Review Kailash Parbat - Bengaluru

Srikanth B S (Sriku)
Quality and taste of the food is good. But it is too expensive, however I have also seen people waiting outside to get a table. You can rather visit a 3star hotel for that pricing and better ambience. We had been there at 8PM and Dhai puri was not available which is the most liked dish by everyone. They should have managed the puri stock well.
Adil Shariff
Great north indian chat place. We ordered Chole Bhature ,Bombay Vada pav, Pani puri, kp chat platter and Mango lassi. Everything was spot on. Washrooms were a bit messy. Very tasty street style food in a good ambience. The bhature were nice round and fluffy.
Roshan Bengani
The food and Service is good, especially staffs are polite and serves you well. The atmosphere is clumsy but the ambience is good and portrays the Mumbai Theme. One of the oldest restaurants started in 1952. Specialist in Chaats and North Indian dishes you can definitely give a try. Avoid weekends as they have a long waiting queue of minimum 20-30 minutes. Recommended for fine dining with family and friends.

Visited kailash parbat for lunch. The ambiance is good clean. When I visited the place was not overcrowded. The prices are slightly expensive. But the food is delicious. Chats is a must try here. We tried the chat platter which was delicious. Got to taste many chats in one place. Sufficient for two people. The place also has valet service, also one has option to park two wheelers in adjacent roads. There is also meal options available during weekdays.
Santosh Gorantla
Nice place for good North Indian food in and around Jayanagar area. Felt little expensive, but ambience, quality and presentation is excellent. Food here has been tasty and good as always. Weekends would have waiting, but weekdays it’s easier to get seats. We tried Roti, paneer and veg kofta curry during our recent visit and everything was good here.
AMIT KUMAR
Excellent food quality. Ordered chat platter, mango lassi, Gobi Manchurian, kebab, roti and paneer lababdar. Amazing taste. Very good ambience. Quick service.
Sanjana Shivashankar
A good family restaurant in jayanagar. Very hygienic and clean. Decent ambience. The taste of the food also really good. The service can be improved a bit but other than that a really nice place to eat the best North Indian dishes and chaats.
Meghaa jain
This cozy restaurant has left the best impression on us. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. Also serves jain food (without onion and garlic). Fine dime-in option. It gives a family-restaurant vibes. Great experience.

I rarely give restaurants 5⭐s. But, the chats in this place were just heavenly. The portion size was perfect for what they charged. We had tried papdi chat, chat platter, dahi Puri, bhel Puri, tikki chat, strawberry virgin mojito, coriander soup and kulfi with rabadi. The food was excellent, perfect taste. No garlic whatsoever. The staff was very kind and gentle. They made sure that all of our needs were attended to. Parking may be an issue but it's a must visit.

Yesterday night for the first time visited this restaurant. Only North Indian dishes are available. The ambience is awesome. Service is too good. Taste of few items also good. We took Cholebathure, Pav Bhaji, K.P.Flatter. Cholebathure not that much tasty, especially in chole little more gravy was required and the Kabuli Chana was required to be cooked some more. Prices too on higher side. But restaurant is maintained very neatly.

Good place to have chats and North indian dishes. Crowded place. Wheelchair access is not there. Parking is a problem. People will have to wait. Reservation in advance is recommended. Service is good. 50+ guests can be seated at a time. Very tasty food. Expensive. Washrooms are available. Usually there's a wait before getting the table. Situated in the corner of the road, busy area.
Rishabh DA
Chat platter was too spicy inspite of informing them to add less spice, after complaining got a different set. These small things must be taken care. Otherwise the restaurant is clean, well maintained, crowdy and responsive staff.

If you are missing the authentic Mumbai Pav Bhaji or Chaat this is the perfect place..! Mumbaikars staying in Bengaluru this is your Paradise...!

Food is definitely a bit expensive but worth every penny u pay..... Top notch ! I am a north Indian and was extremely delighted to find this restaurant which serve the food with the essence of north india intact .... Didn't feel like I was having my favourite dishes in South India, it felt native wala good... And plus the spice level for a north indian is. Just. Perfect!

A must try family restaurant

To start with, the location on the Google maps is wrong at the time of writing of this review but when opened through Zomato it points to the correct place. I have given 3 stars only and only for the food which was decent enough. But the service was way too fast, so fast that it felt like they didn't want us in the restaurant for more than 15 minutes. There was no gap given between the servings, putting thing after thing on the table even when there was no space. They started serving main course even before starters were served and presented the bill even before all the food items were served. In one instance the plate was taken off the table while someone was still eating from it. Someone in a hurry to catch a train would have loved the super duper quick service, but it felt much more like pestering which ruined a family's day out. And the time we went in was around 8:30, so it wasn't as if they were gonna close soon. Visit at your own risk and time.

Food delivered was extremely spicy, all of us had bad stomach after eating the food.  This was such a contrast to the experience we had in the restaurant.

Food:3.5/5<br/>Ambiance:4/5<br/>Service:0/5<br/><br/>Extremely shiet place!!! Would never come back , they made us wait literally for an hour ! Have absolutely nothing regarding customer service , was very poorly handled whilst the manager was in his own world. <br/><br/>Their food was descent though but again quantity was bad

I visited Kailash Parbat couple of months ago. It was recommended by a school friend. I loved the look and feel. IT was well lit in the afternoon. Yummy food. I didn't think it was pricey.

The food was just fine, not good not bad. We had pav Bhajji and gobi machurian to start, the pav bhaji was very normal(homely) but the gobi was very well made and the best dish we had. We ordered daal makhni and roti for main course, and it was also very standard, we expected a lot from the daal. To end the meal we ordered Gulab jamun, it tasted really good. We had heard a lot about this place but it wasn’t up to mark.

I ordered dum biryani & Paneer kadai. As its home delivery I can't comment on their service speed etc. So here are below points from me- 1. Items are pretty costly, but the quantity doesn't justify that cost. 2. The biryani was spicy, though I couldn't spot chillies as such. Gave me a burning sensation in my tummy even much later 3. Kadai Paneer was also strong in its masala. The smell lingered in till much later & I didn't like it. 4. They sent a papad along with food which was sweet. Overall I didn't like the food. My folks did though

Lovely food. Good service by Jetu. Thanks guys. Spent lovely Sunday evening with family.

What a find! Awesome place for food totally.<br/><br/>We mainly feasted on the chats. The dishes took hardly 10min from ordering to delivery on table! Stellar.<br/><br/>Every chat dish was amazing. Coming from Bombay, that taste did satisfy our need. The chats had the right level of spice and were lip smacking. Mango lassi was thick and very rich in flavour.<br/><br/>Special call out for Bombay BHEL, KP Chat Platter, Dabeli, Tandoori Momos, Mango lassi.
Chetan Chougale
Not upto our expectations . Can't really recommend it.
Chinmayi Ravichandir
Good ambience and tasty food. The presentation of the food is very likeable. My only suggestion is for the restaurant to accept table booking as there is a 30 min wait on weekends.
Shalini
I’m at the place right now and we ordered 3 chaats. Horrible is what’ I’d begin to call this. No flavour, no salt. They’ve put all of Bangalore’s tamarind in the chaats they served us. Never, ever coming back here. 1 star is also too much for this place.
TK Venkatesh
Great place but limited seating so be prepared to wait... food is good, but service can be improved...
Vibhor Jain
Really oily food. Nothing great.
Foodizs
I don’t think this place needs introduction, a well know restaurant in Jayanagar for its great taste of food. Ambiance is decent and well taught.. the food is delicious when it comes to quantity and quality it’s spot on. So is the presentation. Apt quantity for good price. This place is well know around the world as well, they serve Indian food with a twist and good pizza and other dishes.. only drawback was some of the dishes weren’t available..
Niranjan Umesh
Food was good.. but service was bad.. the service guys kept asking for bill rather than taking orders.. we were 15 people ( Family ) .. the service guys wanted us to pack off fast so that they can accommodate the other guest
Pratik Gala
They don't have something called commitment, they don't know how to talk properly to the customers and are really unethical. Don't ever visit this place and no co-ordination at all had the worst night ever!
Roshni Arun
The place is quite huge and is located in Jayanagar. Loved the ambience. Service is courteous. Went here with my mom, for a quick snack. Tried their Lokhandwala Wrap. It was quite filling and tasted delicious! Loved the presentation too. Will definitely go back for the chats! However, the pricing is quite on the higher side!
Sri Vatsa
This is a place with very nice ambiance. The food is tasty as well but a little on the expensive side. Their menu is more of Mumbai based snacks.
Reshmi AR
Went here with a bunch of friends for lunch. Sampled masala papad, chat platter, paneer tikka and mushroom which for starters which were finger-licking good. We even had lemon coriander soup but didn't like it much. Tawa pulao and particularly the raita was good. A place worth trying If you are around the 3rd block area in Jayanagar.<br/>Here goes my rating.<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Value for money: 3.5/5<br/>Service:4/5

Kailash Parbat has been doing a great job in serving some great foods.<br/><br/>Their restaurant gets crowded on weekends which makes it difficult for the customers until a table has been given.<br/><br/>I started with their Chats platter. The platter had crispy corn basket, bhel puri, dahi vada and tikki puri. It was savory, I loved the tikki puri the most.<br/><br/>Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji and Mixed Stuffed Parathas were all good. <br/><br/>The mango lassi was tasty. I loved all the food items and looking forward to visit them again.

One of the best chats in Bangalore is available at Kailash Parbat. The Pani Puri is just amazing . The Pani is a bit spicy but it's absolutely delicious. The sev Puri is really good. The Dahi Puri is absolutely amazing. Nice Ambience. The stand out is still the Pani Puri.
Mitesh Jain
It’s a beautiful place to hangout with family .. Service is quick enough .. It’s a Bombay based hotel may b as it serves variety of Bombay chats .. The tastes are amazing .. Do try the bambaya bhel panner lababdar .. Only change can be done is hot Jamoon is served with hot rabdi. I would suggest rabdi to b cold enough so the combination gets well

Food - 4.5/5<br/>Service - 5/5<br/>Ambiance - 4/5<br/>VFM - 3.5/5<br/><br/>I've to Kailash Parbat earlier in Dubai, trust me when I say it, this one is better in my opinion.<br/><br/>The Service was very quick and prompt. They were very helpful in choosing what to order to our liking.<br/><br/>I had,<br/><br/>Kailash Parbat Chat platter - Great combination of chats with a nice tangy, sweet and savoury flavors.<br/><br/>Dal Makhani - A very rich, creamy and flavorful dal just as how a dal Makhani is meant to be. Must try.<br/><br/>Paneer Tikka Lababdar - A flavorful, creamy sauce with very soft panner. A must try dish.<br/><br/>Overall, other than the peak hour rushes a great experience. 11/10 recommend this place!<br/>

An excellent place for some mouth-watering chaats. The chaat platter is delicious, although slightly more in quantity. Ragda Pattice was also tasty. Rounded off a nice meal with a guava mocktail.
Vidya Vastare
We had been here for lunch to try their awesome chaats. The pure bombay style chaats were very yummy and tasty. Pav bhaji papdi chat bhel everything was good. The presentation was very appealing. I thought its a bit expensive for chaats but the experience itself was very good. Might go again depending on my budget.
Athira Jagadeesh
Pani Puris like the ones you get in Amchi Mumbai. Excellent presentation right out of MasterChef . Heavenly mango lassi. Lovely music, friendly service and a peaceful ambience.
Mahesh PaoliniSubramanya
Food's good, but boy, does it get loud in here!<br/>So yeah, the food is really quite good. Mind you, some of it can get "interesting" - e.g., the "cheese bombs" are basically large hunks of cheese with a bit of naan wrapped around them - Good, but gets very old very fast, but hey, that's ok, points for trying.<br/>The downside here is that the acoustics are ... bad. One group of people talking is sufficient to echo back and forth across the entire room to the point that *you* have to get loud, which results in more noise, etc. etc....

Kailash Parbat, that has multiple branches across the world and is known for its variety of vegetarian food is a pretty good place to eat any time of the day. Starters are good especially pav bhaji, lemon soda served in ancient soda bottle with marble brings lots of childhood memories. Main course is good as well with range of dishes to choose from, overall taste is above average but can go an extra mile,<br/><br/>My report card<br/>Price – 6/10<br/>Taste – 7/10<br/>Portion size - 8/10<br/>Service – 6/10<br/>Ambiance – 6/10<br/>Cleanliness - 8/10<br/>Value for money – 7/10<br/>Will I go back – Absolutely
Fun With Food
Very beautifully lit, decent North Indian food options. Chats are good, the size of bhature make you mouth water, always buzzing kailash parbat is a food option for North Indian for vegetarians.. Does has some Chinese and Maharashtraian option too.. I am yet to try those though
Megha
Good ambience, helpful staff. <br/>I found the food to be average. <br/>I tried the pav bhaji, pani puri and the chat platter and all of them very average, however the pani puri’s puri was oily and the bhel puri was super sweet.
Varun Lakshman
Had some chats. Average ambience, average taste. Bit pricey for what they offer. Their presentation is innovative though. Staff need to be more attentive. Better options are available in jayanagar.

Really good ambience.....As a foodie would love visiting this place again and again for the food....<br/>Vada pav and Patiala lassi are my personal favourite

After hearing it from many people, I finally decided to visit this place. But I was not very satisfied with the food here. The interiors is done well. We got to order mostly chats but most of which failed to give a proper taste. Mostly I was very disappointed with the pav bhaji so much so that I started eating only the pav later on. Pani puri also was not upto the mark which I had the most expectation on. The vada pav had too much of salt and tangy taste and the quantity was very big. And the last one was the Tawa pulaov which was not what we expected and was very spicy. The best of the all food was the corn basket chat and chat platter ( too big for one person). We also tried veg fried rice which was quite good. Yummiest of all was the sweet lassi. No comments on the jamoon ( too sweet actually). But the good thing was the service here and fast compared to the crowd. <br/><br/>Food - 3/5<br/>Ambience - 3.5/5<br/>Service - 4/5

Well I am fan of Kailash parbat in Chennai but this one needs lot of improvement. Puri was crispy but had the oil smell , dabeli was oily and dry and please don’t order the crispy vegetable they ain’t any vegetables in it . Biryani was Gud and u can try their chart platter .

From a roadside Halwai to one of the most famous eateries in Mumbai. In 1940s the Mulchandani brothers sold Pani Puri in Bans road in Karachi and their products had become British India preferred. Partition saw the Mulchandanis to India - leaving behind valuables in favour of utensils they used to make Pani Puri & Ragada they landed in Bombay.<br/><br/>Kailash Parbat, Bombay was born in 1952.<br/><br/>Since then, Kailash Parbat has grown immensely in popularity - a regular favourite amongst people of all ages.<br/><br/>I tasted some of the recommended dishes from the menu<br/>• Fresh Lime Soda - Served in actual Goli Soda Bottle, which was really interesting.<br/><br/>• Mango & Fennel Lassi - One of unique Mango Lassi I tasted. It was served in mini milk can shaped glass.<br/><br/>• Namkeen Pink Peru - Guava juice served in a glass where glass topped with Chilli Powder & Salt.<br/><br/>• Paneer Tikka Mastani - Spicy Paneer Tikka, which tasted really authentic in taste.<br/><br/>• Kofta E Dilbar - Kofta stuffed with Vegetables & tossed with secret spices gravy. It was a perfect combination with breads.

We hoped this will be very good place for Chat but to our surprise they serve very average chats. I am not sure if they have hired right cook as they serve most of the items cold not hot whether it’s aloo Tikki or pav bhaji. Manager is bit unresponsive too. Overall not much like this place.
Ganesh Sundarkumar
We visited on 11th May while searching for good chat destination. Placed order of Aaloo tikki and pav bhaji. I must appreciate they have very good menu but tikki was not hot and pav bhaji was average as per the price. Services are slow and staff looks to be unprofessional. Overall its very average experience.<br/>"Naam bada aur Darshan chhote"

Perfect place for family dineout on holidays or any day of the week. They serve delicious North Indian food and chats. Few of the must try dishes are pav bhaji, tokri chat and their deserts are also perfect end to your meals. Service is average rated, they need to improve a bit since few of the staffs are negligent and place is very crowded over the weekend so guys you must have to wait for 30-45 mins so plan accordingly.
Ankita Kuila
Kailash Parbat has a found a new found love from the folks in Bangalore - with its new chain opening in Jayanagar, our neighbors & friends couldn't stop talking how good the North Indian food is here.
Yogitha Kaushik
Small place in Jayanagar. There was a big queue to enter the place, but it was worth it. Bhel Puri was very good and pav bhaji was excellent. Would recommend if interested in high end chaats and north Indian food. Desserts are not worth it
Greeshma Greece
visited here cause it was a Veg resto...And Wanted to have their chats....Well....Not that great...Pani puri was very bad . . . Pav bajji was avg . The curry was cold n not hot....Bel puri was good....And yea...The rates are very expensive !!!!

Since 1952 and spread all over India and out of India too !!<br/>Had gone on a Sunday evening for dinner, called up for reservation but was told not possible!! <br/>Had to wait for more than 30 minutes out on the roads!!<br/>Good ambience, fast service and a very unique menu, makes this place popular.<br/>Felt the quantity to be too less compared to the heavy pricing, yes but surely worth a visit;)<br/>
Vivek Gopal
A lovely place in Jayanagar for some great chats. With ambience which is no less than a star hotel, this place is definitely going to be an experience in its own. With options ranging from chats to pizzas, this place had a good spread in its menu. I loved the presentation of food in particular. <br/>Coming to taste, I liked pav bhaji and Sev puri. Pav bhaji had the exact spices, unlike most other places which make the bhaji very spicy. Sev puri was crispy and fresh. I did order Pani puri, but the pani dint taste so great. Service was great too. Overall, an amazing dine in experience. <br/>Having said all these, the pricing is on a higher side as well. But worth the price for the experience.
Justabangaloregirl
Very tasty good, especially chats different states of chats are available in this restaurant and food servings is very unique and for vegetarian it’s a good place and weekends so crowded,we should wait for 30mins to take the table
Eshwar B Iyer
You can try it for novelty but nothing great. One time visit. Though the chats were fresh, it too spicy and cold. The ambience is good but the food doesn't really stand out. There are many more north Indian outlets which serve better chats but none of them can even come close to the actual 'street' food that you get in the bylanes of the city. Lastly, they need to improve their service which is inconsistent.

Been to this place today with family. The drink tamarind zing..Was OK. We ordered panipuri next which came with a loooong strand of hair..... eeeew...Disgusting. the waiter was totally unapologetic....Just took away and got a replacement. Worst was the steward or manager didn't turn up. Could have made a noise....But refrained from it. Food was just there and can improve...the place and people need some manners, etiquette etc.. overall a bad experience considering the place , location and cosy interiors. Pull up guys.....Else u lose

Visited the place today with my family. We ordered a ragada Pattice, Batura Platter and Papdi chat. We found an inch long WIRE in the channa given with Ragada Pattice. Thankfully we did not swallow it. The staff were neither shocked nor surprised and carried on as if it was business as usual.<br/><br/>We had to insist that we don't pay for the ragada Pattice that we hardly ate anyway.<br/><br/>I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!<br/>
Rishabh
This place deserves zero rating. Worst of the worst. Bad staff. Rude manager. Horrible service. Ordered 6 items and all 6 were given at the same time. No taste. Really expensive for the quality and ambience
Rahul Sk
Best place in Bangalore to have delicious food.Starters and beverages are good, main course is not appreciable but worth the price.<br/>Chats are not at all good and value for the price.<br/>Plea to the restaurant,<br/>Provide online or third-party table reservation facility.
Rachana
One of the very few places in South Bangalore with authentic chats which are made in healthy and clean environment and also which are very tasty.<br/>Recommend everyone to do visit this place. But weekend s are very crowded we waited for 45 minutes but was totally worth it.<br/>Authentic, tasty and great ambience.
Manaswitha
Food is good. 3 star<br/>Ambience is good. 4 star<br/>Question to the management.. how come none of your staff speak Kannada. They insist on speaking only Hindi?
THARUN KUMAR
Food is good, ambience is good, but very chaotic atmosphere and last but not the least the quantity given is very very less for the price they charge.
Aarushi Sinha
I was craving for a thali, and i came across this.<br/><br/>I was skeptical , since i have had bad experinces with food court thalis.<br/><br/>To my surprise , this was actually good.<br/><br/>Chole, dal makhni, naan, raita, everything was good. Not great though.<br/><br/>Also they have a wide variety to choose from, not just thalis.
Sukruthi
Basically this place is for chaats, menu is very limited. Very high rates and less quantity is being served. Though the menu is limited about 85% of it is only panner. On whole a average and unworthy place.<br/>
Avanthika Chaithanya
Had been here for evening snacks today. A really elegant place with nice seating and music. We had the papdi chaat and the Pav bhaji platter. The presentation was good. Food was yummy and the bhaji was well made. The refresher towelette at the end of the meal was a nice touch. Prices are a little steep and expensive but that’s okay for the quantity. Servers can be a little more attentive. Will visit again!
Aruna
This place is as expensive as a 5 star hotel n the quantity they serve compared to that is vry low.good presentation and taste wasnt bad either but not worththe money
Mansi Puranik
Extremely expensive and the food is definetly not worth the amount.<br/>Taste - 3<br/>Ambience - 3<br/>If you are willing to have tasty food after a hectic day then please do not go here , it might spoil your entire mood

Kailash parbat located near southend circle is a very good place for pure vegetarian people ! The place is little small but the food is just out of the world! Things to have there - PANEER TIKKA , CORN BASKET, PANEER LABADAR & at the CHOCO BROWNIE! The restaurant is very hygienic neat and clean ! The staff are also very well trained

Visited this place in a fluke. Looked amazing from outside. But it was a great example of one of old Hindi proverb " Ucchi dukaan phiki pakwaan" meaning shop looked enticing however experience was disappointing.<br/>Food was spicy, over priced and poor service. For a basic thing like chutney had to ask multiple times. Presentation was the only good thing.
Sam
Great place to dine good food to start with... The only problem is waiting time to get a place there... Need to make it big now the one in jaynagar
Nikhil Honnoor
Visited the restaurant today on the very special occasion of my Matashri’s birthday. She wished to eat chaats and chatpata khaana. Hence we arrived at KB at Jayanagar at around 1:30pm. It had a decent crowd for a weekday. <br/>I loved the ambiance. It was not too overdone n neither too blunt. It was just perfect. So we were served water and our order was taken. <br/>In the first half of the order, we had the Kotimbir Vadi, Chaat platter n Veg manchurian. The Kotimbir Vadi was delicious, very well prepared, cube shaped, optimum fried on all sides with a chutney sider. The chaat platter was also delicious. It had all types of chaats on one big platter. The Veg manchurian was the one that was just OK. We were full by now.<br/>In the second half of the order, we had the Malai Rabadi n Desi Kala Khatta. Malai Rabadi was yummilicious n the Kala khatta was chill n refreshing.<br/>FOOD - 4/5<br/>AMBIANCE - 5/5<br/>SERVICE - 5/5<br/>PRESENTATION - 5/5<br/>PRICE - 5/5<br/>All-in-all an awesome n tasty experience. Will surely go back for more.

Visited on Sunday. Interior is good and seating is comfortable. we ordered Chat platter that was good and Punjabi pizza that was ok ok I felt cheese was less. Service was good and polite staff.<br/><br/>Will visit again.
Shreya Talpady
Agreed it’s a good place for chats but these guys need to really improve their service. Today we ordered Ragda Pattice. The pattice was stale and the ragda was not fresh either. The pav for the vada pav was sour. Of course it’s not a cheap place to eat but given the quality of the food, it’s just not worth it.
Harsh
I loved the food, very courteous staff. The only thing I dint like is , the environment is too noisy... !! If something can be done about it, it would be great !!

A Mumbai based restaurant chain which 6 branches in Bangalore and they have recently opened this Jayanagar branch which has a pretty decent ambiance and some yummy food offerings attached to it. This restaurant chain is known for Maharashtrian/ Mumbai based street food and some South Indian, Chinese and North Indian food offerings. <br/><br/>Mixed Paneer Tikka:<br/>I had this mixed Paneer Tikka (2 types) which has 2 varieties of Paneer tikkas one is spicy orange and other one is green, in which the Paneer was so soft and thick and tasted awesome with green chutney along with some tasty onion rings.<br/><br/>KP Chart Platter:<br/>This Chart platter was my favourite, which has a whole lot of yummy snacks part of it some of them I could remember is the Dahi Wada, Bhel Puri, Sev Puri and sweet corn basket. All of these food items made the platter perfect, delicious and the quantity was too good make your tummy full.<br/><br/>I would be happy visit this restaurant again and again in the future to taste their other mouth watering food offerings. I would recommend people go here to this restaurant with their friends, family and corporate colleagues to make most of this restaurant.<br/><br/>Overall Ratings:<br/>Food : 5/5<br/>Ambiance : 4/5<br/>Affordability : 3/5<br/>Cleanliness : 4/5<br/>Hotel Parking Area : 4/5

Kailash Parbat is a new Maharashtrian outlet which is opened in 3rd block Jayanagar, serving some of the good Maharashtrian and North Indian dishes.<br/><br/>Located on the Diagonal Road in 3rd Block Jayanagar, this restaurant has great visibility from the road as the from the main road. The ambience is good, with brightly lit interiors and huge long glass facades. The only thing which I feel lacking is the large setting capacity the restaurant requires.<br/><br/>Coming to the food , tried their stuffed mushroom starter, the portion size was quite big and the taste to was pretty good, the presentation of the page bhaji was really good, neatly diced onions and bhaji were to good. But the restaurant just gives you a single pav instead of a set of two when extra pav is requested. I tasted one of the best lemon ice teas in South Bangalore.<br/><br/>Highlight of this restaurant are their Bombay style snacks and mains. Apart from that we tried the Farm House Pizza, this is one of the most Indianised pizza I have ever had which took me down my memory lane and reminded me of the pizza my Mom used to cook at home.<br/><br/>Tasted pretty good and loaded with pretty much Indian veggies.<br/><br/>Overall the experience here was pretty good and it's a nice addition to the growing restaurant collection at Jayanagar.<br/><br/>Taste-4.5/5<br/>Ambience-4/5<br/>Price-3/5<br/>Quality-5/5<br/>Quantity-4/5<br/><br/>The only issue I faced here was their little absent minded staff which, as in my order was not registered the first time I asked for it.<br/><br/>Worth it ? - Yes, the Pav Bhaji and Ragada Pattice are pretty good.<br/><br/>Whether I would visit them again? - Yes, definitely!
Raghavendra Raju
Very unfriendly staff, no proper training, they don’t know how to take orders, they don’t know how to split bills. The place was good, food was also good. But extremely bad staffing
Praveen Ganjam
Excellent food, clean ambiance and good service.<br/><br/>The best chaats I have had in sometime.<br/><br/>The Bombay bhel is excellent (slightly sweet ). <br/>The pain poori looks heavenly. The tiki chaat was amazing.<br/><br/>Jayanagar lacked a good chaats joint and this closes that gap.<br/><br/>Priced slightly higher but totally worth it.<br/>

Food: Good taste. <br/>Ambience: Nice ambiance and feel. <br/>Service:Very poor. There are so many waiters but seems very few chefs.  We went there on sunday evening and each item was taking around 10-15 min.<br/>Price:Pretty expensive for chaats.

Taste: Chats are very yummy. However, we had ordered Chole Bature and Tawa Pulao. The taste of the same was not upto the mark.<br/>Price: Expensive especially the chats <br/>Ambience: Good <br/>Service: We ordered three dishes and they served all of them at once irrespective of mentioning the same to them. However, they were friendly.<br/>Location: Heart of the city and easy commute.<br/>Visit again? Probably only for chats .

This is a nice place. Good ambience and located in the heart of the city is a plus. The food wasn't to my expectation and it is overly priced, specially the chaats. But a nice place overall.

Had a very mixed experience -<br/>ambience - 4.5/5<br/>food -4/5<br/>service 2.5/5<br/>price -very expensive<br/><br/>Here goes - went there in the evening for some chaat, not much crowd, we were given a corner table, menus to check and then they disappeared -all of the service staff seemed to be busy on their phones or whatever else and despite trying to catch their attention, we failed to to do so before having to actually call out! This happened during the entire evening - very bad level!! Did tell the serving staff -after which it was slightly better!!<br/><br/>The food -we had a allu tikki and expected a hot dish bt got  yogurt based cold one- wish it had been mentioned - (a cold winter evening and a cold dish brrrr) but due credit - it was tasty<br/><br/>Panippuri - was also tasty though i may go back to my gadi wala panipuri wala for the hot and cold taste!<br/><br/>Paav bhaji - tasty<br/><br/>Price - very overpriced -  for a evening of chaat!! so basically it is fine dining for chaat, for the plating and the sit down!!<br/><br/>will go back another time ,lets see if service has improved, pricing reasonable for the other dishes!

It's an amazing place, food here is just beyond words. It's a family friendly place. But it's quiet small and becomes fussy once many people are in the place. Overall it's a beautiful place
