Review Grand Village - Bengaluru

Ranju Guptha
It's family restaurant. This place is good for vegetarians. U can do dance, Dandiya. U can play musical chairs and some Extra small activities are there. We can nicely spend our time with our family or friends.

Good place for vegetarians, starting with welcome drinks followed with chats, then musical chair, Dhandia north and South Indian dishes, Chinese. Staff is very good with smiling. Face. Really worth visiting for a change from the routine.
Rakesh patil
Nice place to hang out for family get together, please arrange more fans & add some more starter dishes to menu.
Gayathri Shreedhar
It's an Rajasthani restaurant. It's a good place for a veg buffet. It has all the food items (North India South Indian, Chinese etc), starting from welcome drink, live chat counter, jelebi etc. The dandi and dj was played along with musical chair game. It's an apt place to visit with family to spend quality time.

Visited recently . Have experience of similar restaurant in Balandur which is no more operational. . Compared to that facility, this was slightly disappointing. . Basically a Vegetarian Buffet system. . May be due to COVID, the guests were poor . Also for the same reason, the variety also was poor. . Family crowed restaurant. . Rajasthani with South Indian dishes such as Rice, Sambar, Rasam, etc. . Themes are not very impressive . Clean and hygienic. . Recommended for a change.

Great place for all ages, we had organized a birthday party there for my Dad it went on very well, everyone liked like starting from Kids till Old age folks who loved the ambiance it's not extraordinary but as the name suggest it's like a village. That way if you're fond of Village then you will love it. In terms of food we had a lot of options South India, North Indian and Chinese pick anything you want and enjoy.

A nice place with great ambiance and food to taste. It replicates the feeling of Malgudi days and the entire setup & atmosphere leaves you with with a pleasant feel. The menu has a nice variety of vegetarian food. Would definitely recommend this place for a visit.

Celebrated my son's first birthday here and we had a nice experience. We had booked the full place for the event which can nearly accommodate 200 people flowing crowd. Idea of the village theme is good and Buffet was the best part. Wide varieties and great taste. Good service and friendly staff
sushant verma
Nice restaurant with different varieties in buffet style. Reasonable rate of Rs. 450 with tax. Food is tasty and lots of varieties in starters and main course and desserts with very friendly and courteous staffs. The inner ambiance is also good with different bollywood styles for each wall. Its on 3rd floor and so no dedicated parking available.

This is not just a restaurant to eat, but for groups, they do organise fun games such as musical chair, etc, and facilitate and teach how to play daandiya etc., they do have selected chats and north Indian diahes as well as south Indian dishes and desert in buffet. I found north Indian preparation up to the mark, but south Indian preparations were ordinary. If you are looking for a place in centre of South Bangalore for a celebration with friends and relatives, this can be tried. It's a simple place, but I found the staff genuinely trying to make the experience memorable atleast for some time.
Deepti
Old dry food...no much option...only 1 starter...which was baby corn Manchurian..dessert was just jamoon and jalebi...jeera rice was dry and old...overall the food was very average not at all worth the money....
Balakrishna Kalbag
Great place for both food and recreation at an affordable price. Amazing staff. Awesome overall experience

Ellarigu Namaskara!<br/><br/>Had been during a weekday and it was completely occupied by family crowd. It’s a typical Rajasthani style themed restaurant.<br/><br/>The ambience is old village style and looks colourful. It’s located above reliance trends. <br/><br/>While having food there was entertainment with puppet show, dandiya and dance. <br/><br/>Price 4.5/5<br/>Food 4/5<br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>Quality 3.5/5<br/>Overall 4/5
Deepa Shri
Very less options compared to other buffet place and not very hygenic. A long wait for taking each item. Very haphazard and disfunctional. Food quality was not upto the mark and many items in the menu was missing. I would rate this restaurant 1 only for the people who are working there and DO NOT recommend

Had been there for a family get together, its nice place, food and ambience, especially kids had fun with puppets show. Keep the good work team.
Sanjukta Roy
Good place for north indian food.<br/>Rajasthani village style decor.<br/>Taste of the food was average.<br/>Comparatively cheap.<br/>Very good service.<br/>There are also other resturants with this theme, compared to them this one has less options of items and not that great.
Shilpa Gowda
Overall experience was good<br/><br/>Food - average. Chats and roti were good. Other dishes were too oily <br/><br/>They have few events which are really good - Musical chair, dance floor for Bollywood sing, puppet show etc<br/><br/>Its worth the price you pay
Lucifer123 Marvelous Creations!
Had a wonderful time at grand village. Food was good and the rates were cheap and affordable.the events the staff holds is always good. Friendly staff and a good place to visit as in groups !<br/>Thank you grand village for such wonderful memories!😀
Praveen Kulkarni
Very poor service, food quality is just ok, overall not value for money. Place is very noisy Not recommended . Arrangements of food is not in sequence. Some times we need to wait for roti in queue.
Prerana Prasad
Very good restaurant in neighbourhood. Buffet system is properly arranged. Variety of dishes along with garba dance and puppet show. Good spread of desserts. Live paratha / Kulcha making

Had been to this restaurant after reading the reviews but I must say it was very disappointing. The food was not good and me and my family leme we ended up with acute gastroenteritis. It was very unhygienic and very bad.
ArunC
Great place for family get together. Wonderful ambiance, decent food and lovely people. <br/>More than food you will get lot of time to spend with your family. Eat, roam around, dance, play, watch puppet show. Yes, it is complete time pass package. We went on weekdays hence crowd was less but had full of fun time. Weekend it must be crowded but still this place can accommodate more people and no doubt you will not get bored.<br/>Only problem is parking, Gandhi bazar is busy area and it is bit difficult to get place for car parking. Rest is just awesome.

Hi all, this is first time I am giving feedback it is just because I had a very good experience over this place. I have celebrated my daughter's birthday last Saturday here, it was a lunch and all I can say it was awesome. Lots of varieties and taste was up to the mark.. One thing which make this place stand out from others is there entertainment.. They arrange musical chair with all the guests and dandiya dance we enjoyed dance a lot and it add flavours in that party... There is a puppet show as well... Must visit with family n friends... Must for veggies.
Vikram Bacha
I have visited this place with my family to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary. I have gone through the reviews and  menu card provided by zomato and approached and booked the table here a day advance for 9 people... When i came here i scenario was totally different. Menu card items where missing and marwdi flavours were missing, in sweets the items where missing and the items were also out of stock. 😠 if they are not interested to serve people then they shouldn't take any orders.<br/><br/>I am very upset and i would never recommend any1 here...<br/><br/>For your reference i am enclosing the bill also...

Worst place visited! Very very unhygienic and horrible service with a very disappointing taste! The place is very disappointing as bugs are around the food.

I had heard about this place that it had many entertainment programs like dandya puppet shows etc but sadly when I went no programs were there... Buffet is not at al worth cuz there weren't much items n many of them didn't taste good at al...<br/>There were 3 welcome drinks<br/>Chaats were delicious<br/>No starters<br/>Noodles didn't taste gud<br/>Baby corn Manchurian was tooo salty n crispy<br/>Plain dosa was also too crispy<br/>Methi rice and corn rice were ok<br/>Tandoori roti with paneer curry mix veg curry n bhindi were average<br/>Desserts : gulab jamoon , jalebi and halwa n two ice creams<br/>Overall it was an average venue... There are a lot of items given in their menu but sadly very few of them were present there:(<br/>One time visit !!<br/>Moreover staff was quite rude
Shwetha Potedar
<br/>Very good hospitality & good organised events....tasty & delicious food, especially hot jamoon & Jelebi....overall very very good enjoyment .....<br/>
Rishiraj Hazarika
I think its the best place to be in with your family & freinds.<br/>The most attractive thing about this place is that along with food u get entertainment with your family and freinds.<br/>Entertaintment as in musical chairs dandia puppet show etc. and moat importantly in the same premises where u were sitting having food and chilling out.
Ashritha
Awesome ambiance n amazing food n it’s kid friendly too ! Great place for groups ! It’s more like Rajasthan n Gujarat feel ! Thy keep it lively doing activities
Indira
Loved the decor and the ambience. A very rustic village feel.. Let's go in detail The welcome drink mango sharbat, jal jeera and buttermilk all were too good. The chats.. Found it a bit spicy but good.<br/>The starters were unique like jodhpur mirchi, chinese pakoda and French fries for my little one.<br/>These were crunchy and taste was good.<br/>The main course.. Punjabi n South Indian.. Paneer cooked well.. Staff - polite and courteous.<br/>Desserts- many varieties but we were busy eating ice gola of all flavours available 😂<br/>Recommend the place with family and friends to enjoy the games and the feel..
Rashmi Sanjeeva
Affordable. Great food. Ambience is good and it’s so welcoming. I liked Pav bhaji, roti curry and chats here. Really it’s a nice place to hangout with family and friends
Abhijeet Dixit
Ambiance is tempting but food is a bit let down. Specially chat and sweets. Chat happened to be a bit bland and jalebis were oily. Main course, north Indian, was tasty. Dal specially. The spread was not much for North Indian in veg.<br/>We went there for lunch and there was some sort of kitty party happening due to which, music was out of place.<br/>All in all, a place to visit if you are anyway around but not something to look specifically.
Nisarga M K
Ambience - It was good.<br/>Staff- They were friendly and we were comfortable while dancing. <br/>Food- It was good. <br/>Prefect if you want to enjoy the evening with friends and family.
Lakshmi Prasanna
Place is decent. Menu options were huge. Food was not great but with some thing or the other we can actually fill heavy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It's a must go place with group. We were 30+ family for a birthday celebration went and had a fabulous time. The entertainment part is too good and after many years elders in my family involved in entertainment activities with out any inhibitions. We forgot all routine stuff for good 3 hours. Planning to visit once again for one more celebration.<br/>
AlokVee
This restaurant is inspired by the Village - soul of india restaurant . They replicate everything that is done by the Village hotel . Food is average . Worth visiting once a while .
Shreyas Avarur
The most worst taste ever had in my lyf not even a single dish is good very bad experience and it's not worth so ppl think and come to this place don't waste your money
Keerthan Setty
‘WORST’<br/><br/>Food was bad.. <br/>ambience was so bad & untidy..<br/>Water was dropping here & there.. when asked .. they said because its raining outside..<br/><br/>Management was worst !<br/>Food was too bad !! <br/><br/>Totally 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

One of the best place to be with your friends for buffet lunch r dinner. " IT'S A VEG RESTAURANT". Buffet is value for money. Staffs are very pleasant.

Grand Village. This is really a good place to hangout with family/team/friends. They serve many items for buffef starting from Juice/Butter milk, Chats, Chinese, Paav bhaji, Main Course include Curries, All types of Roti's and Naan's, Rice, Sambar, Daal, Curd Rice. Then dessert include 2 types of sweets, Ice cream, Kala Khatta. I was little worried when i went here with my family. But very soon we realised this place is worth a visit once a while.<br/><br/>Only negative review for this place is the price on weekends which is little high. This is the reason i am rating 4.5.<br/><br/>Taste: Good<br/>Ambiance: OK<br/>Staff: Good<br/>Cleanliness: Good<br/>Price: Little high on weekends<br/><br/>Recommendation: Visit this place little early if you want to enjoy Dandia and Music. You need to be a foodie to have all their items.
Priyanka Preethi
This place is filled with veggies food and has the ambiance of typical Rajasthani and Gujarati feel<br/>the buffet is value for money <br/>nice place to hang out and for even group events <br/>food was good and tasty<br/>staff was courteous and friendly

Good food and very helpful staff, unique ambience and entertainment. Nice place to visit in a group. Food quality is very nice. Situated at the centre of the city.

Nice place for family events. This is similar to another restaurant by same name called Village, in Bangalore Central - JP Nagar. <br/><br/>Food - 2.5/5 <br/>Quite oily, but Sweets were very good - pumpkin halwa esp. <br/>Ambiance - 2/5 <br/>Quite colourful and fun atmosphere <br/>Service - 3/5<br/>Servers / Staff ‘s friendly and service is quick. It’s buffet. Staff makes it easy for people to get on the dance floor :)
VINAY RAAJ
Good place to be if you are looking for typical Rajasthani food.. If you opt Lunch if even better because it will be less crowded ant after noons that evening's
Vinay Kumar KR
Typical Rajasthani and Gujarati dishes with below average Chinese. Similar to the lights of The Village,.. I went for dinner buffet on a weekend, spread is not that great. Quiet crowded and noisy. Ambience is what you pay for and yes the food is pretty average. Needs improvement to the interiors as some were broken and leakage of water at some places. They rush especially after 10PM and close out the counters which was disappointing. Good place for the kids to enjoy their time with puppet shows, rhymes and loud music. I may not visit again until they improve in all areas.
Anil Kumar B.r
Good ambience... It's a perfect place for family to get together and have fun. Me and 25 of our family members had fun games which was organised and danced.. Average food nothing too great to eat .. I would rate it good because our expectation of having fun was met. Can visit again for a good family get together.
Ananth Raghavendrachar
Had a worst experience. utter waste. food was worst. Never take garlic naan, they are just minting money saying north Indian.. staff was rude, cannot speak kannada.. horrible loud songs which makes it more irritating. complete waste..
Nikhil R Vasisht
It's alright, worth 500 bucks per person. Nice place. Completely vegetarian. Yup. Nice. Also, it's completely vegetarian. Hmm. Nice. Music plays. <br/>
Saswati Biswas
A very colourful and happy place for team lunch(Veg only). Then conduct activities like musical chair and they would also teach you folk dances like garba, dandiya etc. They will surely make your day. Also the food was good :)
Kumar
This place should be experienced atleast once. Very nice for a team - like office lunch or with friends. Place, taste, presentation, quality, quantity, and staff - Superb. A family where individual tastes differ can get together here and enjoy the meal. Free puppet shows, music, dance offered inside the village - very good for the teams going out there . You just have to pay the amount per head in the entrance and then enjoy the rest.
Prashanth Jois
Grand village is a very big restaurant , suitable for large buffets. It offers authentic north Indian food in their own style. The place also has other entertainment like folk dance and toy shows.A very good place to visit with friends and family
Kirthi Kini
Wonderful theme based ambience. <br/>Bilkul gaavn ki yaad taaza karne wala ambience hai.<br/>Food is very tasty. <br/>Buffet-spread is real worth for money. <br/>Starting from the welcome-drink aam-panna, pineapple-panna, chats, french-fries that's served along with the green-chilly chutney as accomplishment, the main course, the hot jalebis, gulab jamuns...as i said the buffet is worth for money.<br/>Very hospitable staff, will keep ur food-time lively.<br/>
Shekhar Singh
A very good place to eat and a very good place and has a great Ambience and can have a lot of fun and there are many activities to do..............
Jigyasu Tailor
Good vegetarian food with 40 to 50 items available in menu includes north and south Indian cuisine<br/>I am giving below rating out of 5<br/><br/>Aam panna 4.5<br/>Litchi drink 3.5<br/><br/>Corn bhel 4<br/>Pani Puri 4<br/>Dahi vada 3.5<br/>Pav bhaji 5<br/>Baby corn Manchurian 3.5<br/>Noodles 2<br/><br/>Daal Baati churma 4<br/>Daal fry 4<br/>Bhindi tawa fry 4<br/>Paneer butter masala 4<br/>Roti tandoori 5<br/>Salad<br/><br/>Pakoda 4<br/>Ice Cream 4<br/>Gulab jamun 2.5<br/>Halwa 4<br/><br/>There were so many times I didn't try like butter milk, bhel, Gola, tea, mashroom matar, rasam, sambhar, biryani, plain rice, curd rice, dosa etc<br/><br/><br/>
Adarsh Baburajan
Buffet and visit was great, had a great time with my friends enjoyed the most they also enjoyed . <br/>I got what I expected and it was a great experience
Shubhada
Food, ambience, taste, presentation, quality, quantity, and staff - Perfect. This place should be experienced rather than just going through the reviews. The main advantage of this restaurant is that it has Punjabi, Rajasthani, Gujarathi, South Indian, Mumbai Street food, Chinese and South Indian breakfast options also. So a family where individual tastes differ can get together here and enjoy a hearty meal. Free puppet shows, music, dance, tattoos are offered inside the village. You just have to pay the amount per head in the entrance and then enjoy the rest.
Pradi Patela
It was a great experience and good ambience. Organiser was very energetic and made our day to celebrate my little angel first birthday.<br/>People are very helpful and kind. It made memorable moment. Food is good. Only suggestion would be is to keep track of member belongs to function.
Gaurav Chakraborty
Great location and ambience. Full points for that. And a very happening place with a lively atmosphere. <br/>If I talk about the food, a good spread on the buffet with tasty Indian veg dishes. Lastly, the place is very pocket friendly as the cost per person is very affordable.
Rashmi PK
Beautiful setup. Buffet is very well set. Chats, starter drink, punjabi cuisine, South Indian cuisine, sweet counter, roti counter, dosa and pav bhaji counter are there. The best part, they do not use plastic at all! Only steel plates, bowls, and cups are used. Worth a visit for having their buffet. 👍
Rishabh Sharma
An average restaurant with an *average food*.They try to recreate the ambience of village and are quite successful in that.Overall not value for me...
Srinivas R
Restaurant is on Gandhi bazaar main road, above reliance trends. Myself visited for Sunday lunch. Food is really good, liked chats. Team is good but they claim it's a Rajasthani restaurant, However it never seemed Rajasthani to me. Found it as regular North Indian (Punjabi style) restaurant. I missed Dal bati churma, thepla, gatte ki sabji or papad ki sabji.<br/>They served good Punjabi food and surprisingly south Indian also with dosas. Team entertained with musical chairs, dandiya and other dances, community attending can participate. My suggestion to them is to serve Rajasthani, Gujarati food because many of them nearby serve Punjabi style. Restaurant theme is a highlight and good food, whatever served. Overall experience is good.
Mamata Ontamuri
Very good food and service very much............. worth for the price...... ambience also very nice....... especially jalebi must try ........
Mayur Sastry
If you are giving a party to 20+ ppl i highly recommend this place as the staff is super friendly and guide each of the guests. And dont forget about dance and puppet show for the kids. The food here is good and there are varieties to choose from, north chinese and south. All in all its total paisa vasool.
Umesh ?Y
Had been there on a Saturday night with the family and had buffet, the ambiance is good and the service too. The taste of the food is ok but not great.
Sampada Torvi
Filthy restaurant. No much option for desserts. Ice creams are worse than roadside. Too high for the price they quote. Ambience is worst. Dripping liquid from AC near ice cream counter.
Prithvi Vallabha
The food is not hygiene ..and isn't to the standards. Our whole family suffered from food poisoning just after visiting the restaurant. <br/><br/>Don't ever give a try and risk your health.
Ak Raj
Great place for lunch or dinner with groups, if your plan for gathering all friends and enjoy then this is good place ., lovely ambience , great theme and live entertainment music in dinner times makes much enjoyable evening . Coming to the food part there is lost of varieties which I feel some of good and some of average . I surely suggest to visit this place to enjoy food with group
Chaudhary
One of the best place in town to visit. It is actually a place wherein you can hangout wid your entire family or friends.. The food is good, the ambience is super cool. Also there is separate dancing area wherein you can spent quality time. 😍 Also the interior is very attractive. Service is More than good. 👍 One should visit atleast once & explore these lovely place.

Let me break down what I experienced into 3 parts:<br/><br/>1. Place and ambience<br/>Terrible place. Ambience is disgusting!! When I went I found water trickling down from the central air conditioner!! The day was hot and the air conditioning wasn't working and there was no alternative arranged too!! I found dirty walls and other film posters sticking on, which felt like they had just rented & converted the place to a restaurant without any modifications!! The tables were also shaky!!<br/><br/>2. Food<br/>The food is terrible!! The menu mentioned is a lie. You do not find Chinese and continental items. It's only north Indian dishes.<br/><br/>But I seriously have to mention this.... After all this disappointment, I was excited that they were making fresh roti in the open and serving..... But apparently, the Roti's were as fast as a Buffalo skin!!<br/><br/>3. Lastly, the service<br/>You'll be served with regular steel plates unlike ceramic or plastic plates. You'll be lucky if you found a spoon to eat as I saw the management in lot of confusion and we're unable to follow up on things.<br/><br/>The people who served were also arrogant!!<br/><br/>Just felt like the worst place I had been in!<br/><br/>Not worth ₹450/- at all!!<br/>
Lakshmeesh RamMohan Maddala
1.Ambience was good<br/>2. Food quality and taste was average <br/>3. Buffet options are too less<br/>4. Not worth for Wat we pay<br/>5. Finally not Happy with the Grand Village...
Shruti
Good food and ambience.. The staff are very courteous and friendly . Had amazing time. Value for money. Dosa was like pure south indian style
Shwetha 😋
Though located on the main road of an ever busy street, this restaurant can be easily missed unless you go specifically for it.<br/>Very much similar to the restaurant "village", but on a lesser scale both in terms of space and food variety.<br/>However, the food here is pretty good for the price they charge. Staff is very friendly. Ambience is good with all the entertainment, enjoyable to both kids and adults. My son loved the puppet show.<br/>Can spend a good 2-3 hours easily. Definitely a must visit with family and friends
Jaspreet Humcha
Celebrated my sons birthday at grand village... We had awesome experience. Excellent ambience, good food, great entertainment and welcoming staff. Thank you grand village
Vignesh Prabhu
Its just a average Restaurant ,not that standard one if u are looking for that.<br/>The restaurant theme is good as it matches with name village. The food were not that hygienically maintained and served. the taste was not good for the price your paying(we been there on Tuesday Dinner it was 370/stomach).they do dance ,dandiya and gaana but the main thing is food matters which is not upto the standard here.
Sathwik Sridhara Rao
Ok guys it's time to tell about this restaurant!! I have been 1000 times to basvangudi and some 1000 hotels more!!! But got to know about this hotel today and immediately went there and tried it out!! One of the best hotels!! Best food!! Best staff!! Best idea!! Everything is the best!! Just loved the restaurant!! No doubt this will be my regular adda with my friends!! Thank You Grand Village
Varun Kumar
This is a place which tells you how to bring up a different ambience in the restaurant that is located in a different region than the culture you r trying to show. <br/>I would rate the ambience an easy 4.0<br/>Hospitality is exceptional. It gets a little difficult to get to know to what the restaurant is like. Once you do, it is just awesome.<br/>A veggie restaurant.... <br/>Food is average. These guys definitely have to work on their Chinese delicacies. Chinese dishes are poor. <br/>Chats are average but the north Indian dishes are good. <br/>Things that I will remember from this restaurant are the hospitality, the bajjis And the butter Naan. <br/>Do try it. When the crowd is good you get to play games, dance.... But do not expect the food to be very good. It's just average. <br/>
Karthik Jain
Went for a sent off party and to have fun. Great place to enjoy and have food. There are different activities arranged by the  staff really fun task. The musical chair was really a good game to start with and continuing with the Dandia. Don't worry even if u don't know just go with the flow. The food was good yummy Gujarati and Marwadi style food. Like it. Don't forget to have gulab Jamon. they were just yummy...
Varun H.v.
People there are very arrogant. No respect for regional culture(language). Food was okay(nothing spl). Don't get fooled with their entertainments...they make you play, dance etc..they were good. But if you dance much, right after that you won't be able to eat anything.<br/><br/>It would have been better if they communicate in (at least) English(I prefer regional Lang) coz my grandparents weren't knowing Hindi..so they didn't enjoy anything. It's not worth for the money. I had gone for dinner @370rs..
Priyanka
Nice average place totally village look is given which is a major contribution towards there ambience.<br/><br/>Food stalls like you get in your home tome.<br/>Coming from north food did not impress much to me.<br/><br/>But value for money with ok type service.
Ankit Agrawal
Not very sure what's the difference between 'The village' and the 'Grand village' but both are exactly the same, upto last detail. It's little difficult to locate and very easy to miss even when you are navigating through GPS. <br/><br/>Well inside it's like festival, it's a themed based restaurant where you pay not just for food but for entire experience which includes folk dancing which includes you, puppet show, Mehndi & Ofcourse the food. You have stalls for welcome drink, chats, short eats (Pav bhaji & Bhajjis), maincourse, IceCream & Ice Gola. <br/><br/>Food is good but chat section was a let down. Remaining things were very good except Chinese which was ok. Dessert section has 3 things but all packed a punch and the day ended with Kala khatta ice Gola, very strong performance without a doubt. <br/><br/>Overall you are paying for the entire experience which is really worth it. Definetly visit here with a big group and this place will not let you down.<br/><br/>Price – 8/10<br/>Taste – 7/10<br/>Service – 7/10<br/>Ambience – 8/10<br/>Value for money – 8/10<br/>Will I go back – Absolutely
Preethi Devraj

Good ambience. Good place to visit with family and friends for different types of games garba and dandiya along with food.<br/>Food is not that good but place is perfect to spend good time with friends and family
Vidyaprasanna Kambalur
Ordinary, and at times bad, food. Ambience wasn't impressive. Staff weren't friendly. <br/><br/>Been there with family and was very disappointed. The so called entertainment was turning out to be lot of disturbance. Village theme is ok, but not at cost of cleanliness and hygiene. Overall, it was a bad experience.
Raksha Pai
Awesome place and great mouthwatering food with affordable cost... U get a feel of village wen u enter inside..... i had Been here twice and loved it.
Avinash Kashyap
Loved the place! Wholesome family entertainment with dinner... It's not just a restaurant... It's a fun filled dining experience. The host was excellent and got everyone involved in the games and entertainment... There's something for adults and kids alike to work up an appetite before downing some great food.
Yashas Mohan

It was our first trip to grand village basvangudi we lived in yeswantpur. Our family was having dinner at a restaurant, I too had a bad experience at village one and only time going there I found what looked a lot like a hair in my fries. They offered us a discount to get a dinner there but I told them I wouldn't be back. The place wouldn't happen to be called village The food was worst mostly south indian, and the jeera rice what ever but the staff are so kind hearted but the entertainment was appreciatable it was literally the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant specially food we ask waiter for any kind of daily special . he was like "Umm, I don't know..." and then walks like 6ft and starts to work the manager. he pulls up some info walks back and... forgets it. he can't remember what he looked at, then comes up with something with worst dosa and rasam, we order it and about 20 minutes later he comes to inform us there is no south cook Whole thing ends with us complaining to the slim guy conducting game The only tip off we had for a bad experience was the reference of my best friend . Our time there went something like this...<br/><br/>Wait for a while for the waiter. Mixes up raw dosa in front of us. he apologized saying "sorry, its my first day"<br/><br/>  Food is wrong. he apologized again saying "sorry, its my first day"<br/><br/>Curd rice was blatantly cold. Complain for first time in my life at restaurant (I hate doing this). Cook comes out to apologize to group, "sorry, its my my first time"<br/><br/>Get correct food. Nothing particularly memorable about it.finally Manager brings apologize about food/service/wait, "sorry<br/><br/> <br/><br/> I appreciate the outstanding customer service provided by the entertainment staff. I visited there for a get togetherparty. staff was very attentive and helpful. The slim guy interacted with, especially dandiya dancers were very knowledgeable about service and seemed genuinely interested in helping me find items that met my needs <br/><br/>Because of their efforts, I was able to find exactly what I needed and I am very satisfied with the dandiya raas I will continue to visit your restaurant in the future, as well as recommend it to others. Please maintain food quality as well as the other know that their efforts did not go unnoticed.

I was very excited after looking at the menu of this place. After I visited the place the ambience was really good but the menu shows that it has more than 60 items in total but actually it had no more than 30 items. And after we reached there there was no power and they did not have a power backup due to which the A/C was not working.

When i first saw this on Zomato, I knew that it might be a copy of the Village in JP Nagar Central. My anticipation was right. The food is really average with no dish having any WOW factor. The service is average and hygiene is not cared about. I've given points only for the atmosphere and the activities that they conduct.

Yaay! Finally writing my first  review for a restaurant located in another state! I thought of going out for dinner with my cousins to a themed restaurant! So this is the reason behind my visit to Grand Village... Located in  Gandhi Bazar personally for us it was a little difficult to locate this village in town. Just above Reliance trends this hotel is on the 3rd floor of this complex! We were welcomed with a very smiing face at the billing counter and what caught my eye was the purple star signed stamp put up on every customers wrist! The village was decorated with dim yellow lights and small paper designed wall hangings which filled up the whole ceiling. Litchi sharbat! Never even heard about it! It was the welcome drink.. next followed by a Gol Gappa and Bhel Puri stall! Well seated and had small bins here and there so we could put our plates into once done! Not to forget this authentic North Indian restaurant offers only "BUFFET SYSTEM"! Worth mentioning that u get to watch live cooking of the food. the variety is just amazing- each has seperate counter- Chines, Dosa, Desserts, Sweet, Gol Gappe, Rice, Paan center, etc!  My eyes could nt get of the Naan station! The food varities include - Naan, pudina rooti, bhel, curd rice, dosa, rasam, chawal, dal, ice cream , ice gola and finally  "PAAN".There was no drawback in entertainment too!- Dandiya, Musical Chairs, tryiong out costumes, etc. Finally the staff- Very Freindly and always ready to help and suggest.  Overall a good experience and a must visit with family!

The food is above average at best. The concept is a mishmash of various cusines and popular dishes across north india + masala dosa served to you as a buffet. There is dal bati churma of the west to pani puri of the east, stuffed mirchi pakoda of north to butter masala dosa of south and everything in between.<br/>The place is clean, dining is a bit uncomfotable and decor is also weirdly themed to be a north indian village.<br/>The atmosphere changes when the enthusistic staff start musical chair and follow it up with dandiya, dance & puppet show. They are not professional but enthusiasm deserves a pat in the back.<br/>Definitely recommend one to go with a group of people and enjoy!

We came here with family friends on a sunday and we were 8 of us. To be frank, there wasn't much choice in the food menu buffet. 450/- per plate is a mere waste and I suggest anyone to go to another place rather here. Only the golgappe and ice cream were decent. The staff is very friendly and gives loads of entertainment. They play dandia, puppet show, games for children and other things. If you want to go for Gujarati/ Rajasthani cuisine, I'd suggest not this place. Food is too bad.

We had been to this restaurant on eve of Holi <br/>The restaurant serves variety of dishes which includes Gujarati and Marwadi dishes. <br/>They serve some awesome chats like Pani Puri, Papdi chat <br/>Restaurant ambience is good but it's too suffocating as AC doesn't work properly which results in severe sweating. <br/>One should not miss tasting Malpoa dipped in Rabdi

Had been to this place today noon with my relatives. To my utter shock we were turned away stating that the entire restaurant is booked for some party. The attitude of the staff was like we do not matter as they had their pockets full from the party guys. Not a single update on this site or at their enterance.<br/> Will never visit them again.

The place is very well set . entertainment is superb. Mehendi stalls and nail art stall is good. There is DJ and dandiya as well. The food is mediocre. They have to improve on the taste.
