Review Gokul Kuteera - Bengaluru

Rajendra Kumar Jagathkar
I had visited this hall earlier twice. Quiet familiar in Indiranagar. Bus stop and Metro station are near. So decided to celebrated our Daughter's first birthday here. Food was good, decoration was nice. Ambience was good. Staff was helpful. Guests enjoyed the party. Many were planning/thinking to hire the party hall for birthday etc. The only issue was with parking since there is no parking at the premises you should park behind party hall surroundings.

Gokul kuteera is a vegiterian hotel at Indira Nagar near by metro station, left side of the road when you travel from Halsur to Indiara Nagar metro station. The hotel has three floors. First floor, usual restaurant with a seating capacity of 65. Second floor also has similar pattern with 65 seating capacity. Third floor is a part hall. Food of the restaurant is really good. Mostly north Indian. Though I expected a south Indian meals, they offered only north Indian thali. This is an affordable hotel. A north Indian thali cost me around INR 110. Cons: The hand wash is not very good. They do not have a parking slot. So, we parked car in the nearby road.

Limited but good food.... Had normal north indian meals... Provided with 2 Naans (big size round one) with 2 curries. One cup rice...One sweet...One soup and pappad Taste is good Ambience is ok... Parking problem... For more members u have to book seat up front

Gokul kuteera is a vegetarian restaurant, I would recommend this place for friends gathering, family dinner also for parties. The dishes are not too expensive, they are available for affordable price, all the food tastes delicious with good quantity. Ambience is quiet, staff is helpful. It's very hygienic. As it is situated in the main road so there is a trouble for parking. I rated 5 stars for the delicious food they served because Normally veg food is boring. I'll surely visit again.
Sapna Jayaram
A good vegetarian joint for tasty food.Staff will help with recommendations. Dishes are seasoned well and served fresh. The daily specials are a great option. The price is very reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to have North Indian dinner. Good ambience and not much waiting time. Prior table booking not required. Quality of food is delicious. Lunch is very reasonably priced. There is a party hall as well
Sindhura
This place is now situated in the second floor. Went to have dinner here with family. The food is amazing. No food was spicy and everything we ordered was yum. The services rendered also is good. All the items are affordable and cheap. Do try cream of tomato soup which is too good. Nice place to spend quality time with family. We tried cream of mushroom soup, spring roll, palak rice, babycorn manchurian, kaju masala, garlic naan is also good, chocolate milkshake. Do visit

Pros: Excellent place to have food for a vegetarian. There is a good and elaborate items available on the menu. Not to miss items here are the Manchurians, Spring rolls, Stuffed gravies and the cashew gravy. Cons: Parking is a big mess and is very hard to find a place to park your car.
Subbu
Enjoyed food here, all most all dishes are good, no parking facility like many others in Indiranagar (should park in lane back side). Overall good experience, party hall facility is there, can accommodate 50-70 I guess.
Mukesh Bharadwaj
Very nice place for pure vegetarian food.... Taste of food quite delicious..... Party hall is good but it is not very big.... Busy restaurant ....In weekend you may have to wait to find a place......Parking is a problem here..... Prices are reasonable....
Satish Solo Vlogs
Good service. They do have a separate party hall and a dining area. The customer service is good but it takes time in receiving the order placed. Must try fried rices. They do serve north Indian foods too.
Prabesh Khadka
Great food for veg lovers in the city. The ambience is also very traditional.
Keerthi Vasan G
We are a regular customer for Gokul Kuteera ever since we moved to HAL area in 2003. From that time till now same good taste and same good service. Very good pure veg restaurant in Indira Nagar CMH Road at a very good price for each and every item.
pareen mehta
A vegetarian restaurant that also has limited Jain food options. This is right on CMH road and is a neat and clean restaurant. Decent interiors. The food is good and simple. It has a wife spread menu that covers pujabi food, Chinese food and some assorted North Indian options. Good for family get-together and also has a part hall. The service is good. The have North Indian and south Indian meal options.
baskaran g
The food taste & Quality is very good. He has been maintaining this consistently and I can say very honesty as I am visiting this restaurant more than 3 years

Veg hariyali is not on the zomato menu but is great! You can call ans order it. Veg makhanwala is excellent. Kadai mushroom is also good. Noodles and manchurian are also really good. Overall 4.7/5 excellent food!
Rahul Jain
Ordered Spring Rolls, Paneer Hyderabadi, Butter Kulcha and Masala Kulcha from here. The spring rolls were amazing but some dip/chutney with it would be nicer. Really liked Masala Kulcha, it was stuffed with green peas and spicy masala. Paneer Hyderabadi was good as well. Overall the taste was good. I will reorder from this place.
Shrishti Ganguly
The service was not at all good. I ordered roti and they gave me naan and when I told them, they were not ready to accept. Earlier I used to love this place but after a few experiences, I don't.

Food - 4/5<br/>Ambience - 3/5<br/>Gokul Kuteera provides awesome vegetarian food. I love to eat non-vegetarian food but will go for vegetarian food if it is Gokul Kuteera. Their mughalai biriyani and mushroom pepper fry are my favorites. This is one of the vegetarian restaurants that served spicy food as I needed.<br/>

If you are fond of insects in your food please go to this place. There was a huge dead cockroach in mine and I ain't fond of them alive so who could have thought I'd be served them dead? That too at a pure veg restaurant? Extremely unhygienic place. Zomato is clearly the list of restaurants I heard. Delist them immediately!
Esha Shanbhag
I am a typical non-vegetarian.... If I eat out it has to be non-veg else I feel its a waste of money... But then the exception to this rule is this restaurant.... Whenever we have veg friends around and we have to take them out, I have no two thoughts on where to go but this place... They have the best veg cuisines... very innovative veg starters.. extremely tasty... value for money.... good, fast service...  their north Indian gravy items also are pretty good.... quantity is worth the price they quote... so all in all a wholesome deal...
Vatsal Khandelwal
A budget friendly place with a nice ambience and good food. I ordered Mughlai tikka, which is one of their signature starters, it was soft and creamy as the name itself defines it. Next in line was Malai Kofta, which was mild sweet and mild spicy, a nice combination for people with an inclination towards sweet 'n' spicy flavours. I had also ordered Stuffed Kulcha, which can be very well replaced by a Naan or a Roti. The staff there is nice and polite. The place should be tried by vegetarians at least once.

Gokul Kuteera is an old time place now in Indiranagar, been a regular here since early 2000's, almost 2 decades now!<br/>This is a very family friendly, down-to-earth place with decent ambience and service. The food is good (consistently over the years) and a Go To place for North Indian/Indian Chinese Vegetarian fare in Indiranagar. Price wise it's value for money and will not burn a hole in your pocket. The staff here also are old timers and service is good and fast, adds to the comfort feel when dining with family.<br/><br/>Recommendations:<br/>Starters - Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Tikka, Gobi/Paneer/Baby Corn Pudina Chilly Dry<br/><br/>Main Course Dishes - Dal Tadka, Palak Paneer, Veg/Malai/Nargis/Paneer Kofta, Veg Shahi Kurma, Veg Kadai, Veg Kolhapuri, Paneer Butter Masala<br/><br/>Main Course Breads - Methi Roti, Naan/Garlic Naan, Kulcha, Paratha<br/><br/>Main Course Rice Items - Veg Pulao, Veg Biryani, Mughalai Biryani<br/><br/>Dessert - Gadbad Special
Ameet
Excellent place for north indian food. Would give it a high rating for value for money. Sufficient seating space available but get very crowded on Sundays. Have always enjoyed the food here when ever i have visited this place. It's a go to place if I'm going past Indiranagar.
Rajitha Sajith
We ordered Veg Pulao and Aloo paratha through Zomato.  though both tasted ok it did not have anything to compliment with; no raitha was provided with pulao and aloo paratha is usually complimented with curd and pickel, This was lacking. hope this is taken are in future.
Pruthvijith
service very good

FOOD IS NOT DELIVERED AND ORDER WAS CANCELED AFTER TAKING ONE HOUR.  ZOMATO DELIVER PERSON MANJUNATHA ( 94496-41991 ) HAS TAKEN THE FOOD. HE IS CHEATER SAYING ADDRESS IS NOT TRACABLE AND CANCELLED THE ORDER.  NEVER PAY AMOUNT ONLINE AND PLACE ORDER. BOTH GOKUL HOTEL AND ZOMATO IS CHEATING THE PUBLIC.  ATTACHING PROOF OF EVIDENCE FOR IT.

This place is suitable for those who are craving for some North Indian vegetarian food.. They have wide varieties of side dishes for rotis and naan. The quality of food was just great.. They several the dishes very fresh.. We tried Gobi pepper fry for the starters and rotis for the main course.. the rotis.were very buttery and soft.. The side dishes we ordered we're Malai kofta and veg hyderabadi. Both were so tasty.. Malai kofta was the best of two.. We also.had lemon soda, which was average. The ambience was also good.
Bittu
A famous vegetarian place hence crowded on weekends. Food is passable. Ordered north indian thali, kulcha and kaju masala along with tomato soup. Soup was good. Kaju masala was lacking flavour. Kulcha was nothing special as well. Can give this place a try once.

Ambiance - 3/5<br/>Food - 4.5/5<br/>Service - 4/5<br/>Value For Money - 4/5<br/><br/>What I Ordered -<br/>Babycorn Chilly Dry, Capsicum Masala, Butter Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti.<br/><br/>Ambiance -<br/>The ambiance of this place is not the best, but it is for the food you visit here and not the ambiance. I would recommend them to improve their ambiance to attract more customers. Besides that no other complaints. Suitable for friends and family.<br/><br/>Food -<br/>The food is the main reason i visit here, they have good starters and an excellent main course. They also have a wide variety of options and dishes to choose from. A must try for all vegetarians. Especially their main course.<br/><br/>Service -<br/>The service here is quick and good. The servers are professional and served to us our dishes hot and before expected. The complimentary Jal Jeera at the end of the meal is a welcomed addition.<br/><br/>Overall -<br/>On the whole, i would definitely recommend everyone to try this place atleast once. They serve excellent vegetarian food at an reasonable price.

Ordered from here for the first time. Packaging is decent. Here's what we had,<br/>1. Palak dal - This was the star of the meal. Very well prepared. Loved it absolutely.<br/><br/>2. Fried rice - It was a good dish. Decent.<br/><br/>3. Kulcha - Quite average. Satisfied.<br/><br/>4. Curd rice - This was disappointing. They had raisins and cashew nuts and it tasted sweet. So NOT an appealing palate. Wouldn't recommend this.<br/>They do Jain preparation as well.<br/>VFM - 3/5<br/>Service - 3/5<br/>Taste - 3/5

Tables available in AC room but they want their guests to sit in the normal room having limited Fans. And the excuses are, they don't have sufficient staff to serve in AC room, its reserved (with no tag), whereas we can see all the staffs who are not very busy in serving people. Although 3 tables are vacant out of 6.

Horrible experience, don’t order food from Gokul Kuteer. Good for nothing Ppl. They accept order even after they are closed and after 40 mins, they inform that food can’t be delivered. Horrendous ppl running the show!

Very good north indian veg food. Liked it a lot. Clean, higenic restaurant. Surrounding is also nice. Visited multiple times and liked the all verities of food

Food is very nice. It actually tastes like North Indian. I ordered Veg Thali and it was worth eating it.

In the North Indian meal 1 sabzi peas masala was spoilt, basic curd rice was also tasteless

It's a class act and the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. Steep but the service, food and ambiance is beyond compare. My complements to Chef and the managers for making this such a fantastic experience
Instant Hunger
Nice vegetarian family restaurant, which serves North and South Indian cuisine. The food is really tasty and will leave you licking your fingers. <br/>The place has a simple aesthetic and is ideal for a family lunch or dinner.<br/>A wide variety of Indo-Chinese appetizers are available along with juice, milkshakes and ice cream based desserts. They also have a party hall which is ideal for birthday's and family functions. <br/>Have been eating here since 10 years and have seen them maintain the good quality of food and service. <br/><br/>Food : 5/5<br/>Ambiance : 3/5<br/>Service : 3/5<br/>Value for money : 5/5<br/><br/>Good place to have a satisfying meal especially if on a budget.

Have been to this restaurant many times but the recent visit was pathetic. The staffs behaviour was so rude that they thinking that we come and go simply without paying the bill. The food we ordered was for Unlimited North Indian Thali and they started serving limited food besides few dishes, on asking the staff they directly say that the food is over and literally it was very rude behaviour. Next time I’ll not think of going to this restaurant at allll. Very horrible service.
Malav Soni
Pathetic service. 1 single fan between 4 tables. I insisted manager to provide me an AC room he said we are closing AC. Such a rude behavior. Not at all a place to visit with family.
Sukanya Sudhakar
Hygienic , this place severs best veg dishes in the area it's economical and service and quality , quantity are great . Being a none vegetarian this place caught my attention the Channa masal n capsicum curry curry really standout ..
Rajesh
Highly disappointed of the food.<br/>Didn't had any high expectations after seeing 3.6rating <br/>But, didn't know it would be soo disastrous over here.<br/>Had tomato soup and sweet corn soup.<br/>Hadn't such bad soup in my life. Didn't even feel it was anywhere near to he said item.<br/>Seeing the 'day's special food items' board inside, we ordered Pudina Baby corn chilli starter and it turned out be the worst starter of all times.<br/>Fearing another dish from the same board for main coarse, I ordered front the menu.<br/>Palak paneer was far from average.<br/>The Garlic naan was sooo burnt that the lower layer was not there and only a feable top layer remained when he served.<br/>The kulcha and roti were not at all soft or good.<br/>Pls do avoid this restaurant.
SandeepKoundinya
Being a Non vegetarian visiting a veg restaurant is very difficult though, but this place never disappointed me !<br/><br/>As stated in the menu that they don't add any food colour, if true then it's very difficult to find such places in today's world. They even don't sell cool drinks, because they're concerned about us.<br/>Food- My all time favourite and must try will be palak rice. They serve it with gravy but we ask for raitha because we feel it taste much better with it. Quality of food is really good.<br/>Ambience- Decent place for a family to visit<br/>Price- Affordable and we get for what we paid ! <br/>
Jayanth Chandramouli
This is a straight forward hotel that provides quality veg food. Starters, roti and curry are very good, rice and other items are okay and not that great. Ambience is mediocre. This is our regular place
Alok Dash
The restaurant provides only veg foods .Foods are okey but they are taking 12% of Gst bellow 1000 bill for NonAc. As per rule it should be 5%.
Vivek Hosamani
Ambience was Ok..The food was decent for the price paid...Service was a bit slow for main course dishes...Good for families..Nothing more to expect.
Aditya Vamsee
Food tastes very good. Liked it personally. Quantity of main course dishes is less. Service is little slow.<br/>Ordered Baby Corn Satay for starter , kaju masala, Roti and Vegetable Biryani. Everything tasted nice.  Value for money is what i felt.
VKamath
I found Gokul Veg in RT Nagar far better. Ambience and service here is ok. I love the Gokul baby corn saate and Maharani Kofta, however in the IndraNagar branch they add a lot of Garlic than required which I feel spoils the recepie. Would recommend them to get their recipe taste in sync with RT Nagar branch.
Hema Kashyap
The food is very tasty, hygienic and economic. Ambience is homely and service is very good too. I am a vegetarian and feel enough justice is done to every dish! My personal favourite is Paneer Peshawari. I often visit this place and never have I been disappointed! Dessert, Gokul's Manoranjan is their highlight. Beautiful combo of ice cream, dry fruits, jamoon and fruits (with a cute umbrella!). Staff is very patient with all the customers. I will definitely recommend all food lovers to visit this place!
Sunitha Pai
This is a pure veg place, with ok good food and ambience. We have had a wedding organized in the party hall above with food from here. Good food and service. But this was a while back, not sure if things are same. I am either too early or too late to eat at this place these days, so could not make it here in recent times. I have seen this place from ten years - long time by Indiranagar standards.<br/><br/>I did order delivery from here after a long long time. It is amazing that the food has stayed the same quality and taste. The Kaju Masala from here was yummy with roti.
Vaibhav Ram
Wanted to try something vegetarian and so decided to go here. Ambiance and service here are really good. You have both AC and non AC rooms.<br/><br/>For starters, we had the Babycorn Pudina Chilly Dry and Mushroom Special Dry 65. Both of them were really well prepared and quite tasty. Singapore noodles was ordinary and seemed a bit dry. Mumbai Special Lassi was usual lassi mixed with dry fruits.<br/><br/>The ice cream was the best part. I had the Gokul's Manoranjan which had 4 scoops of ice cream mixed with dry fruits. It was too good and reminded me of the Ideal icecream we get in Mangalore.<br/><br/>Overall pricing was OK. Ice-creams were really inexpensive. There was an additional maintenance charge of around 5% in the final bill. Other than that no tax or charges.<br/><br/>I would love to go back and try the other ice-cream varieties they have.
Savan Thammaiah
I've only been here with my mother whenever she's on one of her fasts or Pooja's where she isn't eating Non-veg. <br/><br/>And I will admit right away that this is one of the few places where I enjoy eating vegetarian! Like in all contexts. <br/><br/>It's been years and years since I've known this place.. Ive grown into liking the food here.. The service is commendable and it is a family restaurant. <br/><br/>Liable and simple place for good vegetarian food!
Barsha Sinha
Went to this place based on zomati review. But I m so disappointed with food , services and cleanliness. Food was not good. Ambience is also ok.
Sumit Agrawal
I went to place after reading reviews from Zomato. I have to accept that ratings to me are deceiving.. <br/><br/>Ambiance : 1/5 it's very normal setup. Nothing great<br/>Service :2/5 finger bowls were kept before food was finished.... Plates were not clean <br/>Food : 2/5 we ordered Manchow & sweet corn soup, malai kofta, gobi masala, dal makhani, breads and Briyani . Everything was below average. <br/><br/>I would not recommend it to anyone....
Nikhith Pawar
This is one of those pure veg restaurant options in Indiranagar. I usually order for their special North Indian thaali and some starters. The food is good and economical, the service is real quick. You may have to wait for a table during lunch and dinner time. This is located very close to Shanti sagar and have multiple floors with a party hall on the top.
Siddhit Renake
Really nice Vegetarian restaurant to take your family for dinner.Service is bit sluggish.Food is average.Nice ambiance. Not so heavy on wallet.
Sudipto Nayak
It's a good find for lunch. Complete veg, looked hygiene and service is also good. Both South Indian and North Indian food options. Taste is decent compared to price, pocket friendly pricing.
Sravani Kumari
Went there seeing the popularity in zomato for a Veg only restaurant in indiranagar.<br/>Also hubby told it was quite popular when he lived there some 10yrs ago.<br/>Food was ok ok.. portion sizes of starters are not so good.<br/>But what needs improvement is the interiors of the place, cutlery used(could figure out that they are pretty old), service... I see the waiters/managers aren't attentive enough. Though our soups, starter's are done, we kept waiting for 10mins to get the mains.<br/>Though the place is pocket friendly, okayishly tasteful, still I would not come back until they are renovating the place/ changing their menu.
Gurleen Kaur
Went here for lunch, it was quite crowded but the AC seating was empty. We ordered veg Manchow soup (was ok) , schezuan mushroom (extremely oily, dint like it) , hyderabadi paneer (was good) with roti. Overall an average pocket friendly place. The bill came to below 600 for this order.
Abhay Kumar Somani
Have been at this place with family. The place is decent and meant for vegetarians like us.<br/>Food: 3.5/5<br/>Ambiance: 3.5/5<br/>Service: 1.5/5 (I guess they were new, we had to ask them almost everything specifically .from spoon to water)<br/>One can visit for a pocket-friendly vegetarian food.
Pramod
Gokul Kuteera in indranagar is a veg friendly place and the food was okay. I brought one North meal, few Naans, one veg makhanvala, one paneer butter masala packed for family home lunch. The Naans need to improve as they were really chewy and difficult to eat. The North meal had one Naan and so much sabji. Definitely not what I expected but okay. Not going back I guess.
Shannon
Meant for pure vegetarians and for all the veg lovers out there. Try the north indian meal here and it will not disappoint you. Decent place. Good service. Good food.
Anupam Roy
Bengali in a Veg restaurant...😁. I went there several times..the quality of the food is good..I loved their paneer fried rice...and baby corn dishes...!! North Indian special thali is also very good..!!!
Anshuman
A very old place on CMH ROAD. A perfect place to have vegetarian food. They have a wide range of foods on their menu. In afternoon, this place is always full with office crowd eating south Indian Thali.<br/>North Indian Thali is awesome served with Soup, papad ice cream etc.
Vinay
I have been doing rounds to this restaurant for almost 10 years now. The entrance the and stairs that lead to the hotel are deceptive and not that receptive. <br/><br/>1. Many options for soups and i pick Hot n Sour minus mushroom as my favorite.<br/>2.  Starters here are decent but have not tried them much (Baby corn manchurian , chilli baby corn to name a few)<br/>3. Wide variety of North Indian curries and bread that are lip smacking. <br/>4.  I like the curries prepared with Tomato based gravies as my favorite. (Veg hyderabadi, Kadai veg).<br/><br/>Jal jeera was  served as complementary at the end of the meal.<br/><br/>I would rate this as one of the best restaurants to serve vegetarian north indian at reasonable prices and that too in an upmarket area like Indiranagar.
Sanandan Ratkal
Nice food. I've only ordered many times and haven't really eaten at the hotel but the choice is good and food is well prepared. Vegetarian hotel with good options.<br/>Very affordable for the quality of food. Good for a causal eatout with family .
Moulee
The perfect setting and service for a family outing to have north indian cuisine. Located in a vantage location in CMH road, Indira Nagar, this place will never disappoint you with the quality and quantity of food served. I specifically like the liberal use of pepper in most dishes, which does a lot of good for our health
Basu.nagurg
If you are veg lover then must try this restaurant. Little costly but excellent food taste. You will never feel that your money got wasted because we Indian are more prone to get cheated in Indian restaurants . You can try Dal makkhani, Gokul Special curry, Butter Roti, Kulacha, toamato Soup, Masala papad, Biryani Pulao whatever you can see at menu and you like to have it. All the best

We've been trying to explore a few vegetarian restaurants around home. Some have been ok, and some not so great. So this weekend we decided to go a little further and check a restaurant that had great reviews. This brought us to Gokul Kuteera, Indiranagar which had pretty nice reviews online, and the menu online was also pretty tempting. <br/><br/>It was a great experience!<br/>Detailed review here: teluguveggie.wordpress.com/2016/06/11/review-gokul-kuteera-indiranagar-bangalore
Rashmi/ RB
There are many restaurants on the CMH Road, Gokul Kuteera is one of the few vegetarian options, where you can have a meal with your family, without worrying for place to sit. <br/><br/>The entrance to the top floor is quite dingy. It's an old restaurant, although the interior of the restaurant is alright, maintenance to the restaurant seems lacking. <br/><br/>The food is decently priced, Palak soup, babycorn manchurian, butter roti, paneer butter masala are our regular order. It's reliable and works out well. Whenever we have deviated from our regular order, we haven't enjoyed the food as much. There are Gokul specialities listed in the menu, you could give that a try, they are decent. It's best if you stay away from the Chinese items listed in the menu, except the manchurian, as manchurian is an Indian item anyway :) <br/><br/>The pricing is reasonable, the service is quick, the AC may not be switched on unless you ask for it.
Elle K
Sigh. I am not quite sure why this place has a 3.5+ rating on Zomato. Really. Granted, the prices are mid level to low for the quantities served and that the taste is not god awful, but is that all it takes these days? <br/><br/>"A glorified Shanti Sagar" was my mum's description and I think it pretty perfectly describes the place. You have the same menu (NorthIndianChinese), the same decor (plastic fantastic with that classic smell) and the same service (functional, but pleasant).<br/><br/>So yes, want a "pure veg", paisa vasool, no frills standard meal? Gokul Kuteer's your place. But please, rate the place like it should be rated?
NIDISH AGARWAL
Best place to dine with reasonable price..must visit place for all vegetarians..<br/>Hardly there are few veg restaurant in bangalore and gokul is best out of them
Rekha Venugopal
This is an excellent place for every vegetarian! Paneer butter masala is a must try here.. The pricing is definitely affordable. The service was quick and the staff is trained well. Cozy place to visit with family.
Sriram Ravi
Food was good, decent place for a family outing..service quality can improve .Instead of looking at shanti sagars and adigas five dining, certainly this can be preferred.. Low budget weekend option.
Swatanu Satpathy
Located on CMH Road, Indiranagar, it is one of the best veg restaurants in the area. Perfect place to visit with family and parents. Had dinner here on a number of times. Best to try the Indian dishes rather than the Chinese. The paneer butter masala is a speciality and best to have with rotis.

It was a weekend. And we were bored with the daily routine of the week. And whats the best way to break the monotonous routine of the week - Have great food.<br/><br/>We found this place - Gokul Kuteer - close to our place and a budget place.<br/><br/>So it was an all veg place - that is great. The ambience of the place reminded me of the 90's restaurant from Mumbai, pretty much like that no unnecessary ambiance, pretty standard restaurant. The restaurant was playing music via radio, again very much the traits of the 90's restaurant.<br/><br/>So we ordered Babycorn Chilly for starters, Paneer Peshawari for starters along with roti and garlic and kashmiri naan as bread. The quantity of servings was a pleasant surprise. The taste of the food was also pretty good. The masala papad which we ordered was slightly a let down as the filling for the same was made of large pieces. For desert we had ordered Gadbad special  and fruit punch. The Gadbad was good but it could be better.<br/><br/>The place was indeed very budget as the total bill definitely did not burn a hole in our pockets. If you are looking for good veg food then a god place to visit for sure.
Senthil Veppur
I went here after reading the reviews but were very disappointed. we ordered Vegetable Kolhapuri and it was so bad in taste, I felt something had gone stale in the food but thought it would be some masala taste. I was very much hungry to argue with them, so we just ate a roti gave them the feedback and left. The next day me and my wife both were having sour stomach with a pretty bad condition.<br/><br/>I had a very bad experience and would never even by mistake visit this place again.
Rachna Jha
Good place if you want to have cheap veg food in Indiranagar. The place was quite empty when we went there. The food is pretty decent and prices are reasonable for the quantity of food they provide.<br/>The staff was a little clueless about the difference between the different items but they later explained everything.<br/>Overall a decent place to visit with family.

My favorite hangout spot. Amazing food. Have been a regular customer for more than 5 years now. Best known for their North Indian and Chinese Dishes. Never miss out if you're nearby!

Good place. Tasty food. Place is clean. Rates are reasonable. Might look a bit shabby from outside but actually is quite decent. Parking is a problem though.

One of the quietest yet tastiest food stops around this area. Quite a paradise for veggie only folks. The sweet corn soup and masala papad combo starter is unmatched and most probably will remain undisputed. The paneer kofta is very sumptuous and American corn rice is a pleasant surprise. Place for good dining experience.

Crappy PLACE. Do NOT EVER VISIT. <br/>They lie. NO AC.<br/>Wrong timing. Ugly. <br/>Weird. <br/>Like a - 100 rating if I could. <br/>Pathetic staff. Impolite and boorish.

Gokul is a place that I've been visiting for quite some time. They have a few branches in Bangalore South as well. I visited this place with my uncle and brother on a Sunday afternoon as we had some serious North Indian food cravings and we were more then satisfied with our meal. The decor is nice and welcoming. The service is prompt and the service is good too. Also, the place is reasonably priced and not heavy on the pocket.<br/>Coming to the food, for starters we had the Babycorn manchurian and it was really tasty. The quantity could be improved but the taste was spot on. Next up, we tried the spring roll and it was nice and crisp. The filling was not too spicy and was good. The only thing lacking was the hot garlic sauce. I felt they should have served it with a hot garlic sauce. For main course, we had the Veg Kadai, some butter kulchas, butter naan and a masala kulcha. The Veg Kadai is really good and it's one of my favourites at this place. It's a little spicy and has a lot of flavours and goes on really well with the tandoor.  All the stuff we tried with the tandoor was really good too. A special mention to the masala kulcha as it tasted amazing. It was filled with some fresh green peas and onions and i loved it. Overall, an amazing lunch that i really enjoyed. I totally recommend this place for vegetarian North Indian food :)

Food 4/5<br/>Pure veg<br/>Good tandoori breads and veg curries.<br/><br/>Service 4/5<br/><br/>Ambience 3/5<br/>Could be a bit noisy because the dining hall accommodates many people.<br/>Crowd consists of mostly families.

This place is known for its North Indian food.... But actly its North Indian food in South Indian style with lots of mint leaves and black pepper in all their dishes. If u want to hv proper North Indian, will not suggest this place.

At almost the fag end of the dinner I found a cockroach in the sabji! We complained to the cashier who brushed our case off without genuinely apologizing. It is still frustrating to think of the episode.

This restaurant has been here from long time and I have tried here multiple times. Food is really great. I went here again last Tuesday evening on 26th January, ordered Mushroom pepper dry which was very spicy. I would recommend Veg Hariyali which was really good. All the dishes are very good.

Perfect place if you wish to relish vegetarian food...<br/>Great ambience...clean... tasty and healthy food...Costly, but still worthy of it!<br/>Top dishes: Golden kabab in starters just rocks...This dish is also known as veg sesame...This dish was not available with this name in blore... However i got the correct name!!<br/>No Colddrinks served here!

Why they serve north indian when they don't know how to cook it?<br/>I went to this place as recommended by someone. Ordered soup starters and paneer item with naan and roti. To begin with, water glasses were not clean got them changed. Soup was pathetic. Starter was average. Roti was cold and we had to return it. Aloo matar was green and taste less. Paneer butter masala was average. <br/>We were cursing the person who recommended it. <br/>Total waste of money. Even other south indian chain A2B serves better north indian than this.<br/>

This is the best vegetarian restaurant I have been so far. Wonderful food with the same consistency every time. <br/><br/>I have tried all variety of mushroom dishes, noodles, spring roll, manchow soup and more. This has become my all time favourite restaurant just because I get the same taste every time. <br/><br/>I love the manchow soup, spring roll and hyderabadi mushroom masala. <br/><br/>Give it a try guys. I am sure you won't be disappointed.
