Though the name suggest as sweet shop but it also sells snacks, namkeens and chaats. Tasty food items. Do try out their famous poha and sabudana khichdi.

If you’ve been around Koramangala there’s noway you could have missed the Bikaner Poha!<br/><br/>Over the years I’ve consumed serveral poha’s and it’s definitely the bestest I’ve had. It’s small sweet shop near 1st block, morning are definitely for poha’s.<br/><br/>I’ve tried couple of other things and it’s fairly decent. It’s very economical.<br/><br/>So here’s how the famous poha is vibed up, they add freshly cut coriander, finely chopped onions, mixture, some masala powder and tadaah, they serve it hot with a piece of lemon. It’s just 30bucks and super yum!<br/><br/>I’ve tried their Pararthas which are decent, some sweets too, wasnt so impressed.<br/><br/>Their Kachori’s are alright too.

This was the first place in Bangalore where I had tried Indori Poha and it does live up to its name!<br/>The place gets crowded on weekends but the service is quite fast.<br/>Another time I had tried chola batura but it was quite disappointing. Dhokla was a little too sour.<br/>They need to look into the hygiene aspect as well.<br/>Overall, a decent place for quick bites

Nestled among the numerous restaurants that plague any high street in Koramangala lies this jewel, Bikaner Sweet Centre! Simple, delicious, not very oily and great value for money food & sweets! The top 5 things do have 1. Poha for breakfast, the best Poha in Bangalore by a long margin! 2. Mixed paratha, size of a frizbee served with the most mouth watering green chutney & Dahi 3. Poori Sabji, 4 non oily poories with Kasuri mehti infused Sabji & tangy pickle 4. Gajar ka Halwa.... Can't be written about, can only be tasted and experienced 5. Everything else that they make....!! I regret staying at the other end of Bangalore but whenever I do go to Koramangla, you know where I'll be eating at!
Go Veggie!
Kachoris, Dhokla and Poha among other snacks are my personal favourites. They do have lot of varieties of Rajasthani namkeens. <br/>If you are Koramangala do visit this place. It won’t let you down.

Went to this place with my friends for having poha and I must say that I missed this poha in banagalore. Since then I am going to this place very frequently and tried their subatdana plate, dal kachori, pyaz kachori, samosa, dabeli and many sweets. Everything is superb. I recommend this place for everyone to visit at least once.

One of the best poha tried in bangalore. Jalebi with proper blend of sweetness and crispiness. Only thing lacking was tea, they dont serve tea. Weekends are little croweded but service is quite fast. Must try! 👌

The place is small but they serve lip smacking parathas. They give delicious poha and sabudana khichdi in the morning. They also have good variety of sweets and Rajasthani snacks.

Their poha is really amazing, the best I had till date.it is a Small place, they have enough room for standing though.even dhokla is tasty :D and the jilebi is soooo sweetilicious!!! 😍

Good Place to have poha with friends especially on Saturday mornings 🌞. Along with poha mango lassi 🥤 and Jilebi are quite good. Dokhla can be tried 😊..

There was a time we use to visit them every Sunday morning for Poha and Jalebi. With time their quality and quantity has degraded a lot. Also, we recently purchased khakhra - tasted as if it was fried in bad oil and Roasted chana - Almost all the chanas had insect holes.

Attacked this humble place with a gang of starving foodies and the end result was we ended up trying almost everything.<br/><br/>The Kachori was so good that I almost had a flavourful blast in my mouth! The meetha was so tasty and the taste was long lasting with an awesome and tangy after taste.<br/><br/>The sabudana kichadi was something that I tried for the first time and I instantly liked it. Though it was a little on the spicier side, I enjoyed it.<br/><br/>The hot badam milk was such a great drink to go with these amazing snacks. For once we should try badam milk instead of our regular coffee and tea.<br/><br/><br/>The masala Puri here had channa instead of our regular peas and it is supposed to be the North Indian style of preparation and it was good but couldn't satisfy a typical South Indian!<br/><br/>Thee bhelpuri was spicy and tangy with an tingling after taste which is very rare and the masala was full of amazing spices changing the taste of bhelpuri.<br/>

I eat poha and Jelabi most weekends here. Really yum! Get to catch up with friends on saturday morning. They should accept Paytm/card/ Sudexo. Would make it bit more convinient!

Been two years and couldn’t find good poha but Finally !! They are really famous for their poha. It was great. They have samosa, jalebi, khakra, bhakarwadi, petha and hell lot of namkeen items. Don’t have dhokla without their awesome chatnis. Buttermilk (masala Chaas) was awesome. I personally loved it. Lassi is too thick n sweet. Recommended for sweet tooth peeps. I would say perfect place to have breakfast. 8.30-11 AM is the best time to visit.

We ordered poha, dhokla and jalebi. Poha was good, dhokla was a little sour and jalebi was very sweet. We wanted to order parathas but they were not available before 12.<br/>Overall an ok place for breakfast if you don't find anywhere else.

The doklas were freaking insane.<br/>Hats off to this outlet the best I have ever ever had.<br/>The chat and stuff is decent.<br/>The moong Dal halwa is good.<br/>The carrot halwa ain't the greatest<br/><br/><br/>Value for money super fine outlet

Be it different varieties of stuffed pakoras, or Gulab Jamun, or samosa, or Pani puri, or jalebi you cannot rate them anything less then 5*, but 4.5* just because of the unhygienic serving staff. The prices are very very reasonable. A must visit atleast once every week if you reside nearby.

#SelfPaid<br/><br/>Its my 5th visit to the place and the taste of everything was just wow. One of the very underrated place in Koramangala. If you compare the same dishes in other places they will charge you like bomb. We usually go in bunch eat up to our nose and maximum bill will be 200+. Don't think that they are charging less that's why giving something not good. My favourites <br/><br/>Sabu Dana Khichdi, Aloo tikki chat and Kachori.<br/><br/>Freshly prepared and hygienic place. <br/><br/>Bon Appetit Chef BB

Bikaner is a gem on the streets of Koramangala 1st block. It is also a paradise for Indori’s. They can get their favourite breakfast of poha and jalebi here. Bikaner offers you a wide variety of snacks and sweets at super pocket friendly prices. So you don’t need to wait for a salary day to go here and grab the delicacies of Bikaner.<br/><br/>Order: <br/>Poha: Bikaner serves delicious poha in the morning only and they run short of it very soon due to high demand.<br/><br/>Sabudana khichdi: In case you miss an opporunity to get poha here, mesmerized your taste buds with khati meethi sabudana Khichdi. <br/><br/>Jalebi Rabdi: What to say about this heavenly delicious combination of jalebi and rabdi❤️. This is a must item to try at bikaner.<br/><br/>Mix paratha: If you are in a mood of heavy breakfast, then go for paratha collection. Value for money: 5⭐<br/>Best north indian style Poha with namkeen, pyaaz and dhaniya coupled with hot jalebi. Unparalleled breakfast. A small tea shop is just behind this place.<br/><br/>Good: Poha, jalebi, kachori, rabri<br/>Ok:<br/>Avoid: -<br/><br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/><br/>No. of visits: 1

We have dropped by this place quite often, for our fix of North-Indian style pani poori and typical Rajasthani khaman. We have never been disappointed.<br/><br/>Proper North-Indian golgappa with mint-infused water and black chana-potato stuffing isn't easy to come by in Bangalore. So is the case with well-made khaman. The golgappa here is just perfect for our taste buds, the khaman beautifully juicy and a great balance of sweet and sour flavours.<br/><br/>Prices are quite reasonable here, and the food you order handed to you quickly.<br/><br/>I have heard good things about the poha that is served here for breakfast, but have never had an opportunity to try it out. I must get around to doing that soon, and also try out the various interesting sweets, snacks and pickles they have lined up on their counter.<br/><br/>The place is small, with no seating available. It is a sweet shop, after all, snacks and chaats being a side business for them. It's a neat place, though I'm not very sure about hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Bikaner sweets center - Koramangala.<br/><br/>This place was suggested by one of my friend. He specifically told me the sabudana khichdi in the evening and poha in the morning. I couldn't stop myself and visited here the same week.<br/><br/>It's a sweet shop located with sweets and namkeen stacked up. There is a small chat center at the entrance. We ordered sabudana khichdi and Pani Puri. I really loved the taste of these chats. The sweetness and sourness are in perfect proportion. I was inspired to try out sabudana khichdi at home.<br/><br/>Completely value for money. It's very pocket friendly and light on pocket. I would like to visit here again and again in future.<br/><br/>

Ah, what a place! A must visit if you are missing marvadi essence in your south indian life! <br/>Poha, Kachori, Besan Ki chakki ! One of my favourite destination for sunday breakfast!!
Abhishek Kumar
Horrible place and food. Went there and ordered few sweets and paraths. Sweets were stale and parathas were very bad. Will never go to this place again
Ankit Panse
If you feel home sick one day because you miss your mom's food, come here and have sabudana khichdi or poha or dhoka. The taste is well above anything North Indian you get in Bangalore. It's super cheap as well so makes it ideal for sunday/Saturday nights dinner as well.
Sanmay Goyal
If you are an Indori this is paradise for you. The place serves authenticate poha-jalebi and palatable Kachori. Try to go early on weekends as poha gets finished by 11.30 sometimes.
Abhay Kumar Somani
Went early morning and the place was crowded just to have Poha -jalebi. Must try for all... North indians will love the poha here. Will definitely ask others to try.
The Bangalore Food Harem
Entering into  Bikaner sweet centre, it does feel like it has got all the potential of being a good gujarati/ marwari-snack joint. We tried the sweet kachori, poha-jalebi, dhokla, samosas, kachori and the rasmalai. However it was bit of a disappointment. Although, the dhokla was soft, fresh and perfectly spiced and the poha-jalebi was just okay, nothing else seemed to stand out. We would rather just walk to Kota Kachori, which is just a few minutes away from Bikaner sweet centre when we're looking for really good gujarati and marwari snacks in Koramangala.
Amey
Went to this place for the sunday breakfast. The place was hustling and bustling with people. There is no place to sit, which is a deterrent. Hence, it is preferable to get the food packed.<br/>The poha that we get here is similar to the indori poha. Tinge of sweetness along with the tangy taste of lemon ➕ chatpata taste of the Farzan on top.<br/>Definitely the best that one can get in Bangalore.
Saurabh Soni
Often on weekends, along with my friends, we visit this place for breakfast. The flavour is authentic marwari. The owner is also from Rajasthan. It's pretty affordable too.
Varsha Krishnan
Poha lover? This place gives the best authentic Poha at pocket friendly prices. The services are quick and the taste is brilliant. Although it gets a tad bit crowded on the weekends, the wait is worth the tayse thought. The dhokla is fab!
Pranay Shah
One of the most amazing place for Poha! <br/>Located at the 1st block near Wipro signal, this small food joint serves most amazing POHA in bangalore.

Bikaner Sweet Centre is your neighbourhood sweet shop stop. Their Gulab Jamuns are delectable! So soft, so warm, come melt in my mouth and let us join in gastronomical holy union. <br/>Their chats are decent too. I especially like their tamarind sauces - sweet with just the right about of punk. <br/>They have another counter where you can order parathas and puris. They were alright. I've gotten some tummy upsets, maybe the oil was reused too often. The parathas are good. Not the best ones, but it's a good meal. <br/>I love their sweets though. Not overbearingly sugary or creamy, it's just right. Think I should make a stop there this evening, I can feel the cravings building up.
Tanish Gupta
I generally visit this place on weekends for breakfast. Although all the items are really worth to try.But you can first try poha and dahi-jalebi if you are visiting it first time. Also there service is really fast and try to make it less crowded so that they can serve other upcoming customers.
Shilpi Singh
Unhygienic, sweets are stale. Poha is their key attraction but we stopped going there after we found a cockroach in poha one morning. If these guys take care of hygiene, probably the best poha in Bangalore

Ratings out of 10-<br/><br/>1.Cost-9.5/10<br/>2.Ambience-6.5/10<br/>3.Service-9/10<br/>4.Food-9/10<br/>5.Overall-8.5/10<br/><br/>Food:<br/>This tiny joint bring a big smile on the faces of their customers as they serve delectable, delicious, sumptuous and satisfactory dishes at all times. I must say, they are pretty consistent at doing what they do best and have been serving customers for a very long time. More than the Sweets, I would say the savoury varieties are more popular here. The food is 100% worth your money (it's pretty cheap for the quality and quantity of food being provided). <br/><br/>We had:<br/>*Poha- this is one of their alpha-best dishes on the menu! Very tasty poha, much like home, but even more yummier! Has a dash of lemon that gives it the zesiness and tangy feel along with a hint of sweetness in it that provides the dish a perfect balance of all flavours. It is finally topped with delicious farsan that makes any dish taste wonderful! <br/>All in all, a very nice dish. <br/>My Verdict: Recommended!<br/><br/>*Badam Milk with Malai- this is just superb! The milk is prepared in a huge vessel that is provided along with constant heat. It eventually forms a thick layer of malai that tastes just heavenly! It is served along with the hot milk too. In totality, the Badam Milk with Malai is great. <br/>My Verdict: Recommended!<br/><br/>Thumbs Ups:<br/>*Location<br/>*Food<br/>*Cost<br/><br/>Thumbs Downs:<br/>*Ambiance<br/><br/>Would I come back for more?<br/>--- Yes!<br/>Will surely try out their Jalebi along with Poha for breakfast next time! <br/><br/>Overall, my experience in Bikaner Sweet Centre has been splendid! <br/>

Poha has made this shop today what it is ...  Morning Poha and Jalebi is bliss.. Sweets and Snacks are really tasty ...  Not much waiting time even when crowd is there..

An amazing place to have poha and jalebi. Too fast in serving and generous in quantity. They offers a wide range of North Indian sweets as well.
Abhishek Kumar Jha
Food - Excellent<br/><br/>Ambience - Not Applicable<br/><br/>Price - Reasonable<br/>Service - Good<br/><br/>What to do? - Weekend Breakfast - Rush here. Poha and Jalebi combo will make your day. Reach in time - before 10. Breakfast is meant for mornings. :)
Jeevanayagi Ganapathy
This was recommended by a friend for its poha and jalebi. And it absolutely does live up to the hype. O was there by 8.30 AM in the morning on a Saturday and the place was already busy. Surprisingly that is the only breakfast item they serve apart from their regular sweets. The jalebi was fine, nothing to complain and nothing to talk about either. But the poha with toppings of onions, farsan (sev), coriander leaves and a dash of lemon is one of the best I have ever had. The serving is sufficient for one person and the price reasonable. However the poha ia good that you will be tempted to go for another plate. This place is for a quick bite, so if you prefer a seating arrangement you might be disappointed. They provide take away too. I had only one complaint. I wanted tea with my poha, but they don't serve tea. I had to take tea later from the adjacent lane. Yet it is a must try even if there is no tea. Abhishek Kumar Jha

I love Bangalore because of the beautiful memories it brings to me. Be it Kota kachori or this eatery it's awesome and very nostalgic. The love for poha and delicious Rajasthani actually Kota delicacies is quenched here. Though overpriced but I can't stop myself from the poha they serve every morning. Have tried many things here from kachori to samosa to chola bhatura, everything is incredibly tasty. Must visit for kotaites and those who ever lived there. I love my office for being so close to nostalgia.

The best place to have sweetmeats..... The sweets are really very delicious..... The carrot halwa is the standout available during the winters.... But otherwise I gorge on the kachoris here..... It's crowded during the evenings .... It's easy on the pocket as well...... Fresh items available every single time..... One of my favorites.
Priyank Bhardwaj
Got to know about this place through Foursquare app, so I went there next morning with my friend and we had Poha with Jalebi, Dhokla and Kaju Katli.<br/><br/>Reviewers on Zomato and Foursquare app compare the poha here with that of Kota/Indore, I can confidently say the raw poha + masala are nothing like that, Dhokla are typical, jalebi is decent. Also being a traditional sweets shop the items here are twice the cost of a typical thelewala, a plate of Poha @ 25 rupees Jalebi @20 and Dhokla @24.<br/><br/>Hygiene point of view I won't recommend this place as I saw the area where they wash dishes on the floor, its clumsy and Shaby.
Alok Soni
Bikaner sweets has established itself as a go to place in Bengaluru for Poha. It's indeed as close as it can get to Kota Poha(and to an extent Indori Poha as well). And earlier you reach better it is (not crowded, serving is hot). Jalebi is below par. Samosa, Kachori have the Rajasthani flavour(and spices) in them.
Bharani Ghantasala
Super place for morning brakefast, I had poha here, it tasted so good it was first time I tasted such different poha, may be its common for North Indians, but for me it was completely different. <br/><br/>If you are bored of cooking and want to have a quick bite for brakefast, you can choose this place to try some different food items. <br/><br/>Note: I have not tried all the brakefast items here ;-)
Pramod
I had a quick snack at Bikaner sweet center. The samosas were crispy and very delicious. The guy at the counter crushed the samosas and added various chutneys, etc to make it into a chat dish.
Manish
Best items samosa, hot badam milk, gulab jamoon and kachori.<br/>Ordered jalebi got ant free. Cleanliness needs to be maintained which it lacks.
Romil Goel
A delight for.people looking for authentic North Indian snacks (poha, Jalebi and sabudana khichdi are just fantastic, cudn't find anything better in Bangalore).
Anshul Bansal
Small place near Maharajah signal. <br/>There poha and Samosa are must try. They also give good condiments if you are a condiment lover. <br/>They serve good Rajasthani snacks.
Saai
Ah! Dhokla!!! So soft, fresh and juicy. My friend and I had almost 4 of them in a row.<br/> Katchori and samosa were not expectional in taste and had a thick 'shell', but they had no visible oil. <br/>To end the chat-binge, we had rasamalai. Four in a cup! You can just gobble it up. <br/><br/>Everything together was within 100 bucks and we asked the counter guy to even recount. Totally worth the money!
Richa Kejriwal
Been here a couple of time for breakfast and trust me they do justice to the Indori poha. Located opposite to bhukhad, you can easily recognize the place by the crowd it hosts in the morning. There is no seating space as such, but you can always get it packed.<br/>I simply love the poha and jalebi combination. Also their kachoris and samosas are yummy. I really want to try the sabudana khichri they offer.
Jay Rambhia
If you live in or around Koramangala, I'm sure you must have been here at least once. There's always a morning rush for their delicious Poha. I think the farsaan mix that they use is the secret ingredient. Who knows.<br/><br/>They do have some good sweets apart from Samosas and kachoris.<br/><br/>For lunch and dinner, you can grab the parathas there which are quite decent.
Snehangshu Banerjee
I had recently been here after locating it finally...it's diagonally opposite to flipkart office just below "koshe kosha" but I could never spot it until recently...it's a small shop with all traditional Rajasthan sweets and snacks...their poha is awesome...had been here in the evening...got some kachoris Samosa and sweets...kachori and Samosa is just awesome...it's the best that I have had ...both onion and daal kachori have the same price and are really tasty...Samosa is stuffed with aloo..best you can get for 15 bucks..a lot remains to be tried...you must try this place and am sure you will come out with a smile..
Sameer Koralli
Best poha i have had in Bengaluru. People who think poha cant be tasty, should give a try here. Parathas are so-so and so are the samosas, kachoris.
Amit Bikram
Been here a few times, especially for the delicious poha this place offers.<br/>Affordable and has some tasty delicacies to offer, especially the parathas and dhokla.<br/>Quite busy and crowded in the mornings.
Jayant Dalmia (PuchkaToPizza)
In the land of MTR, CTR and Brahmin, this place has its own fan-following. If you are going past the Wipro Park signal on a weekend morning and see a huge crowd outside an outlet, you'll know it is Bikaner Sweets.<br/><br/>The biggest seller is the Poha and then the Jalebi. Although, most regions in India have their own preparation for poha, it is the Indori poha which is most popular. This place strives to recreate that poha among other Indori favourites like jalebi, sabudana khichdi, etc.<br/><br/>The poha is ultra-light and soft. It is probably the only North-Indian breakfast which is not deep-fried or loaded with ghee/oil. It is just like the fluffy idlis of Brahmin cafe, and this is not an exaggeration. I also tried the sabudana khichdi (never had it even before) and it liked it too. Though it was a bit oily, but still a very a good option. <br/><br/>The place is thronged by 20-something software professionals (every 2nd guy is wearing a startup t-shirt) mostly from the North who miss the simple home-cooked poha. <br/><br/>The service is very fast and the poha is priced at 25 bucks and the sabudana khichdi at 30 bucks. A complete breakfast with a juice/shake from the shop next to it wont go over a hundred bucks. <br/><br/>#BangaloreAwesomeness

North Indian breakfast places are a few, and one serving good poha aren't many. Bikaner Sweet Centre does a fab at the Poha making, the early morning crowd around this place says it all. <br/><br/>Just like the Rajasthani outlets Poha is made on a large pan, like the pan on which bhaji (pav bhaji) is made. Poha and Jalebi are available only in the morning. The poha is made Rajasthani style - khatta and Meetha (right mix of sour and sweet), with generous topping of onion, coriander and bhujiya. It tastes best when eaten hot, or atleast warm. The outlet runs out of poha by 10am. A plate of hot poha would cost you less than 30<br/>rupees. The jalebi was served hot and crispy, with the aroma of ghee, the thandi Rabdi seemed a bit thin for my liking.<br/><br/>I'd count this as one of the best poha place in Bangalore, till date.
Pankhuri Dhingra (FoodTravelPedia)
Reached this place after seeing reviews on zomato. The best poha i had in bangalore till now, it was amazing. And also i tried dhokla which was must have. Ambience is not that great but the food is good.
Shweta
Poha was awesome over here.. we also tried dhokla and jalebi but not that great. <br/>I guess they don't make parantha in the morning now.. but poha is worth going here definitely.<br/>Ambience 3.5<br/>Food 3.5 (poha 4.5)<br/>Value for money 4

If you are poha lover, then no other place in Bangalore can match this place.<br/>The only thing I don't like about this place is, they don't serve poha before 8:30am :P<br/>

Bikaner sweet's a place where you get delicious, tasty, hygienic & easy to digest food. In Bikaner sweet, there is a many varieties of snacks. I'm sure when you will go there, you will be happy that you selected nice place for sweets & snacks 😋 👌

Editing: This was the first ever place I ate in Blore when i landed here :) It was awesome then. Now the poha quality degraded - reason given is Poha purchased is coming in sticky quality :(<br/>Their paratha are oakyish now and the Rasmalai and rasgulla - bad like watery Ras malai milk.<br/>Overall it was a good place but as they grew big JUST LIKE BLORE THEY BECAME TOO COMMERCIALISED TO MAKE ME HAPPY:)<br/><br/>Original Review:<br/> This place is value for money and taste.<br/>Recommended: Poha , it's served in morning only. It's one of the rare places you get poha in Bangalore. It's kind of Indore style poha.<br/>Dhokla, paratha s are 3.5/5<br/>Badam milk is good too 4/5<br/>Note: You must insist on serving hot poha else 95%+ times you 'll end up having cold one<br/>Do not have rasmalai it's disappointing.
Akash Wadhwani
The poha, poha and poha, the place has amazing poha and paranthas, place is good for it's super super super fast food and makes it good to have a samosa once a while.
Somi J
Known for its Bikaneri breakfast, its best to reach before 10am to have Poha and Jalebi which is available only during that time. Make your way through the crowd around this place waiting to savour their favourite breakfast and place your order through stacks of Dhoklas, Gulabjamuns, Kachoris and Samosas. One could also get a take away in nice boxes as parcels. I relished the poha here but I like it more when it is piping hot. Quick service, nice breakfast and choice of munchies and snacks to carry home. Do visit!
Anupama Dolekar Shivacharya
I visited the place because I lusted after the Rajasthan style poha and the place didn't disappoint. The poha from here had me all nostalgic about my stay in kota. The dish is slightly sweet with a garnish of mixture, chopped onions and a special masala. Yet to try the jalebis and the kachori from here.
Zeb Fatima
This place is really good for sweets and light breakfast..Poha and Jalebis are very famous..My office is situated nearby and whenever I am hungry I go there and have some good food. They have puri sabzi and different types of Parathas for lunch. Very pocket friendly..<br/><br/>Poha - Rs 25<br/>Dhokla - Rs 20/plate
Bhavana Jayanth
Must go to this place for fantastic poha. (It often runs out by 10.30 so make sure ur there early). Don't expect anything fancy: it's just street food but the taste is out of this world and it's extremely light on the pocket. <br/>Kachoris and parathas are decent as well.

Dhokla (khaman for indoris) is a must.<br/>Kachori with all the sauces tastes delicious.<br/><br/>A perfect place when you are tired of fine dining or missing street food.<br/>

Bikaner is one of the places in Rajasthan which has a lot of historical important. But then the place is also quite famous for the snacks especially the spicy mixtures and bhujias. Just like how we have darshinis in Bangalore, there are Bikaner Sweet shops that have come and made a mark for themselves. The places are quite popular for the spicy and tasty food that we get. And one such place is the outlet in Koramangala 1st block area. Let me share my thoughts on the food I had along with my friend during breakfast time-frame on a weekend.<br/><br/>Location <br/><br/>If you are coming from Agara Lake heading to Koramangala side, you will get a big signal where in the right leads to Sony World signal and the straight to St Johns Hospital / College. Take right and then there is another big signal where you need to take right and then take 1st left. The shop is right there.<br/><br/>It’s easy to miss so the best would be to ask someone if you do miss it.<br/><br/>Food<br/><br/>I did tell you about Bikaner and the food items that are famous. I did try a few items from this place.<br/><br/>Poha<br/><br/>This is a special poha that is available for breakfast. Just like the way people keep the masala of paav-bhaji, there is poha kept on huge tawa. The moment you ask for poha, they would pick up from the tawa, add the special mixture on top, few coriander pieces and may be some onion before handing to you. The moment it comes to your hands, you can make out that it looks quite yummy and for sure you start to assume that the taste will be brilliant. <br/><br/>Well, this is exactly how the poha was and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste of the Poha that you get here.<br/><br/>Jelabi<br/><br/>Another item which is taken many time in the north as part of the breakfast as well. In South it may not be a tradition but then there is no harm in taking 1-2 of lovely Jelabi that we get over here at Bikaner Sweets.<br/><br/>Samosa<br/><br/>Snack item which is best taken with some tea/coffee. Here the samosa does not seem to have the oil that we usually find. The pieces are so nice and the stuffing is also pretty good. Easily this is one of the best samosa that you can get to eat in this area.<br/><br/>Along with the green mint chutney and the sweet tomato based sauce, the overall taste is awesome. Just that it can easily fill your stomach unless you are watchful.<br/><br/>Kachori<br/><br/>This is a dish for sure is famous in Rajasthan and not many places you can get it to be really good. There are some Jodhpur – Sweet shops that I know you can get some good varieties. Apart from that this shop has one of the best Kachories.<br/><br/>Addition of the sauce – mint and tomato give the completeness for the kachori.<br/><br/>Dhokla<br/><br/>A snack item famous in Gujrat regions and made of besan, is surely one of the favourite for many of us. You will it hard at few places or very soft, here in Bikaneris Sweets its optimum. I loved the flavour of the besan and with the addition of chillies, curry leaves and sweet-tomato sauces, it becomes complete.<br/><br/>Overall Experience<br/><br/>It is good fun going to a place that is so popular among people and having some of the items like what I have mentioned above. I really liked also the cleanliness of the place and the promptness of service. This is one place you should visit for having breakfast in the morning, if not snacks anytime in the day. I rate this place at 4.0/5. The only concern here seems to be that there would be too much crowd and sometimes its hard to even take out the items ordered. And you will need to stand and eat the food. When you are eating something spicy and hot, it sometimes can get hard.<br/><br/>My rating in other departments.<br/><br/>Food – 4.0/5<br/><br/>Service -4.0/5<br/><br/>Ambiance – 4.0/5<br/><br/>Food for 2 will cost anywhere between INR 200-300 for a wholesome breakfast.

INFO: For people who don't know, this shop has been moved to the main road now. From its old location, go straight and take a right to the main road. <br/><br/>Order: Poha, Jalebi, and Dhokla<br/>Parcel: Bakarwadi and Petha<br/><br/>Loved everything except for the Dhokla which was little sour that day.

They do what they do and they are damn good at it!<br/><br/>Arguably the best Poha -jalebi in town. This is really a one shop wonder which whips out some of the best north Indian sweets and crispies. <br/><br/>Recommended : Poha-jalebi, kachori with aloo ki sabzi, dokhla and ras malai. <br/><br/><br/>Best time to visit : Early morning. <br/>

I've always loved Bikaner's jalebi rabdi (right from Bombay), so when they opened this store in Koramangala, I was among the 1st set of people to visit them on the same day. Obviously I ordered garma garam jalebi and thandi rabdi. Jalebi was good, the aroma was ghee was simply amazing! Though the rabdi was comparatively thinner as compared to what I've had in the past, but the jalebi-rabdi combo itself made my day. I also wanted to try out their parathas, but it was finished by then. I also tried the garma garam masala doodh...and it was nice too. <br/>They prepare most of the sweet items, desserts very frequently depending upon how its getting utilized throughout the day. I had a short visit then, will definitely visit soon to try other dishes.

The place is flocked by ppl for Breakfast like a Herd of Sheeps on a graving field.<br/><br/>Only difference is you cant enough of it even after one plate of POHA.<br/><br/>The way they make..more over the way they Decorate is fabulous along with the taste.<br/><br/>We did not see people ordering anything else but POHA was selling faster then the rain drops falling.<br/><br/>Overall:-<br/><br/>Food: 4 on 5 (Good to taste Good to see and Good to go)<br/><br/>Ambience: 2 on 5 (No Ambience but looking at the Crowd, you get energised  )<br/><br/>Service: 2 on 5 ( No Cue No Table...fight it out to get your plate )<br/><br/>Price: 3 on 5 (Worth the price)<br/><br/>Location: 3 on 5 (Ask best Poha place in Kormangala to anyone)

One of our friends told us about this North Indian Breakfast Place. We have visited on one of the weekends. The place was jam- packed and people are eager to get their orders. Well, these people serve simple dishes like Poha, Kachori, Samosa & Jalebi. The Poha is best I would say among all. Its a typical north Indian style, which is spicy & slightly sweet and garnished with chopped raw onions & mixture. Although I am a South Indian, still I loved this kind of Poha. The Kachori & Samosas are good though. However, I can't eat those for a Breakfast. The Prices are pocket friendly! No Seating in the Place, you just have to stand & eat. Don't even visit here, if you don't have patience to wait too long.

Never had a liking for poha until few days back when a colleague parcelled some to office. I just had a spoon of it and though cold by that time, tasted nice. <br/><br/>So finally visited this place with a friend for breakfast. Located near to Wipro signal, the place was crowded with regular flow of patrons. A small sweet shop without any seating arrangement and somewhat dull ambiance inside. People were standing outside the shop and having the in-house special poha. We ordered for it along with jalebi.<br/><br/>True to it's name, poha was of top class. Prepared nicely and topped with generous quantity of bhujia sev, raw onions, coriander leaves and lime juice, it was delight to our palette. There was prominence of roasted coriander seeds which also gave an unique aroma. Jalebi on the other side was just average in taste but was a nice combination along with poha.<br/><br/>Heard that poha gets over by 11 in morning so better plan to visit early. Didn't taste samosa and kachori but will surely go back to try out those.<br/>

Used to be my absolute favourite place for Sunday breakfasts. However, post renovation, the new shop serves cold poha, slow service and at higher prices. Not returning. Go here instead: Find this restaurant on Zomato | Jodhpur Sweets, Koramangala 5th Block http://zoma.to/r/60986 <br/>

Simple, no non sense food can win hearts is an axiom that this place demonstrates. <br/><br/>My friend told me about this place and mentioned about their jalebi poha here. We went there for brunch. It is a small food shop having lots of students going in and out. Not very sure about the hygiene of this place though. I never liked poha untill I had it at this place. It was soft, almost melting in your mouth. It didn't need much chewing and just slid down your throat. And it was very simple, no unnecesary masalas or anything. The jalebi was just the way it should be made. It was perfect. Their dahi kachori was a bit dissapointing though. There was not much of a good filling. <br/><br/>Overall, a lovely experience.

Since I'm a Mumbaikar, I kept missing the taste of piping hot Poha of Mumbai untill I found this place. And since then, this has been my favorite place to pick up breakfast while on my way to work. They serve Poha with a generous topping of farsan (bhujia sev) & raw onions. Earlier they used to charge 20 rs for a plate, now the rates have increased , the per plate cost is 25 bucks. They also serve chole bhature, vegetarian thali, pav bhaji, dhokla, etc.

This is the place to go for poha! Everyone has already said that and I follow the same! Weekend breakfast is here no matter what. I have tried their ras malai and it was just ok. Poha is something to not miss. Their new store is more clean and spaced out too!

Wow. Never thought that Poha could be made as nice and tasty as this place does it. I started having 'healthy' breakfast more often after discovering the Poha here. Other than the Poha, like any other North Indian sweet centre which have become very popular in Bangalore; they had great Samosas, Kachoris and Dhoklas which came in handy for party planning and end of the month cash crunch situations. The desserts were nothing special and they could improve majorly on this aspect. I have only tried Gulab Jamun and the Rossogulas. They also sell items like Thandaai, pickle and other quick-eats over-the-counter, which do come in handy.

A small store but absolutely brilliant.<br/>If you're low on cash and need to fill the stomach then this is the place to be.<br/>Favourite combination is 2 vada pavs and one badam milk, which will cost you not more than Rs. 50

I have visited this place god knows how many times and every time I loved the sweets, poha, parathas and snacks. For breakfast they mainly have poha, jalebi and dhokla. For lunch and dinner its parathas and for snacks they serve samosas, kachoris, bondas and other types of pakodas. If you are lucky, you might get saboo Dana khichdi also.

Bikaner sweets finally satisfied my craving for Indore like poha and some really good jalebis, samosas, kachoris, dhoklas etc. This place is heaven for anybody wanting to have quality street food in Bangalore. In keeping with the spirit of having street food, one actually has to stand and have the grub over here. But one bite of anything over here and you forget about sitting , standing, breathing etc. <br/><br/>Wish I had discovered this place two years back when I came to Bangalore. This is sure to become one my regular joints.
Aksshat Goel
Serves one of the best Poha, Jalebi, Samosa, Kachori and Dhokla. All the street food lovers must visit this place. I am not very fond of sweets. So, never tasted any sweet here.<br/><br/>This is a perfect destination for morning breakfast. <br/><br/>However, the POHA i not served after morning which is very disheartening. Pl start serving POHA and Jalebi in afternoon and evenings also.
Nate !
For all the MP - MADHYA PRADESHis, who have POHE & JALEBI in your Blood :D ;P this is your place. Though you won't find the pope exactly like what you get in Bhopal & Indore, but you learnt to sacrifice & compromise with North Indian food when you are in Bangalore. <br/>Always loved to have Pohe Jalebi from this place.
