Cool corner, Ahh!! one of the good place to have fast food . food tastes amazing and don't forget to try Masala Dosa with Red Chutney

Most of my Sunday breakfast here as a family... Variety of breakfast menus... Masal Dosa & Onion dosa is very tasty here. Bisi Bele Bath also good. Set dosa, Onion Masala dosa, Akki roti, Ragi dosa also available here. Idly not available here. Sambar also not serving here.. but 2 type chutneys are serving here. Deserts also available here. But milk shakes are not that much good. Sandwiches also not good. Sitting is not available here... Serving is very quick and clean.

Good place to hang out for coffee or some Indian fast food including chaats or juices. This place has been here for over 2 decades. Good quality and clean. Limited parking for cars.

Cool Corner is a hotel cum restaurant situated since few decades now. The quantity and quality of the food items are good. The prices are slightly more compare with other hotels nearby. However, its worth for the taste and service they provide. Parking is an issue however you can park beside the cross road of the Hotel.

One of the best places in the area for breakfast, lunch, snacks as well as dinner. I and wife were around the place and had veg cheese sandwich, tomato cheese sandwich, chiku milkshake, ice cream and of course filter coffee. The best filter coffee we’ve had in Bangalore so far.

Best place for Breakfast... Foods are hygenic and tasty... Place is also clean... I ate Set Dosa here... Dosa was smooth and good in taste... They provide 2 types of Chutney... Red Chutney was too good...

I say that this is the only place beside a National College students can visit. No other restaurants near by. I visited 2 times. But the taste , quality and quantity is where it stands one step ahead from all. Masala dosa here it's only 50/-.

One should come here for Dosa's. And bisibelebath is yumm here but available mostly on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

One of the best places to visit on a low budget without compromising on either quantity or quality. They offer highly filling sandwiches which are bigger than the usual ones available at other places. A variety of top notch dosas are available. Variety of ice creams and chats are also available. On the whole a very economical place to try out variety of food.

This place is located in basvangudi near National college. Have been visiting here since 10 years and the taste is maintained the same. Their choice of sundaes especially their gud buds, masala dosa, akki rotti, sandwiches, juices and Chats every thing is on point and hygiene is maintained as well and of course very much pocket friendly.

The food is very delicious and extremely fresh. The place is always crowded because of its popularity and the food varies from South Indian to Chats and Ice Cream , Milkshakes and Juices are also available. The place is easy to notice from the traffic and parking is available nearby the place.

Went here for dinner and since I wanted to have something light, ended up having Ragi Dosa. Wanted to experiment a bit since this was my first time visting this hotel and also trying Ragi Dosa was in iteself was an experience for me. Well must say I wasn't disappointed. It was very good and the chutney that's given along with it compliments the taste. It costs 45/- which I think is priced on the higher side, but then this not being a regular fare I felt it was ok.. You get 2 Ragi Dosa's in a plate and it's quite filling. I again visited the next morning and needless to say I had the same dosa and it was good.. Good one guys!!

Serves one of the best Parothas with curry around that area, service is very quick and can get orders quickly for those who are in a hurry for the work

A truly legendary place for the localities of Basavangudi.<br/>The hotel situated near Jain college has been here for years now.<br/>They serve a small range of items from Ragi Doe-Sae, Akki rotti, Rice bath, Ice cream sundaes etc.<br/>They do not serve Idlis or vadas.<br/>What you must try is the Ragi rotti that is so full of flavour, served with two chutneys and sagu if asked for.<br/>The Akki rotti is also one of the best I have ever eaten. Crispy and goes well with the chutneys.<br/>Finish it off with a cup of Chai or coffee and that's how you end a rainy day 😀

Located alongside the main road. It attracts lot of customers. Usually people come here for fruit juice and ice creams. There is nothing much to mention. No seating available it's a 'on the go have a bite' kinda place. Been there from a while now.

I have been here many times when i was working in my earlier company.Recently visited this place for breakfast on 2 different days.<br/><br/>I had ghee rice, pulav,masala dosa, coffee and badam milk on 2 diffrrent days.<br/><br/>Masala dosa was excellent and crispy. both red and green chutney were good.<br/><br/>Pulav and ghee rice were also excellent.<br/><br/>Evening snacks will be good here. Also they offer variety of icecreams and milkshakes.<br/><br/>Generally i don't drink coffee,I have it rarely but when i had coffee here i felt it was good.<br/><br/>There is no seating available.<br/><br/>Excellent place to have morning breakfast and evening snacks.

We came down to cool corner for breakfast . <br/>We ordered masala dosa(oily crispy) , capsicum dosa( different ,soft) and softy ice cream( cheap desert fix) <br/>I really love the chats here aswell .

My all time favourite breakfast spot.<br/>Their masala dosas are to DIE for, crispy and with a delicious aloo stuffing. The chutneys served, red and green, are both extremely good.<br/>Mango milkshake is another favourite, creamy and fruity.<br/>Their other great dishes are rava dosa, masala puri, grilled sandwich, and fruit salad.<br/>Would definitely recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.

It's a self-service restaurant that has a lot of beverages and also some snacks in their menu. I ordered a badam milk shake and it was really tasty with good quality. They have many options to choose from. This place doesn't look that great but is actually amazing. The sandwiches are good and the milkshakes are awesome. The ice creams are also great. No wonder it is packed always.

This competes With the Upahara Kendra right next door. It tries to serve dosas, chaats, juice /shakes and ice cream sundaes. Honestly, it should stick to ice cream sundaes and shakes. The chaat was a disaster! The dosa is good, but UK next door does a better job of it. The highlight of the place was the amazing ice cream Sundae called Golden Cherry King. It was loaded with 4 scoops of ice cream flavors, dry fruits, nuts, cherry and tutti frutti with a splash of honey on top. From the first spoon it makes you go yummmmmmm... Must try dish. It serves the best sundae in the neighborhood.!!

This place is pretty old and is very famous. People from far places come to eat here. Though it is next to upahara kendra, this place has its own magic.<br/><br/>Used to visit this place a lot during college days. Most of the time it's crowded and during weekends it's a chaos. The best dosa's ever. Best place for chats. Dahi puri cannot be matched with any other place. To end with deserts the golden King gives a complete feel.

This place is there for over 12+ years now, even today the place is always crowded even till 10pm in the night. One of my friend took me to this place for the golden cherry ice-cream. One of best ice-creams. I have yet to try out many of there items..

Cool corner was my breakfast and lunch point during my college days. Located near jain college vv puram or national college circle. Famous for its dosas. We used to fight out to get the dosa during peek times as we had to rush back to classes. It was also famous for its juices, ice creams and falodas. So when you want chat around with family ans friends in the evening with ice creams and juices cool corner is the place.

The masale puri is the best!! And the coffee is just amazing!! We always have a super good time whenever we visit this amazing place. We have been there countless number of times now.. The masala dosa, akki rotti, sandwiches, ice creams .. Everything is special!!! A very very good place to spend your evenings with friends and family.

Located in the bustling V V Puram area, this 'darshini' style joint is an amazing place for dosas & a variety of 'rottis' (the Karnataka variety, akki rotti, ragi rotti, et al). I love the crisp Masale dose with the spicy red chutney inside, served with coconut chutney that is not watery! The rottis and other varieties of dosas are delicious too, some of my cousins would insist that the onion uttappam is to die for. Apart from this, they serve sandwiches & juices. Surprisingly, they do not have idli vada on their menu. <br/><br/>A regular for the last 4-5 years, I can vouch for their consistency. Must visit, I'd like to insist :)

Earlier it was called cafeshree, since the renovation the style of the place has dramatically changed! <br/>The love their capsicum dosa and onion dosa which is just yumm. This was on the way to my college and hospital and never really i know how many times have i visited this place. The fruit juices and sandwiches are also good.

Another reputed restaurant in Basavangudi. Had sev dahi chat and masala puri chat. Also had Mousambi juice. Everything tasted very good. Worth going.

Though I passed by this place a lot many times before, never paid a visit unless my friends told me about it. It adds to the list of the famous darshinis in Basavangudi area.<br/><br/>Do try out the Masala Dosa. Crispy, hot and along with garlic red chutney..it's an instant hit! Onion dosa is amazing too! Only few places manage to make it properly and Cool Corner is one of those few. Onion is spread evenly and blends perfectly with red chutney again! Rava dosa was also pretty good! Ended our snacks with a strong filter kaapi! :D<br/><br/>They also have chats and sandwiches. Thats for the next time! :D

This place is popular for its ice creams and sundaes. I have visited this place several times. The South Indian items are quite good in taste. I have tried different dosas and akki roti as well. Only issue I have is the quantity of curry/chutney they give with the dosas. They offer decent sandwiches as well and are quite good for the price. <br/><br/>They do have have chaat sections which is quite bad so not worth trying out.<br/><br/>Coming to the ice creams, the variety is good, hot chocolate fudge is quite nice but in some sundaes, they just put anything and everything which just spoils them.

A tad overpriced IMO. The grilled sandwiches are pretty good but the chutneys for the dosas were bland. The dosa itself tastes really good, though, and so does the aloo inside. Juices are pretty good too. They do have a bit of a hard time dealing with large crowds, though.

This darshini is located on the k r road and is very famous with the residents of basavanagudi. They serve different varieties of dosas, sandwiches, chats , icecreams and chats. Taste is on the moderate side. Very moderate side. It gets a lot of crowd in the evening more because it is the best amongst the others in this area than any other reason. Nothing extraordinary about any food here..... And for that an average 2.5 is all it gets!!!

Another veggie paradise in Basvangudi. Juices will be too good and I like the varieties of Ice Cream available here.<br/><br/>Service is quick and friendly. But sometimes servers get confuse due to crowd. Parking is not at all a problem. Its a wonderful place to stop and have breakfast or chats.<br/><br/>FINAL VERDICT: Another great hotel in Basavangudi restaurant portfolio.

This place initially wasn't that great. UK was miles better. But few years ago UK lost its variety and cc took over. Chats,sandwiches and everything non South Indian is better here compared to UK but for South Indian and dal roti UK is still the leader.

Almost for 2 years this corner catered my daily lunch break needs!!<br/>Was fully satisfied with the food,whether be it the dosas or the sandwiches or the fancy named ice creams!! :)<br/>Capsicum and Onion dosas and bisibelevath are a must try!!<br/>Cool Corner is very efficient and capable of serving huge crowds of Colleges in the vicinity!!<br/>A favourite with the localities also!! :) :)

Cool corner in Basavangudi is a place which serves great South Indian delicacies .Located near National college ,Jain college this place is popular for the yummy masala dosas ,akki roti, onion dosa.<br/>They also have variety of ice cream sundaes ,chats ,sandwiches and fruit juices .<br/>Good value for money and quick service makes me head back to this place always .

it was ma daily lunch nd snacks place during my college days. I love the rotis and onion Dosa. sev batata puri , grape juice and fruit salads r my all Tim favorites in the place.

The Sandwich and Juice are pretty cool, the chats are nice. Nice place to chill out with friends. This is the best place to hop on at NR colony

This place is perfect for early morning breakfast, brunch and lunch... well if u have ur office, school or college around it.. its worth going here for lunch.. Onion dosa is something you must try...!! and especially the Chutneys with the dosas are mouth watering.. They are like a cherry on the cake..!<br/><br/>usually its quite crowded at lunch time.. but the crowd is manageable and the prices are also proper. Its affordable and tasty.<br/><br/>sandwiches, south Indian food, juices etc. are always on a demand here. worth going here. enjoy...!

A gud n a small restaurant..whch has lots of variety of foods...sandwich , masala dosa , rava dosa , akki rotti , chats and last but not d least ice creams ll be gud here...ambience is not so gud..taste is excellent..rate is fine..my fav here is paneer veg grill n masala dosa..whch tastes really gud..

I had akki rotti and dosa here very good taste and you get the feel of real south Indian taste ..like to visit one more timer  you need to try it once and carrot milk shake is pretty famous in here and i liked it :-P

Located in the corner of KR road, just the right after the national college signal.. very easy to locateI have tried the masala puri, Dahi puri and the  Veg sandwich..Neat joint, value for money and good taste...A sure shot try out place for your evening hunger twinges

Located on KR road, parking is found easily, do not park in front of the hotel cops will be on a lookout. Its in the ideal location, all the students from Jain college are found here during lunch hours. Service is quick enough. Its not very pricey also.<br/><br/>One of the best items here is the masala dose, very yummy and chutney also very tasty. Capsicum dose and onion dose are also very good. In case you order akki rotti, ask them to make it roasted. Chats are also good enough to have. Pizza is also nice. <br/><br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Ambiance: 4/5<br/>Service: 4 /5

I better call this restaurant as "Memories".I spent half of my life here for the breakfast and lunch when i was studying in National College.I remember price use to be very cheap during 2004 to 2007 now i guess its costly.Price of Masala Dosa was 12 rupees and now it is 40 rupees :-(Only disadvantage is "No Service" apart from that Dosa's are really good and Chats are some what okThe Chutney which they provide with Dosa's are too good...Decent Darshini Ambiance and It will be too crowded in the Lunch time and morning Breakfast time.If you guys are passing in KR Road, do stop and have a quick masala dosa here<br/>Quality: 5/5Ambiance: 4/5Taste: 4.5/5
