Surya Refreshments is located in Sampige Road, Malleshwaram 11th cross and it is opposite to Jirage building, next to Mumbai Bistro, Nearby to Canara Bank. It is more crowded in weekends since most of the breakfast & Coffee Lovers can be seen in this restaurant & I am seeing this restaurant from 2 decades.
Best place to hang out with Colleagues & friends and it is having only outdoor standing arrangement facility on the footpath. There is no dedicated parking arrangements available in the restaurant. It is a self service restaurant.
Surya Refreshments have options of breakfast items like Idli + Vada, Dosa, Karabath, Beveragess, Kesaribath, Avalakki bath and Shavigee bath and I have tried Idli + Vada combination with Chutney , Khara Bath and can suggest to try Idli + Vada combination, Avalakki bath and Price is reasonable at this outlet and it is easy for quick bites in the mornings.

I loved the food provided in this hotel very affordable and very tasty... Finding the parking place was a challenge here and the hotel is crowded due to the tasty food available here. Best place to have good and affordable food in Malleswaram... Try it out on a weekday so the hotel is a bit free and u can enjoy the food more peacefully

Best food ever very clean
Another gem in Malleswaram, which grew up from a hole in the wall to the current form.
Good South Indian breakfast is their calling card. Not just idlis and vada (a common theme in Malleswaram) but dosas too. Unlike Veena and Raghavendra stores, you will not feel rushed.
Idlis are soft and sumptuous. Vadas a tad crispy. So is the kesari bath and shavige bath. My favorite location for the avalakki.
If Google location could be challenging, so if you are coming on Sampige road it is the right turn at Reliance trends store.
Again a amazing place to try south Indian food in Malleswaram! Their idlies are so so mouth wateringly delicious!! Loved it. The location is little difficult to find but when we have google maps why worry!
Among the best chutneys in town and if you like your Vadas crisp then do have them there. They do make a nice avlakki bath as well. Dosas are available only in the evenings and on Sunday for breakfast. Overall a nice no frills place living up to the standards that malleshwaram has set over time
One of the best places in Malleswaram for a quick snack. Start off with a plate of idly vada & if you have a good appetite go for chow-chow bath next. I rate this much higher than veena stores as the rates are pretty reasonable and the quality is not compromised. The chutney they provide over the idly is their USP. Tastes like heaven😍
Excellent Idlis and Vadas! Chutney is equally good and compliments the Idlis very well. Good place to have a quick breakfast. The next best Idlis to veena stores in Malleswaram.
This tiny self service eatery is located on the 11th cross. The idli, vada and chutney combination is really the best that i have had in Malleshwaram.
I rate this place higher than the more fancied places like Veena stores and Raghavendra stores in Malleshwaram. Ofcourse, rates are much lower.
Supposedly the Vada is best here. I found it crisp, fresh with tasty chutney. But I am not capable of rating it against other Vadas from the very many traditional eateries in Malleswaram. Stand and eat only place but they do have tables for standing and eating unlike Veena Stores where you have to stand on roadside and eat.
Vintage darshini. Good idli vadE, dippu, shavige bath. Their kesaribath is fantastic. Perfect amount of sweetness for me, with chunks of pineapple. Their kharabath is ultimate as well. Their chutney is fresh and delicious. Kaapi is on the weaker side. Very cost effective place, with excellent thindi :) lo title hard to locate as there is no English nameboard.

One underrated place of iconic malleswara!! Idli, vade, chutney, sambar, dose, khara baath, jamoon, coffee all are super good and this place is close to me personally!! So do try.
Just amazing and authentic idli, vada, khara bath, kesari bath, rice bath, masala dosa and everything they prepare and serve... The chutney is the main attraction and one will just love it (you can actually eat just that :P).. This hotel in Malleshwaram is probably 3 decades old and I've been coming here since 15 years. If you are in/around Malleshwaram and fond of idli/chutney and quick bite, then visit this place.
I used to go and eat here when i was in school, probably 15-20 years ago. I visited a couple days ago and has the same taste. Vada and idly is my favorite. They have managed to keep the same taste for chutney for over two decades. Simply awesome.
Very nice place for tasty food. We liked too much. Cost is very reasonable
Hidden gem for serving some tasty idli's in Malleswaram for over 2 decades or more. Has been kept away from the hype still... kharabath , avalakki, and a lot of options for vegetarian food in Malleswaram
