Review Ganesh Grand Restaurant & Banquet Halls - Bengaluru

sagar
Decent restaurant. We reached restaurant at 2:55 PM just to hear North Indian close at 3 PM. Technically they should have served. Anyways we tried pav bhaji, mushroom noodles and panner 65. Pav Bhaji was fine, Mushroom noodles & Paneer 65 were very light flavored almost tasteless. Go for self service here as dine in welcomes you with beautiful view of vessels being washed and a toilet. Also ambience is no where matching to price we pay. Go to Udupi athithya just 500 mts from here.

We tried Kashmiri Naan which turned out to be a unexpected variation of naan. It's naan with fruit salad served with apple slices. The fruit salad contained application, banana, pineapple, pomegranate and slight crushed nut topping. Our another favourite s Masala Papad.

When, We are on Business Tour in Bangalore, During Lunch time we are taken food in Ganesh Grand Restaurant, It has Two floors, Ground floor for quick eating food like snacks, Idle and other south indian food. At First floor there was AC Servicer room, you can order food and eat at your time. Here you can found all over india's other state foods.

One of the best place for vegetarian food. Food is very tasty and very nominal. Kaju masala is one of the best curry dish fully loaded with cashews. Chinese dishes are also must try.

The hotel is a very neatly maintained and the food is good. Prices are reasonable. Has self service floor and service floor too. Staff are pleasantly mannered. Snacks like Sev Puri loaded with cashew and many other goodies. Seating capacity with self service hall on ground floor and a/c service hall on 1st floor. Parking available on road side only.

This is one of the bad place to have food at any time reason no taste in any cuisine. Restrooms are not clean. Staffs are very bad and dressed dirty in service hall. Iโ€™ll never visit this place.

This was in pending list from past many months, had heard nice things abt this place and decided to visit, whn v went thr, no continental,it was just North Indian and Chinese food, Well we started of with Veg Noodles soup, Soup was spicy and tangy and noodles was not good at all, so i drank just the soup, it had lot of oil smell, we followed up with Gobi and chilli baby corn, gobi was fried and had right mix of masala, chilli baby corn was spicy.ย

I loved there plates in which food was served , you see them in my images, love to buy them.ย

For main course we ordered stuffed kulcha, butter kulcha, Veg Kadai and Kofta curry, Stuffed Kulcha was very hard and dry , couldnot finish full.ย

But here comes the two best dishes, Tawa pulov, It was cooked so well, right mix of masala, lemon juice on the top, it was awesomeeeeee, would love to go there and eat this dish again.ย

For dessert, we ordered Titanic IceCream, You would love it seeing the picture, i would not explain anything about this, Picture Says it all..ย

5 * for Tawa Pulov and Titanic IceCream, Rest of the dinner was just Average !!!!!

I visited Ganesh Grand last week along with my family for dinner and we were quite happy with the overall service of the restaurant.
This restaurant is run by the famous Ganesh Sweets Chain of Chamrajpet fame.
The restaurant is a multi stored building which has party hall, AC seating dining area and Non AC seating ground floor section. We chose to dine in the ac lounge.
The interiors were bright and neatly maintained. We started of by ordering Baby Corn Manchrian which was crisp and medium spicy. Our next order was Butter Naan, Kulchas and Veg Kohlapuri.
The Naan and kulcha were very soft and buttery and the gravy was very rich and thick and was a delight.
Our next order was Tawa Pulav which was served alongside Raitha and was upto the expectation.
They serve good quality food and the pricing is very reasonable which makes it a very good and a dependable option.

Ambience - 4
Food quality - 4
Food quantity - 3.5
Staff - 3.5
Pricing - 4

Its situated in Chamrajpet. Both self service and service hall there. Ambience is ok but very low cleanliness. Food is ok. Prices are not high. Taste is just ok.

We ended up here by chance. The hotel is well-lit and airy, sufficiently clean too. It is a typical all-inclusive darshini mode. There is north indian, south indian, chats, juices, sweets, juices, condiments and icecream too - all well organized.
Prices are reasonable and the self service model makes it quick.
3 of us took to different dosas and only 1 was concluded below par. Coffee was good as expected.
Cant be very conclusive just by eating dosas but this is my review.

May be this looks like this is from the makers of Ganesh Sweets... Ganesh Sweets is one of the very popular sweet store at Chamarajpet famous for Mysorepak.. Heard about Ganesh Grand from business friends and relatives.. Tried it recently so I can add one more review... The place looks good as its newly built and attractive paint combination.. The ground floor self service, first floor AC service and I hope they have part hall the other floor... There are no good restaurants at Chamarajpet and this looks promising, if they can well manage it.. My first impression on my first visit was the self service area was full with people and had to hunt for place to sit.. The place could be much cleaner.. Service can be improved.. Food did not disappoint me though..
