Review Creme And Crust - Bengaluru

Stan Mathew Memana
The breakfast destination. Yumm! They offer a wide variety of breakfasts to choose from and that too all day along. What more you could ask for to get over your hangover. Nice and quite part of the city. The ambiance of restaurants is nice and staff behavior is welcoming.

Went to hang out with a friend on a lazy sunday. Thr plan was to sit, eat n just chill. Thats exactly what we got here. My frnd ordered this All American Breakfast and I opted for Regular Mexican Omlette. All the beautiful dishes, well presented n of awesome taste. Just savour it. If you like eggs and if u like break-fast... This is the place.

Beef bolognese pasta was yummy, could get the taste of well prepared minced beef. Most importantly, it was filling. The fruit pancake was a perfect dessert for the dinner. Visited this restaurant multiple times and is now one of my most preferred hangouts in Bangalore. You can try their burgers/pasta for sure.
Rhoda Bincy
Yummy food, courteous staff and a warm ambience. Must try.
Prabesh Khadka
They serve really good cakes and pastries. The ambience is also pretty cool

A very good restaurant... Tasty food. Breakfast is available throughout the day. The ambience is super awesome. Proper American Spanish breakfast with a variety of bread, chicken, potato, baked beans, chocolate, coffee, shakes, etc.. A must visit place in Indira nagar.
Shreya Jaiswal
American breakfast and Spanish breakfast are a must try. Very filling and reasonable.

Good food and great ambience with great music. It's been my favorite place for a while now but I have reduced my visits because of the staff which has become a little laid back now. Over all it's a good place to spend sometime.

A warm & cozy hang out. Delicious Menu. Very filling portions. I love it. Creamy Mushroom soup, Omelettes, Sandwiches are my favorite dig-in's.
Pallavi Bhagavath
Love the breakfast options. Healthy and hygiene. U get good food round the clock.kids also love the healthy meal options here. Slightly higher on price range though
Manish Sharma
Surprisingly good breakfast. Didn't expect them to do much beyond the basics but the basics itself were well done. Even the chai was better than what you get at most places.
Nishant Prakash
Our go to place for Sunday breakfast. Nothing too flamboyant, they just manage to do all the basics right. Deducting one star for a dead ant in one of our juices.
Gary D'netto
Had the All American Breakfast for Rs.380/- including tax. Quick service, good food, well located and reasonably priced.
Joe Thomas
Excellent food- loved the Goan pork! Interiors are a bit dingy though. Would suggest replacing the carpet altogether.
Sameer Shah
Delicious, Peaceful corner.. :)

A great breakfast place. I am a regular here on weekends. My favorite is mashed potato pancakes with jalapenos and fried egg.

I landed here as this is close to my work place and I wanted to have English Breakfast.
I had Spanish Omelette. It was good. The portion they served was also good.

Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3/5
Service - 3.5/5
Hygiene - 4/5
Staff behaviour - 4/5

Woodstock and Creme and Crust is the same place. The only difference lies in their menu. Woodstock serves lunch and dinner. On the other hand, Creme and Crust serves breakfast.
This place is really good and it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. I order for their 'Ultimate Cream and Crust Breakfast' and I'm never able to finish it off. They give so much quantity of food that one gets tired and so full of eating. Also, I love the croquettes they serve. It's so cheesy! Okay! I won't say that you'll get a healthy breakfast here.. but I assure you that you'll get a variety and taste here.
Cost for two would be around Rs. 800.
Krishangi Goswami
Honestly, I thought it was a dessert place and went there only for that.
Ordered a apple pie and a blueberry cheesecake.
The cheese cake tasted like layers of whipped cream with blueberry jam and had a tempered white chocolate encircled that tasted exactly like Nestle milkybar...just a bit more sweet.
The apple pie was nothing like a traditional apple pie. No cinnamon flavors. The chopped apple filling was not properly prepared.
Can't comment on anything else in the menu but definitely don't go for the desserts since they messed up the classics, don't think will any better with the rest of the dessert menu.
But the ambience was good!

The food quantity, taste of the food as well as the service is too good good. We tried the All American Breakfast. The quantity which you get is too much for two ppl. Rated 4 coz ambiance is just decent.. But it's good for people who want to spent lot of time talking over the food. 5 star for the Food, Taste, Quantity, Service.

The bread basket us the surprise here. Comes with 5 piece of bread including croissant(šŸ„) and crunchy wheat bread.

Been here on a Saturday breakfast and like reviews says its a nice place for a cozy breakfast / brunch. Occupied with decent crowd and food here is nice and tasty. Staff is okay. Ambience is just okay. They have balcony seating which is dusty at times. Over all a good experience !!!
Charan
The food is delicious here crispy waffles and fluffy yummy blueberry pancakes the place is situated in a quiet calm place away from the busy streets. Do thy the desserts here they are extraordinary. Crew is quiet slow and they take long time to prepare the food.

Have not received the order yet. But it has been marked as delivered. Did not receive any call from the delivery person.
Pawana
One of the best places in Indiranagar for English breakfast. We ordered English breakfast, Spanish breakfast, Old McDonalds omelette and Irish Cream Hot Chocolate. The service is little slow though. So order everything at once and have a good chat before your breakfast arrives

Went there on a team outing , and tried their different breakfasts , it was all worth the price.. good service provided, great ambiance.went back with a friend and same experience! Any day its a great place for a breakfast

so what I am going to tell you has left me totally horrified. I went here for breakfast. We had ordered for a a veg breakfast meal and a regular english meal. So in the drink I ordered for a chocolate milkshake. Food was good but while I was having the Shake I felt some piece in my mouth. At first I thought it may be some chocolate flake or something but when i pulled it out it was a COCKROACH.Ā
Yes guys a cockroach in my shake. When I told the waiter about this he ran upstairs to his kitchen and the manager followed him there. For 20 minutes no one came back to us for anything forget about apology. When i called the waiter he gave me some excuse that I dint understand. Hence i called the manager who was hiding upstairs. He came after another 10 minutes and told us very blankly that he could only say sorry wat else... I was in a state of shock and not to forget by now I had already thrown up. I asked him for the owners number so that I could complain and he gave me Ms. Anita'z number who i apparently their CEO. and to no surprise her reaction was quite similar to that of the manager. She told me that they have fumigation every Monday o maybe it came from there and what else could she do about it she asked me to suggest. I was totally shocked and surprised that neither the manager nor the owner were apologetic about serving me food with cockroaches but instead they were quite brutally asking me what could they do. seems like a regular affair for them. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE ... I WENT THERE TO EAT BUT ENDED IN THROWING UP MORE THAN EATING.....

I received pancakes instead of waffles :(

Wanted to try some new and hence stumbled upon this place! Itā€™s a cute lil , quite place at the side of the main road and the outdoor seating is very pleasant! The staff is very courteous and friendly. We ordered the American breakfast and choco chip pancakes, which were huge in portion but quite filling and tasty. The potato croquet was amazing and so was the chicken sausages! Iā€™d recommend to watch the portion. The choco chip pancakes was again a huge portion and we ended up bringing it home. All in all a decent and quite calm place.
Vishal Kumar
the food was tasty but not as hot as we had expected.
Vinod M
it was just ok. The bacon
Vinodhini Anbu
Had some sausages, tossed veggies and crepes. Crepes was a complete disappointment where they just served 2 thin pancakes separate topped with fruits. Sausages where great!!
Ambience was good
Service was good as well
This place is little overpriced for the quality of items they provide.
Ravi Kodukula
Awsome ambience and great food. This place is highly underrated.... we went for breakfast on Saturday. Had American breakfast and Pancakes. Must try: pancakes(Im not a fan but I loved their pancakes), croissants, cheese omelette. Courteous and friendly staff. We simply loved the food and place...
Lisa Mahapatra
Reasonably quick delivery of bacon, and bacon is good.
Deepanshi Dhamija
#underrated
This place easily deserves a 4+ rating. Fresh, homemade breads are served in abundance with breakfast. We ordered Spanish breakfast, and asked for a veg substitute of pork, and they were kind enough to give potato croquettes instead. The bread basket was filled with fresh multigrain šŸž white šŸž and šŸ„. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection.
This is the ONLY place I have seen so far that has Air Coolers present in the open space. And they have aptly priced their menu.

A must visit place for breakfast šŸ“

People, be kind with your ratings.

Visited this place with a friend for breakfast today and I must say it was a great choice! The place must be a renovated duplex house and the interiors look beautiful. The colours are vibrant to give you a Kickstart for the day. We ordered masala omelette, chocolate chip pancakes, 24 carrot and detox shake. The omelette was served with slices of bread, which could have been grilled instead of plain. The pancakes were served with whipped cream and thick chocolate sauce which was just so tasty! The 24 carrot shake was ok, but the detox shake stole the show! Decent place for Early breakfast.

The food is worth the money

We were desperately looking for a cafe for a lazy morning breakfast and zeroed in on this place. Located at a peaceful locality but is easily accessible from Indiranagar Double road. I wonder why didn't I come here before as I used to stay close. Woodstock and this place is the same as they gave us both menu cards once we were seated.

I went there with my sis Tuhina Porel. We ordered our clichƩd fav All American Breakfast. The price shouldn't fool you as the quantity is good to fill me up, which is not easy :) I had a decent scrambled egg after a long time. Only decreased a point for cold baked beans and hard croissants. The salsa that came with the breakfast was to die for. I never thought I would praise hash browns but believe me they earned it.

Lovely place. Next time I will try their (Woodstock's) beef steak. Hopping for a happy time. šŸ˜Ž

nicely packed. food is very tasty.
Tazeen Munnavar
Located in Indiranagar, one of the very few restaurants which opens very early. Ordered the All American Breakfast and Blueberry waffles which was alright. A good quantity for what we paid but I didn't like the food very much.
Aprajita
We landed at their Indiranagar outlet not expecting much, but totally loved their All American breakfast and cinnamon pancakes. Amazing mushrooms, scrambled eggs, sausage and definitely my favorite pancakes.
Food was great, same cannot be said for service. Disorganized management with lousy people to service. It can easily be in my favorite list, but its not.
Jackson Varghese
I visit here for breakfast / brunch mostly. I love their All Day Breakfast options!!
Served rightly juice, bacon/sausages, eggs, beans, mushrooms, bread and coffee!
šŸ‘ŒšŸ‘Œ

The ambience was quite okay.
A casual hangout with a variety full of deserts and breakfast which I personally loved it
Lots of varieties in the drinks (Cold) and deserts with a breakfast and also quality adds on
Vranda Baweja
The quantity of food is good. I tried pancakes here. Loved them
The place interior isn't that great but if you get a table downstairs the view is good. It's somewhat humid inside the restaurant. But they do serve good food.
Sonali Mirpuri
Creme and Crust was an interesting place to eat at. There presentation is so cute. The food is good. They have an all day breakfast selection, which is so necessary. I really enjoyed the waffles. They were crispy and fresh. I got a variety of sides- icecream, maple syrup and whipped cream, so what more could anyone ask for? I also enjoyed their tasteful beverages. The iced tea was pungent and flavorful and the piƱa colada was cold and refreshing.
Roshan Alva
Tried the blueberry cheese cake.
It was expensive and was tasting bad.
Probably all you need to do is walkover to Lavonne and try their cheese cake, and know how bad is your baking skills.
Gauri Hariharan
Crappy place. Waiters dont understand your order. Glasses stink. They take a long time to serve. Food is just average. Portions are not appropriately quantified.
All in all, the 4 stars received are placed by their own people i guess..
Not recommended even for one visit..
Harshitha Nagesha
This place situated in very calm neighbourhood which gives you a feeling that you are far away from Bangalore.. food is really yummy and quantity is too much.. friendly staff and nice place to have nice weekend brunch with your loved ones... loved this place.
Merlin Antony
The food is really not worth it. Was a group of 5 people on a Sunday morning looking to have brunch. Had been here couple of years before and thought of returning to give it a try.

Ordered a couple of things
- Ultimate Crepe Breakfast - Portions were so tiny that it wasn't even filling.
- Pancakes and eggs combo, Pancakes and ham combo and blueberry pancake - This was supposed to be served with maple syrup and whipped cream. We had to individually ask for the maple syrup to be provided. Finally when sugar syrup was provided, was hardly to top the pancakes

The whipped cream was not provided till we finished eating. There wasn't a person in sight to ask for the whipped cream. Same with the hot chocolate which was part of the breakfast.

Overall
Food - Nothing exceptional
Value - Wouldnt recommend

Nita Nowal
Service was lousy nd not proper order is served, veg order was replace with non veg ...That to sasuge,
Chunky monkey pancake was served without cream
Nd when we asked for cream .....It was served one tea spoon nd after eating 2 pancakes ...Very bad experience of a gud rating breakfast.....
Rohan Nowal
The place is decent with a cozy ambiance and decent food but the service is a big turnoff. Was here for breakfast and upon asking for a vegetarian substitute i was still served sausages.
Also the service was very slow with no regard being paid to a single table but everyone was just running around with different servers reconfirming orders repeatedly.
Anurag Sachan
They have horrible service. Took more than hour to process our order and when it did come, the food was of desolate standards. 10/10 would never go there again. Would rather fry my pet and eat it.

Coming to think of it, there are very few breakfast places in Indiranagar. This one caught my attention and didn't really want to go all the way to Koramangala .. been Wanting to go to this place for a a long time.. and when I finally went, I wasn't disappointed at all.
Easy to miss, as it's in a corner on the ESI hospital road. It's right opposite Lavone, guys.

The ambience is lovely and homey.
There are posters of singers and bands all around the breakfast joint.

We ordered the English Breakfast. And my gosh. It was of a humongous size.
Little did we know!
It comprised of eggs(done your way- omelette/fried/boiled/scrambled), chicken sausage/ham/bacon (quite a few pieces), baked beans, grilled mushrooms, potato croquettes (3pieces), fresh fruit juice and coffee/tea (a few varieties to choose from) and a bread basket (white bread, brown bread and crossiant) with Jam and butter.

Loved the bacon, eggs and mushrooms.
The coffee (cappuccino) was perfect. And the watermelon juice was so refreshing.

Definitely yummy in the tummy and prices were so reasonable.

P.S- the portions are large. Don't let the prices fool you šŸ’Æ

Their breakfasts can cure a hangover too šŸ˜›
Definitely a must try
Sayantani Dhar
I went to this place yesterday with my friends to have dessert. I had ordered for Nutella Mousse. I must say the Mousse looked extremely delicious but to be honest I was quite disappointed with the taste of the dessert. The portion was quite a bit but without taste. This rating is just for the portion size and the decent ambience.
Anvita Chopra
Ordered online on SwiggyĀ the food came really fast and the chocolate chip waffles were AMAZING. They were soft and crispy and came with chocolate sauceĀ Thats the only thing I ordered but I will definitely order again
Margi Parikh
We ordered food yesterday, it took 2 hours for them to deliver one mac and cheese pasta and garden pizza. In addition to that food was completely cold. Worst experience ever! šŸ˜”
Priyam
The place has been pretty much empty both times I came here for breakfast. I ordered the All American Breakfast both times as its pretty filling and comes with eggs, toast, bacon strips, beans, beverages and much more. The service is fast and the food is worth the price you pay. I haven't tried the desserts here but will definitely come back to try them!

Had a chance to visit this small and cosy place for breakfast. There was no oneā€‹ Saturday morning @ around 10:30 am. We ordered one masala omlette and Old McDonald Chicken breakfast. Both were equally delicious. Definitely worth for money. Detox Special juice was good too.
Service can be made slightly prompt.
Definitely a place to visit again.
Anand Prakash
Love the place. The breakfast is excellent and love their variety. The crew is polite and prompt. Been here a number of times, especially for breakfast and to catch up on some reading over coffee. A must visit on a Sunday morning. :)

Small looking place outside, awesomeness inside.

Went there for a quick bite with the group, ended up having 3 course brunch meal (dunno if it's a thing, lol)

Their chicken soup was a delight. Followed by the chicken pasta and tea.
I liked the concept of garnishing pasta with nachos

Their Mac and cheese was also good looking ;)

A little overpriced I must say but still it's worth going once ,or twice, or multiple times :D

Place being small and a lil overpriced are it's disadvantages but still I recommend this place as it's soup was really good
Pallavi
It's a very small place to begin with. But the food is good. We ordered the chicken burger, onion rings and old McDonald's omelette. Everything came with a side of salsa. The burger came with a side of fries as well and it was done really well. Even though they seem understaffed the service is fast. I recommend it for a good breakfast experience.

I had gone to this place for breakfast. The cafe is located on the roadside but a little hard to locate at a fleeting glance. I had the All American breakfast. The breakfast consisted of fresh lime juice, scrambled eggs, fried mushrooms, potatoes, sausages with beans curry, croquette and a bread basket. The meal ended with a cafe latte. The meal was sumptuous and filling like a perfect breakfast should be. The staff were very courteous. This place is a good breakfast place and I would love to come back to try other dishes.
Akshay Palkar
The food is really nice .
A really good non veg platter.
The ambience is not really good considering the pricing, the place is just 10 tables placed all cramped up in a corridor.
The worst part of my experience here was the attitude of the waiter/owner.
They really need to learn how to talk to people and also learn to make them comfortable so that they atleast give it a thought to come back sometime else
Rachit Garg
This is my go to place on a lazy weekend morning when you donā€™t want to cook anything and want to eat a healthy portion of breakfast.

They have All American breakfast, Indian Breakfast and Spanish Breakfast Combos. I am a eggetarian so they are happy to replace any meat with some veg items.

The English Breakfast/Spanish Breakfast will come with Eggs of choice (Scrambled/Omelettes/Boiled/Spanish Omlette), some hash browns, portion of baked beans, mushrooms, Sausages which I replace with pancakes. comes with bread basket.

Desi breakfast is lovely with Aloo Chat, Aloo Paatha/Aloo Poori. Love the panner bhurji and Butter Milk. They serve juice and coffee too with Breakfast combos. Just perfect for me.

Apart from Breakfast, Pasta is nice and as cheesy as I want. Pancakes and Waffles are decent too, planning to try Burger and Sandwiches next.

The place is not huge and I never found it too crowded or too empty. We generally try to go in group of 3-4 so that we can order a bit of everything. I always got a table without prior reservation. They take some time in serving you but it is worth the wait. Cost is very decent too.Ā
Visit for a relaxing time with friends and family.

Extremly bad service... After reading a lot of good reviews about this place, my friend and I decided to visit this place... I was so excited when I reached here, but all my excitement went down with there bad service... We waited there for 20 min but nobody came to take order.. I was so hungry...they don't give attention to customer... Very very very bad experience....

Creme and Crust is a breakfast cafe that is tucked away and serves some of the best breakfast combos at really affordable rates. There are a lot of cafes that have started serving continental brekkie items as a part of their menu across Bangalore. But this place is quite, minus the maddening crowd, friendly staff, no long waiting lines and you get to relish some amazing desserts fresh off their counter and a satisfying, tummy full breakfast. We tried the Creme and Crust Exclusive and the Spanish breakfast combo. Both of them pretty much have the same items like - baked beans, sour cream, basket of bread, fresh fruit juice of your choice, a hot/cold beverage - coffee/tea, chocolate milkshake, Goan pork sausage curry (although I also noticed chicken minced meat), a salad and omelette. Loved the quality of ingredients used, all the dishes served on the platter were less oily, well spiced and one can relish this meal at your own sweet pace unlike other places in the morning (where you feel like gulping it all down as there is line waiting) Waffles could have been a little softer, considering this was served with fresh cream and chocolate syrup. Consistency of the juices was just about right and I love it when people don't overload it with sugar. If you do not wish to try a Conti brekkie - this cafe also serves some good Indian grub like poori sabji, parathas and more. All in all love the brunch brekkie experience here.

We had this sudden craving for waffles and my friend suggested this place. Brilliant selection I should say. Their waffles were the best I had so far in Bangalore city. Their waffles are quite filling and if you are going for a dessert I would recommend you to order just one plat as it will be enough to serve two persons. Their detox drink was excellent and it really worked ;-) About the ambiance, its a normal cafe and best place to take your family or have a good chat. I would recommend this place for all those who love waffles. Your craving will be satisfied. :)
Kavya Jayan
The only thing that stood out for me in this place was the ambience. Our order was ham and bacon pizza. We waited a good 20-25 minutes for the order. The pizza was granted tasty but for the price the quantity could have been more. The slow service didn't help either.
Jyotiska Bhattacharjee
Nice and cozy place. Theirs desserts are quite extraordinary, must try black forest cake. The staff and nice and friendly. There is an under ground parking for customers which is good, given its on the main road. Can be visited more than once.
Sindhoora Kotha
Cozy little place in indranagar, has a great range of breakfast selection! Indianised portions of food by which I mean large extremely filling portions of food.. :-P
The Al Capone day starter is a lovely dish, enough for two people! The Spanish omlette was more like a deconstructed version of it, not impressive. Baked beans appeared to have been brought out of prepacked box and not well seasoned.
All in all could have been better!! Nonetheless worth a visit!
Umang Chordia
A Quaint and Cozy cafe which serves all day breakfast, Creme and Crust, is tucked away in a passage with the most comforting ambience and the lighting definitely helps. During the day, the ample sunshine and towards the evening, the nice Orange lights that give such comforting vibes
Coming to the food, I have visited the restaurant on multiple occassions and not once had a bad experience, Those Fluffy pancakes and waffles that you only see on the internet can be devoured at creme and Crust with a variety of options, Chocolate Chip, Chunky Munky and many more. A personal favourite, The chilli cheese toast, they just seem to get the proportions of cheese's right everytime
Creme and Crust also has a fully stocked Dessert counter that will leave you confused, The nutella mousse, Blueberry cheescakes are a must try.
No negatives really, apart from the fact that they're ALWAYS FULL ON THE WEEKEND (good restaurants always are), so go early and get yourself the meal you've craving all week!!

The cafe is nicely built along a narrow lane with mirror on one side..Calm ambience...However..People going down from the restrnt above is not really cool..dey shud make a separate exit instead of people walking down in the middle of the cafe..Coming to food.. Ordered Woodstock platter, Mississippi mud pastry, French fries and Choco fudge shake..Platter had cheese sticks..Onion rings and stuffed potato..Everythn. Was avg...French fries lacked salt..Shake was good and filling.pastry thou good was too thick n hard...It wud have been good had it been soft...Prices are on the heavier side as well..Wht with 200 rs tax on a 800 bill..Not recommended really...

The smallest Hangout place with great food ! Me and my friend usually go to Creme & Crust for dinner. They are a subsidiary of Peacock Restaurant which is right above this restaurant. The waiter greets you well and the ambiance and set up is pretty decent for a small place. We have tried the weekday combo's and I must admit the dining experience has been great. Chicken soup and chicken salad is the best .The rich aroma and taste of the soup and salad is impeccable. We were then treated with Pasta / Pizza. Ā Pasta with white sauce is a taste bud tickler however the pizza was not really great. Finally we were offered Tea/Coffee. Ā Red velvet pastry and Tiramisu are the good options in desserts. Overall, if you prefer a place with less crowd, decent ambiance, good food and a quiet place to dine with your friend at Indiranagar , then this is definitely a place for you.
Jean George
Good food and quiet ambience at affordable prices.
Very good place for dates. Not suitable for hangouts with the gang. The service however was poor. This is the kinda place you go when you wanna cure a hangover. Small but pretty place. Will definitely go again.
Alka Purushotham
It's a small hangout place. So whenever u crave for a place with English breakfast this place could help you fulfil your craving. I would not say that's it's the best I had but it's certainly good. Simple ambiance and average service. Overall it's a good place to kill time.
Aishwarya Duttasharma
After an early dinner in tippler we started walking and exploring the place for some desert place and spotted creme and crust. I liked the interiors. Since we already had Dinner we just ordered two deserts. The service was prompt. We ordered mud cake and oreo cupcake. They're both okay nothing great. I had to parcel the mud cake because it was just too much chocolate for me. I would like to go back and try something other then deserts because I was seeing other people's food and it looked amazing.

Our search for a good Sunday breakfast first led us to Glen's , however, their limited offering in the morning prompted us to continue searching and that led us to Creme & Crust. This tiny yet cute little cafe sits right on 100ft Road in Indra nagar.Ā

Small capacity tables in a narrow corridor might not sound that nice, but we still liked the place. Seemed to be a place we could have a nice lazy breakfast at. However, there is a function hall on the floor above, probably belonging to the same owners. Throngs of people were walking through the restaurant, basically killing my idea of a peaceful breakfast. A lady ( i think she might be the owner ) addressed this with the security guards but it lasted only ten minutes. Imagine bright coloured, chatty , excited folks walking by, some of them bumping tables due to the space constraint - not a pretty sight.Ā

Anyways, moving on to the good part. We ordered the following :

> Spanish Breakfast
> Old Mc Donald's Veg OmeletteĀ
> Fresh JuicesĀ

I absolutely loved the Spanish breakfast. It was filling and had all the right flavors , spice, textures and grease packed into one plate. They served a spicy chorizo gravy as well and this was my favourite part of the meal.Ā

My partner enjoyed the Veggie omelette as well, her only feedback would be to include more veggies as she noticed there were hardly any.

Overall a good , satisfying meal, if not for the traffic through the restaurant which is the only reason i have rated 3.5 instead of full marks.
Sushmita Prabhu
A Must visit breakfast place!
It's a small place located on the 100 feet road which will easily go unnoticed. The interiors are simple and elegant and the staff is very kind.
Now coming to the food. We ordered Pasta Alfredo and the Desi breakfast. The pasta was delicious with no complaints whatsoever. The highlight of the visit was however the Desi breakfast, with an array of things ranging from the chatpata aloo chaat, egg bhurji, yum lassi, the karare potatoes, the absolutely delicious parathas and more. It's worth every penny. The quantity is great, so if you are not too confident about your appetite, it's better to share it among two.
I would strongly recommend this place.
Specially for the Oh so satisfying breakfast combos!
Vivek
Had gone for late Sunday breakfast.. Amazing food..good quantity..friendly service..was let down by the hot chocolate..will still recommend visiting for breakfast combos

( the coffee wasnt so great either .. No wow factor as such ) .. Their chicken mini kievs were really nice 4/5 .. They have a wood stock platter wich is fun to have with friends 3.5/5 ... Drinks are ok ok .. Nothing fancy 3/5 ... Nd pastries ... Well i wouldnt suggest it 2/5.. I had really dry cake both the times i ordered!! Well all in all .. Its a nice place .. But no wow factor as such !!

Officially the worst so called `restaurant` I have been to. Once seated it took the waiter 10 mins come clear the table. After we finally placed our order these imbicilces couldn't take our order right. After an hour long wait in the tiny restaurant they come back with the wrong order and on top of that they say "you have waited so long you can easily wait 10 more minutes". Never ever go to this place unless you have 3 hours to spare for a putrid, soggy waffle.
Shivani Balsa
After reading such great reviews about this place I wanted to try, its next to Hush Puppies on 100ft road. We ordered for a mudpie and red-velvet cake, oreo cupcake for desserts. Fries, chocolate choco chip pancake, loaded potato skins for main course. The mudpie cake is a must try. Red-velvet and oreo cupcake were stale I suppose and tasted really bad. Fries came with a salsa dip which was awesome, the pancake was quiet good and the loaded potato skins were very cheesy, so did not please me much since I've had better. The service was great and the staff were courteous. The ambience is nice, but I wonder why all the tables are of just two.
AdiJ
A quiet place on 100ft road Indiranagar, they have a vide variety of breakfast options - English/American/Spanish, Sandwich, Pastas, Soups, etc etc. They have a good variety of desserts as well. The quality and taste of good is top class and so is the service. A good place for the weekend late breakfasts! I am gonna visit this place again for sure.

In brief - I always thought Creme and Crust Ā is like a bakery with desserts and breads. But this is a proper restaurant with a limited but decent food options. We had a very good Mexican lunch here. This place (in addition to Peacock) belongs to the same folks who run the nearby Woodstok.

Why this place - Truth be told, we would never have visited this place if not for the dry-day mania on 2nd October when most of the places in Indiranagar was closed. As per law any place which serves alcohol needs to be closed.Ā

We had left home without knowing this and were looking forward to a good Mexican lunch at Habenaro. We found it closed, then went to Hangover, which was also closed, then we went to Black Rabbit which was also closed and by then we realized most of the places would be closed where alcohol is served. As a last resort at that moment, we went to South-Indies which was open but had a high and very unexpected waiting time of 40-45 mins. By the time we came out, the valet had parked our car. While walking towards the car and starving, we saw Peacock on the other side of the road. We called and they said they are open.

Their first floor outlet was closed and they were serving temporarily from their own Banquet hall.Ā

It didnā€™t give a good ambiance at all with staff looking like just being hired for the job. Also the staff said only Buffet is available and for Rs. 800 per head, it was a rip-off.Ā

With no option available, we decide to visit their ground floor cafe = Cream N Crust which we did cross while going to Peacock. People were ordering proper food and hence it seemed like a good and rather only option at that time.Ā

Location - Located diagnolly opposite to South Indies and below Peacock. There is also a LG showroom next door.Ā

Parking - Valet is available as finding a parking on 100 ft is quite impossible.Ā

Reservations - We just walked in and found a table. Though this place was quite full when we entered and when we left. Not sure whether they take reservations or not. Ā

Ambiance - This is a typical cafe like ambiance. No ac as there is no door to enter and I didnā€™t see any fans also. Around 10 tables in total at both ends (its a rectangular layout), quite cosy and yet not quite cramped up. The seats are very comfy and one can spend hours here.Ā

Staff and Service - Full marks to the staff, there were just 2 of them and 1-2 helpers. The staff were managing beautifully, very friendly, very courteous.Ā

Though clearly they werenā€™t able to handle the packed tables, as at times I had to ask for several times for a plate or a fork and my fresh lime soda after waiting for 20 mins never arrived and I had to cancel the same. I donā€™t see it as a people person but an issue of circumstances and of staff crunch.Ā

Food -Ā

What we ordered :Ā

1 Loaded Potato Skins (Rs. 215) - Very cheesy and very delicious. Probably the best I have had in a long time. Usually places end up stuffing hardly anything in between but here it was truly loaded. It was roasted just right.Ā

1 Tomato and Zucchini Soup (Rs. 195) - Excellent! Taste was perfect. This went perfectly with the Potato Skins. It came with two pieces of garlic bread.Ā

1 Fajitas Sizzler(Rs. 415) - Again excellent. This came with two big tortillas and a delicious and saucy mix of vegetables in tomato sauce. Add to it the sour cream, salsa and guacamole and this was the best Fajitas I ever heard! The flavors were very prominent and very Indianised. Wish they had added some cottage-cheese also. Loved it nevertheless.Ā

1 Mint Ice Tea - I donā€™t have a taste of Iced Tea but my better half said this was very good and not those premix/tetra pack stuff which restaurants usually tend to serve.Ā

Total Tab - Around Rs. 1000Ā

The portions are good and hence even though we didnā€™t order too much, we were full and Ā it felt like a VFM place.Ā

Considering that we landed up here unexpectedly and were starvingā€¦we had a great time and the food was great also! Desserts we didnā€™t have, but we have had at Woodstok which were very good.

Should you visit? Yes, absolutely!Ā

Happy eating!

My wife and I decided to have a romantic supper on a Wednesday night and I looked up the internet for a place in Bangalore. As we both like spicy food we took the chance to try the Creme and Crust in Bangalore. We arrived a little before 7 pm and we were fortune to be able to choose our table, because minutes after that the place was packed. The manager sat us down and with his fine smile presented the menus. Hard to decide, everything was appealing.

To make the story short I challenge you to take a chance to enjoy great atmosphere and good food in Creme and Crust, it is well worth it, especially if you are looking for a romantic dinner, in Bangalore city.

I thank the staff, and compliments to the chef.

I ate here as we fancied something different from the normal Italian fare and enjoyed the meal very much. The lamb burger was lovely and light and the food very good. I ordered a tasty but not as spicy hot as I expected meal, but enjoyed it. The service was very good and the staff really deserve a appreciation.

This unassuming little place on 100 ft Road serves the world's best waffles and I think it's the perfect place to chill out on a Sunday and catch up with friends. Their brunch options are pretty damn delicious and I would definitely recommend their black coffee (they get it just right!!). My only complaint is that it's a bit cramped for space but otherwise, it's a perfect spot to brunch!!

Food-3/5
Ambience- 4/5
Service-3/5
VFM-4/5

We ordered their vegetarian combo, non vegetarian combo and the Mac & Cheese!
The taste was okay, decent but the dished were so certainly beautiful for the eyes.

The place was done pretty well and the aesthetics were in place.
The Zomato map for this place is wrong. Call them, they'll direct you to the location. It's on the Indiranagar main road. Went here as a group of 3 people. That is an important factor, find out why below.

PARKING & ENTRY
- 4/5 - They have parking right below, though it won't hold more than 4-5 cars. So if you arrive when it's full, you'll have to fend for yourself.

RESERVATION & SEATING
- 2/5 - They don't take reservation. Most of their seating sits only 2 people, at max 3. Which is slightly weird, considering larger groups must come in. I don't know what people would do then. The place is really narrow. Hence the seating problem.

EXPERIENCE & AMBIENCE
- 3/5 - The place took about 25 mins to make one waffle and 2 plates of pancakes. The waiters are polite. Ambience is nothing special.

FOOD - 3/5 - Pancakes were well made. Soft. And filling. The chocolate Sauce was not upto the mark. Could bbe improved. We ordered 1 place of waffles, 1 choco chip pancakes and 1 blueberry pancake. They have a lot of other things that I did not try!

EXPENSE - 3/5 - Spent about 750 for three people. Will visit again for the other food.

It was one of the pathetic experiences. As i took the first bite i saw a hair in the omelette, told the same to the manager and asked him to change it. After 5 min he came back saying he has changed every thing on the plate but actually nothing changed the omelette was still the same with one side eaten. They try to make fool out of their customers. If u want to fooled or want to get the worst service ever please do visit this place

Had dinner here last weekend on the recommendation of some local friends.

We were not disappointed . It is a fantastic restaurant . Had some great starters and pasta with chicken and grilled chicken and cheese sandwich for mains.

All were great . The service was professional and not too overpowering.

Our waiter (it was his first night) was polite and friendly and seemed to be fitting in just fine. We will be back, it's great.

Wonderful weekend in Bangalore... I ate at the Creme and Crust.. Wonderful dining experience, every bite was bursting with flavor... the seasoning was well balanced. The staff were very attentive and has good knowledge about the dishes. We got a great recommendation from a regular local who was greatly praising about the retaurant. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to any visitor.

I recently visited Creme and Crust with my family on a cold & windy bank holiday weekend and was immediately struck by the warmth of the welcome we received and the coziness of our surroundings.Ā
While the decor is beautifully modern, comfort is not sacrificed in any way.

Our dinner was served in prompt fashion without being hurried and the table staff were very attentive.

The food itself was excellent. I had the chicken and bacon steak which was succulent throughout. The poulet gojoun was so sweet (excellent!).

I would highly recommend Creme and Crust

Authentic and just gorgeous. Best American meal in a long time.Highly recommend. When in Bangalore this is a must , when in search of a good American , all too often I am let down by bad Indian restaurants so I am over the moon to have found Creme and Crust .Intimate and personal restaurant.

Chocochip pancakes are their best. Just order that. Nothing else was that great. Hamburger was bad. Just bad. Pizza tasted funny, the tomatoes tasted weird. The service can be a bit better. There were only two and it was a housefull. It was evident that they were struggling to manage. Hop in for a quick bite, dint expect some mind blowing taste, it is just decent food.

This is a small place, so booking is essential as we discovered during our meal where people turned up hoping to get in, and we were there early! Totally won over by the charming owner and the staff. They made us feel special and despite being busy were happy to chat and talk through their menu.
Ā I have also tried the cheese omelette and aloo puri, both which were done well. Wash this down with a hazelnut cappacino and you have just had an amazing breakfast.

Mississippi Mud cake which I packed for my friend and cake was really yummy and really good place located in main road of Indira nagar . I have been here couple of times earlier decent Food and good place to hangout with friends. It is a small cozy place with small tables .

Recommend for their pastries.

This is a kind of a place which you would pass by but still won't realise it exists. But one day was walking around Indira Nagar and suddenly saw this. We decided to go in for some pastries. Its a small place with tables meant for max 3 people. but quite cozy and nice. loved the small coolers for each table.
We tried a chocolate pastry and a cheesecake. Both were really good; especially the cheesecake. Loved it. Will surely visit this place for trying out more things.
Recommended :)
I've had a mixed bag of experiences here, which doesn't make me the biggest fan of this place. On my first visit, I had a cheese omelette and a chocolate milkshake. All in all, it seemed like a nice place to spend a lazy Saturday morning, and the food was good. The service on the other hand, was slow.

The second visit however, was a non-starter, because no one came over to take our order for quite a while, and this was after repeatedly signalling someone. There were just three tables occupied, so they definitely weren't in the middle of rush hour. We kept our peace for a bit before finally deciding to leave. I'm on the fence here about recommending Creme and Crust. But I doubt I'll be going back there again.
Morning Chaai
A nice quiet place to sit and enjoy your coffee/tea and even read a book!

I had ordered their Lemon Tart which was very delicious and would go again for it.
They did not have coffee that day so I ordered Darjeeling tea. Turned out to be a major disappointment to get a twinning tea bag Darjeeling tea in a very small cup.

Overall, the food is a bit pricey. The staff is friendly.

A thoughtful menu of North Indian as well as Continental dishes that are available all day, friendly ambience and not too many tables. Egg lovers will enjoy the satisfying good portion of Old Mc Donald's Omelette, Meat lovers have a good selection of steaks while the Vegetarians have chaats and pastas to choose from. The desi breakfast with Chana Bhatura, French toast and the pasta with chicken are my personal favourites.
It's the choice of having both Desi and American cuisines in their menu, with decent portions of well made dishes is what works for this place....and having desserts to finish off with, what more can we ask for !

Creme and crust is a very peaceful place even though the restaurant ends before your eyes cud even register, its a deep gallery in which they have set up this eatery.
But the food is pretty decent, they can definitely improve on the quality. Though the dessert is so good its worth a mention.
The staff is pretty friendly too. The service is fine.
Go here for a meal or a quick bit, dont expect too much but be happy in what you get!

The Creme and crust has great food! The servers are very nice. My only complaints are that the service was very slow, especially I had to wait for the food to arrive. But the food was great and present well.

A quaint and pretty cafe which dishes out really delicious breakfast. The chocolate chip pancakes and the chunky monkey pancakes are just perfect to start the day on a sweet note. I have also tried the cheese omelette and aloo puri, both which were done well. Wash this down with a hazelnut cappacino and you have just had an amazing breakfast. Service is sluggish and getting the waiter's attention is a task.

Good place. Small CafƩ like atmosphere. The food available is not much. Serves good for small time eats or light meals. Pancakes and waffles are recommended. Vegetarian options are fair and the dishes are moderately priced.

I was looking forward to visit this restaurant but sadly will never return. I found it very pretentious and I think someone should remind the staff that the customers are the people that are important and not themselves. After all we are the people that are paying their wages!!! Food very disappointing and overpriced. Also the staff should be enlightened to the ingredients that are used in the cooking of the dishes. They had no idea and after a long inquiry they eventually asked the chef hesitantly. Would not recommend to any of my friends.

A quiet and calm place at Indiranagar serving good English breakfast. After keeping it bookmarked for quite some time, we finally made it on one Sunday noon. The restaurant was almost empty and we got our table immediately. It was very disappointing at the beginning itself, since most of the tables were dirty and not getting cleaned even after the guests had left. On the top of it, the service was damn slow ā€“ be it taking order, serving food or getting the bill. Need a lot of improvement here. People crossing through the passage in between to go to the other restaurant in the first floor, was a big setback.Ā

The food was good. They served complimentary bread and croissant. Croissant was just soft and made to the perfection. We ordered Country Breakfast Skillet ā€“ Non Veg, which was loaded with fresh vegetables, mushroom, chicken, topped with two egg-sunny sides up. This was served with two pieces of bread, fried potatoes and mayonnaise. Quantity was good enough and so was the taste.

We also tried All American Breakfast, our anytime favorite for English Breakfast. A special mention of Potato Croquettes, which was crispy, soft and melted in the mouth. We were so full with this, that we couldnā€™t try their pan cakes.

Overall, the food was good and would definitely visit them soon.

-We went to Creme and Crust our first night in Bangalore and it was a great way to start the trip. Sophisticated without being stuffy is the way I prefer to dine and Creme and Crust fit that description perfectly. Service was very well organized and smart without being pushy. Food was well thought out and delicious. I thought the pricing was fair for the quality and service we received. Book Early

From the initial grand welcome that makes you feel special, through the excellent service and superb food and the very friendly chatter, you have a very special experience in here.

We chose lunch, a special occasion, and there was no rush, they just went with our flow.

It's a promise to go back soon.

Creme and Crust is a narrow little place resembling a train bogey with seats on either side of the passageway. The huge mirrors however add some depth.A must try is the all day breakfast which comes in four combos --Ultimate, American, Spanish and Desi. Ala carte breakfast is also available. If you are a lover of pancakes you will find at least a dozen varieties on the menu like classic pancakes, banana pancakes, mixed fruit pancakes, ham pancakes and Veg pancakes. Great place for a quick breakfast! Been here more than 4-5 times in the past few years and always go for the Creme and Crust American breakfast. Their Cheese Omelette with Ham & Bacon is also very good.

It was our wedding anniversary and I wanted to give my wife a morning surprise. I had been to this place with my friends and so I thought it would be better to book a table in here.

These people they hadn't disappoint me. The staff were very welcoming and polite. They welcomed us in a gentle manner and greeted us. They were always with us, ready to render their top class service. The dishes tasted excellently and my wife was very much happy with it.

We were just hanging around and we reached this restaurant for our lunch. There were lot of people and we had to wait for some three to five minutes and thanks to waiter who helped us to get a seat. He was very professional and had a helping mentality too, I think. The food was superb and tasty. For this food I could wait for ten to twenty minutes, worth it.

Highly recommend.

This is gem in the city. I arrived here with my sister. We started in the morning to some place and we entered this restaurant to have our breakfast. The place was a bit crowded but the staff there managed to get us a table. He was very friendly and funny. He also had very good knowledge about the dishes and he explained to us about the dishes and helped us to pick up our choices. The food was so tasty that we had our lunch from this place itself when we returned. Topped off with glorious chat!
