The food was really nice. I tried many restaurants in Bangalore. I would say this restaurant is one of the best. The price is also very reasonable. The food quality and taste was good. The special Shanmukha veg dum biryani is a must try. It's very good and the portion of food was also quite enough. Please make sure you order less in the beginning as you might not be able to complete it fully. This restaurant also accepts swiggy pay where you can get an additional 10 to 20% discount.

The best place for jain clg students to get affordable biriyani options in large quantities and totally love the taste of every single one their Shanmugha special is really good and many other appetizers too are good Loved the experience when visted by friend who are biriyani lovers

Visited this restaurant recently and had a very good experience! The place is maintained very well. The service was very quick and the staff are very attentive. Coming to the food, the starters were the show stoppers for sure! We absolutely loved the fish starters, we had ordered fish chilli and fish pepper fry, the fish was so fresh and soft that it just melts in your mouth. Prawns 65 was pretty great as well. We tried the Chicken Lollipop,shanmukha special chicken, Andhra chicken ghee roast, they tasted great. The shanmukha special boneless biriyani was mild, flavourful,aromatic and tasted great. We had been to Shanmukha Restaurant recently for our team lunch. It's know for authentic Andhra cuisine. Ambience of the restaurant is pretty much ok. But food is more than expected. Have rated the individual dishes below and rated each out of 5 stars. 1. Shanmukha style boneless biryani - Amazing! 5 star 2. Shanmukha style chicken piece biryani - Crazy! 5 star 3. Mutton kheem biryani and prawns biryani - Top class and fantastic! My personal fav. 5 stars. 4. Grill chicken and chilli chicken - Good 3 stars. Overall if you're craving for Hyderabadi Biryani, you should definitely visit this restaurant. One of the best Hyderabadi Biryani restuarants. Lastly, Service should be improved.

Located near JP Nagar Central Mall, this place is famous for it's biryani and I have heard about it multiple times. So finally went there to taste the biriyani and trust me it was mind-blowing. The bisi bisi biriyani made with long grained rice had generous amount of small boneless chicken pieces soaked in the fragrance of masala. The chicken melts in mouth and each mouthful creates a riot on the tastebud. I was also pleasantly surprised to taste their wide array of starters and I recommend the following: Malai kebab, Prawn pepper fry, Lemon chicken, Chicken wings. The ambiance is well-lit and very well decorated. The stuff are courteous and they serve with smile despite heavy rush. Service is surprisingly quick and price is reasonable. Food - 8.5/10 Ambiance - 9.5/10 Service -10/10 VFM- 10/10

Shanmukha Got a chance to visit Shanmukha which is in Jaynagar, and the experience has been very good. Great place to dine. Good food and friendly staff. The service is pretty fast. Lovely ambience and very cozy seating. Coming to food, it was amazing (both in taste and presentation) right from the starters to desserts it was really good. For the starters we had fish chilly and Prawans 65 they were amazing and chicken ghee roast and chicken lollipop which were good. For the main course we had, Shanmukha special biryani, it was one of the best biryani I had in bangalore. Quantity is huge so you can share single regular biryani with three people. Overall it's a nice place to chill out with your loved ones and friends. The food and service are great. The prices are also reasonable, would recommend it if you are near Jaynagar.

Ooh what a place and what amazing food this place serves. I visit this place yesterday and was up for a surprise. They serve many varieties of dishes and that too on a very pocket friendly budget. We ordered various items such as: Lemon chicken Chicken Lollypop Special Chicken wings Prawns 65 Ghee roast Fish pepper fry Everything was great, My favorite were the prawns. After this we had still some space and appetite left for biryani hence we asked for recommendations and ordered there boneless chicken biryani and we were not disappointed. If you want to plan a visit to a restaurant and are confused about it, then this is the place to be. A great place for family and A group of foodies 😊

Also, I must thank the staff who were tirelessly serving us with a smiling face.. You can expect delicious Hyderabadi and North Indian cuisine from their elaborate menu.. We started with the juicy, tender Chicken Malai Kebab. It was so delicious that we wanted to order it twice. Prawn pepper fry: The prawn was fresh and completely coated in spices which created a tingling sensation in our taste buds. Lemon chicken: After many days I had a real good lemon chicken. Boneless chicken was cut into strips and stir fried in a generous amount of lemon sauce with onion and bell pepper. Even the Hariyali paneer was too tempting to handle for your cravings. Special Chicken wings were equally good and rich in flavour. Their special boneless chicken biryani and mutton Keema biryani is the flavour blaster. It's the specialized dish from the menu. The long grain biryani rice was evenly coated with the flavour and spices. You can taste flavourful chicken pieces in almost every bite.. Also, if you want to have roti or naan go ahead with butter chicken. I'm sure you'll be delighted.. Had a great time over here after a really long period.

Visited a few days ago. The restaurant had great good and the atmosphere is also very good. LOVED the boneless chicken biriyani and special mention to the gobi manchiran my favourite here in bangalore. Slightly pricey hut worth it while having a good time with your friends.!

There are many places in Bangalore where you will get biryani but this place Biryani is so delicious and mesmerising. They have varieties of option in veg and non veg biryani as well as in North Indian and Chinese cuisine as well. All food items were too delicious and mouthwatering !! Boneless Chicken biriyani is the best. I have never tasted such tasty biriyani recently. I would recommend to have some of the fresh juices instead of bottled drinks...Hope you take this feedback

Very proper location and a great homely ambience. Perfect for family or friends. Food was excellent. Be it taste or quality. Tried almost all of their chicken and fish starters and i must say it was all so spicy tasty and yum. Again being Andhra cuisine it was not that spicy also.. A must try is the lemon chicken and chili fish.😋😋.. the taste still revolves in my mind. Lastly their boneless biriyani. Nothing new to say about this as its already famous in town. Absolutely delicious. Do try out at this outlet with your gang and don't miss out this amazing biriyani.

They have a long menu that includes almost all Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian curries, starters and breads but biryani rules the roost here Located on the wide alley opposite to the Bangalore central Jp nagar, the restaurant is on floor 1. Ambience is simple and homely. Visited for lunch and ordered the special shanmukha biryani with some non vegetarian starters: murgh malai kabab, chicken ghee roast, drumsticks, lemon chicken, prawn pepper fry and fish chilly Loved the biryani, mildly spiced, well cooked and using the long grain rice, served in iron vessel sufficient for two people. In the starters , my favourite was murgh malai kabab and drumstick They have ample seating and options for vegetarian folks too!

I have ordered a family pack chicken biriyani which was used to be good from this restaurant, but now it is dry, no taste and gravy is like water and no taste at all. Not worth it!

The biryani here used to be very tasty.. but it’s no longer the same. The taste is awful, I ordered family pack for 5 people and half of it is still lying there. Cause nobody wants to finish it since it tasted like crap. Please do not cheat customers like this. There wasn’t even a biryani flavour in that, the rice is only half cooked with no masala at all. It just spoiled my weekend. Will never ever order from here.

I ordered special veg biryani from this restaurant and I got an insect in the food. The Zomato even marked the restaurant as "Hyperpure Inside", while the quality is as shown in the picture. May be the restaurant pays some money to Zomato and it gives whatever certificate the restaurant wants without checking for the quality of food. The way the restaurant treats customers is inexcusable and it's a shame on Zomato to certify that Shanmukha has excellent hygiene

Please improve your service quality. You need to work on it....a lot. Though the food was Amazing but the Wait for food spoiled the fun. Also the behaviour of the waiters should be looked upon. And the worst thing was Zomato Gold invalidity...this was horrible! Total shock.

The issue is with the zomato gold, it was so disappointing. The waiter says he can’t accept the zomato gold membership of other person either den the present customer. This is so unhelpful... which was never done previously. Disappointment with the restaurant and staff!

I'm extremely disappointed and very angry right now as today I got served with fish biryani instead of paneer biryani. I'm a Brahmin and today is an auspicious day of shivratri for me, and I got served fish biryani, I had specifically ordered paneer biryani, I'm extremely disgusted and I feel extremely sad about it. I can't even go to the temple today because of your carelessness and stupidity. I feel like puking now and I'm not able to eat anything, extremely disgusting.

Worst service

I ordered fish and chicken fry piece biryani. It is one of the worst biryani we ever had in our life. Those positives reviews are all fake. This is the first time and last time from this restaurant.

Tried this restaurant after going through Zomato and Google reviews. But had great disappointment after i visited this restaurant. They took 50mins to serve us Veg biryani and 30mins for panner tikka. Taste was average and had difficult time to chew panner ( too hard). Ambiance was not that great. Service is very poor. Only one person available to take order for whole restaurant, people who serve food will not respond for anything. We will have to wait for the person who took order. Very arrogant waiters, not caring about complaints about food. Literally begged for food, waited half hour biryani and cancelled it as it was not received, they are very happy to cancel the order. Not preferred for family.We took Naan and it was cooked properly, kaju masala was like kheer than a curry. tandoori roti was good.

I had ordered family pack biryani however the maniacs there sent rice in a big foil and chicken gravy in a small box the size was like panner cube size. Previously both rice and peices will be together but nowadays they dont know the meaning of what biryani is. I did not order biryani rice and chicken gravy but family pack biryani. If i ask for sandwich would i get bread, cheese and the fillings separetly? Would it not be as one whole food. What a terrible experience that was.
