Review Hatti Kaapi - Bengaluru

sreelaya sudheer
Coffee was too bitter. Only for those who like strong caffeine. Chai was good
Merin Chacko
I went to get myself a really strong coffee and had asked the person making for the same. But it was very light and not for my liking. Maybe the person might have given me the wrong coffee... I would only rate the coffee I had 3stars, because it was just okay but the reason I gave them 4 stars is coz of what I read on the cup and did my own little digging into the brand and was pleasantly surprised and very much impressed. Impressed at the owner's resilience and also the social initiative attached with the brand. They employ specially abled and senior citizens as a part of their workforce to run their stores. Also for those wondering, Hatti means home and Kaapi means coffee, hatti kappi is just to say it's homemade coffee. Will try again sometime.

Nice little shutter on the road and easily noticeable. Go to this place for better coffee. Don't forget to ask for organic jaggery coffee in an earthen pot..

Eco and Bella coffee ☕ is must try.. Taste is good.. No seatings

Really nice place to have some strong coffee in the morning before a long day at work / college. The prices and cheap and service is fast. The snacks are nice when it's fresh, but slightly on the expensive side. The packaging for parcelled coffee is very convenient and very easy to carry and drink while walking. Overall a good experience.
Sheshank Reddy
A great place for a quick filter coffee. Not the best coffee in Bangalore or the cheapest, but quick service, consistent taste and a convenient location make this a favorite stop. They have a small selection of snacks on offer as well. Worth trying and not too bad. Try their jaggery coffee if you’re interested in a slightly unusual taste.
Hari Vaishnav
Great place and taste. Good customer service with a good ambiance. Price is reasonable, but quantity is kind of low for the price. I would recommend it to family or friends for their free time chill or talk with peace. Would suggest to provide parking too nearby or just let customers where we can do parking. Hatti Kappi is good everywhere.
Ajeya Krishna
Pretty decent coffee good taste and well maintained place. But no space to sit and have coffee. As the taste.of coffee is pretty decent giving 4*s and recommending for the one is looking for South Indian filter coffee. But when they are running a brand with beverage name, expected better coffee.
Darpana
Amazing jaggery coffee but felt was a little too pricey.
karthik jonnakadla
A lovely place to have great coffee! With decent snack spread it makes a lovely place. One can't get a decent parking space here and not too much of space to stand and eat either but this is a great place
Sumit Raj
Quality of food is not good. Highly disappointed with price and quality
Anjali
Okay okay place... But when I ordered the food was cold.. Very cold..<br/>Please try to send the food when it is hot. Then only I will provide 5 stars.. The taste can also be improved.. Try on that..

Filter coffee was amazing and mini samosa it's tasty

Packaging was leaked. Qunatity was also very less. Food taste is also low. Worst food. Worst experience
Vidya
Ordered bisibele bath its sour its spoiled.. Dunno hw cm thy cn snd spoiled food to customer.. Recmnd nt to order frm ds restaurant...........
Ruchika Bhatia
Sent burnt samosas. How can you expect someone to eat that? Horrible experience... Was thinking to order from this place since long, but regret that I ordered from here.

I've had the Hatti Samosas since they seemed to be a crowd favorite. But, I was disappointed. Hatti, more like Tatti. The fillings were bad and very bland.
Vatsal Khandelwal
I visited this place when I was strolling around in koramangla. It is a nice place for beverages, I think. I had a Kold Kaapi Hazelnut flavoured. The flavor was good, but my only complaint about it is that the coffee wasn't as thick as it should have been. Flavor-wise it was good..
Ankit Amar
Their coffee is really good. It has a pungent taste that is really refreshing. Their snacks are also superlative.<br/>I will suggest this place if you are looking for affordable hot beverage. Only problem is that is no proper place to sit in front of store otherwise everything is fine.
Piyush Agarwal
This place used to serve good coffee and decent breakfast. But over its completely lost. While coffee is still ok, their breakfast options taste have deteriorated and they have reduced the quantity to a point that one feels cheated.<br/><br/>We ordered for 2 bisibele bath and the quantity for Rs.35 was disgraceful. It's was flowy and hardly 3-4 spoons. On complaining to the staff, the response was that they have been instructed to give 200gms which was ridiculous.<br/><br/>The vada was also dry and bland. Overall very disappointing experience.
HungRAI
I cannot believe I went on with life in Bangalore for 3 years without trying this place popular here so much. So I like both the cold and hot kapi. Not tried anything else so far but it's good so far.<br/>My rating 3.5
Kalra’s
I had heard alot about hatti kaapi and once i landed in banglore I definitely had to try it and tasted their filter coffee. It was string but was made too sweet. The snacks that we tried along with the coffee were also very average. However i bought a packet of filter coffee to make at home that was very good.
Veethan Vishwas Dsouza
Ginger tea is worst here. No taste. Prepared using some powder.<br/><br/>Hatti samosa also not good.<br/><br/>Other items may be good. I have not tried.<br/><br/>Bad experience for me . I was expecting good quality food & tea.<br/><br/>
Vaishakh Pv
One of the best places for filter coffee.<br/>Rest of their menu is south Indian snacks and rice combos for lunch.<br/>Idli is different very soft and quite nice.<br/>Pocket friendly place for breakfast.<br/>Too bad they don't have dosas.
Daddy Of Foodie
whenever i visit Koramangala I definitely sip a Bella(Jaggary) coffee here. Which is served in a clay cup which gives a great earthen flavor to coffee. As being regular they always recognize specially the guy who sits at the cash counter.<br/>There are lot of other verities of food and snacks apart from the coffee.
Rohan Bhattacharjee
Really disappointed to drink tea at this place. Who gives you milk and tea solution and ask you to mix sugar yourself. The samosa that they call is not samosa, ifs shit.
Afzal Abbas
This is the place to have the best filter coffee in Kormangla and an ideal place to hang out with friends. You also have the option of having a good tea in case if you are not a coffee person.
Sona Roy
cold samosa received .. not at all crispy...
Raj Keshari
These guys serve amazing varieties of coffee and tea... their snacks is also good... it’s a must visit for youngsters as it’s cheap and offers different kinds of snacks and beverages
Thejaswini M.V
This review is purely based on the jaggery filter coffee which I had in a mug pot. It was amazing. My friend tried mug pot jaggery tea. She was also delighted. Its located just in front of Jyothi Nivas college and it’s not at all hard to find as its on the main road. I haven’t tried their food. Which is little expensive compared to any other Darshinies. <br/><br/>Incase if we haven’t met yet. <br/>IamThejuTheFoodie ☺️

We had a hell of an experience at this place. With my colleagues I thought it would be a good place to hang out but it turned out to a nightmare. We ordered 6-7 items including their signature coffee, tea and cold kappi with hazelnut and strawberry flavours. After ordering we were waiting for our ordered items to get processed but every now and then the head person came to us informing please collect your order without understanding that we want to take everything in one go. After sometime we realised that the order was not processed so we checked at the counter and they asked for the order copy which we couldn't find. We requested them to check in the system but got response saying we don't have any such provision so finally we didn't get half of our order. Coming to what we got, the worst thing was cold kappi which was a sugar drink and extremely terrible which was not different for tea well as their coffee. To some extent samosa and cake were decent but again was compensated by vada and one more local stuff which was too bad as it was uncooked. Overall it was worst experience to forget in a very long time!!
Mrin Moy
the samosa was smelly and stickey... horrible zomato... i kept it aside.. i need refund for the samosa... take back your samosa
Amit Behal
Their filter coffee is amazing. One of my favourites places in bengaluru to have filter coffee, have tried food items like khara baath here , they are also pretty decentZ<br/>

This Hatti Kappi outlet is right next to my office. Sometimes when i miss my breakfast, i just quickly pickup something or eat out their,as there service is quick. Lately i have become a big fan of their Amboda. I usually prefer a plate of mini idli with a cup of tea. They have introduced some cold beverages which i would not recommend.
Pallav Aggarwal
When in south India, one must have a hot cup of filter kaapi. Experience the authentic flavours of their brewed tea and coffees. Relatively you can get great beverages at cheap prices
Crystal Rodrigues
Coffee at its best!!<br/>I've tasted the cold coffee and samosa from here. The filter coffee is just perfect and loved by all. The place has great choices of coffee. The coolers are sweet and chilled. I love the coffee here because it's served natural and at its best.
Ankita Shanbhag
With all pubs, eateries surrounding this shop, its definitely a standout if you feel like indulging on sip of strong hot kaapi (coffee). I tried something different "Organic jaggery coffee" since i generally refrain from white refined sugar and i must say it was as i wanted it to be - Strong, aromatic, mild sweet.<br/>After telling them, i got the coffee in a cutting glass :)
Aditya M R (www.foodrestorank.com)
A small coffee shop which has nothing much to offer than a cup of coffee and few complementary snacks.<br/> It is more like have a quick cup of coffee finish it under 2 minutes and leave, not a place to spend time for long.
Premsteve Martis
Great coffee stop on JNC road which is haven for pubgoers with umpteen number of Pubs and Bars.<br/>Have had the local favourite Filter Coffee, large serving apt for a coffee junkie.<br/>Wish to try more at this place for the options available at this place, hope not to be disappointed with this place and stays here for long.
Arja Apuroop
Favourite Coffee destination! <br/><br/>I always love to take a slight reroute for a cup of coffee at this place. Coffee is brewed in perfect ratio with right amount of caffeine for your mind refreshment! <br/><br/>Love it!
Food Partner
Good but nothing extraordinary coffee. They charge Rs.10 + if you want to drink the coffee in mud cup, and you can take the cup along with you. Will visit again for a strong coffee.
Neethi
Super fast service and an easy take it and go concept is the USP of this place. Their filter coffee, tea and south Indian compact breakfast options are unique, from unde to Mangalore bun to aloo tikki pav. Opens early just in time for breakfast before work or college. However the tables (to stand at, no seating) are few, gets a bit crowded. The service is fast but also hurried. Options are limited, and quantities are small. It's a much needed modern breakfast dhaba in this area. But do not expect an ambience or a grand culinary spread.
Jyoti Bansal
Its a place where one can never find hot food and can never come with fuller experience. <br/>Very lethargic staff. Seems like not ready to work. We ordered idli sambhar. Trust me, nothing in plate was even delectable. Sambhar was cold. Idli just as usual. When asked to hot the sambhar, its like our words got evaporated before it could reach their ears. <br/>Snack items were more. But not so very tasty, like samosa, peanut masala tikki.<br/>The coffee was the only item there which can be reviewed well. <br/>We went there by the ratings of the place on zomato. We were dissappointed badly. We went for breakfast and i couldn't find the worst way to start your morning by having any food there.
Foodislife
I ordered Filter Kappi in Mud Pot. Strong Filter Coffee it taste good and the quality of coffee is also good.<br/>Note:For Your Note Please Dont Drink in Paper Cup Because it is made with wax material and not good for health !! Drink in Glass or Mud Pot . Not Specifically in this shop even outside also .
Ashish Bansal (foodie.prorido.com)
The place looks attractive from outside & with the kullad based coffee style. We found the service to be very slow & so much slow that you would actually end up forgetting what you ordered. The staff is not flexible at all & the same person is washing the floor & serving the food without washing the hands. Most of the snacks are provided owen hot & to so much heating is done that the food losses its original shape & taste. Extremely bad experience.
Megha
Such a cute little shop serving coffee. The sir who sits as the cashier is such a polite and sweet gentleman, and their filter coffee tastes amazing.
Z!nN@ (Food Hunger)
One of my friend told me about this outlet. I went there to drink coffee. It was superb. It reminded me the South Indian filter coffee. Service was quick. Price is effordable but there is no place of seating. Afterall was good.
Krishna (foodieyogikrishna)
<br/>Hatti Kaapi fulfilled the need for a Desi coffee shop chain where one doesn't need to spend few 100s of rupees for coffee and expect "a lot to happen over coffee"😊😊 (pun intended).  In many ways it is like the chai point , albeit the central theme is  coffee. Their business' success story 👍 is well reported.<br/><br/>I find them well staffed during my visits and while passing by. A variety of snacks like samosas , vada Pav, maddur vada etc... serve as good accompaniments to coffee. The mud coffee tumbler is available<br/><br/>The bisibelebath was pretty decent for a Rs.30 dish. Will do the job as a mini breakfast.  The coffee at Rs.18 was aromatic and good. The quantity was fulfilling too. Haven't ventured into their cold coffees and shakes yet.  Wasn't tempted to !! 😊<br/><br/>***Summary scores ***<br/>Taste - 3.5/5<br/>Quality/Service/Ambience - 4/5<br/>Value for money - 4/5<br/>Portion size - 4/5<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

It is very pocket friendly, fast service. <br/>I just had a black coffee after a long time. The snack items are good apparently. So, try it out if you are craving for a good coffee which you don't get in small stalls or which is too expensive in other restaurants and hangout places.
Kaushik R Jai
We ordered black current milk shake , outlet is very small , you can just go have a quick bite or take away. It is located close to jnc , service was good and the prices are reasonable.
Dipanjan Das
A nice place in 5th Block for breakfast or snacks, like the idlis ,the lemon tea is refreshing. The service is also good, a nice place for a quick bite.
Jenifer
Amazing place to have filter coffee. They serve delicious cookies as well. Do try out the coffee cookies combination.<br/>Good place to chill out.<br/>Usually this place is crowded. No seating arrangements available.<br/><br/>
Rajdip Sura
Visited this place on a Sunday evening. I desperately wanted a nice coffee to quench my thirst. I had already tried their airport outlet once before. So here I had filter coffee and masala peanut bun. Both were really good.
Debleena Bose
Great place to enjoy filter coffee. Their service is good and they keep the place clean. There other varieties to try out. Looking forward to visit this place and try out different varieties.
Poonam
If you love filter coffee than this place is simply great for you..Just love the coffee here...By now i can say i am addict to it... And most important...superfast service!
Sonu Antony
A small outlet located right opposite  Black Pearl. It delivers what it promises to deliver. The Cold Coffees are worth the price. And it also offers you a variety of choices like Hazel Nut, Irish cream, Butterscotch and Chocolate. If you're strolling on the road and the mid day sun is at its blazing best, theres nothing better than gulping down one or two glasses of cold coffees from Hatti Kaapi. Haven't tried the filter coffees here, though the mini samosas were cheap and tasty. No places to sit, but theres a shade and some tables to stand around and chat away.
Devanshu Srivastava [Part Of Almighty]
I had tea and filter coffee both at Hatti Kaapi. While the filter coffee was great in taste and quality but the tea was underwhelming with tea leaves coming in mouth. It was not filtered well. However, it's a good place for coffee lovers.
Pallavi De
This is our favourite place for filter coffee. I like the mango and badam milkshake. I am nit a fan of tea or coffee but a sweet place to hangout.
Sneha Simon
Heaven for coffee lovers...Great coffee in clay pots with Hatti samosas s best thing u cn Hav fr a evening snacks...Quite reasonable and good service.
Manoj_sunday
It was a cold evening,v had ordered for a hussel nut cold coffee, normal coffee, ginger tea, aalu bun, and vada. which was good,.....<br/><br/><br/><br/>..
Meenal Gupte
Small little Fast food joint.<br/>Superfast service, clean kitchen and decent food. <br/>Coffee and badam milk is great. Food is pretty much average, nothing to die for, but nothing to complain as well. <br/>Good to grab a quick bite on the go. <br/>But if you are looking for car park....god...good luck!!<br/>I wouldn't mind going again! <br/>
Fatboyslim
If ur a sucker for filter coffee like me , im sure you will like this place . This place is more like a darshini than a cafe , in the sense there is no place to sit or hang out but a small quick bite menu and brilliant coffee to offer . I quiet like their Bella coffee or jaggery coffee which was how coffee was served in the old days otherwise it's their regular filter coffee that I ask for ....the short eats are ok ok nothing great to write about.<br/><br/>Cheers
Somil Sahu
Amazing coffee and prompt service. Most frequented coffee outlet and economical too.<br/>Snack items are good too.<br/>Interesting list of beverages.
Chef "The Foodiee"
Small place located on busy street of 5th block and quit close by to JNC. This place is purely for walking crowds and students to have quick bite. No seating and it is just like tea and snacks having on road side.<br/>Different type of tea available and aroma of coffee is superb. Nice and tasty snacks gives essence of taste.<br/><br/>Ambience 2/5<br/>Location 4/5<br/>Service 3/5<br/>Food 3.5/5

A South Indian would definitely understand the inherent love for the traditional, strong, aromatic Filter coffee that is made with the right mixture of coffee powder and chicory. Although Darshinis serve filter coffee, strong filter coffee made at local South Indian home is not commonly available in Bangalore. Hatti Kaapi surely gets this right. <br/><br/>Located near JNC, this Hatti Kaapi outlet is small and compact. The concept is stand, sip and enjoy your cup of coffee with accompaniments like aloo bun, maddur vade, nucchina unde, peanut masala bun etc. The snacks available here are mostly typical South Indian ones, except the samosa I believe. <br/><br/>The Maddur vade or aloo bun go quite well with the coffee. This place is crowded usually, as they make good filter coffee. it does give a good competition to the neighbour CCD. Pricing is reasonable, and it's a lovely coffee outlet for someone who needs to grab a quick cup of coffee.
Bengaluru Food Walks
Hatti kaapi! <br/>Well know kisko coffee outlets in Bengaluru! This was kormangala outlet, located on JNC Road. Quite big outlet, where they have Hot Beverages, quick bites, cold Beverage and snacks. <br/>Early morning, wat do we except, a cup of caffeine to kick start our day. <br/>Coffee was not so strong nor so lite, it was decent enough to change your buds.
Giju Elizabeth Joseph
I am a big fan of their idli chutney and the strong coffee. Its very much Brahmin style idli with typical south Indian chutney... take the coffee in matka for the earthy feeler 😃
Yash Kaundilya
A small coffee shop near Jyoti Nivas College that also serves few of the popular south indian dishes like idli, vada, bisi bele bhaath. Usually crowded, is good for evening snacks.
Mayuri Nidigallu
Really love their strong filter coffee and Maddur Vade! Those sweet and salty biscuits go really well with the coffee too.<br/>The location is super convenient and despite 'standing room only' it's always crowded whenever I'm there. Service is super quick.<br/>Have tried their other snacks, Uddin Vade, Samosa, and was disappointed, except for the Masala Peanut Buns.<br/>I also buy their filter coffee powder occasionally, to enjoy the coffee at home.
Sagar Bhat
Hatti Kaapi is all about the super strong filter coffees!! <br/>Excellent coffee aromas :) The snacks (like potato buns) are pretty good as well, makes for a small snack with the coffee. <br/>Service - Have some basic operational issues. The staff sometimes look confused and hence delay the orders, but they should be able to fix this and provide a great service. <br/>Ambience - nothing much to speak as this is more like a darshani and one doesnt go here for ambience. <br/>Food quality - this has to be the best part here.. Go for coffee you ardent coffee fans!!
Harsh Dhiman
Overrated<br/>I don't know why everyone has rated it so well. I hated the place, the coffee was expensive, the owner was rude and the aloo bun was not made to be eaten and I had to throw it away. Waste of money. They don't prepare fresh food but sell old one, which is ironical because any south India restaurant always offered freshly made food.<br/>
Rajkiran Sattigeri
One of the strong aromatic coffees tasted here.... though could not taste any of the snacks there!!<br/>Nothing great or extra ordinary to mention about the coffee!!<br/>But yea... Recommended to taste!!
Nimish Gupta
South Indian coffee is famous for it's aromatic/ sweet flavors. The aroma is largely due to the chicory added, and the sweetness is from lots of sugar. One of the best filter coffees is served at Hatti Kaapi - plus they have the options of sugar free coffee, coffee with organic jaggery instead of sugar, "pure coffee (no chicory)", and a lot of traditional south Indian food on offer.<br/><br/>During the summers, my favorite drink at Hatti Kaapi is the cold coffee - asked for with half-milk, no sugar, double coffee, and whisked for a very short duration (so the crunch of the ice still stays). Rest of the year - it's just the regular coffee which I adore here.<br/><br/>In terms of food - the Bisi-bele bhaath was pretty good, healthy with lots of vegetables and a generous portion of khaara boondi on top. The "Nucchina Unde" was something I've never tried before - steamed "dumplings" of lentils with lots of spices - this was delicious too.
Karthik Jayaraman
Very very good coffee, they serve here. Just put a lil less sugar and you will enjoy the good coffee. But sometimes, the milk around 2 pm on a working day is not so good, but other than that its wow!
Muhammad Pb
Went for a walk in koramangla and saw this small place and tried the coffee here.I tried the pot coffee and the normal one.both were good.and I tried the mini idli.it was not so good but OK.this shop doesn't really need a review.
Geet Kalsy
I am a huge fan of Hatti Kaapi. Their cold coffees are a delight in summers. Very well made, the taste of coffee is in it is heaven on my taste buds. Their filter coffee is undoubtedly amazing. The cookies and mini munchies are all great. I only wish they had a seating. Overall, a great spot for coffee lovers and this place certainly beats the neighbouring coffee shops and restaurants in similar approach and vicinity.
Anupama Dolekar Shivacharya
This iconic joint has refreshing it's customers from years now and it's known for its coffee and other refreshments. We also ordered for mini idlis, which came in a bowl with sambar and made for a perfect evening snack.
Pragyan Hota
A cute little place to have cup of authentic coffee and some snacks. The feel of having a coffee in a glass cup or in a small mud pot is different. The coffee tastes really good and in an affordable price. And the good thing is the glass cups are sterilized. Also it has introduced cool smoothie too.
Anwesha Mazumder
Had been wanting to try hatti kaapi's filter coffee so dropped by this place in the evening...located near jyoti niwas college next to CCD.<br/><br/>We had the famous filter coffee which totally lived up to its name...I can say it's one of the best filter coffees in Bangalore hands down..we also did order the samosa, hatti special samosa, the vada pao and another dish, the name I do not recall.<br/><br/>The samosa taste good and fresh, the hatti kaapi had such yummy Chinese filling of various veggies..the vada pao was moderately spicy but it didn't have the masala mirchi as an accompanient... the biggest disappointment was the one made of urad dal,it was bland...steamed...couldn't finish it.<br/><br/>I would definitely come back for the coffee!!
Suchismita
Had heard a lot about the place but was a tad disappointed. Half the things we wanted to try weren't available. Had the filter coffee, which was decent, but the cold coffees were very disappointing. The caramel coffee tasted like it had coconut syrup in it!!
Bala Ganesh Muralidharan
This is a small restaurant opposite to Jyoti Nivas College.. When you cross this place you ll get a aroma of coffee which will pull towards it. The coffee and tea over here is very good.. And they also have pot coffee which they serve in small mud pot tumbler. The snacks over here also very good, especially the masala bun. Today I had mini idlis dipped in sambar. This is best place for quick bite.. Most of all I like their logo.😁
Poojitha
A small place opposite Jyothi Nivas serves authentic coffee and tea along with interesting snacks.<br/><br/>Must Try their cold coffee available in Hazelnut, caramel, vanilla, Irish and chocolate flavours. They taste perfect and is extremely refreshing. Prices are very reasonable.<br/>Overall, best place to grab quick snack and coffee.<br/>
CoLors Of LiFe
Really enjoy the coffee that's been offered by them, hope they had some good seating arrangement along with hot samosas, bhajis and vada... Yum yum yum ... I am totalllly salivating!!!<br/><br/>I hope the management is listening to my suggestionzzzz.......
Ananya Rath
Tiny and affordable place to have coffee and snacks with friends. Had the organic coffee and normal coffee. Coffee fans definitely go to this place.<br/>
Prabhat Kudwa
Your prices are reasonable. More varieties like Paav bhaji, Goli baje, fried raw banana to be added. Suggestion box to be kept at  your units. Tea also to be served. All the best
Nitesh Vaidya
This is an awesome street side shop with lots of options for a quick bite and options for tea and coffee. With some healthy options too. Great place and not at all expensive. The only thing bad about this is I have heard a lot of 'not available'.
Madhu S
If they had some table on the sidewalk in front of the eatery, it would have been so lovely.<br/>The tea was good, samosa was eatable and the prices makes it favourable choice for quite often visits when in the neighbourhood.
Ankit Tiwari
Good and pocket friendly place to have evening snacks , try there hatti samosa and badam milk , the aalu samosa is good in taste but they are not crunchy
Divya Patelkhana
Pocket friendly yet refreshing filter coffee chain in the city one ought not  to miss. Their snacks make up for the bite-sized cravings you have on a chilly evening while sipping on your coffee/tea.
Madhu Ramachandran
Loooove this place! Great little stand reminiscent of village life in India where real coffee comes served in small clay cups with fresh milk for a few rupees (12 for a great, strong cuppa or 25 for the coffee with a clay pot!). Outstanding service and price for a great product. Love that they also seem very concerned about health and environmental issues.
Jude Mascarenhas
Had the organic jaggery coffee in the little clay matka. Coffee was rich and the jaggery added a unique flavor, however it required a lot of stirring to actually dissolve the jaggery. <br/><br/>Taste-wise it was delicious. I would suggest that the jaggery be implemented as a syrup rather than a chunk.
Alok Nanda Prasad
Love the khara baath here. Hatti samosa is another favorite. The quantity of tea/coffee/milk varies depending on the mood of the person serving it - sometimes as low as half a glass for full price! And no thanks to the garbage collection point right opposite the outlet, one has to deal with the stench more often than not.
San
Use to visit coffee Day but for quick coffee time I visit this place. Coffee taste just like South style. If you are passing by no need to enter inside just available at entrance. Hygiene.
Danish Nadeem
Good place to have tea.. They have variety of tea and coffee along with light snacks..<br/>But.. No place to sit.. :(<br/><br/>We ordered ginger tea which was quite good in taste.. They made it using ginger/ tea powder which was mixed with sweet hot milk.. You need to stir the tea properly before having a sip.. :p
Varun Gupta
I don't why i love this place, but i love it thats all<br/><br/>Amazing hot coffee , yum Hatti samosa and Tastiest aalo samosa.<br/><br/>Just go sip a coffee and enjoy hot samosas.
Hitesh Dhanwani
Usually i don't take coffee, but after having Pot coffee at Hatti kappi I am in love with coffee. Great place to have tea/coffee/snacks with friends.
Ram Sridhara
Best place to have filter coffee. I love to have coffee all the time but doesn't match with my mothers coffee. It does truly made the justice and the prices are very much affordable.!!!
Chirag Gahlaut
you wont believe how good this small tea shop is.. serves great filter kaapi as mentioned in the name and good food also.. i come here whenever i want to have filter kaapi..
Ankit Kumar
A roadside place with really awesome street food. The samosa's are too good, both Aloo Samosa and Hatti Samosa. I did not like the Nuchina Unde, but one should try as many things as possible here. It's just a little more than a stall but is located at a very prime location in Koramangala and is generally very crowded on evenings. Ginger tea and coffee are worth a try here. <br/>My Ratings -<br/>Value for money - 5.0<br/>Taste and Quality - 4.0<br/>Ambiance - 3.5<br/>Service - 3.5<br/>Overall - 4.0
Varsha Khandelwal
Nice small tea stall and offers good tea/coffee. If you are passing by and like to drink tea/coffee then its nice place. I visited atleast twice and i actually enjoyed it.
Pratheek Ponnappa (Grubitizer.com)
This place mocks it's neighbour (CCD) so openly! That feel of filter "kaapi" along with host of snacks (aloo bun my favourite 😆) is next to nothing. One of those very few pocket friendly places (w.r.t tea coffee etc) in this street!
Nivedita Nayak
Hatti Kaapi remains one of my favorite places that I stop by for some yummm-not always available- Puliyogre
Vinay Ahuja
If there is a second place in bangalore that makes me fall in love with bissi belle bath it is Hatti Kaapi. The coffee is the typical filter coffee but what i come for is their delicious belle bath. It is a must try and so very reasonable..
Sweta Chatterjee
Having hot Ginger tea at 10.30 pm. I am totally mad for tea Coffe. Love their ginger tea and Coffe regular. Quantity is enough looking at the price. The only reason I am giving 3.5 rating is they don't have any place to sit or keep the cups and stand. It is located at just 100 m far from the busiest Empire Hotel so its a good place to get customers also. Overall you can have a good tea after your dinner at cheap price comparing than the other tea shops or cafes.
Mithra Ramesh
Hatti Kaapi is a great place to just stop by for some street coffee. Simple place, good ground filter coffee and very reasonable rates.Been here a million times. I distinctly remember the first time I stepped in here on a cold rainy evening and coffee in this place was perfect. They also sell coffee powder which is really good. Its fresh and does not lose aroma very soon. They sell some delicious potato buns as well. Its a very simple place and they offer coffee to absolute perfection
Rashmi Yellamelli
