Small place with an average food. Nothing special about this place. The man on the counter is always busy in watching TV, he's least bothered about the customers. The service is very poor similar to food, taste, quality, ambience and hygiene. If you have nowhere to go then only visit this place otherwise there are many options.

Order gets cancelled after 1 hr. Never order from this restaurant and even try using zomato app.<br/><br/>What the hell you guys were preparing in kitchen for an HR. <br/><br/>Just don't confirm the order if u cant deliver in first place.

Very average food,the decor is kinda ok,nothing great.if you don't have any options you can go there.the staffs are least bothered,they take forever to even take the order.you have to ask for water or else you won't get it.only good thing about the restaurant is that its vegetarian or else i would never go there.

Used to be awesome when their rajasthani thali was great. Nowadays it's a regular restaurant without any special dishes to talk about. You can visit it occasionally for some regular stuff, that's all.

We had ordered home delivery a few times from Rasoi. The items were paneer tikka biryani, tomato soup, Channa masala, rajma masala, phulkas. Coming to the food, <br/>Paneer tikka biryani was very spicy and had very few pieces of paneer in it.<br/>Tomato soup was yummy. Will definitely try it again.<br/>Channa masala and rajma masala tasted same. The same gravy base has been used for both the curries.<br/>Phulkas were soft . Will definitely think twice before ordering from this restaurant henceforth.

Found insect/cockroach in food, not that great!! apart from this i don't have to say anything.<br/>staff is good, service is ok. place is reachable.

I've been there a few times. The food was never great but paneer coming from the tandoor wasn't bad - given the prices. <br/>The place was redone a week ago and even though the ambiance has improved, sadly the food hasn't even though the prices have shot up.<br/>In my last visit, I had the thali for lunch which consisted of dal(3/5), dahi(2/5 - too sour), papadam(1/5 - dripping with oil, why not do a roasted papad instead?), 'curry'(1/5 - why mix chana and rajma, that too in a terrible gravy), aloo gobhi(2/5 - pudina doesn't go well with gobhi in my opinion), rotis(1/5 - even though they are somewhat difficult to mess up, the tandoori rotis were a bit too thick in the middle, and yet hard probably due to low tandoor temperatures and a dry dough).

A decent place to try. Been here for takeaways a couple of times & should say though not high on taste buds but good enough & edible to say north Indian food. Ordered dals & sabzi (dnt remember which), rotis & rice & felt the quantity was good enough. Coming to place a rather large unkept hall so thought takeaways would be better. The funny thing is all the time i have been here i have seen some confusion between the swiggy guy, the bill counter guy & the chef. So make sure what u order is confirmed. Eat good spread luv.

Ordered the food through swigy. We ordered a veg biryani a paneer biryani and a paneer butter masala <br/>The packaging was average as the food was coming out. The paneer biryani was average so was the veg biryani, the paneer butter masala was very poor no masala very tasteless. We had a bad dinner overall .

To be honest I am little disappointed to see the overall rating of this restaurant. It's a little place which mainly serves North Indian cuisines. I have mostly ordered home delivery from this place, service was average. Their roti and phulka remained very soft even after 40 minutes delivery time. Which is worth mentioning I believe. Some of the gobi and green pease items were really good. However, there is a lot of inconsistency in the taste which makes me think twice before ordering every-time.

Good, standard North Indian food. A good option, if you live in or near Kasturi Nagar. <br/><br/>This eatery is small, with seating space for about 20 only. Most of the time therefore, we order in from here. The food is delivered in around 30 to 35 minutes. Thankfully, it remains hot till the time it reaches my doorstep. <br/><br/>If you plan to dine in, expect just standard service. The ambience is simple and comfortable; slightly cozy too. <br/><br/>Now, on to the food. <br/><br/>Most of the dishes on the all-veg menu are made well. The ones that are especially good are (and I am saying this after eating here many times): Veg Patiala (an interesting dish that has vegetable mince stuffed inside roasted papad and rolled; then dunked in a thick gravy), Veg Hariyali, Garlic Naan, Lachcha Paratha, Dal Palak, Pindi Channa, Achari Paneer and Aloo Jeera. <br/><br/>From the list of starters, the Paneer Tikka Masala and Adrak Paneer Tikka are perhaps the best. <br/><br/>They keep the oil content in the food at a reasonable level. However, they overdo the spice in some of the gravies; so, just make your preferences clear at the time of ordering.

Few days back, I ordered their Thali for lunch from Swiggy. It is decently priced (140 Rs including Swiggy's delivery charges).<br/><br/>It had aloo matar sabzi, dal, korma kind of sabzi, tandoori roti, rice , curd, papad. The aloo matar sabzi and tandoori roti was decent. Otherwise nothing else was even ok. <br/><br/>Next time I may try normal sabzi roti stuff but I do not think I am going to order thali from this place again, even for that price, I expected some decent food.

This is one of the worst food i ever had . I ordered so much food since i had my parents visiting me . I specifically mentioned less spicy and what came was pathetic . All the curry was full of chilly , chilly and chilly. All types of chilly red green and what not . All the curry was infact chilly gravy with other ingredients .we had tp throw all the food mid way in our meal . I would never suggest anyone to order or eat from here . Total waste of money . Just in case u want to have a chilly potty the next morning u may eat here

A small eating joint located in Kasturinagar, serving some decent North Indian cuisines. I went to this place for dinner on a weekday. The place was not crowded with only one or two tables occupied. The restaurant is not very big & has a seating capacity of around 20 people.<br/>It is a pure vegetarian restaurant with menu consisting of mainly North Indian items. I ordered Thali. It had Rice, Tandoori Roti, Dal, Two Vegetables & Curd. The taste was average but the good thing was the quantity, it's more than enough for one person. I would suggest replacing Tandoori Roti by normal Chapati, as this would make the meal more balanced & healthier. Overall the food was okay, one can give it a try.<br/>The place doesn't have much staff, one person takes the order and serves the food as well. The wait time for my order was around 15 Mins. The service is not that great according to me. The place was clean & tidy. It's a small budget restaurant hence no fancy decor or lighting. I had ordered food online using Swiggy. Their food is fresh and tastes very good. It was served hot and the quantity is very good. One portion would be good enough for 2 people. Had ordered Veg Kofta and Naan.<br/>This place would be the place I would want my food to come from when my cook takes an off.

Tried this about 2 years back and was not impressed much. Decided to give it another shot yesterday. Ordered Alu Gobi and Veg Kofta with Rotis - home delivery. Both of them were pathetic, same kind of masala and way too much spice. I don't know if we ordered the wrong stuff but our experience was ruined.

Such a waste of money..dnt ever go to dere...dey serve stale food..no proper staff service and dey hardly care for the customers...ambience is equally bad. Plz dnt go :)

Ordered paneer burji and kulcha. They served paneer burji with BIG sized tomatoes, which had not been fried properly. The kulcha's were in fact naan's masquerading as kulcha. When I showed a picture of a kulcha from wikipedia on my phone, they waiter ( he was from Guwahati) insisted that it was a kulcha from of all places, Delhi. When informed that Delhi kulchas were not like that, the guy changed track to insist that it was from Gujarat. Spoiled our dinner completely.<br/>The naans were like papads. End of story. Ordered food through swiggy , had ordered a thali and a paneer tikka biryani .<br/>The biryani was good but with the thali the rice was missing and adding to that one of the veggies was spoiled and was smelling, this was my first time with the rasoi and will be my last time with them .

Wow it's bright in here! They really need to lower the lighting in here. This is a 100% North Indian Veg restaurant. I always prefer the simple Thali here (Rs.100), comes with couple of rotis, dal, veg curry, dry veg, curd and a tiny bowl of rice. It may not fill you completely but should be just about enough. Do try the Soya chunks items when available, not many restaurants offer these in the locality. <br/>The service is lousy and really really slow, it does state it can take 20 mins for our orders to be delivered but it has exceeded 20 mins many a time. This place has seating capacity of around 20-25, a decent option for families as this place is always clean too.

Decent veg food but pathetic service and attitude. <br/>The food at this place is good but staff and management doesn't believe in customer service and satisfaction. I ordered for home delivery, which never reached. Whenever I call to check the status, the guy would say reaching in 10 mins but never came. Why do you take orders when you can't deliver? <br/>I did dine in a few times as well and there also service is pretty ordinary. The waiter seems to be least interested in serving food. <br/>I will never recommend this place to anyone just because they don't know how to treat customers.

Used to order from this place a lot a few years ago, but then the management of the place just deteriorated. Tried this place again now  & I was delighted to see the old quality back :)<br/><br/>The food is good proper desi & far far better then mast kalandar. The quantity is good for the price & you get that light delicious homey style. All in all do maintain the quality & start home delivery soon :)

Right opposite the newly opened mast kalandar and slap next to curries and pickles, this is amongst the most easily recognisable places to eat in kasturi nagar. They serve proper vegetarian north indian dishes in a very traditional way. Their thalis are something to die for given that for a hundred bucks you can leave the place satisfied and full of content. They serve a big bowl of rice along with two veggie items, curd, papad and not to miss the tandoori rotis too. Everyday the veggies keep changing and they always seem to get the combination right to go along with other items served. Apart from the thali the paranthas too are worth mentioning and dont cost you much. Only bad thing about the place is that they take too much time to serve and ambiance wise its very poor and too bright on the inside. Service is decent and if you want to have something pretty cheap then this is one outlet you must not miss!!

This unassuming and surprisingly great place is right in the middle of Kasturi Nagar. You see it from outside and you see the menu, there is nothing much that will wow you. But if you are looking for a better than decent place for some good vegetarian desi food, this place will hit all the right bells.<br/><br/>I tried the paneer tikka masala and the veg handi. Both were ample and delicious. Next time you are in the area, hit this place up. Oh, and trust me, it's so much better than the mast kalandar on the opposite side of the road.
