Review Happy Belly Bakes - Bengaluru

Parvathi S Krishnan
Visually Aesthetic cakes🤚🏼 extremely appealing. However, The cheesecake, there was something fishy about the taste, else everything else was decadent! The Ferrero roscher is totally worth it! Packaging was truly practical and cake can be transported safely without any kinda damage. Very thoughtful.

It's a cozy place. The 2 pastries and ice cream we tried were very good. The pricing is on the higher side, but, I guess that's the price of quality baked goods. I had a good time here.
Dr Bobby Cyrriac
Awesome cakes, pastries, quiche, macarons, chocolates. Awesome location. This place could be anytime food break. Lovely choices. Keep up the good job.

A great place to get customized cakes. fabulous craftsmanship and excellent details, Although i ordered at the short notice with my design Shisham and her team made sure it was ready and delivered on time. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves to get customized cakes for their loved ones!
Avinash Abhishek
Loved the hot chocolate here. Should definitely try it!
Mahesh M Nair
A bit costly compared to the quality. The quality is good though. They make customized cakes for different occasions. At the time of purchase make sure you enquire if they have used any non edible item for supporting certain design accessories in/on the cake as they don't mention it and could be dangerous.

This little tuck away bake shop is my kind of everything I look for in a dessert place. I just loved there sandwich there their bread was so good, awesomely fresh and amazingly soft. It was my cheat day in terms of sugar and loved the applied crumble pie to the truffles and even the soft bread. Must try place!

Happy belly had all the goodies that are delectable, chocolates galore in a every possible shape and size. The only thing against is the size of the cup for cappuccino at that price is not Value for money, park is another issue. All in all an okay place serving the normal stuff, nothing outstanding. The take away the service is always friendly and smiling!

It is a small cafe basically serves cakes and pastries. outdoor dining is available but only for few people. I had this eid special cupcake, the frosting was good but the base wasnt that great but i liked its decoration. there are some items that has alcohol in it , so be carefull all the non alcoholics.

It gives me the vibes of a cozy English cottage. The Truffle cake and cake pops are just amazing! Custom orders are taken for various occasions. Stop by for a quick sip of creamy cappuccino or just hang out here sometime, it's definitely worth it!

This is currently my favorite bakery in Bangalore, not to mention the adorable turquoise cafe that houses delicious goodies, which are always fresh. Excellent coffees/teas, and an ever changing menu of baked goodies. Three thumbs up!

The best place in bangalore to get customized cakes for any occasion. A very very tasty all day breakfast has been launched as well. A must have.

It's a delightful and cosy place especially for chocolates and chocolate-based pastries. Hot chocolate here is one of the best (Theobrama in Mumbai is the other). Kiran behind the counter is man of the moment there and is always in total control of the situation. Say hi to him from me when you drop in
Rahul Ajit
Great for alone time indulgences like coffee and cake. The waiter is the happiest man on the planet and is guaranteed to make you smile. He deserves a promotion.

This one is my wife's favourite for the Tiramisu. Discovered this place after shopoing at fabindia. Pretty pricey for a bakery but drop by whenever we crave the tiramisu.

The cakes made by Happy Belly are to die for! The Head chef - Veda, was really patient with my order and knew exactly what I'd like. The first cake I ordered was for a friends birthday which was delicious and a few days ago I ordered the Snicker bar cake for my husbands birthday, which in his words is one of best cakes he's eaten. We couldn't stop eating it! Thank you Happy Belly and team :)

There is this warmth in the place which makes you wanna come back here again! It's a beautiful place that has a really nice vibe :) Loved it

Very unsafe place to take kids along, no Safety bands on the glass door, to alert someone from banging. Cake taste was satisfactory.
Sonali Nikhil
Loved the new place. Delicious food and chilled out ambience. And that perfect cup of coffee!!!
Selma Pinto
Loved it personally. Came in with a full tummy because of a late lunch. Yet I enjoyed what I ordered. And the ambience is 'cute'.

Lovely Cake and as asked for with a coffee mug and coffee beans on top. Very well presented. Loved the flavours and it sure made everyone happy. Thank you Happy Belly Bakes.

I saw all thw good reviews and ordered a 2.5kg cake for my son's birthday. The cake looked very nice but tasted horrible. It was a cookie and cream cake but was dry, rough and dint taste like cake. Most of the cake was wasted as most of them at the party dint want to eat the cake. I payed Rs.2300/kg and was so disappointed. Will never recommend them to anyone!

Okay I really hated it !! It was my son's first bday . I was really excited and wanted to cut a cake at 12 am. Ordered 3 truffle cakes - the pic on swiggy said they were whole round cakes which looked perfect for a cake cutting . What did we get ? 3 small slices of cake each costing a staggering 100 rs . Really not worth it and such a dissapoitment !! Next let's come to the red velvet cupcake. The pic on swiggy showed 2 pieces for 70. Got a pretty looking cup cake . Was okay with it though we recieved only 1 but it tasted really bad. Had to throw it in the bin. Really really dissapointed with this experience. Never ordering from here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!

Amazing cakes to die for. Good job Team!!

I ordered a rainbow cake and a fresh fruit gateaux for my daughter's first birthday. The cakes not only looked lovely, but also tasted delicious. The rainbow cake definitely met my expectations and was made beautifully. Thank you for making my little girl's special day memorable with your cakes. Yum yum yum!

Happy belly bakes is my current favorite dessert line and I think that's not going to change any time soon! This time I decided to pre-order cheesecake for a birthday from the Frazer town branch for my convenience. <br/><br/>I've to give credits to their customer service team. Nisha ma'am was ever so helpful and responsive with every query I had. They take excellent care of consumer satisfaction. From ordering to delivering my experience was smooth.<br/><br/>If you've followed my review of Happy belly bakes, Residency road, y'all know that I fell in love with the "baked toffee cheesecake". So I ordered this for a friend's birthday. The 500 gms cake was over in under 5 minutes (not even exaggerating) by 5 people. We were left wanting more. The cheesecake just melt into our mouths while the biscuit base gave a different buttery flavour and change of texture. The nuts were roasted well and the Dulce de leche layer added sweetness and complimented the cheesy flavour. <br/><br/>It's very affordable for the top notch taste they offer! Extremely friendly service. The portion-price ratio is too good. Many other bakers cost lot more for mediocre cakes whereas HBB provides amazing quality at an amazing price. Big shoutout to Happy Belly Bakes! Hope y'all have a soulful experience with them.<br/><br/>Food - 5/5<br/>Service - 5/5<br/>Value for money - 5/5

So my friend was a huge fan of this place and was waiting desperately for this place to open up after lockdown. Since recently it opened, i decided to send her, her favorite key lime pie and gooey brownies.<br/>Needless to say, she was v happy when the order arrived. But she complained about slight stale natured taste from the key lime pie like the ones you get when you store an open ice cream for too long in the fridge. Nevertheless she looked past that and enjoyed the brownies. The very next morning , she had severe food posining followed with all the symptoms. We tried to track the cause, but it was v obvious what caused it. It was really heartbreaking that you guys wouldnt check for the quality of food before sending. I get that it s challenging during these recent times but that s no excuse for the compromising on food quality and hygiene. Very dissapointing experience !

We ordered this yummy toffee cheese cake on Father’s Day and liked it so much . I tried this cake for the first time and loved it . I liked everything from this shop whatever we have ordered till now . Though I have not see their shop till now but I have become a great fan of their cakes and brownies during lockdown .This shop is close to our house that’s why we could order during lockdown also . They are really doing amazing work . I am their permanent customer now .

These guys are actually good when they are serving fresh pastries ..I used go to their cafe a lot ...but when I ordered online because I was missing their pastries...they served previous days not so fresh pastries ..which gave me a bad throat ...stop serving stale pastries cause cream in it goes bad after a day ...I will never go back ever again ...truly dissapointed

The service staff is always patient here .<br/>Loved the Monaco biscuits covered with Milk Chocolate

When msgd then to place order the person responded so rudely. Non professional.<br/>Cake was good but the customer service is totally unacceptable.

I've been a regular at the MG road store, Since I stay close to the Frazer Town one.I ordered a Keto Cake for my Husband's birthday thinking they will do a similar job. However, it turned out to be a nightmare. I placed an order 5 days before, requesting for some kind of a decoration on the not so good looking cake. (We ordered it as we were diet conscious). I was promised it would be made to look good. Come the day of the order. I called Shagun their head baker about 5 times. Not a single call answered nor a call returned. I called their franchisee number as given from google. No one cared to answer the call. Since I was not in the area, I sent Dunzo to collect the cake. When I placed the order I was told 1100 for the cake. The dunzo bill was quoted to be 1500. On enquiring why the difference in cost, I was told MAM you pay the bill. We will refund you 400 in form of cash. I gave up, and reached the store myself. Coming to the quality of the cake. I have attached the pictures. I got a broken cake from the corners. When I messaged Shagun with the pics of the cake, I had absolutely no response. These guys just don't care. They have a name thanks to the other branches. But they're spoiling the brand Happy Belly! Awful guys.. Never Order their cakes. They are good with their normal bakery ready made stuffs! Nothing else! Absolute Disaster!

Them making our days special with their creation and taste..!!<br/>Thank you guys..!! Do visit them once you won't be disappointed..!! 😍🤪☺️ They have the best to offer you.<br/>All your imaginations are brought to life and presented to you with warm gesture..!! 💕☺️☺️

Rating: 3.75/5<br/><br/>I had visited this place during Christmas and totally loved their plum cake! It was fresh and had everything in right proportion. While they could work on their sitting area, they stand good as a bakery. Takeaway, preferably.<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/>Service: 4/5

I've actually been waiting to visit this branch of happy belly bakes for so long now since the branch near Mg road is so wonderful!<br/>Sadly, the experience here was beyond terrible.<br/>Reached here at around 1:30 pm today, the entire place was empty.<br/>We ordered the toffee cheesecake, lemon meringue tart, chicken sandwich, chicken quiche and hazelnut and Vietnamese coffee.<br/>So starting off with the coffee, the hazelnut coffee in this branch and the other branch are poles apart, not just the taste but also presentation. This was iced black coffee with syrup which is usually good but wasn't the same case here. The Vietnamese was good.<br/>Next the cheesecake was good, the lemon meringue tart was ghastly. The meringue was so extremely hard that even after repeated attempts at breaking it with a spoon, we were unsuccessful. The lemon curd was eggy and the dessert just felt stale.<br/>Coming to the sandwich, I was put off by the moment it hit the table because it was microwaved and just touching the bread my fingers were greasy. The bread was tough, chewy and smelled yeasty, the filling wasn't much better. The quiche, again, microwaved to death, the quiche like the sandwich smelled and tasted stale, the bottom crust was burnt.<br/>By the end of it, we were both nauseous, I do not recommend this place at all.<br/><br/>Food: 1/5<br/>Service: 1/5<br/>Ambience: 2/5<br/>Value for money: 1/5

160 for hardly a 150 ml coffee. the experience was disappointing from every aspect. to say that this place is a rip off at least for food delivery, would be an understatement. i don't know how fresh food from this place is like but the delivery is disappointing. I would definitely not recommend this place for food delivery.
Sanhita
known this place since the day it started.. their banana walnut cup cake with caramel frosting is my family's all time favourite.. must try hot chocolate.. and brownies.. it's a tiny delightful place.. but service could be better..

Happy belly bakes it's a really small place.Famous for desserts. But when I had ordered a red velvet cupcake I found it way too salty.Good ambience also gives you a lot of privacy.

Had been a great fan of the cakes at Happy Belly and have been ordering for my kids birthdays since the last 5 years. 3 years back the cake was messed up and they apologised and i took it as a one off and let it be. A few months back I ordered a huge cake for my child's birthday party and the cake was very dry. Sadly most of the guests left it half eaten. Today for my other child's birthday I had ordered a red velvet with cream cheese frosting but got it with butter cream that was so extremely sweet that again most guests just had a couple of bites and left the rest. Very disappointed after spending so much.
Suraj Omprakash
Just ordered the chicken quiche, the meat was spoilt. Have ordered from here before didn't have a problem. I guess the quality has really fallen.
Dilpreet Sandhu
I have been to this place since I moved to Bangalore over 5 years ago. But last evening when we picked up cupcakes I realised that the quality of the cakes has gone down tremendously. <br/><br/>I love to hang out at this place and i like the coffee and the truffles as well. But i was quite disappointed by the dryness of the cupcakes, especially the red velvet, which was not the case even about a year ago. <br/><br/>Hope it improves.

portion was really small and taste was average
Sonali Mirpuri
Yummy, thick and rich hot chocolate. I would recommend adding sugar though. Really loved it. It’s also very filling, so definitely worth the price.

Tried the much talked about hot chocolate on a rainy afternoon it was good but the quantity was less give in a small green cups . Taste wise good, Give it a try if your around frazer town.
Dr Abhishek Bhalerao
Bought a cake from here on 13/7/18. The cake was old, crumbly and excessively sweet. It was supposed to have coffee chocolate and vanilla, but all I could taste was pure sugar, with a sugar aftertaste that lasted an hour. <br/>Also had asked for a tiramisu macaroons whilst the name tag was added to the cake, got my bill instead. I again asked for the macaroon but the guy showed me the bill again! Only after I told him i will pay the money and not run away did he give me my macaroon. <br/>The macaroon was decent and the addition of the coffee capsule to put it in just before you eat it a good touch <br/> First experience a very bad experience. Maybe this is a one off experience looking at the other reviews and like every person , every place deserves a second chance to prove its salt

They make absolutely the best customized cakes I have ever ordered! I've ordered 5-6 cakes from them by now and I don't see myself switching to any other bakery ever. They will go out of their way to customer cakes to your liking and do the most fabulous job. Regardless of what flavor you order, it's bound to be an absolute hit. As a plus, they also have incredibly warm team members!

Friendly cheerful peeps at the counter!!<br/><br/>It's more than a bake shop...quite a cute lil quaint cafe in your neighborhood..<br/>Desserts, Gateaux, Cakes, Breads, Chocolates, Cheesecakes et al<br/>They're also now launching ice cream in five flavours...<br/><br/>What I like most about Happy Belly Bakes is the fact that their fanfare does not taste like mass produced stuff where everything tastes the same. On the contrary their stuff has a very home-like comfort food appeal....Their Chocolate Cake is to ressurect for ;-)<br/><br/>Bae scooped me out of home and into his fancy car and asked for a coffee place and here we were... enjoying the place, the goodies and each others presence....Blissful blessings....<br/><br/>What's not to Love! You gotta go see it for yourself !!<br/><br/>

Since 2011 I’ve been getting designer cakes from Happy Belly.<br/>Shisham & team... Thanks for designing d cakes exactly d way I want, making my occasions special always.<br/>Cakes r elegant & delicious. Printed chocolates & few other stuffs r also too good.
Jharana Vasavada
I have been ordering birthday cakes, baby shower cakes, and cakes for every occasion from Happy Belly. Cakes are super tasty, super customisable, and service and delivery is professional and on time. Highly recommended for special occasions.

I’ve ordered cakes from happy belly bakes for the past few Years and they have never disappointed. Delivery always on or before time and the cakes are simply delicious!

HOT CHOCOLATE ALERT!!😋<br/>This place was in my list from long time and Today finally a visit here. A tiny cute lil place accomodated in a nice area. Catering my never ending hunger for CHOCOLATE, I ordered hot chocolate and chocolate plum cake.<br/>Chocolate plum cake as name says was traditional plum cake wrapped in chocolate and served warm. Now reason for my vist "Hot Chocolate". Served in little green cups with saucers, this rich Hot Chocolate can be mistaken for a pudding looking at the consistency of it. If you think you can drink it...NO NO NO, you have to savour it with the spoon because of its thick texture. Perfect sweetness was the other thing that makes it toothsome.<br/>Pure justice to it's name HAPPY BELLY!<br/><br/>

Nice cute tiny quiet place.. 5/5 for the courteous staff.. The chicken quishe was a disappointment, (they didn't charge me as I returned it) however the hot chocolate is a must try.. An experience! (quantity is very less however)
Akhil Singh
Great cappuccino and cupcakes.<br/>Had the red velvet slice and it was totally on point. Ambience is super nice and chill.<br/>The staff at the counter is a great host!<br/>Will be back :)
Shruti Agarwal
This place is located in a residential place. The crowd I saw here was of people in their late 20s.<br/>You can have a cup of coffee and sit in a corner with your book. This place doens't have a lot of hubbub. Ambience is decent and not at all noisy. A good place to have a conversation too.<br/>The staff is friendly and responsive.<br/><br/>I bought a cake named 'bad addiction'. It was supposed to have flavours of coffee, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and peanuts. The cake had more sugar than it was necessary.
Maseera
The Hot chocolate is an experience! The staff is friendly and nice so is the decor. If you around this part of town do make a pit stop! The macaroons and brownies looked yum too.
Swetha Cordelia
Happy belly makes awesome n yummy cakes. Today they delivered a designer cake.. it was brownie fudge cake with specific designs I told them . Cake looked so..oooooo beautiful..so ..ooooo elegant.. first time ever cake looked like how I wanted. just how I imagined it to be..Every minute detail was noted down in no time n was implemented exactly how I had requested them. Cakes are baked with such professionalism n passion. The quality was amazing.. suuuuuperb. It was delivered exactly the time we had mentioned. The cake tasted so..ooooo delicious. Hats off to the chef. Thank you so.ooo much Happy Belly. Out of all the suprises my kid said her best suprise was the cake.. you wanna suprise Ur loved ones..? Go for Happy Belly..

It's a cozy place. The 2 pastries and ice cream we tried were very good. <br/>The pricing is on the higher side, but, I guess that's the price of quality baked goods. <br/>I had a good time here.
Ananya Sanyal
Simply the best bakery in Bangalore. Great with innovative, concept cakes with the most sinful fillings! I tend to go for their chocolate truffle or fudge brownie fillings but their caramel cakes are amazing as well. I would also heavily recommend their brownies which are delicious. Their savoury stuff are pretty good as well but can sometimes be a bit crust-heavy. Lastly, do go for their chocolates. They are just divine.
Fatema Rangwala
Mediocre food, bad coffee. The worst tea ever. <br/><br/>The sandwich was stale and the chicken was rubbery inside<br/><br/>The only thing that was ok was the flourless chocolate cake.<br/><br/>
Sayantani Dhar
I went to this place yesterday with my friends for a birthday treat. The staff is really courteous and polite. We had ordered for Ginger Lemon Fizz, Ice Lemon Tea, Nutella Shake and Potato Rosti. I must say the items tasted delicious be it the beverages or the Potato Rosti. Though this is not a very economical place but it's worth the price considering the taste of the items. A must visit place...
Nandita Kamat
Had ordered personalised cupcakes for a friend's bachelorette party and they were amazing! All the details we had asked for was on point and the cupcakes tasted good as well.
Rinita Mascarenhas
Situated in a small corner of frazer town yet this place sure has alot going on.. i heard alot about the hot chocolate , hence i decided to head up there.. but it saddened me that it took approximately half an hour to 45 min for a simple hot chocolate to be done ,the reason for the delay was because it was run by a single man behind the counter and behind the mixers.. it would much better if the service doesn't let you down!!.. Coming to the hotchocolate ,the hotchocolate was indeed upto to its mark, but it would have been great if it was served within 15minbof the oder placed.<br/> <br/>NEVER head to this place ,if your are very hungry !!because then happy belly will sure as hell leave you as hungry belly.. <br/>
Aparna Ghatwal
They serve one of the best hot chocolate in town. Must try. One can also pre order bread and this can be customised . Also their checkered cake is quite unique.
Sonya Dcruz
Although the ambience is amazing, the food I ordered was a let down. The chicken and olive quiche to begin with was nothing but thick and tough-to-chew/swallow crust being most of it and had very little filling which was mostly bland. It didn't do justice to the price tag it carries. It was for RS. 150. The spinach and corn thin crust pizza was just about average. Rs. 175 for that. The hot chocolate was thick and nice. Rs. 90 for the small size. That being the only saving grace. Its not a pocket-friendly place for students. At least not if you are budget-conscious. The pastries as I have heard are good but I haven't tried any of those. Again because everything here is so pricey and with the GST tax(Rs. 75 in this case) added now.. do weigh the options. Do try the hot chocolate. That's one thing I recommend. Vyshnav Kumar

Stumbled upon this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken and olive quiches were delicious as was their checkered cake. The lemon pie was a bit of a letdown though - average, not that great. They have a good range of beverages too.
Benny Alexander
Sumptuous bakes! Good to catch your folks for a Rich and great hot chocolate. Friendly staff. Bit slow on the service. Overall must visit place. Cake orders are another win here.
Muan Zeli
Their hot chocolate is heaven. It is a must try. Cozy, quiet and friendly place. I recommend it if you are looking for a place where you can eat something light and want a peaceful time with yourself or with friends.
Meenakshi Nambiar
I loved their chocolates and cookies of both of which I had an assorted selection. Except for a certain chocolate that had an extra dose of chilli powder everything else was finger-licking good.
Nikhil Chowdary
Average place, old food in the showcase. Be careful <br/>Tea is good though, but how hard can that be.<br/>Good decor can't make up for bad food....
Karthik Ahobila
This small yet unique bakery is one of a kind. I read that their hot chocolate is one to die for and boy was i supremely surprised. They serve the thickest and one of the yummiest hot chocolates in bangalore. The chocolate truffle was good too. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef who prepared the hot chocolate and I couldn't thank him enough loved it!!
Nitya Rahul
Nice quiet place for a small gupshup ..<br/>Tried out the chicken N olive quiche and it was yummy and flaky. <br/>The chocolate truffle was nice soft N chocolaty ..same with the red velvet cheese cake.<br/>A good collection for pastries ..will be back to try out other variants.<br/>Hot chocolate was something which I didn't like much .. it was way too thick and lacked sweetness.
Af
Ordered for their walnut brownies after reading the reviews. Really did not like it. There was a weird smell, like that of ghee/butter. Mostly ghee I think. And the taste was very disappointing. Just way too oily. You can compare the ghee/butter content to that of mysore pak I guess. The smell and the butter/ ghee made me queasy. Just not meant for my taste I think.
Musab Abid
It always feels wonderful to discover a little gem in an overlooked corner of your own neighborhood, and that's exactly what my reaction was when I bit into the checkered cake slice from Happy Belly. The place is truly tiny, with barely 5 tables and a display counter that seems to end right where it begins, but the bakes here are really nice. <br/><br/>In addition to the checkered cake, I tried the banana walnut cupcake too; while I didn't care much for the frosting, the cake itself was perfectly moist and delicious. Most of the other items on display looked similarly pleasant, and the moment I stepped out of the shop I made a mental note to come back and try out everything on their menu.<br/><br/>A couple of points docked because of the less-than-comfortable seating, but when it comes to taste, Happy Belly delivers big time.
Ashwin Dsouza
If you want to order a themed cake for an event, here's the place to come. Right down the smallest detail, the cake we ordered was not only perfect looking but tasted great too. The short eats are great too. Nice quiet place to sit if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee, both hot and cold. The cakes are expensive though.
Meetu Mendiratta
I always leave this place with a happy belly . It's a cute little place and I keep coming back to this place only for their hot Chocolate and the apple crumble . Apart from that I like their Moroccan mint tea and the tea cakes .
Namitha Nayak
Came around this place when I was searching for a fondant cake to surprise my frnd. Wonderful service and the cake looked just too good. Very nice place. Loved the cake and the fondant toy of my frnd n the bike looked too gud.
The Bangalore Food Harem
Ever wondered who in Bangalore makes Instagram-inspired cakes like the one pictured above? 'Happy Belly Bakes' is the answer to all your wonderland dreams! <br/><br/>With all the hype surrounding budding commercial bakers you can be rest assured that HBB's custom made cakes are absolute value for money- as one could reasonably expect for a combination of detailed customisation and beautiful flavors.<br/><br/>Don't bother limiting your imagination while trying out their cakes. They do it all. From a mad-hatter themed cake to something downright avantgarde or just your everyday boozy cakes, you are bound to be blown away!<br/><br/>Some of our favourites include the classic red velvet, the kitkat cake (featured above), the chocolate fudge cake and the peanut butter brownies. For all you chocoholics though, the explosive Devil's food cake will leave you wishing it was your birthday.

Amazing little bakery next to Richards park. The cashier always has a huge smile on his face . Super deserts, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Just makes me happy :)

Visiting for the first time after reading and hearing a lot of excellent reviews and honestly I'm NOT AT ALL disappointed. This place is AMAZING!!<br/>The chili honey truffle is perfectly balanced. Coffee ice cream is what should be exactly and icing on the cake is orange truffles folded in the ice cream. And they use local coffee. It tasted out of the world.<br/>Overall a really satisfying experience.
Asha Sunil
Bought the red velvet cake and brownie. wasn't happy at all with the red velvet cake , the cake didn't seem fresh and the cream though ok wasn't great, and the cheese layer in the middle was bad to taste and smelly. The brownie was good. Overall not a happy experience as the price too is on the higher side.
Joerique Kith Abishai
Love this quaint place! Their cup cakes and muffins are a must try. If you're looking for a birthday or anniversary cake, definitely order from here! It's a good place to visit after a heavy dinner to wind down the day over their delicious coffee options.
Adeeba Rahman
A very cute place serving good knick knacks around this side of town..lovely decor and a smiling man behind the counter !loved it :) ordered a chicken quiche, it had a good enough amount of chicken cream and white sauce.what shocked me was that the capuccino was only 40 rs!stunningly gold vibes it gives you :D

My hubby and me decided to fulfil my cravings for deserts every weekend. . We went to this place as we read somewhere it was rated the best in bangalore. But was heavily disappointed. The only thing I liked was the brownies. I am a die hard fan for cupcakes and they just felt like it was taken from brittania cupcakes and added cream.
Harish Abraham
A small place with a big chocolate heart. Go there often love the pastries. My only complaint, little late in the day but nevertheless, not good for cakes. Ordered a 2kg Christmas cake last December had to throw it out. Took it to my home town big disappointment. Still excellent for anything that's off the rack.
RJ Heart N Soul (rjheartnsoul.com)
Came across this place when looking for a bakery which specializes in making specific cakes for children's birthday. The first time was for my daughters Bday where I got a Motu Patlu cake done. As the picture shows, they did a perfect job which made me go back to them for my sons Bday cake - Transformers. This was just ok and that's probably because it's almost impossible to replicate a robot standing over a cake!!

This Desserts place is located in Frazer Town near Clarence High School. I've been here a couple of times and have always enjoyed it.<br/><br/>It is a really small but pretty place which has seating indoor and outdoor as well. Indoor seating is air conditioned. In total, they would have not more than seven or eight tables. The place looks really nice and loved every bit of it. <br/><br/>Most of the time, there is just one person handling the place. He is very polite and courteous and always has a smile on his face.<br/><br/>Coming to the desserts, I just love them! I've tried various items like Truffle Cake, Red Velvet Cupcake, Triple Ganache, Oreo Truffle, Chocolate Truffle, etc.. They have on of the best Truffle Cakes. It is a must try. They have these various mini truffles which just taste delicious. There's still a lot more for me to try out at this place. They also serve various Savoury items and also beverages.<br/><br/>The pricing might seem a little bit expensive but it is totally worth every penny and every person who has a Sweet Tooth will love this place. (Well, who isn't?)<br/><br/>Overall Experience:<br/><br/>Food - 4.5/5<br/>Ambiance - 4/5<br/>Service - 4.5/5<br/>Price - 4/5

Where do I even start this long-overdue review! We've been going here for two years now and tried pretty much everything on the menu! The quiches and hot chocolate are my favourite. I also like their thick milkshakes, especially mango. The flavoured teas are soothing on cold evenings; they even give you honey on request. The waiter/server/guy at the counter has been there for years, and always greets you with a smile on his face.

Went over to someone's house who had Happy Belly for dessert. Tried the ice cream, it was amazing, especially the coffee flavor, also had a lava bomb with a cheesecake like base which was fabulous!

My cousins picked some goodies from here for a family gathering on Saturday.<br/><br/>I personally tried their macaroons and frosted cupcakes. There was nothing outstanding about their macaroons although I must admit that I am not immensely fond of this dessert. Cupcakes were beautifully frosted with Christmassy toppings. The frosting was very sweet for my taste. Overall, they were fine.<br/><br/>Pros: Pretty looking desserts, beautifully packed.<br/><br/>Cons: Whatever flavor of macaroon or cupcake I tasted was sweet for my palate. <br/><br/>Tip – I would return to try their chocolate desserts!<br/><br/>Recommended – To pick presents for family and friends.

Small place in Frazer Town near Richards park, happy belly bakes is a nice little dessert place that provides delicious cupcakes! The cheesecake was a disappointment though as the blue berries tasted extremely sour. The carrot cupcake was a very nice along with the Oreo cupcake. Also the quiches were quiet decent and overall this is a decent place worth looking out for.

This is a very small place near French loaf and it can be easily missed out if you don't know about this place. I usually buy customized cakes from this place (its 13km from my place) full points to the presentation and quality.<br/>So whenever I go, I take a quick bite of something from the store. They have a lot of options in their display. The red velvet cup cake looked really good but the taste was just bad. Probably it wasn't fresh. <br/>The one thing I would recommend, their hot chocolate. I make sure I have this whenever I am near this place.<br/>Overall, a decent place, a little expensive.<br/>

With handcrafted chocolates, designer cakes and delectable brownies on offer, Happy Belly Bakes beckons one to a dulcet dessert voyage. <br/>Located within the vicinity of Clarence High School in Fraser Town, this cafe is a cutesy little joint with a quaint, yet cosy ambience. <br/><br/>One can settle down against the limited tables, sip on a cup of coffee and indulge in the numerous pastries on offer. If desserts ain't your thing (is that even possible?!), you can snack on several savoury items made available.<br/><br/>The food here does not parallel their stunning designs and outward appearance, but it isn't substandard either to not warrant a try. <br/>With reasonable prices and prompt service, this place is a hidden gem of a cafe that is entitled to being one of the better nosheries in the city!

Ordered home delivery via zomato and swiggy, the latter doesn't charge u the extra 50bucks for delivery here. No comments in the ambience, then, but the packaging for delivery was pretty sturdy and cute. Tried the blueberry cheesecake (ah, my ever elusive search for a big chill equivalent!) And triple chocolate and gooey chocolate Brownie. All the desserts are authentic and true to their name, definitely some of the best I've had in blore so far. Chicken quiche must be avoided though...the hardness took me by surprise as did the filling- was it supposed to be sour cream or had the cheese spoilt? I threw that one away. Be warned about the quantity though : the prices seem exorbitant for the size they offer...but the quality makes up for it. I found the cheesecake prices value for money but one can definitely get a bigger Brownie for the rate they charge here. All in all, my current go to place for cheesecake...check it out if you're in the area! :)

I ordered a 2.5Kg cookies n cream cake for my son's birthday party. They replicated the design given very well but the cake tasted horrible. It was hard, dry and the texture very rough. They claim the base is a tea cake and meant to taste that way. Well from what I know tea cakes don't taste this way.<br/>I was charged Rs.2300/kg even though only 1.5Kgs [approx] of the cake was a designer cake. The balance 1Kg of the cake was a simple square cake in the same flavour and icing. Also it was a bit unprofessional as the pricing discussed at the time of taking the order was slightly different than the final pricing. These charges would have been justified if they had delivered on taste front. I was so disappointed as most of the 2.5Kg cake went untouched at the party. My son who loves cakes dint want another bite of his own birthday cake!

It's a quaint little outlet located near French Loaf in Frazer Town. They have minimal seating. They have the cutest little delicacies for one to gorge on. I love their cake pops too.

Happy Belly is a cute little bakery located near Clarence High School at Frazer Town. Loved the ambience with its little corners and small tables as well as the interiors.<br/><br/>From the stuff on display one can safely say that its a place to indulge your sweet tooth with a variety of pastries, chocolates, truffles etc but they have a fair representation of the savoury stuff as well with quiches, miniature pizzas, burgers etc.<br/><br/>As I needed a morning fix of coffee I opted for a cappuccino and a deep dish pizza for company. The coffee and the pizza were excellent, nothing flashy but good which is what one wants. Must go back soon to keep my belly happy.<br/><br/>Cheers,

Ambiance - 3/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Price - 3.5/5<br/>Summary : A cute little place, where barely six groups of two can be accommodated. Nevertheless, I was extremely happy with the food, service and price!<br/><br/>Visited Happy Belly Bakes on a rainy evening and opted for a #SmallCupofCappuccino #RedVelvetCake and #Chicken&OliveQuiche. To my surprise, each of these dishes were made flawlessly, with the right amount of every important ingredient. The Red Velvet Cake was soft and fresh. The cream was not-too-sweet or not-too-numb. The bright red cake matched perfectly with the hot cup of cappuccino. You may not be served coffee with art; however, their cappuccino does taste home-made. Just what anyone would need on a cold, rainy day. Chicken & Olive Quiche was made to perfection. It had a creamy core, a fat layer of cheese and big chicken slices. The Quiche was dressed with neatly cut olives. Though I didn't like the outer bread, I did enjoy the core of the quiche. <br/><br/>In terms of pricing, I spent Rs. 257 on these three dishes. (Reasonable I would say!) And, service would have been better if there was one more person! I was quite happy to see a single guy, manage all the tables as quickly as possible but with a wide smile on his face. <br/><br/>Pros:<br/>1) Good, home-like food<br/>2) Affordable<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>1) Too small, you may not find seats<br/><br/>Would I visit this place again? Yes, I will.. Would love to try their BlueBerryCake, LemonTart and CupCakes :)

Happy Belly is a nice little bakery near Richards Park. Its got a very quiet cafe ambiance. I visit this place quite often as its right in the neighborhood.  They might be a little more pricey than other bakeries but all their desserts taste good. They also have few sandwiches and puffs throughout the day,my favorite being the chicken and olive quiche. I also love their cupcakes(nutella and cookies and cream) but they are a tad bit pricey.  They got some pretty good drinks too.Hot chocolate and chamomile tea is what I usually order. Its a nice place to hang out in the evenings but they close by 8 pm.  The service is really nice here and the guy who attends to you is really polite and sweet.

Oh my God! Its the cutest little place. The hot chocolate brought out the child in me. I could have licked the cup clean(may be i did..:P) . Its a cozy little place with a variety of desserts to just die for. The red velvet has the yummiest buttercream . <br/>You can go there all dressed up with your friends or on a date or just casually hang out and not feel out of place. I strongly recommend it for people with a sweet tooth and love for chocolates. yummm!

I visit happy belly quite often for a quick fix because its in the neighbourhood. It has a nice patisserie ambience. I love all the desserts here- the macaroons, lemon tart, chocolate mousse, creme brulé, brownies, etc. The taste of the cupcakes I feel has gone down over the years and I hope they work on that. Although I've never eaten the cakes they make on order; I've seen them in the shop and they look perfectly done and very professional. I've also heard that their hot chocolate is good, so I need to give that a try soon. The savoury items here like the quiche's and puffs are all great too. Their prices are as much as any other patisserie type of place in Bangalore, and will definitely leave you with a happy belly.

Their menu and display is quite impressive for a open space. I did a takeaway of lemon meringue pie that left a very bad taste in my mouth and the chocolate mousse cup that was not very impressive either. The ambiance was quite pleasant and they were good with their service. The meringue on the pie the spoiler in the story. Better one next time perhaps!

Just Woah! I placed an order on Friday as an eleventh hour approach with Happy Belly for a half Kg Giant Red Velvet Cupcake as a Birthday Surprise for a friend! I was so impressed with the prompt response I got, not to mention the cake which turned out fantastic! Thanks Happy Belly! It really made her day special ! :D

An 11th hour search (& rescue, of the day :D) mission for a berry-based birthday cake ended at Happy Belly Bakes, a tiny store near Richard's Park in Frazer Town. A quick call to confirm the availability and a few hours later, we were driving back with a Blueberry Cheesecake. <br/><br/>The store offers cakes, chocolates and some savouries too. It is apparently popular for its macaroons, which we wanted to try, but for lack of time, did not. It houses 2-3 "tables for two". And the one staff present that day was a really helpful and sweet person.<br/><br/>Coming to the cake, the majority in our group liked it, including the birthday boy (most importantly). However, I'm not yet sold on cheesecakes (in general) and hence, didn't really take to this one either. <br/><br/>VFM - Slightly on the expensive side. This 1-kg cake cost us Rs.1030 (with taxes). <br/><br/>Note - They take online orders & home delivery as well (48-hr notice).<br/><br/>Verdict - This one experience is not enough to give a definitive judgement. Will definitely be trying out their offerings in the future. Going by the lack of negative opinions within our group, I'd say, go for it. <br/><br/><br/><br/>

Cute and quaint place which is very easy to miss. I have only tried the cakes here which aren't really the best ones I've had, but were alright. <br/>Yet it's the only place within Frazer Town that makes proper Red Velvet cake, so it has that going for them.

Long pending review! This was my visit to B'lore where I was on a food exploring spree...I love these petit coffee shops with cute ambience more than the large ones with careless service..My frenz who are bangaloreans are regular visitors to this place and know the cafe guy too well..Quick service. Excellent hot chocolate, refreshing tea all priced very reasonable!<br/>If u r a bangalorean and are taking a stroll down the streets, happen to see this place, hop in for some hot chocolate. Am sure u won't regret!<br/>Belly happy Me happy :)

A small place located behind Richards Park, opposite French Loaf. If you love chocolate, this is the perfect place to be at. The chocolate gnash, chocolate truffle, chocolate biscuits and moose are fantastic.

The best place for a hot chocolate!! Every other place gives a bournvita as a hot chocolate and this place actually take the pain of making one and giving a lovely hot chocolate to you! The mousse in a cup dessert is also one of the favorite! Always end up taking them home ! A must try for desserts!

The worst blueberry cheesecake and red velvet cake I've ever had. They were nice enough to take the red velvet cake back, neither me nor my friend could bring ourselves to eat any of it. Decent cold coffee though.

Now this is that perfect little tiny place in Fraser town where one can chill, have a desert, and some green tea and a smoke. It's tiny, it's perfect. The deserts are yum. Prices are economical. And the snacks are great. <br/><br/>Must try's are Cheesecakes, other cakes, and macaroons. Supeeeer! :)
