4 of us visited Soo Ra Sang, and chose the live grill table so that we could do it ourselves. We ordered 3 portions, 2 of Beef and 1 of Pork.

It was definitely tasty and flavourful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was slightly chilly in Bangalore that night, and they served us complimentary apple cinnamon tea that made us feel all warm and fuzzy after the meal, and seemed to help with digestion.

I would definitely say it is overpriced, and so if it was brought down by a little, one could think of repeat trips to Soo Ra Sang.

The restaurant itself is on a 4th floor rooftop, and so in case the elevator isn't working, it's definitely a workout to get up and down.

I went by cab, but if you're looking to take your own vehicle, there is no dedicated place to park.

2019-This place has the barbecue set up just like how it’s in S. Korean restaurant so you get an authentic feel. The owner and the servers are friendly and courteous. They have multiple tvs which plays Korean songs and dramas, so you get the proper ambience vibes. Their food is tasty and cheesecake is to die for. It’s the best cheesecake I ever had. Just that the Soju and the dishes are a bit overpriced so if you’re planning a proper dinner be sure to spend a lot. Apart from the prices, everything else is just awesome. I’m waiting to go back to this place again.

This place is a gem for Korean food lovers. From my limited experience, the only authentic Korean place that I went in India before this one, was Origami in Mumbai. The ambience is ok, the service is awesome and the food is excellent! The owner lady was super sweet and courteous with us. We ordered all the pork and beef barbecues, it was mind blowing with the side dishes. After that, pork bibimbap and green chilli fried pork bulgogi. These were out of this world. The prawn seafood dish was not that great compared to the pork ones. The cheesecake and cinnamon tea again was to die for. If you go open minded and ready to explore, the food here imo, is worth every penny!

This is one of the few Korean restaurants in Bangalore and the  interest for this cuisine seems to be increasing.
The place has changed locations a couple of times and is now in a weird building on Indiranagar double road. Parking could be an issue though if luck is on your side you would find a place in the lanes.

Chicken is not largely authentic Korean and the Korean items on the menu might be to satiate Indian tastes.

The restaurant is on the top floor of an Oyo place which gives weird vibes. The elevator was not working both times I was there and one had to climb up 4 flight of stairs. The place is on the roof top which ensures ample ventilation.  Half the tables have barbecues where the meat is grilled on the table. I would recommend the barbecue and the beef and pork dishes. The bacon like pork is excellent when wrapped around lettuce and had with a garlic and kimchi.
As with Korean places, side dishes are complimentary. The etiquette is that each person orders one plate so the by 2 concept is not encouraged if not downright forbidden. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly though they may come across as reserved.

All in all a nice place to eat good Korean food though  a bit pricey. All dishes are 710 (as of Oct 2019)

Soo Ra Sang is located in the Indiranagara area of Bangalore, just a five-minute walking distance from the Indiranagara Metro Station. One may get easily confused by the Google Maps location although it is absolutely correct. The Korean restaurant is actually hosted on the fourth floor of the OYO Himalayan Inn building.

We visited the place on a Sunday afternoon, having made a booking for ourselves over a phone call the previous day. The place has a moderate seating capacity and was near to empty during the time we visited. It has a nice decor with the staff playing some Korean music in the background.

Coming to the food, we started off by having An Sim, Dak Kal Bee, Sam Gyup Sal and Bull Kal Bee. These were the barbeque dishes and they were prepared in front of us. We loved the Bacon and Beef dishes i.e. Sam Gyup Sal and An Sim. Hence, we ordered both of them once again later. This was the first time I tried Korean food and found it very different. We also ordered Sea Food Kim Bab, Bull Go Gi and Pork Dol Soth Bee Bim Bab. The Bull Go Gi dish turned out to be my favourite. The restaurant served a complimentary cheesecake to everyone in the end. We ended up having an extra 100gms of it since it tasted nice.

I read a lot of reviews about the owner of the restaurant being a very angry lady who did not behave well with her customers. On the other hand, I found her to be quite apt in her behaviour. I thought her behavior was a reflection of her pride in Korean culture and thus, wanting everyone to have Korean food in the correct manner and etiquette. She rebuked us on occasions but it was definitely aimed at enhancing our dining experience. Hence, I would definitely suggest everyone to go with an open mind when conversing with her without making an impression based on her appearance.

Soo Ra Sang turned out to be one of my best dining experiences here in Bangalore and I cannot wait to be back here once again.

If it lacks anything in taste, it makes up in hospitality. The staff is extremely friendly, and the owner is both fun and sweet. The barbecue is definitely the best ting in their menu though. Go here for Korean music, authentic Korean food, and to meet the owner lady.

Our little group had such a great time here! The owner is adorable and so lovely! Our entire time there was a flurry of chopsticks, with bbq’ed pork and beef being polished off the grill as soon as it was edible enough to eat. The little cheesecake and tea at the end of the meal was such a delight! The cold beers were a blessing in the crazy Bengaluru heat. Will make it a point to try the rice wine on my next visit!

Went on a friday night and the experience was great. We called up and booked a bbq table which they did very promptly. After reaching we got the best of all tables which was tv facing. The tables looked so much similar to the korean resturants.
We ordered chicked bbq and japchae and we were provided with tonnes of starters. everything was perfect. Except that everything they serve was at 710 and that was a bit costly for us. And the fact that u have to order the items acc to the number of people on the tble is a bit imposing too ..
Anyway, we also got a chance to try soju which was one of the best experience.. but let me spoil it for u, if u r trying soju for the first time, DONOT try ginseng soju and dont expect to be high or something because its kind of tasted like the slightly diluted version of vodka.
After dinner they served us cheese cake n tea n the cheese cake was such a melt in the mouth 😍 i didnt like the tea much but the gesture was amazing to give us a complete dinner experience.
And not to forget, we requested for exo song and we got to watch it n sing there throughout so CANT COMPLAIN 💗
They serve snacks too so you can buy those from them as well.

Really nice place, good food at the rooftop which felt like authentic Chinese cuisine. They even had a dog named Chan! Super cute and we got to play with him.

One of the most amazing places I’ve visited in Bangalore when it comes to Korean Barbecue. Its speciality is the barbecue which gives a wide range in beef, pork, chicken as well as sea food. The entire menu is of 820rs excluding gst. they give complimentary Kimchi pancake, egg stew and dessert at the end (cheesecake and Korean cold tea). My favourites were all from the barbecue!

One of the best Korean restaurant, I have visited. Great Ambience, Good food. Welcoming staff! You need to have a full course meal here (thats what the cuisine is all about). Finding this place via Gmaps is a bit tricky.. You will find Olive Hotel. Enter the hotel and take the lift to 3rd Flr.

Tried Korean food here for the first time..my review is as follows: Pros: 1. Very polite staff, we arrived at a very short notice of 20 minutes so we made reservations on a call. I recommend making reservations to avoid any seating issues. The staff was welcoming and kind. They are quick to come as soon as you press the bell for any help. 2. Amazing food!- we got complimentary pancake- 5/5, cheesecake-4/5, sweet potato jelly kinda thing- 5/5 and cinnamon tea-5/5. Side dishes- they served soya sauce dipped potatoes, pickled cucumber+onions, pickled soya chunks and beetroot and kimchi. Delightful and fresh! You can also ask for refills. We ordered: Japche -5/5 (Absolutely delicious!! I tried it for the first time and loved it! So happy and the quantity was also good!❤️) Tofu chim-4/5 (I loved the texture and taste of the soup...it had generous pieces of tofu and they served it with rice.) The best part was that they served a bowl of extra soup as Japche was a dry food without any liquids. Very happy with their hospitality and service. They are mindful of their customers. 3. Ambience- they clarify and confirm if you will be having barbeque or not as the seating table is different. The ambience is great and has an authentic korean drama vibe😂. They have a TV which has BTS videos on and we sat on the table infront of TV so it was us, the amazing food and BTS!❤️😂 Cons: 1. Price- the price is on the higher side and is the same for any dish you order despite the quantity. We paid 820 for 2 dishes each. It is expensive compared to other korean restaurants. 2. Veg options- Very limited options specially if you don't even eat eggs..like us. 3. Menu- The menu does not have prices as they have 1-price-all-dishes policy also there is no clear mention of what items are veg or non veg. Overall it was a great experience and i would definitely bring my friends and family to taste the Japche! Thank you.

Absolute great place for barbeque Korean food, Tried Pork and Chicken Barbeque (Dak Kal Bee and Daji Kal Bee), tasted really good. Each item on their Menu is Rs820, For Barbeque you need to place order for minimum two items. They serve all side dishes as well which go really well with the meat.

We had an excellent meal here. The staff took good care, was attentive and explained the dishes to us. The owner was an absolute delight. She spent a good half hour chatting with us about Korean culture, food etc. Look forward to eating here again, soon.

Please note 2 important points. - Every dish is 780/- rs. It doesn't matter what you order. Everything on the menu is 780/- rupees. - You need to order a minimum of 2 barbeque items if you want to try the barbeque. (Barbeque options are only non-veg) Went here on a friend's suggestion. We could see some staff attitude issues at the start, but we ignored them. We came for the food. The menu isn't very elaborate but really dives into Korean cuisine. Lot of pork options and Sushi options. Vegetarians don't have a lot of options. Recommend checking the menu before arriving. The owner walks around often interacting with the customers which is a good sign. The barbeque was good and the Sushi was pretty nice too, although it was beriddled with wasabi. That felt a bit off as every piece of sushi had wasabi inside it. Nevertheless the taste was good. Eventually the staff even offered complimentary tea at the end of the meal. Would visit again for a Korean experience.

If you want authentic Korean food, it's here! Especially, their gimbap is heaven! Their staff, and the owner (마마 산 aka Aunty 😁) was very generous and friendly. I'm definitely going to visit again!
