Review Chicken County - Bengaluru

Mayank Naik
Great place to eat non veg food. We had ordered Chicken Biriyani and Chicke. Tandoori Half. Both were great, tasty and mouth watering. The tandoori was a bit spicy but was good. Loved the taste. Service took around 7 to 10 minutes. Nice experience.

Just amazing and a perfect place for travelers as it is located near the metro and bus stand. The food is just amazing. Their biriyani was great, the lime juice was perfect. The most tasty rolls i have tasted are here. Chicken and egg roll made me realise they had some of the best rolls. Then came the chicken tikka roll just perfect, loved every single bite. They use romali roti for the roll. Ambience is okish.

They have refurbished their centre and now the ambience is good. Food and service is very good. Had been here last year and visited today again. A good option for people around this area. Family section dining is also available. They have good spread of veg and nonveg options in the menu, and prices are affordable comparatively. Overall good experience.

We recently dined at Chicken County Restaurant in Majestic, Bangalore, and opted for their non-vegetarian cushion, North Indian, and Chinese offerings, including Biryani, fruit juice, and ice cream. Our choice of rumali roti with butter chicken was satisfactory. The food was reasonably good, and the service was quick and efficient. However, I found the prices to be on the higher side. The ambiance was decent, contributing to an overall okay dining experience. Parking may be challenging and Roads are quite crowded with one way traffic regulations!

Serving variety of foods.... Serve time is really fast. The restaurant is spacious and best place for family dine in.... Drinks are outstanding... Halal food is served......

I highly recommend this place to all the tourists! Ambience is very nice and the services is too good. All the food we ordered was tasty and very quick. My most favourite and must try food here is litchi milkshake which is totally a WOW!!!!
Vani
Decent restaurant. Less crowded. Tastes good but costly. Great ambience

A quaint little restaurant just next to Mayura Hotel and at the boarding point for almost all private buses that travel interstate. Jump in for a quick bite and you won't be disappointed by the variety nor taste. Ambience is ok and service is super fast and the quantity of food is adequate as well. Chicken lollipop was exceptionally good.

I lyk this restro soup most I enjoying when I eat

service was too good so is food,
pepper kebab, Hyderabadi gravy and ghee rice all were 4.5/5. (if you like spicy food)
Let down was wheat paratha,
reasonably priced menu.
Recommended 👍🏻

This is my first experience in Bangalore, and I got to know about this place from our auto driver as we were too hungry and wanted a place nearby Majestic.

Chicken County is your quintessential multicuisine restaurant that serves almost anything inside the North Indian, Mughlai, and Chinese domain. It is a two storey restaurant. The ground floor consists of a 20-24 people seating space, an open kitchen, and a small mocktail counter. They have taken great care of food hygiene and I was surprised to see such well maintained cleaning and cooking process. The 1st floor is relatively dim lit, but filled with family size tables, and the area is pretty huge.

We tried out:
Chicken Sweet Corn Soup: Now, I know one should expect it to be a tad sweet and non-spicy, but this one was more like a badly cooked dessert.

Family Pack Chicken Biryani: This is basically an assortment of 4 regular Chicken Biryani served with Raita and Sambar( a big deal-breaker). 8 large chunks of chicken were served, but the rice was grossly overcooked with dry fruits. I am new to Bangalore, so don't know much about their Biryani habits, but it certainly didn't ignite my taste buds. However, the quantity is enough for 4 people.

Mutton Hyderabadi: This one was better than the others, and despite an overpowering Coconut smell, it actually tasted delicious. The mutton pieces were tender.

I didn't have much expectation from this place and it was an average experience at best. However, the place is affordable and the quantity is appreciable as well.

Recently visited bangalore for a business trip. I heard that bangalore is popular for continental food and south indian break fast. But because hectic schedule i choose this place. I had chicken biryani. It's very tasty and well cooked soft pieces of chicken made my day. Thanks dude. I took parcel to room. Nice experience.

This is the place for the people who likes nonveg, i am the oldest customer of this hotel and mr.anand who serves food for me is very friendly and no need to order food for me because he knows my food what i am eating regularly and food is also very tasty ......
Mriganka MiDas
Tried the chicken shawarma, veg fried rice and Hyderabadi egg. It wasn't the authentic shawarma and the taste was pretty bland. But the rice and egg were really good! Although egg was a tad bit spicy.

Though it's known for Chicken dishes, Paneer Tikka Masala and Butter Kulcha tasted good too.
Service is good.
The ambience needs to be improved.
If you are a chicken lover, you can try out a lot of different dishes at a budget friendly price.

Date - 28-12-2017

We had ordered Lemon Chicken, Tandoori kabab, 4 Rotis, Kaali mirch chicken gravy (spicy one, with 5-6 pieces) and jeera rice.

Every dish was presented very well (quality and quantity) and taste was very nice. We loved every bit of it. The server was very polite and sweet. This is a bookmark for us.

Will definitely visit in future.

PS - Deducted 0.5 because of the stink near the wash basin. If taken care of it, it's a 5.

Additional info - Dishes are not presented how they're shown in pics. I think they were presenting it in that way, but it's much better now and you will love it as soon as you see the dish on your table.

Food(4/5)- Good quality food.
Service (4/5)- Very friendly servers.
Ambience( 3/5)- Calm place.
Rest room ( 4/5) - Clean rest rooms.
Value for money ( 3.5/5)- Very tasty food with little high cost.
A pleasant experience, loved the visit.

It’s a delicious reality of dining: Some of the finest meals you’ll ever have will be ones you eat on your feet – or on the street, as the case may be, comfort food. And bring an extra napkin or two. You’ll need them.

I was in Bangalore for a few days and they had the most yummiest food and the best part is that they have Halal meat!

Their chicken noodles and the grill was yumm!!!

Highly recommend this place!
LeelaMohan Peruboina
I went with family and ordered tandoori roti along with baby corn manchurian and egg 65. In tandoori roti we found hand bandage. We were surprised after seeing hand bandage in food. This proves how un hygenic the food
Shashidhar Telagavi
All time crowded and well maintained restaurant.

Very quick service and good taste. Briyani & Kabab must try. Even fried rice also.

Restaurant very well known in Gnadhi Nagar Street, till mid night you will get the food here. Specially travelers they prefer more here.
Dinesh Krishnan
Tasty Food since it Seems adding food colouring and tasting Salts (Ajinomoto).... After food tounge and stomach getting little bit uneasy feeling....
Adarsh Patil
The food here is tasty but the only thing is they use food colour. Or else its a 5.0 rating for sure from me. Prices are reasonable. Closes very late at night.
Syamantak Sen
Had Andhra Tikka Kebab, Egg noodles and a Fresh Lime Soda.
Must say that food is great.
Cost is quite reasonable.
Service is quick.Staff members are polite.
I would have been happier had the restaurant been air-conditioned and the ambiance been a bit better.
Navaz Mohammed
Decent ambience and not so fine dine but a good range of food especially chicken stuff. I liked grill chicken and mayonese. Ice cream was really good.
Siddharth Krishnan
The place has been conditioned quite well, great ambience.restaurant staffs are well trained and are good with their work. I had a grilled chicken which was really good with nice flavours, moist, juicy and wasn't over grilled. Only the mayonnaise was a bit over sweet which was a let down, would recommend you to change that.
Debleena Bose
Went for lunch which turned out to be fairly nice. It can be try for chicken lovers. Ordered chicken 65 which was well cooked with right amount of spices and the chicken was fresh and soft.
Soumodip Saha
Ordered chicken roll from this place. The roll was just delicious with a perfect mixture of chicken and spices. 75 rupees worth spend. Nice place for a late night dinner.
Babu Samuel
Lousy food the waiter brought me pepper chicken dry...... which was hot on the other layer and cold on the inside..... the dish tasted of only pepper.... I gave a proper advice to the bearer but he never cared
Ihsan
You are taking a bus/train out of blr from majestic and you want to have some non veg food this is the best place. The prices are decent and food especially chicken dry items are tasty. The hygiene also is not an issue
Kuntal ??✈️❄️
Food-3/5
Hygiene-3.5/5
Service-3/5
Price-4/5
Ambience-3/5

Its one of those decent eateries located near the bus station. That would be the right expectation. Nothing too fancy. Ordered Tandoori Chicken which seldom goes wrong. The stuff that we got here had too much of oil brushed on it. Probably it was not fresh off shelf or they prepare it that way. So next thing we ordered was chilly chicken dry which was road side spicy types. Chicken Malai Tikka was good. Prefer to sit on 1st floor which is less crowded and kitchen being om 1st floor they serve it fast there.

Suggestion - if you want order fast and good food, order something less extravagant. Cold Drink is served here in same steel glass they serve water. So if its not fine with you and you prefer glass of different variety, you don't get it here. Best thing here is you get to stuff at cheap rate and food is good too. When I say good, its hygienic enough at near bus stand.

Looking for a good place to have some tasty food in Bangalore. Foundd this place in zomato,
We ordered crispy chicken, gee rice, schezwan chicken noodles and pepper chicken dry.
Crispy chicken was too good, was so tasty it was finger licking good.
Schezwan noodles was also good.
Gee rice was unflavourful. It was low in gee but gee rice with low gee is awkward and pepper chicken was also not properly seasoned.
It is a good place with lots of varieties with affordable price
Tejas Kuvelkar
A VFM place for kebabs located at a prime location... Been here on a suggestion from a friend.... Loved the kalimirchi kebab and the zaffrani kebab... Service was very quick... Thumbs up!
Suraj Salian
This is a restaurant located in a very crowded area in Majestic. The restaurant is always crowded but understandably so. They serve amazing Indian food here. The kind that you crave for after a long tiring day. Just go for a biriyani and some kababs or some butter naan and butter chicken and you are set.
Valerian Pereira
Tasted a pinch of paneer masala... Damn. I am a big fan... And I am going to visit the place again and again and again...
Keep up the awesome work chef... Cheers
Poorani Karunn
Since the place is located on a busy street I expected very less out of it. I went there twice and I would say both times were actually satisfying. Almost everything they offered except for the Briyani turned out to be good. Best idea is to have tandoori along with their wide options of gravies. The mushroom and dum aloo were just the way I like them. The desserts did not look appealing but that would not stop me from going there again. The place is decent and affordable too.

One of the busiest hotel in gandhinagar..truly pocket friendly though taste varies smetyms. Chicken tandoori masala is a must try and among starters drums of heaven.known for its late night parcel services.ambience nothing special.waiters aren't that friendly.overall a nice budget hotel with good taste.
Sayantan Adhikari
Love that resturant....Take away service, cleanliness and service all are good.No extra delay in service no matter how many customers are in there.Must try the shawarma roll and kalmi kebab...
I loved this place....in my college days this was a go to place for me and my friends to satisfy our chicken cravings as our hostel food was pathetic...back then it used to be a single story hotel with a mediocre ambience and not so good crowd...7 to 8 years from then, today its a multi storey outlet with non a/c and special a/c section for families and roof top area...this was the first place I liked in Bangalore for their chicken preparations...we used to start with grilled / tandoori chicken , kalmi kabab, pepper chicken , drums of heaven in starters...followed by my favourite chicken county special gravy and Kerala parota and sometimes ghee rice...I must say all the starters i named above were awesome...chicken county special gravy was our favourite in the gravy as they served chicken legs (4) in one full plate and the gravy was garnished with dry fruits...it tasted really nice...this place had become our favourite right from our college life as they offered a very nice quantity tasty dishes at moderate prices..we now choose to sit in the a/c hall ...the prices there are higher than the non a/c seating area...the only thing that might concern you is the locality... However families do come in big numbers there as well...I would say give it a try and see for yourself...a 4 because this place is very close to my heart as all our friends even today gather in this place and relive our college memories...
Rajashekar Kemparajaiah
A place known for their consistency on chinese chicken starters & grilled chicken at an economical price. This outlet in Gandhinagar offers varied seating including a family dining area. Recommended dishes would be any chinese chicken starter, grilled chicken, jeera/ghee rice.
Note: do not be confused with another outlet of chicken county facing the majestic bus stand.

Just entered because I was damn hungry and this had a big banner/board of the name

Chickenbiriyani was a normal roadside kind stuff just to fill ur stomach not so tasty

Had ordered pepper tandoor chicken, could not find even a pinch of pepper in it...

Rating 2.5 just because it filled my stomach....
Yash Sinha
do try chicken drums of heaven in starter .... its totally awesome... loved the servicing. was pretty fast . food is also good . nice place to go
Soumya Roy
The place is good...the food over here is good..especially the "Grill Chicken" but the only shit problem is they don't accept card payment!!!
Ameya Purandare
One of the tastiest food joints in the city.
Must try butter chicken along with kerala parotta. Actually any chicken gravy or starter is good.
Taste - 8/10
Service - 6/10
Ambience - 6/10
Value for money - 8/10

This restaurant reminds me of cool memories with my old pals. Really mesmerizing quality of food with innovative chicken dishes. Prices are reasonable as compared to quality and quantity. So, it is a must visit place those who are chicken-loving.
Harshad Amerkar
Well!! have been hear many times in past 2-3 years and yess!! they serve good food at reasonable price as per the standard of the place.

I won't say it as a great place but it is a good place for heavy lunch, food is really tasty, service is not that good.

Menu--4
Taste--4
Service--3
Ambiance--3.5
Quality--4

Good place to hangout.... good taste.. nothing much about ambiance... not a place for family... very old restaurant located in a perfect place....
ABHIJITH SUDHAKAR
Have been to this restaurant a few times with my friends, situated near Sukh sagar complex, Gandhinagar..

PARKING: This restaurant does not have a parking area and since the road is busy and conjested, parking for four wheel can be a problem.

AMBIENCE: This restaurant is a two floor setup and quite big with plastic chairs and tables, place is clean...

FOOD: Have tasted Grill chicken, Chicken kabab, Tandoori chicken, Roti Butter chicken, Chicken biryani and fish fry, except for fish fry all the other dishes were decent..

SERVICE & COST: service depends on the crowd.. But is Reasonably quick.. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food they provide..

Harish Palaniappan
A low priced restaurant in bangalore that serves good food.
The restaurant is quite bright with those yellow boarding all over.
Their rice varieties were okayish but the tandoori chicken was delicious. The roti types were also good.
Coneenika Choudhuri
It's a very colorful restaurant right opposite Majestic Bus Stand. There is very less chance it does not catch your eye.
Spawning across two floors, it houses both vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisine. The food is decently priced and nice in taste.
Their mutton kolhapuri is what I loved a lot! Do remember to try out their amazingly named fruit juices and milk shakes. The menu is tastefully decorated and tempts you to buy one of those! The juices with ice-cream generally come in a tall glass and are totally worth it. I tried a different flavor everytime I went there!

Nice place under budget...paneer kadai and kalmi kebeb is something for which i can go there again...and they give free party hall too!! ?

It has become adda for all hostel students near gandhinagar, specially for uvce hostel students, nice cosy place to visit near majestic.Starters are really nice in the place and the main course is not satisfactory and I loved the desserts over here.
Diptajeet Datta
The only thing I like in this restaurant is the kalmi kebab. The branch in New BEL road serves the one of the best kalmi kebabs, the Majestic branch doesn't stand a chance when compared to it.
Pradeep La Gloire
Value for money restaurant. However its better to stay with their kebabs, the Roti's n gravys aren't that great. Happen to be here twice n both occasions kebabs were great n others screwed. For the first time I found food color being added to palak panneer. Average ambience.
Pruthvi Shetty
Consider this if you're planning to order food home. Not really a place to dine in. The delivery is fast and pricing is surprisingly reasonable. The bread and chicken curry are good. Would recommend the Chicken tikka Masala and Chicken Hyderabadi. Biriyani isn't all that great.
The starters are their USP. The grilled chicken, Andhra tikka (This will redefine your definition of spicy) and Badam kabab are worth a try.
Hemant Chavan
This restaurant has good quality.. Worth for money. i liked it.
Taste of chicken was also nice.
But i experienced the worst service ever.
@Abhijeet Alase

food *** 3 star
economy *** 3 star
service *** 3 star
ambiance ** 2 star
its a nice and economic place to visit if u r in majestic, and want a quick bite. tandoori and kebabs r good, biryanis r nice, gravies r not good, chinese items r dabba means u ll only taste sauces in all the chinese items
Bharathesh D.B.
I would rate for quality of food. Service is not good.

We started our dinner with chicken cabab, lolli pop and thanduri chicken. It was lip soaring look at the starters, even server took quite long time to serve starters. Chicken Marsala was little oily and butter naan too. I like butter chicken Marsala , which was nice combination with thanduri roti.

Finally, I would say, its good, worthy place except not good service.
Venkat Krishna
beware don't try briyani their concept is color rice with added chicken which is leftover is the concept if you ask then u get shit on face "the greed of a hotelier & ignorant to customer feed back certainly kills the business
Alif Hossain
Lived upto it's name. Tandoori chicken- aa must try out in the menu. The ambience was OK types. But the service was not up to the mark. Need to re-innovate their menu card.
Girish Asokan Nambiar
One of the best places for Malabar cuisine in town. Plus really economical..only ambience is bit of a worry..
Muzaffar Ahmad Noori Bajwa
Place is not very cozy not even very hygienic but the quality of food I tasted is good here.
Try at least once if you are in Bangalore.
Debanjan Chowdhury
Awesome non veg food with reasonable price. Every non veg lovers will love this place specially chicken starters.
Madhavi
It was our marriage anniversary so, we ordered from this restaurant.
Butter chicken was not butter chicken at all..the taste was terrible & it had 4 -5 stale pieces of chicken. The kababs were sweet.chicken used was stale.not value for money at all.
Aji C Joseph
It's amazing friends...you must visit.....it's a decent restaurant with reasonable rates n delicious stuffs, ample of space too...
Silpika_says_so
This place is the 1st place i ever had food in Bangalore. Back 4 years i used to visit my frnds n bang and used to stay around Gandhinagar and this was my best food destination.
Food was good not extra-ordinary....A very good VFM. Service was kinda ok. Rush upto the limit.
Worth trying drums of heaven. Spicy upto the last extent.
Akshay Patil
This is a regular hangout for me as I work at tcs. This hotel is good. Ceylon paratha is wonderful here. Chicken biryani is good too
Vishwanath Bilvanath
Been comin to this place frm ages.... A average restaurant.... And everything is affordable....
Vinay Kumar Hy
One best thing I wud appreciate N wud like to highlight is 'Economical' !!
:: We get what we pay for :o) ::
Starters are good and main course is average, not to forget the menu demands exquisite revision in diversity.
Other thing that I should point out is ambience which is really good. A fair atmosphere for the people who wants to hangout with their group of herds ;o).

So all in all, thumbs up for Chicken County !!
Suhas Padil
i'm a regular to this restaurant since its close to my residence. they serve really good grilled chicken, tandoor chicken.almost all the dry chicken items are good. main course items are average in taste. drums of heaven is their signature dish. its very economical n worthy. the only dissapointment is that the food over here is not consistently good. there are some days the food is totally distatsteful. hope you are there on a lucky day!
and for veggies the paneer makhanwala is a very good maincourse on the menu.
