However, toiletries provided in each tents was different. Like one was provided with toothbrush etc not the other two. But since we stayed for only one night it dint impact us.

It's a nice resort nestled in a quiet village near the Bangalore airport, Stone Hill School, Padukone Academy. It has got all you can look forward to for a nice family or with a friends outing. If you are looking for an intimate wedding ceremony also, this place would be ideal. The food is excellent, service superb. There is a lot of greenery around. The accommodation is in a twin, three or four sharing tent accommodation with all modern amenities (A/C, Heater, clean wash rooms, clean linen etc.) Though it's a tent , it's fully secured just like a room in a hotel. They have a pool and pool side restaurant. Apart from this they have party halls , restaurants built in Kerala style buildings with a courtyard and all.

We visited this resort just for Dinner. Loved the ambience , the food was prepared from their vegetable produce so it tasted fresh and yummy. Very courteous staff with quick service. I would definitely visit again .

While the concept of going back to the days of yore is great, the discomfort not having air conditioning can be a deal breaker for most. Food on the other hand is great, those chicken sausages are something else! Would highly recommend the place for those who do not need modern conveniences, the camping ground facility is definitely 👌 If you want to get away from it all and revisit the past this place is it!

The staff are 5 star...very warm, helpful, attentive, ever smiling and ready to helpout. The resort is well kept even though it is quite old, so that is impressive. Its kept sparkingly clean and organised. The brick facade and simple interiors adds to the charm. The food is very regular, so a 2.5 star for that. There is an opportunity to go to the neighborhood Ayurveda setup for an authentic Kerala massage...which is excellent. Overall a nice quiet time spent.

I conducted an experiencial leadership workshop at Olde recently and i was reminded of how awesome the Olde team is. It was a very busy day for them with a marriage and about 200guests but we got such good service that I was amazed They worked with us till late night and from early morning to set up the gear for our program in their cricket ground. The food at Olde is delicious and everything is made inhouse even their muffins breads sweets etc. Their eco-friendliness is evident from their building, their rooms and their methods. Close to Bangalore airport, it's location is convenient especially when we have outstation participants. I greatly recommend this place for events.

We stayed in suite tent facing garden. They have maintained the old charm with some additions. If you want to experience to stay in a tent with all other amenities, then this is the place. Staff were courteous, greenery was eye soothing. It's close to the airport and you can go out to eat. Over all a nice stay

Olde Bangalore is a nice and quiet resort which is on the outskirts of Bangalore. This is off Bellary road before the airport toll booth. We booked tented accomodation which was air-conditioned. It was spacious n had a sitout. The TV was old , however there was cable network available. The breakfast buffet was very good. Had dinner as well which was a-la-carte. The food was good, however service was slow. The property has a large swimming pool n several indoor games - TT, Badminton, Pool, Carrom etc. There is sufficient place to walk around - inside the property and the adjoining gated layout. All in all, a good weekend getaway.

We liked the stay at Olde Bangalore . Location - no far away from the city. Easily accessible. Good roads . A lot of greenery. Well maintained . Rooms - We took the tented accomodation. It was clean with all basic facilities provided. Comparable to a 4 star room in the terms of in-room facilities. BUT ! The only reason why I gave a 4 star is , though clean , the bed sheet was torn. These are small things that they need to pay attention to as it sends a very cheap image about the place. Food - Buffet . Average. I guess for the price , I don't want to complain ( we took a 1 meal package ) Al-a-carte : We ordered Chinese and it was good Service / staff : Good. Helpful . cheerful

We had booked the room for 3 days but we extended it again by 2 more days and trust me, I don't regret booking this hotel. The stay was wonderful and pretty comfortable. The owner and the staffs catered to our needs without any hassle. The room was clean and everything was in order. Also, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant but it has it's own kitchen wherein you can order food and the food is amazing too, matches the taste buds and portion is pretty good. And not to forget the rooftop terrace cum dining area, where you can just go and chill whenever you want to. No restrictions at all. Would love to stay here again the next time I come to Bangalore. Our edForce team recently had the pleasure of visiting the Olde Resort in Bengaluru, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were top priorities here. The resort was impeccably clean, including the tents where we stayed. The food was nothing short of fantastic. We indulged in a variety of delicious meals, and every dish exceeded our expectations. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all winners. The resort offers a wide range of activities to keep everyone entertained. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, there's something for everyone. The conference rooms were ideal for our meetings and workshops. They were well-equipped and provided a comfortable environment for our team discussions. While the swimming pool missed the mark for us, there were so many other enjoyable aspects that it didn't dampen our experience. A special shoutout to the staff who were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout our stay. Hansraj, the manager, was exceptional in ensuring our needs were met. Sardar ji, our server, was an absolute gem of a person who made our dining experience memorable. Live singing performances added a pleasant touch to our evenings, although they were just okay for us. Overall, the Olde Resort Bengaluru is a fantastic place to visit. The standard of the tents was impressive, and we couldn't have asked for a better team getaway. We look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Superb place for couple of days' break. Had been here with family for a get together and simply loved the experience courtesy some great service provided esp by Anand and his team. F&B led by Hansraj was equally good but with slightly time taking service. But cannot blame as we were a big group with huge order which was being freshly prepared. Kudos to entire staff for making our stay so pleasant. Whenever they saw us pushing wheelchair for a family member they extended help in taking care of the same. As soon as we checked out they scanned the rooms and returned some items which were left behind. Other good part of the resort was that it was quite and not over crowded as some properties get. Area of Improvement: Did not spend a lot of time in tent to comment much. Sporting good esp TT bats can be replaced with new ones. Some ACs need service as they make sound. Management could be little more flexible in terms of catering sspecial requests so that guests could make the trip memorable.

Ideal for people on flash visits to Bengaluru for staying and meeting contacts. Close to the International Airport. Very quiet ambience, greenery, birds... and a nice swimming pool, bar and restaurant
