Review Salvadores - Bengaluru

Sandeep Mohapatra
It was a great experience at the Salvadores, although the menu could have been a little more extensive for my liking but given that it was a Christmas menu it was just enough. Ambiance - 4/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5 The best part about the service is that it left like home, it felt so comforting and everything you wanted was just right there. All the staffs were so friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty, however the menu could have been designed in a better way to include a little details on how the dishes are cooked for example., fried, deep-fried, roasted, etc. we ended up having same thing twice (almost similar tastes). Wine collections are great, they should continue to grow more collections. Overall the ambiance had a very positive influence on our moods and added 5 star to our Christmas celebrations.

Hidden Gem at the heart of Bangalore!! This is on the 5th floor of central (now closed) mall. With central closed, it looked like a deserted place however when you go to the 5th floor terrace, it's a different world. Terrace seating is amazing , if you are going in the Evening it might get cold though. We went there in a Sunday afternoon for lunch, since it's Diwali there wasn't any crowd. We ordered butter garlic prawn, bacon wrapped sausage for starters and a bottle of Australian wine. They have pretty decent wine collection plus the starters really go well with the wine. Quantity for that price could be bit more however that's not a show stopper!! We ordered steak, Italian chicken and one more grill for main course, I must say the food here is worth the drive!! In summary, amazing ambience, excellent food and extraordinary service. I wonder how did I miss this place so far!!

We had our lunch on their open terrace and Bangalore's weather complemented it multiple times. The servers were very nice and kept us entertained and served with perfection. Overall a very nice experience with authentic Italian cuisine.

Searching for exquisite cuisine and calm place to sit and talk with friends I found this. Easily located behind the (old) Bangalore central with good parking space. You may have to reserve a table even if it is vacant. As you enter you can just touch up a little in front of the mirror before entering the lift. As you reach the last floor to the top you are welcomed by the person to guide you enter. Note they have a dress code, shorts, T shirts are not allowed. The staff receive you with a smile and make you comfortable. Plan to reach early as their kitchen closes by 10 PM. Washrooms are at a common place for all three hotels on that floor. With fresh flowers on the table and the light above makes it wonderful. You can have outdoor seating as well, there is a smoking area allowing you to look at the beautiful view of the city. The food served is very delicious and presented awesome. If you are looking for heavy food this is not the place. We tried Brie and walnut crostini as appetizer, Tagliatelle Alla Fungi Tartufu, Canneloni Di Florentine as pasta which tasted too good. Do not miss the dessert, I prefer Tiramisu. The cost is more and worth the food. Booking a cab from here would be difficult as the drivers deny saying one way. Overall I had a great experience. Ask me anything you want me to answer, please like or comment if this was helpful

We celebrated our 16th anniversary at Salvadores. Absolutely fab Mediterranean wine bar with that old world charm. Amazing collection of wines. They have a small menu but what they have is spot on. Cedric to managedmour table gave amazing recommendations and pairing suggestions. The food is incredible. That tenderloin steak is perhaps one of the best I've had for a long time. Perfectly medium rare. It was juicy and cut like butter with a regular knife. Didn't even need the steak knife. Along with the sauce, oh boy. Meena Menon loved the chimmicurri fish as well. The smoked duck salad and the pan seared scallops as appetizers were incredible. Ended with a lovely tiramisu and espresso shot. Club rules apply. Round neck t-shirts and shirts without collars and slippers/sandals not allowed. Well worth the experience.

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Bangalore. It's fantastic for special occasions, in my case, my girlfriend's birthday dinner. Food was excellent, but the service was the standout for me because it was exceptional! The waiters and service staff were so nice and friendly to us. And although it's an upscale restaurant, it was completely within our budget and affordable, especially if you're vegetarian. Prices are almost exactly the same as any of the fancier restaurants in Indiranagar. We had a wonderful time and we'll definitely be going back!

My favorite place in Bangalore Love the food We had brie as a starter and smoked duck salad, and for the main we had steak Victoria and beef tenderloin and it was outstanding Will go back for sure to try the rest of the menu ❤️

I went to Salvadores about three weeks ago, on holiday and LOVED the views from the restaurant. The atmosphere is like nothing else in Bangalore for a nice steak and wine combo. Or in my case that day, a chicken and espresso combo. Service was great and what you’d expect with fine dining. An all round great spot for a reunion, anniversary or just a nice night out! Dinner for two with wine can come up to about INR 3,500-4,000 Dinner without alcohol is around 2,000-2,500

This hidden gem offers a delightful dining experience. With an intimate ambiance, attentive staff, and mouthwatering dishes, it's a must-visit for food and wine enthusiasts. From start to finish, every moment is filled with charm and flavor, leaving you craving more.

Great food, nice ambience. It was refreshing to dine at a place that is quiet, plays soft music and allows you to have conversations. Spent a good 2.5 hours here. Chimichurri Fish made me want to visit again soon.

Must go!! Very nice ambience and food. The view is also nice. Extremely nice staff who explain the food and the wine pairing if you haven't tried that before. Make sure you try the wine, especially the non Indian white wines. Pair that with something spicy and you will have a night to remember. Food is not on the expensive side, but keep that wine in check 😃

The menu was limited and it was a let down. The food that we tried was good. Lobster Thermidor was good, not the best that I have tried. Shepherds Pie was pretty below Average. Pasta and starters were decent. The ambience was good however it being in a deserted building takes the charm away from this otherwise upmarket restaurant. Tiramisu was good. Lavonne makes it better.

You haven't experienced fine dining, till you've been to Salvadore's. Food is delectable. I would have licked my plate clean, if it weren't for the manners. Thank you for the service.

An old school charm, love everything about this place. A perfect setting for a date or just an outing with family. The ambience is very pleasant, service is wonderful and food is good. They do take great care in the plating of their food, such a feast to the eye. Absolutely love this place. Will definitely be coming back soon.

A dining experience that we will remember. Super Continental food. Veg food was as awesome as the nonveg. Just a word... There is no take away here (fine dinning in it's true sense) ...so go here hungry so that you finish your meals.

Amazing decor and a beautiful yet classy ambience. Rustic yet contemporary feel when you enter the dining area. There's seating available outside overseeing the skyscrapers in Bangalore. But we preferred to be seated inside. To the Right hand corner was the kitchen area (where we possibly could see what's cooking) adjacent to the pub like setup. The service was pretty good and the food very tasty. This place is a must visit for wine lovers. However I would have liked it if we could have more choice for vegetarians. They do have a decent spread of desserts as well.

If one likes an old world service and atmosphere then this lovely restaurant fills every desire. The soup was delicious and tasted even better served in a proper soup plate. The pumpkin risotto was also delicious. I would also advise never to share the Tiramisu, it is so delicious, a great way to end the meal. The service was excellent, executed under the watchful eye of Noel.

Absolutely loved the food. Great service and recommendations. The scallops were top notch. We ordered Rigatoni Bolognaise, braised lamb shanks and grilled chimichurri sea bass fish. Lamb shanks were so good! Well cooked, the sauce and the Risotto. Mild and flavourful! Next best was the pasta, absolutely loved the al dante texture of pasta and rich sauce but not too heavy which is the good part. Chimichurri fish was a little dry. Would have liked it with a bit more of chimichurri sauce. Can't complain about service. One of the best in the recent past. They were clearly able to explain wine and food. We got some wonderful wine recommendations.

Everything we had here was amazing. Service and staff were really nice. I've never had prawns that tasted THIS good! All of this plus the music and vibe really makes you feel like you're in Mediterranean setting. I personally prefer outdoor seating. It's really beautiful especially at night!
Kumar Harsh
Very beautiful ambience, highly courteous staffs, very tasty food and desserts. The food is always fresh and the ingredients they use are of high quality. Perfect for a date❤. Must Visit!!

We had a reservation for 1:30pm but landed up at 1:00pm and found the restaurant was empty. So I preferred to sit on a outside table, which they gave me.<br/><br/>The restaurant, even with a social distancing on their tables had a nice feed to it.<br/><br/>They had an extensive wine list but we chose a Grover red and a rose.<br/><br/>For starters I had Grilled chicken Skewers with Harris's Sauce, beautifully done.<br/><br/>We ordered Mediterranean Grilled chicken which was moist but the sauce could have been more flavorful, and a spaghetti in tomato sauce(Marinara) which was perfect.<br/><br/>All in all we had a good time, service was excellent.<br/><br/>I would give a 5 STAR rating all in total.....
Sharon
Food was poorly made and not worth the time or money.

<br/>Ambience 🛋🖼<br/>I stumbled upon this place on a food blog coz until then I did not know this extravagant restaurant was hiding on top of a shopping mall. They have a lovely rooftop view with patio furniture just like in France. And they have trul capture the essence of fine dining. <br/><br/>What’s up for grabs 🍽🥢<br/>They have fashioned their menu card in quite an extensive way. They have handful of dishes but bring them to you in perfection. <br/>- Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, one of the delightful Italian dish I’ve had. Of all the times I’ve been there I’ve never missed to order this. <br/>- Grilled chimmichuri fish steak, the meat was quite fresh and the lightness of the parsley and red wine reduced sauce brought it all together <br/>- Blueberry cheesecake, it might not look in the ideal Roanoke shape you were hoping for, but it taste so good, you would destroy it. <br/>- Key lime pie, I wasn’t very happy with this selection. The cheesecake really set the bar high. <br/><br/>Service 🤵🏻🍾<br/>Extraordinary service was provided. The staff was very pleasant to talk to and very suggestive about the menu. <br/>If chivalry was a waiter, they would be working at Salvadores. <br/><br/>Cost ₹₹₹₹

It’s one of the best places for Italian food in Bangalore, situated in the heart of the city.<br/><br/>This restaurant has an amazing collection of Wines and famous for Cheesy Pastas !<br/><br/>We ordered Chicken Fingers, Cheesy Pasta accompanied with croissants and it’s yummy dip and no complaints about the food.<br/><br/>To be honest the stewards were very polite and majestic which made my women’s day lunch date a fantabulous one, will definitely visit back !! Shreyas Naidu. ❤️

Ordered the pork chops, saffron infused risotto, spinach ricotta, slow cooked chicken, tiramisu. <br/>My personal fav was the pork chops and spinach ricotta. All dishes were rich in flavour and the quantity was quite good for a fine dining restaurant. The prices are really high. The tiramisu was very average but everything else was really good. They give you different types of bread in the beginning and they’re beautiful, soft and fluffy. <br/>Must try restaurant.

This lands in top 5 of Italian restaurants for me.<br/>Ambiance: Rooftop overlooking MG Road, very quite. Perfect. Tables are kept at ample distance to give you privacy.<br/>Service: Attentive staff and very courteous. <br/>Food:<br/>While we wait for order, we were served with bread basket and butter. Their breads are fresh and nice.<br/>Cream of mushroom soup. good one very tasty.<br/>Chicken Ceaser salad. Well it sounds boring but it was not.<br/>Cannelloni Florentine: Its a baked pasta. Cannelloni looks like penne but a lot bigger in size. So that filling can reap inside pasta easily. then it is baked. Spinach and Ricotta are a perfect combination. A must try for vegetarians.<br/>Grilled Chimichuri fish: The fish steak was very good and chimichuri sauce was tasty. Masjed potato and veggies were also well done.<br/>Dessert: we shared a Blueberry cheesecake. The blueberries are so chunky that one popped, now I have a stain on my shirt. Thats the level of quality ingredient you can expect here.<br/>They have a huge collection of wine, we tried couple of them, loved it.<br/><br/>Over all perfect for a quite dinner. A must try in Bangalore.

The chicken liver starter was very unique. Pork ribs was amazing too. The place is very romantic and sophisticated. It was a worth visit.

Salvadores is a blissful #rooftoprestaurant with a whole lot of great ambience, interiors, view and food.<br/><br/>As always, I went in for #Spaghetti Marinara, and this one turned out to be one of the bestest I have ever had! For #dessert, I went for a #blueberrycheesecake. It was crispy, buttery, and creamy, and the plating was really attractive too.<br/><br/>If you're feeling fancy, looking for a place to celebrate or just peacefully chill, I would totally recommend giving #Salvadores at Central Mall, MG Road #Bengaluru, a try. It's sure to give you a heartful dining experience.

Good food and Great service...

I went on Valentine's date here. Waiting for the last 35min no one turned up to take the order. Horrible service... The server told me outside is not fine dine so we don't care. The ambiance is good, inside ambiance was very nice. Won't be coming to this place again for sure. I don't know why call this fine dine when there is no respect. The rate for none fine dine is bombed costly... And they rudely told food will be served only after 30min.<br/><br/>Bacon-wrapped shrimp was cold and super salty<br/>What a horrible day!! Horrible food guys.. Pasta uncooked.. Chicken bland....

Salvadores was on my list for a long time now and we finally came here for my birthday. I had a great time here yesterday night and sat at one fo the tables on the rooftop looking over the metro running. <br/><br/>We ordered a plate of grilled chimichurri fish steak and a plate of chicken fettuccini alfredo along with crispy fried fish. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. The ambience was great and to our surprise, there were no mosquitos.<br/><br/>Salvadores is on the fifth floor of Central Mall.

As mentioned in all the reviews, the food, ambience and service was perfect. It was interesting to see such a quaint place right in the city.<br/><br/>I party liked the Chicken Cordon Bleu - the sauce was perfect and the chicken was breaded really well. Though the menu might seem small, their perfection to everything we had from appetizers to wine was perfect.<br/><br/>It was for our anniversary and it was really sweet how they accommodated our friend's request to surprise us with a cake all over a phone call.<br/><br/>Their vision to delight people with their service is clear from all their staff especially their duty manager Blake took care of every table with ease!
Preeti Prashanth
A restaurant where the servers actually properly know what's on the menu. From the time we asked them about the menu to placing the order and receiving the food, we were so confident that it would be amazing. The roast chicken is definitely one of the best I have had in Bangalore. Tender and juicy bone-in meat. My husband had the tenderloin and he sweeped the plate. The menu is very brief and to the point, shows off it's proud food. This place is ideal for a date or even when you just want good food.
Harshita
A restaurant on MG road with a great view. We went around 6 PM in the evening, they had a VERY LIMITED menu at that time. The staff were rather bothered by the fact that we came at 6 (even though the restaurant was open). They weren’t very polite and were rather very lazy to serve! It took them so much time to even give us the menu!<br/>After ordering the food, they told us we could not apply the zomato gold (like wtf!).<br/>We ordered aglio olio and mac n cheese which were great ;)

This place has a lovely old world charm with a beautiful ambience and some jazz music playing in the background. The place was less crowded when we went on a weekday and we could easily get a table without booking. Food was excellent, we had Mushroom Cappuccino soup, Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Chimmichuri Fish - everything was delicious. For desserts we had Blueberry Cheese Cake and it was heavenly. Staff was polite and helpful. All in all, we had a lovely evening.

Honestly not impressed by the place.. I saw the pictures and got so excited about the place.. but I was miserably disappointed.. spaghetti was bland dessert was OK place was so dull no music nothing but there was only one man taking care of us he was so good over all not a great experience not gonna visit again

One would never expect such a classy place on top of  Bangalore Central mall. Fine dining setup with  Great views. Friendly staff. Only wine, no full bar.Nice food with complementary bread basket

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨<br/>This place has a great ambiance for a date, its a very European place with a fancy and cafe type feeling on the roof top. I was here for my first anniversary, they gave us complimentary champagne witn cheese olive and jam taster. we ordered:<br/><br/>Garlic Bread with Cheese: this was amazing and we reordered this instead of dessert.<br/><br/>Fettuccini mushroom Spinach: This was a bit bland so i had to add pepper to it.<br/><br/>Shrimp pasta: is what was served to my girl and she loved it and the taste was on point. *Fun fact: Chicken pasta don't exist in Italy. Its either seafood or pork. *<br/><br/>Drinks: I had coke, which to my surprise was served as i like it with no lime and no ice and really chilled.<br/>And to balance the equation she had white wine which she liked ♥️.

Absolutely loved the food and service. Truly one of the best fine dining spots in the city!

Pretty Ambience, makes you feel like dining in a traditional European salon.. good food and very courteous service. Quantity could be improved.

Had a great time. Loved their breads, tenderloin steak and their chimchuri fish. They could improve their wine collection. I loved the ambience. Perfect for a date night.

Fine dining experience with roast turkey, grandmas secret chicken and plethora of wine options. One of the best Christmas cuisines in Bangalore city. Ambience is lively with soothing jazz music around.
Rachit Singh
Super fine dining with good food. Ambience is great and the servers are very courties. A surprise located in the centre of Bangalore.

I went here with my best friend and it was a perfect evening. The ambience is simply exquisite. The staff is friendly and courteous. We ordered spinach and corn au gratin and it was really cheesy and delicious.the view from the rooftop dining was picturesque. I would definitely visit the place again.

The Authenticity of the place is what that caught our attention. The best Aglio e olio pasta till date..<br/>Great ambience, great service and what a view at night.<br/>Good Italian with subtle music and great food!!!<br/><br/>My friend Kiran Kumar Huded loves the chicken tenders.<br/>I love, love, loved the pasta!! ..<br/>Well done.. loads of love!!

We visited this place on a Tuesday night after finishing a movie (we had reservations for 10pm). The place is beautiful and the view is breath taking. It gave me the European Christmas vibes. From the rooftop, the metro can be seen passing by, it somehow reminded me of the Hogwarts Express. In fact seated on the rooftop enjoying the slight chilly breeze of Bangalore, was a completely different experience in itself.<br/>Coming to service; courteous, prompt and helpful <br/>Food: The food was delicious. We ordered cream of broccoli soup, and grilled chimichurri fish steak and grilled snapper for main course. For dessert we shared a chocolate tart. Presentation was beautiful and taste was a full 5/5.<br/>This visit will be a memorable one for me as it was one of the most romantic dinner dates I have ever had. As a bonus we had the entire place to ourselves. Hope to visit again soon, this time during the day to enjoy the view.

Another Underrated old Bangalore Hideout<br/><br/>Victoria Hotel at the beginning of Commissariat Road heartbreakingly succumbed to the unruly growth of downtown Bangalore. Located at the same place (5th floor of Bangalore Central y’all) above the madding rush of the Mayo Hall junction below is Salvadores, a lovely all day breakfast, meat and potatoes getaway. <br/><br/>Serving excellent continental fare this place is a must visit. The food we tried included two white wines but more importantly ordered the paneer shashlik, coq au vin and spinach ricotta au gratin. <br/><br/>The flavors were robust and portions while looking small are quite filling Limited but adequate vegetarian options are available with no compromise on taste or quality. Steak lovers will love this place though. Uday, who served us, offered good recommendations of wines and entrees. <br/><br/>So to sum up : excellent location, great ambience, superb fare and caring service what more to say! Just loosen your belt, splurge a little and enjoy a slow laid back evening in namma Bengaluru’s well kept secret... Salvadores. psst : I am sure your significant other will notch you up significantly on the “is classy” and “has good taste” scales.

Undoubtedly the best fine dine in Bangalore
Vishnu Rajes
Best restaurant in Bangalore. Serves prime continental cuisine. Sophisticated old time style and touch. Must try steak tenderloin, shrimp scampi, salad, blueberry cheesecake
Yámíní Reddy
Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was some of the best I’ve eaten in the city - way better than Sunny’s,<br/>JW Marriott, Toscano’s, and the likes. The service was equally great! We had the pork chops, shrimp scampi, and the watermelon and feta salad. We concluded our meal with a blueberry cheesecake which was divine!

Me, my wife and my mom visited the place on a Thursday night to celebrate my mom's birthday. Being a Thursday night it wasn't that crowded which was good for us as we more or less got undivided attention from the crew at Salvadores. The ambience is lovely. Very classily and tastefully done. The opening impression itself was so great. Coming to the food and drinks, it certainly did not disappoint. They are a wine bar and their selection of wines is absolutely amazing. They have a wide variety of wines ranging from Indian wines to wines from all across the globe. While I don't remember the names of the wines we had, my mom had red wine which originally was from Spain and me and my wife had white wine which was from Argentina. Along with the wine we had Cheese & Garlic Crostini and Corn & Chili Cheese toast. Both the appetizers were perfect along with the wine. For the main course, I had the Grilled Chimichurri Fish Steak, my wife had the Grilled Cottage Cheese Florentine Steak and my mom had the Cous Cous with Grilled Vegetables. All the dishes were very tasty.the Chimichurri fish steak was absolutely lip smacking and out of this world. It was absolutely delicious, my tummy absolutely loved it. Lastly we shared a blueberry cheese cake for dessert as our stomach's were really full. The cheese cake was also very nice and did not disappoint. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience at Salvadores and was a perfect place to celebrate my mom's birthday. A big shout-out and thank you to Mark and Uday who ensured we had a perfect time at Salvadores. Would definitely recommend Salvadores to the wine connoisseurs out there to try out their wines as they have such a wide variety and collection of wines and to everyone in general to try out the lip smacking food that they have to offer.

Salvadores the restaurant deserves a haloed place in the restaurant scene of Bangalore. The unlimited complimentary bread with unlimited butter pampers your taste buds.<br/><br/>Being a vegetarian I ordered the tomato bruschetta and vegetable shaslik. The shaslik was mouth watering. The bruschetta was not up to the mark.<br/><br/>For main course I ordered the veg cannolini. Oozing with cheese it was oh so yummy. It was quite filling.<br/><br/>Finally we ordered très leche for dessert. It was an anti climax and quite disappointing. Eaten better très leche at UB City.<br/><br/>The caramel custard was made to perfection<br/><br/>The decor is fantastic. Service was quite fast. Waiters were courteous and patient.<br/><br/>Will surely go back to this restaurant.<br/><br/>Overall a wonderful experience.<br/><br/>

The entrees, the fish steak and the dessert were just spot on!<br/>A generous dose of really great service was only matched by the superb ambience... Definitely back for more....

Ambience - one of the best ambience in any restaurant I've been too. It feels royal. The staff are extremely polite and treat you really well. The outside seating is a bit pale compared to inside seating.<br/><br/>Food - Food was really good. Bit pricey but that comes with the ambience and experience it offers. Bacon wrapped chicken sausage was very crisp. Prawn cocktail was a bit of a letdown where the prawns felt slightly raw. Mac n Cheese was brilliant. One of the best Mac n Cheese I have tried.<br/><br/>Overall a great place if you like romantic but royal atmospheres. The soundtrack playing here really adds to the atmosphere.
Shoaibahmed393
Enjoyed breakfast , quite , classy , good quality food . Genuine care and concern shown by the entire staff . Could add more variety to the breakfast cuisine . <br/>Also ideal for a romantic evening . Setting and music is spot on .

This place was on my list from long time, finally got some time to go there. Ambience is good and it suits to fine dine restaurants. I've ordered grilled prawns, it was served with some flavoured rice and egg plant and it's absolutely delicious, they have good collections of wine, staff is helpful then why I've rated 3 ? I would've given 5 to a place like this.. but they were so careless to serve glass of wine with a FLY in it. I wasn't really sure whether he did bring like that or as I was sitting out there is one.. I have called the staff and they replaced it without even apology. That's not the way you get your customers back, I may visit this place because their food is top notch but drinks may be I'll go to other Italian places. I'll suggest this place for a evening date. Hope restaurant will notice the problem.
Soumya Agarwal
For the exorbitant prices the food is average . There is nothing extraordinary about it. But the most disappointing part is the service. Had ordered fetuccinie pasta, Now everyone knows it's flat pasta they get me the spaghetti pasts and expect as if it's absolutely fine . Then I had to send it back saying it's wrong later they replaced it but with no apology more like favor. I felt they want to maintain old world British era charm but then that kind of food options are available at much better price and quality in Bangalore. Ambience could only be enduring till the time food and service is at par.
Sharvari
Found this place on Zomato and made a hassle free reservation. Even called them prior to inform I was here for a birthday. <br/>AMBIENCE is what drew me to this place. It looks highly sophisticated that makes it perfect to celebrate a special occasion. <br/>We sat indoor as it was raining outside. There were just two other tables occupied. <br/>Coming to FOOD, the menu is quite limited. Being a vegetarian, we tried the mushroom and broccoli soup. Both were excellent. <br/>There weren’t many appetisers to chose from so we stuck to the standard Bruschetta and it was good.<br/>For main course we had Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni. It was like a white sauce with a marinara base; Different and nice. <br/>Finally, since I had requested for a cake they gave a big cake complimentary, highly appreciated! <br/>The SERVICE was noteworthy. The staff were polite and courteous. <br/>Would I go back here again? Yeah, maybe for another celebration. <br/>So I’d highly recommend for a small family dinner or a date for a good fine dining experience.

I don't think there is any other great Wine and Dine restaurants in Bangalore which can better Salvadores !! The romantic rooftop ambience is icing on the case !! The service is incredibly good and to talk about food My favourite was chicken tenders(appetizer) and Mediterranean Grilled chicken which by the way was amazzing !!
Sagorika Nandi
This rooftop restaurant is the perfect date night solution. The setting is so pretty and classy. The service is impeccable.<br/><br/>The food although a bit on the higher side is totally worth it. The prosciutto with melon was the show stealer. We also tried the beer batter fish, risotto and chimichurri fish all of which were really good.<br/><br/>It was a really nice experience and i look forward to visiting again. :)

Amazing menu and a mouth-watering taste. Seeing the dishes will make you more hungry than ever. An amazing collection of the deserts and the quality of service is outstanding.

A Sunday lunch brought us to this almost hidden restaurant which was a stark contrast to the bustling MG road below. Located on the 5th Floor of the Central mall, stepping into Salvadores takes you back to a time in Bangalore where crowds were scarce and a meal included peaceful conversation and regal service.<br/>The rooftop ambience makes it a perfect venue for date night or a family gathering .<br/>Coming to the food- the entrees ( we had skewered chicken & funghi italiano were delicious, especially the chicken skewers.<br/>Since Salvadores has its roots in Srilankan cuisine, for the mains we went with the weekend special of idiappam & stew , anglo Indian chicken curry & their Mediterranean staple of chimichurri fish steak - the food was delicately spiced & definitely worth exploring further.<br/>Hands down the old world charm & the excellent personalized service is something that will bring you back here.

Excellent food and courteous staff!!<br/>We enjoyed every dish that was served, right from the presentation to the taste , everything was just perfect.

We visited the restaurant last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Had a great and quiet time there. Food was great! Ambience perfect! Music was awesome too. They gifted us a bouquet and cake which was a lovely gesture. Service tops everything! All in all, a great place to take your loved ones for a delightful cuulinary experience.

Excellent ambience and very good food. Te tenderloin was perfect to the T. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves continental/European. It’s a perfect package of ambience , good food and good view.

In one word ... Execellent!!!<br/>I was completely satisfied with the ambience, polite service, and above all the food... We had the chimchurri fish, Mediterranean chicken and the victorian steak for mains... Starters we had the beer battered fish finger and chesses garlic crostini... And a bottle of argentinian 2016 wine... All defining fine dining and i just loved the entire experience... Keep the good work going...<br/>

An excellent restaurant in terms of service, ambience and food. Their pork chops, grilled snapper, prawn saffron risotto and chocolate rum tart are a must-have. They have an excellent collection of wines. This quaint place with its warm staff, delicious food and beautiful roof top view is certain to make one visit more than once.

I went for a sunday breakfast early morning with my flatmates the previous weekend. Got one of the best experiences in my life. Have dined out at nearly 100+ outlets in Bangalore in last 2 year but haven't got this kind of a treatment from any other establishment. Went to treat my friends for my belated birthday and my flatmate requested for a small cake for the celebration. When Mr. Mehta came to know he ordered for a complementary bottle of exotic champagne for us and he personally came to have an informal chat with us as well .We really felt that we are being valued as customers. One of my flatmates is also moving out of Bangalore to US and this was his last outing in Bangalore and we really got a very royal treatment. The English breakfast was also delicious and the service was as good as the view from the roof top. The staff was really courteous and pro active especially Mr. Blake. Am a foodie big time but not very much into reviewing but this kind of service propelled me to post a review at the earliest. Would recommend everyone to go to this place once for sure.

We went to Salvadores for dinner a few days back and had a great time. The ambience is excellent, especially if you are sitting outside in the night. The staff were courteous and prompt and the music was great. We had mixed experience with the food though. The prawns in the bacon wrapped prawns were a little cold and the watermelon salad was okay. However the main course was excellent. The herb grilled tenderloin and fillet mignon were perfectly cooked. The dessert was also great. The place is a little on the expensive side, but we'll worth a visit.

Such wonderful place with terrific ambience and more terrific service...we went for Sunday breakfast ( English breakfast ) to be specific...on occasion of my friend's belated birthday....from the moment we entered the premises, we felt like Kings...the waiting staff were exceedingly polite...we have forgotten when we last had such gracious service...the way food was served was top notch five star hotel quality..staff were attentive yet not intrusive... breakfast was undoubtedly great... ambience was super .....and in between Mr.Mehta came and greeted us for my friends belated birthday....icing on the cake was Mr Mehta offering champagne/ bubbly on the house... unbelievable graciousness...... needless to say the restaurant also shared a cute cake to cut for the birthday....we are touched by the service...treated like Kings ..had one of the best moments in a lovely setting...thanks to Mr Mehta and the best staff .....we had wonderful bubbly English breakfast

We had gone here on a Sunday night to celebrate a special occasion and I don't think I could've picked a better place.<br/><br/>The food is absolutely delishh and even though you feel it's a little pricey, the quantity served was enough and more.<br/><br/>For starters we tried the bacon wrapped prawns which were cooked well (4/5)<br/>For mains, we tried the grilled pork chops and herb infused grilled tenderloin. Both of them, cooked perfectly and they make sure to give you enough sides to the protein, they even serve you a bread basket, which I personally loved. (5/5)<br/><br/>We were so full after the mains we dint really leave space for the desserts. Would definitely try them on my next visit.<br/><br/>Overall, a fine dine restaurant with some amazing food and a romantic rooftop ambiance.

As the below review says staff was amazing and so much cooperative to everything we demanded <br/>Amazing food with some suggestions to try it and the best part the kitchen which attracted me and also the cleanliness <br/>Most of the restaurants do not have that kitchen right outside the dining <br/>Rooftop was amazing love it<br/>Thanks to the best night😘

Had been here for the evening and honestly, I dont think I can point one thing about what not to love about the place. <br/>The ambience is astounding and the balcony seating area is pretty cute , beautifully designed and tranquil. Loved it! <br/><br/>The staff and service are a really a very important thing, and they left me with no complaints here as well. They were polite, helping and smart!<br/>Coming, to the food , we had ordered Greek salad, Beef steak and grilled chicken. Cooked so fine, and served well with the dressing along side with wine. <br/><br/>Oh well, I was on a date with my guy. This seemed to be the perfect place. <br/>It was a great exprience and I hold a very beautiful record of the day being here. I would love to try breakfast/brunch pretty soon. <br/><br/>KERIN

This was one of our weekends family lunch venues. We decided to go do lunch somewhere else other than our favourite, Indiranagar. Apparently this place is owned by one of college mates family. The owner had their initial old restaurant, named - Victoria hotel in erstwhile days. <br/>Following is our experience in Selvadores-<br/>Food- We ordered the chillean red wine, Castillo de mon, perfectly paired with Vegetarian Bruschetta(Fresh veggies, like tomatoes, zucchini, bell peppers drizzled with olive oil), Garlic Crostini (Crunchy and Cheesy) <br/>For the main course, we ordered their- Grilled Pork with mashed potatoes, vegetables and apples(The pork chops was pretty chewy and not tender, and that’s the reason for 4star, instead of 5)<br/>Grilled fish with chimchura sauce(The fish was excellent, the chimichuri green colour Argentina sauce was well made)<br/>Grilled Cottage with Spanish rice (Delicious and very well made)<br/>For desserts, we ordered their tiramisu (Decent, I have had better tiramisu, expected this to be more creamy and gooey, however this was too spongy for my liking), Tres Leche Cake (This was yummy), White chocolate (Too sweet for my liking)<br/>We wanted to eat there truffle pudding, which was unavailable.<br/>Customer service-Excellent customer service.<br/>Ambience- I loved the ambience of this place. Lot of romanticism through their white linen table cloth, chandeliers, barrels<br/>Value for money- Decent to Expensive

It's my second time here and the food and the staffs has never been better! The servers were very polite, experienced and efficient. The decor and the vibe of the terrace settings makes you feel like you're in one of the Parisian cafe. For such a good service and quality food, the price was very reasonable.

Fine Dinning Place.<br/>1) Great Ambience- Roof Top,view of mg road and running metro.Good to see them around.<br/>2) Must try smoked caesar salad.Perfectly smoked chicken adds more flavor to salad.<br/>3)Fish with chimichurri is good combination .This flavor is certainly new for us.<br/>4) Tiramisu soaked in coffee is decent too.<br/>5) Good to have imported wine options in glass too.

Ambience - 4.5/5<br/>Service - 5/5<br/>Food - 4.3/5 <br/><br/>It is a perfect place for a date night or a lovely family meal. Please give them a try. <br/><br/>What makes me want to go back to a place is food + service.

Amazing place hidden on MG Road. I’m surprised not enough people know about the place.<br/>They have a limited, very well curated menu. We ordered a salad, a pasta, roasted chicken and a fried fish. Four of us polished our plates.<br/>The ambience and service were also excellent.

Loved the ambience . The view with the jazzy music set the mood . The food was also very flavoured and delicious . Love how they only serve wine and limited but a nice food menu . Got the Alfredo spaghetti . It was well cooked and had a very nice texture to it . For dessert , we got the rum chocolate tart . It was brilliant and a must try I would say . The staff were polite and great . Would recommend everyone to try this place . Loved the dining experience .

Old world charm with a lovely balcony seating option - quite the hidden gem right in the heart of the city.<br/><br/>What's to love?<br/>1. Limited menu with unique pickings: I love that because although too many options is fun, it makes making a decision that much harder. Fortunately, the menu has a great selection.<br/>2. Fine dining experience for less: Complete with white table cloth and cutlery options to throw one into a tizzy. The price is lower than other establishments with competitive cutlery display.<br/>3. Jazzy, 1920s music: If you're into it, they have a good collection and they play this from the owener's CD apparently. Cute!<br/>4. Multiple servers: One to welcome you, another to take your food order and another to bring your food. Feel fussed over.<br/>5. Views: A unique vista of tree tops and 90s tall buildings. The seating outside isn't as great as inside but you need to prioritise what's more important for you.<br/>6. Cozy ambiance: Round tables to humungous pendant lamps to barrels in the bar - it's quite the mix.<br/>7. Delicious: Enjoyed the dressing on my salad and thoroughly loved the fish that was coupled with eggplant. Even the simple Broccoli soup was a delicious affair.<br/><br/>What's not to love?<br/>1. Smoking area has the best views: Would have been perfect to dine here instead.<br/>2. Dessert options: From the already limited menu, some unavailable.<br/><br/>Overall, recommended for anyone who is always feeling nostalgic for a time they didn't live in. It'll be a treat for you!

Discovered a hidden gem in the heart of Bangalore. The place is nicely done up and the food is absolutely delicious. We tried a variety of non-veg starters and main courses and everything was fabulous. <br/>The desserts — cheesecake and tiramisu — were also amazing. <br/>Views of Mayo Hall and MG road from the balconies were very pleasant. <br/>Please go eat here. You will not be disappointed. <br/><br/>One feedback for the restaurant: while most the restaurant is very nicely decorated, the view of the open kitchen with the neon lights and white tiles was a bit of an eyesore. Any plans to cover it up?

Salvadores is an experience unlike most of the restaurants. The staff, the ambience and the decor are all exceptional. I am particularly in love with the breakfast. I love everything that was served and how it was served. We had watermelon and orange juice, along with Spanish omelette, chicken sausage, toast served with three different flavours of jam and butter and a croissant. <br/><br/>The Spanish omelette had the fluffiness of soufflé omelette and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly. The preparation of omelette showed a great technique and it’s not always easy to make a perfect omelette like this one. The chicken sausage was light and a bit crispy. However, the portion size could have been a bit more bigger. The toast was perfect and so was the jam. <br/><br/>The only dish I couldn’t completely enjoy was the croissant. Although it had rich taste of butter and was toasted well, it wasn’t flaky enough and the thin flaking layer is the essence of a croissant.

Salvadores - my entire experience turned out exactly how the restaurant has positioned itself ( i feel that’s a big compliment for any restaurant) . I have always been a huge fan of the restaurants when they talk about their history and are proud of it, for a fine dining restaurant right from the staff to the furniture ( manager proudly told me that it’s french) it should speak for itself , food - without a doubt has to be at the centre of it , otherwise nothing can impress me.<br/><br/>Salvadores is a 5 on 5 on all the above parameters.<br/><br/>We chose to sit outside and as somebody rightly mentioned in one of the other reviews, that it totally feels like you are somewhere in Paris. Calming music accentuates the overall feel.<br/><br/>I love a restaurant more when the staff is extremely courteous and is able to make precise recommendations as per your liking. I am not able to recall the name of the gentleman , but his tag said TRAINEE, for the tag he carried he had a great understanding of the food and made some really amazing recommendations.<br/><br/>I loved the fact that they had a short & crisp menu as i call it the ‘netflix’ syndrome where too many options overwhelm you and then you are just not able to decide your final meal.<br/><br/>We ordered cream of broccoli, watermelon feta salad, penne alfredo and steak with pepper sauce. Salad was a little sweeter as i would have preferred but all in all great food. <br/><br/>I loved the fact that chef specially came to our table to explain everything and why the salad was prepared a certain way.<br/><br/>The best part was they didn’t add Service charge to the bill and kept it open for the customer to pay the tips. Now a days, many restaurants are taking this small risk of adding it and when you complain about it they have weird nonsensical explanations to justify it.<br/><br/>All in all , a great experience . I loved it . Ideal for a date.

No photos of food here because to be very honest, I have given this place a 4 star rating just because of its ambience.<br/>Not that the food was bad, but as a vegetarian we just got a one pager to choose from and that too things you would already have tried elsewhere.<br/><br/>But, but, but! The ambience. Oh my God!! What a feel! The moment you enter the place, you feel as if you have entered a different world. If you sit on the rooftop, outside the main seating area, you can feel you're sitting at a roadside eatery somewhere in Paris. That good was this place. Perfect for a cosy date!<br/><br/>We had a Merlot Red wine with Alio Olio and Spinach Ricotta cheese Ravioli. Both the dishes were good. No complaints. But as said above, nothing extraordinary. Maybe the non vegetarian food might be much better.<br/><br/>Tip: They have a good collection of wine.<br/>Similar Place: Bologna with much much less pretty ambience but with more choices for vegetarians.

Good food, good view and a good ambience !<br/>The restaurant is on the 5th floor of Central mall, in the heart of Bangalore. The only restaurant in the premises to the best of my knowledge. It's not very high up but offers good view of Bangalore city and the metro line.<br/>The restaurant has a good ambience indoors with yellow lighting and warm colours. It also has outdoor seating with canopies above you to save you from the direct sunlight if you choose to come during the day.<br/>Food wise, it has a small menu but good food. We had the bruschetta, chilly cheese toast and chicken skewers as starters. All 3 were very very good. In fact we could've had another serving of the bruschetta :-). The bruschetta came with a healthy amount of topping which included black olives, tomato, herbs and some cheese. We had the minestrone soup and the cream of broccoli soup both of which again were very good. There were breads served with the soup too. Everything seemed fresh and full of taste. As main course we had the chicken fettuccine and the herb crusted fish. Both of them were pretty good but the herb crusted fish was a little heavy as it was fried. However the veggies served with it were very nicely done, especially the baby potatoes.<br/>In terms of drinks we had white wine, red wine, rosa, orange juice and lime juice. There are a good variety of wines on offer, directory Grover wines. Do try them out. The choice of mocktails was very limited and that's something that could be worked on definitely.<br/>All in all, a very good place for dinner. Would surely recommend a visit.

We went to Salvadores for dinner on a Saturday. Lovely ambience and great service. They have a non-smoking outdoor area, which is a rarity and hoping others would follow suit as well. The staff is attentive, courteous and on point. <br/><br/>However, the food left us underwhelmed, especially considering the prices. <br/><br/>Starting with the bread basket — the breads were not warmed enough and the base was still cold. They served sachets of Amul butter with it! <br/><br/>We had grilled chicken and chicken Alfredo fettuccine and they were nothing worth writing home about. <br/><br/>The biggest disappointment of the night was the tiramisu, which was nearly frozen and was way too sweet.<br/><br/>The by-the-Glass wine servings were too small. <br/><br/>Considering the location, pricing and Zomato ratings, we expected much more from this place. Unfortunately, Smokehouse Deli still beats it hands down.

I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to visit again. On a casual Wednesday evening, my friend and I stumbled upon this place post office. Amazing rooftop ambience coupled with soothing music- great place to unwind in the middle of the week. <br/>We ordered Chicken Consomme soup followed by two main course dishes- Pork chops (with mashed potatoes & veggies) and Moroccan roast chicken (with Zucchini noodles & cous cous). The meat was tender and very well cooked. 5/5 on food+presentation. Even complimented the cook. No disappointments at all!

Old world charm meets the new age gastronomy is the apt description of this place... Lots of reviews over the ambience and the beautiful terrace dining, so I'm not gonna concentrate on that...The menu that they have is minimal and exclusive with good selections of wine to go along with the food . Just how a gourmet restaurant should be. But when there is nothing on the menu that shouldn't disappoint, how does it matter if there are 10 or 100 dishes on offer... ?? For starters I would highly recommend you try the mushroom soup... Ooooh LA LA..!!! (Punctuate with a lot more exclamation marks).. Rich and creamy... The steak and the fish were so succulent and on the mark, I wasn't even interested in looking for faults in the dish... But food isn't the only thing that makes a restaurant successful, but the people.. The maitre d and the chef were very obliging and that's what elevated the feel good factor even more... Hope to see the team of Salvadores time and again in the years to come...

It was such a delight to be here and be served by these amazing people. Right from the moment we stepped in till the time we stepped out.. these guys and the food didn’t disappoint us at alllll!! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone anytime! They do have limited options but whatever they serve is flavorful and full of love. We had grilled snapper, chimichuri Fish Steak and Finished with Tres Leches Cake and boy it was like an explosion in our mouths. Thank you guys for everything.. Big shout out to the chef who specially came and met us to know if the food was up to our expectations! Greta work guys!

This dinner was a special occasion for us & it was a let down. Very disappointed with the very limited menu. Starters were only salads but the restaurant verbally listed a few starters & 4 out of the 5 items were fried. The main course was mediocre . We ordered tiramisu & cheese cake for dessert, tiramisu was too sweet & very average taste & so was the cheese cake. We were disappointed with the cutlery too. I would rate it a 3 star
