What an amazing retro themed 80s style bar man .
How thoughtful and creative these people went beyond to create the story line of the place .
Highly impressed with ols cassettes and vintage props giving local yet stunning bar vibes .
Absolutely chillout place with bunch of friends and watching matches .
Food is curated so well by chef and the highlight is gajar ka halwa with icecream ...
Highly recommeding !

The place is very old school and decorated extremely well. We were there on the Halloween evening and the place was just lit for the occasion! It has a lot of antique items and we had the age old cassettes in the dining area display. This led to a lot of nostalgic moments among our friends and initiated a lot of discussions too. The service is ultra quick and the team is responsive. However, they serve primarily Indian food and parking may be an issue (4 wheeler).

An ambience which brings in a flavour of both trendy and retro. Has old comics, coins, article etc which cherish your memories. Good food and a wide range of bar menu. Service is a bit slow which can be improved. On the whole a good place over a weekend.
Archana Chakravarthy
A under rated place but a great choice for a eve out. The food and drinks is awesome for a gossip amongst family or a catch up amongst friends.
The service is quick and people are on the job correctly.

Best place to hangout and have conversations with friends and family.
The Ambience is good , was mesmerised with the interiors and the collections they have.
Coming to the food starters are spot on but main course needs options just like how barbecue nation provides then it'll be the best.
Parking is not viable so find a suitable space to park or arrive via cab or bike.

Everything about Blyton's is just amazing. The ambience, the food, the staff, the hygiene, every single thing is just amazing. They've kept a lot of antique things throughout their place. Must check that out for sure.

Pros: Tasty food. Great service. Place was not crowded. Loved the way they themed the 90s Comics and antiques. Good place to chill all day
Cons: Suggestion their choice of drink was limited.

Blytons is a great place in Sahakarnagar for a drink. Wide choice on the bar and food menu, service is prompt and efficient. Hope they are doing well, we were there on a Sunday evening, and many tables were unoccupied.
A big negative is the lack of parking and in its absence, valet parking. Could be a reason for the unoccupied tables!

If you're craving the 80s and the 90s feel a must visit. Good retro ambience bringing back a lot of the childhood memories. Same time with the music which is also another pull to the place. A must visit if you are old school.

Good service and interior decoration. I ordered long Island Ice and felt that the amount and taste could have been better.

It was Dinner.
Nice location, ambience is fine. You have 3 options to sit walkway, inside and upstairs.
We were sitting at Walkway. We had Beer (Jugs) Beer was lite.chicken tikka, aloo, chichken majestic - tasted nice.
Veg fried rice and chicken fried rice was good.
Especially you should try desserts Ooty Pan Roll ( This is must - A celebration to your taste buds) & Caramel custard, Gulab Jamun with Rabadi (was too sweet but OK to try).
They don't have dedicated parking, you have plenty of space to park on road side.

Food prices are high compared to others. But the quality of food is very tasty and delicious. Alcohol prices are also slightly higher. Ambience and seating are not bad.

Food was really great 👍 👌. Food was all worth for price mutton ghee roast was unbelievable. Thai green curry was at other level bt the rice they gave was very little.
Place os under construction so may be after that will have good seating area..

I was not sure about the place because of its review but once I ate there, I was taken aback! The food is very tasty, good beer, amazing music and interesting decor.
I would definitely go again. I think the rating doesn't tell the full story of the place.

So we dropped in at this place with a confusion that it’s barley and grapes 🤪
Ordered sangria, pita bread, pasta ,egg mustard sandwich .
Service was prompt
And staff was also helpful .
What I didn’t liked is the food ,sandwich looked very homely more like a toast ,pasta was tasteless .
Place was quite empty on Sunday afternoon .ambience is nice and as it’s a themed restaurant we liked it .

The ambience is cool and calm. This place gives you a scope to interact with your companions as the music is mild and the volume is appropriate. The menu doesn't give you many options but when you talk to the steward they help you out. Overall a place that I would want to visit again.

It's your usual place.. When I went last time, I saw manager spoke very rudly with a lady server. It jus was too rude and my mood was off. Complained to the manager but don't think he did anything Abt it. No respect for women here

Lovely ambience ,well done up retro style decor, curteous staff , overall a fabulous place to hang out and have a couple of drinks and some yummy food !

Nice ambience . Friendly staff . Tried their Kabab was very salty . And tried tandoori chicken which was good and also tried their fried rice . Refreshing place with good food . But very expensive . Fries were charged 400₹

Quite close to where I stay and the food and drink quality is good and they offer 1+1 on drinks and starters first of it's kind as far as I know for this combo. The food is decent enough. The drinks are quite good. The staff is courteous. Less burn on your pocket if you start the party before 7.30 and this is on every day, how cool is that includes all 7 days of week. If you have a gang and want to catch up this is a nice place with not lot of background noise. Place is better when the weather outside is chilling.
Harsh Bhutani
They claim happy hours till 8 p.m on weekdays which clearly written on the menu.I reached 7.30 and then they said happy hour is till 7.30 only when i told them the timing on menu they said they have changed the timing .And there is no manager also on duty . The pub is running only by stewards .
My four stars just go out to the unique design concept of the menu and the dining tables. At the entrance, there was no one to guide and sit us at a table. Food was served quickly and portion sizes were reasonable. Staff could be a bit more courteous and prices looked upon, since there are many more choices around. I am not asking to reduce prices at the cost of quality, but improve the overall service standards.... No hesitations to visit again....
Shashank Palur
Great place, good beers. Food is decent and moderately priced. Happy hours give you great deals. The staff is very polite and service is great.
Nandita
Surprisingly you get to try quarter plates a + to try many starters.. chic place to hangout with friends or family and cordial staff.. food menu not much of options but can give a try with quarter plates😜
Kushal Srivastava
Place is decent...
Place can be visited along family or friends or with your special ones.
Happy hours between 4pm to 7:30pm.
Theme of ambiance is based on vintage style specially 90's kids can relate.
Ambiance is good.
Service and serving is good.
Food i would say had decreased in taste.
Have been to place 5 times as good place to chill out.
The service was outstanding, pradeed thapa was excellent with his servive, I always like to come to this place, I enjoyed to hang out with my friends in blytons. I wish to come to blytons everyday.
Vidya Seenappa Dayananda
The food was extremely good and worth every penny . the best part is they don't charge any service charge a d still the hospitality is so good . Their happy hours is too tempting .
Swati Pathak
Ambience and service is good.. food taste is also good but food quantity is less than what it says in the menu.. in menu it says it serves 6people but it serves 3-4 people...
Emily JustEm
Beautifully designed interior with a varied menu. Having visited 4 times I have found the food quality very unpredictable. The first time it was great, and the subsequent times average and the very last time poor.

I visited this place after a long day at office, its not very happening. My table was booked on the first floor where music was not audible, service was too slow and lots of mosquitos. Ordered non veg platter which was too oily. Malgudi days a cocktail was barely drinkable extremely dilute and tasteless did not find traces of mango pulp as stated in the menu. Overall average experience.
Rajeeb D Kekerott
This place is awesome to hangout...I m setting in bar with my friends and I had one coketail it's suggest by Mr Kunal ... and the cocktail was awesome the bartender told me about this cocktail everyone like this cocktail .... thankyou for good service and good communication ... nxt time I m sure visit this place again ....

Blytons is a new place to Sahakarnagar Neighbourhood which is next to Barley and Grapes.

So it seems to be more like a retro style restaurants back to the 90’s with a kind of ambience they provide as well as the decor, the lights and I was in love with the music which they played mild and sober kind !

I visited this restaurant on the occasion of my parents marriage anniversary so we preferred the outdoor seating ( You can choose your seating they have both indoor as well as outdoor seating )

Now coming to the dishes we opted for

• Chicken Nachos - Which consisted of the normal veggies along with tender pieces of chicken .

• Fish and Chips - Which was the worst thing I ever tasted, we ordered for something like tawa fry but they served the deep oil fried !

• Macroni Cheese - This was okayish but wasn’t that spicy but was bland so you got a improve this dish too .

• Chicken Malai Tikka - Chicken pieces was tender and grilled with a tandoor flavour !

• Fresh Cream Pineapple Cake - This cake had layers soft and nice with the pineapple flavour on top .

- So overall was happy with the ambience but the service needs to be improved as it’s very slow !

- Parking is not an issue as they have Valet Parking !!
A restaurant which motivates you to revisit the classic comics while you wait! Gets you high on nostalgia. The ambience is fine. Food is fine too, but could have better menu options. A good place for groups to hang out.

This place has the most juicy steaks. The lamb steak is a must try when you visit this place. Super fast service and the ambiance has a vintage touch. It takes me back to my childhood days and refreshing all the good old memories we had. Friendly on the pocket. Recommending this place to everyone and don’t forget to try the lamb steak!❤️

I ordered for Chicken Vindaloo the other day and I specifically asked if they knew to prepare Vindaloo and they assured me tht it wld be proper goan style and what I got was some north Indian chck curry no vinegar nothing, portion extremely small, highly priced. Worst experience and wldnt recommend this place to anyone.

The ambiance and the service is pretty good but lacks in the taste of the food.

The veg wasn't good and few pieces of the tofu tasted bad (rotten)

But if you come to non veg, their chicken dishes were delicious with good flovours.
Jahnavi Verma
Absolutely loved the ambience, and great service and brilliant food.A must try for sure. Definitely coming back here for sure, thank you 4 the experience

Really surprised to see the low ratings. The place is really good for family and couples.

Excellent food options available and the has a never ending menu. My favorite :

- Country captain
- Cotton button
- Baked Alaska (must try)

Enjoyed every bit of it.. If you still wanna try something sober head to Barely and grapes !! Period

It’s a new place in town
Close by to home, what makes it the best is you can get to this place without the hassle of the Bangalore traffic
The ambience is good
The staff are helpful
The food is good , we liked all except the deciles crab (and when we raised it with the management they made necessary arrangements)
Overall it was a good experience
Ani
Cool Ambience, Yummy Cocktails & Decent Fud with Mixed Crowd.. This place gives U a retro feel with there Music & Ambience.. For Cocktails I tried 🤔 & Bloody Carrie which was yummy.. Blytons is a new foodie's paradise opened at Sahakarnagar. I had a chance to visit the restaurant recently and was quite impressed with their ambience and decorations. You would see all the favourite characters from your comic book live everywhere in the restaurant. Even the menu card has some sort on each page. They have seatout area both in the ground floor and top floor.
We had ordered my all time favorite fish and chips. Along with that we had ordered cream of tomato soup and chelo kebab.
I was amazed to see the fish chips as it was not the normal fish fry I have tried earlier in Blore but it was more of a kind of fish batter fry served with french fries. And I had liked the taste of it.
I was trying chelo kebab for the first time and I totally liked it. Chelo kebab consists of a platter that had succulent juicy pieces of chicken kebab, mutton kebab served with butter rice, tomato Barbecue and sunny side up.
I had enjoyed my dining over there and would like to come back again.

I give this place five star is good its interiors. They have an old school concent work lots of nostalgic memories. Had been here too for a family get together.
Food served here is perfect. Had ordered pasta, veg n non-veg platter, peanut masala, mutton cuttlet, nachos and ice cream cake.
Coming to alcohol, it is fairly priced.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday for lunch. If there was an option of ZERO, I would give this restaurant that. For all the meticulous detail gone towards the interiors of the place, the exact opposite has been put to staff training and food.

Staff: absolutely zero knowledge of their menu and food. Even the manager is completely clueless on the items. For every little query we had, they had to get clarification from the chef. The menu items have quirky names though not quite sure how they relate to the dish. Explanation to dishes given are neither accurate nor self explanatory. So after a while it gets extremely frustrating with a menu that makes little sense and an absolutely clueless staff.

Food: truly don't know where to begin. For starters we ordered the Jump (Jerk chicken) and a salad (bacon, black pudding, mozorella and walnut salad). The jerk chicken tasted and looked like Schezwan chicken - nothing close to a Jamaican rub as written in the menu. We were given to understand the owner doesn't quite care that the dish is accurate. To pay ₹270 for a salad whose main ingredient is missing I.e. black pudding (sausage) is ridiculous. What's worse, when I asked the staff where it was in the dish, I was told it's a type of nut and its in there. Lol!

For the main course we ordered the Captain Curry with coconut rice. The only saving grace to our meal. However the mutton pieces were miniscule - 4 in number.

After all this we decided to skip dessert all together.

A Saturday afternoon not well spent.

The ambience is good and brings back memories that we had almost forgotten. Though one would think the theme of the 90s comics and short stories don't mix well with the music, both seemed to go well with each other. The menus are pretty interesting too. Food was good but I was a little disappointed with the drink. Maybe I should try something else next time.Giving 3 stars mainly for the interesting menus.

I was very excited that something good is getting open near to my home ... But after being thr I can say that even local small restaurant cooks better than them... They don't have etiquette on how to deal with people... Thr staff behavior is not at all good...

On top of that thr worst music system , which I feel like they are playing for some college becholar party... ...

The photos are shared on Google are paid one... I seriously doubt the chef even know about dishes ....

A good place to unwind on the 60ft road. Tastefully done interiors with a retro touch. Food is tasty and of adequate portions. Right from the entrance, the staff are well behaved and polite. Not too hard on your pockets either. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice evening! Thanks guys!!

Never EVER WOULD I SUPPORT A PLACE WHICH IS NOT GOOD FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS PEACE.

This place is NO different.
they are next to my home..
They are open setup and on top of that, they play SUPER LOUD SOUND Even after knowing that people are BADLY AFFECTED BY IT..

Your food and service should bring customers Not your wrath upon local residents.

Its February and Kids are having final exams in March onwards.. still you are not worried and your loud music will not let them study..

Are you really SERVING SOCIETY???

If this problem is not solved, then my area also may end up being a fighting place like Indiranagar where residents are suffering like hell

Anyways, nothing much but MAY GOD BLESS YOU with right fruit of your hard work

I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to update / change this review to a positive one the moment the noise pollution problem is solved.

Food NA
Liquor NA
Ambience NA
STAFF NA

Road to Desk Accessibility : BAD, you need lot help to reach desk

Note:

This is my personal view.. People are free to take their own calls whether to visit or not visit this place.

The place , ambience and seating is awesome. But the service is pathetic. You will experience all kinds of mishaps here right from missed orders, horrible delays and bad service. The waiters have a care a Damn attitude and no one knows what’s happening to your order status. Everyone has a standard response of 2 Mins. They seriously need to work on customer service. Don’t think I will ever come back to this place..

Blytons makes you feel you like a star as soon as enter. They have strong-watted lights at the entrance that makes you wink your eyes. That’s where the good ambience starts. The retro feel to everything at the place makes you gape in awe.

Service is prompt and they could do with more of vegetarian choices I feel. Looking around, I didn’t see one dish presented in an ungainly manner. These are early days for them. I hope they keep continuing this as well begun is half done

Small cozy place thought fully made with a lot of nostalgic elements. Like this table I was seated in had a lot of old cassettes from the bygone era embedded in it. There were a lot of old Radios of those times placed at odd spots. Coming to the drink and food, it was well made. Cocktails were pretty good and the Coconut rice & chicken Molee was particularly yummy for those who have a penchant for coconut byproducts. Service wasn't anything great to be spoken about but they went about doing their job with minor attention lapses here and there. Staff were extra courteous in their mannerisms I must add.

Newly opened Bar and Restaurant in Sahakaranagar area. The management is the same as Barley & Grapes Cafe which is right adjacent to Blytons. Blytons has a fresh look with great interiors, seating area on the ground and first level with full bar (draught beer as well). Some lovely food options are available too. Currently the restaurant timings are 6pm to 11pm but soon they will be functional from afternoon time. One of the staff members Sarah guided us through the restaurant and briefed us about the place and menu with a smile on her face.

This place is actually in Sahakara Nagar.
Good:
Ambience
Service
Staff were really good.
Food , I didn’t taste much though

Can be better:
Alcohol pricing
I am sure if you re work on the alcohol price then you might run full house every night.
