Had varieties of unlimited breakfast items . Really worth for 150₹ . Foods are good . Good service . Hygiene is well maintained. Providing water bottle and coffe/tea at the end really makes you feel satisfied .

Paid a visit for a quick dinner to the Self Service block of this restaurant which is a landmark in Gandhi Bazaar since many long years. Accessibility is limited by walk due to ongoing beautification work of the Gandhi Bazaar main road. Luckily the restaurant has got more space now in the front which was cramped earlier. Tried below, Kulcha combo which is 2 Kulcha with Veg Gravy/Dal - 4/5 Mushroom Fried Rice - 5/5 Few high tables inside the restaurant & outside available for the Customers but can be congested many times. With many other new league & old restaurants in the vicinity, this one remains time tested well known for it's taste, quality & competitive pricing.

Good old restaurant to enjoy all kinds of vegetarian foods! Be it sweets, chats, north Indian, south Indian, coffee/tea, juice, ice cream, breakfast etc...its all there and I've been a regular visitor for more than 12 years now! Schezwan fried rice, Kulcha curry, lemon paneer, paneer chilly/Manchurian are my favorites and previously some long time ago paneer friend rice where the paneer was grated used to be one of my favorite dishes! It's undergone some changes and upgraded to a lot of things now. The parking for cars might no longer be a nearby affair as the street is getting revamped! Overall a nice restaurant to visit with friends or family to enjoy good meal!

I recently had the pleasure of trying a dosa at a local restaurant, and I must say, it was absolutely fantastic. The dosa was a culinary delight that surpassed all my expectations. The crispy texture and delicate flavors of the dosa were simply superb. The accompanying chutneys and sambar added an extra layer of deliciousness to the dish. The presentation was visually appealing, and the portion size was generous. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and provided excellent service. Overall, this dosa was a truly memorable culinary experience that I highly recommend to all food enthusiasts.

UB Roti Ghar in Gandhi Bazar, Bangalore turned out to be an unexpected delight. Although my original plan was to visit Vidyarthi Bhavan, I stumbled upon this gem right next to it. I opted for their small masala dosas, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were. The dosas were perfectly crispy on the outside, with a flavorful and well-spiced potato filling. The portion size was just right for a light snack. Impressed by the dosas, I decided to try their idlis and puris as well. Both dishes surpassed my expectations in terms of flavor and quality. The idlis were soft, fluffy, and accompanied by delicious chutney and sambar. The puris were served piping hot and had a delightful flakiness to them. The overall taste of the food was excellent, and it left me craving for more. One of the standout aspects of UB Roti Ghar is the reasonable pricing. Considering the incredible taste and quality of the dishes, the prices were quite affordable. Additionally, the service was prompt and efficient, ensuring that I didn't have to wait long for my order. Although I didn't plan on visiting UB Roti Ghar initially, I'm glad I did. It's a hidden gem in Gandhi Bazar, offering delectable South Indian delicacies at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick and delicious meal in Bangalore. One thing to note about UB Roti Ghar in Gandhi Bazar, Bangalore is that the road leading to the restaurant is currently under repair. This might pose a challenge for those traveling by four-wheelers, as it could be difficult to navigate through the construction zone. Additionally, finding parking in the area might be a bit of a task due to the ongoing repairs. While the road conditions and parking situation may be a temporary inconvenience, it’s important to focus on the food!!

After knowing about bharjari tiffin from social media sites, I took my family to this place which is around 20 kms from my house. Later i felt happy by choosing this place. I would rate full marks for both service and food taste. Also the staff were so active as they kept on asking you if anything to serve. Overall it was a very good experience for me and family. Planning for another visit soon. I strongly recommend it for those who want to taste most South Indian breakfast items. Also please note that currently they are serving buffet breakfast only on Saturday and Sunday.

Best of hotels, amazing 🍲food, great service, pleasant atmosphere..., UD has best team.., unlimited tiffin at just 150/-, & Unlimited Lunch 🍝🥗🍱at just 220/- best offers around Basavanagudi & even Bangalore

Loved the concept and totally worth the price you pay. The service is very good. All the dishes they served were good. But it would be better if they serve all the dishes hot to all the customers. A few items were served warm. If you are looking to fill your tummy with a good veg meal along with your friends or family it's a great place to go. Also they can improve on the ambience.

Ate for the first time the authentic north karnataka food. Loved the way they served us and fed us. Sumptuous and delicious food.

Good place for small get together for families!

A well know joint in Basavangudi serving typical South Indian meal with a wide spread at a reasonable price.
The best part of the meal is the Holige and the Rasam. Other items were just ok. The place gets really crowded during weekend lunch time and becomes a problem to have a peaceful meal when 40 eyes are staring on you !!
Manish Jain
An amazing south Indian meal served here. Meal comprises everything from Soup to Dosa to Chapati to Rice to Ice cream, apart from the accompanyting items. Surely something to suit any and everyones taste. Very reasonably priced and very crowded especially on weekends.

Nice place to enjoy traditional south indian lunch served on plantain leaf. Obbattu(Holige) masala dose, rice with sambar & rasam are very tasty.
Jigna C Shah
The place offers unlimited South Indian food except a couple of item at 150/-. The food served is tasty. Personally I did not like their soup as I felt lot of masala. Reach early to have food at comfort. Once the waiting of customers begin, u will be served quickly, asked to be quick and vacate so they can accommodate waiting customers. In order to relish each item they serve I recommend be a early bird😁

The place serves South Indian food in banana leaves. Price is really reasonable and goes with quality. If you are missing regular home food or festival food you can reach out to this place.

Food: many varities, liked tomato soup, beetroot veg, dal, sambar.
Rasam was not upto mark, holige was also good.

We had been Sunday and it was hell rush over there no place to stand, if you move you will surely hit some one or get hitted.

They serve asking again and again what you need more.

Feels they should have some mob management.
Keep slot, make some more place, arrangements to wait.
It's like we are eating and people standing was peeping into our plates.

Overall good food.

If you wanna have a good and tasty South Indian lunch, this is the right place. A large number of people will be waiting for lunch. So waiting is common at this place. Service is fast so you won't get enough time to eat peacefully. Variety of dishes will be served for lunch. Holige is the top notch.

Overall ratings:
Taste: 3.5/5
Service: 4/5
Quality: 4/5
Pocket-friendly: Yes

Had been here today for lunch on Ugadi festival. Anticipating the festival crowd the lunch had started earlier than usual. There was quite a crowd already when we arrived. The tables filled up fast and the service was quick too. I didn't expect so many items to be on the menu. Soup, payasa, obbattu, kosumbri, palya, phulka, 2 side dishes, masala dosa chutney, sweet and khara pongal, pulao, chittranna, Mysore pak, ladoo, burfi, rice sambar madam, curd rice and ice cream... Very sumptuous and tasty lunch.
Arunkumar BK
Been there for first time..it has unlimited meals except holige and water . Dosa and colour rice made my day.. meals started with soups and ended with ice cream...pocket friendly unlimited meals.
Varsha Gopalkrishna
Amazing homely food with typical South Indian tradition. The other best part is their hospitality and how they happily serve unlimited food to their guests. The list starts of with lip smacking soup and then goes to obbattu, masala dosa, roti or chapathi , 4types of palya, amazing pineapple gojju, biryani, papad, rice sambar, curd rice, buttermilk and many more items.

Total thumbs up to this team!!

They serve in small table spoon, .. kindly cook In your home eat full meals. People really hungry want have full meals don't get disappointed.
Bhavik Kiri
This is a nice small place who serve some really good food. Very basic approach to food and the best part is that they just serve the thali which means we are not confused with the menu!! Love the food too!!
Deepikasujay87
As the name suggests the meal is Bharjari indeed. Nice place..... so many variety of dishes served on a banana leaf. Holige and pineapple gojju was too delicious. Perfect place to go with family and friends for that authentic South Indian food experience.
Sudhanva Bhandolkar
After MTR we always needed another hotel with the typical karnataka cuisine. Every item is delicious. We end up tummy full of contentment and satisfaction. Though it breaks the diet but worth the cheat diet.

Don't miss small hot dosas
Prathibha GS
Nice Brahmin unlimited food. Food is tasty here.. Ambience is good.. Overall it was awesome.. Masal dose is very tasty here.. Side dishes, rice varieties, sambhar, rasam are very nice herr
Prajwal Kapse
It's unlimited food with full of soda.
Not at all worth eating. You will be full once you have dosa. It is sure to upset stomach.
It's gimmick.

If it weren't for the 'interloper' north indian sounding roti and dal-subzi in the midst of a tasty plantain meal, I would have given it a 4*. The menu is almost similar to what is offered at the Lalbagh MTR, but at a good 100 bucks less. Crispy little masala dosas and the always good coconut chutney, which has in a way, come for me to define one of the best things about the city, the dates holige, cucumber and sweet corn kosambri and pomegranate sprinkled curd rice, these r a few things I liked in the meal. Pulav was unnecessary, and the garlicky malodor stunk in my nostrils. Puliyogare was alright. I skipped the sambar rasam part. And we lost the ice cream coupon, so we gave it a miss(anyway my friend claims the ice cream they had served him was absolutely bad! ). Oh yes the servers had worn these malnad style caps made out of what? Arecanut shell? Maybe:-)
Rakesh Kashyap
Excellent homely type of food. Highly recommend for a family outing. The hotel staff are also very good. Just be wary of crowds on the weekends.
Sudeep Kulkarni
The variety of food that is offered at the given price is awesome. Taste quality and hygeine wise also good. This place in Basavanagudi worth visiting.

Simple south Indian meal with a homely touch. My family and I visit this place very often. But of late the place is usually very crowded and there is an air of urgency to finish the meal and vacate the place.
Food quality and service are both good.
Supreeth Sharma
Somehow the quality of food and it’s standard is fallen down and it’s always over crowded here and the service is so fast that you do not barely get time to have what has been served to you overall a poor experience knowing this restaurant years before they have really fallen short of quality and service
Jughead
Eating here made me feel that crashing a south Indian wedding for lunch would not be such a bad thing to do afterall.

Such a long menu. Can't remember anything that I liked to eat.
Ganesh C Mallaiah
Yes it's called bharjari South Indian oooooooooota one of my friend is north Indian but he liked very much. But seating is a bit conjested rest all fine.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with my family. Turned out to be one of the worst experiences ever. Extremely poor management of crowd and pathetic service. There is absolutely no communication between the guy at the counter issuing coupon for the food and the guy who is supposed to allocate tables. The restaurant is very small and over crowded with people standing everywhere, waiting for their turns making it impossible for the people to serve and making people at the table having their food feel so uncomfortable. Have sworn to never visit this place ever again. Definitely do not recommend at all.

Location: Bang in d middle of Gandhi Bazar. It's located a little after Vidyarthi Bhavan. Or just ask anyone for it, it's a very popular restaurant, been running for years now
Parking: Very difficult to find for 4 wheelers. I suggest u to find a safe spot, bcoz there's traffic cops roaming all d time

Ambience: No attention paid to it whatsoever. But it doesn't matter, d food is so good!!!

Food: They have only one option of unlimited meals served on a coconut leaf. Very reasonably priced at 150/- all inclusive.
They serve a lotta stuff. Honorable mentions for d Masala Dosa, it's amazing and u can have more than one, no restrictions 😉
Their holige was so good, they serve only one, but u neednot worry, for just 15/- u can add more to ur meal. I'm sure u r going to 😊
Tomato Soup was amazing.
They served 5 types of salads, all good. Sabji and chappati were finished off by us in minutes. Pulao n pachaddi were yummy. Sambar/ Rasam Rice, all good. Every single item they served was brilliant. Don't forget to pick up ur Icecream from d counter. That's d best part of d meal.
Highly Recommended 👍👍👍

Service and Value for Money: The waiters were polite and served with a smile, patiently. All d above mentioned items for just 150/-, how can that not be total Paisa Vasool 😉

Pros
1.Good South Indian food
2.Food served on banana leaf
3. Staff dressed in Udupi style
4.Tasty food, Ice cream is also available

Cons
1. They will rush on weekends and don't even allow 10 minutes to finish your food

Overall - Recommended

Stuck between 3 and 4. Concluding rating as 3.5 due to closing statements.

Sumptuous Karnataka meals for a price that's really reasonable. Hygiene, taste, service and ambience - above average. The only thing they need to work on is probably the feeling they give customer that they are being rushed to finish. Super crowded - had to wait almost half hour for a table. Not a place I would look forward to visit but would definitely enjoy whilst there. Got better options for meals.
Swetha S
It’s almost similar like south meals in maiyas. They serve more than 20 items, you should be very hungry and then visit this place or it’s a waste of money. 1 meal cost just 150rs. Almost all the items tasted good except for 1 or 2 which I didn’t like the taste of. We visited on weekend and we waited for almost half an hour to get a table.
Anyone who wants to taste Pakka South Indian meal then visit this place. Lastly you can choose your own ice cream flavour.
Sriyansh
Good place to have a budget friendly meal. The essence of pure south Indian meal. Had variety of items and excellent service. The food could have been served hot.
Harshitha Rangaswamy
Bharjari oota is a sumptuous meal on a plantain leaf for just 150 bucks.

We visited this play on a weekday for dinner around 8....crowd was less as a result we got a table without any waiting...Ambience is good, serving people wore pakka karnataka style attire...and the music was apt all old kannada instrumental...(maduve mane feel itu)

Coming to food first they started with soup two options are there vegetable and tomato...vegetable soup is far better. Three variety of starters, holige with ghee, dosa, chapati with sagu, pulav with raita, rice, sambar, curd rice and ice cream really realllly a lavish meal...

Apart from holige and ice cream rest all are unlimited...good thing is they do come second time to as if we want more 👍
Kritika Rao Bharadwaj
Agreed that not every place is extravagantly made. But I prefer going to place I get tasty food and some peaceful time to eat it.But this is sad, neither their food is too tasty and nor u get to eat peacefully if u end up going on a weekend lunch.I prefer going to some wedding than to this place, so that I get variety of food and there are no ppl behind me waiting for their turn.i went here on a sunday for lunch and was sad returned. They have no sweet served except Holige, not even a payasa they do. And they call in bharjari oota i dunno for wat joyi.their pulav has no essence of pudina, and fried has no taste of rice being fried.

All in all definitely not a place to go!
Ron Lobo
One thing I want to distinct is to rate a place according to it's concept. The concert is very clear in Bharjari Oota. You get typical south Indian food which is mouth watering. Everything was spot on. The Koosambri's we're delicious. Other few Highlights could be the Dosa's and Holige's. Literally 150/- is worth the deal. You have the whole package and experience. A must try place, I would suggest. All in all,
Price : Very affordable.
Quality : 4.5/5. ( Superior)
Service : 4/5.
Ambience :3.5/5.
Arpitha Arp
Found this at the last minute.... Worth the try. The staff is very courteous.. puliyogre is a must try in the meal... Its a complete sumptuous authentic South Indian meal 😀
Abhijit Tharian
150/- full meals
This is something which isn't that common these days
But this is one place where we get to eat the perfect south indian meal
I'd recommend you to try this place for a dinner
You get dosa chutney roti curry biryani rice rasam and curd rice
And also a bottle of water and a cone icecream for this price
The ambiance is lit
Maintained very well
Nagendra Simha
It is a mockery of the price for the quality & sumptuous food that this restaurant provides!! They could have easily kept the price at 400₹, but no, they have it at 150₹!! So that the common man have a delicious meal after a tiresome shopping in Gandhi Bazaar ;) .

I cannot point fingers at anything bad! Just too good! Keep up the good work.
Ramya Shree
It completely justifies the name it has got it serves the best South Indian unlimited meals for just 170 and the carrot holige which u get in this place is just amazing usually this place is crowded the ambience is cool and the service is also good ..

Good place for veg karnataka food. They serve veg thali unlimited in just 150/-. Food taste and ambience, service all awesome. Keep it up guys...

As the name says Bharjari Oota ,yes it's sumptuous food for INR170 and it's unlimited too !!! They serve the food in plantain leaves a tradition basically followed in south India. It has the kheer or payasa different on each day served at the first. Then comes the pulses and sprouts with cucumbers which are healthy to eat. They serve sweet as pooran Poli or holige or you can call sweet chapati which tastes ultimate!!! they serve small mysore masala dosa which you can take in any number as they are unlimited. Then they serve rotis/chapathis with two types of gravy's that are of North Indian. As a part of rice, they give pulav or biryani whichever is made to that day.White rice with Rasam and Sambar, followed by curd rice.At last desserts part, they serve free ice-cream cones of different flavours.Overall you can fill your tummy with all types of food on single plate :)
Service : 4/5
Food : 4/5
Ambience : 4/5
Vfm : 4.5/5

I had the Barjari Oota today and liked it. The food is typical south Indian, serve in Bannana leaves. The taste was good and you can ask for extra servings. All the items on the menu had the Roti Ghar signature that we like. My old Mom too liked it and I was all the more happy, seeing her happy :)

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic south Indian thali meal. Worth the cost.

Food: 3.5/5
Ambience: 3.5/5
Service: 3.5/5

It is a good option for a South Indian buffet. If you ever wish to have a South Indian marriage type Buffet. This is just the place to be.
Good food. Friendly Staff. @
Kaushik Venkatadri
Bharjari Oota has Bharjari Soda, it's just a hype trying to compete with the other restaurants in the same area who serve on plantain leaf. If you are planning for lunch or dinner never to such places.
Soumyadeep Dasgupta
An amazing place. Being from a Bengali family, we took a leap of faith and went for this meal with only vegetarian dishes. Proud of the decision taken. My parents who have never been to anything remotely close to this kind of cuisine were amazed at the incredibly scientific approach to tease all the taste buds. For people who feel Bangalore is losing it's originality, I highly recommend this place. Fell in love with Kannada cuisine. Simple, elegant and sumptuous..
Sumukh Shamanur
UD group is always known for the veg delicacy. Now the landmark hotel gives 'baale yele' (banana leaf) with authentic karnataka taste. Whole sum of payasa, palya, saaru, obattu makes filled dinner/lunch.

Definitely a place try the traditional and tasty food.
Avinash
Completely veg. Full stomach meal
Still I feel items could have been better. Conjusted place, and no space for parking. Good and cleanliness maintained

Amazing variety of food great taste. A must try for all the foodies. Absolutely worth it and inexpensive. Great way to satisfy Ur taste buds and tummy.

The worst place you can go for South Indian lunch, Recommend you not to visit this place considering good food or value for money, your wrong. Horrible plantain leaf lunch, starting with Dosa, it is the worst ever dosa you can have, n chappathi is not of wheat only maida, The rice is full of soda and gravy full of water. Your stomach will feel so full after having rice. UD when they started in Gandhi bazar were famous for their thindi n later Roti ghar famous for North Indian food. Now with this Barjari oota they are spoiling their reputation. People are getting fooled considering the number of items for the price of 170. Trust me you will fall sick. Please avoid it. Don't want anyone to go through the same.
Hitesh V
Good food!!! Complete paisa vasool, it is recommended to have sweets in your menu
A treat to your stomach. Its a must visit
For Rs.150 its completedly worth👌🏻
Vijay
A typical Karnataka wedding style dining. A lot of items on the menu. Everything was good for Rs. 150. Just that there was no AC and fans weren't around everywhere.

Bharjari Oota, Hesaru Thakante Ide (Goes by the Name)

It was Reunion of old office mates after a very long time, 3 of us Only.

After discussing whtr to go for a Buffet or a Normal A La Carta Restaurant, it was Bharjari Oota the final decision.

Sunny Saturday noon, Difficult to find place in Gandhi Bazaar for parking, Sme how managed to park the bike and reached the place.

We were asked to buy tokens for Lunch and a wait time of 20 minutes.

Service Hall was in Floor1 and Floor3, We reached Floor1 and showed the bill and were asked to wait and were given table 1st come 1st Server basis.

It was tooo hot and temperature was around 40 and less space to wait as well.

After 20 minutes we were given a our Table and it was a wedding dining hall experience in the Hall..

Coming to the food, They serve Lunch over a Banana Leaf, We get a complimentary water bottle.

They started off with Soup, Two choices Tomato and Coriander, Made the right choice, Coriander Soup was hot,Spicy and fantastic. the best Coriander soup i have ever tasted, It was served in a small glass. DO NOT MISS THIS.

Then they served salt,Nallikai (GooseBerry) Pickle,Sweetcorn , Black Eyed Beans and Beans Palya(Side Dishes) and PineApple Gojju.

All 4 were right up to the mark.

While i was enjoying the taste of soup, they served Obattu, i do not prefer sweets, but it was served before i could say no. Good i did not say NO, After a long time ate a wonderful Obattu, Sweetness was balanced well and it was really good.

Then comes chutney and Mini Masala Dosa, Chutney was fresh in that hot weather as well, Mini Masala Dosa was Oily,Taty and it was just like size of my wrist, Potato filling was good and i managed to eat three.

Then came two North Indian curries, Mix Veg and Dhal and they served Pulka/Chapati, It was dry and the only low point of this meal is this, But curries were very good.

This is followed by Coconut Rice,Pulao and Pachadi, I had this OMG feeling when i tasted Coconut Rice,Fresh and less spicy, Got this served two more times (1 serve is one Scoop).

Fryums were served as well. Not Oily

Followed by White rice, Sambar, Rasam. Sambar was spicy and had enough vegetables

Rasam was hot and spicy

Mixed curd rice was served, It was sweet and fresh.

This is followed by a Scoop of our chioce Ice Cream @ Ground Floor.

All the above is UnLimited, Cost is 150 rs, It was more than a WORTHY SOUTH INDIAN MEAL.

I will definately not have breakfast next time and visit this place and have another feast.

I request the Managment to please make arrangements for people waiting on stairs and if the food is served in a closed AC Room, It will attract more than what you are serving now.
Nithish Kini
A very good place to eat authentic karnataka meal. A lot of variety in dishes and very reasonable price. The place is a bit small so it might be difficult to get a table during peak time.

Pathetic service and attitude of hotel people, though the food was good. With scorching sun outside, there is No AC, insufficient air, very small place and people almost stepping on each other ... That apart, asked for cold water- the person said 'we don't supply cold water'. I said we will pay but the person says 'go down and get cold water if you want'. I asked for a small plantain leaf or plate for my 3year old daughter - just to make her quiet. I told nobody needs to serve food to it... But no, they say 'it's not policy to give extra leaf or plate'. I said, sir I don't want food in it... need only leaf to just make my daughter sit quiet.. But no. That wasnt provided.. Even after talking to the manager. I very well understood business carries more weightage than humanity or humbleness. Thanks, will never visit again ....

We decided to try this place to celebrate a special occasion with 15 of our family members. It surely is a mixed bag of an experience. The place is very congested, hence overcrowded. It can seat about 80 people at a time. There is no proper waiting area here, people have to crowd near a narrow staircase and inside the dining area.

After waiting (usually 20-mins), we were shown our tables. Soon plantain leaves were laid out along with a bottle of water. After the usual accompaniments like kosambri, palya etc. We had a choice of soup - sweet corn and tomato. Holige with ghee followed. The holige was hot and had a balanced sweet taste that lingers on, fist sized masala dosas were served along with chutney. The dosas were tasty and crispy. Roti and 2 types of currys followed the dosas. Sambhar and rice made a good combo. The rasam was brilliant and potent (fancy a chance to gulp it down in a glass!). The curd rice was pre-mixed (do not put extra rice thinking that you will be served curds!) with nuts and fruits, a perfect way to end a really sumptuous meal!

If you still have some appetite left, you can have a scoop of ice cream in a cone.

Pros: The taste, the experience of having a nice meal on a plantain leaf.
Cons: The congested area, chaos etc

One of the best South Indian "Banana Leaf Meals" in Bangalore. For 150Rs definitely worth it. Menu is really quite long and everything is perfectly tasted, menu starts with the soup which is served in a Short glass which is something different and unique. Kosambaris, chutney, masal dosa chapati dal kurma rice rasam sambar variety rice and holige served with ghee..Ahh!, its a complete package and a cone ice cream to end with. Yummilicious!!!

A perfect south indian menu in a banana leaf lunch or dinner you can enjoy at a reasonable rate . But quality and taste of the food is not that great . When we go on weekends dosa what they serve will not be baked properly . And the service is not that great over here . The desert over here is an authentic cone ice cream what they call and they are serving cone ice creams or softee from many years . The authentic south indian food what they serve in an shimoga attire is the main attraction over here . But they have not maintained the service and the quality . But ambiance they have maintained very well .

All the veg lover's get some free time to visit this place. Ambience is normal like every veg restaurants. Everytime it will be crowded avoid visiting on weekends.
No one can tell it's not worth the amount we pay because just for 150rs they provide unlimited food which includes soup, hollige, dosa, pulka, three favoured rice, white rice, curd rice and sides.
Along with this the way hospitality is provided is remarkable a good place.

This is another venture of the popular UD chain which gave Bangalore it's first darshini. This restaurant is located on the first floor of the building next to Roti Ghar. Getting here is the easy bit, get the parking slot is the difficult bit. So do park your vehicles on any of the by-lanes of Gandhi Bazaar & walk down here. Once you reach, do collect the token of 150 Rs. for this meal. And do take the token for the ice cream too from the ground floor. There's usually a fair bit of waiting to do as this is usually packed with people.

Once you get your chance at the table, they serve you the tomato [or coriander : I didn't take this] soup. Next they spread out the banana leaf on which the meal is served. They also hand out a 1/2 litre bottle of Bisleri, the cost of which is included in the meal. Then the starting serving the pickles, the sweet, the two type's of kosambari & the papads or rice crisps. This is followed by the phulka, the masala dosa & the obattu along with the chutney's, palya, North indian curry & the dal tadka. Everything tastes good, but the obattu stands out & I ended asking for third's. After this they serve you the plain rice, the curd rice & the veg pulao alongwith the raitha, rasam & sweetcurds. After you have managed to wipe off everything they give you a small yelakki banana & when that's done, they give you a scoop of MTR icecream in a cone.

Over all it's a good experience, provided one has the patience to wait for his turn. The food is not highly tasty, but the variety makes up for it. And for just 150/- Rs, it's woth every penny spent. So will give the meal a 3.5*.

The staff & the service is quite quick, so will give them a 4*. The ambiance is also quite good with it's slick furniture and tidy environs. So will give that a 4* too. The VFM gets a 4*.

Yes, I will be back for sure to gorge on unlimited tasty, vegetarian food items.

Nice place for an authentic South Indian banana leaf lunch all items are spread neatly and served tasty and yummy only draw back is crowd.... the management does not manage the crowd properly as the space is very less for seating and standing another disadvantage is the party hall which has the same entry and exit making the crowd too much to stand or seat.

One of the best South Indian feasts ever.. If you are alone during this festive season or you are too lazy to cook up a feast for family, this is the place you need to head to. Each dish cooked in authentic home-made fashion. A heavy spread well worth your time and money. I will be coming back soon with a bigger crowd. Good Job UD group..

Very very very disappointed... Not so good place...would suggest to the management to recruit smiling staff for issuing coupons.. The person who sitting there is unprofessional and doesn't even know how to smile 😂 and his behavior is not at all friendly..
Coming to the managing the crowd... Totally failed..
Without knowing what's happening in food hall they issues coupons and making people to stand for hours.. I felt so bad that many people standing with kids for long time..
Food.. Okay type..not so good ..because of shortage of food they haven't served couple of items..
I would not recommend to my family and friends...

One of my friend recommended me to visit this place and it was one of the best places for South Indian food that I've visited in the recent times. My suggestion is to go to this place early because it tends to get too crowded in the Lunch time. Food is served on a Banana leaf and begins with the serving of a soup and obattu. Everything is unlimited. The taste is perfect and the different varieties given make it a great sumptuous meal.

Truly it was a Bharjari Oota! A must visit place in South Bangalore

Sumptuous and authentic south Indian meals. The taste is good and the cleanliness is well maintained. Certainly a great value for money is delivered.

Priced Rs:-150 per Head and child at Rs 100 with Unlimited Food Except Sweet and Ice Cream.
Coming To the Food its a Typical Karnataka Marriage Food. Food Tasted good. My favorite was Mango sagu. Masala Dosa, Veg Biryani and Curd Rice. I felt along with Holge they should have served some other sweet and finish the meal with a Pan should have been served. Complementary you get a scoop of ice cream. I went on a weekend it was Crowded you need to wait at least 20 Min to get your table after registering the name with the person standing at the door. they even serve the same food on the 3rd Floor. Coming to the service even though its crowded the food is served with smile and follow up with serving the dish one after the other. Go for it.

The place is fit enough to the title given. It is crowded most of the time. But the taste of each items doesn't disappoint you. Even on the cost wise it is minimal.

3 of us had been to this place on Sunday afternoon.... pretty much crowded but dunno why?
Food is not that great like many of them boast about this place.... Not much of options you have in food too. Taste is mediocre and the pricing is not right for the food they provide. Disappointed with the taste .

Nothing more than a normal south Indian meal without any twist in taste (mean to say not that tastier).
Ambiance- 3.5/5
Food- 2/5
Value for money- 2/5

Went with high expectations but was disappointed with the taste. Expected authentic Karnataka South Indian food but turned out to be a mix of North and South with average to poor taste.

Good Stuff: Hollige (though edges were hard), Veg. Biryani, Kadlekaal Usli, Pineapple Gojju.
Average: Rasam, Dal, Soup
Bad: Majjige Hulli, Chitranna, Pulka, North Indian Curry. No South Indian papad served, instead some triangle shaped fried stuff which had gone soft. Ghee is also not available.

Place is small and crowded but clean. Toilets were also clean.

Suggestions: Get rid of North Indian stuff and improve taste of South Indian items. No South Indian meal is complete without South Indian papad and good rasam and ghee. And how about a filter coffee at the end instead of ice cream?

It was bharjari oota n fun time for the entire family.. Though it was weekday waiting time was too much.. Waiting is not the issue but with 15 members there is no enough space to wait... If not seating atleast customers need place to stand comfortably..
Vasu Alur
The name itself says "bharjari oota".
We had to wait for almost an hour just to get out seats. The food keeps on coming, perfect place for South Indian oota lovers. We are so much that we took 10 mins to just get up 😂😂

Yea Exactly this was Bharjari Oota!
One of the unit of UD and it was 150₹ lunch, where all the listed items were unlimited and were served really quick and fast.
This is above cake ghar and next to roti ghar.
Token were in hands In just seconds, and the reality was when we went to the first floor of the restaurant 🍴 where I had to wait atleast for 10 min :( there was no option!
And when finally I got tables after a long wait, I was really hungry and wanted to eat each and everthing.
They serve thali on banna leaves, this represents the tradition and culture.
What do we expect in the south indian thali. A list of items were need to be served.
Some healthy starters like sweetcorn kosumbri and some gram kosumbri. Started with sweet called obbatu. And slowely items stared to come from one end. Almost all everthing was really fresh and hot.
Place is right next to Roti Ghar & is part of same hotel. You have to buy meal coupon of 150 per person & head on to 1st floor. Ambiance is nice & they have large tables which can accommodate 6 to 10 people. Overall place can hold 50 people at once. Food is served in Banana leaf with 500ml water bottle. Menu is printed on the backside of the ticket & has a good spread with Soup, Mini masala dosa, 2 varieties of Rice, Pulka & curry , Obbattu, Rice, Rasam , Sambar & Curd rice. All of these except desert is unlimited !!!! . Post the meal, you can collect a scoop of ice cream in G floor.
Taste is good & if you reach early [11.30AM / 7.30PM] , you can have a relaxed & satisfying meal !!

Really worth going with family, we enjoyed a lot what more you expect from core south indian food, Masala dosa was also really good and was served with some mango chutney. holige, soup, gojju & Chapathi with 2 sides are also served and while one side served is a South Indian, the other one is a North Indian one. Rices of 2 varieties was also served,

Excellant combination, all stuff's are mouth watering...!!!!!

This place is a part of roti ghar. I ve been going to roti ghar since childhood , but bharjari oota doesn't match up to the actual quality of Roti ghar. Totally a disappointing experience .

Bharjari Oota is located right next to Roti Ghar and is located in the vicinity of Gandhi Bazaar. It can easily be spotted and is located on the first floor. You first need to buy a token of 150 rupees and then go for your meal. The place gets really crowded sometimes and make sure you are early and catch hold of a place if you are in a hurry. The place is done up quite nicely and you feel homely.

The food consists of a mix of South-Indian and North-Indian fare and is served in a traditional way on the plantain leaf. You get to choose from a variety of 2 soups. The choice of soups that i got to choose from was the tomato soup and the coriander soup. I loved the coriander soup and was so much of flavour. The sides served were also really good and loved all of it. Holige was served which was a Sakkare holige and boy it was delicious. Masala dosa was also really good and was served with some mango chutney. Chapathi with 2 sides are also served and while one side served is a South Indian, the other one is a North Indian one. Rices of 2 varieties was also served: One was lemon rice and the other was Veg pulav. Some fryums were also served. Rice and sambhar and rice and rasam is also served. Curd rice also tasted good. The meal ends with an ice-cream scoop of your choice. I totally liked everything I had and I believe that it's a steal for 150 rupees for the variety of the food, the quality and also it's unlimited. Even my grandparents loved it. I would totally recommend this to anyone :)
