Review Thyme & Whisk - Bengaluru

Vishruth Raghavendra
Loved this place ever since my first visit! Have visited twice so far and loved the super fancy menu they offer. From the names of the dishes, to how it's presented and how it tastes - simply classic! Most items are of good quantity as well that suffices for at least a group of 3-4 members( varies upon the food you order, but most starters and main course options are good enough for 3-4 people ; Infact we ordered 2 starters for 3 of us and were already full before heading to main course 😆) The 2 starters I've posted here are: 1 - Blue Lagoon Arancini 2 - Pesto Panner Skillet

Small place and parking is a bit of problem. But ambiance is good and food tasted delicious. You can find north Indian dishes with a twist here.

The place has all types of cuisines. The atmosphere is not that great as the seating is pretty crammed. It's a small place. The service is good. Ambience:3/5 Service: 4.5/5 Food:4/5 • Crispy Lotus root in honey chilli sauce:5/5. A must try dish •Thai green curry with steamed rice: 4.5/5 •BBQ fries:3/5. Wasn't crispy enough. •Tandoori paneer momo:4/5

Nice place for vegan people . All the dishes were good in taste. Pesto pasta was superb . Rate wise we feel little expensive for veg dishes. Staff are friendly n courteous. Sitting capacity is small n if crowded feel little hot , we sat on the corner side 😁 ambience is very basic of this branch .overall good for people who love the taste n does not crib for ambience 👍

Had been to this restaurant. Very pleasant ambient. Roadside Parking is available. Staff behavior was not enough. Food was just ok because the price didn't match the taste of food. Expected something delicious that wasn't met. A bit expensive restaurant.

Food is tasty and they have only vegetarian options. It's a small place and I felt it was a bit expensive. We went on a weekend and it was crowded. Had to wait for about 30 minutes.

Awesome food and variety of options. One time must try. Ambience could have been better Nachos, Lotus stem dish and Kit Kat shake were too good 👍🏻

Had been to this restaurant for a dinner. Their service was good. Ambience was pleasant. Nice melody music and perfect clean cozy veg multi cuisine restaurant 👌 Food was delicious, the cheese sauce was the best I ever had. Price is just at the par for the whole package of Ambience, service and food taste. *Parking: it's a roadside parking, there is no dedicated parking for hotel. We went around 9PM, so didn't have a problem.

Writing this review after my 4th visit. The entire menu is of unique dishes and each one of them are uncompromising on taste and fulfilment. Every portion is more than what you need in terms of quantity. The specialty of the place is the absence of any non vegetarian dishes. You can even order Jain food. The service will always clarify whether you want regular or the Jain version of the dishes. The highlight of my orders - the mushroom and broccoli appetiser. The service is neat and quick. They have an assortment of cutlery and plates to present every item uniquely. Fulfilling flavours. The mocktails are all unique and nice.

I recently visited Thyme and Whisk with a group of 4 friends on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated promptly after a 10-minute wait. The restaurant was bustling with activity, but the service was still attentive and friendly. We started our meal with the Oreo, KitKat, and Ferroro Rocher thick shakes. The Oreo shake was the only one that we didn't enjoy. It was too sweet and artificial tasting. The KitKat and Ferroro Rocher shakes were much better. They were rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of sweet and chocolatey flavors. For our starters, we ordered the paneer Italian fusion starter, tacos, blueberry cheese balls, and tandoori broccoli. All of the starters were excellent. The paneer Italian fusion was a flavorful blend of paneer, pasta, and vegetables. The tacos were crispy and well-seasoned. The blueberry cheese balls were a unique and delicious appetizer. The tandoori broccoli was roasted to perfection and had a nice char. For our main course, we ordered the Jamaican pizza. The pizza was beautifully presented and the flavors were amazing. The crust was thin and crispy, and the toppings were flavorful and well-balanced. Overall, we had a great experience at Thyme and Whisk. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great vegetarian dining experience.

Small outlet but they're pulling it off well. It's all about food here. They've got a good varieties and cuisines covered. The food tasted amazing too. Worth trying this just for their food. Otherwise the outlet needs to revamp or move to a bigger place as the tables are too close to each other. People sitting next to us were continuously peeking into our table, may be even trying to overhear what we were talking.

This place serves some amazing Engineered food. It's engineered because the flavours are so upto the point, the balance of look, feel and texture of items are really well thought of. * Quality is undoubtedly good. * Service is fast * I went on a weekday and it was not crowded * Cleanliness well maintained * Veg only place, important point for me as I eat veg only. * Wide range of items in menu makes this place an experience in itself * Staff here are very courteous * Ambience is ok, not too cool nor too moderate * Pricing is always a question in such setups, is it on a higher scale? Answer to this is different if you ask different people, for me it was just fine. Compared to other outlets this place is priced little higher but they offer good quantity of food which may be compensating. Visited at least 4 times now and tried variety of dish on their menu. Not disappointed

Thyme and Whisk is located in Jayanagar close to the 4th block. We came here once before but had to return due to a huge waiting queue. Therefore, returned here after a week a bit early to find a place. Luckily the plan worked and we sat on sofas over a wooden table. The ambiance is good if not great. The menu comprises of Indian, Chinese and Italian fusion dishes. They even have a open mocktails counter. We ordered the Broccoli and Almond soup. The soup had pieces of almond on top for garnishing. The taste was good. The Mushroom and Truffle soup was out of this world. The soup was quite heavy on the stomach. We ordered the Tandoori Momos as well. The Tandoori momos were huge in size and had a thick texture. The stuffing was of paneer and the pickled onions were amazing on the sides. Overall, we loved the dish. The Smoked Indian Pizza had a smoky taste and was amazing. The Oreo Loaded Waffle was very fry from inside. They should add some sauce or nutella. The whole combo was very dry in taste. The icecream was of some relief. The chocolate sauce was tasting funky! Great place to have multi-cuisine dishes!

Even though place is bit small , food taste is very good. Quantity is more , we just 2 order statters and a mock tail we were full. I loved Panner and mocktail

Thyme and Whisk is a pure vegetarian restaurant at Jaynagar 5th block. The cuisines they cater to are asian, Italian, Mexican and of course, North Indian with plenty of desserts and mocktails options. The place has a decent enough, yet classy modern ambience though it's a slightly small and cozy space. I'd give ambience a 4/5 given that such fine dine restaurants usually don't have a lot of attractive decor. Now for the best part. We ordered soup, starter, a pizza and rotis and a sizzler. The soup we ordered was Tibetan thukpa. It's my first time trying it and I absolutely loved the tangy flavour, the quality of veggies and the texture of the soup. Definitely worth trying it if you're bored of the usual culprits. The starter we ordered was Grilled quasadillas and it was very similar to a taco. Tangy, lots of vegetables and a good dish. The Spicy mexicana queso pizza took some time to come to our table and I guess we understood why when it was finally served. It came fully covered, smoked by a piece of hot charcoal to infuse that woody tandoori flavours into the pizza. It was rich in vegetables, thin crispy crust and great quality cheese. The last appetizer was rotis and Sizzling paneer roulade. The gravy was a sizzler, looks exactly like an egg curry and tastes like a smoked version of paneer butter masala. The paneer was so soft it literally melted in the mouth. Though expensive it was a very tasty, creamy gravy. We did not try the mocktails though. So from whatever we ordered, definitely a 5/5 for food. The service was pretty quick and the staff were very polite and courteous and though some items took their time to be served, it was for the good. Everything was fresh. 5/5 for their efforts. All in all, an amazing place if you're looking to have lunch with friends or family and want to have very palatable vegetarian food, this is a great place to check out in Jaynagar. The cost would be a little higher than similar pure veg fine dine restaurants but you won't complain while paying the bill for sure! Highly recommended.

We reached there at 6.30pm and place was empty. We even thought of going back as place look deserted. We sat there and then people started flocking in. All tables were engaged within 10min. So ordered all 3 4 starters at one time, thinking service will be late. We ordered french fries, Swedish fondue, cheesy garlic bread, lahsooni paneer, baby corn Manchurian. All were awesome. We ordered main course as naan and veg handi. We requested little customazition in our dishes, they managed well. All dishes were amazing. The delivery was very very fast. They exceeded all my expectations. We were sitting there for 2 hours and there was not a single item that was bad. The mocktails blue lagoon was good. Overall, i would go there again to eat more items and try different ones.

This place is a must visit for all vegetarians. From Indian to Mexican to Italian and more is all what you get under one roof!

They have some really good mocktails among which lady in red and pineapple kiwi mixology are my favorites.

Do not miss trying out their soups as they are delicious. Tibetan thukpa, mushroom, broccoli and almond cappuccino were great.

We tried the stir fried veg pasta salad and I strongly recommend it.

Coming to the appetizers dhabeli khari toast and the kebab platter are worth trying.

Forever treasure pizza is good and you really cannot miss the pink sauce pasta , it was fab!

We also tried some delicious Indian main course like the paneer roulade and sizzling tawa masala with some assorted Indian breads and sizzling dal panchmahal kichdi.

For Chinese main course we tried the Cantonese mushroom chilli wok and it was yummy.

Of course you cannot end your meal without desserts and what better than nutella pancake tower and muddy soil. Brownie lovers must try the muddy soil.

All in all a great experience and i cannot wait to go back 👍

Vegetarians, knock your shoes down and enjoy a pure veg meal with plenty of options. Jayanagar has another gem which is amazingly beautiful and serves you a wide range of food from a fusion of Modern Indian, Pan Asian and Continental cuisines. A well lit restuarant with a grand mocktail bar, this place is one of a kind.

Starting with soups, Tibetian Thupka is kept original and been good. Mushroom Thyme Scented soup is where my heart fell, good mix of Mushrooms like porcini and Shitake in the ground mix and bits of button mushrooms make it an amazing drink. Mexican Tortilla is for someone looking for a spicy pallet. Stir fry veg pasta salad is a warm one, pasta paired with veggies go really well. Tex mex Vegetarian salad is for all the salad freaks out there in an amazing presentation. Dhabeli here has a beautiful twist, the dish Dhabeli Khari Toast is one of my favourites, where the base is similar to puffs, and dhabeli masala is topped on, giving it a killer look, this is lit. Coriander and chilli in the right proportion, marinated with Panner and tossed, this coriander chilli Panner Skillet is fantastic. When you opt for a Tandoori Platter, it has all Vegetarian Kebabs and see what all they have, Hara Bhara Kebabs, Cheese filled Tikkas, Stuffed Mushroom Tikka, Chaap and Two types of Panner kebabs, one is the regular with Red chilli marination and the other one is Hariyali kebabs with green chillies and a dash of mint. Well you know me and Panner🙈
This is really a good option to choose instead of so many starters individually.

Forever Treasure Pizza is like forever Treasure soup, the ingredients of the soup on Pizza, how amazing, on that they have a touch of Charcoal which not only gives an additional smoky flavour, but also the cheese is felt fine.

In the main course, Panner Roulade and sizzling tawa masala with a Roti platter sets you on board for a blast of flavours on the tongue which is perfectly made with a good proportions. In Asian Bowls, do try out the Cantonese Mushroom Chilli Wok with a flat noodle base, the mushrooms are flavoured well and goes very well with the noodles.

Desserts!! Fancy somePancakes fried and sprayed with Nutella? Then, this is the best. Muddy soil is where brownies are mashed and added chocolate syrup with a scoop of ice cream.

A paradise for vegetarians I must say. This place is in Jayanagar and offers multicuisine vegetarian food. Cozy interiors and courteous staff add up to the overall experience.
Coming to food, the appetizers here are worth every rupee spent. I loved the brocolli Almond Cappuccino among others.
Some other must have dishes here:
1. Pizzas- Forever Treasure
2. Veg kebab platter- hara bhara kebab, paneer, mushroom & other starters
3. Dal khichdi
4. Desserts
5. Pasta
6. Dabeli Khari toast
Whenever you are around Jayanagar, do visit this place for a good dining experience.

Loved everything here, a must visit to enjoy a delicious menu

The pav bhaji fondue was a disaster. Not only was it bad to taste, it was nowhere close to pav bhaji. The pav provided was pretty much fried dough and bread. There was also a lot of cheese added to this dish. Overall a huge disappointment for something that was very pricey. Service was also not great.
Chinmayi Ravichandir
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. A very good vegetarian non-alcoholic place in the city. Food ordered:
Creamy Arabiata
Paneer tikka
Bulky yummy nachos
J9 shots
Guava chilli magic
Virgin beach
Must visit if you stay nearby
Nishitha Rajgopal
A place which hardly had people and slow delivery with extremely average tasting food. Wouldn't recommend this place
Sailakshmi@twentyflavourss
This is such a lovely place, a perfect place for vegitarians. They have Soo many options. We tried out two things, the bulky yummy nachos and the sizzling paneer Tikka biriyani.the biriyani is really good, very well balanced and has a nice portion of Paneer cubes. Absolutely loved the biriyani, but the nachos was a bit of a disappointment, the toppings although they were delicious was not enough for all the nachos. The nachos on the bottom was just plan and had absolutely no cheese or anything to dip into.

In love with this place at the first visit!
I recommend this to everyone who can handle little spice and enjoy fusion food.

Flavorful and uniquely plating of every dish.
Quick service and good portions.
Will be back surely!

Food is great and awesome. But they had very unfair waiting process. We had to wait for 2 hour. They had given 4 table to everyone who came after us. On inquiring about it they said they are sorry and not aware that we were still waiting although i had reminded them as per waiting name we are next and still they given table to other 3 group and made us waiting. Food is great but our group couldn't enjoy much after this incident and we can't go anywhere else as it was already 10:15PM. So we don't recommend it if threeis waiting. Pathetic professionaism.

We are in Banglore last week and decided to visit vegerian restaurant some of my mate suggested us to visit Thime & whisk . The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the piri piri player ,paneer chilly magic sizzler ,mexmSalad & Mexican quyso burger.great job chef and team for memorable lunch in Banglore.

This drink does not have any tropical fruits but it was just a mix of juices from Real Juice. Disappointed.

Visited this place with my family on Sunday.. For a family of 20 members this place is very jam packed and the seatings are very over crowded. Menu looks very good but not the food. Only paneer, fries and curd rice was good. Even the simplest of masala papad was not up to the mark. The service was very poor and we had serve many dishes ourselves. Food is not satisfying for what they charge and serve. Needs to look into seatings and the quality of food.

Don't judge this place by the cover (exterior) - which is awkward and blah(mostly due to the building).. The interiors is also small but we got the best comfy couch in the place :)

They seem to have an interesting extensive menu. Everything we had was pretty good.

The lemon coriander soup was yummy.

The coriander paneer starter was nice but little bland-ish.

The veg gravy was yum. The fruit punch was good.

Their Jamaican sandwich is yum, good pesto and good cheese.

Have eaten just twice here, both times were good.

Only complaint was that they asked us to leave as soon as we payed the bill, as other customers were waiting.. that was really rude and unnecessary as we would have left in a minute.

This place located in jayanagar is a pure veg place and is awesome place to go with family and friends. The place serves north Indian and pan Asian food and everything here looks so good.
I tried a tandoori starter which had mushroom and brocoli, Dal makhani along with sizzling tawa veg and everything was really good. Also tried the fruit shots they were also really good. If you are visiting on a weekend you will have to wait.

We chanced upon this restaurant during search for a veg place the served oriental cuisine. This place is rated 4 stars and above review and is located in south Bangalore which fell within our criteria. A pretty cozy place with not too many tables and serves a lot of different cuisines. We decided to try the Soya chaap, and were pleasantly surprised. The marinade was spot on, with the right amount of smoky coal flavour. The accompanying chutney and pickled onions were brilliant as well. Moving to the main course, we asked for a recommendation and were suggested the hunan style wok for chinese. We were a little apprehensive with the jasmine rice , but the gentleman assured us the it would be a palatable and was one of their sought after dishes. We weren’t let down. It was plated brilliantly as well, a wok with rice and hunan sauce in the middle. It tatsed as good as it looked.Thumbs up fir that. If there was anything to. It pick it was their mocktails, the virgin pincolada had a very strong coconut flavour, more than our liking and the blueberry based drink as well was just ok. I guess there is a room for improvement there. But one can’t get everything right. Will suggest this places especially if in a group and you have a difficult time choosing a cuisine.

Hi
I love good food and also love trying different cuisines.
On one such hunt for good food we came across Thyme and Whisk in Jayanagar, Bangalore(Which we had been planning to go for quite some time now, After much created HYPE by some of the customer’s)

Finally the day came when we decided to have lunch there, We had ordered Cheesy Alfredo pasta and Hunan Style wok.
The pasta was creamy and tasty but the quantity was very less for the price charged (major disappointment), Where as Hunan Wok was a total waste of money and did not feel anything fancy or special for the price what we paid again.( Felt like I was having white rice with instant hot and sour soup on top of it ☹️)

Place 4/5
Food 2/5
Staff 4/5

Have been meaning to visit this place for a while and finally went on a Friday evening. The place was occupied but not crowded. Got a table immediately. The menu is quite exhaustive and different. We tried sweet corn Salad, Dal Makhani Shots & Paneer Shashlik Sizzler. We liked all the dishes but, liked the Sizzler the best. Although, the ambience and service was good, we did not feel that the prices are justified against the portion size served. You can surely check out this place once. With the ever increasing options of newer places, I am not sure if we would go back here.

I am a big time Non-Veg eater, one of friend suggested this place. Though its pure vegetarian, i dared to visit this place. But i was not disappointed after eating starters, raagi pizza and pasta. Chocolate pani poori was the best finisher. They justified the caption .. lets non-vegetarians jealous 👌👍 Good Job guys 👏🏼👏🏼

This one is my favorite place ..
A must visit place is
The food served here is absolutely yummy all the dishes which we tried was great with a cool ambience and the staff here are very friendly and that makes you feel good .. They can customize the dish for you if you want any changes to be done that's the best part

We tried

French fries
Chilli guava mocktail
Smokey pizza
Veg crisper basically a veg Manchurian type
Jalapeno Cheese nuggets
And my fav SIGNATURE GARLIC BREAD
This one is must try I just loved that .. where ordered it for the second time again ..

So on the rating of 5

Food taste 5/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 5/5
Value for money 4/5

Hence I suggest you all to visit this place once..

Not sure why this place has such a high rating? What is everyone else eating here?

We ordered the "gourmet" Swiss cheese fondue. What a total trainwreck! No Swiss cheese, not a fondue, nothing gourmet about it.
They don't seem to know the meaning of any of the words on the menu - There was no Cheddar OR Emmental cheese in there; no focaccia bread or nuggets accompanying it and no fondue burner to keep it hot. Burner wasn't needed anyway because we basically got lumpy yellow processed cheese flavored sauce with some pieces of toasted bread and some stir fried veggies.

Did they not bother to check what a fondue even IS? Did they think nobody would notice? Fondue doesn't even need any cooking. Were we ripped off? So many questions.
Deesha Jain
Loved the food. Place is a bit small but nevertheless everything we ordered turned out to be good. Sizzling tawa masala and butter kulcha was yum. The menu is vast. The staff can be trained better. Would definitely visit the place again.

Small restaurant, but tasty food. If going on weekends, gotta wait for more than an hour for the table.
But family friendly vegetarian food
Sriprabha Gopalan
Loved the fusion food, will be back to try more!

They have a surprisingly humungous menu which took my quiet sometime to go through and pick what I wanted to. The Hungarian Cheese Fries is probably the weirdest fries I've ever had and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Fusion Tandoori Momos, Broccoli Almond soup were amazing.

Looking at Zomato rating we had high expectations but we found it very low on count of food taste , quality and even value for money
Vinay Budigere
Food was excellent,
Tried the most recommended Pink sauce pasta and Sizzler, both were excellent.

Ambience is quite bright and lively.
What we didn't like is, every staff member assumes everyone knows Hindi, instead English would be preferred to communicate.
Very average restaurant, location is not good - right on the main road where there’s lot of traffic. Ambience inside is poor, cramped place. Food is just about average.
Menu cards were torn and dirty.

Would not recommend to anyone.

Good place for vegetarians. Small place but good ambience. Presentation of the food is good. Price is on the expensive side for vegetarian food.

Good service
Excellent food
Prices are a bit high.
Not very convenient for a huge gathering
Catering and speed of food preparation could be improved

They booked my table when I called and said it will take 15 min, came out from some other restaurant as it was taking longer, I come here and the guy says there is no booking and we need to wait, 45 min into waiting and still no signs of getting a table, horrible service!!!
Damian Antony
I had ordered an item which they did not serve, and later asked if we could cancel.
It would have been better if they would have double checked the order right at the start and make sure the customer is informed of the wait time and ensure the same order is placed in the kitchen.
But overall food quality, ambience and service is good.
Aditya Raghavan
Brilliant!!

Multi cuisines under one roof usually end up being spoofs and the experience doesn't stay beyond the meal but my oh my is this place awesome!! They've got modern versions of dishes from various cuisines and we tried 5 different dishes from different cuisines. Guess what they were all literally awesome and we were left licking our fingers.

This is a small cosy place so seating is limited. And Sundays is first come first serve. It does get quite busy so arrive early for a relaxed meal!
Chinmayi M
Slurrpppp!!! Heaven for vegetarians!! Totally loved the food and it was worth the wait. The food was cooked to perfection!! And the presentation was bang on!! Small place not that comfortable but would love to visit again!!! Staff needs to be more proactive in suggesting the dishes for first timers but otherwise it's a must visit place!!!
Rajat Ramesh
Went here on a Saturday for lunch with the fam!

Small place, quite cozy. The tables are a little too close to each other which felt a little uncomfortable for me.

Food's good.

They serve a wide range of cuisines!

Yesterday we had been to there , nice place , very good service and atmosphere, good location and upon all very tasty foods with huge menu that too pure veg.. I must say nice place for family

Yesterday I visited this restaurant with 4 of my family members. We enjoyed the food. Very nice to have such a good vegetarian restaurant having very wide range of menu to vegetarians. The ambience is excellent. Service is courteous and very good in understanding the food specifications. We will surely visit again and again. My sincere advice to the management to maintain the quality and service.

Best place for vegetarians to visit again and again. You will be spoiled for choice.

Chilly Guava mocktail, Tandoori Momo, Mushroom Tikka are simply awesome.

Very good place. Best interior and service was fast. Food was awesome with excellent drinks. Jayanagar has got many places to eat but this is the best..
Munesh Chahar
Had awesome experience.. its truly veg paradise in Bangalore.. they really have unique dishes for vegetarians... must try all dishes... my most favourite guava chilli mocktails and tandoori fisson momos..
TK Venkatesh
My sincere advice avoid this place, don't go by zomato rating, and be fooled, waste of money... Ordered basic fried rice which was supposed to be chef's special as in menu and it was worst than the street side food... Generally I don't complaint, but this time I was so off that I raised a complaint on zomato regarding the issue, also called the restaurant but the staff were definitely careless guys called the owner directly and gave a good sentence...
VIKRAM SHANKAR
Innovative, quality ingredients, and good presentation. I had a good experience with the mocktails, starters, main course, and ice cream! Would gladly recommend this place.

This is a really cute place in Jayanagar. We were a group of 6 and we loved the food.

It boasts a vast menu so you might get spoilt for choice. We ordered :
Broccoli and almond soup - fresh and delicious
Bulky yummy nachos - my favourite. The chips were perfectly crispy and the beans were flavourful. They have extra cheese on the side if you needed.
Tandoor platter - this was good to share between 6 of us. The paneer tikka was the winner in the platter.
Lasagne - my guilty pleasure of the day. It was cheesy yet it wasn’t overdone.
Ching Mai wok - this was a spicy coconutey curry with jasmine rice. Excellent if you’re a fan of coconut flavour.

I’d say this place is a must try. I am definitely going back!
Had been here for dinner last Friday . Ratings as follows as per my experience :
Ambience : 2/5
Food :5/5
Service :4/5
Price :4/5

Except for the cramped place and basic ambience the food makes up for it big time .

Good rated restaurant for vegans ..... Ample number of dishes to try for. But pricing is but high.
Have the only problem is they don't have a proper table setup which is more conjegsted.

Charging extra for Raita is very bad.
Other than that everything is fine.

Be prepared to wait for your turn if you are going to this place on a weekend. It has Bristo in its name, but not the one. It's prices are little on higher side. It's a all veg restaurant and has lot of options. Food is ok. Ambience is decent and service is good.

Ambience - 3/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 2/5 VFM - 3/5 Parking - No

3.5 Actually

Thyme and Whisk has one of the most innovative and exhaustive vegetarian menus I've seen in some time. The serve a range of cuisines and uts a great place to taste it all under one roof.
The biggest pain point is the tediously slow service. But let me start with the good things. The ambience and decor is bright and homely, a touch retro. Waiters are smartly dressed and polite.
We started with Tom Yum Phak, a Thai mixed veg soup with a distinct sour taste, by the lemon grass, sour tomato and galangal. It was a thin, clear soup with amee veggies. A good start to the meal.
Next up was Wok tossed chestnuts. The waiter offered us a choice of Thai style, with coconut vased sauce or Chinese style with a spicy schezuan sauce, and we went for the Thai style. And it was one mind blowing dish. Crisply fried water chestnuts and corn in an amazing gravy with basil and kaffir leaves, it was unlike anything I'd had earlier. A must try dish, for sure.
Next up was Grilled Quasadilla, stuffed with assorted veggies and served with a red sauce and mayo. The tortilla sheets were fresh and soft, and the filling was wholesome and not very spicy.
But these two dishes took ages to arrive at the table. And were served sequentially with a lot of gap in between. So much so that we finally decided to skip main course and go for desserts directly, as my companion had a flight to catch. After being told that the house special Devil Chocolate Bombe wasn't available, we settled for Twin Chocolate waffle after an express assurance by the waiter that he'll substitute the vanilla ice cream with chocolate. After waiting for around 15min and two reminders later, when the waiter told is the waffle was ready and being topped up, we get two cold and hard biscuits topped with chocolate cream and chips, and vanilla ice cream. The waiter justified with a 'must have forgotten', and reluctantly offered to add a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The waffle wasn't great either, and was served cold and was hard. Cant imagine why it should take 15 minutes to serve a piece of cold and hard biscuit topped with chocolate, and why anyone should call it a waffle.

Anyway, I'll still.give them the benefit of doubt, with a serious request to speed up service. Apart from the dessert, the other dishes were very good. The menu too made me feel its worth visiting this place again.

Jaynagar of late has some really nice places opening up for vegetarians and this is one too!! It was a really crowded weekend and despite booking a table we had to wait 20 mins (almost changed our minds, but so glad we didn't _ The food was excellent and negated the disappointing waiting.
We had the Bombay Misal soup & will say it was like having a liquid pavbhaji/misal mix- it was flavorful and yum!!
Our appetizers except for the melting nachos(nothing beats the one at Litle Italy) were really tasty- spicy and was impossible to stop nibbling at them!
The chipotle sizzler and our Pizza ensured we had no space for any dessert at all!!
There are so many more dishes we would love to try again, their twists on regular food is a experience to enjoy!!
Other than waiting, the huge crowd meant slower service, wish it was prompter!! EOD - Food gets a 5 from us!

A quirky gourmet place with some old school interiors and some innovative dishes. This all veg place has something for everyone. Our rainy Sunday afternoon was made better with the Mexican Tortilla soup. It's was the first time I had such a soup and it was delicious. It was followed by the Pink pasta which is basically red sauce and white sauce pasta mixed with veggies and that also was delightfully good. The sevice was prompt and the ambience inside was decent with comfortable seating. Would definitely visit again to have some of the other dishes like Sizzlers and pizza's. Well for another Sunday veg brunch then.
Overall 4.5/5

The place is located very well and the food and presentation is amazing. And it's a pure vegetarian restaurant... I visited on a Sunday, so it was kind of over crowded but otherwise the staff, the ambience was great.
