Had chicken dum biryani. Rice and meat were well cooked with right amount of spices. Only disappointment is, this biryani was served with only one piece of chicken and this might be due to the price they are charging. They charged Rs 120 for chicken dum biryani. Seating was little congested. Had ulavacharu chicken Biryani. Taste was good but the price is more for the quantity they serve.

Spicy, yummy and tasty food!! That's the hallmark of this place. The ambience and interiors of this place are decent and gives you a soothing feel. For starters, we ordered Chicken Majestic, Chicken Lollipop, Special Fried Prawns, Chicken Hot and Sour soup and Chicken 555. All of these items were top class and super tasty. The major attribute of all these items was that they were all super spicy. For main course, we ordered Chicken as well as Mutton Biriyani. The Biriyani is just about decent with nothing fantastic or outstanding about it. Service is prompt and waiting time is minimal. Do note that this place is only for people who enjoy spicy food. Look elsewhere if you aren't a lover of spicy food.

The place is located just near VIMS hospital, Marathahalli. The ambiance is good and place is spacious. Service is slow-to-moderate depending on the dish ordered(Hara Bhara Kebab came fast whereas corn masala took time) we ordered soup and starters initially. Veg Manchow soup was actually good considering its not a chinese restaurant!! For Veg starters we ordered Hara Bhara Kebab which was good and is recommended. Paneer majestic and Golden Fried baby corn were just okay. Rotis were little brittle and curry(Veg Jaipuri) was tasty. Veg Biriyani was not that spicy and we ordered family pack which can easily serve 4-5 people. Friends ordered Lime soda was not good(not recommended) whereas buttermilk was good. There were not much desserts options except Khubani ka meetha and ended up not ordering any desserts. Staff is courteous and engaging. The price is moderate to slightly costly compared to other restaurants in Marathalli.

The ambience is good.We , a group of friends , went to try out the biriyani and it turned out to be very tasty .We took the family pack of Chicken Dum biriyani .2 family packs was enough for 7 people.Each has 4 pieces of chicken (Being a bong ,I missed the aloo though :p) .Just a. Recommendation, if you do not like too much spice , just ask the waiter to give you a bit less spicy rice .Overall it's a great place to visit to satisfy your hungry stomach .😀

First people to visit this restaurant on a Sunday evening... The restaurant was pretty empty when we entered but was full when we left the place.. It shows how famous this place is in the locality.. The ambience of the restaurant was pretty decent but it was not anythin special... The service was quiet fast as well.. We received our food within 10 minutes... We ordeded tandoori chicken and chicken Majestic for starters.. Tandoori chicken was pretty good... Chicken Majestic s an indo Chinese dish which long pieces of chicken breast roasted and then sautéed in Indian spices and Chinese sauces... The chicken majestic which we ordered was pretty dry and didn't have any sauces.. It tasted good though but the authenticity was missing.. We ordered mutton dum biryani... The biryani has more salt and less oil and hence was disappointing.. Was there for a team lunch, though we had reserved the tables , when we visited the staff were unaware of it, but the restaurant was empty and looked poorly lit, so we had our doubts on the food. In review: I didnt find many of cons in this biryani.. The taste is much similar to that in hyderabad unless it is a bit more drying... I dont see that as a big con... Try out the ulvacharu chicken biryani this is both spicy and tangy which i reallyy like about it.. We have ordered chicken lollipop as starter which was really good taste wise but a little bit over spiced I felt. In main course we have ordered biriyani, chili chicken and garlic naan. Cafe Bahar near I-Max theatre, basheerbagh in Hyderabad is the best out of all, have tried here aswell as it was close to my proximity, who would try chinese in Indian restaurants? We did and they were just ok, starters were regular. Manchow and Chicken hot n sour soups werent like them as we tasted earlier, looked pretty desi and too much of Hajinamoto i guess, chicken Majestic and drumsticks were decent enough. Best part is prices are ok or these dishes. Best of all is Mutton Fry Biriyani, which is too good in taste. So keep ur appetite high for Biriyani only.

Decent one - Prawn Ginger: It was okay, the masala was dominating prawn - Pepper chicken: This was an unexpected item. Babae Cafe is on the service road in Marathahalli, near VIMS hospital. They have seating capacity of around 80-100 people. We had reached there for late dinner by 10 PM. The place is lively till 11.30PM. Parking could be a problem in peak hours. We had ordered Uluvacharu Chicken Biriyani, Butter Chicken, Veg Chatpata, Andhra Chicken Curry along with Roti and butter roti. The food can be spicy unless specifically asked for while placing order. Biriyani was very good, but tasted more like Hyderabadi Biryani. Service was quick and good. Can be tried if you aren't looking for specific cuisine places.

This is where it all went wrong - So I have been a big foodie on Zomato and Dine In, and I have visited close to 120+ restaurants. This waiter( not his fault, as he is just doing his job) has a tablet ion which orders are taken and the rule is that you cannot edit your order even before the entire order is taken. In other words, we ordered 2 lime sodas, so my wife needed a salt instead of sweet n salt. The waiter immediately slaps a rejection on my face saying that as soon as you tell your order it gets confirmed even before the entire order is taken. Sadly, my wife was pissed and we left the restaurant. Will never ever recommend you guys to anyone else. Service - Don't even deserve a zero Ambience - Dirty Toilets Rating - 0/5

So speaking of ambience it was good and most of the crowd out there were of working class. The staff came with the menu and to begin with I ordered chilly mutton as for starters. For my main course without hesitation I ordered chicken dum biryani. The wait was not too long for the food to arrive. The staff were polite and service was good. The chilli mutton arrived first and it was spicy but I love the way the mutton was cooked with spices and it had good flavours. The biryani followed that, the quantity was such that it could fill two person. Tastewise it was ok. Not too good and not too bad at all. Anyways I feel the biryani was good for its price though. Bahar Cafe has been my favorite go to place for some crazy North Indian food. I have been here a lot many times and never have been disappointed by the service or the food. I usually order Paneer tikka masala, Malai kofta, Stuff kulcha and garlic Naan. These items are just amazing. The price range of the restaurant is on the okaish side as compared to other restaurents. But paying the amount for the food you get here is totally worth it.

Talking about the chicken butter masala there was no chicken pieces but basically shredded chicken in a sweetish gravy. The best part of my order was the soup. It had a good quantity of chicken and the flavour was great. The butter nans were soft and tasty. Disappointed with the biryani experience because i had heard a lot about it. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special chiken biriyani. It was beautiful-peaceful and relaxing. Staff was outstanding. The restaurant was exceptional along with the hosts and servers. I would like to rate it 4/5

Ordered Butter chicken for lunch, it was authentic and delicious. Chicken was soft, boneless and sufficient for one person. Even my previous order of Dal fry also tasted awesome.

Worst biryani (no taste and no quality) When I was opened the item got bad smell and curd ritha is tomuch bad.finally I feel very bad. Same situation happened in past.

A decent restaurant with a lot of space to occupy a large number of people at a time. The special boneless chicken briyani is the best in here. And what’s more worth it is the family pack at a nominal price that fulls up to 4 people. Must try once for family and friends

Located on outring road and with normal parking available Family resto, no alcohol. Traditional andra food. Good seating arrangement as shown in pic. For a couple you can go for food like Chicken munchow soup (1/2) Guntur chicken fry( ass burning spicy) Two chicken biryani with bone (120rs only per biryani take this) They serve coke in glass. Average amount for two approx 550rs. Unnecessary dont try other foods..but overall a good resto.

Decent seating area and well organized. However the food would be neutral. There will not be anything so much to excite about. This is a typical old style good restaurants that one sees in towns. That does not mean that all food will be yummy and delicious.
