The only thing I don't like is they close it to early maybe it's near Malleswaram residential area that's why

One of the best places for Tawa pulao, Pav bhaji and Dabeli in Bangalore. The flavors hit the spot instantly. The seating space could have been better. Also parking issues in this area. Though the food quality tempts me to return very often
Karthik Rao
We are regulars at this eatery. We always order Dabeli which is yummy and french fries which is always crispy and tasty. Prices are also very pocket friendly. We recently had butter roti and Veg Kolhapuri which was very good and tasty. Really recommend this for your snacking/ meals.

Those who are from Mumbai will not like the so called pav bhaji and cheese grill sandwich at all. There is a huge difference the way these items are made here and also nowhere close to the taste of Mumbai....so don't get fooled with the display Must Try!!
Ajay Kumar
Ordered Aloo Paratha through Ubereats and regret doing that. The paratha is barely stuffed with Aloo and the taste is bad but the chana masala that came along with it is good. As a whole not worth it. Dabeli is just okay.
Tried Malai Lassi and Nimbu Shikanj, both are delicious. Two stars are only for these otherwise would have rated one star.
Ankit D
Visited this place recently, it's in the 11th cross. Tried chats here including Masala puri, pani puri, bhel and wasn't to be disappointed. The taste doesn't in any way resemble the Mumbai taste but is pretty good in it's own way. The vada pav was classic and a must try.

This cute little place in Malleshwaram has the vibes of a desi dhaba !! They offer a great varieties of chats, starters, fast food as well as main course, and a cool list of ice creams nd shakes as well..

The ambience is decked with a filmy theme, and the service is good, at reasonable prices..

Nimbu shikanji and tawa pulav are the eternally constant and must try items on th ever changing menu !!

Do drop in if you're in the area..

What we Tried :
.
Shikanji : Highly Recommended

Tawa Pulao : Highly Recommended (Award Winning)

Veg Roll : Recommended

Chilly cheese Sandwich : Recommended
.

Overall Rating : 4.7/5
Recommendation level ::: high

I had ordered pav bhaji , vada pav and a veg cheese sandwich from here.
And the pav bhaji was too amazing
All the items are exactly like the flavours of Mumbai
This is going to be my place to eat
I would totally recommend this place
Mumbai’s Pav Bhaji is very hard to replicate. There are a million places in that city that serve their own version of this much loved snack, but are all brought together by that inexplicable ‘Mumbai’ tag. Something that makes them unique, just like what I had here.

Mumbai Bistro is in a basement off the busy Sampige Road in Malleshwaram, and quite a gem in these parts for food from the maximum city. There’s no ambiance, and quite a lot of heat and smells from the kitchen that cloud the space, so it’s all about the food. And once there, I dove right in to the snack that I heard so much about.

I had a Masala Soda, and a Cheese Pav Bhaji. And oh boy, I loved the latter!! It’s hard to describe, but the Pav Bhaji here is very different from all those I’ve had in Bangalore so far. Dare I say it comes close to Mumbai standards?

I have to visit again, to try more of their items and write comprehensively. Until then, this might be the best Pav Bhaji in Bangalore!

Great place with good options. Pav bhaji and their rolls are amazing! Good pricing and not too expensive. Chaats are great too. The service is quick and the place is fun!

If you happen to be in Malleswaram for shopping and feeling a bit hungry, pop in here for a short munchies break. Located in the bustling streets of Malleswaram is this quaint joint which reminded me of the 80s. A small and cozy place that is covered with old movie and food posters. The place is bright with pastel painted walls and a ton of lighting. I really loved the vibrant metal chairs, reminded me of an authentic Punjabi place. Like in the olden days, they have a music system placed in a corner blasting good old Punjabi songs.

The menu is surprisingly big for such a small place. Predominantly snacking and munching items with a decent choice of beverages. Though the taste is not exquisite, it is definitely satisfactory and cheap if I might add. They also sell non-alcoholic beer. If you want to grab a small bite and to enjoy the retro nostalgia feeling, head down to this cafe.

Do not be fooled by the name . There is nothing mumbai about this eatery. I ordered a plate of masala puri and this is what i got. They have bangalore style chats with a weird cinnamon gravy. It is just like any other banglorean chat outlet with their own version of chats. Very disappointed!!

I and friend of mein had been to this small cozy place at corner of alleswaram market ..as am big fan of pav bhaji...and chaats since I was in Mumbai for 10 years ...
Tried there pavbhaji and chaats were quit good and a definetly give a try ...
Karthik Srinivas
Marsala Puri was great, Dahi Puri excellent with quality curds, Average schezwan vada pav, OK OK dabeli, outstanding Punjabi biryani with great basmati rice and a decent gudbud..Overall a good place for an evening chat..

I have been there a few times. This is a small cozy place near the Malleshwaram market. Pav bhaji, tawa pulao and paneer gravies are delicious. Even chats are descent. Overall nice value for money.

It's really A Good Restaurant But little Costly
The taste and all is very delicious
It's a worthy restaurant every dish is good both north and south Indian

The reason you I am rating 5 for this restaurant is it goes with the name mumbai bistro I ordered vada pav and dabeli bang on it was just like what u get in bombay coming to the chaats dhai puri was brilliant and not to miss the tawa pulao here it was killer... Looking forward to try pav bhaji next time....

Service - 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Food and quality 5/5

Small place at the beginning of BJP office road.
Cozy ambiance, wide range of food.
Everything here is reasonably priced and yummy.
Would highly recommend their paneer items cuz they're finger-licking good
Their chaats could be improved
Their DBC is delicious.
Overall :
Food : 4/5
Ambiance : 3/5
Value for money : 4/5
I had an unplanned visit to this place on evening during my shopping in Malleshwaram. I went there since it looked clean from outside, the place was almost full and a quick seacrh on Zomato said "quick service" So just went and ordered 3 items from the menu - they have a poster also that says what "one must try" - Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav and Dabeli and a drink - Gulkhand milkshakeI must say I was not at all disappointed - they all turned out to be amazing except Vada Pav which was very average! I would say Dabeli was the best followed by Pav Bhaji. The Gulkhand milkshake was good too.. Its obviously not street food price, slightly more expensive but worth the moneyDefinitely recommend it for quick bites and will visit again :)

PS: Major parking issues esp car but its Malleshwaram, what do you expect :)Make sure you park a couple of roads away and walk up

Food - 4/5Ambience - (fast food set)-up -4 Service - 5

A small place located on the corner of 11th cross, Malleshwaram.
They serve varieties of Mumbai street food here. Usually they keep changing their interiors of the restaurant.
It is pocket friendly.
Food is average.
The person who owns this is a huge fan of Bollywood I feel.
Rama Ramachandra
Tried their Pav Bhaji and Kulfi after a recommendation. It was pretty good . A lot of people were trying their tawa pulao. Definitely visiting again. Pakoda of was looking delicious
After a tiering shooping experience in malleshwaram .... We wanted to eat some good vegetraian north indian food ... So checked zomato near by resturant found this place mumbai Bistro located bang opp to canara bank its easy to locate behind reliance trends 11th cross malleshwaram
Stared with Gobi manchurian which was ok ... Continued with pav bhaji it was lip smacking lassi was so thick and fine now comes the main course
Dal tadka and veg kolapuri with tawa pulkha it was really tasty and well presented ended up with tawa pulao 🈲😊 and the bill came up to Rs 650/- for 3 people which i felt was quite resonable
Tipu Borah
Good food liked the vada pav and pav bhaji the pav is really different unlike a bun what u get here every where in Bangalore they have the ladi pav what we get in Bombay the taste wise it's more over Bombay style even chaats are good only suggestion they keep paytm or phone me as a payment option but never the less they accept cards
Bada Papa
Tried this restaurant for first time the ambience looks decent nothing fancy .... now coming to food .... as per recommendation we ordered pav bhaji ... it was tasty and filled with bitter 😃😋 they have decent north Indian menu tried veg mirchi masala with tawa roti it was really good ... rice item which we were surprise to see almost every table was ordering for tawa pulse so we went with the flow and order one it was really a Bombay style tawa pulse what u get in chowpaty side and they also serve Bombay stick kulfi ...
Ambience : 4/5
Food / 4/ 5
Service / 4.5/ 5
Presentation / 4.5/5

A small and simple bistro with good food. The best dish here is the paneer cheese grill which is so filling. The cheese chilli fries are a must try. Other favourite dishes are bhel puri, litchi mohito and paneer roll.

Ambience 5/5
Value for money 3/5

Been to this place quite a few times over the past six months. They keep changing their ambience and keep experimenting and extending their menu and sitting area. Their pav bhaji is awesome. I like that very much. Their dabeli was very sweet which I didn't like. Their other chaat items like dahi puri amd dahi papdi chaat were delicious. Their sandwiches were also good. Their service was quick. Good place for quick bites. Will definitely keep visiting this place.

Locating the place isn’t too much of a task but finding a place to park a four wheeler is. Two wheelers have the liberty to park right in front of the place and walk in. The place has undergone lots of transformation and facelifts and finally set for good. The review is of a visit on Sunday evening.

The ambience is clean with basic table and chairs paying tribute to film industry. Particularly surprised to see a few posters of sandalwood movies amidst bollywood in a place specializing in Mumbai street food which is appreciable. There were few lanterns hanging and the place was well lit. The match was being played on tv and plates were clean and reasonably hygienic.

It wasn`t too crowded so we found ourselves a table straightaway. We were attended to with a smile in a flash, menu provided and order taken. We ordered a vada pav, dahi puri and veg schezwan noodles. All the items were on our table within 12 min so big thumbs up to the service.

Vada pav is one of their specialities and it stood up to the reputation. They used the bland pav which brings out the best taste of batata vada. The vada in fact tasted most authentic and closest to the ones I had in Mumbai years ago. Dahi vada was next in line, made well and presented neatly. The puri was filled with dahi and thoroughly cherished its ooze in the mouth. Schezwan noodles was okayish nothing to complain about nor praiseworthy. The pav bhaji looked too delicious to resist but we were too full to try it so definitely coming back to try more items on the menu. The bill arrived fast and we were out of the place within 30 mins which is commendable
.

Final verdict: All in all a nice place to appease mumbai street food craving living upto the name. Very economical on wallet and worth every penny spent as one can sit back and chat while relishing the food. Guys who are over 6 feet watch out your heads..!!
Soumya K.s
Have been here during there start and recently as well. They have changed their seating arrangements and made it a better chat adda now.
Their chat options from the best is a definite try. Like they have gowdr masale Puri and Mumbai golgappa.
Their golgappa and chocolaye sandwiches are my favourites.
Siddarth N
Loved this place! Authentic Mumbai street food. Loved their cheese Pav Bhaji and gulkand lassi. The malabari paratha with chole, mushroom Tava Pulao and their samosa tasted lipsmacking too. Must visit place in Malleshwaram. Was totally filling and worth the pricing. Looking forward to try out other items on the menu!

This place has got innovative interior with a bit of Mumbai touch. You get all sorts of street foods of Mumbai. The taste is also nice & a place to be tried to get the authentic feel of Mumbai.

Rush hour ain't rush hour anymore...
A Bollywood themed restaurant with Mumbai, Rajasthani, and Chinese cuisine to offer. Had several renovations and theme changes over its life. Food used to be great here, with active and pleased to serve people.
.
But times have changed to self-serviced Pani Puri and Take away too, to "Pepsi float" with not so great ice cream in it.
#bangalore #blr #food #mumbai #streetfood

Ordered online from this restaurant. Dabeli, dahi papdi chaat and veg schezwan noodles. Food is fine, nothing exceptional. I would have preferred more chutneys and flavours in the chaat items.

One of the good places in malleswaram for chats.. The Mayo roll here was the best one I've ever had. I don't know why they removed it from the menu. All North Indian sides are good. Butter roti is mouth watering 🤤. The bombay biriyani and tawa palav are must try ones

Mumbai bistro is small place situated in the underground of one the buildings in Malleswaram 11th cross. It brings you the most popular street food from mumbai.

Ambience - its a small cozy, slightly darker place. There are around 6-8 tables. It was quiet warm, cause there were no fans running due to power cut. Hygiene can be worked on!

Service - its quick, and people are quiet friendly.

Food - we ordered pav bhaji and a Bombay biryani (veg). I loved the pav bhaji. Bombay biryani was yummy too with different kind of taste and aroma. The quantity on Bombay biryani can be increased a little. The bill came up to 200 i.e 100+100. I agree that the taste is really good but i think cost can be brought down slightly cause its street food

It's a good place if you want to hang out with friends and family for some evening Bombay street food.

Ambience : 3.8/5
Food : 4.2/5
Price : 4.6/5
Service : 4.4/5
Been here thrice but haven't tried anything other than the cheese tawala pulav and it's good

Called for pani puri and bhel puri from this place thinking it will be Mumbai style but it wasn’t. There was kadi patta in bhel! Who does that to bhel puri!! Mumbai pani puri is served with ragda or khara boondi or potatoes or mixed sprouts this one was served with some watery peas gravy! Please don’t call yourself Mumbai Bristo if you can’t live up to the name. Please avoid this place if you’re looking for a true Mumbai style chat it’s a scam head to Gullu’s at Sheshadripurum instead.
Santhosh Gowda
food was incomplete they have not given full food items were missing
Raksha Dayananda
Good
Prajval Murali
i think they use food color, which should be avoided

Items ordered:
1. Vada Pav
2. Bhel puri
3. Pani Puri
4. Dabeli

Had ordered 2 Vada pav, surprisingly, one was good and other one horrible. Bhel puri and Dabeli was just about alright. It was the Pani Puri which was outright ridiculous. Pani was too spicy. I had to eat chocolate biscuits after just a sip. The stuffing of Pani Puri was just a garlic bomb. Please do not use Mumbai in the name of your restaurant when you prepare such a horrible Pani Puri.

A small place situated in the corner of Malleshwaram!! The colourful interior caught my eye and got me curious thus I ended up eating here! The food is lovely to say the least!! It was prepared as per my request and liking! The owner was courteous and sweet and I will be more than happy to visit again!! It’s a great place to stop by for a quick yummy bite on a busy evening!! SRIRANGA DARSHAN
The food quality is too good
I'm a regular customer to this restaurant
The food here resembles the essence if Mumbai street food.
I highly recommend this restaurant for good quality food
Thank you
Dyuman
Home delivery. The dabeli was unfortunately too sweet, It's supposed to be spicy people!!! The vada pav was really tasty. But the chilli cheese grilled sandwich was truly great, full of cheese and spicy green chillis, and not stuffed with onions as others usually do. The kulfi was melted by the time it arrived, perhaps freeze it longer for home deliveries.
Rima Ghosh Patranabish
Instead of chocolate icecream they delivered a mix of butterscotch and chocolate! And the dabelis were way too spicy and sweet
Girigowda Sm

Aakash Choraria
The place didn't live up to it's existing rating. The Bombay Bhel which I ordered was average. The kitchen needs a lot of improvement with respect to cleanliness. I am not sure if it is hygienic enough.
Sanam
Great place to spend time with friends. Having spent time in Bombay, I can vouch for the Dahi Puri & Pav Bhaji here! Do drop by and try the other chaat on the menu!
Swathi Srinivas

I am quite regular to this place. Excellent food, very quick service. Must try Pav bhaji, Vada Pav, Tawa pulao & masala cheese sandwich. Owner is friendly & well mannered. I highly recommended to try this place
Tapasvi Nallapati
Been here after reading the reviews. The taste really is very great and is beyond my expectations. The Tawa pulao is just amazing. The boondi in the raitha gives a crunchy feel along with the pulao.

The floating Pani Puri is also lip smacking.
Ashwath Narayan
This place certainly does not deserve a 4 rating. The place is rundown, smells, and the food was way below average. Read the other reviews and searched for the place and was super disappointed..Give it a miss.
Lavanya
A small place located in corner of food camp road 11 th cross.
Parking for vehicles is a small issue here. Try finding for a place in the street opposite to the place. It has a seating capacity of some 20 people. I ordered for cheese dabeli, cheese vada pav, masala puri and cheese pav bhaji. The orders came in 5minutes of order. The masala puri was neat and delicious. Cheese vada pav and cheese dabeli where new killer to try here. Tho dabeli was way too sweet, I liked it. Cheese pav bhaji is the one to look after here. It's amazing and delicious and it's the must have here. Every bite is amazing and you will relish it. Toooooo good.
Service - 3.5 /5
Ambience - 3.5 /5
Taste - 4/5
They should remove name of their outlet as a Mumbai street it's degrading name of other outlets which are really good in Bangalore bcoz cooked food was not hot and the item was not cooked properly ,even smelling after baked.. drinks was not chilled. from my personal experience people should go if they want to waste their money
Ranjit Saroj
there is something special about this good joint purely Bombay based oulet vada pav tawa pulao pavbhaji is a must try here and the quality is at most decent price
