Review Sweet Chariot - Bengaluru

Visited the outlet after a long time. They are the oldest and the best cake shops in Bengaluru. The only place you get good Chicken Samosa. As usual the Chocolate cakes are superb. Visit the branch near you. You also have superb Birthday Cakes here.

Always had good experience with Sweet Chariot cakes. Had purchased a nice Chocolate Truffle cake. Tasted very good. Due to the limited choices in this shop, rating it 4/5

One of the finest places for pastries for long time. Centralised bakery outlets. Good choise for birthday cakes, christmas cakes.etcc and other pastries and snacks.. One of the best choise for rich plum cake in the city.. rightly moist plum cake. They have standard, butter rich and eggless plum cakes.. My choise is always Regular plum cakes.

Courteous staff. They get fresh inventory everyday between 11 am and noon. The place doesn’t have an option to sit and dine inside. Credit cards and cash accepted

Got our kids birthday cake made here. We sent them a picture of what we want with the changes we needed. The final cake was really good with a clean, perfect design. Much above our expectations. Tasted good too :)

I have loved sweet chariot cakes from past 14 years.. Have been to various branches of theirs.. You should pre order before the occassion. Those cakes are better than the ready to take ones... Ready ones are fresh but are have more cream than i prefer.. Love their fruit gateau cake, pineapple, chocolate mouse, black forest and also their chicken quiche.. the whole 1 kg one, not the small tarts... Bigger one is way better than small tarts... Only wished they had home delivery service..

Taste and quality is outstanding but, quite expensive. Their coffee cake tastes amazing if you like coffee(flavour). Definitely a must try one.

It's a small hamlet where you will get gift items, home decor idols. Idols for Pooja room, different collections of paintings etc.

Excellent cakes for different occasions can be bought here. It's better to place an order at least 4-5 days before the occasion.

A very average shop offering cakes and pastries with a good range but sadly not same can be said about the quality. There was better expectation out of the outlet but sadly not only the place is overly priced but also does not live up to the mark. I ordered the red velvet pastry which was too small in size and also was a bit harder than expected. The cream was made perfect but sadly the base was not complimenting it. The service is prompt but the neatness of the place isn't as expected upto standards of a sweet chariot outlet. <br/>Food:2.5/5<br/>Cost:2.5/5<br/>Ambience:2/5<br/>Service:3.5/5

Quality is not as expected and I don't think they serve us the fresh baked ones.. I purchased Red velvet cake which was hard and also the birthday message font on the cake was not good.. overall customer satisfaction is average

From out side the cake looks so nice and attractive but the taste and quality is bit poor, for the same price you can provide a better quality cake why because in a birthday party at least 10 people will gather and they will talk about the cake.. and it's bad for you..

Long back , once I have been here along with my cousin , got a chocolate cake .. Cake was just average .. It was OK for us as it was not for any function .. Ambience nd service is average in the shop ..

Abysmal!<br/>I was craving a pastry which is why I went to the nearest Sweet Chariot.<br/><br/>Not only were their pastries hard, they could knock someone out if thrown on their head. The worst part was that THE PASTRIES WERE STALE! YES STALE!!!<br/><br/>It was the worst experience I ever had with packing pastries. Yuck! I hope this place closes down on account of health code violations.<br/><br/>Is there a negative scale yet Zomato?

Had ordered a Winnie the Pooh chocolate cake for my nephew's birthday and thankfully , the cake lived up to its expectations. The cake was fresh out of the oven and soft. The layers had been filled properly with chocolate . The icing was delicious And the cake was very nicely made. <br/>But on another occasion , I had tried a chocolate pastry from the same outlet and it turned out to be stale. A total waste of money.

One of the poorest stocked outlets of its kind, I have been to this place several times in the last 3-4 years. Weekend or weekday, morning or evening, the food racks are half-empty. And no, it's not because of the demand; I never see a crowd there. The place reeks of disinterest, and that is my biggest problem with it. I may have been more forgiving had this place been called 'Unknown Entity & Sons', but when you lure people with the name 'Sweet Chariot', you should realise there is an expectation to live up to. I have a feeling that the 'Sweet Chariot' main office has no idea of the existence of this franchise, otherwise there is no way they could have been okay with the way it is run!<br/><br/>Very small seating area with just two tables and four chairs. Very messy and cluttered ambiance - almost makes you think the people there don't really care (about themselves, or about you). In a fancy bakery, the lighting accentuates the appeal of the pastries and other items; not here. Namecards for the food? Of course not!<br/><br/>On a lucky day, there may be Chicken Samosa (Rs.18) which is the only decent thing I've ever eaten here; surprisingly, lots of chicken filling. The Pizza Roll (Rs.17) is a cruel joke wrapped in bread. Have bought some Cheese Garlic Bread (Rs.47) which isn't much to talk about. There is this sweet pastry called Japanese Roll (or Cake, can't remember) which can easily be given a miss. The cakes are decent.<br/><br/>They only accept cash (never card), which I'm very surprised by, in 2014. Their primary source of business seems to be birthday cakes and party items - they must have a steady stream of income here, because otherwise, I can't imagine how they continue to be in business, considering much worthier eateries shut shop in this area.
