Review Blue Alps - Bengaluru

Serves buffet dinner from 7-10pm. Good spread of veg and non veg items. Mutton soup was flat… missing umami in the mix. Chicken briyani was really good. The other curries were decent too. Service wise, friendly but needed repeated reminders to get my glass. The only good choice when you stay at Clark Exotica.

Nice place friendly staff great spread tasty food ok desserts. Overall good vfm. The spread of their buffet has become more attractive with high quality vegetables and also desserts.

Excellent hospitality. Mr. Ramesh from the restaurant always make sure people are made comfortable. I visit here frequently with family. One of the best places.

Part of the Clark's exotica resort group, all the dining are served here in blue Alps if you're staying in the resort. Has a very ambient structure and serves a wide range of buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We came here on team day out. We had a wonderful breakfast. Very good and tasty spread of breakfast which is tasty and healthy.

Hi,<br/>We visited Clarke's Exotica on Feb 13th 2016 with a reservation of 12 members. if i get restaurant name right it is Blue alphs...neverthless it is the place for the day visit package. We were greeted well and we moved in for Breakfast. There we interacted with Mr Ramesh who handled the situation well with the the Sunday crowd. We got our seatings well set and Breakfast was  fun. Had a good interaction with this gentleman who mentioned that its a weekend and things are hectic. He mentioned we get in for an early lunch so that we are prioritised over the walkin folks who come in for lunch. So we did ...but apparently Mr Ramesh was held up in the kitchen. There was this person whom we gave our name and asked him to accomodate the seating. it was 12:30 noon. What happned next was fun. Waited for 45 mins and people coming in after us were being seated but not us. When asked, The person "Mr Naidu" became reactive and said no thats not the case. I spoke to him again and said that we had kids who need to be catered to but he was saying yes sir understood but he did not oblige that he was letting others through. As the conversation with the guest got a little hot i moved him and mentioned let work out a cancellation for me as we could not wait as the kids were hungry. for this Mr NAidu mentions. No that cannot be done. and he was rude and said "Dont touch me and Speak Sir" .... i was like PLease... the he says "dont point fingers" .... That was funny... he was instigating a situation there...... very wierd..... but there was this gentleman who had the list and I asked him to inform Mr Ramesh who came in and immediately apologised and made sure that we got the seating and also provided roti's at the table. he said that the day was busy and hasn't had his Breakfast. he put himself up for service. Definitely kudos to Mr Ramesh.  <br/>Note: Mr Naidu who seems very junior should not be exposed to Customers directly as his behaviour can ruin people experience...

Visited here on a holiday @clarks exotica. Total chaos, very average food, pathetic service. I would recommend order ur food in room. Avoid buffet.<br/>Food: 2.5/5<br/>Service: 1.5/5<br/>Ambiance: 3/5<br/>Cost for 2: 1500INR

Contrary to reviews and we read online, the food is pathetically bad. There is variety of course but nothing is tasty. I'd rather eat at a kiosk on the airport than come back here.<br/><br/>Also our check in time was 2 pm. We reached by 12. So they asked us to come back after 2 hours. When we came back at 2 they had the audacity to tell us the rooms will take half an hour to get ready! Regret pre paying for this place

What can I even say!! At a wedding reception der...d food was so great that straightaway landed in d hospital f food poisoning f 3 days..not only d money spent f d treatment but at d cost of exams...can't be a more hopeless place...it's a no no f anyone who even has a slightest idea...please guys turn back unless u want a stay at d hospital..!

Not bad. Not bad at all.<br/>I wasn't expecting the buffet spread to be this good, honestly. So this makes to be a very pleasant dining experience. <br/>Given the fact that they had a majority of veg dishes which seems like a big turn off for non vegetarians like yours trully, and their lamb dish was over cooked, the chicken main made up for it. And so did their salads. Beautiful selection of salads, btw. <br/>Quite happy with the meal. Always room for improvement, but given the spread they prepare for every service, it's a commendable effort.

Well to be frank i was really disappointed after my encounter at this so called 'Blue Alps'. Clarks Exotica tagging themselves as a five star resort and providing such worst dining experience to their customers should be a matter of worry for them. I don't know how come Zomato has rated them so high.<br/>It was very a good stay at the resort, i was out with my team. Everything looked so good about this place untill i came across their food.<br/>The price they charge you for the food and the service you get in return is not acceptable at all. Its high time that they should bring on a change.<br/>Be it lunch, dinner or breakfast, nothing was anywhere close to the mark. In lunch and dinner, they lacked varieties big time for the non vegetarians. And breakfast was very ordinary too.<br/>All i would say is that a very nice resort experience was completely turned off by the food.

When you hear of a place whr u have one of the best NYE parties, u expect it to live upto / exceed the mark but when the plc is full of stale rice, cold breads, tasteless curry and stinking curd, u realise ur new year wud be the worst ever.<br/>Dats when I happened to realise that it was Clarks Exotica.<br/>The worst place to be when you knw its nt the plc to be at all..<br/>I wish Zomato had a worse[ r ] rating...

I dont know why the overall rating for trhis place is 3.6.. which is really high as per zomato, But in one word this place is " Disappointing " , And when it claims to be a five star . <br/><br/>I decided this resort as a place to celebrate my husband's birthday and over all the resort, the people, the service , everything was nice. <br/><br/>Only thing which disappointed two big foodies was the food :(.<br/><br/>I took all meals package with my two day stay . so we had to eat at Blue Alps as we already paid for it and didnt have Any other place to go as it was supposed to be a relaxing weekeknd. <br/><br/>First day we ordered some drinks and some onion pakodas ( Because that was the only thing available at that time) in teh evening. The drinks Mojito and my LIIT was really good. I was all impressed and the Onion pakodas were just ok for which i felt there is a minimal possibility of going wrong with them.<br/><br/>The buffets , All three, Breakfast lunch and dinner were really disappointing . The menu was really tiny. Totally some ten things and some 3 4 desserts <br/>I mean they claim to be a five star for god sake, Sometimes i really felt that if i would have given a job at this restaurant full time , i would have prepared a better menu with more things. <br/><br/>I think breakfast buffet is the easiest , You can keep some twn kind of breads, two paranthas and done . But on the last day when we went for breakfast there was actually nothing for us to eat from the buffet. It was really disappointing for the amount of money they are charging .<br/><br/>They really need to change the chef or the menu. It really doesnt go with the image of a lovely resort. food takes it all away.. <br/><br/>So Over all, Please dont take the all Meals package if you are going to stay there. Try there Ala carte, I dont know if thats good because even the al carte menu prices are really high. <br/><br/>I dont recommend this Restaurant at all.

After checking out numerous resorts in and around Bangalore - I decided to stay at Clarks Exotica - to celebrate my wife's 30th. It was a weekday so didn't expect much of a crowd at the resort.<br/><br/>The place in itself is pretty nice. Large swimming pools - with 2 slides..which are quite fun. Lots of greenery. Located just before the International Airport. Indoor Badminton court - full fledged basketball court - Table Tennis room - the normal works of the resort.<br/><br/>The rooms were quite well appointed - large size - very comfortable beds - pretty good quality (definitely not 5 star though).<br/>Overall - The resort is pretty good. Ive been to better..but for the price - I found it pretty expensive. Close to 7k a night - on a weekday! Not worth it.<br/><br/>FOODWISE - I have a few complaints.<br/><br/>The variety of dishes - and the menu selection is pretty good. All the stuff sounds very high end.<br/>But the quality of food has a lot to be improved upon.<br/><br/>The lunch buffet is priced at 475 plus a lot of taxes, which I found a tad bit high. <br/>If your paying that much - the chicken items in the buffet should definitely be boneless - but everything had bones in it.<br/>We ordered A la Carte from the bar - Crackling Spinach.<br/>No crackles at all! Very soggy - and not made how its supposed to be made. They obligingly took it back and sent me another - it was a little bit better but not up to the mark.<br/>We ordered salt & pepper babycorn - was just passable.<br/>I ordered a pasta for dinner - which I quite enjoyed - wasnt on the menu.<br/><br/>I must point out - the service is really really good. The staff are extremely courteous - and even if they don't have all the knowledge of the dishes and general ammenities of the resort - but their attitude definitely makes up for it. <br/><br/>Resort Quality - 7/10<br/>Staff - 8.5/10<br/>Food quality 6/10<br/>Variety of Menu 8/10<br/>Pricing 6/10
