A great place to have typical kerala style food. A bit on the expensive side but the food is absolutely delicious... No questions asked. Have a few outdoor seating as well(with rooftop. More of a balcony kind)... Courteous staff... A must visit place of non vegetarians..

Authentic kerala cuisine is served here. If you are a vegetarian, I won't recommend this restaurant, because they mainly specialised in fish, chicken and meat. If you are from malabar, don't go for biriyani, you won't like it for sure. All other dishes that I have tried including fish, prawns, squid, chicken and beef varieties were really good.

Coastalhub Restaurant. A very good place to have lunch and dinner. The food quality is very good and very delicious. I have been here for a lunch with my few friends. The quality, taste of the food and hospitality of the people here are so good that now we make often visits to coastalhub for dinning. The seafood and Non-Veg food are very tasty here. South Indian people who are fond of spices and that too Kerala spices in food would love this place definitely.

The service is mind blowing. All the staff are very very courteous. They will ask multiple times for any items that are needed. They also replaced some grill items and made them as to order. Loved the treatment Provided by all the staff members including the chefs. Food quality was good. Can do with some new innovative ideas as the menu looks a bit dull and similar things are on repeat from a long time, but the service and the attempt they all took to satisfy us was too overwhelming.

Good Kerala restaurant available in KIADB area in whitefield. Price is reasonable and taste is good. Lunch served from this restaurant is very good. If you are going to have lunch from this restaurant make sure that you are reaching here before 1:15 PM otherwise chances of getting lunch will get reduced. Meckarail fry delivered was like fried a day before or in the morning. Appams were disaster not at all fluffy plus some yuck smell, not cooked properly...plus got a stepler pin in appam...dare I order again from this restau..

Disapponting! A very average place and didn't live up to my expectations. I ordered for Veg meals, Erachi Biriyani and "Pothi Chicken". The sambar was tasty, but was cold. Pulissery was also cold. They could have at least heated up both before serving. The aviyal and beans thoran had a dominant taste of oil. Biriyani had some flavour of ghee, but taste was missing. The Pothi chicken was average with nothing to complain about, but nothing great. This place is good for a economical meal for people who do not look for good taste.

Worst experience with coastal hub as I ordered fish gravy with meal but I didn't got fish gravy chicken peace that too only one peace which also not good very bad & not recommending

Very poor quality of food served here now. This was a good place when it was started, and now the quality of food is worst. Too much oily in all the curries. Please do not fool customer by saying the word " authentic kerala food". those who are reading this, kindly do not think that the food that you are getting in coastal hub is not authentic kerala food.

First things first, their food is very good. But sadly everything else is very poor. The place is dirty, they don't even have the courtesy to remove the empty LPG cylinders from the eating hall. The service is pathetic, they take ages to give food, regularly mess up their orders and the staff have no courtesy. I've seen so rats in the washroom many times and when I complained the manager laughed it off. Honestly, I travel 4kms multiple times a week and have food at Kidilam instead of traveling 1km to coastal hub

This has to be my go to place for a budget friendly Kerala cuisine. Most of the time I usually order from here but have also been their as well. The restaurant is a small one not much of an ambience but they definitely compensate that with their food. The taste of all the items are quite authentic and will leave you fulfilled. I have tried their chicken pothi porotta, chicken kothu porotta, chicken stew, Malabar porotta , aapam, ghee chicken roast and prawns fry. As zomato suggests I'll be polite and friendly. Please stop using excess oil in your food. The photo attached is a comparison how sick a person can become after consuming this amount of unnecessary oil

Pothichoru is exceptional. Always a 5 star. Remaining everything is like stay away from it. Kerala place. Go for kerala meals. Nothing else. You will definitely find much better places for kerala food.

I ordered 1 crab and 1 natholy fry. Crab costed 325 and natholy 145 (both prices are without taxes). I have added the images of food which is delivered (i had 2 pieces from natholy fry box before taking this image). That means all i got is 9 pieces of natholy fry for 145rs and a small crab which is sliced into two pieces for 345 rs.<br/><br/>Now regarding the taste.<br/>Absolutely ridiculous, they missed to add salt to natholy fry. Crab gravy had salt but crab was saltless. This was the worst seafood i have ever ordered.

Located on the third floor, Coastal Hub is a fine kerala restaurant. I ordered chicken mapas and apppam. It was fantastic. The place and ambience is good. They even have outdoor seating, the view from there is awesome. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Overall a good experience

Authentic Kerala food. Tastes really better. But the service is poor. The kind of service what I am expecting is before even I finish my rice, the waiter should come and ask me for more rice and other dishes. In this case, every time I had to ask him. Had dinner here yesterday (Sat) at 9.30pm and they didn’t have many menu options available.<br/>Alleppy fish curry was average. Karimeen fry was burnt and total waste. Kerala paratha was good.<br/>Restaurant looked dirty with tables not clean.<br/>I would not visit this place again.

Good Kerala food. It is now a go to place for me to order food home. The Kerala parathas here are one of the best I had in awhile in Bangalore. Have tried out the erachi dishes and the meals as well which were good.

Post reading the reviews I had a tad bit high expectations but all went in vain when the food got delivered. The beef fry was a bit hard to chew and the parotha also became hard by the time it arrived. A big let down but will try other items and see if this time it was a one off thing.

Extremely disappointed. I ordered chicken curry but instead of chicken pieces I had only bones in my gravy. When u charge so much for the dishes, please be genuine n give good food. This is very bad.. Having only gravy n no chicken

We have visited this restaurant multiple times. This is one of the best kerala restaurant in this area.<br/>Recently we had Kerala Meals and Netholi Fry. Kerala Meals is really tastly one. Netholi fish fry also good one. Menu prices are very economic. Service need bit improvement.

Prawns biryani was a kind of biryani I only found at Coastal Hub. Infact I was looking for this biryani since a long time. Making it available to us is a big thing.<br/><br/>I found the price also for this biryani to be fine and quantity was also enough for two.

Been to this restaurant for many times for weekend lunch and dinner with family. They have a wide variety of dishes, most of dishes are authentic and taste really nice. Couple of times biriyani was not upto the mark. Meals is so good and feel like home made food. I usually visit Coastal Hub For Lunch. First reason for it is that I like the food quality and secondly it meets my budget too.<br/><br/>The soup section has many varieties of soups and the one which I order the most is the vegetable manchow soup. It increases your appetite and encourages you to enjoy more food there.

Many coastal dishes were there in the menu items when I visited Coastal Hub just for casual dining. There was no such ocassion but the main thing was that I was too hungry.<br/><br/>I ordered one Rice bowl and from the chicken main course dish. Both made a good combination and the food was with less of oil and spices, a perfect one for your lunch.

Erachi Biriyani and Pothichoru are highly recommended.  Ambience is basic and simple. Service is also good. Staffs are polite and friendly. This is one of the best economical kerala restaurant in bangalore.

This is my daily lunch options near to my office. Pretty decent place for quick lunch. One of the core reason for me and friends to choose this place is their quality of lunch and reasonable price. I can say its a very pocket friendly restaurant in this area which giving quality food. Must try's are meals, erachi fry, fish pollichathu, porotta and few more.

A great place to experience authentic Kerala food.They have a nice balcony dine in area.<br/><br/>We ordered Karimeen Pollichathu, which is marinated fish wrapped in banana leaves. It was easily one of the best fish dishes I have eaten in my life. The spices used created the perfect taste and I could have easily eaten 2 servings of this dish. For main course we ordered Appam and Nadan Chicken Curry. The masala used in this curry is simply mind-blowing.<br/><br/>Their buttermilk and Lime Soda are good too.<br/>Menu prices are very much reasonable.<br/>Definitely going there for more of their Kerala delicacies.

This place named coastal hub, is really famous for their sea food. Sea food is obviously non veg so a non vegetarian person will really love this place and their food. For them its really worth visiting this place.

Went few days back with couple of frnds. We ordered fish fry, apam, veg stew, meals and biriyani. We had one vegetarian frnd in between us but he liked the veg dish a lot. Biriyani was not dum biriyani but still taste wise it’s awesome. Meals was like home cooked food. Will definitely visit the place agAin.

We have been their multiple times for authentic Kerala Food at reasonable price. This is one of the best Kerala food joint. We had their Kerala Meals, Kappa Biriyani, Kerala Porotta and many other items. Kerala Meals was very tasty.

It was more like home cooked food and is perfect for a Keralite missing home. The prawns was fresh, not what you expect in a place like Bangalore far away from the coast. Can't say the must try dishes since I have tried the food just once but would definitely recommend 'pothichoru'. Also recommend 'Erachi Roast' for those who eat beef.

The view was cool and we felt a breeze in the hot afternoon.<br/><br/>We ordered Parotta, Mutton Ghee Roast, Chicken Biriyani, Beef Biriyani, Erachi Fry and Erachi Chilli.. All the items were delicious and nicely cooked. We really liked them though it took a while due to the crowd.<br/><br/>We will return back to try more items from the menu..

Today me and wife Had lunch from this hotel. Very pathetic food... we ordered briyani and they gave me white rice mix with meat and meat gravey. That also meat taste sucks....its taste like very old meat..... to have good taste on mouth we had two banana (pay an pori) ...it taste yuk....the oil they used is very old. Friends plz avoid this hotel. Stay healthy.

Really bad food. I ordered chicken and received prawn curry which was very spicy and had a very odd color. I ordered chicken biryani and received mutton biryani which was again half-cooked and rubbery. Pothi choru was the only item delivered correctly - it had lot of red rice but no sign of any curry , lot of pickle and long beans was present, appeared like long beans pulao. Chicken fry was burnt to such an extent that I could not even bite it with my human teeth. Waste of money and time. I will never ever order from this place again.

Had ordered food from this place.. I found food quality to be pretty bad.. And this is not the first time. Thought of giving it a try once again... And I was only disappointed even more. Presentation is one thing.. But the food tasted as bad as it looked.. Both the times.. Prawns in prawn ularayathitu seemed to be stale.. And it more was like plain pan fried prawns rather than prawns ularayathitu. Food was not hot either. And the price you pay for the quantity and quality is no less than a fancy restaurant.. Would nt recommend at all..

I ordered a Pothi Choru and beef fry. I must say, it was real nostalgic eating the Pothi choru out of the packing and the banana leaf. The chammandi and all the accompaniments were great. All it lacked was a motta porichatu or omlette and this was what we used to take to school when I was little. The beef fry was also good, but I guess a lit bit of too much coriander powder. Overall it was good.

I  use to order food from here usually. Now their service getting bad. Today I order Mushoorm gravy, the quantity was really low. It is almost less than the half quantity than usually I use to get.

6 of us went there and ordered White Pomfret Fry, Black Pomfret Pollichathu, Squid Masala, Seer Fish Fry and meals. Instead of White pomfret, Black pomfret was served,  the fish was so bad that we could not eat it. Same was with black pomfret pollichathu. Even though it was called seer fish, some other fish was served and from the look itself it does not have any resemblance to seer fish. Service was so pathetic that we had to wait for longer time to get extra rice or sambar.

Ordered for lunch - seer fish pollichathu (good) & Alleppey Fish Curry (nice). Delivery happened in time, will try more dishes. Price needs to be relooked.

Ordered online for seer fish curry and got half the amount i used to get with just one small piece of fish. 9 piece of netholi fry for 125₹, unbelievable price. <br/>Not going to order anything from here now. Too expensive, not too great taste and small on the portion size

Great place for meals, the entire meal took me back to kerala , on the sides we ordered fish fry which was ok but overall its a awesome place have kerala food , payasam and the sambar were the stars apart from aviyal and other items !

I had set high expectations with 'Erachi Biryani' as it's one of their bestsellers and recommended items also. I had it delivered at my home by Zomato.<br/><br/>The meat was pretty good and on the tender side but the rice and the spice content in it was very mediocre. I could obviously smell the aroma of Ghee applied but the rice quality (small and thick in size) was so mediocre and so was the test though I'm not saying it tasted the worst or even bad but yeah it was not as it should have been. What I felt is like they prepared it on an Adhoc basis after getting notified of my order. So neither I'm going to recommend this particular dish to anyone nor I'm going to repeat.<br/><br/>@Costal Hub, it's not called Biryani at all, the food you served was simple Erachi Ghee laden Rice. Please improve your quality!

Tried this restaurant in a few weeks after it was opened and was quite impressed with the quality & taste of the food and the service. But with my recent experience, it looks like the quality is going down and is no more my favorite place when i crave for Kerala food. Hope they go back to the standards they set earlier themselves !!

Vey bad chicken biriyani. Just kept the name Thalashery Chicken Biriyani for advertising only. Nothing like it. Had it 2 times from here and both the times the rice was undercooked. For this order they didn't keep the Raita and pickle also.

So, it was independence day and our cook didn't turn up , he also had his share of public holiday 😋.<br/>The weather forecast was rainy ,so didn't plan to go out for dinner, thought of having biryani which would be light and not high on spices.<br/>So decided to have Malabar biryani and when checked on Zomato, found this place.<br/>It had a decent rating and the price was also reasonable , I only ordered chicken dum biryani which is Malabar chicken biryani.<br/>Their packing was good, I had ordered Malabar style chicken biryani from Thalassery and imperial as well but there, the packing was not that solid.<br/>Tastewise they are generous on chicken pieces that they provide in the biryani😋 ,there were 3 in total.<br/>The rice was okayish , could have been a bit more flavourful.<br/>Overall happy with the order😀<br/>

The food quantity is very less and not worth in money.<br/>The food reached on time but please consider the food quantity which you are packing.

no salad or pickle provided... no masala in briyani it was very dry compared to other thalashery briyani outlets.. Kerala style chicken gravy was ok, but he chicken in there looks over cooked or heated for many times... overall not so good experience with Coastal hub... last time had podichooru from them it was yum hence tried a diff order but disappointed

Good place for lunch. Authentic  Kerala dishes was available I would suggest meals and fish fry. They have a variety of fishes.   . The place is with great ambiance You will love this place with environment because of the balcony seating.  Good value for money.

Tried them through uber eats.<br/>The erachi roast for the price being charged the quantity was very less and also was disappointed with the quality. The meat was very hard and rubbery and was.definetely old.<br/>The tomato roast though oily it was decent

The quality of Thallaserry biriyani has degraded a lot from the first time we had tasted it about 5 months back. It definitely did not feel authentic either.<br/>

Thalassery biriyani was horrible. It was definitely not authentic Thalaserry biriyani. The quality has degraded from when we first tried it about 5 months back.
