Review Liquid Lounge And Bar - Bengaluru

We stayed at the Hyatt last month while visiting Bangalore. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above & beyond to ensure our stay was as well as possible. The breakfast was particularly good, with a vast selection and fantastic waiters. Aaron took fantastic care of us throughout our stay; he made sure we tried all the local dishes reccomended by him and that we had a hearty breakfast each day. We really look forward to returning to see him and all other staff again!

Have been there couple of times, nice place to hang out and chill. Nice sound quality when played indoors. On the open rooftop the music is not so punchy. Maybe due to some legal restrictions. All in all it was a good experience. #Chillmadi

Small rooms, but neat n nice; courteous staff; Google maps may end up taking you to the back gate which cannot let your car in. Easy route is via Trinity circle. Good food!

Very nice Ambience had a nice time with family. Two problems first food was to simple lacked spices, I am a pure Indian and love spices. Second costly can't visit without any offer. Check line in AP

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room is relatively small for the price. Very compact bathroom. No bathtub.. No proper ventillation. It smells.. All my clothes stored in the room caught up the smell..

Koushik did a tremendous job of hosting us. We loved the cocktail suggestions as well as the food. The menu could do with a little more assortment, especially in the vegetarian fare. The ambience is cosy and hip.

Gorgeous crowd with loud fusion music to sweep people off their feet to the dancefloor. Its an open terrace with covered as well as open space to chill and enjoy the music. The shimmering lights of the disco and loud music makes it way too happening. People mainly were here to have a blast off the music and yes, a bit of beverages to catalyse the enthusiasm. Drinks are a bit on the higher side as per their market value but that is justified by the brand name and value of the spot.

Visited this place yesterday evening for a dinner. I must say this place has a great ambience made for the evening. A must visit place to spend some good time with your loved ones. Since it was my birthday I planned to visit this place for a dinner. Coming to the food I must say it is a treat for the taste buds for the cuisines they offer. Trust me you don't regret when it comes to food it is value for the money and the prices are reasonable. About the drinks you get to enjoy variety of drinks, soothing cocktails and pretty good options available for mockoholics on the menu. The staff is very polite and courteous.<br/>I would personally like to thank the staff Abishek, he is Professional and made my day even more special by adding this special surprise with his sweet gesture. Once he learnt it was my birthday, Abhishek without a second thought brought a smile to our table with a cake and a sweet note on it. The space was small for a DJ night. They serve good mocktails. Bollywood DJ was good. Ambience is good. There is no separate smoking zone. So pretty uncomfortable for non smokers.

Was here to attend a marriage reception and had the buffet lunch here<br/><br/>Pros: <br/>- Well managed buffet<br/>- Fish fingers and Chicken chilli were well prepared<br/>- Phirni was great<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>- Fish curry in main course was quite bland<br/>- Apricot Bread pudding was quite average<br/>- Quite pricey<br/><br/>I missed the oomph in the food that i expected here

Was there last Saturday for dancing.<br/>Good crowd.<br/>They have two areas, one is a proper dance floor without seating arrangement and the other is open area-cum-smoking zone with proper seating arrangement. Have two separate DJs playing music.<br/>1. The music was waste in the zone with dance floor (where it was suppose to be great) but outside at the open area music was superb.<br/>2. The floors in both zone are pathetic, not comfortable for dancing. They should do something about it.<br/>3. Drinks are 3x-4x higher priced on MRP.<br/><br/>All and all music is good but the floor to dance on is not, so wouldn't go back for dancing.

The ambience is soothingly beautiful to have a long conversation. The staff is active and prompt, at their most helpful. The food is also great. We had ordered Mafia pizza, watermelon fresca, and a pint of kingfisher beer. The pizza was mouthwateringly delicious. Both the drinks were amazing too. Deducting 1 star for the highly expensive menu :)

This hotel is such a good one. ..on 2016 I had been to this hotel at night 9:30pm with all my friends and colleagues we had a very good get together dinner. ...worth for money, hospitality was outstanding. . ..Well the Hostess was so cute and well knowledgeable. ... Amazing ambiance .. Open to sky. Beautifully done decor. Enjoyed the evening with friends with a special menu prepared by Chefs. Service was something which was commendable as my friends had stayed over the Chefs were very specific and matched up all our requests.

Had been on saturday night for bollywood dance Party. Rooftop Party was pretty amazing.<br/>Loved the crowd! Crowd was so heavy which made dancing little difficult. <br/>Ambiance was at its best. <br/>Drinks were okayiah. <br/>Lights of disco and the music made the place happening. <br/>Must visit place for music and dance lovers.

Liquid is for drinks and snacks, wide range of cocktails and beers are available here with some different choices of snacks. Both food and drinks were good enough, service was ok and ambience was great ! I think Hyatt is for great ambience and lots of privacy for perfect romantic evening. We had ordered draught beers and in mocktail we had ordered pink panther, for food we had ordered chicken BBQ wings, multigrain platter, something in mushroom and nachos. Nachos were great ! However, the menu mentioned here for liquid is an invalid one, none of the food items listed in the menu is served for liquid !

I have been here few times and pleased with the place as it's never too crowded and got a good mellow vibe to it. The rooftop ambience makes it ideal for a this city's weather. Once of places you can head on any day of the week.

This is a lovely romantic place to be at evening, roof top green place and with a laid back service...just too good...lovely to have couple of drinks, a good non veg platter a lovely sandwitch...and slow music...we loved this place...since it was a bit drizzling...it made all the difference in mood

It was my first time to Liquid and it really was amazing! Loved the openness the bar brought with it. Had a gin and tonic along with the beef tenderloin and chicken tikka, absolutely amazing, all of it! Added to this, the bartender Abhishek was great! Wanted to see the pool side area and he was kind enough to take us on a show- around as well! Thanks!

I went to this place on the 14th of Feb with a few friends. Luckily, I had booked the place in advance and then called to add 2 more people to my reservation.<br/><br/>The location of this place is amazing-on an open terrace in the Hyatt hotel, which itself is in a brilliant location .<br/><br/>The deal for the day was Rs.2500 per couple which included free drinks and starters for a three hour window. Given that it was Valentines Day, this was a snatch.<br/><br/>The drinks were good-all commercial variety and no original brews.<br/><br/>Coming to the starters, I can safely say that the non-veg starters were horrible. Everything was so dry and difficult to chew. The cinnamon flavor in all items did not help either. The veg menu on the other hand was pretty good.<br/><br/>Dessert included crêpe with strawberry squash and a chocolate cake both of which were to die for.<br/><br/>The ambience was good. Being a big group, we were given the gazebo which ensured privacy. House music was played all night long and he DJ did a good KOB of entertaining us non-intrusively.<br/><br/>All in all, it is definitely a place worth visiting.

We went with a lot of expectations for 31-Dec-13 celebration at the liquid lounge.........We were in queue for 45 mins for starters which never turned up.....the place was dam congested .......hardly space for you to move your lower body for dance......Food was not even warm and it was just pathetic.......<br/>A very disappointing experience.....certainly a spot for a brand name like Hyatt........<br/><br/>Next year will not go even passes are given at 1000 rupees................

Located on the 4th floor of Ista Hotel, Ulsoor, the ambience of this place is quite nice and laid back. You can soak in the atmosphere and relax while ordering your drinks and starters. The service also tends to be equally slow and there is definite scope for improvement here. <br/>The cocktails were average, and i stuck to the regular drinks. among the starters, one was good and the other, lotus stem masala from kundapura was very salty which spoilt the taste of a potentially interesting dish.<br/>The pricing is not overly expensive for a star hotel, but overall perhaps an average experience.

I have been to Ista a number of times, mostly for a quick drink or two before watching a movie in Fame lido. But there have been couple of instances where me and my friends went there to just chill and had a blast. The location is just mind blowing, the rooftop with a lot of plants around and its quite breezy which adds to its beauty. Once the sun sets, this spot transforms into a lovely spot to sip your drinks and nibbles.<br/><br/>They have a lot of varieties in their menu. The cocktails are pretty awesome as well. They also give you free snacks like nuts and chips with your drinks. I like their lounge seating and also their bar seats. The bar seats are perfect for a quick drink whereas the lounge ones are to unwind.<br/><br/>The snacks are quite tasty as well. The drinks might be little pricey but its totally worth it. Overall the place is awesome and will keep going back.

We had gone to Ista for my birthday dinner in January, and had taken a quick look at Liquid@Ista from outside and we had decided to go back there for a few drinks some time. But we never got around to doing it. We finally went to Liquid yesterday, and I have come back absolutely in love with the place. I am not sure about others, but I had a picture of the "perfect eat out" in my head, and every place that I have ever gone to, even the ones I have loved, hasn't been as good as that imaginary restaurant/ lounge I had in my head. Liquid is that. And more. No wonder this place recently won the Times City award for the best lounge bar in 2010. (Or was a nominee, I am not sure. I can't seem to find any link on the net that says anything about the award but they had a certificate proudly on display at the entrance at Liquid, but I never really read it completely. I thought I would on my way out, but I had had way too many Iced teas already, which brings me to another recommendation - (*sophitstication anti thesis alert*) I am NOT a cocktails person, I don't get why people would drink Mojitos when they can just have a rum and coke or even beer, it's cheaper too after all. But nothing beats Long Island Iced Tea. 'nuff said.<br/><br/>Coming back to Liquid, if you are planning a romantic evening out, planning to celebrate a birthday/ anniversary, or a girls' night out and want to talk nineteen to the dozen and it is one of those nights when drinking is more important than what you eat, look no further. Here's why-<br/><br/>Food - Probably the ONLY not so great thing about Liquid is that they don't serve main course. You will only get a small list of finger food in the name of food menu. That said, the menu is pretty good. Multi cuisine, to say the least. We ordered chicken 65, some French Fries, and Lalbagh Ka Paneer, and they were all brilliant. The pieces of chicken were so succulent and soft that at first we were first afraid they had confused our order with sea food (R being allergic to sea food and all). Lalbagh ka Paneer was equally good. The fries, not so much.<br/><br/>Drinks - Pretty much the regular cocktails and drinks - Long Island Iced Tea, Mojitos etc. There was Belgian beer too, which I think I will try the next time I am there. The wine menu was one of the most elaborate ones that I have ever seen.<br/><br/>Service - fairly quick.<br/><br/>Value for money - Now that's a tricky one. It really depends on your perspective. If you are going out strictly for food, Liquid may not be the best choice. But if you talk about a pleasant evening, a few drinks, great conversation, and the feel good factor, Liquid really and completely takes the cake.<br/><br/>Ambiance - I was saving the best for the last. Liquid is apparently Bangalore's first alfresco. First or not, it was the best that I have seen. Dim lights, extremely comfortable understated seating - both couches and cane chairs, pretty white curtains, glass roof in parts, and the magical Bangalore weather - it was the perfect setting for a romantic evening. Even the smoking area, which was in one of the corners, open on one side like a balcony, was exquisite. If only the view had a little more to offer than a huge tree and the Lido Mall. But who asked me to hang outside the glass wall for the view? If you don't do that, you see clouds, trees, and the late evening lights of Bangalore. The music at the restaurant consisted of an amateur band singing unplugged versions of classic and alternative rock. The band wasn't the best - the guitarist was inconsistent, the singing was far from brilliant. But it somehow added to the rawness of the alfresco evening. I am not trying to justify any weaknesses in Liquid, because for me, last night, it had none. The crowd too was unbelievably good - nothing outlandish in terms of sophistication or the lack of it. Imagine. A glass of long island iced tea, the company of your favourite people/ person in the world, and a chilly monsoon evening in Bangalore - it was all there. It was a beautiful night.<br/><br/>Liquid was a complete 5 on 5 for me, just make sure you go there with the kind of company you really, really enjoy and you don't feel the need to feed your face because of sheer boredom. What? It happens with me all the time!
