Review Spice It - Bengaluru

This place is awesome with good ambience and good food. Everything that we ordered was really very good in taste. We had machow soup, kadhai paneer, tandoori roti and fried rice. Although the price is on the higher side, the taste and quantity would compensate that.
Aditya Sharma
Really good food. The food that we ordered during our stay all good and worth the money. The food is priced really good considering the quality of food and the ambience.
Saurabh Roongta
Nice spacious restaurant. Good service and decent food.

The food here is fantastic. Loved the buffet over here. I kept on eating even after my stomach was full. And there was this nice and cheerful guy, Jagadheesh who made sure I was comfortable to the fullest. Kudos to him.

This is in house for IBIS, staffs are polite and friendly. Food is okayish as the options on a daily basis are same. Need to have some variation in dishes in buffet. More options should be included specially in Non veg starter section like Novotel one. Space is good but more food options must be included. Overall medium experience.

Excellent food and service! First of all, thank you Sakshi (treat at the welcome table) and Hritik (serve inside the restaurant) for your excellent service! Sakshi's welcome/treat and Hrithik's service are awesome. I had my long stay at the IBIS hotel and i tasted most of cuisines. Even i had opted all services during my stay at the IBIS i.e. breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet, Ala-cart etc. I like all and it taste actually good. I feel the 'optimum spices' in the food makes all food dishes perfect here! The place is cosy, the environment is good, the best view at window seats! Take a window seat and enjoy your meal.

Decent breakfast options, dosas are really good, and fiter coffee is superb. Service is great too and Sagar’s was very sweet to offer other fruit juices too.

After a disappointing hotel arrangement coz of desired rooms unavailability we head to Spice It with zero expectations and the place turned out to be really hospitable. Christopher and Gautam were so helpful that they made minor adjustment to the mocktails and also made small portion of lassi just because bullet chilli chicken was really spicy. Kudos to them. Food is nice, ambience is super cool, beautiful indian cutlery added to the already beautiful ambience.

IBIS has always been one of those hotels which never disappoints it's food patrons. Located in the same building of Novotel, Bellandur and quite easy to locate. This fine dine restaurant could comfortably accommodate a pack of 80 approximately. I was there on a lazy Sunday with a friend for a lunch. Would you like to know what I have tasted there? Take a look 👉Tibetian thupka with chicken : This noodle soup is simply a bliss. It is thin in consistency and rich in taste. The soup tasted quite flavourful with adequate amount of well cooked chicken and veggies. 👉 Penne makhni style with chicken : An Italian delicacy with Indian touch! Penne is beautiful cooked with tender chicken and has slight makhni flavour. One of the best dishes in the menu! 👉Dosa quesdilla with prawn ghee roast : A simple fusion dish yet quite flavourful. I have never tasted quesdilla with prawn before. Prawns are wonderfully cooked and rolled in Dosa with adequate amount of masala. This dish will simply hit your tastebuds with its pleasing flavour. 👉Chicken biryani : Presented in a quite fancy cooker. I was a bit disappointed with biryani in terms of aroma. The biryani tasted good with right amount of spices but it lacked aroma. It could have been incredibly delicious with a proper aroma. 👉Parle G Cheesecake : This is one of their signature desserts. I would say it's quite innovative and well presented. Cheese is stuffed between 2 Parle G biscuits and placed in milk maid cream garnished with pista and badam. The taste of cheese matched greatly with biscuit and was truly blissful. Staff here are quite responsive and quick in terms of service. They have a complete knowledge on what they are serving on the table. Though it's a star hotel, their menu is simple and pricing is absolutely pocket friendly. Definitely a value for money place. Do pay a visit to experience their delicacies.

The food quality is nice. The breakfast here is good. You get a option of English, South Indian, North Indian etc. The staffs are well behaved too. +1 to Subhodeep for hosting me during my stay in ibis.

Spice It Restaurant part of Ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road is a go to place for corporates in the area. With ambiance that is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing meal, the restaurant offers both buffet and A la Carte options to suit the masses. The A la Carte menu has been revamped very recently and I was here to experience the same on a Saturday afternoon. They have some good options on both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well. The Buffet had a good variety going along with some live counters which is required considering both expats and locals opt to dine in here. Panakam was our welcome drink which is a traditional South Indian drink blending flavors of Jaggery, Ginger, Lemon, Cardamom and Cloves ! Great Start ! Few picks from the Bar Bites to start off with – Podi Idli – Having spent the best part of my life in Tamil Nadu, I miss the Podi Idli’s from the state, this one took me back memory lane and was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Bhut Jolokia Chicken Wings – Bhut Jolokia as most of you must be knowing is the hottest Chilli Pepper in the world, and so I was ready with my glass of water when the wings arrived. But it turned out to be less spicy then it was intended to be. Got to know from the Chef that they had toned down the Chilli because not many patrons were able to handle the spice level which on the other hand I would have preferred, and so it comes down to personal choice. The Chicken Wings have a sauce dip which also has the Chilli in it, if you are able to handle more of it, dunk in the wings !! From the #WrapAndRollBaby section of the menu – Phulka Soft Tacos with Peri Peri Soya – This fusion definitely works. Each bite is loaded with flavors. Adding to the minced Soya, the stuffing also included kidney beans, veggies and cheese. Dip, Onions and Chip as sides makes it wholesome ! Dosa Quesadilla, Prawn Ghee Roast – Another fusion that I’ve become a fan of. Prawn Ghee Roast in a Dosa was a first for me and was lip smacking. Not just the dosa, but the dips were interesting as well – Bell Pepper, Date and Curry Leaf dips. While the Dosa itself was high on taste, with the dips it works wonderfully well ! I might go back for this again Meal in a Bowl section on the menu is all about interesting combos – Absolute Classic – Dal and Rajma Chawal are the options and it can’t get more classic than this. We had the Rajma Chawal with extra condiments to go with. Again presentation in a Tiffin Carrier was a nostalgic experience of opening the dabba for some good homely food ! And finally Desserts to end the meal on a high – Parle G Cheesecake – The Cheesecake was excellent ! Layered between 2 Parle G biscuits and add fusion in the form of Rabdi and gems made it very very good to eat. Presentation again was eye pleasing ! Portions good enough for a family of 3. Must eat ! Rasmalai Panna Cotta – This is highly recommended. It might look like a normal Panna Cotta, dig your spoon inside and find the Rasmalai ! Full marks for texture and flavor!

Great experience. The service was great and staffs were quick with taking food orders and serving it to our table. Sagar ( one of the staff) was helpful in assisting my mother with food menu and taking order.
Saakshi Verma
I really liked the food. Specially, the breakfast spread. There are a lot of options. Also, loved the ambience of the place and service. Would highly recommend it. Thanks Sagar for the exceptional service. :)

Spice it is back with a bang! They have changed the whole concept of their menu. It's fusion style food. Each dish has a twist to it. The dishes have two or more different cuisines put into one single dish. A lot of effort has been put into making the fusion menu. Some of the dishes are very extraordinary and good. My favourite picks: Dosa Quesadilla: this is probably the first time I've heard and tasted dosa Quesadilla. Trust me, you have to give this a try. It's really yummy and different. Manipal Style Egg Bun: this was my favourite. The fun was so soft and fluffy filled with scrambled egg and cheese in between. Too good. Podi Idli: not a fan of this.. But the podi used here was so good. It was very flavorful and delicious with a lot of curry leaves. Nasi Goreng: this was the perfect main course. Consisted of prawn crackers, fried rice with egg on top and chicken satay. The Satay was very yumm. Rasmalai Pannacota: very unique. Had rasmalai inside it. Hospitality: it was very good. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They made sure we had a really good dinning experience. Ambiance: 4/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Service: 4/5

This place is located opposite to rmz ecospace on outer ring road, i visited this place on sunday lunch with some of my friends. They have a buffet and apart from it some ala carte menu, we tried some ala carte dishes which i liked. Some of the dishes which we tried were vegetable thukpa, podi idli, dosa quesadilla, chur chur paratha with dal makhani was the best part of the meal. Also tried makhani pasta which was a pasta with an indian twist quite decent in taste. Coming to the deserts they have some interesting deserts apart from the buffet spread which was parle-g cheesecake and rasmalai panacota. If you would like to visit a place on a budget then this a decent place to go. Service could be some better.

I had ordered rajasthani thali, which only came after 30 mins. Many of the items mentioned in the menu were missing from the thali like - gatte curry, pachmela ki sabzi, papad, salad, achar, moong daal halwa. And whichever things present were mostly uncooked.Bajra roti, pakodi in kadi, baati etc bajra raab had no salt, rest of the items were not that good in taste. I asked for salad more than 10 times and got it only when i was about to finish the slow serviced chapatis. Chef showed up after number of complaints and promised to send proper thali elements , which he failed to get. I jokingly asked one of the waiters if the thali is worth the money I am paying for.He answered YES in a serious tone.. I ordered for bill which came after 10 mins of additional wait, that too with wrong inputs. They took more time to revise the bill . I dont know what was wrong there, but i feel sorry for the on ground staff who felt sorry for me and asked me to give them another chance .
Himanshu Mundhra
Really courteous staff (special mention to our server Sathish) and good food. Value for money place. If you are around, it’s a great place for a nice relaxed meal.

Akriti Kaushik
I have absolutely loved the experience that this places offers. The food is authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly , pays a lot of attention to the details. The place gets extremely busy at times, see how swiftly the staff works to ensure that people get the best service possible .
I would like to mention Abhinav , he demonstrates the qualities that hospitality industry requires today 😊
Sam
Had been to this place with my American colleague and food was average. Veg soup was spicy(when you have international guests, consider this). Very few options for the price of the buffet. All in all, avoid this place if you are a foodie!
Amit Rai
Amazing place for a personalized as well buffet dining. Had a great experience at spice it with family. staff is very polite and welcoming. Definitely recommend to everyone.
Aparna B.S
Lunch buffet here is not at all worth Rs 945+tax. Firstly, the waiter created confusion saying the starters would be served to the table but after waiting for a long time, they said we have to get it ourselves. Gobi starter was not hot. Starters were disappointing. Not much varieties in main course. Desserts were good. Calm and spacious place.
Dumitru Cocoru
I had a very good experience with Abhinav and his team - they are all very hospitable, friendly, professional.
The spaces are large and clean and the area is not very noisy.
Also, the food is good. When I come to India, I will try to stay here.
Dumitru
Sonia Kakodkar
The location is excellent for office team lunches. It's not usually crowded so you needn't reserve in advance.
The restaurant has a la carte as well as a buffet spread.
The staff is very pleasant and courteous and helpful. Christopher was our server and he was very attentive to our needs.
The food however, is very blah. Nothing great to write about. The paneer starter was very dry.
I wish they come up with a decent menu and sampling rather than the usual fare that every restaurant serves up.
Swapratim Gochhi
It was a very good experience .All the employees are friendly.specially thanks to Christopher who tkr of all our needs.
Ashwini
Christopher helped with all food and was very polite abs humble . Very nice and friendly staff.. Excellent service
Today crisptipher treated very nicely at the breakfast table. I will remember the services forever in my life which was served by him only and will love to come again and again. I really wish christopher all the very best and want him to grow.

Well done christopher and god bless you :)

Regards
Priya singh

The rates given on Zomato are half of the actual rates seen. For example for Smirnoff is shown as 99 in Zomato and in the restaurant it is 199.

Add A Pinch Of Spice To Your Life with newly revamped Spice It by IBIS 🤩 With new interiors, new menu and new logo-“ Love Food, Love Good Mood”, Spice It is here and ready to rule 💁🏻‍♀️

You can now find some amazing pocket-friendly fusion food where the international dishes are tweaked with Indian spices and tadkas. Sometimes fusion becomes confusion but chefs at Spice It know their work and they have nailed very bit of it.

Being a 4-star Property the prices for 2 would be around 1200 bucks approx (with alcohol) which I feel is a very very great deal.

💁🏻‍♀️TummyTumms Recommends

• Podi Idli: It came and ruled my tongue with flavours so good that I can’t forget. I can literally go back again and again just to have this.
•.Chicken Ghee Roast Quesadilla: Unique and Absolute Delish 😋
• Pasta Makhani
• Bullet Chilli Chicken
• Parle G Cheesecake: This was delectable. I could have never thought of such a combination. The crunch of Parle-G and creaminess of Cheescake blended just beautifully together. Definitely worth a try!

Do try their Super meals which is a meal in itself. Served in super quirky tiffin boxed consisting of Dal fry (or rajma or choley etc etc), with Steamed rice and condiments like Papad,Raita,Aachar, Lemon, Chilli and more.

📝TummyTumms Scoreboard:

• Taste: 4/5
• Ambience: 3.5/5
• Service: 5/5
• Value For Money: 4/5

I would like to specially mention Gautam for his hospitality extended at the restaurant. He ensured to get food prepared as per my requirements especially on my fasting day and other ingredients that I avoid. Great attitude and always smiling 😊

[FOOD] : a very good combination of the asian as well as the european cuisines . Indian offcourse . The starters are not too many ( could be couple of items more added ) yet the entire course of meal is very fulfilling . The best pick would be the chilli fish and the mangalorean fish curry .
[SERVICE ] : The best part of this place has to be it service . The staffs are very courteous and polite .
[VALUE FOR MONEY] : Though i would be a bit more happy if a couple of starters would add more but elsewise a place worth every penny and highly recommendable . Would love to come back here !

Global cuisine with local flavors is the mantra at Spice IT - IBIS, located at marathahalli outer ring road, Bangalore. The new menu is all about fusion and modern cuisine specially curated for young business travellers.

I was here on a sunday afternoon to taste the new menu. The ambience is calm everyone were in a relaxed pace, many were dining in small groups with colleagues, friends and family, good crowd.

The new menu features drinks to bar bites and mains. the entire concept is to feature local produce with a twist to young professionals who travel for work, some are first time travellers to india and are not familiar with the cuisine and culture here, they will get a chance to indulge in the cuisine and also for people who would love to try fusion food can try the drinks and dishes at affordable price point.

I got to taste the podi idli with two chutneys, Prawn dosa quesadilla with three chutneys, makhani chicken pasta, goan nasi goreng, parle-G Cheese cake and One Beer Tail - beer cocktail and Spice it Swag - litchi mocktail.

My overall experience was great I enjoyed the service and food. I really enjoyed the prawn quesadilla with curry leaf chutney and makhani pasta. All dishes were moderately spiced please make sure to spike the spice up as per your taste preference. A lovely selection of drinks to pair with your food. Enjoyed the tasting and recommend a visit to Spice It if your in the vicinity.

We had a lunch buffet over there. The taste of food was nothing appreciating and there weren't many options for vegetarians. Will not recommend the buffet there.

We had dinner at the restaurant and were served by Vikash and his team. The staff is very generous and took very good care of us during entire dinner. The food was delicious and rasmalai is a must try. A highly recommended place for food and hospitality.

I live in CBD and very rarely venture across the city due to a hectic schedule. Last week I had a client meet and decided to meet up at Spice It, at IBIS part of the Accor hotel. It was a real delight on a Monday afternoon to soak in some fresh ambience and some easy and quick bites.

Three dishes that should out for me and a must try for any one staying or headed there.
1. Podi Idli - A classic sound indian dish and not heard anyone complain about this dish. Can be had anytime of the day. I actually loved it had a entire plate to myself. Well marinated in locally ground spices served with some yogurt relish and tomato chutney did the trick for me. A highly recommended dish from my side.

2. Tawa Fish Fry - King fish, not over one, just mild spices and doesn't overpower the taste of the fish. I relished this one completely. Once again a healthy serving can be shared by two if you wish to enjoy the mains.

3. Mutton cutlet - Crispy on the outside, served with apple salad infused with mustard. You wont be disappointed.

3. Kerala Beef Fry - For the love of beef, traditional dish and the meat is succulent and doesn't disappoint. Goes well if you are having spirits along with it.

4. Dosa Quesadillas stuffed with Prawn (you can pick your choice of meat) - Prawn ghee roast added a bit of spiciness, a twist to a masala dosa if you will. Served with yogurt, red chutney as relish on the side.

5. Cocktail of the day - Named after the area pincode, 560103 - has chilli, lemon grass to add the freshness, vodka, lime juice. A nice afternoon refresher.

Spice it is located in the Ibis hotel at Outer Ring Road. The place is done in a fine dine setup with separate section for Buffet.

I started with Podi Idly and Veg Momos. Podi idli was a really good starter. Momos were fine. Phulka Soft Tacos were really amazing and flavourful, the goodness of taco fillings without the crunch in a soft phulka. They also have Rajma Chawal with varied condiments which all is encased in a tiffin for a new meal in a box menu. Rajma Chawal was good too. The Manipal Style Egg Bun was one of my favorites here which was basically scrambled egg in a brioche bun.

For drinks, I had Imli cocktail which was decent. Also, had the Pani Puri shots which were average.

For Desserts, I had Parle G Cheesecake and Rasmalai Pannacota. The Cheesecake was the best thing here and am sure anyone won't satiate in one serving, you are going to order more. The Pannacota was average as it can use a more evident flavor of Rasmalai.

The service is good and the price of dishes is pretty economical.

All in all, a good try especially if you are staying here at Ibis.

Visited the restaurant with a colleague for lunch meeting. It was my first time here, loved the huge space, and beautiful usage of sealing lights. Very asthetically designed, and gives a relaxing vibe. Loved the little corners with racks for books. They have a huge collection of cook books and travel food books which I'm looking forward to read next te I visit them.

Coming to the food, they serve a contemporary Indian food. The modern take to the Indian cuisine, and kudos to the chef who played very nicely with few dishes.
They have surely put a lot of thought and effort into the menu. Fusion food is mainly what they have focused on. The ambience is really good, they have some captions which are catchy. Then there is an retro bicycle that is kept. Everything surely adds on to a good environment which will make your outing worth remembering.

We had:

#Food

Dosa quesadilla - Really good fusion of Indian and Mexican.

Manipal style egg bun - one of my favorites of the evening.

Nasi goreng - The prawn crackers and chicken satay were amazing.

Gun powder idly - Amazing flavour.

Veg and non veg pizza - They have only one option in each. But they were pretty good. So no complaints.

#Drinks

Desi cold coffee shake

Chocolate chip shake

Vodka with Pani Puri

Spice It Restaurant part of Ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road is a go to place for corporates in the area. With ambiance that is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing meal, the restaurant offers both buffet and A la Carte options to suit the masses. The A la Carte menu has been revamped very recently and I was here to experience the same on a Saturday afternoon. They have some good options on both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well. The Buffet had a good variety going along with some live counters which is required considering both expats and locals opt to dine in here.

The fusion of Indian flavors with other cuisines is what u can notice in the menu here.
At first you might doubt on how it's going to end up however it's a very good place to visit and u can find various food experiments done to perfection in the menu.
For instance the makhni sauce being used in pizza it might sound a bit weird however that is worth giving a try.

Although I didn't like the biryani so much however the chicken thukpa was a stand out for me.

The interiors were perfectly planned according to the indianisation of food in the menu and doesn't hurt your pocket much where u have a 3 star hotel serving food around a multi cuisine restaurants prices.

A must try is the RAAGI SHAKE and the parle g cheese cake which gives u nostalgia.

I always like a place that has welcoming ambience. This well situated place is a good place to chill with friends and family.
Went here for lunch with friends and we tried out few dishes. What I liked was with an extensive buffet spread, they also had a decent alacarte options too. This is curated according to their customer favourite items (which I felt was really nice initiative). They also have lot of fusion cuisines and that's pretty innovative.
Few of my personal favourites from the menu were- podi idli, dosa quesadilla, nasi Goreng (though the quantity can be improved on a little bit) and chur chur parantha with the dal makhani and curd dips. Tried the chicken biryani and malabari fish curry from the buffet and liked them! In desserts parle-g cheesecake and rasmalai pana cota were good. The hot caramel pudding was my personal favourite.
Overall it's a good place. They also have cocktails and wine selection to choose from.
Ambience 4.5/5
Taste 4/5
Service 3/5
Value for money 4/5

Located in the Ibis hotel right opposite to the RMZ ecospace, Bellandur, Spice It is a new venture started by Ibis Hotels for an all-day dining to experience multi-cuisine fusion delicacies which are specially hand-picked by Chef Avijit Deb Sharma.

I visited this place on a Saturday for lunch with few of my friends to try out their a-la-carte menu. We started with some Tibetan thukpa with chicken and dosa chicken quesadilla which was just so delicious. Then we had the podi idli, chicken momos, penne makhani, chur chur paratha which were some unique fusion dishes here. We also tried their nasi goreng goan flavours which was good to its taste.

For the desserts, we had Parle G Cheesecake and rasmalai panna cotta which were aptly sweet and delicious in taste.

New Spice IBIS has really amazed me with the great hospitality and delicious food. It is located in the Outer Ring Road and quite easy to locate. This fine dine restaurant is beautifully designed and can comfortably accommodate around 80 guests. I went there yesterday with my family and had a great time.

Now comes the delicious part – Food!!
All the starters were just perfect to taste.
We had Chicken Corn Soup, Chicken, Tandoori Fish, Paneer, Aaloo Tikki and they all had great flavour and were amazing to the taste buds. All the dishes, especially chicken and paneer dishes were very tender and guess what, my son loved and finished them at a speed which I have never seen.

I had also Golgappa shot and Desi cold Coffee drink. I must say it was great and a must try.
I must say that the I loved all the fusion dishes and didn’t take a chance to try several Cocktails which were wonderful when it comes to presentation and taste.

Food is as good as it is served – I must mention that the staffs here are quite responsive and quick in terms of their service, with a smile. They have good knowledge on what they are serving on the table, and always had the time to explain the recipe. It is definitely a-value-for-money place, and would urge to pay a visit to experience their delicacies.

This beautiful place has a twist in every single dish.. Fusion cuisine .. Was definitely surprised with the twist in the dishes. With a beautiful gorgeous interior with desi twist which attracts more youngsters and young crowd ..

Tried Tibetan chicken thukpa which was mouth watering and wound not mind going there just for that. Here comes the best penne pasta with cheese and twist in it. Dosa quesadillas was the show stopper. Penna cota was the last resort to the meal . Must & worth visiting please. Low on pockets and friendly staff to mention.

Take a look

👉Tibetian thupka with chicken :
This noodle soup is simply a bliss. It is thin in consistency and rich in taste. The soup tasted quite flavourful with adequate amount of well cooked chicken and veggies.

👉 Penne makhni style with chicken :
An Italian delicacy with Indian touch! Penne is beautiful cooked with tender chicken and has slight makhni flavour. One of the best dishes in the menu!

👉Dosa quesdilla with prawn ghee roast :
A simple fusion dish yet quite flavourful. I have never tasted quesdilla with prawn before. Prawns are wonderfully cooked and rolled in Dosa with adequate amount of masala. This dish will simply hit your tastebuds with its pleasing flavour.

👉Chicken biryani :
Presented in a quite fancy cooker. I was a bit disappointed with biryani in terms of aroma. The biryani tasted good with right amount of spices but it lacked aroma. It could have been incredibly delicious with a proper aroma.

👉Parle G Cheesecake :
This is one of their signature desserts.

Good mood is directly proportional to good food and these folks truly live up to their motto 'Love food , love good mood'. I was there for lunch today and floored by the ambiance , food and hospitality.

Ambiance - Simple yet elegant

Hospitality - The staff is very courteous and ensured a great culinary experience. Had the opportunity to interact with Executive Chef Avijit and Chef Sachin and kudos to them for recreating home style food and street food with a twist. A special shout out to Gautam as well for serving us with a smile and attending to us.

Food & Drinks - They recently revamped the menu and have introduced some interesting items while keeping the prices quite affordable considering the clientele.

Tried the following:

Drinks:

1. Lassi - This was soothing. Ordered a sweet and salty version and it was so thick
2. Chocolate Chip Milk Shake - You can see the froth and the choco chip on the top and it was sweet and tasty.

Food:

1. Paneer Tikka - Soft and flavourful

2. Gobi Manchurian - Perfectly cooked with the right kind of spices ; it was a perfect starter

3. Podi Idli - This just melted in my mouth. I am usually not a fan of Idli because I find it bland but after taking a bite of this coin sized podi idli, I found myself gorging on it.

4. Dosa Quesadilla with Paneer - This one is a must have as it offers a twist to the concept of Masala Dosa with a filling of paneer chettinad. They present it like a quesadilla and the filling was delectable.

5. Phulka Soft Tacos with Peri Peri Soya - This is another must have . I loved the phulkas (made a little crispy) stuffed with kidney beans, soya , cheese and veggies. It was spicy and scrumptious.

6. Rajma Chawal - Just the thought of this is making me drool. It was actually drool worthy. Part of the dabba menu, love the way it is served in a tiffin carrier. Please see my pics to see what I mean. Coming to the taste, it reminded me of my Delhi days. Typical north indian flavour. This is served with long grain and fragrant basmati rice. Don't miss trying this

7. Choley - It was again a typical home style dark colored Choley , tangy and spicy. Perfect to eat with rice or kulche.

Now coming to the sweet part of the meal. Tried the following:

1. Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream - This just melts in your mouth. Love the way chocolate flows out of the cake and totally a delight. MUST HAVE !!!

2. Parle G Cheesecake - A unique twist to the good old Parle G biscuit. It was again a great tasting dessert

3. Raspberry Tart - Loved the flavour

4. Chocolate cheesecake - It was again a classic and it has the right mix of dark chocolate too.

Overall verdict - Experience great food and a fine dining experience at a reasonable and affordable price.

I've dined in at Spice-it a couple of times and it used to be a go-to for Buffet. Be it Breakfast or Lunch, they have a pretty good spread.

Recently, Spice-it was renovated and the menu was revamped, it has some amazing fusion dishes - one of which was the Penne Makhani. Loved it. Another good one was the Podi Idli and I loved how there were local offerings in addition to global.

On the table, you'd find some munchies like Mathri and Bhelpuri.
There was a desi drinks counter, which served Desi Cold Coffee, Lemonade or Jelly Cocktails - whatever suits ones liking.
Jelly Cocktails were new to me.

My absolute favorite was the Parle G cheesecake, it just couldn't get any desier.
My overall experience was decent, and I'd come back again.

Not much options in Buffet, also we saw very slow service in getting the bread, refilling of buffet menus were taking long. Not sure if this is how its been recently. I see degradation of quality and service compared to my previous visits in Ibis, ORR.

This was my second stay in Ibis.
I had the breakfast buffet of this restaurant and I must say it is an amazing buffet menu that they provide.
Egg bonda is a must have and so is hakka noodles.
The buffet spread consists of food from North and South and all the delicacies are awesome and a must try.
A special mention to chef Sachin for his warm welcome and ensuring the stay and the food is perfect for the guests.

Would love to visit again.

I've had the food at this restaurant around 30 times as I have stayed at Ibis quite a lot and hardly has the buffet ever disappointed me. The chefs and staff is very courteous. I especially love their chocolate fudge with vanilla ice cream. They should keep it more often and not just once in 15 days (haha). The cheesy lasagne is another favourite of mine here. The ambience is also very good here.
Abhishek Tripathi
The place is located conveniently and has good ambience...but lot can be done better to improve the food and variety of the buffet on offer. We were not impressed with most of the main course items though desserts were much better.
Pood-Forn
Buffet at Ibis has a good spread & decent flavors, but not everything is great!
A-la-Carte menu is trimmed though reasonable options that can compliment with drinks.

My order today was Keema Pao, Kerela Beef Fry & Bullet Chicken with a bucket of beers. Everything selected was delicious.
Nice ambience, comfortable seating, good service with delicious food... Life is good 👍

Place is very calm and is multipurpose, you can hangout with friends and for business meets too. Must try their Chengannur Kerela Coffee if haven't tried yet

I must say it was a great ambience. We went to celebrate our anniversary. Courteous staffs. Starters and Main course options were limited. All food items were not great in the taste therefore choose your food wisely. one extra star to Kanti for decoration and complementary Drink. Deserve at least a visit.

This was our business trip to this place...place was good but food quality was not as per my taste. Management was Good... Based on food quality I will rate 2...

The food here is very authentic and there is not much variety in menu but a lot in buffet that ranges from European dishes to Indian dishes and many other variety and the price is not very high in comparison to the kind of food and ambience.
Ahnik
I and my team had a lunch for days here while in training, amazing place, excellent spread, courtious staff - good service, and offcourse food is delicious, try all the fish items here. You gonna love it.
Aishwaryapingley
The ambience is wonderful. We opted for the buffet, and were slightly disappointed by the menu. It had many food items, but it lacked variety, especially in the main course. The desert counter was decent - apple crumble is highly recommended! Overall the taste was good.
