Review Le Charcoal - Bengaluru

Giridharan Dhanasekar
The Fish, kubus, humas and especially the fruit and vegetables salads were one of the best I tasted.. Was not consistent with the salad though on the other 3 visits.. Good food.

Quite place, good food and ambience. Al-faham a must try.
Na Gola Naadey
Good food at affordable price ..first I taught it's a classy place and would bill me to Rob a bank but it turned out to be jst the place right out of my budget . food freshly grilled and service was also very nice I would recommend to try the alfum dish a Dubai special with any Indian breads

I visited this place along with my friends during weekend. This restaurant is famous for its Arabian and Sea foods. We ordered Mango shake with chocolate to refresh ourselves. I must say it was awesome. Even the starters and main courses we ordered were delicious. I loved the food. The service was great and the staffs were cordial. People visiting this place could either sit inside or choose an open roof area to have their food. We chose to sit in an open roof area as we liked the concept. It was a pleasant experience to have our dinner. The only thing that I felt missing was music. The crowd was descent and the food was very delicious and budget friendly. I liked this place !!

It has a good ambience and food was really yummy too!!

Visited here once for lunch. Good food. Service was decent. Prices were reasonable but you can't eat here more than once or twice a week. In the end, it's just another restuarant. Nothing special here. Nothing worth mentioning.

Le charcoal residing at koramangala near to Jyothi Nivas College road. I had been to this place for having biriyani and especially for sea food items. We need to start at home quite quickly to this place otherwise tables are filled. Ambiance is good and the place was very crowded. Tables are arranged in a tightly spaced but look neatly. Servers are good we got a wow welcome .When we enter here the smell we are getting so good and also prepare our tummy to taste food they serve. We started with apple juice then we ordered their famous non veg chops Chicken Thandoori, buttor naan, Murgh mogalai, Fish fry. All are tasted so good. Starters were so good along with green chetny it was spicy and very tasty. Deserts were special at this place and good taste. Quantity and quality are reasonable for the prices. I suggest group hangout for this place. Finally excellent service, clean comfortable ambiance affordable food cost, Looking forward to visit the restaurant in coming days.

The ambience is nice. The food takes some time, but worth the wait. Came here a lot of times, haven't disappointed me once 😋 I totally love their fried rice and rara murgh!!

Very polite service.Food quality was good. Taste was similar to home food... Only drawback was vegetarian items are limited only that's it apart from that everything was so good.
Dhaval Tamakuwala
Nice restaurant with delicious arabian food. Good ambience. Particularly staff was very friendly and cooperative. We ordered kalmi kabab which was super but chicken biryani was not that good. Overall value for money restaurant.

A good place to have foods from Indian cuisine.. The Indian Tandoori platter was really nice. However they take a lot of time to prepare and serve.

So a small group of four of us were wondering in the streets of Koramangala deciding what to eat. After a lot of discussion we settled on this place. We were not sure what to eat, so we ordered the Arabian platter which had almost everything for everyone. I didn't like the chicken but may be it was overwhelmed by the other dishes on the platter. Service was excellent and we even got a couple of mutton shops to go. I have to add they really went well with a couple of drinks back home. Recommended.

Excellent place for kebabs and sea food <br/>Decent ambiance and decent staff<br/>They have good option of kebabs and grills . <br/>My personal favourites : chilli fish and barbecue chicken

Le Charcoal is conveniently located in Jyothi Nivas road, Koramangala amidst plethora of other eateries that are nearby. It may not be the best of places to catch our sight at the very first glance. But once you step in, it is altogether a different scenario. It is a typical wholesome Arabian cuisine serving restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating.<br/><br/>I was planning to place some order for take-away and my friend suggested to try their Lebanese platter. They did take quite a time in preparing the food and so we had to wait. This area is quite happening starting from late evenings with buzzing crowd around. Finally, the order was ready and they did pack the items neatly and were courteous enough in delivering it with a broad smile.<br/><br/>Lebanese platter had Grilled Chicken served with Hummus, Greek Salad and Hawaiian Salad.<br/><br/>The Greek salad is a well-known and much loved salad around the world which is made with pieces of tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, onion, olives and others, typically seasoned with salt and oregano.<br/><br/>Hawaiian Salad is a blend of amazingly sweet and tangy flavours. Both the salads were refreshing.<br/><br/>Grilled Chicken is usually my go-to dish that’s perfect for a quick and presumably healthy dinner. It was delicious with its savory flavours and with hummus it is sure to woo one’s taste buds.<br/><br/>Quality and Quantity were reasonable for the prices.<br/><br/>Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for tasty Arabian Cuisine that is also easy on pocket.

Le charcoal understands what a shawarma is. Great plate shawarma with amazing hummus and garlic paste. The freshly prepared khuboos is something you will fall in love with if you have anything to do with the arab culture.

Let's start with the ambience. It's a calm and friendly place with decent lighting and comfort. Good for a family outing. The food is great. They have a fairly good variety of dishes and the meat items are cooked well, although they could give a little extra attention to the mutton dishes. They tend to over cook it a tad bit but this really doesn't affect the taste all that much. If you really want to have something different, the Al Faham with pita bread is a great option. The mutton biriyani is also really well made. They do not over power the dishes with extra spices. It's just right and the meat is really well cooked. The only thing they need to focus on right now is to train their staff on being able to explain each dish well and understand what comes with what. It seems like they're there just to write down the name of the dish we're ordering but have no clue as to what's in any of it. But having said that, it's great value for money and you'll walk out of there knowing you'll go back for more.

Tried their Al Fahm chicken.. definitely going to order again. The taste was just out of the world and i havent had anything similar before. Their Mayo is just out of the world, superb taste. Waiting to try other good items from the menu. <br/><br/>Their Mutton seekh kabab was average and required to be cooked more.

I have been to this place twice for takeaways. First time I had taken Rara Chicken which was good in taste but the chicken was not minced properly and we found bigger pieces of chicken and quantity was not good enough for two pax. Second time, I had ordered Chicken Tandoori and Barbeque Chicken. Since it was a takeaway, I asked him to add some butter to the Tandoori Chicken so, that it would remain soft till I reached home.<br/>So, the taste of both the items were too good but I found Tandoori Chicken much better than Barbeque chicken. <br/>So, my rating for Tandoori Chicken will be 5/5, Barbeque chicken as 4/5 and Rara Chicken as 3/5.<br/><br/>I did not find the packaging good as the oil came out the packing into my bag which they have to do something in future.<br/><br/>So, my overall rating is 3.5/5. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.<br/><br/>Thanks.
ANKIT AMAN
Worst food and worst service. I have never seen such kind of pathetic service by any of the restaurant in Koramangala area. The food quality was very poor. It was smelling very bad . We left our food in between.
Syed Zaidi
All i can say that, I have created a zomato account just now to review Le Charcoal.. <br/>Probably the best place to have Arabic cuisine outside Arab.<br/>Ordered their Lebanese Seekh Kebab Platter and it was AMAZING to say the least, will be visiting the restaurant very soon..
Gaurav Mitrani
Visited the place once with my vegetarian friend. The place was calm and had a decent crowd. Food was good with prompt service.<br/>We ordered Al-faham Chicken and Methi chaman Hariyali.<br/><br/>Ambiance => 3.5 *<br/>Food         => Veg = 3.5 *| Non-Veg = 4 *<br/>Service     => 3.5 *<br/>Pricing      => 3.5 *<br/>Menu        => Non-vegetarians will like it. Good options available.<br/><br/>Worth a try if you are a non-veg lover.

I got to visit this place by mistake and it turned out be a great experience.<br/><br/>This place has the BESTEST "Egg tomato curry". I had personally requested them to fry the egg and trust me it was so yummy that I ate my entire meal without uttering a word. Have tried Shawarma, noodles, biryani.. the quantity is good and I have always gone back home with a big smile on my face. <br/><br/>The ambience is cozy and the service is great. They customize the food item if you want to add your extra tadka.
Niketha Shetty
Visited this place twice. 1st time when I visited it was too crowded but 2nd time it was very calm. Ambience is normal. I ordered barbeque prawns(just 6pcs, bit expensive for the quantity), chicken tikka dry had an amazing taste, roti n murgh masala. Had also tasted shawarma here. Food is good. Service as well. Worth a try!
Pushpa Talawar
Nice ambience !! It might look a little conjusted but ambience covers it up !! Food is tasty .. we tried vegetarian that was good !! But it looses it's score in service !! When we visited, even though not many people were there they took a long time to serve which is not a good experience!!
Shreyanjana Bhattacherjee
The restaurant offers a variety of cuisine, and we tried a few of these...each one of the dishes was exquisitely done...very refreshing experience, with a courteous staff. Special mention needs to be made of the Biriyani and the Prawn ghee roast. Thumbs up to Le Charcoal and thank you for a great treat within reasonable pricing! Just what the good doctor ordered 😀

One of the best place to try the North Indian cuisine, Tasty food, value for money and most important you dont have to wait for the table. For vegetarian: try kadai paneer its yummy

Can we give more than 5..one of the best place to have dinner..mutton kali Mirch, dal bukhara must try... best place to have dinner...great ambiance and great service<br/><br/>
Agna.rohini
You will get one of the most tastiest grilled chicken here! Pepper chicken is a must try. A great place for non vegetarians. As vegetarian ( I am a non vegetarian inclined more towards vegetarian food :p) food is just okay in comparison. Value for money food.
Amit
This restaurant is very close to my office so have visited this place a few times for lunch. The ambience is ok. The food tastes good and the quantity is very good. The one thing which I don't like about this place is that their service is very slow. Have to wait for a long time for the food to arrive. My favourite dish here is the mutton biryani and the chicken barbeque.<br/>Overall a good place to hand out with office buddies.

When you are hungry and somewhere around kormangala "La Charcoal" is the place you need to go.<br/>Best ambiance best food and best service is what you get here....<br/>Rolls and shawarma s. Dal and curry everything at it's best.

Food served a bit late. Apart from that ambience is good. Most importantly fpod here is awesome. Try the Le Charcoal special here. It is very good.
Suranjan Paul
Went to this place today for the first time. Ordered Lebanese platter for starters and mutton biriyani for main course. starters was great. Biriyani was not good at all. Most importantly, It was cold. When asked, the rice was changed. Staff is hospitable and friendly... Overal an "ok" place.
Soumyadeep Dasgupta
Value for money. The prices might look at little on the higher side for the starters, the portions are definitely worth the amount. A must try in this restaurant is their range of kebab platters. The quantity of a regular platter which costs about 1200 is enough to satiate the taste buds of atleast 5 people, if not satiate the stomach as well. <br/><br/>However the product that is really worth of praise is their naan; buttery, soft and melt in the mouth. <br/><br/>Ambience is never a concern as long as the food is good. However it's worth mentioning that this place does justice to that aspect as well. <br/><br/>A small suggestion: the family room is a little too cold when the ACs are on. It would be really nice if that could be taken care of.
Debajyoti Bandopadhyay
The restaurant has good mughlai options, the food was good.A nice place to hang out and have some starters. The chinese dishes could have been better.
Priyasha Pawan
I was in a mood to try out some fish dishes and went to this place....tried fish kebab here....and it was superb....<br/><br/>Food:4/5<br/>Service:4/5<br/>Ambience:3/5<br/><br/>

The Fish fillet is awesomeeee. Ask for extra spicy one and they serve you with Mayo and pita bread. That is yum! Also the Arabian cool is a delight!!
Abhrajit Ray
A nice chic place. Nice lighting and getup. Barbecue prawns and lamb chops. A must try, along with manchow soup. All time classic, but magnificent. The service is extremely good. And the presentation of food is a delight for the ones with photo-obsession.

Ordered from here once for office lunch. So, based on that;<br/><br/>Food-3.5/5- We ordered both Indian and Chinese items and they were tasty too. <br/><br/>Price-4/5- Price is decent, pocket-friendly.<br/><br/>Delivery-3/5- We actually had placed a bulk order there, might be because of that it took them longer time to deliver.<br/><br/>Otherwise,<br/>#GoodToGo #BudgetRestaurant #GoodFood #GoForIt

First things first, the food here is amazing!I have been eating here for over about a year now and they consistently deliver quality food with great taste. Most of the times I order home delivery and it's quick and great. Recently order for a large party of about 10 and everything from the starters to the main course was outstanding. Must try: Barbeque chicken, Lasooni Tikka, Butter Chicken and even the Gobi Manchurian.

This place looks pretty normal from the outside but it has a lovely fine dine area inside. <br/>They have some Amazing Lebanese food and their Shawarmas are definitely one of the best around here.<br/>Their Rara chicken masala tasted pretty good, it was medium spicy and it had a lot of minced chicken in the gravy, unlike many other places where there's more gravy than the chicken. Their tandoori rotis were nice n soft too. <br/>Their prices are medium ranged and you can have a good meal in pretty less amount regardless of the lovely place. <br/>Their service was up to the mark.
Nahla
Le charcoal is a familiar place to most people who have been to the kormangala's fifth block ....the place is a small multi cuisine restaurant with prime focus on barbecue dishes....and charcoal grills mimicking an arabian cuisine....we ordered their pepper bbq...and their tandoori grilled chicken...al fahm with rice and chicken kabsa...biryanis...and a few chinese dishes....also ordered a murg tikka masala and a few naan to go with it....overall ....the food was good...not great...the naan was slightly rubbery....the kabsa a lil out of flavor ..both the pepper bbq and tandoori chicken were the best of all the dishes ordered...the garlic paste served was slightly stale....to quench we took a few mocktails..all of which were a mix of food color ....soda...and concoctions....nothing commentable....on the whole...the place could be a lot better....as it is situated in a lane which is no short of competition when it comes to food...verdict : worth a shot...if u like barbecues....
Dewank
Amazing location, amazing ambience, brilliant hospitality, quick service, and delicious food. Trust me, this place is amongst the best few restaurants in Bangalore to have AMAZING North Indian food even though it's mainly a Lebanese restaurant. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.
Mandeep
Good experience in le charcoal , I and our team have visited there on Friday for our dinner party , i experienced one of my best food there. Their ambience was simple, I was quite impressed by their smily service and always helpful in our need , thanks to Samuel ,jaydev , Navin, fenoch, chef n captain for their Excellent service and food and they are asset to your company. Overall good experience....

One of worst service anyone can possibly get.<br/>9 of us ordered for a lebanese platter and alfaham. The first order took us about 30mins to serve, bearing that, we placed our second order after that long wait taking our chances. And we were let down again.<br/>The food was ok for the price, but the service was horrible. The attitude of the waiters were really rude. When we tried giving a suggestion to one of the main waiters, he was arrogant enough to tell us he knows it. And I quote him " he knows everything".<br/>Definitely not a dine in place, food is alright.
The Foodie 40
Another place to dine with for delicious cousin had tried Palak pander with tandoori roti and chicken noodles and lime juice to start. I have been there with my friend. Food was delicious and yummy and we completely enjoyed the meal.<br/><br/>Edit: Visited this time to try once again today and worth this visit. Ordered Pomegranate Juice which was freshly prepared, Gobi Dry Manchurian, Veg fried rice, Dal Makhani and Tandoori butter Roti along with. <br/><br/>We really enjoyed once again and will definitely visit again.
Born To Eat
Had been with a friend for a dinner <br/>Tried there tandoori chicken, chicken masala with some roti <br/>Tandoori chicken is tasting like acchari chicken which was not good taste <br/>Chicken masala was good i liked the gravy and the breads were good
Rohit JV
I have been here once with one of my friends. The food is just average and the ambience not so great. The food isn't very pricey though definitely not cheap. So it is just worth a one time visit in my opinion.
Daljeet Chandra
Nice place to have barbecue.<br/>Price is also reasonable.<br/>Green apple mojito also good.<br/>Mocktails are good.<br/>Alfaham chicken best.<br/>You can give birthday party or any treat
Ankita
One of the best places to pamper yourself 😁 I went for my birthday celebration there. Honestly I had no idea about this place. But once the food came I knew I would go back to this place again. The shawarma rolls are stuffed with chicken n mayo. The food is excellent. I personally loved the fish preparation in starters it just melted away in the mouth. Rest everything was perfect. :)
Shreya Sah
Great food and service. Quick delivery. Friendly place and staff. Will order next time again when in Bamgalore. Great vegetable noodles and must try.
Jadheer Muhammed
Had been to Le Charcoal with Family after hearing lot of good reviews about this fine dining place from my colleagues and friends.<br/>Tried the corn fish, barbeque chicken and pepper barbeque chicken for starters. <br/>The corn fish was amazing and perfectly cooked. The barbeques were also great as expected it to be. The pita breads right fr their owen is a must try here which goes really well with the barbeques.<br/>Tried chicken noodles, murgh zaberdast ( as advised by the restuarant manager) and butter naan for the main course. The gravy was thick and creamy and had the perfect aroma. <br/>The Arabian cool juice, which i have heard is a must try here , is simply awesome. Its a perfect drink after a heavy meal and soothes your mind and body.<br/>Overall i loved the ambience, the service and of course the amazing food!<br/>Would love to visit again. :)

Food ( 4 )<br/>VFM ( 4 )<br/>Ambiance (3.5)<br/>Service ( 4 )<br/><br/>Good place to have Arabic style food in Bangalore.<br/>Portions r of decent size nd flavors are customised to Indian taste.<br/>Enjoyed Pita, Humus, Mutton chop .
Aparajita Deb
Great food at an affordable range. <br/>One should definately try the Shawarma Roll over there. Good Ambience but it will be very much crowded at weekend. Suitable to visit the place with family and friends.
Snigdha Rani Panda
we were about 10 people .we ordered Platter(Arabian) which the waiter told would server 7 members, is not even sufficient for 3 members. <br/>Also it is Overrated (1250) .<br/>Service was also not good.
M S Revathi
we were about 10 people .7 non-veg and 3 Veg.non-veg Platter(Arabian) which the waiter told would server 7 members, is hardly for 3 members. <br/>Also it is Overrated.Service was also not good.<br/>No AC also.
Varsha Anand
We came to this place for a birthday treat. We were around 14 people in number so it was little clumsy to get the seats. This place has little area for seating so we were sitting right next to the kitchen door. Hence we were disturbed a little by every movement of the waiters.<br/><br/>But, the chef himself was coming to every table and asking about food and the service. This gesture was good. <br/><br/>Since we were many in numbers, we ordered many items. Like Al Faham chicken, dragon chicken, crispy fired vegetables in the starters. Chicken was cooked till perfection and was very good. In gravy we ordered butter chicken gravy with stuffed kulcha, the combination was good and sumptuous. We also took chicken biryani whose quantity was good and had enough number of chicken pieces.<br/>Food and service here is good but this place is a little congested area wise.
Zabeer
Overall experience was good. We tried Arabian platter for starter and it was really good. You should try lemon coriander soup. Space is limited and parking is difficult. Service was good except for the juice and desserts which took unreasonably long time.
Ashraya Ashesh
It's Lebanese food is its charm.though I didn't lyk d Lebanese platter much ...Was kind of bland...The drinks were alright...Noodles was too spicy!
Narayanam Moukthik
Good place but not so good food according to the prices and their service is also not great . But on weekends It'll be packed and you can't get what ever you want.
Karthik M.N
Amazing food! Must try the chilli fish! It's bonkers! Chicken lollipop is saucy and awesome. I don't know what words I can use, but trust me they are just delicious! Staff are very nice and I recommend you try all their dishes if you can😅
Jibili Ashraf
Good but foods are little salty. Biriyani and fried rice are good. But starters are over salted. No space for parking. My rating is 3.8 to 4.
Arka Roy
Ordered Murgh tikka masala, they parcelled Ladies finger tikka masala. They are not ready to accept their fault & no apologies. keeps arguing for the same. I ordered before they didn't do like that. However this time worst experience.
Jaz Jel
Good place 4 dining. The restaurant is a small one and they have made the most of it with the tables arranged to the maximum extent. The ambience is fine. On a crowded day, u might feel a lil cramped here, being a small place.<br/>Regarding the food, the arabian dishes r good. Tried the Lebanese platter, which consisted of Al faham chicken, greek salad and hawaiian salad.. the latter was really nice and so, was the chicken.<br/>The service was prompt and good. The pricing is reasonable too. Lack of parking space in this area is a turn off.<br/>
Jenifer
Right place for those who want to experience Arabian or Lebanese cuisine. This place isn't over crowded. It's spacious. So if you are a large group of friends looking for a good spacious place in Koramanagala then do visit. Loved their Al Faham chicken and mutton biryani. Service was pretty decent. Good collection of items in the menu. Prices are reasonable. <br/><br/><br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>Service 4/5 <br/>Value for money 5/5
Vaibhav Aparimit
<br/>Pretty average food . Pretty surprised why does Zomato rating for this place is over 3.5. The restaurant is advertised as authentic Arabic restaurant but this is hardly the case
Ansula Mohanty
Ordered from here for first time...taste was impeccable. Had Chicken Alfam..which was juicy soft..and restuarant recommended for Zabardast Chicken :p..really it was zabardast..Every bite was satisfying my soul..Great taste :)
Sazeed Khan
Nice place with good food, service is also good but, not as I expected places like this, i will plan for a next visit and check the service wether that was the day i felt like or its same always !<br/>We did ot understan that the food was good but the restaurant was fully empty.<br/><br/>we were served stale round onion and lemon. Seems like it was kept from the surplus that was cut the night before. <br/><br/>eating stale onions is very bad as it attracts germs from the enviornment. I have read that grandmas used to advice keeping cut onions in the corner of houses when someone is unwell so that the onion attracts the germs and the person is relatively germ free. <br/>we ordered fresh onions which was served almost when we finished eating.<br/>Food was ok. First round of roti was hard and it beokr like a papad. ensuing rotis were not so bad. <br/>Chicken kolhapuri was ok. Portion was small. <br/><br/>Again there is no issues with food they serve great dishes and i tried huge verities here.
Amrish
Very good and decent restaurant . Located in prime food location.. had very nice food ...<br/><br/>Recommendation : Arabian dishes..<br/>Ambience : Good<br/>Service : Good<br/>Taste : Very Good<br/><br/>You should try Arabian food over here.. Very good Taste. Masala in not high in. Decent mix.👍🏻

Perfect for a pocket friendly lunch or dinner.the chicken was so well cooked and tasty n of course this mushroom masala was good too.<br/>Value for money-5/5<br/>Taste -4/5<br/>Quantity-5/5<br/>Ambience-4/5<br/>

Food was good.<br/><br/>For the love of God, please change your music playlist. It really gives you the vibe of a marriage reception (not something that we expected).<br/>

Nice food, specially the seafood section. Grilled section is also very good. Not pocket friendly however the prices are on the moderate side.
Michael Sequeira
Ordered Lebanese Shawarma roll , Andhra chicken biryani and American chopswey along with Arabian Barbeque chicken combination was tasty. Overall the experience was good through swiggy order was right on time.

Le charcoal had awesome food in its earlier avtaar as Aangan. We ate there almost every weekend. Now, in its new avtaar, the daals have become extra spicy, paneer has become too thin & u'll be lucky to find some decent paneer pieces in whichever paneer dish u order. Earlier, they used to have this awesome home-made achaar & vinegar onions as accompaniments, not those also not there. I dont know if u hv changed the chefs or whatever but its not good quality now.

Proper rotis made of wheat? This is the place. Been here several times. Located near JNC, this restaurant offers Arabic cuisine. But I always ended up with their Murgh Makhani (Butter chicken) and Tandoori Roti. The curry is apt for exactly two average people - 4/5 rotis. The gravy is not spectacularly great, it lacks the traditional sweetness and spices. And of course the aroma too. But one can always enjoy it in the air conditioned and pleasing ambiance of the space. Perhaps their iconic dish on the menu is a beverage - Arabian Cool. Apple juice with orange slices and mint. It does cool your body. Have also tried their BBQ chicken and pita bread. The latter is exceptionally soft and yum. Enjoyed it very much.

We went to le charcoal one Sunday night as part of a family dinner. We had reasons to grumble for being dragged there 1) it being so far from our place which is in Cooke town and 2)fear of not finding a parking in Koramangala. However, we came back from there vowing to return as soon as possible. We had the mezze platter, loads of salads, the mutton sheekh and all fahm as starter were cooked absolutely right with the meat succulent. We also immensely enjoyed the nargisi kofta curry with butter naans. We had a Loki ha halwa and gajjar ka halwa for dessert. Id recommended skipping dessert here and eating it at one of the other million options available at koromangla though this wasn't bad !

When u see this restaurant from outside, it feels like another mediocre restaurant. Come inside and you will be presently surprised. The tables are placed nicely, the staff is friendly and the food is is delicious. It is one of those restaurants where you go for a quick lunch with your colleagues. I have been to this place more than once and my regular food of choice is a phulka, mushroom chilly and kadai paneer. Its unfortunate that the card swipe machine here does not allow usage of an international credit card.

Food/Taste - 3.5/5<br/>Ambience & service - 3/5<br/>Value for money 4/5<br/><br/>We chanced upon this as there were very few places which were open past 11pm, n were pleasantly surprised by the food n quality at that hour. The Rahan chicken was amazing, paneer chilli starter was also good, but the chilli fish starter can be given a miss. For main course, the Kabsa chicken was mediocre, only having ordered this as the chicken was Rahan chicken. Veg option mutter paneer was really tasty n one of the best ones I've had. Overall good dining experience and will be back for the Rahan chicken which was the highlight.

Vivek Jha <br/>Have tried it twice and liked everything I had. <br/>chicken nargisi Kota, chef's special chicken and gajar halwa stood out. <br/>The staff are friendly and asked whether I like my food spicy, medium spicy and non spicy and I received it just as I asked. <br/>Only inconvenience is it is adjacent to JNC and so finding a parking place is a bit difficult. Definitely worth a try. <br/>Food 5(though I have tried only 7-8 dishes) <br/>Service 4<br/>Ambience 3.5<br/>

Located close to Jyoti Nivas College, Le Charcoal was a last minute panic find while we were originally planning to dine at Sufi's which suddenly shut down. Boy, I'll miss the food at Sufi's. But, this review isn't about Sufi's. It's about a new find, a new gem that we found in Le Charcoal. The ambience is standard, but the food and the cuisine have been the running trend in Bangalore for quite a while now. <br/><br/>Jumping straight to the food, the tawa fry fish, Schezwan Paneer, Afghani Chicken were all delish! You may or may not find these items when you visit but we were lucky to have them. (Look at the display before you order anything). However, the letdown was the chicken seekh! I knew it'd be a challenge for the restauranteers to produce a moist chicken seekh, and they failed as expected. It was dry and over seasoned. <br/><br/>Besides this, the butter naan was such a winner! The gravies were also good. I have no major complaints. Must visit :)
Manaf
Went there after Sunday shopping just to have a shawarma. Their tagline was about Lebanese taste, so felt like trying it even though I have tasted Lebanese food before. But the spicy shawarma was a big let down. The ambience was ok and we opted outdoor seating which I loved.

They basically are into Arabic cuisine but the vegetarian dishes are awesome too,but limited options though. I had al Faham Chicken with pita bread and chicken biryani . Al Faham chicken was awesome. Even the panner and dal makhni we ordered were very good. <br/>The staff were friendly and prompt.  The price is also very economical. Over all nice experience.

This place was there in my mind from past quite a month. Finally could visit with one of my friend. Anyway let's come to food. We ordered hot and sour soup, but the soup was extra sour because I think the soya sauce added was more. Then we ordered chicken lollipop(seeing the old review before ordering) and French fries but lollipop was not great. In the main course we ordered prawn Biriyani which was moderate to good I can say. Overall the food was average and the ambience was good.

This is one of the better shawarma joints in and around Koramangala. You can't go wrong with their Mexican shawarma's and their al faham chicken

I went to this place for a friend's birthday party. We ordered chicken lollipop and mushroom salt and pepper as starters. The lollipops were juicy and yummy. Mushroom was crispy and had a balance of spice and was really good. Then we ordered butter naan, murgh masala and murgh tikka masala in main course. Both the dishes were good and flavourful. Food was served in time and staff were friendly and good. Overall a nice experience.

Went for lunch today with my friend. The place was not that crowded for a Saturday lunch, so we got very comfortable seats. The staff was very helpful and we ordered their Lebanese platter. It was yummy and very filling for 2 people. Tried their chicken schezwan noodles, which was good too. Overall a nice place!

Food was too oily. The staff does not have the decency and hence remove already seated guest,so that fresh guest can be accommodated. Management sucks.

Very good restaurant for all kabab lovers I would say. Quite underrated for the quality of food they serve in the price they do. The place is also well decorated, clean and the service is very good. Try this out next time you are yearning for a hearty meal.
For The Love Of Food
Decided on having Lebanese food for lunch so asked for home delivery. The delivery took much longer than expected and I started running late for my meeting, so this review is based on quick gobbling down of everything, with poor comparison since I'm not sure which chicken dish was what from the two I ordered. Both were decent though. <br/>Order consisted of chicken aflaham, chicken BBQ pepper (the two were very similar and both were nice) the dip was amazing but I've had better khuboos/pita bread.<br/>Other than that there was Lebanese Shawarma and Mexican Shawarma, Lebanese was a lot better but they both were really small and thin for the price. <br/>Overall it was a decent experience and I'm happy there's a place in Koramangala itself where I can satisfy my Lebanese cravings from.

Been here last Friday. Nice ambience and very good positive atmosphere. However felt the price for Lebanese platter is too high for the quantity. Will be effective if it's 20-25% lesser. Food quality is good.

Love the lebanese shawarma here and the vegetarian falafel :) its yummy and worth a try. The shawarma here keeps making u come back for more. The service is nice and so is there mutton biriyani, where u actually get good mutton pieces :) and not jus one but more than a piece each:) what more can u ask for :)

Have been to this place twice and the experience has been positive on both occasions. Their Shawarma is quite good, certainly one of the best I've had in Bangalore. I've tried quite a few things on their menu, including the Mezze platter, Iraqi platter, Al faham with rice, Kabsa rice with chicken etc. The food was quite good and priced very reasonably. The service however was a little slow. Overall, the experience was positive and I would not mind going back.

The restaurant was not crowded, being a weekday for lunch. Since we went as a very large group we got to taste most of their specialities. The food was above average', not too good, but definitely not bad. Masala was balanced though i dont know about the quality of ingredients used. Food was properly cooked. The pricing was nominal. For about 15 people, bill was 6400 bucks. The service was good with courteous staffs. They should work on the ambience. For the kind of menu that they have, they could start buffet as well.

Not that bad. The ambience and serviceability is very good. Reasonable stuffs. Taste of the food varies from above average to good. I guess I need to try more things to judge this place. It was a good experience. Kebabs tastes nice.

Made us shift tables twice. Chicken was tough but the curry was decent. The place was cheap though. Still wouldn't come here unless I have nowhere to go.

You have to try the Al faham chicken there with their pita bread. It was just too good.<br/>Service was also awesome. Although I went on a weekday so it might be because if that too..but even then waiters were very well behaved. A good place for fine dining.<br/>We had ordered few more chicken curries and that were equally good. Am sure even veg people won't be disappointed.

A decent place with a good ambience. The food wasn't really out of the world or something. The chicken jalfarezi was good, rest of the fare was pretty regular and was a bit steep too.
Soumya Prakash
So, we ordered a lot of food, ranging from rice, roties, chicken dishes to veg curries. The food was really good. The place is also good. The price is also very economical. The staff is also very cordial.

Nice and delicious food. Situated in heart of bangalore... Koramangla. Chicken jalprezi must try, it's a out of menu dish.. Six serving dish. It's tempting appearance will unleash the hunger inside you. Yummy it was. Chicken lollipop in starters is the one you can prefer over all the starters available. Addon Pat bread with any curry. <br/><br/>Location : 4<br/>Ambience : 3.5<br/>Food : 4<br/>Staff : 4

Home delivered hummus from this place and what they delivered frustrated me. The hummus had totally gone bad. It was stale, sour, stinky and not edible. Surprised how restaurants even serve such substandard quality food. If I was sitting in the restaurant, I would have made them taste what they've served. Big disappointment

I am a fan of this restaurant. I like the AL faham chicken and the Shawarma. This is the best place where you can have amazing Shawarma roll. I choose the non spicy one. The chicken quantity is just amazing.

This place was the biggest shock of my life !<br/>Firstly as you can see from my reviews , we generally don't go to places that serve Indian food.<br/>Secondly - the area in which this restaurant has opened has a very bad reputation of being bad ( it's like that place is cursed )<br/>Boy was i wrong, we went in in a whim and were surprised to see the place PACKED to the brim !<br/>Figured , " Hey , so many ppl can't be wrong about their food right ? "<br/>So we sat down and ordered the most odd / flavorsome food in the world<br/>We ordered the Hummus , lamb shorba , al Faham Chicken , Tandoori Chicken and Mutton Sheek Kabab.<br/>I am surprised to tell you that all 5 dishes were great.<br/>The service was great !<br/>Our table was a little weird and small , couldnt hold the amount of food we had ordered 🙄<br/>This place is a must must go !<br/>If you walk past this place , you will regret it !<br/>

This place is good for all kinds of grilled chicken items and shavarma. You will fall in love with their pepper barbecue chicken. <br/><br/>Rest everything is average
