Ambur Star Biryani is a culinary gem that encapsulates the essence of authentic South Indian biryani. This restaurant, with its humble beginnings in the town of Ambur, has now earned a stellar reputation in the heart of Bangalore. The star attraction, of course, is the biryani itself. At Star Ambur Biriyani, their Chicken Biriyani stands out as a flavorful delight, perfectly complemented by the delectable Brinjal Curry, and the Nethly Fry adds an extra layer of deliciousness to the combination, making it a must-try for biriyani enthusiasts. The restaurant offers an excellent culinary experience for those seeking a delightful taste of Ambur-style biriyani and authentic South Indian flavors.

Ambur star biriyani is one of the best biryani in tamil nadu. The taste was like yummy some years back but nowadays a huge lag in the taste. The brinjal gravy taste also went down nowadays. The management needs to revisit the masala and the taste.the rates are bit high and quantity is also moderate. Overall rating :above average

Got their chicken biriyani home for lunch. The Biriyani here is typically Ambur styled made with seeraga sambha (short grain) rice and is mildly spicy. The chicken was well cooked and the flavours were perfect. The Biriyani also comes with onion raita and a brinjal side which goes well with the rice. The quantity was sufficient for a single person and the packaging was top notch. Will surely recommend.

The place is good for lovers of authentic Ambur-style biryani. I have been a frequent visitor to this place for many years now. In between, the quality had dipped a bit, but they have bounced back and enhanced the quality of their legendary biryani. When you are at this place in BTM Layout, ask for Mr. Kamal to take your order. He listens to your requirements very carefully and caters accordingly. I am especially impressed by his hospitality. Mr. Chandra was helpful as well in terms of getting things to the table in almost real time. Parking a 4-wheeler can be of little concern as you have to park your vehicle on the main road, very close to the pavement.

Review 1: Title: A Flavorful Delightful I recently had the pleasure of trying chicken biryani from a local restaurant, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. The chicken was tender and well-marinated, bursting with flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked and infused with aromatic spices that added a delightful warmth to each bite. What impressed me the most was the perfect balance of spices used in the biryani. The combination of cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, and other spices created a symphony of flavors that were both robust and harmonious. Every grain of rice was coated in this delectable blend, ensuring that no bite was bland or lacking in taste. The chicken pieces were succulent and had absorbed the flavors of the marinade beautifully. Each bite was a delightful combination of juicy chicken, fragrant rice, and the occasional burst of flavor from the whole spices scattered throughout. The dish was garnished with caramelized onions, which added a hint of sweetness and a lovely crunch to the overall texture. Portion-wise, it was generous, and I was left feeling completely satisfied. The presentation of the biryani was also commendable, with the vibrant colors of the spices peeking through the rice. It was evident that a lot of care and attention to detail went into preparing this dish. In conclusion, this chicken biryani was an absolute treat for the taste buds. It showcased the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine. If you're a fan of aromatic spices and deliciously tender chicken, I highly recommend giving this biryani a try. You won't I recently tried the chicken biryani from a new restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience. The first thing that struck me was the lack of aroma. Biryani is known for its enticing fragrance, but this particular dish seemed to fall short in that department. The chicken pieces were dry and overcooked, lacking the tenderness I had expected. The flavors were also quite underwhelming. The spices seemed muted and the overall taste was rather flat. The rice lacked the distinct flavors that make biryani so special, and it felt like a plain rice dish with chicken on top. Furthermore, the biryani lacked the traditional garnishes and accompaniments that usually accompany this dish. There were no caramelized onions, raita (yogurt sauce), or any other condiments to enhance the flavor. It felt like a bare-bones version of what should have been a flavorful and complete meal. In terms of presentation, it left much to be desired. The dish lacked visual appeal and looked quite unappetizing. The rice was clumpy and lacked the fluffy texture that is characteristic of a well-cooked biryani. Overall, I was disappointed with the chicken biryani from this particular restaurant. It lacked the vibrant flavors and aromatic spices that make biryani so popular. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic biryani experience. There are certainly better options out there.
