I ordered food online from this restaurant so can't comment anything on the service and ambience.<br/>But I ordered 2 dishes from this palce one was Tangdi kebab and one was chilli chicken and both were having issues.<br/>Firstly I received oil fried chicken leg pieces in stead of Tangdi kebab and this is not at all expected from a dhaba style restaurant.<br/>Secondly chilli chicken of hardly 10-12 pieces of boneless chciken was containing more than 10 chilli pieces which made it uneatbale.<br/><br/>Very poor experience.
Bhavana Temburkar
Ordered chole bhature, bhature was blanket sized thick and cold. Chhole was okkay , i can cook better than that.
Sandeep Kumar
ordered from this dhaba, worst experience even i can cook 10 time better then that what they serve. I hope they will improve quality of their food

Superbly nice place... After long time I had a nice north indian food... U must try there bhindi and dal😋😋😋... Remind me of my home every time...

Pocket friendly, delicious at times. My problem with them is inconsistency. There was once when I ordered the Rogan Josh, just mind blowing kept ordering it 3 more time and every time it was of a different taste. Other than that I’ve been happy with their portion and taste :-)

Amazing food. Authentic sarson da saag and makki ki roti. Although quantity is less but the taste makes up for it. Ordered online and just loved the saag.<br/>
Pooja Punjabi
The food this good but the quantity isn't that great for the price being paid, quantity of gravy and starter both are not that great. Not an exciting experience
Anupam Sehgal
Ordered the chicken tikka roll , paneer tikka roll , aloo jeera , dal & onion pakora ! Chicken tikka roll was nice , paneer roll a tad dry , dal fry was average & the aloo jeera was nice , but the potatoes could be slightly better cooked . Overall a good experience

Was looking for some decent food but the delivery from Danny's turned out to be very unsatisfactory. I ordered a chicken roll, chicken stuffed paratha and some chicken kabab. Chicken stuffed paratha was the only thing that was just about average. Meaning there was some chicken in it. Though it had absolutely no taste or flavors of any sort. The chicken roll was not just not tasty but had a very obnoxious after - odor. The size of the roll was small to say the least and the quantity of stuffing in it was even less. Anyways that didn't matter cause after the first bite I had to throw it away. The chicken kababs (four of them) were as big as the 2 rupee coin each, were hard and chewy and eminently flavorless and tasteless.<br/><br/>All in all this place is highly avoidable because it doesn't seem like they much care about the quality or quantity of their food. Their target market may be folks that have the munchies (due to whatever reasons) and will eat just about anything.

very good.

Being a Punjabi , I can say this is the best Punjabi dhaba I've ever been to. Butter naan tastes as perfect as it should be , paneer makhani is love here , chilli chicken and butter chicken tastes delicious . Biryani will definitely remind you of your mum . A budget friendly place where quality of the food is given importance . Take your family along , I'm sure they'll love it too .
Mallika Ramesh
Pls tell the restaurant cook to put less salt all the dishes were salty

My favourite place to go grab a plate of biriyani , this place is been there since I was a child and the consistency of the food remains unchanged ! I’d recommend this place
Sushree Dash
Go to this place if you are really craving for lean protein becuz the chicken you get here is really lean. The tikka size is like a small pebble. Biriyani is okay.

Pretty decent tasting food in okaish quantity. Not great on ambience and a not very pleasant or courteous owner. Opted for veg the kebabs were not good at all while the kohlapuri was average. The malai kofta I enjoyed.
Shamlyn Fernandes
This is a budget friendly place for students. I and the aloo paratha and chilli tikka. The parathas were huge and it's pretty good. This place has the most basic ambience, plastic chairs and tables as it's a budget friendly place. It's quick, cheap and tasty.

For starters, it's not a place to go with family and stuff as it's in a very secluded area within the Indiranagar BDA complex. We went there as we were looking for good Punjabi food. We ordered one plate of chicken patiala, one kadhai paneer, one plate of rice and bread items. The chicken dish was very very spicy even though I love spicy food. It had lots of green chillies. Otherwise it was tasty. Kadhai paneer was a bit bland for our liking. Bread items were fresh and hot as expected. Add to these a bottle of water and 500 ml of coke, we got the total bill as Rs. 620 for 3 people.<br/><br/>Pricing is a tad expensive compared to the quantity they offer. Though I have tasted quite a good number of their dishes while ordering at home through Swiggy or Foodpanda, I am not too impressed with their quantity of gravy items.
Praveen Kamath
Tucked inside the Indiranagar bda complex this place serves some delicious dishes. From combos to thaalis they have it all. Take a thaali n a coke, and you are good to go.

Normal Dhaba food but very over priced. Half of the things were not available when we ordered. The chicken starter was over cooked. The food was very normal nothing extraordinary but the prices was like a big restaurant everything above rs.180. The place is small and less light. If the price was lower a lot of people would have eaten but due to the price no one can come and eat daily.
Ankita Gandhi
This was our go to joint for a very long time. <br/><br/>Good food, decent choice available. Prices for sure do not go with the setup but the portion sizes are good. The staff is not too warm.
Sunitha Pai
I made a meal out of quarter chicken tandoori and paneer pakoras. Both tasted good. Quarter comes with just 2 pieces and it is sufficient chicken if you are a single person and there are other dishes. The paneer pakoras were half paneer and half just besan atta but had right amount of green chillies and ginger. Can't say about ambience coz i had ordered home delivery.
Somya
No water for drinking. Tasteless starters. It had only chilli. 90% of their menu was not available. It is a waste of time. They should close this restaurant.

Ordered for Mutton Biryani which was not as good as it should be. I felt disappointed not just in terms of taste bit also service which was very pathetic. Most irritating of all is that they charge 10 extra foe each parcel. Everything was under par except ambiance. <br/>Taste 2/5, Service 2.5/5, Value for money 2/5 and Ambiance 3.5/5.
Ashwin
Ordered from this dhaba a week back. Being a punjabi dhaba I expected authentic punjabi taste..but I was disappointed. The taste was very average but the quantity was good. Order only if you are very hungry and want to fill ur stomach 😂
Rajkiran Sattigeri
Open air ambience.....<br/>Food quality and quantity is quite good<br/>Plastic chairs are used for seating...(Doesn matter much though)<br/>Prices charged are not really so competitive...especially wen u have other punjabi restaurants... <br/>Not bad for a one time try!
Krishna Prasad
One of the few Dhabas in BLR which give the authentic taste, service and most importantly open air ambience.<br/><br/>Last time I had come here was 10 years ago and I happy to note that they have maintained the taste consistently. One sits outside, in the Indiranagar BDA compound. So I suggest Dinners are the best, as there won't be any hustle-bustle or crowds.<br/><br/>Lastly the service is quick, courteous and very accommodating.
Kunal Dadlani
Well , use the name Punjabi and your restaurent will run in bangalore, well this is such a place, the food is average by any standards and the service is worse by every standard . The owner thinks he is doing a favour by serving the customers.<br/><br/>You order food and forget for an hour and then shout for getting your food , the owner and waiter will think they are serving you for free in a langar.<br/><br/>In the end if you pay by card u pay 2% extra , i donno how such people survive in bangalore.<br/><br/>Avoid it , there are too many places to visit in the vicinity , this one isnt worth.
Anirudh Ramprasad
well the ambiance is unpleasant usual plays a physiological affect in the mind however looking past that the service is not bad but could improve in dining . Food i ordered were Hyderabadi panner , vegetable bikahneer and black gram with roti i felt the Hyderabadi panner was a bit too sweet and black gram was having a burnt flavour to it the only plus was the vegetable bikahneer on the whole it was descent food
Snehasis Ghosh
The review is only for the delivery and not for seating.  Well the food has always been extremely delicious. Finger licking good.  However the gravy items are full of oil. So forget about your diet.<br/><br/>The delivery has always been on point and mostly on time.
Anshuman
Well how much delicious food you serve if you are not up to the service standard then its a problem. This one is located in indiranagar BDA. The food is good in terms of taste and quantity. But the service is a big let down. Its on auto pilot mode. You need to call/shout for additional order. On top of that the owner thinks he is doing a favour to customers by serving them food. The attitude is lackadaisical. On top of they charge you extra if you pay by card. <br/>With abundant options available in the vicinity this place should be avoided.
Biswajeet Khuntia
Been here couple of times, food is ok but service is pathetic..on the top of that they charge extra for debit card. The attitude of the owner is like he has done a favour by serving you the food...
Madhurima Mukhopadhyay
We regularly order from here. The food is awesome and the service is brilliant too. Even if we order just one plate of chicken and phulkas they deliver with a smile. <br/>Very tasty and authentic north indian food (a rarity in Bangalore!). Highly recommend this joint to everyone. <br/>Ps- ask for suggestions. They'll recommend the very best they have :)

I have ordered from Danny Lambas online numerous times. Food quality is pretty good which obviously makes me come back to this restaurant every time I want to order online. Very good and on time delivery. Keep it up.
Shaheli Chaudhuri
One of the best and quick service I have seen. Very humble approach and food is mind blowing. Authentic North Indian and very reasonable. Whether its pick up or home delivery you can go for it. P.S: If u really like spicy thn go for Chicken Kohlapuri.
Sree Prakash
Authentic punjabi taste with hygienic packing. The orders reach on time (45 min - 1 hour). Love the chicken bhartha boneless which goes awesome with the really soft Phulka. The dal tadka was really good (my wife who does not like dal loved it). Owner is real cool and delivers himself most of the time.
Utkarsh Dev
The seating is both in open and closed. Typically a simple and cool dhaba. There is nothing fancy but when you will taste their food, you will appreciate why I rated them as 3.5 coz there are very few places in Bangalore that have can bring good North Indian food to Bangalore.<br/>They have reasonable rates though great food taste.<br/>Its at very chill place in Indira Nagar. Must be visited if you are from North India.

Best place to have punjabi/Dhabha food in and around Indiranagar .<br/><br/>Usually crowded around noon and evening.Food taste remained consistent across the years i have been visiting this place.
Anant
Lovely food. Almost all the items we tried were good. Special mention goes to punjabi dal and jeera rice. These are a must in all our orders. The delivery system is a little disappointing. Better to visit the place and enjoy the romantic night in their outer seating space.

Online Order: 1 x Mutton Chilli Pepper Dry, 2 x Garlic Naan and 1 x Rajma<br/>Delivery Time: More than 45 minutes<br/>Food quality: Pathetic, I mean it.<br/>Food Quantity: The greedy resto owner charged too much<br/><br/>Review: <br/>1. We ordered mutton chilli pepper dry but got mutton chilli dry! No Pepper<br/>2. Garlic Naan's were not roasted properly, They were very thick like card board paper<br/>3. Rajma was just blunt, No salt No spices Nothing!<br/>4. The quantity was so small for Mutton Chilli dry, it was hardly enough for 1 person, The price was Rs.220 which totally not worth and it was worth of half KG mutton<br/>5. Rajma was too much and got wasted because of its authentic sh**t quality<br/><br/>I m a vegan but my colleagues really hated the food! Fk u

A really nice place to go for a regular lunch. Its value for money.<br/><br/>Love their rotis and vegetarian dishes. Aloo Jeera is almost always yum. And their serving of Punjabi Dal is out of this world.<br/><br/>Costs nothing more than 150 bucks for a heavy lunch.
Puja Lunani
The place isn't much to look at. But when the food's that great, who cares what the place looks like! Typical spicy Punjabi khaana. The Kali dal and butter chicken are mouth watering! I'm in a food coma and can barely think straight. Amazingly good food with exceptionally huge portions along with very polite and quick service.

The Danny Lambas Punjabi Dhaba experience --> Terrible. Period.I am almost embarrassed to mention that DLPD has been on my wishlist for weeks now.<br/><br/>Located on the outer wing of the Indiranagar complex off Old Madras road, I would have thought that DLPD would have exploited this fantastic location right opposite the pick up point for a lot of outstation buses. This was not the case as there were very few customers around at the peak time for boarding a bus (around 10PM)<br/>Along with 2 companions, I headed there after downing a couple of quick beers, in a tipsy condition perfectly favorable for approving even the worst of food offerings.<br/>Apart from an average Mutton Roghan Josh, everything that we ordered, bordered on unpalatable!<br/>We started off with some Tangdi Kebabs and Chicken Tikkas. I'm certain that the chicken used in the Tangdi Kebabs had died of old age and post-mortem, spent a considerable amount of time in a semi cooked state before being finally thrust into the tandoor one last time and served at our table. And this was considerably better than the Chicken Tikkas which seemed to have been marinated to a point that the marinade had gone putrid.<br/>We also ordered a portion of daal makhani - a standard dish at a Punjabi Dhaba - which was extremely watery and insipid.<br/>And since I am a sucker for Kheema Naans, I ordered one of those as well and was deeply disappointed. What came to the table was an oily, scrawny little tawa paratha (note: not a Naan) with an almost non existent filling of a meat I couldn't identify. (Wouldn't have been surprised if it was chicken also)<br/>The Roti was the saving grace to the establishment and the best item on our table - hot, crisp and tasty - and this went well with the Roghan Josh.<br/>At the end of this terrible experience, I was left thoroughly embarrassed, disappointed and of course, sober!

Best Punjabi food place in the area!! These guys make a world class rajma (a personal fave), arguably the best chole in town, the dry veggies are superb too. Friends who have ordered the chicken kalimirch: achari on occasion have had no cause for complaint at all. <br/><br/>The paranthas are brilliant too. And they listen to you if you ask them to not put much oil. <br/><br/>They make superior curd stuff. Lassi, buttermilk, raitas - all absolutely lovely<br/><br/>What tops everything is the speed of service-either when eating in or when ordering take away. And the folks who run the place are friendly and have the memory of a herd of elephants - they'll remember what you favour, extrapolate on that basis what else you might like, and give you tips like, "why don't you order in on the phone on the way here and cut down waiting time"<br/><br/>All in all, Punjabi food craving? Head here with confidence. They've been in the business for so long, they're the pro pros

Ordered Mutton Rogan josh and bread. The delivery was on time. Mutton Rogan josh was good with right amount spices. Quantity was sufficient for two people. One of the few budget options in Indiranagar 100 ft area. Will try other dishes next time around.<br/><br/>Ordered through just eat and got 40% discount via July coupon.

Whenever we want delivery to our office in Indiranagar, if it is Punjabi cuisine we are craving then it is Danny Lambas Punjabi Dhaba.<br/><br/>Nothing great about the food. Simple and wholesome dishes. Ever since we searched for punjabi food in Indiranagar at Zomato - where else - we stumbled upon this place. That was six months ago and here we are - still ordering dinner from this place not because we love it but well, we are familiar with it.<br/><br/>What would I recommend: Paneer Makhani which turned out quite good. The Chicken Kadhai and the Chicken Lahori which go really well with the naan or my personal choice - the roomali roti. The tandoori chicken is good. Mutton dishes are not bad either although have tasted only two items in this category - Mutton masala and the mutton patiala.<br/><br/>A word of caution though: the place is nothing great to look at and the hygiene is questionable. The quantity of the non-vegetarian dishes might look good but that is if you consider the excess amount of curry thrown in to make up for the chicken or mutton pieces.<br/><br/>Service might take some time. If you can avoid the rice items...nothing great about them...they all taste alike.<br/><br/>Cannot finish this review without this fact...if you order from this place...just be ready to be pinged by the owner on whatsapp enquiring about the taste of the food. Funny, really funny!

This Place was a great surprise and satisfying when I was told about it a few months back. homestyle good Punjabi food. When asked to make with less (Dhabaness) Oil etc, they do so. A few days ago ordered during a busy Saturday night (waited 45 mins for pickup not deliver) Chicken Tikka Masala (make note if you do not specify that you want actual Chicken Tikka pieces like a normal chicken Tikka Masala you won't get it) you would get what they claim to be chicken Tikka which is shreds/pieces taken of a tandoori chicken leg or something. so make sure u ask specific for chicken Tikka pieces in your dish which he charges more for. Second, orderd a Malai Kofta, which was awesome but on the spicy side, ordered it again today and it was completely different, loaded with Oil butter ghee whatever else that you wouldnt want in your body in excess. Never dare try but I thought hey maybe the Chinese which when asked over the phone he is very proud of is worth taking a chance. chikkin chilli and egg fried rice. rice was good, hard to go wrong, chicken chilli was a BIG mistake. it was more of a shred of a piece of chicken battered to death and fried (that's how each piece was) saut?ed in onion and chilli with a ok ok taste but nothing Chinese. the sad part here is if you directed each pice you would see that most of the piece is batter and there's a mere shred/particle of old chicken. probably whatever was left on the bones of his tandoor chicken. you could even taste the oldness of the little meet you got in each bite. this was very disappointing as I really enjoyed the meal ordered last week, but tonight it was an extreme disappointment. Naan, romali etc are all fine, but the drastic change in what I got a week agao on a weekend vs what I got tonight on a weekday evening was unacceptable. If the owner is reading this, I would rather not call you and share my feedback, as probably wouldn't be happy and doubt my intention being so proud during ur calls when taking an order. last time I was happy that ur proudness about your food turned out well, but tonight extremely disappointed.

If you want to have the taste of Ghar ka Khana try DANNY LAMBAS PUNJABI DHABA. I feel its one among the tasty foods available in and around Indiranagar.
Amit Singhal
I order with you guys almost every day and have no plan of not doing so lately. Food is awesome, even better than many restaurants in Delhi/Punjab. The owner delivers your food himself, takes the full ownership and commits on time. He speaks fluent english, hence no problem in communicating the way to your place. Mr. Sanjeev you are doing a nice job here. Thanks Danny Lambas :)
C
the tandoori chicken is done to perfection each time, and is the perfect healthy dinner by itself.<br/>they don't serve onions anymore with it though, which is a shame. this dish alone is vfm here. everything else seems over priced and badly done. the chicken pieces are pre done and thrown into whichever curry you have ordered most of which taste similar to each other. again the prices are hardly dhaba like. but the hygiene is exactly dhaba like- questionable. they have only one server, and even though he is pretty efficient, food takes a while to arrive. so apart from the tandoori chicken, i would avoid this place.
