Review Yo! China - Bengaluru

I've started having the pork ribs from Yo! Chow, about 6 years ago. One evening, that I was a bit high and decided to treat myself with a random pork dish, via Zomato/Swiggy was when i met Yo Chow. It was unexpected and so random. As I had my first bite of the pork rib, it was like one of those moments. That love at first sight kind of moment. And then I would order this dish every other random night and finish it all by myself. After several such nights, I decided to share the love and I started introducing the pork rib dish to my friends. And since then, we all started sharing this one box of love. To me, the pork rib was not just a dish, it was more than that. It was instant therapy. It was my go to food, everytime I needed a therapist to speak to. And one rib would usually do the job of reviving me from the spiritual ditches that life throws us into. Only after several months did i realise that I was addicted and might need a pork rib rehabilitation centre to do the job and stop me from being a serial pork hogger. So, i decided to put a break on my habit and had to call it quits on our 'friends with benefits' kind of relationship. Now, a month ago, i again visited Yo Chow! And had some dishes including the very one dish that the rehabilitation centre mentions as the 'illegal score'. And it felt good to be back. It all feels the same and tastes the same. Whatever I tried this time, was just delicious and made me feel that my relationship with pork, was not made here. It one from the heavens.

This restaurant is situated at Marathalli. The ambience was good. I ordered chili pork and chicken chili garlic noodles both were average. The spicy mango mojito and Hoisin Chicken Bao were very good in taste. Though the service was little slow, the staff were extremely polite. Overall experience at the restaurant was good.

The spiciest noodles was told to be Chilli Garlic Noodles and it wasn't even that spicy a bit disappointed well made but something is missing the taste isn't awesome as expected. Mint mojito was good. Service is great as well.

Food served were fresh and tasty. Services are good. Ambience is good. Yet the price is reasonable. Preparation of food is live, one can see how his ordered food is prepared. You may relate taste of the food items with that of famous Chinese restaurants at China Town in Kolkata. The taste remained same, when visited again.

One of the best places to have sushi on a budget. If you're done paying the big bucks every time you have a sushi craving, you should visit this place. Each and every dish was awesome and the staff was courteous. Can't ask for anything more at this price point.

As an avid fan of Chinese cuisine, I was eager to explore their menu and experience the flavors of the Far East. I must say, I was not disappointed! The dishes were super tasty and spicy 🌶️ The restaurant offers an authentic and memorable dining experience that will leave you craving for more. Highly recommended!

Staff was damn good. Although I'm not a big fan of Thai or Chinese Food, I like the food overall. We asked for their song playlist and he helped us out to get that 😄. Thanks for everything.

I absolutely love dining at Yo Chow!! This restaurant has consistently delivered exceptional Chinese cuisine that my wife and I can't resist. The highlight of our visits has been their incredible sushi dishes, which Yo Chow introduced with finesse. The flavors are exquisite, and the presentation is top-notch. We're grateful to Yo Chow for adding this delightful twist to their menu, making every visit a memorable experience!

Awesome time spent at dinner with plenty of items. Tasted more of starters, soups and noodles and each of the item were at its best. Liked chicken drumsticks the most. Parking is available too. I would recommend everyone who is fond of Chinese dishes must visit this place without fails. I am sure the time spent will be rejoiced. Lastly, the staffs are too polite and have gratitude. Love you all to serve us with your hard work. Keep up the good work and maintain such excellence in future. I will surely visit again on some happening occasion.

Very nice Pan Asian food restaurant in Marathahalli. They have parking space. There were lot of guests and we were in queue. But they quickly arranged the seat and made us comfortable. The food was very good. Equally good is their service also. This has prompted us to visit the restaurant again.

Waiting time is little longer than usual restaurants but the food served was worth it!!!! Tried fruity sushi n steamed rice with Thai curry!!!!

I have been at this place couple of times. And every time the food was delicious. Service, ambiance and staff is really good. We ordered Veg and non-veg items including Sushi, sizzler’s, soups, chopsuey, fried rice with curries and wok tossed veggies.. each and every item was too good.

A good spot to get some Chinese food. They have a very limited set of items, as opposed to the expansive menu they provide. The dumplings were very tasty, and so were the sauces provided. Also tried the Hakka noodles and Schezwan noodles.. Both were tasty. Ambience is ok. Service was good.

The noodles were good, but I must say the ambiance was even better than the food. I had higher expectations for the taste, but it fell a bit short. Nonetheless, the pleasant atmosphere made the dining experience enjoyable. If you're looking for a great ambiance to relax and enjoy your meal, this place is worth a visit, though the food might not be as flavorful as you hoped.

Yo Chow is one of the best and authentic oriental cuisine I had in banglore. The place gives you a feeling of a chinatown restaurant. The dishes are really full of flavours, but not overpowering the actual ingredients and that's what I love about the food. Even the drinks served are really great and refreshing and not overly sweet. The berry mojito, the Oreo shake are recommended. The desserts are really great, fresh and delicious which includes sizzling brownie, brownie with vanilla ice cream are too good and have very moist and soft brownie. People who love lots of greens and proteins in their food will have no regrets. The servings are good enough for two people. If I’m asked to recommend few dishes, then they definitely have to be Stir Fried Asian Greens and Schezwan Chicken with Bamboo Shoot. The Stir Fried Asian Greens is loaded with a varieties of Asian Veggies like broccoli, babycorn, capsicum, Chinies cabbage, mushroom etc. I love the flavour of chopped garlic in it. I am a vegetarian. I ordered veg spring rolls from here, and some other dishes. After i collect the order, i pour all the items in one plate, to enjoy the meal. After taking one bite of spring roll I realise it was chicken spring roll. I was devastated. I had to give away all the food. Worst experience ever.<br/>I personally have nothing against people who eat meat. But i don't, and this was a violation of my beliefs.<br/>I had specifically added in the cooking instructions that make it as much vegan as possible, and i got served chicken.

i ordered for home delivery food from here. butter pepper garlic noodles was good. smoke chilli prawn so succulent and chicken manchow soup which was nice testy i reccomend this place for value for the money and testy food 😋

The noodles given for the American Chopsuey were like hard fried sticks, some of them over burned. Could not be eaten and this was not at all expected for a known restaurant such as this. The thai green curry was too pricey as there are plenty other restaurants that serve the same with rice included at a lesser price. <br/>Overall very bad experience. Worst chospuey we had though earlier the same restaurant served good Chopsuey.

Sent veg hakka noodles instead of chicken hakka noodles, called the restaurant and they are not ready to accept the mistake.. no idea which vegetarian person will be eating chicken tonight...

Though the qty was too much, the food did not taste good at all and the only option left was to trash it . Regret placing the order!

I clearly ask for non spicy food with no chili at all and the food was full of chili flakes every where. My daughter and I couldn’t eat any of the food ordered and my husband struggle a lot to eat a little. I’m very disappointed ☹️

Cool ambience for a chinese restaurant. I liked both the dimsums and the chinese dumplings. For dessert the brownie that I had was good. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Surprised by the amazing food served. Thanks to Mr. Balaram for suggesting the Chinese pepper and sour soup, filled with Chinese veggies right burst of flavours. The street style shrimp dimsums were delecate and stuffed with shrimp without compromising In flavours. Would visit back this place soon.

The cheese corn balls were served like the shape of onion pakkodas. Damn oily and could taste the corn flour as raw. Coming to the noodles, the noodles were also oily, mixed it badly with vegetables. The soup which I ordered with vegetables was bad, I mean vegetables were raw..was not at all easy to chew the veges in the soup. In all, it was like an Indian Chinese food.

The place has a comfortable seating arrangement and is spacious .<br/><br/>Coming to the food part, i can say, i had the best tom yum soup over all the places which i tried . The drums of heaven, smoked chilly prawns are some of the dishes you'll crave for ordering one more time. They need to improve on the drinks part specially the kiwi shake, though i loved the oreoshake a lot and which compensated and made my mood happy. Gyoza and the prawns hargao were also really nice and had a good smell and taste.<br/><br/>The service is great. Staff is good. Waiting time is less. If you are craving for Chinese and Thai food then Yo Chow is the place! A good place with nice ambience. You can come here with big groups too as its spacious. Walls are nicely decorated with frames and Japanese fan.<br/><br/>They have good options in Dimsums. The veg dumplings had a good stuffing of veggies and served hot. Taste was good and it was healthy too. Loved their veg schezwan mushroom too. The coating is perfect and soft. Just felt bit salty.<br/><br/>Noodles are prepared here with no preservatives. Taste was good with nice spices in it.<br/><br/>Veg spring roll was nice crispy served along with nice sauces. Feeling like gorging upon some Chinese food, Yo! Chow at Marathahalli is a great choice ! With a decent ambience to visit with your family, you will enjoy the enormous varieties of soups, starters, drinks and desserts they offer.<br/><br/>Every dish is tasty and distinct in taste, but they all have a tinge of Chinese flavor in them. It was very nice experience in this Chinese and Thai restaurant. It has with nice ambience, dim light, low music and also has good space for Team or bunch of people. The service was exceptional through out which made time spent here even better.<br/><br/>In drinks, The Passion Fruit Mojito and Spicy Mango Mojitos are really good to try. Both had intense flavor of ingredients used with near to perfect use of mint, ice and sugar.  The Alphanso mango was just ok in taste.<br/><br/>In Veg appetizers, loved the Honey Chili Potato which had less of sweetness with crunchy potato fries. Crispy Corn was also very good in taste but it was bit on plain side when it comes to taste, so ask for putting more spice when ordering. Spicy Basil Cottage cheese is one of the good dishes to try here in Veg. It was crispy, bit on spongy side with perfect Manchurian flavor. <br/><br/>Chinese Pizza in starter is must try for vegetarians. The stuffing, the bread and serving, everything was good for it. Loved the Duncan Veg Sizzler in main course which had variety of veggies prepared in Manchurian way, served hot with Noodles.It was zero spicy when it comes to flavor but combo tasted really good.<br/><br/>Sizzling Brownie in dessert was as good as in any good restaurant. Dead by Chocolate Jar in dessert was just ok in taste as it was more on drier side of a dessert, like a choco cake.  <br/><br/>The ambience is cozy and spacious and the service was really quick with very warm hospitality by every service staff.

Today I visited this place with my Family.We had ordered Veg spring Roll,Veg thupka soup,Veg sui Mai and Veg malha sizzler.Food and service was Excellent.

Ordered chicken hakka noodles( less spicy), amazing food here, so much chicken and eggs and vegetables loaded, quickest food delivery, very hygienic fresh food..<br/>I ordered at 2 am..still as fresh as ever..excited to try out other dishes here too..

If you looking for an authentic Chinese dinner this place is not the right solution.<br/>Chicken starter was good rest all veg items were average though ambience is nice with good music.<br/>Service is amazing.<br/>P.s- Place gets crowded after 8pm so better book your table in advance.<br/>Located on service road, Basement parking is available.<br/>Cheers & thanks!!!

Spicy Mango Mojito was no where near to Mango and Spicy Schezuan Noodles were not Good at all

I visited this place on Sunday night with my brother. We ordered chilli fried chicken, one bowl meal of schezwan sauce with rice and chicken dimsum. Chilli fried chicken had chilli flakes sprinked on it in the name of chilli. Chicken was hard and old. Bowl was ok. Dimsums had hard covering. And no dimsum sauce except for the regular ones. Service was slow as well.

Chilli garlic chicken noodle is awesome.<br/>Singapore noodles are good. The ambiance is so nice. Taste is overall good.

The ambience is neat and classy, the seating is comfy and place is a good hangout spot. The food was also delicious and tasty except that I would have like the noodles to be more long and thick. It tasted good only but I feel like I missed the noodles and do add the dragon chopsie! We need the spice! Other than that, it was a really great place with courteous staff members!

Quantity is small but worth it.. it was our first time and Balram was really helpful in deciding what to have and defined every dish in description so that we can decide.<br/><br/>Please don't order mocktails here...!!! It was bad but we mainly went for food so still 5 star... 😆

Had been to the place to try chinese. Both the manchow soup and the singapore noodles were good. Prices are also reasonable. So overall good place.

Courteous staffs, with amazing indo-chinese food.

I wasn’t keeping well so thought of going out and having some chinese food to give the body much required boost. This place is at walking distance from my residence so thought of going here. Ambience is typical red and black which is common for such cuisine. The food is nice, it is somewhere in between indian and authentic chinese. Balram is someone who took periodic feedback for all the dishes and ensured the service remains top notch.

Good place to enjoy.. staff was very good .. specially Balram..<br/>Coming towards food.. enjoyed fried rice (chicken), with fish in hit garlic sauce.. it was very good. Soup was little sour ..can't complain it was lemon coriander soup 😆

No flavour, no taste for the veg hakka noodles. Onions were not cooked, simply sliced an put on top of noodles without cooking. Disappointed. Will never order again from here.

Food was tasty. Place is mostly crowded. Overall dishes were oily. Fast service!

I really liked the taste here. We ordered tom yum soup, dimsums, veg spring roll, classic vegetable manchurian, veg chili garlic noodles. Everything tasted really good except noodles was little extra oily, which did not affect any taste. The staff is very attentive and their service is really good. Prices are reasonable and quality, quantity does justice. Overall, for chinese cusinine, I guess this is the best place for people around Sarjapur to Marathalli, I can go here again for my Chinese cuisine cravings.
