A quite corner on weekdays at the busy church street. Not sure how it will be on weekends. Fairly large selection of local foods and a smattering of pizza and pasta thrown in. We just had some aloo tiki chat and Adrak tea. Chaat : was fresh and hot Tea : light (I like mine strong ) but good. Pot for 2 is sufficient for 4. Happy service

They have variety of chai and i tried adrak chai which was good. The way of serving chai is unique and also they offer Parle-G biscuit small pack with chai which is free. Ambiance was good and cool themes they have made up with. Do visit and enjoy and spend good time.

This is a budget friendly place on church street with a quirky bollywood theme ambience and a colorful seating which I l loved! They have varieties of freshly brewed tea that you can enjoy such as cutting chai, sulaimani chai, ice tea or cold coffee and more! They have snack, lunch or dinner options in food. Don’t miss their super budget friendly meals at Rs. 132! It’s so fresh and tasty, I loved it!! Do try their Vada Pav , Pav Bhaji, veg pakoda , pizza and sandwiches!! Highly recommend you guys to visit this place!

Heard a lot about this place in church street. I tried the special falooda, the taste was wholesome. I have heard that the chai is good too and they have a lot of snack options. The whole vibe there is of bollywood theme with old Hindi songs on the background and Hindi actors posters. They have a cute little chai related decorations and also swing seats which are great for a good pic! Enjoyed the cute vibe.

We stumbled upon this place with a rather interesting menu. We ordered a masala Maggie, cheese vada pav and paneer pizza. The Vada pav was an absolute winner for me! If you have low spice tolerance, the masala Maggie might be too much for you. Pizza was average but the masala chai in the end made up for it!

The vibe was great. It has a Bollywood theme. The setting is good for hanging out with friends or even talking a partner for date. Family friendly place. Staff behaviour is very good. And the place was very clean and hygenic. Would recommend. Had fun sipping some tea on a rainy day.

A good place in church street to chill and relax over a cup of chai and some food. The taste of food is good , but the service is a bit on the slower side. The ambience of the place is good , with all the lights , taps and all made up of some theme relating to a chai stop Overall would recommend this place.

This place has such great ambience the Chai ketli with Bollywood movies that's really amazing and something innovative. The food is good at decent price. Try chole chulche, tea, parathas.

Heard about this place so tried. Liked the corn cheese toast, pizza and pasta. Vadapav was very sadly done. Will give a try once again and explore more options!

What better way to spend the cold evenings of Bengaluru than with a hot cup of chai and some pakoras? Well, this cosy little café located on JNC Road in Koramangala is your answer to all of your chai needs.

SHORT REVIEW:

Pocket-friendly pricing, no-nonsense menu that has all your needs covered, cosy and comfortable place, and conveniently located on the JNC Road. What more can you ask of a café? Oh yes, the food is quite tasty as well. No complaints about the service either!

MUST TRY:

Bulldozed, Darjeeling Soda, Tofu Bhurji, Angrezi Maggi, Pesto Maggi, Chikku Cream

DETAILED REVIEW:

Was here one evening with a couple of friends, so we tried a few items from the menu. These included:

Bulldozed – This is a unique twist on iced tea, which is laced with Red Bull, which I love. The drink was really amazing and helped me feel quite refreshed.

Darjeeling Soda – Although listed under the category of teas, this is primarily lime soda. However, it was one among the better lime sodas I’ve had anywhere.

Angrezi Maggi – A twist on the normal maggi, with enhanced flavours and spices, it is large enough to fill your tummy. The taste is awesome too!

Pesto Maggi – Another variant of their Maggi preparation, this has hints of pesto sauce. While I would have liked the pesto flavour to be a bit more dominant, it was tasty nonetheless.

Tofu Bhurji – This dish deserves a super-special shoutout! Even if you aren’t a fan of Tofu, after eating this dish, you are sure to fall in love with it. It tasted almost exactly like egg/paneer bhurji and you couldn’t even make out it is tofu! Kudos to the chef!

Garlic Khakra – This a normal khakra, nothing unique about it, but serves as a good accompaniment to a hot cup of tea.

Alu Samosa – Not many places in Bangalore make good samosas, and this one here, I have to admit, is a really good one.

Shroomy Risotto – Didn’t have high expectations of a good risotto, considering it is a chai café, but boy was I wrong! The risotto was quite authentic and yummy, with generous helpings of mushroom.

Mumbaiwalla Sandwich – Had some high expectations on this sandwich, but it was pretty average.

Mosambi Juice – This is probably the tastiest and thickest Mosambi juice I have tasted. Loved it!

Chikku Cream – Not many places serve fruit cream in Bangalore and I was excited to try this item. It was heavenly to say the least. Definitely a must-have if you visit.

I wasn’t in the mood for hot teas that day, so decided to give it a skip, and come back some other time for their hot teas, which I have heard are awesome.

OVERALL VERDICT:

If you like having tea with some light snacks, either solo or with friends, this place is definitely worth a visit.

We visited this place for an evening snack and tried a few items. The food was awesome and the service was prompt. We tried Angrezi Maggi, Nachos Platter, Shikanji and Darjeeling Soda. All the dishes were prepared well and the taste was great. The service was also quite good. Looking forward to visiting this place again.

This cafe with its rustic and Bollywood styled theme is worth a visit. The colorful interior teamed with bollywood movie posters and quirky lighting add up to the glam factor. They have an extensive range of teas for every pallate.

Cutting Elaichi Chai
Definitely all the chai lovers are going to this place without a doubt just after seeing this picture.
There is huge variety of chai to select from with some great evening snack options.
Cutting elachie chai had a really mild and refreshing flavour served in a teapot with a cute Parle-G to make it a perfect combo. The place has an amazing ambience making you feel nostalgic with its 90's ke gane and bollywood theme

Food : 5/5
Cost: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Location:5/5
Staff: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Cleanliness: 5/5

Chai Galli for the best Jasmine tea, cutting chai, masala chai, Tulsi chai goes on and on.

Chai is an anytime drink for us. We love chai and we have it twice a day. A good Authentic cup of chai, those you find in any Indian street corners is a perfect balance between tea and milk. @chai galli brews tea in such a way that perfectly combines the strength of black tea with sweetness of hot milk, made amazing with adding sugar. Chai lovers must visit @chai galli for the perfect Authentic tea with Parle-G biscuits.

Chai is India's most popular and beloved beverage. Chai lovers are in every book and corner of the country. Chai has always been and excellent conversion builder. We love going for tea parties and chai galli is the perfect place as the ambience is set for the perfect cup.

Cutting chai is my favorite, it is all time classic and with less milk more water. The taste completes when u dip the Parle-G biscuits into it and take a bite. No words to explain this perfect combination. Jasmine tea is nothing but the best I like to have when I don't feel like having tea with milk and sugar. Not always you have green tea, jasmine tea is also a choice for people who do not want to have milk in tea.

Tea is not complete without a snack with it. The perfect snack is the baji or Bun maska. I also love the combination of maggi and tea. Aloo samosa loved by all Indians and vada pav is the best at chai galli. They have the complete list of snacks that will be best combined with a cup of chai. The onion baji is the best. Most of us love to have Pastas with tea. @chai galli has anything that goes with tea. Tea is nothing but an emotion for India and we love to have it with the best combination of snacks not just a cup of it.

For any further questions drop in: thekhanalovers@gmail.com

#thekhanalovers

The Chai here is awesome. Mashed potato is a must try. The place has an amazing ambience making you feel nostalgic with it's 90's ke gaane. Perfect place to get your Chai break.

Chai Galli is a small outlet in 5th Block, Koramangala which serves pure vegetarian dishes. As the name suggests, their speciality is tea and the snacks associated with it.

The place is very dimly lit, with small yellow lights all around. The seating arrangement is simple and adequate. The whole ambience suffices for the outlet but it can surely be better.

Coming to the food and drinks, most of the dishes tasted good but nothing great or different. The ginger tea and "Bulldozed" drink were quite great, but nothing else was that exceptional. Furthermore, Broccoli Pasta was very good as well.

Still, a lot of improvement required when it comes to iced teas, food and drinks. A little bit of improvement here and there should do the trick!

Finally, the service was quite good. The staff members were available all the time and made sure that we are served well. They were very courteous and nice.

Overall, it's a good place to spend some time, sipping tea and binging on snacks with your loved ones!

Koramangala is a crowded place, with infinite options for any kind of food one looks for. Tea & snacks is no different. Found this gem of a place in Koramangala 5th block, a cozy & comfortable place to spend some time with great tea & good food.
Recently visited this place with a bunch of friends.
With so many varieties of tea to choose from, we stuck to basics to start with. With a hot & refreshing ginger tea and aloo samosa, we were all set for the next.
Among all the food & chai that i had, I loved the varieties of Maggi & Kashmiri Khava. The Broccoli pasta was fresh too.
Ambience: 5/5
Tea: 5/5
Service: 5/5

Chai Galli is a quaint café on JNC Road, Koramangala. Being a tea lover, was extremely glad to visit it. A Café has an extensive tea menu , both Indian and continental fast food served in a spacious cafe with Bollywood-themed decor. 🤩

The cafe is spacious and with moderate lit interior. The service is warm and prompt!

Coming to food, the menu is typical cafe menu along with some fast food items, menu is pure vegetarian. The cheese fries, broccoli pasta was good, nachos were also good, the brownie was good, optimal fluffy and goes well with their masala chai. The Kulcha is certainly not the best you'd eat so can be skipped. However, the cream with cherries was excellent 🤗🤗✔️

➡️ There’s an impressive spread of Tea variants in the menu, the tea is categorized into into classic chai, kashmir se kanyakumari tak, Jasmine, black tea, white tea, handcrafted tea, ice tea, oolong tea & Indian classics.
Truly a vegetarian delight and those looking for a quick bite with a hot cuppa
If you're a non-vegetarian but want a cuppa of kadak chai, do visit

Ambience-4/5
Service-5/5
Taste-5/5 for most items
Value for money-5/5

Chai Galli is a café on JNC Road, Koramangala. A Café with extensive tea menu with snacks & sandwiches served in a spacious cafe with Bollywood-themed decor. A pleasant & chill full place to hang out after your office breaks.

Typical café style ambiance with Bollywood theme, effective utilization of space with good amount of seating capacity.

Food menu is typical cafe menu along with some street food items, menu is pure vegetarian. The food was delicious and not too oily & spicy. A food with perfect mixture of taste and healthyness. Their masala chai is extremely refreshing and short eats from shaandar snacks, chatpata chat, samosa/vada pav, baki sab, phucka aur pakode, good ol nasahta, feeling sandwiched is also to try for. there's a huge spread of Tea variants in the menu, the tea alone is categorized into into classic chai, kashmir se kanyakumari tak, essentially tea, green tea, black tea, white tea, handcrafted tea, iced tea, oolong tea & Indian classics.

excellent service, I really appreciate the effort staff had put in serving us the food, with so many items in place all the items came on time. very attentive staff, staff really did a good job helping us to order best on their menu. We were very pleased with the food, service and ambiance.

Ordered chocolate pan cake and mumbaiwala sandwich. Pan cakes were tasty. Sandwich is normal. Packed well.
Pranav Ramakrishna Bharadwaj
They don't make even a small customisation to your order even though all they serve is simple snacks. Couldn't even taste jam/ butter in their jam bun/ butter sandwich. Overpriced for whatever little they give. Waiters were dumb. The whole setup of this place is very pretentious. Only good thing is they have a table outside where you can smoke having their ₹120 tea with ₹2 ParleG.

My love for tea brought me to this place.
There is nothing that Koramangala doesn't have.
I came with a fellow chai lover.
We really liked the ambiance and most definitely the chai.
Also, the snacks are tasty tooo...

A chai lovers paradise!
What else could I've asked for?

Koramangala is an ever shining destination full of something for everyone.
Chai galli is a great place for some adrak Waali chai (ginger tea), and light snacks like Poha and nachos that go along with it.
The theme is quite Bollywood type with movie posters hanging from the old era.
Will take you to a trip of nostalgia.
Best place for breakfast and for evening snacks!
Just take your group of friends and family and unwind at CHAI GALLI!

Wonderful place to be in. Visited this place around 7pm on a weekday. There were very few customers (which was perfect), in spite of being on the very busy JNC road. That was a relief. The place is air conditioned. And the prices are reasonable. Ber friendly staff. The menu is simple (doesn't have too many dishes to choose from, yet suffices). The tea pots are decent and comes with a tiny packet of Parle G biscuits which is just great And the food is fresh and yum. Will be back for more.

Had a great experience. Was instantly impressed by the ambience - old Bollywood movie posters, chai glasses as lights, decorated teapots, and an overall pleasing ambience. The food was a great too. Tried the masala chai, samosas, and hare bhare pakode (vegetable pakodas), all were delicious. The imli chutney served with the samosas was on point! Perfectly balanced. Courteous staff and good service as well. Will surely visit again.

It was Saturday night roaming I find this place. Great filmy ambiance which will give you vibe of 70's 80's time cafe.

So I ordered cheesy garlic bread, green sauce pasta, and lime soda. Cheesy garlic bread was not that good, I didn't find garlic essence in it. And lime soda was also normal it's more like water than lime soda no lemon in it.

Then I asked for pasta the guy over there has suggested me to try green sauce pasta which was eventually good, I haven't eaten this whole lot of veggies in my entire life the pasta was having. 😂 However it's good if you love veggies then you can try, green sauce is nothing but spinach sauce.

I don't drink tea so didn't try. But I would love to take my friends here who love tea.

I'll visit this place again to try some other dishes.
Jyoti Kumari

A mini Bollywood themed cafe.Nice ambience with quick service.

They have wide variety of tea. The most intresting tea i had was Dragon Ball Tea, we ordered this after a lot of discussion which turned out the most aromatic and refreshing decision of evening, it came with a sand timer for light , medium and strong flavour.

We also ordered ginger tea pot, which was served with chaiwala glasses and Parle G biscuits. The food was delicious the chili toast, pakode and chole kulche was lipsmacking.

Chai Galli is a mood in itself. Their food was pretty good, the chai varieties will leave you overwhelmed. The ambience is what I loved the most. It was beautiful and most of the stuff seemed handmade, I recommend the place for the experience.

One of the most satisfying place I've been to in Bangalore.
The ambience has a retro feel with lots of bollywood vibes.
Some unique dishes in the menu. The food had a ghar ka khana wala feel. Best thing i had was the Poha and superb cutting of masala chai, made my day.
Finding a parking is the only constraint. But if you plan to visit here during non-peak hear hours. Highly recommended place.

A nice place to hangout with friends, I love Tadkewali Maggi here 😋🤩🤩
I love ambience as well, Old Bollywood pics and the music is totally awesome, A good place to Visit 🤗

Situated opposite Jyoti Niwas College, this quirky chai place has caught my attention many a time (Not a surprise! We bongs believe anytime can be teatime.) Finally on a lazy midweek holiday, a dire need for a place to chill over tea brought me to this place. It has a retro Bollywood theme going on and offers a wide variety of teas, living up to their catchline “UniTea in DiversiTea”(EXCITING!). And yes, coffee-fanatics, there’s something for you as well.

Their all-vegetarian menu is an eclectic mix of food items ranging from the stereotypical Indian street food like a Vada Pav to Italian delicacies like Risotto. The weight-watchers can choose from the likes of Tofu Bhurji & Channa Chaat. Became a big fan of their Tadkewali Maggi with delicious fried onions on top & just the right amount of garlic. Can’t wait to come back & try more from your menu.
————————————————
What I ordered:
Adraki chai (Pot for two),
Chilli Cheese Toast,
Sev Puri,
Bhelpuri,
Tadkewali Maggi (Must Try!).
————————————————
Pocket pinch: ₹₹
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3.5/5
Service: 4/5

A nice calm n descent place to have your evening tea with a retro ambience and much more to see inside. You would also see the tea kettles, different types of tea ,the dim lights,a variety I would say, some beautiful pictures all around. Every tea is served with a parle g biscuits a nice combination though 😍 I keep trying various tea types here like cutting chai, masala tea, elaochi tea, coffee, rose tea and many more in list too. Quick service.

Loved the ambience of this cosy place.. the staff were great and the service was quick. The chai was good though a little strong for my liking. Loved the quirkiness in the place and setup and their furniture too

The place is strategically constructed to create a rustic feel.
We ordered :
Vegetables on Khakra
Cutting Chai Pot for 2

Tea for two was enough for three.
It was beautifully served with the “chaiwala” glasses and Parle G.

The vegetables on Khakra was a surprise. The topping was tasty but the base wasn’t crunchy due to the toppings.
If you enjoy soggy base desi pizza , you’d love it.

The playlist was a huge hit , however it was terribly understaffed, especially for a Sunday evening

A great place to catch up with your friends family and foes
Aruna Laxmy
Chai galli was this cosy restaurant tucked under hole lotta love in 5th block of kora. I was skeptical about visiting this place since I assumed it would not be appropriate for a meal. I was wrong.
We ordered poori that came with channa which was homely in flavour, not too oily and boiling hot. The Rajasthani tea with saffron was refreshing.
Economical but slightly slowed service
Would definitely come back to try the hibiscus tea that is timed.
Rahul Singi
Must go place for the chai lovers, Maggie, Bun maska, aalu Paratha are good. Almost everything which I have tried here everything is good. And they serve tea with a small Parle-G which makes it more special.

Friendly environment, good place to hangout with family and friends. Tea varieties are good, munchies are also better in that locality...must try for time pass
Suraj Jog
I liked the place. But I didn't like the seats. I had been here because my wife likes tea. And I must say. She was not disappointed. The retro look kept her amused for the entire time we were there(about an hour). The tea and the snacks were nicely made. I had been here twice and would definitely visit again. :)

Has to be one of the places to catch up with your crew and have a good pot of warm tea and fusion maggi and food!

You will love the ambience there and they have a lot of bollywood posters around.
Have to give it up to the service staff and they are really nice and make you feel welcome.

Lot of different types of teas to try out.

Must visit to relax and rejuvenate!

Poor service. We ordered Juice and Khakra Pizza but we ended up waiting for 40mins and did yet receive the order. I did show my displeasure and they were unapologetic.

Chai places are coming up like weeds and yet so few serve real good tea.

This place is one of them.

Its quite a big place though from outside May seem small.

They serve Parle-G with chai which is a welcome addition as many a times we want to eat something very light and none of the other places serve any biscuit. So great going.

Chai is fairly expensive at around 100 for a pot.

Probably will try their food on future visits.

The ambience is sooo cool.. I went with my friend in a dilemma to go or not to the place...ordered chai galli special sandwich and chai for us.. The chai was soo good we remembered our tapri ki chai from our college.. Sandwich was okay but the chai gave us a nostalgia felt it was worthy to visit and even animesh's hosting was nice.. Felt as a friendly atmosphere...!! Hope to visit again

Really good place I loved this place and I ordered a cattle of Rajastani chai , They served Parle G along with it. They even gave extra packet of Parle G biscuits. These small thinks make an difference.

The place is Unnecessarily expensive as in simple things like muska bun cost 100 bucks or something. But really liked the ambience. Rajasthani cardamom safron chai was really nice. Pink sauce panther pasta was ok ok. Go here for light music evenings but don't expect much from the place.

Imagine, you are sitting in a restaurant at 10 in the morning with a couple of books, a few friends, and you see around yourself Bollywood themed posters, utensils, walls, then you listen to good Bollywood cover songs, all while having the best looking (and tasting) breakfast you can have in the town. If you imagined a good experience, then this is the place to be.
Pallavigope24
The place is perfect combination of Bollywood music and Chai. Variety of tea is available. The only thing missing is non veg food otherwise Great service. Great food. Must try.
Ankur Kumar Singh
The food is good, but the restaurant seems a bit careless with online ordering. I ordered two maggies and got delivered one. After that, the bad thing is they don't accept the mistake. They blame it on the delivery guy telling he didn't pick both the maggis.
Ankush Miglani
Went to this place with friends, ordered masala chai and ginger tea it came in a kettle. We ordered a kettle for 2 but it can be good for even 3 people. Tea was good and very nice place for small chit chat with friends. And parleg biscuit was complimentary with tea and tea was really nice.

We had a lot of fun in this place. Being Bollywood fans we enjoyed the music there and we were allowed to dance on a few too. The food tasted good too. Had a great time there.

The place serves one of the best teas and food in koramangala! They take their 'Galli' name very seriously, as it reflects in the interiors of the place, which is done in a dhaba-esque feel! It's soul food all the way here, with the tea and snacks available at an affordable price. The waiting staff is also extremely polite, and a special mention must be made of Mr. Pramod in this regard, who's always got a cheery smile while serving. All in all, a great place to hangout with friends for some 'chai pe charcha'!

Really good place if you are looking for a good tea shop with nice ambience. Perfect place to sit, relax and converse with friends.

We ordered a kettle of ginger tea. Ambience 4/5
Food 4/5
Staff 3.5/5
Quality 4/5

Nice place to have Adda or hangout in. Great ambience and well justified to the name. Good portion of the Tea. Tried the Ginger Tea and Cutting Chai. Both portions were good enough for one. Also tried the traditional Maska Bun, which was good too. Aloo Paratha was awesome. Had clearly a North Indian taste to eat. Staff is courteous. The best part is the Parle G biscuits served with your Tea.

This is the go-to place for tea lovers in Koramangala !! Awesome bollywood themed ambience and great songs too !! The staff here is very hospitable, especially Promod. Their Aloo parantha, ginger tea and Tadke waali Maggi is just simply mind blowing. 🙂

Everything was so good! It’s not just good for tea, even the breakfast menu is very good. Only improvement required is service speed. There was only one waiter serving everyone.

We only tried tea here. We ordered Laung wali chai and it was amazing. Their quantity is quite good as a kettle for 2 serves 3 people. They even gave a Parle-G free. The ambience is quite nice. Bollywood theme. I would go again to this place just for the tea and maybe try out other things as well.

Visited here today after searching on zomato.. ordered bhujia maska bun, vada paav and adhrak ki chai..
Bhujia maska bun was so bad.. they just added bhujia between the buns which they charged 80rs for single piece... which was worth less.. and cheese vada vada pav was soo tasteless. best was adrak ki chai.. the quantity for the amount you pay is too less..

Ambiance: 3/5
Value for money: 1/5
Taste: 1/5

We ordered pudina adarak tea which was very cutely served. The taste was amazing as she says and the decor impressed us.
Do visit tea lovers !

The ambience is good, however I wish the dish we ordered - cheese french fries could be better.
The fries were burnt and we informed the waiter who told us the dish is to be like this.
However, we had lost taste for the food as the cheese was very dry too.
If there were more number of waiters, it would be better.

Chai galli has been given me cure to my post work headaches with their amazing masala chai and Bun maska. They have the most soothing Interiors, the typical 90s Bollywood song list and the best part is the place is not overflowing with the crowd at all times. You can enjoy you piece of mind, work as much as you want or just chill with your friends. It's a great place to be ! The prices are a little high for snacks but, still worth a shot.

A great place to munch on a whole lot of india’s favourite finger foods. Went for a breakfast on a Saturday and the food was just yum. Authentic taste with decent portions and some twist too on some dishes to give a fresh feel and sight to the food!! Tried vada pav, poha, khakhda pizza (!!), veg grill sandwich and kala chana chaat. Masala chai was a slight let down with overdose of milk. Overall a god start to the day for the taste buds and left with a happy stomach!! Worth another visit...👍👍keep it up....

Nice place to have tea in Koramangala. There is few lot of varieties in tea and also in the menu of food. Tried their chaska bun and khawa here..it was quite good. Definitely a must try place in Bangalore..

I ordered for delivery ,paneer and cheese and mushroom sandwich. Bread used was very hard. Only two ketchup pouches were given which were not enough. Filling was good but I had mentioned specifically no chilli's but it was added.

Nostalgic place!!
Takes you back to the 90s. You can visit back those old days over a cup of chai and the best part was the 90’s super hit songs playing in the background. Absolutely loved it and had the best time..with endless cups of chai!
Would definitely visit them again..!

I have been there many many times and I love it everytime. Perfect place for some evening tea with the rustic bollywood themed interior.
The staff is courteous but slow at times.
Had almost everything there but do try Dal pakwan, Dal ke pakode, Hare bhare pakode, corn shots and reslly nice samosa.

Awesome. Simply beat my expectations and is probably better than the outlet in Koramangala.

The mushroom mix and pancakes were both yum and the drinks.

Chai Gali is one of those places that you just cannot afford to miss out on. The place has an ambiance and an aura of its own which sucks you right in.

The music is just beautiful and so are their interiors.

I had the privilege to visit this place and try out some of the dishes myself.
Cheese Nachos was definitely one of my favorite items here but that is not the specialty of this place.

The unique specialties of this place included the Chocolate peanut butter gemmy pizza, chocolate sev puri and th chocolate khakra and I'd be lying if I said they were mindlessly amazing.

The overall vibe and the experience of this place is simply magnetic and I would highly recommend this place to every one of my readers for sure.

Who needs a Guy
When there is chai 🙂

One of our favorite places for chai and the food is such a wide variety that goes well with chai .
Chai Galli is celebrating 2 yr Anniversary and they have curated a special Chocolate themed menu.
Couldn't resist the thought of good chai and some chocolate dishes .

Must Try :
Chocolate Pani Puri
Chocolate , Banana & Peanutbutter Panini Sandwich
Chocolate pizza
Nachos
Rajasthani chai

Let me first talk about the ambiance of this place which stole my heart ❤❤❤
.
The Bollywood themed restaurant looks like it has just come out of Pinterest. .
The color popping ceiling and the adequate lighting works wonders for this place.
.
Celebrating it's 2 years, @chaigalli offers you one of a kind, classically styled #chocolatefestival .
Chocolate peanut butter gemmy pizza was quite palatable,
Chocolate khakra with caramel shrikhand was a unique fusion,
Banana caramel panini with peanut crumble was one of my favorites as the bread balanced the sweetness and extremely appetizing,
White chocolate pani puri was mouth-filling and again a distinctive item in the menu, .
Now to cut the extra sweetness we moved on to zesty savory food and my favorite was ultra- crisp nachos platter with tingly salsa inside.
.
I give this place ****
Do visit this place before the chocolate festival gets over.

Once you step into Chai Galli, you get a nice cozy fuzzy feeling of comfort of a desi version of a cafe. I loved their Bollywood themed decor with walls full of old Bollywood movie posters specially a huge pop painting of Amitabh Bacchan and some great retro numbers being played in the background.

Enough has been spoken about Chai by othere, let me talk about chocolates!

We happened to visit this place during their Chocolate fest month as part of their 2 year anniversary celebration. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see such an elaborate chocolate menu with innovative dishes I could have never imagined with chocolate!
You must try their Banana Caramel Panini with Peanut crumble which had layers of banana, caramel, chocolate inside toasted panini bread, a perfect balance of savoury and sweet! They also had sweet golgappas which had chocolate and strawberry syrup and sprinkles inside it.

We absolutely loved the Chocolate strawberry cheese grilled sandwich, loved how the bread, cheese and chocolate where delicately balancing each other.

We tried the chocolate khakra with Caramel Srikhand and also the chocolate sev puri which were fine too. The chocolate peanut butter gemmy pizza was an interesting twist to the regular pizza with gems sprinkled on top.

In Savoury items, you gotta try their Chole Kulcha, cheese-corn shots and Cheesy Nachos, they tasted even better with all the chocolate that we were gulping down :)

They have some interesting shakes too like the Oreo shake, hot white chocolate peppermint drink, rajasthan chai etc, but special mention goes to their famous CHAI GALLI SPECIAL FALOODA which was a perfect ending to our evening!

The staff was extremely nice and extra caring and the chef took extra effort to come and check if the dishes suited our palette.

If you are a Chai lover or Not, this place has something to offer to everyone at pocket friendly prices.

Ambience- *****
Food - *****
Drinks - *****
Value for money - *****
Staff behaviour- *****

Loved the ambience. Staff was courteous. Food is good. Liked the aloo panini. Daal ke pakode were really good along with the green chutney. Can't say the same for beverages, ordered the falooda with was too sweet and lacked the sewaiyan.

Visited this place on a weekend and it took us back to 80s. The ambiance is amazing with old movie posters and Hindi songs playing. The service was quick and polite. We'd taken chai galli special vada pav, khamani, Kashmiri kahva, dragon balls and pasta with red sauce. The tea was really good and the food was delicious. Visit chai galli if you just want to sit back, sip tea and have long conversations with someone.

Taste: 4
Ambiance: 5
Service: 4
Value for money: 4

Must try the tadke vaali Maggi...and elaichi cutting.... Just amazing... A perfect place for all the chai lovers to hang out ... Ambience is also pretty amazing

I don't know why they have named their restaurant Chai Galli, because their chai is definitely not something to go for.

Why 4 stars then? Their food items are really good (though lil pricey). One of their best item is CHOLE KULCHE. Amazing taste, kulcha with paneer stuffing served with tangy chutney.
Ambience is really good, with retro bollywood style!!

Had been to this place with some friends as we all wanted to have something light. Located in the heart of Koramangala. The ambience is pure retro Bollywood style having posters of old movies. We ordered Cold Coffee, Masala Chai, Lemon Tea, Dal ke Pakode, Vada Pav, Mumbai Wala Sandwich & Tadkewali Maggi. The Cold Coffee & Masala Tea both were good. The Lemon Tea was a different experience as you need to prepare your own tea. They provide you with a timer which helps you to prepare your tea with the right flavor (light, medium or strong). Dal ke Pakode were ok, could have been better. Vada Pav & Tadkewali Maggi tasted nice. Mumbaiwala Sandwich was good as well. Staff were approachable and nice. Pricing was fair. All in all a decent place to hang out with friends with good snacks.

We love this place.. we keep hanging out here mainly cuz our office is pretty close by. Beautiful people here .. you guys must try the chole kulcha, is simply awesome. The chef is one sweet guy, do thank him if you get a chance.

It’s a nice and cozy tea cafe. The indoors are inspired by Bollywood. The food isn’t the best. The pasta was extremely spicy and garlic bread was very average. They have a good choice of drinks. Lemon and mint iced tea is really nice and refreshing. Their normal ginger tea/masala tea is very good and they serve it with a mini packet of Parle G which adds to the nostalgic old school feel. Service can be improved.

Superb staff and awesome food... good music ... best place to enjoy with friends. Aloo pyaz paratha and amritsari kulche are the best dishes

5 stars are awarded for the vibe of any place.

The food can be good.
The pricing can be reasonable.
But the vibe of the place really matters.

And chai galli falls under this very notion.
You can sit here for hours by yourself or having a good conversation with your partner or just enjoying the music.

Been here twice in one week.
Surely recommendable to any one who is looking for a very different quiet experience.
