Review Lono - The Tropical Lounge - Bengaluru

An excellent place to hang out with friends or family. Wonderful garden like setting in the outside to relax and chill without any loud and blaring music. The variety of food and drinks were impressive. The staff was friendly and the order came without delay considering that we ordered several dishes and drinks. Loved the cheesy chicken fungi and Mexican quesadila. The cranberry and mint mocktails were also excellent. The bill was way below expectation. Overall, an excellent food place for occasional meals.

Great ambience to this place. There’s swing seats which I really found fun to sit on. Nice seating are outside too. They have valet parking. For starters we had wings and sekh kebab, the wings were fantastic. Drinks we had mock tails which were both very good. Pizza was really bad. Esp for a place that sells italian food it was really bad, didn’t finish it. We also got the cheesy chicken steak which was great but the onion rings which came with it was doughy. They customise food to add or remove some ingredients which is good Overall I think with food they can do so much better esp for the price. Yeah the washroom is pretty dingy and could be so much better too!

Ambience is very good there and greenery also looks aesthetic. Service is also good and all the service persons are very polite and gentle. I book that place to surprise my girlfriend for birthday so I informed them they arrange cake flower bouquets and they give those also right before midnight.

Pretty cozy place very neat and clean, food was good . Staff are nice but would be lovely if they can learn to speak in English since we had trouble communicating things.

Hands down one of the best places for cocktails in Bangalore apart from three dots and a dash. Food is really good usually, been here multiple times but the last visit was a bit disappointing only cause it was overcrowded and the pizza was a little on the undercooked. Taste wise still bomb and probably has one of the best baked nachos in town! A must visit place. I love their Hawaii Pizza(yes I love pineapple on pizza)

Just Amazing. Ambiance here is so good. They have 2 sides, one outdoor and one indoor. Outdoor is completely decorated with green plants and indoor have nice Ambiance too. The best thing I found here is they really give great quantity. I just loved the Fish chilli there and Chill Express mocktail. It's a must visit resturant in Indranagar.

Hellooo people! Basically this place has a good ambiance full of greenery and peaceful.. But! They too late when it comes to serving... God they literally took an hour to give a brownie and that was so frustrating... and their order of serving food was totally wrong..💁🏾‍♀️Dead slow in services so not that satisfied and food taste was okay okay not that great.. Yesterday marked my second visit to Lono, and it was fantastic. Accompanied by eight cousins, friends, and acquaintances, we had a great time. We snagged a spot at the swing table indoors—while the ambiance was appealing, sitting without a backrest for nearly three hours wasn't very comfortable. Lono offers a separate celebration area for booking birthday or anniversary events, and they even have a pet-friendly space. However, the evening lighting was a bit dim, making it challenging to capture good pictures without using flash. The service was excellent, although the menu was scan-based, placing orders required calling the server. The location embraces a tropical and Hawaiian theme, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Now onto the food and drinks—here's our rating: Bar items: Pitcher - Budweiser premium Mh - Bacardi rum Sky Hawaiian - 4/5 Wit mug - 4/5 Food items: Pepper Chicken - 4.5/5: Juicy, crispy, well-balanced spices—though we expected it to be spicier, it paired wonderfully with the beer. Crispy Corn Chilli Pepper - 5/5: Remarkably crispy and tender corn with the perfect chatpata taste, unlike the soggy versions elsewhere. Supreme Chicken Nachos - 4.5/5: Delicious with a great blend of flavors, but we wished it was spicier. Pao de Quejó - 4/5: Juicy and crunchy veg cheese balls; vegetarians among us loved the balance of bell pepper and jalapeños. BBQ Chicken Pizza - 4.5/5: Tasty with large slices and apt cheese, though the tangy taste overshadowed the spice, which was a downside for me. Margarita Pizza and Verdure Pizza: The former was simple, as expected, while the latter surprised me. Despite not being a fan of veg dishes, this pizza's unique cheese made it irresistible, and I went for more than one slice. Twin Mushroom Cheese - 4.5/5: Enjoyed by the veggie lovers, even though I'm not a fan of mushrooms. Overall, Lono is a great place with fantastic food and ambiance, deserving a 4.5 rating. They even have a dance floor. However, my disappointment lies in the lack of a policy regarding kids—considering the drinking and constant smoking, some regulations should be in place. . The price is a little on the higher end but the food knocks it off . It was around 8k but we got a 15% discount when paid through Zomato .

I visited the ice cream place recently and tried their Nutty Caramel Bliss. The flavor was delightful, combining Nutella ice cream, caramelized white chocolate, French almond, and chocolate ganache. The ambiance was pleasant, with a clean and attractive setting accompanied by soothing background music. However, the price of 296 without tax did seem quite expensive to me. Despite the cost, the quality of the ice cream was undeniably good.

What a nice place to hangout with your friends or have a drink with your date. I love exploring new places and last night came accross this place while in Indiranagar. Ambience: it's soothing to the eyes and feels very rejuvenating due to plenty of plants surrounding you. Service : The service is not upto the mark but also not bad. When we precisely told to bring the salad first and later the main course, yet we got our all gods together after long waiting. The waiters are not very attentive. Food: The quantity of food is really great. We two people couldn't finish 1 plate of salad and 1 bowl of noodles. The taste was also great, though the Chicken noodles was not authentic but it tastes very homely. Price: This place is really budget friendly. We took 1 hawain salad, 1 chicken noodles and a glass of toit beer, costed only 1000 bucks. So a great value for money. Must recommend place in Indiranagar.

Lono Tropical Lounge exceeded my expectations! I indulged in the Drums of Heaven, Paneer Tikka, Chicken Malai Kebab, and some heavenly cocktails and the experience was simply fantastic. The Drums of Heaven were wonderfully crispy, the Paneer Tikka packed with flavor, and the Chicken Malai Kebab was incredibly tender. Each dish left a delicious impression. The cocktails were a delightful addition, perfectly crafted to complement the meal. What made the evening even better was the relaxed atmosphere. Lono provides a chill and inviting space, making it an ideal spot to unwind. The service was prompt, and the staff contributed to the overall enjoyable vibe. Lono Tropical Lounge strikes the right balance between delectable food, refreshing drinks, and a laid back ambiance. Whether you're a foodie or just looking to relax with friends, this place has it all. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience where great flavors meet a relaxing environment. One of the best places I visited in Bangalore, a very relaxing and cool place in the area. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and both are amazing in their own way, we experienced the outdoor seating, it was lush green and very beautiful. The food was amazing and and the cocktails were good. The staff were cooperative, the place was very well maintained, bathrooms were clean and hygienic. Overall had a very good expense, would definitely revisit.

The outdoor seating is the smoking area and the smoke got unbearable after a while. Good music. Food options are extremely limiting but the portion size is good making it worth very buck spent.

Overall good experience budget friendly for a group of 15 having 25 k with taqueila shots and beer 🍺 all was quite good price range. Had good vibrant colours and seeting arrangement s too.

I visited this restaurant with my friends for dinner. The ambience is very soothing and green. No loud music and you can talk with your friends and family in a peaceful surrounding with tasteful decor and soft lighting. It has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is equally impressive. We tried chicken popcorn and onion rings and will recommend this to everyone. The service at Lono is impeccable. The staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, and they go out of their way to make sure that every guest feels comfortable and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Lono to all who are looking for a peaceful dinning experience and delicious meal.

The place is good , service is good !! But the liquor for some reason just doesn't hit you , the shots were like juice literally!!! And the dj wasn't good at all !! Other then that it a good place to party but not the best !!

Good Vibes, especially on Wednesday nights.. deep house, techo outside in the chillout area, a basket ball court which is now non functional. A stage on top with bright lights and crazy Hip-Hop! You will enjoy the ambience :) i recommend everyone to visit this place. :)

This was our first visit at LONO and it was such an amazing experience. <br/>The ambience over there is very delightful with all those plants wonderfully maintained. <br/>Hospitality of the staffs was just too good. They were very professional and polite and always smiling ,haven't experienced anything like that before. <br/>Special thanks to <br/>Mr. Vicky Gowda ,the Manager- who went out of his way to serve us. He made sure we get a good offer, and that we are comfortable. That's what is called great hospitality.<br/>Also I would also like to appreciate the associates- Mr.Riyaz, Mr. Ali, Chef Suresh and Mr. Babu, who were always ready to help us with a smile on. <br/>I do understand that during the Covid pandemic it's really difficult to get associates however Vicky managed with the associates and me and my friend were really happy visiting LONO.Such an amazing team you guys have. <br/>I would recommend everyone to visit this place. <br/>Keep rocking you guys!!

The ambience is top notch. It is so beautiful and well organised. The food is served fresh and clean. The staffs are courteous and polite. The food is really delicious. It’ll be a perfect date spot. It is a themed place and its name reflects it very well. This place has both outdoor and indoor seating facility to choose from. It has relaxing vibes and it calms your mind. Over all its a beautiful place which is worth a visit. It might be difficult to get a table in the weekends. You better reserve to save your time!

This bar is absolute fun! Love the aesthetic. The Manhattan is my favourite cocktail here. The menu and service is always great. Perfect for large and small groups. They also have a mezzanine level overlooking the entire lounge area - great for a night out in town. The Hawaiian salad is fab. Chicken roulade and jalapeño nuggets are the perfect finger foods to go with any drink.

Probably one of the best in Indiranagar. Been here when BDA / BBMP was trying to make money by concrete white topping and could not find a parking space and had ride all the way until the nearby church to park.<br/>Except for the parking trouble, the place is fancy with a lot of bonsai plants, there's a lot of natural light and air that comes in. Three different sections within the place. Always running water through the huge tables set. <br/>We had ordered Fries, Peanut Masala and few rounds of Gin and Whiskey. Service was amazing. Staff were quick and courteous. The crowd was good. Not too overcrowded. Young crowd keeps popping in and reminds you of your age. I would surely be back again when possible,

I visited with my Wife and friends on Saturday Evening. <br/><br/>It was a nice place with clam and cozy environment with good taste of music. The open sky sitting is also a option. <br/><br/>A Mug of Beer and glass of Smoked whiskey along with Fish Garlic, Chicken Malai kebab, Chicken Platter was our order and all the dish was so perfectly cooked and served. <br/><br/>Overall a superb evening with friends and wife 👌🏻<br/>

This was my 3rd or 4th visit to Lono and it never disappoints . It was different this time because my family was visiting me in Bangalore and we ordered for a lot of food as opposed to ordering just beers. The burgers are amazing and very good service. Kudos to Prakash, our server.

Quite different Hawaiian themed and really lively with all that plant decor, you feel in middle of nature. I ordered Thai chicken curry which wasn't up to the mark but the staff was curteous enough to change it for chicken breast which was good. Smoking is allowed outside, really good cocktails here. Recommended for dates too

Loved that they are pet friendly. We pet owners really appreciate when bars and pubs allows our fur babies in. Ambience is truly amazing. Service is good. Had a couple of drinks and snacks. Great hangout place for friends. Good experience overall.

This week we decided to go all tropical at the Hawaiian themed resto-pub @lonotropical , Indiranagar. The ambience of the place is really different from the regular gastro pubs in the city, you are surrounded by greenery, almost like you've stepped into an Amazonian world...An apt place to catch up with your friends or office buddies.<br/><br/>The mocktails were few of the best ones we've indulged in i.e. Litchi cooler, Cranberry cooler and their  signature Lono punch. All of them were equally refreshing. In starters, we chose to go with the herb and roast potato, Chilli garlic prawns and Chimichurri Calamari, since the place is specialised for it's Seafood cuisine. My absolute favourite was the Prawns, marinated and cooked to perfection. In the main course, we opted for the Alfredo white sauce Pasta which was exquisite, had the perfect consistency and just the right ratio of sauce and herbs..We would have probably stopped at this but the staff insisted that we try their bestseller Pizzas, well we had to try the Barbecue chicken pizza, and can I say that this one was a Winner all the way? Cheesy, juicy and soo very delish! We ended our meal with their in house baked Red Velvet Cake. Needless to say, it blew our mind away!<br/><br/>Big thanks to Hari Babu and his entire staff at @lonotropical for being so courteous and for your amazing hospitality. Guys, Its a must visit eatery if you are around Indiranagar, Bengaluru...Go check them now for their amazing range of drinks and tropical food!

This is my second visit. N I regret it. Hardly any options. Dnt look at the menu n decide to come. Rate r too much n nothing to order. I did mistake going again thinking it would have changed. Crispy corns wer not crispy at all and Mexican fountain tasted bad. V left the meal half way, paid n left.<br/>I reserved table n after that they made wait for 30 mins to get a table and 20 mins for ordering then 1 hour 12 mins for getting our food and finally bill took 20 mins again. Just a waste of time. Staff is always confused.

They do have a reservation policy but you will not get table before 30 min as they are giving tables to walk-ins people. Very poorly managed service.<br/>I asked one of their staff to clean the table and she said this is not her section and went away.

Rats roaming around. Terrible and rude service. Management is lost. Order takes 45mins. You are asked to pay the bill twice. Indifferent staff. If you want to spend quality time- Skip this place

The food was really nice , the Hawaiian themed interiors were also amazing. The staff was really sweet, our waiter was very courteous , he goes by the name of Mang, very sweet very polite. The best service I’ve received in years.

This place has such a amazing ambience. The chicken and the veg pizza both was amazing. It's a must try.

Visited the place last night and it turned out to be as good as it was looking in the pics. I loved the ambiance which was way different from other pubs/restaurants. The staff was really courteous and food was good. While everything was great, I felt the options for veg are quite less and the it doesn't have a dedicated smoking zone which was making it difficult for us due to constant smoke from the nearby table.<br/><br/>Apart from these two things I guess the place is really great for hanging out with friends and to have a good chat over some snacks or beers.

This would be a great place to hang out during the day to get some work done on your own as well. <br/>Food - 4/5 <br/>Service / attitude - 5/5 <br/>Bob/ Vicky and all the staff that served us were extremely attentive, polite and assisted us. We went to this place as it was not explored, the ambiance is really nice with greenery all round. The place is not very loud, which is what we really liked.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, the food was good, we had variety of starters and everything tasted good. The non veg platter and herb potatoes were the best.<br/><br/>The service was excellent from the time we entered till we left.

Nice ambience decent food courteous staff. These are the hallmark of Lono. Located on 80 feet road Indiranagar, the same place had many names over the years and currently Lono sits in the place. The decor will make a plant lover feel happy. I don’t know why it was so empty though for a Friday lunch? Economics? Food was decent, the staff was helpful. Good mix of veg and non veg food. Good place for an office lunch.

When i walked in, I was super excited because the decor is open and airy! I could envision hosting the next sunday brunch here. But that kind of vanished once we sat down. The menu has a bunch of options from everywhere, not giving you an idea of what the place specializes in.<br/><br/>The food was well presented, but nothing was overly memorable. The steamed fish which was supposed to fragrant with ginger was completely overpowered. The Tandoori mushrooms were good, but not memorable. The drinks (ice tea & virgin mojito) were overly sweet. The only saving grace was the peanut masala which was nice, spicy and tangy.<br/><br/>My biggest problem were the flies. I felt i spent my entire time trying to get rid of them and finally just wanted to leave because I was tired of shooing flies off. Now I am not entirely certain of a solution here, but Bangalore , esp Indiranagar is filled willed with outdoor restaurants and I have not faced this issue anywhere. I think the management really needs to look into this to really elevate the experience!
