Sri Udupi deluxe is a veg restaurant in Basavanagar. It's less than a km distance from old airport main road.
I had been many times because it's near to me. It serves delicious and fresh breakfast items as well lunch / dinner. I ordered masala dosa, khara bath (upma), rava idli and set dosa.
It's exactly at basavanagar bus- stop and has parking area. If you are nearby and like to explore south Indian breakfast dishes, please pay a visit. Inside is clean and have facility to done in and also take away.
I visited again today and ordered some different items such as Mangalore bada, Pongal, masala tea.
Mangalore bada and Pongal were so tasty and fresh. I enjoyed having a hot masala chai with family members.
I recommend people nearby to visit and enjoy delicious foods especially breakfast or snacks and juices or tea.

Food is super amazing. And their Dosa and Puri are a must try.
Only thing wrong is it's self service , you have to go to the counter and wait for your food and then take it by yourself to your table.

Very simple place with simple food. I love Set dosa, curd vada, fresh lime soda. And the butter roti is so soft and fresh. Most of all verg pocket friendly place.

Sitting Space is very less but location is easily accessible by everyone. Parking space also available there. For Food, its greater than average but less than Good. Service is fast but some time they are confused so much in orders.

I visited this place for a quick lunch one day. I had their North Indian Meals. The prices were
reasonable. The meals had a lot of items - tomato soup, chhole curry, daal, mixed veg curry,
pulao, tandoori roti, curd rice, papad, onion salad and gulab jamun. The taste ranged between
average to good for all the dishes. Considering the price, I found it a good deal as the portion
sizes were really good for a heavy lunch.

Best veg restaurant in the vicinity serving some delicious South Indian as well as North Indian delicacies.Dosa varieties with the delicious sambhar n chutney are beyond expectations.Even the chaat ,Pav Bhaji served for evening snacks are the tastiest.Lemon Chai served here is favourite of all.

Super rude manager. I ordered a rava masala dosa today and my husband got a vad pav from adjacent shop. After my husband started eating, the manager asked him not to eat since the food wasn't purchased from his restaurant. The way he spoke was pretty rude. Also not that we bought the cheapest dish just to sit in their restaurant... Its a known fact that Goli vada pav excel in their dish and we both wanted to sit and eat together.<br/><br/>We were OK to eat outside, since Goli would be ok with it...but this manager was rude. He could have stopped us from eating BEFORE my husband started eating or asked us to take care in future, but this looked intentional.<br/><br/>My review is one star for the worst hospitality witnessed from this manager.

This is the worst worst restaurant. Their food is of worst quality. When I ordered Rava Masala Dosa and it came. Then I went and bought vada pav from Goli vada pav from neighboring shop and started eating then he did not allow to eat anything in his restaurant. Neither the outside food nor the food which bought from his restaurant also. He was saying order vada pav from here only but I denied because I already had their worst vadapav earlier and we left. He did not even returned the money which he not allowed to eat there.

Had my worst rice and paneer here. Only thing good here is dosa and idli. Don't even think of ordering anything else. I got 100gms of starch free with my rice!! Horrible

This place is situated near Basavanagar Bus stand and nearby to my place. So, I thought of giving it a try once. It's a self service restaurant with ample space to sit and eat. I had masala dosa and set dosa. The order was prepared in 5-10 minutes. Masala dosa was good but Set dosa was average. The curry served with set dosa was below than average. One can visit this place just for a casual snacks, lunch or dinner.

Nice place to have breakfast here, have tried tandoori roti’s, paneer items, tea/coffee , uttapam, kesari bath, different varieties-of dosa and liked them all. <br/>Place is Hygienic and spacious. Adding a pic - this kind of puri i wanted to eat since long time, finally having it here.. super tasty... will definitely come again for breakfast here.

This is a good veg hotel in Basavanagar , opposite to bus stop. They serve a quality food . The meals and roti items are best. Staff are also polite. One should try their paneer items. It’s total worth for money.

Please avoid this place at all costs..overpriced food , did not find the food worth having for that price. Funny part was these people charged 25 bucks for 50 ml of extra curd. Cashier tried messing up with cash/change. will not think about returning to this place ever.

Its moderately priced but the food is no where near to the authentic Udupi taste you would wanna try out.. towards late morning around 10.30 had brought idlys and the sambhar was pretty diluted.. it tasted like nothing..

Authentic Udupi style breakfast 😋😋😋 gets overcrowded during Peak hours though! May have to wait for getting seats. Looks like they have to expand seating arrangement 😁
