Review The Beer Cafe - Bengaluru

Cute place on 80 feet road, Koramangala. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We had gone there on a Friday afternoon, there were very few people and it was nice and quiet... We sat inside for sometime and moved outside, i liked both. They do have good choice of beer and other alcohol.... Since we had gone post lunch, we didn't eat much however tasted few different beer, it was pretty nice and the service was nice and quick ( it was relatively quiet time of the day though). If you are around Koramangala and looking for a place during afternoon for a quiet chit chat with few beers, it's an ideal place. Am sure it must be a happening place late evenings too, haven't seen it :)

Beautiful and well lit place. Went there for by myself, was taken care of well by the staff but felt a little awkward for getting strange gazes from other customers, maybe for coming alone? Hasn’t happened in any other pubs.

This place is so awesome place for friends party and post run party celebrations, pizza is really good and other variety of sides are average. Place for BiRA home, all variety bira is available. Vallet parking is also available

Cool place to hang out with friends. They had a selection of seasonal beers. After sampling the 120ml version of I chose Belgian Single. Those who love Hoegaarden would like this one. Spaghetti Aglio Olio was really great, far above my expectations.

I like beer. I liked this place. The music is not too loud, so you can actually make conversation. They have space for large groups, and also for couples. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Two of us got lucky with getting parking right outside. We didn't eat here so I don't know about the food. I did retrospectively wonder if they had any board games etc.. that would be nice.

The beer menu gets changed every week. Great place to spend your weekends with friends. A must visit place for beer lovers. Their garden has some cool plants, very few though. No parking option for 4 wheelers, 2 wheelers can park in the footpath.

Really nice place to be with friends. Excellent ambience and service. We had a person named Om and he served us with utmost professionalism and respect. The prices here are great as well. Most recommended.

Being a week day the place wasn't crowded. They had a spread of Bira beers. Service was slow. Otherwise it's a good place for drink and dine. I revisited the place. Couldn't believe that they had 20 flavours of beers on tap.

I definitely don't have to introduce the brand. The taproom however, is very rustic and the ambience is beautiful and welcoming in the evening. Their ceiling is a crowd winner. The staff and brewers are extremely friendly and will listen to your needs and help you order a beer that might be as per your liking. Their India pale ale is one of my favourite beers. I also like the apple ciders. Food isn't the best. A lot of their menu has deep friend food. This is probably what a majority of the crowd enjoys. I will most definitely go back another time here. It's fun with larger groups.

Place, ambiance and food was good but there was not much of an option in terms of food. They had limited food options, low Music which I liked it and was good if you want to have a nice conversation with friends and family.

The surrounding are in warm lighting which is create an influential ambience. Fair place for hangout. The serving staff were exceptionally good. Food taste is intermediate for me (depends on the choice). Good enough for late night parties. A party hall or presentation stuff and team discussions are going on while we enter the restaurant. May be due to weekend. Overall it’s a great place for party highly recommend.

Came here for a F1 screening and boy was it fun! Come early if you want a a table though or else you would be stuck to a couple of chairs to one end. Nevertheless, the race was great, the ambience was great, the crowd was F1 hungry - overall a good experience at Bira 91! Tried a couple of brews - unfortunately did not find them too great. I would rather stick to Bira blonde and white! The mocktail - a bit peachy was better! The food here was decent - loved the coconut chicken tenders and th fish fingers. Chicken kebab was tasty - the cauliflower coconut fry was a lil meh. Will be back to try my luck at a couple more brews!

Visited on Friday along with office colleagues. They have good options for quick bites to share like Fries, fish fingers. Almond coated cauliflower was an unique dish I tried and tasted good. They have wide variety in mocktails and cocktails. Few of the standard whiskeys are not available though. Ordered pasta and pizza for main course and pizza quality can be improved. Also the service charge is optional which is good.

If you are a beer lover and want to try different beer flavors, then you can go here. Mango Lassi & West Coast IPA Recommended. Food is ok. Vibe is good, But a bit Expensive.

Been here last night by availing an offer from Dineout. Here’s my rating based on different parameters. 1 star: poor customer service. 1 star: deteriorating food being offered. 1 star: ambience. 0 star: management 0 star: cleanliness Here’s your description of the aforementioned ratings. 1: availed an offer from Dineout that said there would be 50% off on alcohol. Dineout didn’t mention anywhere on their TnC that this is valid on selected liquor only. This was told to us when we arrived at Beer Cafe. 2: we ordered the drinks as per the menu. Their menu clearly mentioned the prices different prices of quantities of 30 ml and 60 ml. 3: we went for the 60 ml quantities and the biggest shock was received when the bill was presented to us. They charged us for the drinks at the price of 30 ml instead of 60 ml. I used to be a regular of this place when it was first opened in Koramangala. However, owing to its poor management and least botheration on customer support, I would recommend people not to waste their money on this outlet anymore. Their staff are untrained and treat customers as if they are doing a favour to us. The manager is yet another glib lair, always of the toes to provide one time-wasting excuse after another. No doubt their footfall is decreasing compared to what I used to see earlier. Definitely deserved by them.

Pricey, dinghy & generally just loud. Even though pitcher & tank are all available, they aren't to our choice but only KF Premium. Qty of food served per plate for the same cost shud certainly increase. Giving 5 full spoon scoops of peanut masala for ~Rs. 150 is just not appreciated.

My go to place for draining off the week with my man. But I was wondering if they can restrict the entry of small children to this place? As parents ourselves, we find it very uncomfortable to have children in a place which is designated as a Pub. In our race to become a free and frank society do we have to expose our children to this environment, so early? Yes I am completely old school hence this request :) Cheers.

The beer is good with best onion rings in town. Good ambience and a pool table.

It's a nice place for a Saturday evening. They had a live band performance. Draught beers are amazing. However they need to work on their veg starters. Overall it was a nice peppy place.

One of the best staff seen in cafes. Great that they have a pool table. Beer is good and so are the starters. Is a bit expensive though but worth the money sometimes.

Craft beers are good but it’s double the cost compared to other good breweries, food is good , ambience is also good . One time visit not more than that

Quiet when I visited at least on a weekday evening. The cocktail I tried was quite good and so were the starters. Didn't have dinner. Decor is simple and neat. Parking may be an issue on most days and I didn't see a valet. But from a food and drinks perspective, definitely good.

Ordered a Bierita which was poorly made. There were a lot of mosquitoes and the place was dead. Put your dough to good use, refrain from this place

Having a excellent time with my family in The Beer Cafe in Kormangala, we had Oning ring's & Beer, got a excellent service by Mr Prem. the place always have a favorite to hangout and the have pool game as well , Kpt up guys

A cozy place to hang around with friends. Nice ambience. They serve superb variety of beers. Very nice range of starters. Also the place is easy on your pocket. Thus place has zomato gold which is the cherry on the cake.

Went to TBC, Kormangala on Saturday eve to chill out with a bunch of college friends. We sat in the backyard of the cafe. The staff was courteous and friendly.<br/>But the food menu was kinda disastrous as the nibbles / starters were not as good as expected for the price at which it is offered. The taste could seriously be improved upon. Also, the mosquitos in the evening might make you want to shift inside. <br/><br/>Not sure if I’d visit it again!

Opposite to expectations the place seemed to have lost the vibes, basic food, fish fingers were average and mosquitoes were the company. It’s Koramangala, Buck up!!

This pub has lost his charm. Service is pathetic and I don't like their beer anymore. The food omg for that price it was horrible. This place won't be crowded for obvious reasons even on sat Eve. I don't recommend to visit this one. You can give it a try for other outlets. Well there was time when I had wait for table but now it's your wish where do you wanna sit. Probably not.

Pretty decent place to hangout..I had been for a lunch date n had taken an outdoor seating which was very much pleasant, calm n attractive. The place is huge..d staff was very polite n humble. Coming to food I had ordered veg spring roll n chilli panner..I must say chilli panner was up to d mark..it was just d way I want it soft panner n tht spicy touch❤️while d spring roll was okish I wouldn’t recommend tht..I felt the cabbage had sum sort of stale smell common out. But would definitely recommend this place for those beer lovers who r looking for a decent place to chill n chat☺️

Always love the place. Super cool and a great place to hangout. Love the variety of beers that they offer. You don't have to stick to one or two brands. Food is also good. Service was really fast.

The place is extremely unhygienic. We left our food for a game of pool and came back to a sight of rats eating and running over our food (couldn't get a clearer picture) . This is disgusting and completely unacceptable. Such places deserve to have their licenses revoked.

A great place to enjoy alcohol. The ambience and the location is perfect for a relaxed evening. Would definitely be going in the future too for a cool get together with friends

I went to Beer Cafe on a Friday night with a friend to grab a quick bite while he wanted to grab a drink. I love their outer area. The greenery and the dim light makes it such a perfect place to chill on your weekend. I loved their peppy paneer pizza. The chicken tikka was okayish. It wasn't as spicy as it should be. The peach ice tea was sweeter than usual. They can work on their food. It was a good experience although, thanks to the ambience.

Nice place.. have lot of options on beer.. it's a place for beer lovers.. the outdoor seatings needs be modified a lot.. u can enjoy it drinks while playing the pool over there. Overall experience GOOD

I visited this outlet in last week of December on Saturday evening. crowd was normal but Ambience was good. We ordered a tank along with chicken tikka which was really delicious. Went to this place recently and even though the menu had a wide variety of beer options, when asked for one it wasn't available.We had 3 similar rounds before we finally gave up and asked the waiter for the available ones which were only a few.The mosquitoes made it impossible for us to have a good time.Hope the management looks into it soon.

This place has indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangement. One very big issue was mosquitoes, people can not even sit outside because of mosquitoes. Inside it was comparatively better but not that good. Music was okayish. We ordered nachos, fries and peanuts. Nachos were good, but fries and peanut masala were not up to the mark. Service was fast and staff was cooperative.

Too hot, AC didn't work. Mic fruit and other mocktails were good. Food was good enough. Service was not great, they were taking too much time to serve even when there was no one else to serve. Food was costly and less items for vegetarians. Not sure about beer ( I didn't drink). Overall not that good experience.

The cool happening hangout place in the heart of Koramangala.A must visit beer hopping place with quality n reasonable price.The ambience is well maintained and decorated.The stuffs are very good specially Vivek.It was a mid week plan for us and it was fully justified by this restaurant.We will definitely recommend.

Well best part about this place is you get to play pool table for free if you are a pool lover a must visit place to pot the ball having a chilled beer and just love the starters

Very bad experience. We were advised by the waiter to take a pitcher of LIIT insted 4 glasses of the same saying that the quantity of it is more ( price was more as well) when he poured it into our glasses it was just 3.25 glasses which were full off only ice. Also the drink was soo diluted that it tasted like sugarcane. I would advise everyone to avoid this place. Come here if you want to waste your money and have a horrible experience.<br/>Wish i had an option of giving this zero stars.

Ambience is dull old not recommended. It's beer cafe don't have most of the branded ones. Tables and chairs are not good 😞 the one in outdoors was tampered.

It has quite a good collection of beer. Very airy and open space. Finger food and the main menu has some good variety as well. Staffs are very friendly.

I had visited this place many times.I loved this place mostly for karaoke. But recently the karaoke licence for this restaurant is suspended and when i went there yesterday it felt dull. Overpriced food and drinks. No proper seat arrangements. Service was good. <br/><br/>Calcutta chilli chicken was good and tanduri chicken was not up to the mark. Ambience is dull.

Three years ago this place was LIT. But nowadays you will hardly fond any crowd even on weekends . The ambiance is decent but the price of food(especially starters) is slightly high. The thing I didn't like about this place is that most of the time they don't have draught beer in stock. It was my favorite restro-bar once upon a time but now the place looks dull and needs some renovation. I feel that the management should come up with some attractive offers to gain its customer back.

Outside sitting area is nice. I like place without noise, so it was very good. I have tried many dishes here and found most of items very well prepared and tasty. Only low side is the quantity, which can be much better. Otherwise, it would have been 5 star.

They took more than 45 mins to give us a plate of fries even though the place wasn't crowded at all. Terrible service with poor quality of food. Overpriced place and not worth it. The staff is very rude. The air conditioning wasn't switched on and the the entire place was heated up. Not recommended at all.

Nice place to visit. They have variety of beer and serve Belgium wheat beer as well. I think the food menu can be improved. Most of the food items were fried so I don't like that much. But pizza was tasty.

Coming to drinks they have many imported beer options like corono and others and also draught beer of budweiser and KF. draught beer is good no issues, they also have their own craft beer called geist and among them witty witt is the one to try. Must try starters are corn bhel and peri peri french fries. All in all a good place to chill out. Will definitely visit again with friends.

A good surprise. The tables tucked away behind the cafe are nice and quiet. Sometimes to it’s good to settle down with drinks and have great conversation without the usual loud music.

First tried in Delhi CP, which had great food (pasta and fancy fries), the Bangalore outlet has been progressively devolving in quality and options. They stopped serving Geist draughts, the foreign beers are far too expensive (no one needs to drink SOL at Rs. 500 plus) and the options in food have decreased drastically. <br/><br/>Fries are the only thing okay, and a little of the pasta – but you can make out it’s been made from a ready-made sauce with NO cheese at all. Nachos are terrible, they served me warm yogurt on the chips once, the manager ensured it was replaced, but the next one was pretty bad too. There used to be sliders served three ways, unfortunately, they stopped and the current cost of a burger with fries is atrocious. <br/><br/>Visiting every month twice (from Oct last year) on Wednesdays (for the 2 free cocktails for women) – these are good, but the lack of proper food is a major minus. Crowd on weekdays is minimal, the music is not great, not bad, seating is alright. It’s not a happening place. Staff is friendly and helpful.<br/><br/>I’d suggest any other brewery compared to this place.

The food was good and the portions were good too. <br/><br/>Regarding the drinks, please do check with them what their deals with Zomato Gold billing is like. At the time of billing we were told that we could avail the offer of B2G2 only on 330 ml and not larger.

The only thing good about the place is their cordial staff. They've been trying to sell their own brand so much that they stopped stocking other beer. There was barely any crowd on a Saturday night, probably owing to the lack of options. We left just after one round of drinks as we found that the onion rings we offered were stale and too oily.<br/>The ratings for this place just doesn't do justice to the customer.<br/>Very very disappointing.

Good place. Nice ambience. Our waiter Abel was very friendly. He suggested us good beer and tasty food. Awesome place to have great conversations with your buddies.

We went on Wednesday evening after office. Half of brands they dont have available. Zomato gold works only for kingfisher. Even Budweiser is out of stock. Not a great experience.

No one came to take the order. The waiter looked and ignored us until we asked them for a menu. They didn't have any of the beers on the menu, only the extremely cheap or extremely expensive ones. When we got the beer it was frothy and diluted

Ask for Rehan and Akash for serving you. Amazing people they are. They even helped us out with Zomato gold application when others said it's too late for its application.

It was an amazing experience. Nice ambience and great food quality with an wide range of beers. There our server was Mr. Vivek who actually helped us understanding the menu, happy-hour and treated us extremely well. We shall visit again.

Went to this place with my friends; had a lot of expectations. In reality, the place turned out to be okayish. The food seemed overpriced and nothing out of ordinary, the ambience was below par (it was unnecessarily dark and hot and humid. We requested more than once to decrease the temperature but it was not kept.); the only saving grace were the beertails which we enjoyed quite a lot. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place much.

Calm and quiet place. Not very crowded so that you can have an amazing time talking with your mates. The service too is good!! You can have chilled beer and steaming pizzas!

The worst pub experience in Kormangla, in all my years of living here. Extremely poor service, so much that I would rather stay at home next time than come here again in my life.

A real good place. Suitable for everyday hanging. You can go in groups...or with your date or just by yourself...and even then you would have a good time. Really good and polite staff. Great choice of beers. A must visit place for all beer lovers. Great ambiance.

Very good service and amazing food. The second time here and can confirm that this place just keeps getting better. The chicken wings here are a must, especially with a mug of beer. Props to Vivek for the great service.

THE BEER CAFE 😊😊😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻<br/>Today I visited this place to chill out with my friends, had a good time here ambiance was great, nice bar view, we ordered BBQ wings and all the 3 non-veg pizzas it was really delicious and great combination with our beer, and we met Vivek who served us he was friendly with us, he suggested us to the good food, had a great time, must visit here, pocket friendly and great atmosphere,<br/>I will visit here again because of the service.<br/>-- thank you Vivek

After hearing a lot of abt this restaurant... finally there with my friends..<br/>All starters were really good... we tried chilly chicken, seekh kebab, soya parche, & Pepproni pizza....<br/>Coming to the service... friendly staff.....can say.. one of my best experience.. thank you team "The Beer Cafe" especially Mr Ganesh ...for making our day mamorible....<br/>We tried crafted beer.. only.. ..<br/>We will come again with same expectations<br/><br/>

I went to this place with an idea that they would be decent. But my first experience here was so beneath average I have to rate it the lowest.<br/>I have been provided a Christmas offer from Jim Beam and Beer cafe where in order to promote their online bar UrBar a pre assigned 25 pegs of Jim Beam. I thought of using them for 2 large pegs out of the 25 pegs offered. The first response when I mentioned this to the waiter is let me check if JimBeam is available. As is expected, he returned stating that It is not available.<br/>I know their assistant manager and had to dial him from a number unknown to him to make sure this issue is sorted. Magically after one phone call to.him, the resident head came and said they are "arranging" for Jim Beam. I felt cracking up thinking how they made a mockery of themselves.<br/>Second offence, I had informed about the Zomato Gold where one of their food dishes are supposed to be complimentary. When the bill arrived and after informing them prior to unlocking my zomato gold twice, the complimentary dish was still billled. I had to remind them to rectify the bill.<br/>Third and final offence, I asked for a pepperoni pizza and did not mention the size. They have a 9 inch and a 12 inch variety with a price difference of only 30 INR. I never mentioned the size and they provided a 9 inch pizza which I was fine with but we were billed for the 12 inch. I had to point that out to them as well.<br/>It is not the money, but the ethics as to how they try and manipulate customers by presuming we are idiots. The pizza was decent and so was the Chilli Chicken. I am just disappointed with their repeated attempts to try and make a joke out of service and billing. I highly recommend all to.double check their invoices everytime they visit this venue because something tells me this kind of behaviour is status quo here. Beyond words at this impeccable failure of customer satisfaction. Somebody please do something about this.<br/><br/>

The service by Abel was splendid.! Friendly ecosphere.! Best for couplets.! The food n beverage are soothing.. one must not miss the place to visit.!

Was here for a team dinner. Got the top floor to ourselves by booking early. Cool ambience with great music! Ample seating and a snooker table to play around. Good seating in adjoining balcony to catch fresh air. Beer order came pretty fast. However, food was a different story. There was lots of delay in getting our orders. Plates had to be requested when food appears without plates! Seriously? Food was scrumptious though. Great place to hang out for beer. Wouldn't go there with a team for dinner again.

Had a late Lunch for New Year here. Great place, lovely service, yummy food. Good options for drinks. My choice was the non veg platter. Will surely go again.

Was almost empty even on Saturday evening. This place is overpriced and was not serving draught beers even though it's called Beer Cafe. The food was good and service was decent. Not the best place to enjoy an evening as a group on Saturday evening with many more options in Koramangala.

Great ambience; Great service; Akash was available all the time to make it a great experience. Food was okay. Trees around sitting area adds to top of it.

Visited for lunch just today. We chose to stay outdoors - to enjoy the liveliness😊. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice beer, we had a delightful cheese garlic bread and veg seekh kabab. Food is pretty good. But the ambience is completely outdated. Absolutely no maintenance in the outdoors. And regarding the customer satisfaction with respect to waiters attention towards their customers must be worked on.!!

Great place to hangout with friends, ordered for some great cocktails, pizza and burger..<br/>Best part was Mr. Ganesh (Manager) he have taken really good care of us..<br/>Definitely will visit sooner..<br/>Cheers..!!!!

Nice place to hangout ...Please improve on food quality and ambience...start playing good music...it was like we wer sad and it's making it worse...Fish fingers was not upto the mark ...there was one waiter for all the tables ...Bring the positive vibes back !!
