Review Cafe Mor'ish - Bengaluru

ADT
We went here for breakfast. It’s a cute little hole in the wall. I liked that their menu was not too vast which made choosing much easier. We ordered a spinach corn omlette and the French toast platter. It came with a decent bunch of accompaniments. The food was tasty. The french toast was a bit too small. The server who waited on us was a really nice young chap with the brightest smile. We enjoyed our meal here.

I visited this place around 3.30pm and the place was not so crowded. Service staff is very friendly and the service is quick. Place is maintained very neatly and the atmosphere with music gives you good vibe. We ordered chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla icecream, cold coffee and strawberry Mocktail. Strawberry Mocktail - 10/10 Fudge brownie - 9/10, brownie was little dry for me, other than that it was really tasty. Cold coffee- 10/10 Price is reasonable. They have scan and card payment. I will definitely visit this place again.

A small cosy cafe on the Richmond main road , limited and very good choice of options on the menu for both Veg and Non Veg. Limited seating capacity and only draw back is that wait time is little longer and that pains when you're super hungry.. but it's definitely worth the wait.. they actually take time to get your food well presented and also very delicious.. would say try once and this cafe will not disappoint you. The staff is also courteous and has a smile on their face . At least I have not faced any issues so far and one of my fav cafes on Richmond road. Pricing is also economical compared to other cafes around the area. Try out once .

After visiting India for three weeks I was ready for an American breakfast. Found this place nearby. Nice mix of western and Indian dishes. Service was excellent. Food came out fast. The food presentation was excellent and it tasted great. Place had a modern decor and clean. Great little setting on the corner as well. They were playing American country music in the back ground. Kind of made me homesick for my home state of Texas. Price was really reasonable for what my wife and I ordered. In summary, this is a great gems. 5 stars and highly recommended. I will definitely be coming back again.

Really lived the ambience and food here, very nostalgic location , this premises was one and only Citibank ATM in late 90's ..the guy serving food was very receptive ...no complaints about food , the pricing is reasonable according to the location..overall feel good experience

Went in for a quick lunch, for a choice of Burgers , Wraps and Salads, with drinks. Good taste, fresh food and friendly staff. The parking space was also decent.

A very cozy place with wonderful food, atleast can vouch for the breakfast menu. Very filling and freshly cooked, the staff serves very cordially. The second time we went, had the good luck of meeting the owner, Mr Sanjay, who seemed to be a very humble man and served us himself. A must visit place. 04 Jun23. Came again on a short trip and had a hearty breakfast with my son. Thanks once again

Excellent food, Extensive and seasonal menu to a particular standard. Total Hygiene maintained. Servers truly cares and happy to help . Delicious food like Cafe Morish Salad, Burmese Khao suey veg, Thai gree curry, Veg loaded Cheese burger. You just can't Restraint yourself having all of the dishes. Great place to hang out.

Good for a quick bite in the heart of Bangalore. All preparations are great in taste, as well as quantity. Decor can be more creatively done.

There are times when you select a place based on the photos uploaded in zomato of the ambience. I did that for this place and was quite disappointed. As soon as I entered the place it looked really small and cramped with just a few tables, where as the photos in zomato showed something else. I knew something was wrong and asked the staff. They said those were photos of the first floor which is closed! Well we had no choice but to sit in that cramped place! Normally when you want to go to a coffee shop for coffee and snacks in the evening, you like a relaxed place where you can sit undisturbed for a nice chat. Unfortunately this is not that kind of place. Coming to the menu, they serve soups, salads, sandwiches, falafel, pastas, pizza. Surprisingly the choice of hot coffee and beverages is less compared to the range of snacks. We ordered hot chocolate and jalapeno cheese balls. The hot chocolate was average in taste. Not too sweet or thick. The cheese balls were baked well and were served with chili mayo sauce. They were spicy and pretty good. Rates are reasonable. Service was fine. I would only go back there if the first floor is open and spacious.

I ordered the hummus. I'm a huge fan of hummus but this was not nice at all. They didn't serve pita it was weird. Try Eatapita from kamanahalli you'll know. Sorry guys.
Navya Hemachandra
The menu is less with options but worth selecting from them as I Liked all of those and the places is just amazing beautiful and calm one!!

A quiet quaint place where you’d want to sit, watch traffic and eat pizza. We got in on a Sunday morning. There are a few chairs and table arranged in the old-fashioned way. It cannot pack a huge crowd at a time. The order took a few minutes. The dishes don’t cost much and we left with a happy smile. It’s a great place to chill in the afternoon and lazy around when it’s hot outside. At least thats what I felt being there.

Amazing soup of the day.. it was brocolli. The ambience is simple and comfortable. The service is good too.

Loved the chicken pizza, and the starters. The French fries was amazing.
This place has a decent crowd and the ambiance is also good.

A cafe in one of the most prime locations in Bangalore. They serve really good and high quality food. Taste is unique and won't find that elsewhere.
We tried -
1. Veggie Richmond Melt - 5/5 - All their burgers are served with fries. The pesto sauce tastes really good. The patty is freshly made.

2. Hot Chocolate - 3/5 - The Hot Chocolate is not thick at all. Was a bit disappointed there. But is definitely creamy.

Mori’sh a cozy cafe we have been coming for over a year. We came here today to celebrate wedding anniversary of our friend . Teriyaki Cottage cheese was a delicious treat and Pita pocket falafel is my personal favorite. Must try place!!!!

Verdict: Great place for weekend bkfst / brunch with friends. We tried a variety of egg dishes on the menu and everyone in the group loved what they ordered. Fresh salad served as a great palate cleanser.

Great place for food. Egg Benedict, Mushroom stuffed chicken is must try! Best cappuccino in town.

The eggs benedict was to die for...cosy place for a hearty and lazy weekend brunch...

Fantastic food and great service. I loved the egg white omelette and the pitta pocket falafel and the cappuccino. Must visit place for a relaxed breakfast.

Small and cosy place, they have very selected items on their menu and they excel in it.

We must agree with the fact that it was one amongst the best nachos we had. Ample amount of salsa, beans, cheese and the best part was fried cottage cheese gave it totally different taste!

We also tried their Richmond Veg Burger. An unusual burger with small patty, cheese and whole lot of veggies grilled in olive oil, totally enhanced the taste and flavor! A must try place in Bengaluru!

This was our experience; Your experience may be a better version of ours & we hope the same for you. Enlighten us about your visit and share your gyan with us.
Cheers!! #BurpOutLoudly

Visited this place with my office mates, Cafe Morish is one of the best restaurant on Richmond Road. Such a great food !! Best Pan Asian food and amazing Thai combo curry and the Alfredo chicken pasta had a right balance of rich flavor. And the ambience it is so pretty and bright.

The service was quick and the staffs are so cordial.

Perfect place for me to have dinner.

Cheers👍

Non Veg - Grilled Fish a must try and Breakfast

Veg - Anything as per ur taste .. Keep a tap on their new menu.. !!

Loved the quesadillas.. need more cafe morish. My goto place for breakfast. Love their coffee. Ambience is worth spending more. Visit for more amazing stuff.

Very nice restaraunt across the street..!! Apt for friends, family. Went along with my family for dinner. We had choice to sit upstairs for dinner and they got this all new pan asian menu. We ordered kungpao chicken and Loved the thai curry its amazing. Must visit!

Across the street and I found this very elegant restro which also looked so vibrant... And me and my grand went their for lunch, we had Mushroom stuffed chicken , Thai curry and Mori chicken. All of it was amazing. Loved the thai curry ! Best part was my grand ma and my niece loved the place.

What an amazing place to hangout with friends ... we loved the food , the staff was polite and we ordered a chicken asada pizza which was really good and a missisippie mud pie which was amazing we loved it .

What a name! wanted to ask what it meant, but forgot! We went for an early lunch, and realised good we came early, as the seating space is sort of limited. But the food was a revelation on its own! coming from pune, the menu was different, slightly limited, but good options. We ordered Veggie Richmond Melt, Nimi Cheese Mushroom Melt, Greek Pizza, Lebanese house salad, and a couple of shakes. The mushroom melt was the highlight of all, the mushrooms were indeed melting in our mouths! The marriage between the mushroom, bun and the sauces was to the point. Even the veggie Richmond melt was excellent. Pizza was ok sorts, and the shakes were nice too. Service was fast, and the waiter knew each and every item in detail. The interior décor is laid back contemporary, with good seating options for a family, small group, or solo. This also seemed an excellent place to work. Seats by the window have a good view of Richmond road, so have a cup of coffee and watch the hustle bustle whizz by! In all, it was an enjoyable experience, not to heavy on the pocket, we wondered why such places do not exist in Pune. By the time we left, people were waiting outside for a seat.

The cafe looks fancy from outside, gives it a foreign vibe/look. The staff were really welcoming and friendly, he helped me choose the dessert I wanted .
I'm not a fan of caramel so I didn't like desert, but if you are a fan of caramel sauce and the richness of chocolate it's like heaven. It's a nice place to chill and have some quiet time with friends or loved ones . Recommend it 😊

Ambience is good...Food is good but not great...Can try once.. Nothing that makes you compel to come back again... Parking available.
Service was satisfactory..
Garvit Gugnani
I ordered Mozzarella de Coroaza...it was amazing. The taste amazing. What a delight with green chutney!
Niharika Basavaraj
Cute little cafe with a Mediterranean cuisine? idk. The pasta was delicious. They seem to have good breakfast options.
Poonam Chavan
A cozy little discover in the center of the city. The place is pretty much charming for a cafe. The food and coffee were great. Service was good. A nice place for a casual hangout.
Rudhram Gajendran
Small little corner cafe on Richmond Road. Plenty of options on the menu. Menu items have a Mediterranean influence.

Food is average. Got the non veg platter, clear soup, the cream of mushroom & broccoli soup, and the Mississippi mud pie. Everything tasted mediocre. No significant flavors. Presentation was simple and elegant. But it's not just the food that adds to the overall experience.

Excellent service by Mr Matthew. Good knowledge of the Menu, cheerful and friendly. Didn't find out the name of the other staff who served us. He was very friendly too. Great work by the team at Cafe Morish. With a little tweak to the food, y'all can easily become one of the best.

Varun
The place is pretty small but quite pleasant to have a seat and taste some of the delicacies they have. The Chicken Asada Pizza was really delicious but the pastas available like the Alfredo and Nepolitana was a let down. The pricing is pretty high and the service is below average. You can probably keep this place as a last resort to go too.
Vedika
We ordered the Chicken Asada and really loved it and was of very good quality. The stars given are only for the food.
This being said, the only waiter there was very rude, after getting the wrong order he blamed the whole thing on us as well as refused on replacing the order. He was very unprofessional about the whole affair.
Harsha Gupta
A very nice cafe for group hangouts. Ambience is really nice and it's budget friendly as well. Only that the seating space on ground floor is a bit congested.
I have went with a group of friends and we have ordered non-veg platter, mini falafel pita pockets, veg nachos, meat cravers pizza, avocado-hummus wrap, falafel wrap, berry confection shake, dark racer shake, mocha mambo, super sundae and Mississippi mudpie. And all of us liked everything, there's nothing we can complain about.
Gaku Shinoda

Had been here with office frnds ... Ordered mini falafel pita pockets and it is something that everyone should try.. pizza n pasta were average and missisippi mud pie was another great thing to happen... Quite small on place but a great place to be.

Mor'ish? Cannot easily remember that name.

We had the Sundried Tomato Bruschetta with Basil pesto, which was decent, though the pesto may have been high as it felt like chutney. Tomato soup was good, Cream of Veg soup - not so much. Veg burger melt was Ok.
Sanaaz R Doust
This is a cute and cosy little place with wooden flooring in the centre of the city... the service is quick and tasty and the food is pretty good. Just wished that they had more genuine names for their dishes. They have persian dish names but none of the food is persian in taste or flavour.
Manasija Devalraju
Stepped into this place wanting to get a quick bite between meetings. This is by far the most non-standard food I had in the city. We ordered the Cottage cheese grill and the falafel wrap both of which were lip smacking yummy. Kudos to the team for keeping the ingredients fresh and innovating with flavours. Place is a must try for food lovers!
Manish Mohata
On the main road, with seating at ground as well as first floor. Tried tomato soup and Veg burger both were decent.
Veg menu list was not much but had covered all categories served.

Such a cosy little place with a waiter who's constantly smiling. Made my birthday really sweet. Ordered Grilled Summer Veg, Greek Pizza, Cafe Morish Veggie and the heavenly Mississippi Mud Pie.

Grilled Summer Veg - 4 was a totally different and new dish for me. It was flavorful. Spanish rice was fabulous.

Greek Pizza and Cafe Morish Veggie both were a 4 for me. Greek Pizza is nice and cheesy.

Mississippi Mud Pie was the show stealer. It had three beautiful layers of cake, mousse and caramel. It was cold on the outside and warm on the inside and it was a delight eating it.

Special mention to the smiling waiter! Cheers! ❤️

Cafe Morish is a cute, little place with a cosy and inviting architecture. The service is polite and quick. I tried the vegetarian options, namely the Cafe Morish salad, the Morish Veggie Pizza and Summer Veg Grilled. All of the dishes were top notch, with the freshness of yummy ingredients and a nice portion size. Absolutely loved the soft pita served with the well marinated summer veg, it was such a delightful dish. Wonderful place to hangout!

If at all I went back here, it would be for the perfect cold coffee – both in taste and quantity - and maybe the kebabs that sounded good (Persian Kebabs mostly not Moorish ones that I thought this place might be serving) on the menu. The eggs benedict was not bad, but the bread was cut unevenly so there was one big poached egg and one smaller one. The Greek Omelet looked like a pizza, tasted ok to me, my friend found it bit dry so had it with ketchup and she buttered the toast.

The beverage menu was not mor’ish, the quantity was not mor’ish, the café size was not mor’ish…not sure how they came to name this place so…🤔 It IS a cozy place, location is good and staff un-intrusive. So it is a good place for a Sunday brunch (I suspect this place gets more crowded on weekdays than on weekends) where the conversation can be limitless, uninterrupted.

Actual rating is 3.5*

We went for a quick evening snack when we were around this place.

Parking- available.

Directions- easily available on maps. But be on the right side or else you may not get a right turn for the cafe as this place is popular for traffic.

Timing- Mon-Fri: 11 am to 10.30 pm
Sat-Sun: 10am to 10.30 pm

Things to know- nothing much as it is an usual cafe

What to order- you can order pizza's, sandwiches, burger. We ordered 1 sandwich, fried onions rings and a latte coffee. Taste wise it was decent enough. The onion rings could have been more crispy. The sandwich was yummy(chicken tandoori sandwich)

Cost- it is little expensive.

Ambience- good. Pretty silent place with few lightings. It is simple and neat.

Service- service was pretty good and they had a smile on their face. Quick service too.

Overall a good place to visit with your friends and have a coffee and snacks.

- With Shibin Varghese

The food was full of flavor and the service was great. The chicken and lamb kabab tasted great and all the fresh sides and sauces were excellent. I especially loved the zazaki & rice. We were happy and will be back to try the breakfast :)

One of the more high end places in Richmond, Bengaluru, Café Morish is a very chic establishment to hangout and have some good food. The ambience is very welcoming and the staff is polite and ready. We had the Veg Clear Soup, Veg Lebanese Salad, Cafe Morish Veggie and it was a tasty meal! I definitely recommend!

On my way from airport to ecity, i walked into this cafe for a quick dinner takeaway. Am really impressed by the ambience and staff. The staff was verY courteous and friendly..the ambience had a nice quaint vibe to it. Since it was late at around 10.30pm there wasn't anyone and it really gave me that feeling of those quite cafes around the corner, in European countryside. I had ordered tomato and mushroom bruschetta and mini falafel pita pockets. Both are yumm..loved the pita pockets! Will definitely make it a point to go there again and try their other fare, on my next visit to Bangalore!

Beautiful place for a quick bite overseeing the road. Great on a bright sunny day. Ordered crispy chicken burger with fries which was very bland. 5 stars for the place though.

Great location, Cafe Mor'ish is tucked away on the corner of a busy street.

Watch the world go by as you sip your coffee or have a bite to eat.

The Richmond Masala Pasta was delicious, though not spicy at all, as we were warned it would be. The Cafe Mor'ish Veggie Pizza, though well baked, was rather bland.

Good serving size, though a tad overpriced.

The Service was quick and polite
Nice Cafe in Centre Road. Good Food and metropolis ambience. Enjoyed Cloudy Evening...has to mention to try there Falafel. It's Yam! Before tried once Egg Benedict..that also can mark. Service can be little fast. Else all good in terms.

Cosy place at the intersection of Richmond Road and Convent Road, this cafe is great for a quick bite and comfortable conversation with friends or colleagues. The salad and main course were reasonably well seasoned and flavoursome, though nothing extraordinary. The staff is polite and courteous, the prices decent and the place has a good vibe to it... Wont mind walking in again one day for another meal.

Nice small place Friendly staff smalll menu good deserts and amazing pizzas( lovely plating). I have been there a couple of times they are consistent with respect to quality and cleanliness. 5stars for the stafff!!

We ordered a Dark Racer Shake, A Lamb Burger, A Lamb Mince Quesadilla, A Brownie, Chicken Pasta Neopolitano. The Shake was nice but could have done with a bit more of Dark Chocolate to balance the espresso. The burger was excellent with a tasty accompanying coleslaw and fries. The quesadilla had its own spin which was above mediocre at the most. The chicken part of the pasta was well cooked and held its own, however the penne itself was drowned out by the sauces. The accompanying bread was freshly baked and the saving grace of the dish. The Brownie was really nice but the part that stood put was the ice cream as we found the brownie slightly too sweet for our liking. The portions are great for value and prices are reasonable though all the grills seemed overpriced. Serving was a bit slow for a cafe but that was acceptable as there was only one server and the food was prepared freshly.

Visited cafe Mor'ish and was pleasantly surprised in all aspects. Had more options for Dinner than thought. Grills with Lebanese touch were great. Family place worth a visit. Ambience : 5,
Service 4.5,
Food 5.

Parking available for dinners was great.

We ordered a cafe morish veggie pizza, veggie richmond burger, a cold coffee and a cold chocolate.
Loved the ambience, the service and the food. The pizza and the cold coffee are especially awesome.
Good place to go on dates, especially in evenings 😊

I had been wanting to try this place since over a month and I finally got a chance to go there for breakfast today.
It’s a small and quiet joint overlooking the main road but has parking facility.

Breakfast mainly includes different preparations of eggs.
Other than that it serves pastas, pizzas and wraps.

I tried the hash brown omelette, chilli cheese garlic bread (served with a delicious raw tomato and green chilli salad) and cold coffee. Freshly prepared and served. Very tasty and the best part was that it was as good as home cooked and quite moderately priced.

Would love to visit again and try their pizzas and wraps.

Food 5/5
Ambience 4.5/5
Price 4/5
Service 5/5

Have been seeing this place while passing by, finally made it to this place.

Sweet small place, parking available. Limited seating space.

Friendly staff and the menu was good.

Basic interior and gives a good relaxed feeling.

Didn’t try out anything to eat, but would 100% return to taste the food.

Tea was made fresh which is good.

Post my next visit will be able to decide whether the current rating stands, at the moment it is 4 from my side.

Best place in that area for deserts😍😍.. Had pasta but was disappointed... but tried Fudge brownie that has made me happy🤗🤗... You don’t have many options nearby so this place is good to go with smaller group

Great place with really friendly staff and good service. I had the pizza and breakfast sausage and both tasted delicious. The desserts here also really good.

Anytime best Pasta's in Cafe Morish and best melts in town, i tried pasta's in many places in Bangalore, I felt tasteless and decided never to taste in India. But trust me started liking it after Cafe Morish. Good part they server Halaal meat.

It's a new outlet in Richmond road, which serves pizza,Burger, grills, wraps, pastas and some shakes..It has no alcohol.
The interior is like a bistro with few tables and a small place. It has an upstairs place also but is not open yet.
We had tried some veg wraps and grills and it was awesome. Also the dessert chocolate browie with vanilla ice cream was delicious. The lemon tea was also good.
Price is reasonable and the service was average.
Can give a try again once the upstairs place is open.

Amazing place for quick bite and tasty food. Ambiance is open and variety of eating options. Loved it and will come back soon. Authentic continental breakfast and dinner menu. Offers both indoor & outdoor seating options. Must visit.

the best place to have English food. You have the best pasta in town. The chilli and cheese garlic bread is a delight for people who love spicy food .

I ordered the fudge brownie and the BBQ sandwich. The latter was delicious, the bread was fluffy and light. The fudge brownie had a nice ring to the sweetness of the flavour. It's a small cafe but it does seem cozy.

Cafe Mor'ish is a relatively new place to hang out on Richmond road. Their Quesadillas and pizzas are of extremely good quality and taste really nice.
Their Super Sundae is totally worth giving a shot.

The staff is super friendly and I personally liked the ambience a lot.

So the next time you're around Richmond road, I'd highly recommend you to check out this place

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. Without the usual office traffic, we found a parking spot in the premises. Otherwise, there is a parking spot (paid parking) less than 100 meters down Richmond Road. The cafe is compact and can seat about 24 pax at a time - we did not venture upstairs (which is open in the evenings and on the weekends). The place was clean. We ordered the Koubiden Quesadilla, Pulled Chicken Sandwich and Grilled Chicken Joujeh Kebab. All of these were nice and had good flavour. The pulled sandwich had a topping of omelette which was different and had good flavour.
Overall, worth the visit (we do not live close by) and the pricing was reasonable for the quality of the food that they serve.

Visited this place with my girlfriends. Nice cosy place with creative menu , fresh food and friendly staff. we started with tasty and fresh creamy mushroom soup , and had delicious pita pits (not sure about the name) with awesome hummus as starters. The main course of barbecued paneer with Spanish rice was filling and delicious. The coffee was good too, which we had in the breezy open terrace area .

I am vegetarian but there were enough good choices, and the place was not expensive and serves good portion sizes. looking forward to visiting it again with my family soooon....

Great food ! Modern cafe and we had an excellent evening with family. We tried the grills for ourselves and pizza for my daughter . The serving portions were big but were still not that heavy. Perfect place for me to have dinner specially with parking available :) .

I found this new cafe at the end of Convent Road and decided to give it a try. It's a pretty place with basic ambience, however the upstairs open area wasn't open yet. The food was freshly prepared and maybe that's why the service felt a little slow. But the taste was amazing. The onion rings were crisp and tasted amazing. The hummus was fresh and super tasty and pita was soft. The alfredo chicken pasta had a right balance of flavours and rich in flavour. What failed me was the messy burger which had vegetables in a sauce put together between buns. Very messy indeed. Would definitely go there again :)
Nitin Sheth
Had excellent meal at Cafe Morish yesterday. Amazing ambulance. Had goat cheese quesadilla and mozzarella de coroza which were both awesome for a vegetarian. Very good friendly staff and service. Overall great place to enjoy delicious food.

Ordered a falafel wrap, which was so burnt that it tasted bitter. They offered another vegetarian offering, some veggie burger, which had to be packed as I had to return to office. Once in office, when I opened the package it was badly packed burger which was dripping with sauce. The bun could not hold the entire thing and it wasn't good to taste also.
On the positive side, liked the place and drinks were nice as well. Would like them to work on the food.
Sabari Abhilash
The ceaser salad is the best and meat cravers pizza is great. Value for money with delightful taste. Tried breakfast menu but to happy with spread you get for the worth. Very friendly staff

Amazing is the word the food was so delicious..The ambience,The place ,the food it's just awesome...👍👌 Must try the Greek pizza it's heaven

The minute I saw the board up, this place for me had two reasons to celebrate 1. Close to my office 2. Lack of good restaurants around. Visited this place the first time and I said to myself, they are new let's give them another try, visited the second time liked it's even more, and the third time onwards I think the people in the kitchen switched from rusty to tasty.

This place is my go to for sandwiches, wraps and pizzas.

Some of my recommendations are -
BBQ sandwich ( my fav)
Pesto chicken sandwich
Johnson market club

Iced tea is great too.
Ben
Very good new café. Worth visiting. Unlike many other café’s, this place has excellent food. Visited Mor’ish multiple times and tried Egg Benedict, chicken sausages, Greek omelette and everything was good so far. Will try other dishes during future visits. And coffee here is best in the town!

Lovely nook with great choices on the menu, superb quality and scrumptiously delicious food😋😋 especially the eggs benedict!!

Will definitely visit again!!
Passed this place many a time and always wondered what it was all about. Anyway, finally decided that my wife and the kids would try it out for dinner. The decor is well done and has a nice classic look, comfortable and understated. They have a vast menu from which I'm sure you'd find something or the other interesting . The kids and the wife loved their pizza, I went for the burger which I found to be delicious and quiet sufficient to fill an empty stomach. They also have middle eastern type grilled meats etc which we will save for next time. The kids had a berry shake along with their pizza which they loved! Definately worth another visit to try out something different next time!

Happy to come across a new outlet within the viscinity of my office and home.

The places serves pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, grills, pastas and shakes primarily.

I ordered a burger like sandwich and it tasted great. Must add that it was very sinful with lots of sauces and mayo (calorie bomb, not for the faint hearted)

The service was quick and the bill was slightly on the higher side for me.

Sorry to say but I am very disappointed by their service. Fisrt time I was at the cafe, I had to wait for a good half an hour before I got a table which I didn't mind at all. Second time around, didn't have the time to wait so I called and blocked a table well in advance which they accepted and confirmed. On reaching the cafe, I realise that there was no table blocked. On informing them that I had blocked the table, they said they don't take advance bookings. Okay, I excused that since the wait time was only ten mts, what's worse? There were others who came in after us and they were given the table saying they had blocked it. What kind of a dumb behaviour is that? Hope the owners are aware of the reputational blunders their staff is making! I don't suggest going unless you are very patient to put up with such behaviour and attitude towards customers.

Any new restaurant that opens around where we live always excites my wife and I. Being vegetarians, we are of course hoping (quite often against odds) that the place serves more than a handful of vegetarian dishes. Cafe Mor'ish does not disappoint when it comes to being veggie friendly.

The decor of the place is bright and cheerful. They are currently only serving on the ground floor but the upper level (which seemed outdoors) is planned to be commissioned soon which should make the place busier than it already is. The lower level has around 5-7 tables and a fairly attentive staff at your service.

Among the things that we tried were Goat's cheese Quesadilla, Mini Falafel Wrap & Mor'ish Salad (Sweet potato based) to start with and for the mains, we had a Pizza and a Veg Grill. Of all the dishes, the Salad was a bit of a let down. I felt that it was too bland and that a bit more salad dressing would give the dish some flavour. Everything else was absolutely lip smacking - especially the Falafel wrap and Pizza.

For dessert we ordered an almond cake which everyone felt was too dry. Overall, I couldn't find too many faults with the place and would recommend to go here. They have parking space for at least 3-4 cars which is tough on Richmond Road.

Always exciting to see something new, open in the vicinity of where I live; considering it's predominantly a residential area. My neighborhood buddies and me, have been eyeing this cafe, ever since it opened recently and yesterday, we finally managed to coordinate a visit here.

Currently only the main ground floor is functional, but plans are to expand, it to the upper floor. Decor wise, it resembles a snug little bistro space and there are about 6-7 tables, with the glass walled kitchen to one end.

I was expecting a pretty compact menu, but was surprised to find it cover a pretty large range from breakfast specials to wraps, pizzas, sandwiches, grills, non alcoholic beverages and desserts! There are enough and more options for vegetarians (which pleased my companions no end)

We began with lemon ice teas, which were pretty potent and refreshing.

For starters, we order a goats cheese quesadilla, mini falafel wrap and a sweet potato salad.

The quesadilla were filling and yum and came with a portion of salsa and sour cream, it disappeared instantly. Likewise the falafel came nicely hot and crunchy and hit the spot. The salad was colourful and filled with crisp veggies and came with a slice of garlic bread, the sweet potato bits were scarce!, I would have preferred more of it, to register or perhaps they could have made thicker wedges?

We took a breather to catch up yapping and for mains, we got the Morish pizza and the veg grill.

We loved the pizza, cheesy to the hilt with mozzarella and embellished with mushrooms and broccoli, it was hearty and delish.

The veg grill was a pretty platter with mushroom skewers, rice, salad and cheese sauce. Again the flavors were pretty good and substantial.

Actually I have to say that thankfully, the dishes were not spicy or masala-fied, which suited me perfectly, but folks may find it bland!

We ended the meal with an Almond cake, which was perhaps the only minor misstep as the cake was a little bit dry and while the blob of fresh cream kind of helped a bit, maybe a little scoop of icecream could have been a better alternative!?

The wait staff was pretty responsive and despite a full house, the service was quick.

All in all, this is a lovely little joint and serves fab and filling meals at value for money price points. Most of the dishes were in the 150-250 range and large enough for sharing!

Decor - 7
Food - 8.5
Service - 8

Overall - 8

Welcome to the neighborhood Morish :)

High quality food. Very impressed by the amount of flavours. Humus and pita was great as a starter and their coffee was good too. Main course didn’t seem too heavy even though it was a large portion
