Review Chung's Pavilion - Bengaluru

Very good in terms of quantity and quality. We had chicken fried rice, Sweet-n-sour Prawn & Chicken Manchurian, all items were delicious. Budget friendly restaurant

The food was fantastic the quantity was also good for 2 people I had the Cantonese PanFried noodles. They were superb. Definitely will recommend this place. The service too was fast and the place was less crowded at I went there at 10 PM. Also note it's a hygienic place with nice staff and a quite place to have food.

Amazing chinese food! Very simple yet sumptuous! If you're craving for chinese, this is a good place to go to! Serving time is quick, serving sizes are good, service is good, and the ambience is perfect for a good meal. The dishes are very close to authentic chinese food.

Fresh and delicious food. Peaceful ambience and great service! Regularly visit this place for comforting food and smiling faces :) Do try the wonton noodle soup!

They have moved from their usual place on 80ft road to 2nd Stage Indiranagar, near Namdharis/Lavonne. Place is smaller than the older one but I guess most are ordering in rather than coming to the restaurant these days. Food quality is still very good...among the few places where they make a good hunan chicken. Ordered the flat noodles and chicken fried rice.. Tasted very nice and quantity is good. They have kept tables as apart as they can.

The only thing needs to be improved is the ambiance. The onion smell was dominant in the ground floor But the food is excellent. Had mixed non veg noodles and Veg American chopsy. Both are tasty. Quantity is very good. One noodles Bowl can be shared by two 😊

One of the best chines restaurant i had ever been Food here delicious and healthy too The food get digested very well Ambience is awesome Prefered highly for dinner People here too polite and make u feel like ur at China 😀

This place serves some delicious Chinese delicacies. The ambience is good, however the air conditioning can be improved. Also they keep the sauces on the table in containers without lids which I feel should be covered lest something falls into it! We ordered Veg Manchow soup, Gobi Manchurian dry, Veg spring rolls & Egg Schezwan Fried Rice. The soup could have tasted better but the starters and main course was delicious. The Gobi Manchurian & Spring rolls were perfectly cooked and the fried rice tasted really good. Also the quantity of the fried rice was more than enough for two people. Good service & value for money!
Sandhya Pai
Small & a cozy restaurant catering delicious Chinese food
Mithun
Excellent tasty food abd very polite behaviour of staff.
Tharun Jagateri
Pocket friendly restaurant that serves decent Chinese food. We ordered one by two manchow soup and shared an egg fried rice which was good quantity for two of us. Kinda small place which could seat 30 people at full capacity. Would recommend for a quick meal.

I was a regular in the old location since 2003. Pork meatball soup... God... Awesome... Tried getting there after many years due to me moving out of Indiranagar, seems like they moved a bit beyond too.. I will get there soon... Food was awesome.. memories were even better... Update: Sadly many of my favorites did not make it to the menu in the new location, food and service remains good.

Good food. Kind staff.

Good food, good service, will visit again

One word: Amazing! The place is very close to Madurai Idli on 80 feet road. The setting feels Chinese with the wall art. I ordered double cooked rice and Buddha's delight Curry (a different name on their menu which I don't remember). The taste was mild and rich - the spices put in right quantities. It felt authentic Chinese unlike Indian Chinese. I would definitely go again and hence the 5 stars. Thank you Chung's. :)
Sunil
For Chinese this is my first choice. If you have any concerns they will address it instantly.Good taste!

Neat ambiance, food was good and so was the service. A very pocket friendly restaurant. Our food we ordered turned out to be bland but the sauces in the side made up for it 😉
Reni Jo
This place serves one of the best Chinese food. We ordered Chicken fried rice and Chicken noodles once and we are still coming back to this place for orders. Worth the money. Never been to the place though, since we ordered thru zomato. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend this place.

Often go here when I start craving Chinese food, absolutely love their pork dishes, as well some veg starters. Ambience is that of a typical Chinese restaurant, well made decor and ambience, the staff is courteous and well behaved
Rishabh Dassani
Really tasty Chinese food and at amazing prices, that too in Indiranagar. This place is tucked away in a quaint corner on 80ft Road, with authentic looking ambience. Service was quick and friendly.
Basabi Ghosh
The pocket friendly all time favorite Chinese place. This place has a 90s vibe with soft music and amaze food. Wantons, clear soup, noodles and chicken. They never fail to give you the best taste and service. I keep going to this place for a relaxed dinner and would recommend everyone to go as well.

Quick tip:- pocket friendly chindian restaurant. Order new things everytime you go.<br/><br/>Chicken manchow soup- very good<br/>Szechuan chicken dry- good quantity sweetish but good<br/>Chicken noodles- good <br/>Chicken Hunan gravy- good<br/>Egg fried rice- good <br/><br/>Portion size is good for the money we pay. Taste wise for an average Chinese restaurant is pretty good..!
Riti Dash
One of the best tasty budget Chinese restaurant. Food is very tasty, and staff is very supportive. Ambiance isn't that good but it's manageable. You will not regret. 😊
Ira Chakraborty
Had ordered for American Chopsey,Chicken Noodles and Chilli pork.<br/>Satisfied with the food but some options like Lung Fung, Wonton etc were not available.<br/>The ambience was good with soft music and chinese interiors but a better light would be preferable..<br/>Overall a good experience!<br/>

I have been visiting this place since 2009 and never have I ever been disappointed with either food or service.<br/><br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Recommended:<br/>Veg Manchow soup<br/>Kowey thio (Malaysian noodles/flat noodles)<br/>Crispy Honey chilli prawns<br/>Golden fried prawns (it comes with a garlic sauce)<br/>Ginger chicken (dry)<br/>Chilli prawns (gravy)<br/>Drunken chicken wings (nice but has a thick batter coating than the actual amount of meat)<br/><br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Polite and suggestive. You can ask for some of the main course items to be dry or semi dry and customise the spice level as well.<br/><br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/>It might look a little shady and unappealing to a new customer. But they play good music.<br/><br/>

Worst crispy Chilli potato ever.<br/>Guys please try to improve your quality.<br/>It's not at all worth for money and not at all crispy.<br/>I ordered from swiggy
Debarata Basu
Coming back here after 8 years. I remembered them to serve nothing exceptional but tasty budget Chinese . But this time around it's really worse than street food. Rubbish food cold and soggy served by equally unsympathetic waiters who boldly told me crispy fried baby corn cannot be made crispy as it is batter fried and not deep fried.. whatever that means!!<br/>The drunken wings were drum sticks made street style red inside out and hot like hell.<br/>The waiters shameless confession "nothing in the menu is crispy" is an insult.<br/>What a massive superlative disappointment.<br/>Never to revisit and a warning to all fellow Chinese food lovers..there are many many many restaurants.. or even the road side stalls.. don't waste your money or gut over this .
Shraddha Bhowad
Where is my gravy?<br/><br/>I ordered Chicken Triple Szechwan Rice and if my past experiences from Chinese eateries tell me correctly, this item comes with Gravy. However, Chungs Pavilion didn't send any. Rice was yum, no complaints on that front, but still, there was a reason why I ordered Triple Szechwan rice instead of the normal one. I wanted to have gravy with rice.<br/><br/>Thus, disappointed.

Chung's Pavilion is more of an emotion to me than a restaurant. My family started going here when we stayed in Domlur in the early 2000's and although we stay in Whitefield now, it's still our go to Chinese restaurant. The quality and quantity of the food has remained the same and the experience has always been amazing. The interiors are simple but provide a sense of comfort and relaxation. The staff are very friendly and prompt. The food is very reasonably priced especially for the large portions they serve.<br/>Our favorites here include:<br/>Wonton soup- A flavourful clear soup with silky smooth wontons with a delicious filling.<br/>Kung Pao Chicken- Succulent chicken with peanuts and vegetables in a flavourful sauce.<br/>Malaysian noodles (Kway Teow) - Perfect flat noodles dish which is perfectly balanced when it comes to taste. The quantity is a lot. Enough for three people at times.<br/>Crispy Schezwan Vegetables- Crispy batter fried veggies served with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce.<br/>This place is a must visit for great Chinese food and it will definitely not burn a hole in your pocket.

if you are looking for ambiance stay away from this place as this place is pretty old(I know it from 6 years but never tried it feeling bad now)<br/>If you are craving for chinese food go for it soup and starters are must try and main course is decent not that great, usually when you compare this place with other chinese places you feel it is little expensive but keeping in mind it is in 80 feet road I feel it is fine
JayR
It really saddens me to give Chung’s 80ft Road this rating, but it had to be done. <br/><br/>Nowhere close to the food of the original Chung Wah on Residency Road, Chung’s Pavilion in Indiranagar 80ft Road was the default option for all at home when it comes to Chinese takeaway. Much before delivery apps even existed. And having been a customer for over a decade, I did notice the decline in the quality of food here circa 2014. <br/><br/>Too much oil, stale sauce served sometimes, rising cost and declining flavour. Not to mention an interior that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Just a few reasons I have stopped going and ordering from there. Maybe this place needs a rebirth. It can be saved if the right practices are put in place. <br/><br/>I don’t want to let go of an old favourite. I have hope.
Manjunath Vasudeva
This restaurant had been there forever now and quite popular amongst the indiranagar residents. I have been dining in and out for over 15 years at least. The staff is pretty friendly and the taste of the food is quite exceptional compared to all the new places serving Chinese cusine. Recently I had ordered in from here and I must say that the quantity has decreased to.almost 30% of what we used get from here . I am talking about starters which wouldn't be sufficient for even one person. Was quite disappointed when I saw an order of chilli prawns dry had 4 prawns in it for Rs.220/- + tax. Even the for chilli paneer as well which came in the exact same quantity..It's a small place but serves some amazing food..just that the competition around is getting the best of them. Hopefully they can recover from this and cater to their customers for what they have been known for. Ultimate customer satisfaction.

So we decided to step out for dinner not knowing where we were gonna end up eating and decided to stop at Chungs pavilion. It was totally worth it, not a very big place but with a good and cozy ambiance. The service is excellent, special thanks to Mr. Rojesh who took care of our table (very sweet and humble). Now coming to the food (finger licking good), we ordered for hot and sour chk soup (amazing), chk steamed momos (good), veg fried rice (authentic and very good) & hot and spicy chk (amazing). The only thing that went wrong was that I got a spoon which was a lil sticky (had to ask for another one) but I shall give it a pass this time and let go. Totally worth it and a must visit. Cheers guys. Great job 😊

Little expensive but food was tasty.Restaurent looks really dull and not much of a crowd.I believe they need to put some more life into it.Good veg options and location wise perfect .
Ritwik Chawla
Needs a lot of improvement in terms of ambiance, food and taste. Ordered Honey Crispy Chilli potato which were less potato..more veggies. I was pretty much frustated to look for potato inside the dish.
Partho Mullick
the veg fried rice was closer to hyderabadi biryani..terrible!
Archi Banerjee
Really wanted to be polite and friendly, unfortunately faced the worst customer service ever. though some preparation was nice, whenever its not they aren't willing to accept it. Hence advised not to visit specially in last hours as they might ending up with nasty argument.

The food sent was spoiled
Rashmi Yellamelli
The ambience of this place is really good. reminds me of the chinese era .i actually thought this was chung wah until I noticed the'wah' missing 😂 my bad! The service was good price really good. my only problem was the food. It wasnt hot and that made it taste bad. but the meat in it was good.
Sayantan Sarkar
The chicken was bad. Potentially rotten as it was smelly. Had to throw it away
Sunita Abraham
Was expecting chilli chicken to be dry.
Nidhin
Everyone I order this because it’s amazingly made. But today surprisingly the dish was made with rotten onions. It killed my appetite. I feel sorry for myself. I had to throw it in the garbage. Thank you
Joey Joseph
Great food.. Excellent delivery
Nikhita
Ordered chicken Malaysian noodles,my all time favourite from Chungs, found it a bit more spicy then other times.
Tanya Onkar
food was spoilt. made me sick.

The Chinese you will get here is good.I specially loved the starter very much.nice place to have chinese food with reasonable rates and offcourse it's very near to the metro station u don't have to travel much...
Mayukhnandi
It's a pocket friendly eatery which serves chinese cuisine. It is very close to the Indiranagar Metro station and a stone throw distance away from CMH road. Compared to the price they charge the quantity is very good and it can be shared by 2 people easily. A good place for people who want to eat good chinese food without burning a hole in the pocket.
Alka Purushotham
I personally love the food here. Everything is just so good. For people who love Chinese cuisine you must try this place at least once. They have a wide variety in their menu and somehow I liked most of what I had here. This place doesn't really focus much on the ambiance but their food does all the talking. I would say most of you wouldn't be disappointed because 1. Food is really good 2. It is pretty reasonable!! P.S. if you don't like to go and eat there... Online orders are always there!!
Roshanjit KarBhowmik
The original Chinese place! I remember visiting this place since as early as 2002 and I am happy to say, nothing has changed. The quality of food and the choice on the menu have matured greatly and the staff still make you welcome!
Shouvik Mukherjee
The most unusual experience I have ever had in a Chinese restaurant. We ordered drunken chicken which describes "Chicken wings with rice wine..". But strangely they provided chicken lollypop instead of wings and one of the waiter argued "Humhare yaha yahi milta hai". Next we ordered Drums of heaven, which was besan coated lollypop pieces and trust me it tasted awful. There is nothing special about this place and strict no for the Chinese cuisine lovers.<br/>Ambience - 3<br/>Service - 1<br/>Food - 2<br/>
Ameet KKatyal
It’s only about the food here - get it home delivered to relish the food!<br/><br/>Casual, day-in-day-out place - the food tastes good though!<br/><br/>Try out their pan fried Chilli fish, drunken chicken, chicken lollipops and veggie spring roll (comes with some free oil smeared on it though 😜).<br/><br/>Overall, rating for the food is good!<br/><br/>Not a place to dine in and enjoy your meal...
Sharlon D Silva
Ordered food home ... They took an hour and half to deliver.. The man who delivered it seemed to care less .. Not apologetic ...absolutely rude. Not worth ordering from here .. Food decent
Sneha
Kind of a trusted neighbourhood chinese place to order from on speed dial.. Chinese here has a pretty balance taste n is not overtly indianised..
Richa Kejriwal
Don't get confused with Treat which is located on the ground floor, while Chung's is on first. Place is small yet well kept. Ambience is like those Tangra Chinese restaurants of Kolkata. We ordered crispy Chilly babycorn, Veg ball Manchurian and Veg noodles. All of the preparations were tasty. The Manchurian gravy was a little bland, however I liked the Veg balls. We also had sweet lime soda, which was refreshing.

I am writing a review after my 3rd visit to this place. The food was so enticing that i couldnt resist myself from writing a review for this restaurant.<br/><br/>We had ordered Chicken Lung Funf soup, Chicken chowmein, Egg fried rice and double cooked chicken. Soup was great and so was the chowmein. Loved both. Double cooked chicken was just fantabulous and pieces of chicken were very soft. Egg fried rice seemed okay, may be because of other tastier dishes.<br/><br/>Overall great place to have chinese food and that too pocket friendly.
Peeyush
Had ordered food home, It took longer than expected. Apart from that, the food was nice. Ordered sweet coen chicken soup and hot and sour chicken soup. Chicken lollipop. In main course, veg fried rice and chilli chicken gravy. The best were hot and sour and chilli chicken.
Royston
A decent Chinese restaurant.<br/>The service was quite good , ambience was decent.<br/>Food: We had ordered soup which was tasty and bit spicy that's what we wanted in main course we ordered two different chicken noodles which was quite decent in taste and the quantity of chicken was quite less overall an average place to have Chinese
Anand Krish
Been going to this place for over a year since moving to TSandra and never once felt hungry after a meal or felt any compromise in quality. Decent place and I haven't finished their menu fully :) best of course is the sweet corn soup and the fried rice..staple diet for a Bach boy :)
Praveen Kumar
The sleaziest Chinese restaurant in town. I asked for a schezwan chicken noodles , they got me the filthiest noodles I have ever had and trust me I have been eating out on a regular basis for quite sometime. Somehow., When I tried to eat that pile of shit I just couldn't take it any more like that so I asked for schezwan sauce and the reply that I got was epic " sir it's against our policy " . Guys who says that to a customer in a Chinese restaurant . I stormed out of that place in no time. <br/><br/>If you ever feel like eating Chinese, consider anything but this outlet.
Trisha
My go to safe place for Chinese..age old..neat mostly and never fallen sick..as far as food is very good..overall never had complained on quality of item nor amount..rightly priced too..
Salil R
Chung's is yet another example of a place where one can have a somewhat inexpensive, and yet filling Chinese (or Indo-Chinese) meal. Our group's standard order was a couple of chicken noodle dishes, supplemented by one or two gravies, and that was usually more than enough.<br/><br/>The ambience reminds me of restaurants in the nineties. On a side note, I am rather picky about where I eat pork, and this is not one of the places where I would be comfortable ordering a pork dish.
Alwyn
Soup was good and full of vegetables, I liked the veg fried rice, however the mix veg manchurian gravy could have been better. <br/>The service was prompt and friendly <br/>The ambience was decent as I was seated on the first floor. <br/>Overall decent dinner and reasonable too.
Aparna Balaji
A pocket friendly Chinese place on 80ft road with okayish ambience and decent food. The soup was good and egg noodles though was served in huge quantity could have had a bit more amount of egg. Good service.
Bonny James
This place needs to revamped.. food is pretty decent but you will fall asleep if you are sitting here, as the interiors are boring.. they are running this restaurant only because there are a few people who visit regularly..that's what I guess.. otherwise you can easily miss this or it is very difficult to find this place, even though it is located on a crowded main road..
Suvro Kanti Chowdhury
We had great expectations from this chinese restaurant, but at the end we were not happy with the food quality. Quantity was decent. Ambience was okay.
RJ Heart N Soul (rjheartnsoul.com)
This is one of those old joints in Indira Nagar with a never say die attitude and a loyal following. I'm not one of those followers as there are now better Indo Chinese restaurants in the area. <br/>But one can never forget the food served here, large in quantity and decent in taste. The ambience is nothing special with old Chinese charm but a bit sprucing up required.
Ankur
It's a restaurant with taste like a roadside vendor. Very oily noodles and bad taste.<br/>Went there just for a change .<br/><br/>I ordered One Schezwan Noodles and veg Manchoorian . Noodles were very oily and no taste of schezwan sauce at all. Even Manchoorian was also okish. <br/><br/>Very bad ambience and food . Will never visit again . <br/>Not recommended to anyone.<br/>Ambience- 1.5/5<br/>Food- 1.5/5<br/>Service-2.5/5<br/><br/><br/>

Quick dinner! Was having craving for some Chinese food so thought to went out in spite of the rains!<br/>Nice little cosy joint with comfortable seating and classic decor having old school charm!<br/>Food was good and above average. Special mention was the Schezwan Pork dry - really nice!<br/>Had a Manchow soup, Chicken steamed momo and then mixed rice with a chilly chicken and Schezwan pork!<br/>Pocket pinch was 1000/- for 2!
Bikash Rajguru
This is the place for a fine dining with a brief menu of excellent Chinese dish. It's not the raw Chinese flavors but the one with a Indian spice. U wont get a lot of varieties to eat but starters and noodles is lip smacking :)
Vismika
A zomato find. One of the best Indo chinese we ate in bangalore. We visited there couple of days back and ordered Veg wontons, Shangai fried rice and chow mein. We were instantly blown away with the taste of wontons, they were so soft, fresh and very flavourful.<br/><br/>Fried rice and noodles had very good taste, perfect spice. Lots of options in menu to choose from. Good options for vegetarians too. And their nimbu soda freshly made, added nice touch to the food. A must visit for indo chinese lovers. Very pocket friendly and we took the left over for next day. It tasted pretty good next day too. Only thing was the noodles was slighly oily.
Mondakranta Saikia
Chung's Pavillion has been saving us many-a-lazy-day from hunger pangs and no food at home situations. All you indiranagar and thippasandra neighborhood belonging folks, you should bookmark this one instantly. The quantities that come with the already affordable price tags are great. Their soups are the stuff comfort food is made of. The taste for all the chowmeins and noodles and fuyongs, are what is in all the indian-chinese joints out there but the service and the ac, is a haven.

Have been eating and ordering for delivery at home since more than a decade. Of late they have become rude the orders place are never delivered on time. Today I ordered food for home delivery 45 mins in advance of my dinner time. When I called them to check I was told it was dispatched. I waited for about 20 mins and called back to enquirer I was told the order is being dispatched now. When I proved further he threatened to cancel it. Never expected this behaviour from them. Sad a nice place treating their old customers this way. Unfortunate to note what success does to people.
Kanika Nirav
No hype. Avg delivery experience, the order taker was kind enough to hear the order patiently unlike other chinese joints who always rush you..<br/>however none of the special requests were honored.<br/>chilli chick dry was useless, prawn starter honey chilli was crap just soggy batter fried prawns with lots of onions and soya, chilli and probably sugar not honey...<br/>Chicken spring rolls were'nt bad, but very small, so the talk and reviews here about portions stands true.<br/>The deep fried chicken (chicken pakodas) were ok and decent but again very small pieces.<br/>Fried rice very oily and average no real taste.<br/>They were friendly and delivery guy was also professional, overall experience was avg.<br/>Chicken manchurian gravy was OK
Glamfood
Having been here a couple of times,I can safely vouch for consistency in the taste and size of the dishes served. Some of the staff could be looking for a refreshers course in hospitality !!??. But all that can be overlooked for the delicious food. :)
Gautham Kumar
A usual chinese restaurant value for money with a usual menu. look out for they quantity, its huge. and one thing I strongly recommend. please try their 'Drums of Heaven' starter. its a true bliss.
Deepu Jacob
A very good place to have chinese food from.Quantity is very good and cost is also reasonable. One of my favourite place to have dinner..
Buddhadeb Sengupta
One of my favorite Chinese Joint. Love going there. Food is very very good and consistent. Just love the food and the service. Not expensive also.
Hrishiraj Ramachandran
I have been eating from Chung's Pavilion for over a decade and it's probably one of my favorite places for Chinese (Indo-Chinese) food. My experience has been consistently great with Chung's Pavilion! They are pocket-friendly and they serve large quantities of good quality Indian inspired Chinese food. <br/><br/>On a separate note, Chinese food can taste quite different at different locations (example Chinese food in the US is quite different from Chinese food in India which is very different from Authentic Chinese food!)
Alan Valerian Rodrigues
Cheap and best restaurant in and around indiranagar. Staff is very polite but slow and do suggest good items on the menu. Definitely would recommended them to pack better during food delivery.  Good interior and very good place to sit. <br/><br/>P.S: If you run out of cash month end do visit this place
Abhishek More
Never order from here.Took 2 hours to deliver 3 soups.Every time i called they said that it will take another 5 mins..........................
Sowmya Shivakumar
Must visit place for Chinese food lovers. My order included an egg fried rice with a garlic mushroom curry(not sure of the exact name). It was too good.A pretty small restaurant with around minimum of 12 tables. But we had wait for almost half an hour to get the table. All in all a good place and some tasty food.
Mustafa
A good experience of Chinese food with an Indian twist as usual. Food is well cooked and served in the normal styles. Nothing grand like the high costing Chinese eatery you get elsewhere. Even home delivery is amazingly fast. <br/><br/>Affordable on the wallet and is a family restaurent. At instances of you being a late walking customer, be ready to have the food served really fast as the staff seem to be in a hurry to shut the shop and I totally understand that given the fact that they operate for 12 hours of more in a day.<br/><br/>I would say the service till date is hygienic and upto my expectations. And ofcourse, do try the soup they have on the menu, that is the best item on the menu and the kitchen.
Ritesh Rathi
Awesome! The best Indianised Chinese in this part of town. Best if you have it there, typical issue with Chinese take aways. The steam chicken rice is amazinggg!
Praneel
Have been to the place couple of times. The taste borders on the real taste of malaysian/thai cuisine. But I was here for "indian-chinese", I wasn't fully satisfied. The quantities are good. Starters - The wanton's disappoint, but the rolls are good. Main course (non-veg) - The noodles are great (chopsey as well as shezwan). However, the fried rice is a bad option (too little flavor).<br/>Quantity - Filling.<br/>Ambience - Not great. Do not think about getting ur date here ;-)<br/>If ur looking for a modestly priced chinese cuisine its worth a try.
Rohanphilip
Im pretty surprised by the reviews on zomato. Chungs is one place that i would not want to visit again. I find the ambience very shabby and the staff here are really rude. Their food is filled with agenomoto, and even if we ask them not to use the same, traces of ageno can be found in the food.
Aditi Parekh
A clean and decent place to go to with delicious Chinese food. The taste of the items we ordered and the quantity was perfect. Light on pocket yet amazing food.
Simran Mohapatra
Satisfying Chinese food. Drums of heaven are a must try. Easy on the pocket. Fast and quick service...there are a lot of exotic Chinese dishes to try as well.
AndroidFreud
Ordered online since I'd ordered some time back in the past and it was standard fare for the price back then. But this time was a disappointment. This has become one of those places that add way too much batter on every thing they serve. Ordered the chicken lollipop only to find a huge cavernous shell of batter which when removed, revealed that they strip all the meat of their chicken and left a tiny morsel of chicken on the bone. Was dripping in oil as well. Would much rather they give a little less number of pieces and actually give chicken when they call it chicken something. Ask them while you order and you'll find that every single thing they serve (almost) is covered in batter for a reason. Only saving grace is their drunken chicken wings (no batter) and being one of the few places that still serve pork. <br/>
Zacharia Ittymani
One of the best Chinese restaurants that I have visited in Blore. Ambience isn't great, but I have to tell - it's very clean. The food is really delicious. The service was good and the wait time was less than 15min. Low budget but definitely a good place to try Chinese. Tried their Mixed schwn fried rice, Hot pepper chicken, Chwmn and soup. Have to say, enjoyed every bit of food from there. A MUST visit place!!
Tanumoy Nandy
This is probably one of the best chinese restaurants, serving so called real chinese in india. The quality of food is really good and gives you a real taste of chinese cuisine. Its somewhat an "under dog restaurant" :p
Aman Gupta
Located above Treat restaurant on 80 feet road of Indiranagar, place is bit difficult to locate. Started with Prawn starter which had fresh and juicy prawns. Had Dan-mein noodles, malaysian noodles for main course and Prawn in Garlic Sauce as side dish and it was definitely a must try especially Malaysian noodles and Prawn in Garlic Sauce.

Update the prices as and when they change. I see one price here and get charged way more upon delivery. Apart from that food is good is great.
Aakash Ahuja
decent enough<br/>food: 3.5/5<br/>ambiance : 3/5<br/>service: 4/5<br/>money : 4.5/5<br/><br/>i found this place for a regular check inn as there is not X factor that u die for but its satisfying enough to end up ur craving<br/><br/>I give 3.5 overall!!
Vivek S
A decent place to have indo Chinese dishes. Light on the pocket. Reasonable ambience. Good service. Food is good especially their Shanghai varieties, soups. Quantity also good for the money you pay.
Sylvia Deivaraj
I have ordered regularly from this particular outlet. Unfortunately, last night I was given a wrong order (specifically ordered for NO GINGER & GARLIC in the dish and it rich in garlic and ginger) and when informed of this, the person on the other end of the phone assured that the correct dish will be delivered. I waited until 10:30 pm (a good 3 hours) for the same and made repeated calls; where I was constantly informed that the order is out for delivery. But, no one turned up. At least, they should have informed that they cannot send out the correct dish. They just lost a regular customer!
Manikanteswer Bagavati
Very good Chinese place , right on the 80feet road , u can miss it very easily , simple ambience , pocket friendly and very tasty food. One of the best spring rolls , yummy veg Manchurian and just one main course dish is enough to serve two people.<br/><br/>Must try - spring rolls

This is a childhood fav . Fond memories of placing takeaways . Having lived around the vicinity of over two decades , I must say it is the most popular restaurant among all my friends. Their garlic prawns totally top our list . Orders are taken swiftly and executed with equal pace . Ideal for a quick dinner or an informal family outing . <br/>Very economical in comparison to other Chinese restaurants . Since I'm away from home , their egg Hakka noodles is always priority when ever I travel back .

I usually order out from Chung's. Their ambience is simple and nice. Nothing exclusive and not bad at all. Their food is quite nice, priced fairly well and I quite enjoy their stuff.

Although I've delayed writing this review by about three weeks, I'd like to say that my first visit to this place was rather unpleasent. Starting with the service, which was deplorable. The boy who took the order needs to tone down a li'l and learn some etiquette (customer service). He had absolutely no idea of what went into the dishes and was outright rude. The mixed vegetable in hot garlic soup was a major disappointment with uncooked cauliflowers and vegetables thrown in. The boy who served us literally slid the plate onto the table saying "you can serve it yourself."<br/><br/>We ordered steamed rice and were made to wait for about 20 mins, after which he returns and says he never placed the order at the kitchen. Furthermore, he goes on to state that I never mentioned rice. Finally, the desserts consisted of half molten cassata that was probably left outside for a while...also, my friend found a strand of hair in his cassata slice. I have shared this experience with many of my friends and frankly, if this is going to be the standard you maintain, then I sure as hell bet that you're going to lose a lot of other customers as well.

When it comes to Indian-Chinese, this is the place to go! The ambience is decent but the food is great. Vegetarians might be a bit disappointed though.

One of my favourite go to chinese restaurants! Love the food! The prices are bound to make sure you have a whole meal<br/>with some leftovers to take home!<br/>My only problem with this place was that the ambience could be a turn off, they could improve in their sanitary conditions..It could be quite unappetising when you look around before you start eating your meal!

Ambience - although its a small place its spacious and comfortable... designed with low lights which is very soothing... 4/5<br/>Food - its not authentic chinese food which is blend and its also not indian style chinese which is spicy... its kind of in between which i liked very much... choupsey here is delicious... 4.5/5<br/>Servicing - order to food on table is very short but sometimes there is no one for serving for second portion which is the only negative point i found in servicing... 4.5/5<br/>Bill - very reasonable 4/5<br/>Delivery - packaging is very good and delivery always on time... 4.5/5

I had such a soft spot for this place, but tonight after their mannerless behaviour I have decided never ever to order from this place again. <br/>I placed an order at 8:00pm with the place and I get called at 8:20pm saying no delivery boy. So I was trying to question them regarding the reason for the sudden change in the status. The person who was communicating with me said there is one but we cannot send. I was little taken aback, by which time his manager took the phone and spoke extremely rudely and said we cannot send to your place and his reason was that the delivery boy was new. So I was trying to request if I meet half way through to pick up the delivery to which he screamed and hung up.<br/><br/>Talk about being extremely unethical and rude.<br/><br/>They have mood swings like the change between night and day and this is not the first time this has happened. <br/><br/>I would strongly recommend that they have a <br/>Manual for manners which they should read.

Ambience was good n food was also kind of ok, wasn't that great.. We specifically called for spicy items bt they weren't that spicy. Service was a little slow though.

A really nice place to try out Chinese food. The ambience is quite nice at the lower floor and okayish in the first floor. The food quality is really good and service is perfect with good staff. Being a lone eater, I just wish they accept the credit card for orders below Rs. 200/-. A must try is their sweet corn soup which is the best so far I have eaten. And believe me I have eaten a lot of those. :)

Bangalore has never been kind to me and as always I catch cold within 2 days of reaching Bangalore. And as always when this happens this calls for a hot and aromatic soup. I head out to the nearest Chinese restaurant to alleviate my cold symptoms. <br/><br/>After a brief search I zeroed in on Chung’s Pavilion. The ambiance is the usual mid scale Chinese restaurants in India. Quite a few seats were occupied when I walked in. I quickly settled in the nearest seat. I placed a quick order for a Manchow soup veg and a chilli tofu. I wanted to try the tofu and mushroom in veg oyster sauce (if at all there could be a veg oyster sauce!). But since I was not in a mood to eat any rice, I did not see the point in ordering just a gravy. So went with the waiter’s suggestion and ordered chilli tofu.<br/><br/>*************************FOOD************************<br/>The soup came quickly. I was surprised to see generous chunks of tofu strewn in the soup. Loved this small but pleasant surprise. The soup tasted quite good and refreshing. The coriander also did its bit to refresh the palate. Just what the doctor ordered! I was hoping that they do not rush in the tofu before I completed the soup. <br/><br/>The chilli tofu looked quite pale in colour compared to the greasy and liberal use of soya sauce I am used to seeing in other Chinese restaurants. Yet it tasted quite good, not the usual over dose of chilli. Again this is the silken tofu which I like very much and was happy to note that they use this variety. <br/><br/>*************************SERVICE*************************<br/><br/>By this time, a steady stream of customers started pouring in and restaurant was quite full. Usually when I am alone I prefer to take a two seater. This way when lot of customers walk in I can avoid being asked to move. But I could not find a two seater, so I occupied one seat in a four seater table. Halfway into my meal a waiter came up and asked to be excused. I turned around expecting what I did not want to hear. He said there are two people waiting. Oh there you go! But surprise surprise. He politely asked me if it is ok if they took the seats opposite to me. I was taken aback and pleasantly surprised. Now if this had happened in any upscale restaurant I would not have been so surprised. Definitely hats off for the small gesture. <br/><br/>Anyway, now I found a good place to have a hearty soup, I am definitely going back here till my cold symptoms are alleviated. Maybe try some of their other dishes as well while I am there!
