Review Shree Thali - Bengaluru

Arjun Ankathil
Visited Shree Thali in Koramangala after many years in Dec 2022. It's an old thali place known for its unlimited thali. The price for a thali is now 100 which is quite reasonable. I had gone on a weekday for lunch but still it was quite crowded. They usually serve some fryums, a dry subzi, a wet subzi, dal, curd and kadi along with rice and roti. Other than the curd and fryums rest are unlimited. They also serve lassi , buttermilk which are charged extra. They also have dal bhati and parantha options. The day i visited, they were understaffed which lead to a long wait time for them to serve even the first set of thali. Other than slowness of service rest remains the same. The food is simple, homely food and is quite tasty

This is a good place for lunch and dinner. The price for thali is 100rs with unlimited food. Others think like paratha etc are also very pocket friendly.
nagendra A.R
Unlimited veg thali at Rs100, that too in a place like Koramangala is really amazing. I saw many students were enjoying their meals happily when I visited here and it was clearly evident that they were regular visitors here. So we should support these kind of places to grow more for the benefit of society. Good, homely, healthy food and full value back for your money.
soim khan
It a very common place. And you will get unlimited food at the price of 100 only. Taste is also good.
Sougata Sinha Roy
Neat and clean and good food you can have. Served hot. I took unlimited thali. The service can be bit prompt for the 2nd or 3rd halpings.. Overall good food at that price..
hemant c
Very good home made Rajasthani style food. It is an unlimited thali most of you will be satisfied with the taste and variety of the food here.

Good food at affordable prices. If you're away from home and missing ghar ka khana than stop being nostalgic just go to this place and enjoy the awesome food. They provide rajasthani foods. Whenever i feel like go out and eat something i go to this place. The only drawback is it's a little bit small and cozy. Otherwise one word for this place and that is awesome.

This Bhojanalay is best in class for Desi food lovers. It has also served paratha. It's specialty is Dal bhati churma. In 100 Rs you get unlimited thali.Superb. Koramangala people must have to visit for dinner.
Siddhartha Sarbapriya
If you want to have budget vegetarian lunch in Koramangala then this is the place. Their thali serves homely food and the best part is unlimited times servings. Aloo Paratha and paneer parathas are also mouth watering.
Prince Agarwall
Decent food with affordable price. Great place for people who is looking for home made food in budget price in place like Koramangala 5th block

Simple food what we normally find in homes. Unlimited thali is a good deal. Food is tasty and simple with no frills and so is the service. Place is neat and clean in a way.... No decor or ambience to talk about. Looks more like a mess as in the food joints popular with Indian students. Went back today after a long time (4-5 years i think). Nothing has changed. As I remember it, food quality was better earlier; options better. But then for Rs. 100 only, how much more can you expect when you are getting an unlimited thali with 2 curries, kadi, one gravy and curds to go with rice and/or roti. In my humble opinion, full value for money.
Divya Rathore
Loved this place! 😊 Food quality is very good and unlimited. Different variety if curry and roti rice you will get that too in one single thali along with the rice.
NAGABHUSHANA P
One of the Veg Best Thali places in Koramangala and apart from thali more options (different types of parathas) available as well. Personally I like their rotis. Feels like more like home food and decently priced. They don't accept cards as of now but BHIM and PAYTM options are available.
hariharan venkateswaran
Homely food. Freshly prepared. No frills. Served with Care and attention. Easy on the wallet. Rs 100 for an unlimited thali.
Food Swingz
Had gone there for having thali and daal bati with a group of friends. The thali is pretty good. They serve hot rotis and and the taste of all the elements is pretty good. In case of daal batti, the batti is made with Multigrain Atta which doesn't taste that well. Since you expect the bati to be the same as it's served in some rajashthani cuisine restaurants. But it was not great. The place is pretty pocket friendly for a wholesome meal. Can visit for having Thalis. Won't recommend for having Daal Bati.

Ambience 4/5<br/>Taste 4.5/5<br/>VFM 4.5/5<br/>Service 4.5/5<br/>Hygiene 4/5<br/>The food is amazing, authentic place<br/>Loved their shrikand
Pawan Regude
Good and simple food with very affordable price. It is difficult to find unlimited thali with very low price without affecting quality of the food. One improvement area would be service. Staff is not attentive.
Montu Gupta
Daal baati dish is very good in taste. I love to eat here everytime. This is the place for those who want to eat these kind of dishes and miss home made food.
Dushyant Jadav
Eat away as much as you can ...if you dont have access to homely food on a daily basis...this is your next option... For 90 rs unlimited this is the best deal you can get...hot fulka chapatis with 2 sabjis (that vary on a daily basis) and Dal/kadhi (your choice) and sweet ...buttermilk, lassi and shrikhand are also available if you want<br/><br/>Although it's not a very fancy place in terms of ambience it is much better than a lot of messes that I have visited.
Sonam Mehta
A place for homely veg food where u get unlimited thali for very cheap. <br/><br/>Dal bhaati was a disappointment for me. <br/><br/>If u stay near by, running out of money and wish to have cheap homely food you can go and eat here everyday. It more of a mess kind of place.
Nabajit
It's a North Indian mess, predominantly Rajasthani food. As the name suggest it provides thalis (that too unlimited) with a homely taste at very affordable price. They provide regular North Indian thalis, dal bati churma and parathas. This place quite popular among the bachelors living around the area. I have been to this place numerous times in past 3 years and taste have been consistently good. If you are looking for a quick homely lunch or dinner, this is the place. Only downside is the ambiance of the area. Though I don't expect a mess set up like this to have ambiance of a top notch restaurant but can keep the furnitures, walls and floor clean and tidy.<br/><br/>They have some of the best Parathas you will find in Bangalore.
Abhishek Bhaskar
Visited this place for lunch. Pretty good value for money. But i got a few chapathis/ rotis which were not cooked properly. And also, the rice was good, but after the 2nd serving, i felt like i got some different / bad quality rice...<br/><br/>Maybe it was just for me, but all in all, a good experience. A full tummy for a 100 bucks. Worth it.<br/><br/>Go if you want a full tummy but dont want to break your wallet.<br/><br/>- Abhishek Bhaskar.
Suchitra Raikar
Service is very quick and people are very polite. It's very clean and you get table quickly<br/><br/>Food is homely and if u go during monsoon u may get to try aamras which was as good as one prepared by your mother. Shrikhand is of good quality and quantity is so much that it can be shared by 2.<br/><br/>Also meals are unlimited including chapati.<br/><br/>Overall 5/5 for the amount we paid.
Deedu Pipada
Very homely food. You get unlimited meals for 100 bucks that consists of Rotis spread with Desi ghee, one gravy subji, one dry subji, dal and Gujarati Kadi, rice, raita and curd. The food is extremely tasty inspite the ambience being a typical dhaba type where you squeeze in to sit down. Definitely worth 100 bucks. Very wholesome.
Kartik Bhat
A place which is very easy to miss on a relatively quiet lane in Kormangala. They serve delicious Gujarati cuisine Thali. Rotis with 2 types of curry, raita, Gujarati style Dal, kadhi, rice and curd.<br/>Chaas or lassi can be ordered additionally if you wish to.<br/>Super quick and efficient service.<br/><br/>Quality of food - 5<br/>Service - 5<br/>Ambience - 3.5

I am just wondering why I never seen this place before and people says it’s there from ages. <br/><br/>Tried regular vegetarian thali , great roasted ghee dal bati churma and delicious home made shre khand. <br/>Food just blow my mind, it’s just a great home made food with lots of love. <br/><br/>Great service and I had such a lovely food after a ages. <br/><br/>Thanks for Shree thali for making us try some delicious stuff.
Deepanshu Shukla
Decent food. Though phulka are good. Cant complain if they provide such decent meal at Rs. 100. Ambience is not good. Restaurant is in on first floor of an independent house.
Ankur Barot
Great Indian Unlimited Food @ Rs 100. A saviour for anyone looking for budget food place in Kormangala.<br/>Highly recommended for everyone and a case study for Restaurants on how to satisfy customer needs and build your Business.<br/>
Apoorva Kumar G Rao
Unlimited thali for 100 rs(not 90 rs) available here. "Homely food" so don't expect too much tasty food here. Pulkas are nice. Check the updated menu. (2018 january)
Reetesh Gupta
In bangalore for only 90 rs full stamoch healthy food.<br/>Really good. Sudh satvik food.<br/><br/>.......................................................
Abhishek Kumar
The place where you can get unlimited and good veg food at the price of just Rs 90. The food quality is also good here. One thing about the food that I don't like here is that they provide the same Kadi and Dal every time you came here. Secondly you will not get any choice. Everyday they change only one item from the menu. The place is like you go there, eat food and pay the bill and go out of this place. There is no ambience, so please don't treat this place for any kind of party or something. But the food is too good. I have been there twice and will surely go again.
Mayank Agrawal
Simple Authentic North Indian Food to be eaten till your heart is full.<br/>What do you ask more for @ Rs 90.<br/><br/>दाल, पालक पनीर, कढ़ी, मिक्स वेग, रोटी, राइस , अचार,<br/>दही, मिक्स वेग रायता, पापड़ ।
Karan Bhatia
A nice place if u want to eat typical "ghar ka khana". Food is good. What i liked is the cost and service with which they serve. Whenever u visit u must try their thali.
Arun
A delightful small home. I wouldn't call it a restaurant. If you feel like eating ghar ka Khana and are tired of shopping and parking in Koramangala ; do visit this place. The Khadi-chawal is particularly good.
Vipul Chaudhary
USP : Rajasthani/Gujarati (Jain also) Food at an economical price.<br/><br/>You get an unlimited thali at Rs 90, and unlimited Dal Bati for 110.<br/><br/>Thali includes Phulkas, Rice, Dry Veg, Gravy Veg, Kadhi, Dal, Curd, Raita, Sweet and Frymes.<br/><br/>Along with Dal-Baati, you get kadhi, raita and sweet<br/><br/>Baati seemed fried rather than baked, but was soft and flavourful. Comes dipped in "Ghee" (its not vegetable oil since I could see the leftover ghee solidified in a few minutes). Kadhi is also pretty authentic, and the dal - though a bit diluted - will remind you of the north.<br/><br/>A lot of other outlets exist with thali system, but the taste and the variety for this price is unmatched.<br/><br/>They accept Cash and UPI transfer (he said BHIM app). You can order online via 'runnr' also.
Anuj Shroff
Great homely north Indian food available at cheap price. Taste upto the mark and lot of variety available. Very small outlet but worth going and having food once a while.
Niraj Yeole
Away from home? Bored of the commercial food/taste? Need some desi ghar ka khaana? Answer: Shree Thali. <br/><br/>90 Rs. For an unlimited thali/meal is light on pocket.<br/><br/>Highlight: hot phulkas with ghee <br/><br/>Unlimeted thali incudes: <br/>2 veg: dry and gravy one each<br/>Dal<br/>Kadhi<br/>Curd/raita (limited)<br/>Phulkas<br/>Rice<br/>Sweet (limited)<br/><br/>Taste: 4/5<br/>Hygiene: 4.5/5<br/>Order time: 5/5<br/>Value for money: 5/5<br/><br/>They also serve: Multigraing bati and parathas<br/><br/>Must visit place!
Abhishek Nigam
If you are craving for homely north indian food then its the best place. Economical on pocket and thali which reminds you of your home food. Food here is of great quality and great taste. Don't think about ambiance while visiting this place as it is like a small mess. There phulkas are so soft. A must visit place for every north indians whoever likes simple home made food.

Used to be our hangout after college...Forget Om cafe or Gramin... You cant just stop eating those fluffy, hot and fresh rotis and the curry menu keeps changing which I love and last but not the least the "LASSI" and small glass of joy but you get way to dizzy after the lassi...still I wonder if its the food or the lassi that use to make me fall asleep during classes. I miss those days.
Priyansh Burad
Awesone place to have delicious Rajasthani Style Daal Baati.... with great lassi..........<br/>If you are a Daal Baati fan then you MUST go for it guys.... #DaalBaatLovers....!
Rajesh Dangi
Simple, no nonsense unlimited pure veg rajasthani thali. Place is small with 7-8 tables with 4 seats, first floor of a small building yet neat and clean. The hot phulkas served till you are full with good attentive service, one does not need to wait for anything other than the seat as place is crowd puller. For Rs. 90 with phulkas, rice, kadhi, curd, two vegetables, tasty daal, raita and one sweet ( buttermilk of lassi is charged extra) this is one good example of a running rasoi (kitchen) 7 days a week. The menu has lot of paratha items and daal baati too, will keep it for my next visit.
Jas
Worth it for each penny<br/><br/>They serve unlimited meal in just Rs 80😳😳 What else you want? Cheap unlimited food with quality... <br/><br/>Their service is fast and staff is friendly
Harshit SHarma
It doesn't get better than this. Complete meal in 80 Bucks! Make it 100 if you love Lassi. I personally know more than 10 people who eat at Shreethali regularly and they are pretty Happy with the food!<br/><br/>Quality is good and so is the quantity (read unlimited food). The service is also good. Perfect for vegetarians as they serve only veg Thalis! I always prefer to eat here whenever I am around 5th Block.
Arun Prasath Reddy
This place has been my destiny for authentic north indian veg food.. Its perfect balance between quality & quantity.. the subzis are awesome... kadi, dal is fantastic... from all the above their service is extremely good.. must visit budget buffet in bangalore...

I have been away from home since the last 2 years. But one thing I have not been away from is home cooked food. This place makes me feel right at home. The sheer number of variety, quality and the hospitality of the people serving the food will make you visit this place again and again. 5 stars to this place!
Pratik Jagad
A good substitute for home food ... Bless this place whole heartedly ...each day is a variety in vegetable, sweets , etc. To add in your taste, home made lassi and Shrikhand will sweeten your taste buds :)
Moulee
Shree Thali is the best example for 'looks are deceptive' in restaurants category. A house in the first floor of a building converted into restaurant, this place surely does not instill apetite by the looks. But when the thali is served and start out... it is a different story altogether. Me and my wife are regular here, for the homely thali and tasty lassi. But once again I repeat, this place is not for people who are very particular about ambience
Amit Bikram
Heard about the 80 bucks thali from a friend and decided to try it out with friends. <br/><br/>Located on the first floor of a small building, not exactly posh and not a conventional location for a restaurant.<br/><br/>The food, though, is delicious and perfect for those who miss home cooked food. <br/><br/>The thali consists of roti, dry sabji, gravy sabji, kadi, raita, curd and dal, along with a sweet.<br/><br/>Other items in the menu include paratha plates and extras such as lassi and butter milk.<br/><br/>Unlimited rotis and sabji at such a cheap price is a bonanza for the customers.<br/><br/>Don't expect great ambiance though the service is decent. <br/><br/>Great value for money, though wish for a greater variety in the menu.
Rohan Shah
Nice food it will remind all Gujaratis of their homes very pocket friendly and delicious food available not usually crowded neat and clean ambience just enjoy good home food here
Mahesha M
Visited this place quite a few times. For 80 rupees you can get a good satisfying meal here. The food gets you the feel of home made and the taste is very good too. Do try their lassi to round off your meal.
Dawa Tsamcho
It's a budget friendly hotel. They don't have many varieties, however offer good food in the options they have. I usually order the thali. They serve freshly made hot phulkas which is good. The menu for subzi changes everyday. I somehow manage to finish the thali completely at this place, because usually I cannot finish the whole thali. It's kinda regular lunch place for me as it's quite near to my office .
Manas Kj
Decided to try this place because of 80 Rs. unlimited Thali<br/><br/>Pros:<br/>1. Taste 3.5/5<br/>2. Quality and Quantity 4/5<br/>3. Service 4/5<br/>4. Seating 3.5/5<br/>5. Value for money 4.5/5<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>1. Cleanliness 2/5<br/>2. Their thali menu needs change: What the f combination is Aloo Loki!<br/><br/>Will visit this place again to try their Dal Baati
Mayank Gaur
If you are hungry and looking for homefood food and that too without hurting your pocket this is the place to be.they serve unlimited thali meals at 80rs which is quite impossible to believe considering the fact that they are situated in koramngla. The food is good and tasty but don't expect it to be fancy.<br/>
Neha
Me and my friend visited there for lunch.. We ordered one thali and aloo methi parota..it was just amazing and yummy..we enjoyed the buttermilk there too. keep maintained the food quality :-)
Nitesh Vaidya
Want some home like food, this is the place to be. Be it the regular meal thali or paratha's or the recently added menu everything here is fabulous. A regular at this place with suggest everyone to try atleast once.
Tanmay Upadhyay
Unlimited roti s is selling point only variety is the problem here. But thali is nice.<br/><br/>They have options curry or daal.daal wasn't up to mark. Subzi was nice
Peeyush Sachdeva
Wow, this place is pretty amazing. For 80 bucks you get to eat as much as you want. It is a steal of a deal. The taste is good too. Do yourself a favour and don't expect the ambience to rock your world cause it wont. It is what it is. Economical and tasty unlimited food at its best. Best for office goers and bachelors but others can give it a try as well.
Rajkiran Sattigeri
Decent ghar ka khaana is what can be found over here...<br/>The place is a more or less like a mess... least expenditure is made on the seating and decors / interiors. Nevertheless there is no compromise on the food served, the quality and the hospitality... Unlimited food at the given price is really worth the deal!!<br/>A normal person could have around 8-10 tawa rotis (though i could have around 14) meaning there is least soda in the food..making it even more healthy!!<br/>Once a week, this place is recommended!!<br/>Tip: The chilled lassi served is complete delight!! Many a times you may not even get it, as it is prepared in limited quantities!!
Jitendra Kumar Dash
its a lovely daily eating place. you can have unlimited food for the price, hats off to you guys. food quality is not bad only thing is its not much for ambient wise appealing. I am not saying its a pure North indian food but they are close and pretty good.
Kushal Sheshadri
A small place on main road, a eating house. Not elegant, no premium chairs and tables. But awesome food that makes your tummy happy. Very pocket friendly and worth the money you pay.
Arjit Sood
Value for money. For ₹80 you get unlimited food. The food is also pretty decent. Their sweet lassi is just amazing. It's not a restaurant but a mess so don't expect a lot.
Akash S. Mehta
Very decent and budget food. If you want to have it on daily basis then go for it. Not that much spicy nor too bland. Unlimited food with everything including curd and a desert too.

The place is calm and dark. So, overall a great place to have sex while eating cheap food. Free condoms with each thali. Great for large groups as well as couples too.
Pardeep
Had a trouble in finding the place. This place is in the opposite lane of rajasthani shree shyam thali.I ordered for Thali, which had khadi, daal, one subzi, rajma, dahi, roti, rice and one besan ladoo. So a lot you get in Rs 80.Talking about the quality it was decent. One can try if looking for homely cooked north indian food.
Alok Hagaragond
Nice Gujrati food. Dal Baati, Parathas and Unlimited Meal is available for Rs 80. This place is a stone's throw away from my office n hence I visit this place once almost every week. Lassi served here is 1 of the best I ever had :)
Shubham Badal
Pros : Feels like 'Ghar ka khana', very affordable ,variety of food and multiple components integrated. within a single thali.<br/><br/>Cons : Always full, expand the space.
Sunethra Mahidhar Thorve
I think it is the perfect place to go to if you want 'ghar ka khana'<br/>It is located at Koramangala 5th block above BanSuri Sweets. You cannot expect proper dining ambience but you could compromise that for the food.<br/>
Nareshkagahti
Ok the best place to full you tummy without putting hole to you pocket. <br/><br/>+Ve<br/>1.Best pricing,<br/>2 Hygienic food,<br/>3 Home Made taste, No too much Marsala. <br/><br/>-Ve<br/>1.Not very attractive verities.<br/>2. Average ambiance.

Ghar ka kana... Best place to daily food.. Specially the kadi is just great.. 80 rupees unlimited thalli.. Now this became my daily driver for my dinner
Jophin George
I come here for lunch if I am in a mood to have veg.<br/>It's a simple thali type where we will get North Indian food.<br/>What I like the most is dal bathi. <br/>It's little hard to break the bathi but it's good after mixing it up with dal.<br/>Food good<br/>Service good<br/>Hospitality average

If you are lazy on a day where you don’t wish to go through a menu to choose and order, then head to this place. It is a no frill food joint where your tummy can relish on the homely, non-spicy, clean and fulfilling thali. The thali is unlimited so that you can keep hogging without too much coming out of your wallet. They serve rotis with ghee but you can order plain ones too. Do order the lassi once you finish. Will keep coming back.
Linet George
Yes. I agree that they charge less. I felt like I went back to my college hostel (where I hated those curry taste) again. I would never recommend this plade for anyone. @ashish denny p sam

The best value for money unlimited Thali available in kormangala.<br/>The place is a Rajasthani place and they serve paranthas, dal bhati and thali.<br/>The dal bhati was not that great however the paranthas and thali are quite good.<br/>The thali is unlimited and the waiters won't let your plate go empty. Before you finish the last roti there will be waiters ready to serve more.<br/>They serve Roti's with and without ghee and you can chose accordingly.<br/>The lassi is also good with very mild sweetness. Its quite thick and has kesar flavour.<br/>The waiters are very well behaved and treat you well. The food is homely and nothing extravagant.
Vivek Kothari
This place serves good thalis which will definitely remind you of home in a good way. I go there almost daily and it is always bustling with people. The service is extremely quick too. Other items to try parantha and dal baati.

Easily the best option if you are looking for a budget meal in Koramangala. I fell in love with the food and Im a regular customer here. The waiters never let u wait for the food and serves very well. This is one of the few places that fills not just your tummy but your heart too.
Sabari Sridhar O T
Shree thali is a cute little place for a quick evening bite if you are in a mood for a vegetarian allahadabi cuisine. Their roti subzees and the north indian thali are very tasty, filling and cheap. Especially their curd, such a thick fresh yummy curd you would ever taste. butter milk they offer is one of the best. Their sweet varieties are also good. The service is brisk with friendly young guys who serve with a smile. Ambience is average. The place is a tiny joint but since it is not that crowded it is manageable to sit and dine. <br/><br/>On the whole. I'll give it a 3.5/5 , a place you can go alone are with friends or if you find it difficult to dine then takeaway is also a good option.
SUHEL MD
Rajasthani pure Veg with a descent price and yes..they serve u unlimited. Other day tested dal baati ..but they don't serve surma . food taste is homely without any food color.rotis are soft and beautifully spread butter

Ordered Dal Bati and Paneer Partha through Swiggy from this place. <br/>Dal bati was somewhat ok, but the stuffing in paneer partha was less.<br/>But It was a good deal nonetheless. One can visit the place and try their Thali also with unlimited servings. Value for Money, definitly.

Still reading by the time you must be there......<br/><br/>It deserves anything more than 5 stars.

hey who we kidding, this is the kind of food we need to eat everyday. daily fare home cooked food easy on the pocket. considering the number of people in bangalore living away from families i am surprised there aren't more of these
Deepak Nayak
If you're hungry and want a wholesome meal with no nonsense, you need to visit this place.. Shree thali is placed a little off the main road on first floor.. It's a house converted to a restaurant with no attempts made to make it look like one.. Nevertheless, I score this place only for food coz that's where it all begins and ends for me.. The thaali consists of unlimited supply of roti, dry sabzi, gravy, daal, rice, kadi and salad.. This is accompanied by curds and a sweet too.. The service is awesome.. They serve you like you're at home.. I also like the additional lassi that they serve.. All of this meal is for ₹70 + ₹20 for lassi.. All in all under ₹100 you have a great meal with good service! Bring it on!
Sneha Nadkarni
Shree Thali was a "surprise at a simple cost".  I was on a look out for an economical yet healthy meal when I stumbled upon this place. Close to most offices in Kormangala..the food at this place is simple yet tasty. Sumptuous food & reasonably priced. <br/><br/>Have been here only once, but would wish to visit again for a quick weekday lunch.  <br/><br/>My personal favourite is the Dal and the Gujrati Kadi..
Tarundeep Sharma
Simple, Homely, cheap and tasty food!! Yes this is the place you can go and try... I love thali here which is unlimited and make you feel as you are having home made food... I also tried alu paranthas which were also well stuffed and tasty..

If you are need of a quick, cheap, no fuss lunch then drop in. <br/>Personally I would have liked the dishes a tad bit spicier. Good kadhi, hot phulkas and really thick lassi.
Prasanna Somasundaram
Basic, simple North Indian food. The place is clean and the service quick. Good value for money! Shred Thali is the kind of place to hop in for a quick dinner without putting a lot of stress on your wallet.

Went there this evening. Simple clean unassuming place near Anand Sweets in.a side lane on the first floor 5th block koramangala.<br/><br/>POPULARITY INDEX<br/>At 10 30 pm only one table was vacant. Shree is a north indian mess kind of an eatery serving vegetarian thali and parathas.<br/>The food is served fresh and hot. The unlimited thali decently priced at Rs.70 gives you 2 vegis, dal, curry (punjabi/gujrati/rajasthani), rice and freshly prepared chapatis - ALL unlimited, apart from curd and a sweet item.<br/>Besides thali, they also serve hot stuffed parathas and baati.<br/>Their baati is not to be missed - it is prepared and served in ghee which, such that it simply melts in the mouth.<br/><br/>If you are feeling homesick or missing home food and you happen to be in or around Koramangala, Shree is your destination for a fulfilling experience.<br/><br/>They also serve beverages like sweet lassi, buttermilk and cold drinks. They usually run out of sweet lassi - probably because of its demand.

How I found Shree Thali ???<br/>Well I was at Koramangala 5th Block and was trying to find a place to park and I turned into the road after Yana Sizzlers. As I did so I saw a number people going up and coming down from the corner building. I was curious and as I passed by I saw the board that read "Shree Thali" Upstairs, first floor. <br/>Later on I checked the place on Zomato and it had amazing ratings so I decided to give it a try the very next day.<br/><br/>Shree Thali is located at Koramnagala 5th Block, off 60ft road on the 1st right from Ganapathi Temple Road.<br/>As you entry you have a feeling that you're at home because it is a house used as this canteen/mess.<br/>It's authentic North Indian I must say and according to my Northie friends, it comes very close to the food they have at their homes. Not much to chose from, it's just Thali/Meals and they have started off with a variety of Parathas which are yummy btw. The Thali is unlimited and purely North Indian based with Fulkas(as soft as they can get), a dry vegetable curry, another special curry which is usually rajma or channa or paneer, the classic dal, Gujarati Kadi, rice and of course curd.<br/>The dry vegetable curries are really really tasty, too much oil but incredibly tasty !! The Kadi is perfect and it will stimulate your taste buds and is out of the world and goes with the perfectly cooked rice.<br/>Them there is the Lassi, which I feel is a must have as it is very refreshing, tasty and relaxing especially to beat this summer heat.<br/><br/>If you're around and wanna have a good, filling, tasty, justice for what you've paid North Indian food, then Shree Thaliis the place to go. Once again don't forget to have the lassi :)

Hunger and laziness is relentlessly tugging on to me ever since I got back. After a very tiring day at work a friend and I decided to eat out at this place which has been mentioned to us many a times . <br/><br/>Located on the first floor of a building on the lane right opposite the one that hosts "Polar Bear" in Koramangala 5th Block.<br/><br/>One must not expect anything here in terms of an ambience as this is more like a mess/canteen that has only one purpose i.e to serve homely food at easy on the pocket prices.<br/><br/>Even before we could register our thoughts the guy who runs the place asked us on our choice. We were pointed to the poster menu stuck on the walls . We decided to go for 2 mini meals which by any means did not seem mini by the number of options that it came with.<br/>In about half a minute the Thalis were brought to us and within another 20 odd second came the Hot Ghee Rotis.<br/>The Thali consists of 4 Rotis , Rice ,"Dal" , "Moong Curry", "Bhindi Masala" , "Gujarati Kadi", "Curd" , "Sweet" and "Papad".<br/>Everything on the Thali was good . The portions of the gravies did seem less but then came out to be sufficient. <br/>The only con was that the Bhindi was undercooked. <br/>The meal costs 60 Rs . Even though they have named the meal "Mini" I would not say so myself.<br/>Service as mentioned above is very quick .<br/><br/>This place is perfect for all those hungry hearts who crave for a neat amount of good food that come with a very reasonable price and is served very quickly.

I have been living in Koramangala for 5+ years and this small place has been there for almost 5 years now.<br/><br/>It is hard to find good humble Roti-chapati and Sabzi in Bangalore and this place definitely has it.<br/><br/>To start off this is a mess. Your typical College days' mess. Clean plastic tables and floor. Staff is courteous. And food is amazing. They have 4 meals<br/><br/>1. Full unlimited Thali<br/>2. Mini Thali<br/>3. Parathas<br/>4. Daal Baati.<br/><br/>Thaali contains Fulkas, Daal, Kadhi, Gravy , Sukhi Sabzi and curd. Very good value for money when you are hungry as everything is unlimited.<br/>Mini meal has same menu but is limited<br/>Parathas are really awesome and tasty. You get unlimited sabzi - curd with them. They have Aloo , Palak, Paneer and Methi paratha. All under 30 Rs. a piece<br/><br/>Gravies are very well prepared with lots of balanced spices. Hard to find such good quality gravies anywhere else in Bangalore.<br/><br/>But best of the lot has to be Daal Bati. Over roasted Baatis with Daal and Ghee is absolute bliss. <br/><br/>This is how a good food joint should be. No fuss no English-Vinglish no hi-fi ambiance whatnot. Only clean hygienic simple nutritious food that you can have everyday.<br/><br/>Recommended for anyone who wants real taste of Rajasthani-Gujarati food at affordable price. No meal costs more than 80 Rs here. Which is great given the area and quality of food.<br/><br/>Food : 4.5<br/>Service : 4.5<br/>Ambiance: 4.0<br/>Variety : 4.5<br/>Price : 5.0

*******************************Awesome Food at and Affordable Price*****************************<br/><br/>HOME MADE FOOD AT HOME MADE PRICES.<br/>OH My GOD!<br/>This place is difficult to find unless you visit it once.<br/>Very close to Yana Sizzlers, It serves proper thali's. <br/>For 2 subji's and 4 fulka's + curd + Dal+ rice, they charge only 45 rs.<br/>And mind you, the quality is impeccable.<br/>They modify the thali for no extra cost. If you dont like a Sabji, they replace it with the other option.<br/>Sprouts are always available here.<br/>Good on nutrition. They also provide you with Home made pickle. <br/>Kadi is worth a try. <br/>No Music. Not needed when you have such good food on your table.<br/>Getting place here would get troublesome as most of the north Indian's (actually everyone) choose to visit this place for dinner.<br/>Who gets unlimited food for 65? and such good quality. <br/><br/>*******************************Awesome Food at and Affordable Price*****************************
Gargi_Lives To Eat! ;)
This is kind of a mess. Not much of an ambience to boast of. Simple plastic chairs and tables are there in 4 small rooms in a house turned into mess. And its not exactly a proper gujarati mess as people say.If you are craving for homemade food this is the place.<br/>The food is simple and good and priced very less as you can see the menu.I have gone here a couple of times and like it. Service here is good and the people take orders and serve food very fast.<br/>Kadi, aloo ki sabji, chana sabji, mixed vegetable sabji is really good in this place. You get really good phulkas and dal. The menu for the thali is not fixed and they serve something different every time. You have limited and unlimited thali both. The proportion of food for limited thali is quite generous too.<br/>I go here whenever I don't want to have pg food and don't want to spend much.<br/><br/>Food-4/5<br/>Ambience-2/5<br/>Service-4/5

Tasty food is the right word for this place.. I have loved the quality they maintain to attract bachelors. I have liked their thali's cos thats the best here..<br/><br/>4 chapati's, Dal, rice, sabzi - sookhi, sabzi - ras wali. papad, salad and pickle<br/>and how can i forget the KADI. Super yummy..<br/><br/>they charge 60 for a limited and 70 for unlimited.<br/><br/>You also have a choice to order the paranthas which are equally good.<br/><br/>The lassi isnt that great comparatively.<br/>The place is inside a house with a lot of tables and chairs. It accommodates a lot of crowd at peak hours.<br/><br/>very efficient serving team..<br/><br/>worth the money. Food is very tasty here. An everyday paradise.

This place is located at a walkable distance from our home, so this is among my saviours when I'm too tired to cook in the evening. <br/><br/>Ambience - 1/5<br/>This is essentially a bachelor/spinster joint, which you'd notice as soon as you walk in. Do not expect anything in terms of ambience, the seating area is cramped and resembles a roadside dhaba in a remote village. I've just about managed to sit inside once, the rest of the times we always got our order packed.<br/><br/>Service - 3/5<br/>Though this is a hole-in-the-wall, the service here is fast and efficient. The servers keep taking rounds and keep offering you refills of the various curries. <br/><br/>Food - 3.5/5<br/>They have 2 options in the menu - an unlimited meal for 70/- and limited meals for 50/- Unless you've not eaten for a few days, I think you'll be fine with the limited option. They serve 4 chapatis(6 if you skip the rice), daal, kadhi, dry vegetable, gravy and curd. If you've not eaten home food for a while, this might just make you cry. We eat at home (almost) every night, so that was not a problem for me. I recommend the kadhi in particular, absolutely delicious.<br/><br/>Value for money - 5/5<br/>If this isn't VFM, I don't know what is.<br/><br/>Plain, simple homely food for a steal.

This is the place for people who wants chapathi or phulka.<br/><br/>Ambiance - 3/10<br/>Taste - 7/10 <br/>Quantity - 8/10<br/>Quality - 6.5/10<br/>Service - 7/10 (decent)<br/>Wallet Factor - 8.5/10

A simple vegetarian mess kind of place. Good homely veg food. <br/>Place is neat and clean.<br/>Thalis are priced just at 50 and unlimited at 70.<br/>Chapatis are very soft freshly made, 2 veggies, dal, rice, thick curd and the gujrati khadi. Good taste.<br/>Simple food not oily.<br/>If you need to eat out daily Shree thali is one of the places you could go for.
