A pure vegetarian restaurant with multiple cuisine offering both a la carte and buffet options is now open in jayanagar and is a must visit if you're looking for a fine dine veg restaurant. Food and hospitality was amazing. Loved everything I tried here:)

This place is pure vegetarian and they have many options! Sahi puri is must! Also their moong daal halwa 😍 Service is slow, though there wasn’t much crowd the waiters were standing in one place and chit chatting. Need to call them multiple times for serving water or clearing the plates. They have two floors at J P nagar center, 2 nd floor is for buffet. Well maintained place. Only thing is they need to work in their cutlery.

The food at 1947 restaurant left much to be desired, as it turned out to be quite average. However, the ambiance was a highlight, with its charming decor taking us back to the year it's named after. The waiters added to the nostalgic experience, donning outfits that matched the theme of 1947. For starter I tried paneer tikka, which I found to be quite satisfying. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the butter naan and kadai mushroom. Unfortunately, the kadai mushroom failed to impress, as it lacked the flavorful punch I was hoping for. Later, I gave the dal khichdi a try, but it also fell short of expectations and turned out to be just average. In summary, while the ambiance and service were noteworthy, the overall dining experience at 1947 restaurant could be described as average due to the lackluster taste of some of their main course dishes

Nice place for vegetarian options of food. You have buffet and a la carte. The taste of the food is good. Ambience is also pleasant. The service was little slow compared to other restaurants. However the servers were really friendly and kind. Overall a good option for family get together.

A nice place for dine in , food is very decent and nice. Could been improved on main course. Price is medium. Atmosphere is very nice , vintage indian style.

We had ordered Malai Kofta, some mixed vegetable curry, naans, lime soda and tomato soup. The food was great and the service time was comparatively less as opposed to other restaurants.

My family visits here atleast twice in a quarter, it's good place for family with buffet options ,however I think they need to improve the starters variety , rest all good

I visited this place to explore Jain food and was surprised to find this place to be the best for Jain food in JP Nagar. I ordered crispy baby corn and Paneer masala, and it was perfect. I visited this place on Monday and this was not crowded, the service was nice and the staff suggested us the dishes to try in the Jain food options available with them.

The food was really amazing. My mom and I had a Table Served Buffet. A wide array of delicious vegetarian food, and Gopal, took care of us like family. Felt really good, great service, good and atmosphere for families.

Today was the 2nd time I went there. It was really good and of course enjoyed the food. It is like any other buffet but due to the pandemic, they instead served you the unlimited food. That did get a little awkward as it felt like next... Next... Next and next - you are in the main course - thats where I dint relate to our typical buffets. The food from the starters to the dessert was delicious and I do think they can experiment with their deserts.

All time favorite for good food and meeting place. Food is not spicy and light on the stomach. Advance reservations advised. The place also runs one for one buffet Monday through Friday which is very popular.

Quality of Food is good. Please speak to the manager about the service charge and tell them that it’s not mandatory to pay it.. Manager was kind enough to wave off the charges..
