Today went for Buffet- Lunch here and it was a good experience in terms of variety of options available. . Starters : Crispy corn 🌽 Chilli Paneer, Crispy Potato, Veg Kurkure, Fish, Prawns ans a few more .. . . Main course : North Indian cuisine , noodles 🍜 , dumplings 🥟 . . Desserts : Gulab Jamun, Kheer & Halwa . . They also offer free welcome drinks! Serve alcohol as well ( not included in the buffet price) . . Price: Veg 599/- and Non-Veg 699/- on weekends !! . . Heyya what's poppin people? Guess who's back with yet another review! Today we stopped over at ' The Buffet table' which is a buffet restaurant as the name suggests, suitable for a family crowd or a big group of people. The starters were served on table and were pretty good, the main course was decent enough just like any other buffet, gulab jamun and Icecream to end the meal was a happy ending feel. The Ambience was decent as well, courteous staff helping you with dishes. Overall, a good family place for unlimited food.

This is a new buffet place that has opened right below Shift in HSR. The place is quite decent and simple in terms of ambience and they have basically concentrated on the food here. It's just located over 1 floor, which is on the 2nd floor of the building. The staff is quite courteous and service slightly on the slower side, probably because they're still figuring out stuff. They offer 4 vegetarian and 4 non-vegetarian starters at quite a nominal price. The main course is laid out on the counter itself, along with a veg and non-vegetarian soup and desserts. They had a nice amount of dishes in the main course, with a nice mix of Continental, Indian and Asian cuisines. For desserts, there were 3 dishes plus a fruit platter containing assorted fruits. I quite liked all the desserts, however I concentrated on fruits as I wanted to control my sugar intake :p Overall, the place is quite decent, and a nice option if you want a no fuss buffet. It's quite a quick fix for your daily lunch needs especially if you're working around that area.

The place has variety of food to fulfill one's self. The veg and non veg had many options starting from welcome drink, soup to the dessert like halwa, gulab jamun etc. The starter was served on table. Must visit place for affordable buffet.

I visited this place last Friday for lunch with my hubby. It shares the same building as of House of commons and Shift. There is no dedicated parking lot but one can manage parking on the road. Weekends parking can be a pain! The decor of this place is neat but not very sophisticated. The seating area is not very huge but can easily accommodate 50-60 people. The buffet arrangement lies on one side and the rest of the space is used for seating. Seeing the menu, I could gauge that its going to be a very long buffet. There were 2 soups, 4 salads, 5 veg starters, 4 non veg starters, 3 main course veg, 3 main course non-vegetarian , 4 kinds of rice items, 2 breads and 4 desserts! All items were very carefully chosen giving variety of options. In non veg, they have nicely shuffled fish, chicken, mutton and prawn dishes. In short a beautifully crafted menu! All starters were served on the table piping hot. The methi murg and Brinjal chips were the best of the lot. Followed by spicy black bean prawns and tandoori pineapple chat. Soups were around average. Infact the tomato soup could have been better. In main course mutton kolhapuri was awesome, paired with some chicken biryani. The paneer butter masaala as well as daal pancharangi were also superb and webt well with tandoori roti. After such a humongous meal there was little room left for desserts. However I couldn't resist a bowl of beetroot halwa and fruit custard. Food was commendable and service was good. And the best part is the pricing. There have a flat tariff of Rs 499 -veg and Rs 599 -Non Beg for lunch/dinner at weekdays or even weekends. Isnt that a steal deal? Would love to visit again:)

I had been to buffet table on a weekday for dinner. It is a restaurant which is sandwiched between two restaurants in the same building. I liked their food and service which was very good. 🍍🍅🍆🌶️🥒🥦🍄🍖🍗🥩🥓🥘🍲🥗🍚🍛🍤🍧🍨🍵🍹 🇦The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good, it is neat and tidy. The lightings are pretty good and suitable for a buffet restaurant. It can host around 80-90 people and the seatings are pretty good as well. 🇸The service at the restaurant is great,they are very courteous and crew members are friendly and always ready at your service. 🇫🍽️What I ate ⁉️ 🍵Tom yam goong soup ➡️ It was a Thai based soup,which was prepared well, it had chicken and vegetables in them and tasted good. 🍡 Tandoori paneer tikka ➡️ I loved the presentation part of the paneer tikka, they tasted well along with mint chutney that was provided along with it. 🍣Veg momos ➡️ They had provided the steam momos which had well cooked dumplings inside them. 🍤Singapuri prawns ➡️ The Singapuri prawns were hot, spicy and juicy. The amount of ginger, garlic and chilli was perfect. They were one of the best seafood starters at the restaurant. 🐟Hariyali fish tikka ➡️ The marinade of fish was perfect with herbs and spices. They were grilled to perfection. They were soft and tasted good. 🍗Narangi chicken tikka ➡️ The Narangi chicken was a good mixture of onions, ginger and great Indian spices such as the pepper, chilli and turmeric powder. They looked and tasted good. 🍖Hong Kong chicken ➡️ It was the boneless chicken which was covered well with the spring onions and spices. They were spicy, courtesy chilli powder. The sauce blend in them was truly mouth watering. 🍮Gulab jamun ➡️ It was the conventional Gulab jamun with the sugary water. It was soft. 🥕Gajar Ka halwa ➡️ I loved the gajar Ka halwa. It is a traditional slow cooked recipe with ingredients such as the carrot and milk products such as the milk, ghee with some dry fruits. I simply loved it. They were soft and silky. 🥠Malpua ➡️ These are the Indian version of pancakes which was fried well with ghee and dunked in sugar syrup. The Malpua was pretty good. 🍖Mutton do pyaza ➡️ This was one of the best curries which accompanied the naan well, the mutton chops were very soft and the gravy tasted good. So good that my cousin who doesn't like mutton also started eating it. 🍲Paneer kurchan ➡️ The paneer was again very soft and tasted good. It was one of the best curries available in vegetarian session. All in all buffet table is a nice restaurant which has great offers for group dining. They have a combination of Indian and Thai cuisine. Their buffet may not have many varieties but the ones which were served tasted great. Their mockails are good too. Located below The Shift HSR, this restaurant is a decent place for get togethers and conducting corporate lunch/ Dinner. We recently came here for dinner with our friends. Though this was on a weekday, restaurant was crowded when we entered, but luckily got a seat. Ambience was good with dim lightings and nice music. This place serves alcohol and draught towers can be seen on most of the tables. We started with mock tails in which our favorite was Kiwi Mojito also do try out their fruit punch & Strawberry mojito. Not all starters were good, however my recommendation would be for Tortilla Fried Onion Rings, Soye Honey Wings, Ajwaini Fish Tikka and Murgh Hariyali. In Main course, ill recommend Rajma Rasila, Mutton Risla and Tomato Fish curry. In Desserts, try out their fruit custard and Gajar ka halwa. Service was a bit slow, may be because of sudden rush and unexpected arrival of customers. We has to remind service staff to get us tissues and water bottle for almost 3 times, which they later apologized. Overall Buffet table is worth a visit for one time.

The buffet table is located right below shift and i must say i had a very pleasant experience over there. Minimalistic ambience , soothing music and i loved there furniture its pretty unique. It has got very nice ventilation and one of the nice places to witi your family , friends and colleagues. AMBIENCE - 5/5 Service was very quick , friendly staff they have a very good knowledge of their menu , dont forget to ask them for their signature dishes . 5/5 Coming to food i loved it .... It requires little changes to some of the dishes , ignoring that everything tasted pretty good . presentation is perfect ... The Buffet Table is newly opened Buffet restaurant in the heart of HSR Layout, It's in the same building of Shift and House of Commons. It's has very apt classic wooden interior with lots of open space to move around. It offers very good economic veg and nonveg buffet option in HSR layout, they don't have any differential pricing for lunch/ dinner or price varies depending on day. They have kept it very simple, anyday, anytime Veg is INR 499 and nonveg is INR 599. What all includes in Buffet: 1 veg and 1 nonveg soup 4 veg and 2 nonveg salad 4 veg and 4 nonveg salad 4 veg and 3 nonveg main course 4 rice items 3 dessert, ice cream and fresh cut fruit's. Buffet was really tasty, everything was cooked perfectly, Pan fry chicken, Continas Chicken and Chilli Chicken wings were really tasty in starters, only suggestion would be to use boneless chicken, It would be better and starters should be repeated again. Chicken Tikka Salad and Chinese Chicken Salad was well prepared. In Nonveg Main course Compay Chicken Gravy and Grilled Chicken Steak gravy was very tasty with Schezewan noodles and rice, Chicken biryani was also good, really enjoyed the main course. In Dessert we had beet root Halwa, Sesmi ball, gulaab Jamoon with vanilla ice cream and fresh cut fruit's. Overall it was a very good Sunday brunch would love to come back again.

This new buffet place has came up in the local. i liked the hospitality and food. the buffet is not over priced. the place has a good sitting capacity of 50+ people. i liked the food the staters were good we tasted like six veg nonveg starters. All tasted good and they have a love counter for pasta. the main course was also good. the food won't disappoint you. and the staff is very overwhelming you ll love the place. recommended for a budget buffet with good food.

Located at a prime location in HSR Layout and right above House of Commons, The Buffet Table is one of the ideal buffet places which offers a wide range of dishes right from the appetizers to desserts. The place is quite spacious with a comfortable seating arrangement. We were a group of 8 to 10 people visiting this place for a Sunday brunch. We started with their delicious appetizers which included Stir Fried Beans, Sesame Gobhi, Paneer Tikka, and Kurkure Paneer out of which I loved Sesame Gobhi and Kurkure Paneer. Both of these starters were crispy and tasted delicious. While I enjoyed garlicky flavored Stir Fried Beans too but it was little less steamed as per my taste. From the main course, we started with 3 Pepper Salad and Cucumber Yogurt Salad both of which were creamy and yummy. Moving on to main dishes, we had Dal Makhani, Aloo Bhindi Dry, Mutter Paneer with Butter Naan and Chicken Biryani. Their live counter also serves scrumptious white and red pasta with lots of vegetables mixed in the sauce. You shouldn’t miss out their unique yet delectable desserts - Sesame Balls and Beetroot Halwa. I usually avoid dishes made out of beetroot and was quite apprehensive of this dessert but it was amazing with the right amount of sugar. Sesame balls with liquid chocolate filling were equally delicious. Vanilla ice-cream, Gulab Jamun, and fruits were also there in desserts. Overall, it was a wonderful Sunday brunch with some scrumptious food, prompt service, and beautiful ambiance.

Being Vegetarians we were happy to find good veg options on the buffet menu. What we had- Starters Thai Cauliflower (10/10) Paneer Tikka (9/10) Chilli Potato Wedges (20/10😉) Sweet Chilli Veggie Sticks (9/10) Main Course Paneer Lababdar (9/10) Veg Jalfrezi (10/10) Dal Palak(9/10) Desserts Gulab Jamoon (10/10) Vanilla Ice cream Shahi Tukda (5/10) Rice Kheer (9/10) Mocktails(not a part of the buffet) Cosmo (10/10) LIT (10/10) They also had Noodles and Rice on the Menu, but we were too full to try it. Also a variety of Salad The place is done up simple, no fancy ambience. Service was good. Staff was attentive. For 549/- it was a total value for money meal. Highly Recommended 👍

The Buffet Table : One of the most recommended places for budget buffet in HSR Went with office colleagues for a office treat & i must say it is pretty crowded. Advance table booking would help. Located above Shift, they have a pretty decent menu that fits the price point Drinks need special mention :) fruit based mocktails cant be missed.. my favourite include kiwi & acharoska. Enjoyed the starters that are served to table among which haryali murgh & soy honey chicken are the best. Cripsy onion rings are made with rava batter which is quite interesting In the mains, i loved the aloo capsicum dry & fish curry..Do try their nooodles :) Desserts are limited but they were decent. Wish the staff can be trained much better to cater when it gets crowded..definetly room for improvement

We visited 'The Buffet Table' for lunch last weekend, after recommendation from a friend who stays in HSR.  We were very excited to visit the place, esp. after hearing word-of-mouth feedback from him and also going through some very good reviews about it online. 'The Buffet Table' is located at the heart of HSR layout, just a few feet away from BDA Complex & famous outlet of Mc Donalds at the BDA signal. We reached 'The Buffet Table' at around 1 o'clock and we were amazingly surprised to see the place already guzzling with people. This is a very kid-friendly place and we could see a lot of families spending their quality afternoon time with their near-and-dear ones. The buffet menu looked very exhaustive with a lot of options from appetizers, snacks, main-course and desserts. We started with a helping of Tomato Soup which was delicious and appetizing. This was followed by a relay of yummy veg starters - Paneer Tikka, Kurkure Paneer, Stir Fry Beans and Honey Chilly Cauliflower garnished with sesame seeds. All the starters were prepared fresh and were cooked to perfection, flavorsome and delicious. We were almost full by the time we finished the course of starters, and decided to have a little portion of main-course, which consisted of a variety of salads (like green salad, three pepper salad, cut fruit salad & cucumber yogurt salad) and a lot of options in main-course like Thai Veg Curry, Mattar Paneer, Dal Makhni, Aaloo Bhindi Dry, Schezwan Noodles, Curd Rice with a wide choice of breads, all the dishes were delectable. It was soon time to hit the desserts,  which again had an elaborate menu to choice from like Gulab Jamun, Beetroot Halwa, Ice Cream, Fresh Fruits and Sesame Chocolate Balls. Desserts were awesome as well, and it was the first time that I ever tasted 'Beetroot Halwa' which was a pleasant surprise - naturally sweetened and healthy. Gulab Jamun were delicious as well ! We loved our visit to 'The Buffet Table' and would highly recommend a visit to the place for one of the best and reasonable buffets in Bangalore.

Tasty buffet with lots of starters and very yummy main course and desert. Just one suggestion to restaurant to change your welcome drink, overall rating I will give is 4.5 and also I want to say you have well behaved staff. Keep it up. Drinks cost is a bit high, try to reduce to attract more customers. The restaurant theme is OK Ok.

Had been to this place on an evening for casual dining experience. Classy place with dim lights and light music. Friendly staff. Quick service. Tasty starters. Fish starter was my favorite. Enough of options for salads. Biryani, roti, currys are good. In love with their jamoon and fruit custard. Overall it was a nice experience.

Buffets on weekends are always exciting. Had heard a lot about this being the best buffet in HSR and thus, wanted to visit it. Decided to visit The Buffet Table over the weekend with a bunch of friends. We were all famished and were elated when the place got opened for the day. Starting off with appetizers, we tried Paneer Tikka, Kurkure Paneer, Stir Fried Beans and Sesame Gobhi. While all of those were great, enjoyed Kurkure Paneer the most among the wide range of appetizers. The soft paneer stuffing and the crispy coating on the outside made the appetizer delicious. The Stir-Fried Beans could have been cooked (steamed) slightly more but I must point out that the garlicky flavor was an add-on to it. The evergreen Sesame Gobhi was also delightful – the generous sprinkling of sesame seeds on the crunchy cauliflower florets were delectable. Among salads, I liked the Cucumber Yogurt Salad the most which had a delightful dressing while the cucumber rings were fresh. Coming to the main course, I thoroughly enjoyed Mutter Paneer, Dal Makhani and Aloo Bhindi Dry both with Butter Naan and Steamed Rice. There was also a live counter serving pastas. The pasta in white sauce and red sauce with juicy bell peppers was a great treat! Their dessert section had a couple of unique items which I haven’t come across at any other buffet places that I have been so far. Sesame balls were remarkable and had a gooey chocolaty filling inside. The Beetroot Halwa was also equally yummy. Apart from these, there were fruits, ice cream and Gulab Jamun. To sum it up, it was a lovely Sunday brunch with lovely ambiance and great service!

This weekend, got the chance to visit this newly opened buffet place in HSR , Sesmi Gobi, stir fried beans , beet root halwa ,sesmi balls were the highlights !! Although the menu list is crisp and small, yet almost all the food items tastes great. The place gets really crowded by noon , quality food and good hospitality - overall had a nice experience.

The Buffet Table has a good ambience and pleasent atmosphere. Some good music to keep your mood right. Well behaved and helpful staf always there to help you on what you need. For the day they didn't put the buffet spread so they have served everything on our table. <br/>Tried- <br/>Welcome drink was good. Made with cream and a bit of coconut base. <br/>Dal Ka Shorba - trying it for the first time and yes to give it a try. Well indian spiced.<br/>Tikka Lal Paneer- just the way paneer tikka in its way. Little high spiced.<br/>Subzi Sheek Kabab- tandoori sheek kabab served in a different way with ice cream sticks. Minced vegies rolled over a stick and nicely grilled. Served with mint chutney. <br/>Chat pata aloo - can be a little better. Served along with the potatoes skin. Taste good only from out side. May be they can make it better or serve a different dish.<br/>Hara pool ka gobi - must try along with mint chutney. <br/>Chat pata piajh - onion rings served along with peri peri mayo. As the name says chat pata they can make it a little more chat pata which we felt was less.<br/><br/>Main course<br/><br/>Tadke wali dal with garlic butter naan.<br/>Chole Bhatora- both the gravy were too good and tasty. Served hot and fresh. Crispy butter garlic naans went perfectly with the dal. Iced Milkshake.Good to taste.<br/><br/>Wild Berry( 4/5): <br/>Made of Kala Jamun crush, Pomegranates juice and Lemon juice ; this drink has that sweet sour taste. The mutton had the flavours infused in it and tasted really well.<br/><br/><br/>Hyderabadi Murgh Dum Biryani (4/5)<br/>Traditional Dum biryani with lot of fragnant and tenderised meat. Served with Raita. Really goes well for the meal.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Any meal is incomplete without a dessert, finally had<br/><br/> Coconut Gulab Jamun (4/5) <br/>A different variety of gulab jamun with garnishing of coconut powder.

Being our first table in Bangalore, I was a little skeptic to go first.....but I’m happy I went.<br/><br/><br/>Being a bufet restaurant, you have a loads of items to try.......<br/><br/>In starters, we had:<br/>Kali Mirchi Ka Macchi: Fish sauted in black pepper,..served crispy.....was the best dish I had. <br/>Country Kebab: A dish that will not only fulfill our hunger for cicken, but also make you feel at home.<br/>Lal Murgh Kebab: Chicken marinated in red chilli powder, and with indian spices. <br/><br/>In mains, we had:<br/>Mutton Rogan Ghosh: A curry based dish, with 4-5 pieces of well cooked mutton, Using Indain spices, was the best Mutton Dish I ever had. Tender, juicy and full of lavors.....I would recmmend to have this dish.....<br/>Hyderabadi Murgh Dum Biryani: Wherever you go, you get a different version of Biryani...but this was one of the mindblowing Biryani I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked rice, with full of flavours, Huge pieces of well cooked chicken...served with raita and the Masala to add taste to the dish... A great dish, and a must have when you visit this place....<br/><br/><br/>In Mocktails, we had:<br/>Shifted Iced Chocolate: If you are a sweet tooth, and a fan of milk chocolate this rink is for you. Recommended Mocktail<br/>Wild Berry: A mix of citrus juices, with kaala jamun extract and pomegrenates pieces, this was the cherry on the top for the evening...<br/><br/><br/>In desserts, we had: Coconut Gulab Jamun, a tropical twist to the classical gulab amun, well prepared and complemented with cocnut powder.

Hardly any reason why one should not go. Great food at cheap prices. Very friendly staff. Especially, the starters are thr best. Better than BBQ nation

Quality of food is poor and service is very bad.

It's a place with very limited seating capacity serving buffet. Though the food tasted good but the service was a big turn off. There was no way by which the person serving the dishes could know that we had opted for veg or non veg. Every time we had to tell them to bring veg starters only. Starters were served on table and nobody came to ask for a repeat. Though the spread was ok in that price point but they really need to improvise on services.

Looking at the past reviews, i had my apprehension. But it was last minute and nearest to us. And boy was i surprised!!!! Tried only few dishes, totally taken aback on the quality of food. One of the best mutton curry i had in a long time.<br/>Wifey's veg option was out the world. I am pleasantly surprised to taste the quality. Kudos to the chef.

It’s too much bad service and we have to wait minimum 20 mins for food and even for checks as well.. staffs behaving arrogant to provide better places for kids.. not worth for prices..

We went to this restaurant over a lunch party by one of my teamate and even though  the spread is not much but all the food served was either okay or good. For the price tag in which they are providing the buffet with good food is quite impressive.<br/>Have a good range of salads and even had one live pani puri counter.<br/>Mostly all the starters and main course dishes were good with only 3 sweet dishes.<br/>In both veg and non veg there were 2-3 dishes, accompanied by indian bread and rice...<br/><br/>Recommended...specially for team lunches...

Perfect place to organise small lunch/dinner party. The manager was supportive from day 1. All our suggestions, including special requests, were included in the final meal. I was impressed with the long buffet at The Buffet Table. Ideal place to have a quick lunch when good food is the only criteria to chooose the place. Ambiance is nice and cozy with the average decor. They have a standard north indian menu which is a happy four course meal. The best part is this place is quite pocket friendly.

Busy building full of pubs and this one is part of the shift pub. Good variety though not the best variety, tasted good though not fully fresh. Got an offer on the buffet so visited and stomach was happy since had with a few beers. Started with a corn and chicken soup, 4 variety of veg and non veg starters(1 seafood) , salad variety was good too, main course was good too (1 seafood) biryani, roti items and finally satisfied with my favorite karrot halwa along with ice cream!

Visited the place today after looking at the great reviews on Zomato, Dineout and Google. The reviews rated the place from very good to extremely poor. I took a chance and decided to visit the place.<br/><br/>The place was near empty when we reached at around 1 pm. This was kind of weird given the locality. <br/><br/>The soup tasted like sambar for god sakes! There couldn’t be a worse start. <br/><br/>There were 4 starters and none of them failed to make the cut. The service was not that great either as we had remind the staff twice or trice for a repeat order.<br/><br/>The kimchi salad was not good as the sauce had not soaked in properly. I did not try the other salads.<br/><br/>The main course was non existent and they had kept the breads in the open which was not a pretty sight.<br/><br/>The desserts were horrible to say the least. The shahi tukda was extremely dry, the rice kheer had no sugar. The carrot halwa was too runny. <br/><br/>All in all a very poor experience!<br/>

I don't know how good it is in the night but in the day, it is simply horrible. Dirty windows, molten ice cream , minimal vegetarian options, dirty chairs and tables , forgetful waiters. The drinks and the starters were good though. Pretty dull a place. I disliked the idea of only buffet. What if someone is a light eater and doesn't want to pay for a whole buffet?

The place is so bad having just 3 waiters for seating of around 40 people. The waiters start ignoring you after serving one round of starters. You just keep asking and they are like coming sir and they go away. The food is not even served hot. In my opinion if you want to spent 400+ on buffet go somewhere else or add 200 more and go barbeque nation. You will remember me for this.

Overall the food was very good. We had been to the buffet table for a Sunday brunch. We were pretty much the first ones to enter the restaurant and had plenty of attentive service given on the table.<br/>We were started off with some tomato basil soup, followed by almost 4-5 appetizers (including a lovely dahi papdi)<br/><br/>What was disappointing was the main course, especially as a vegetarian. The choices were pretty limited and the veg biryani (go ahead, make your khuska jokes) came to the buffet counter only when we almost finished our desserts.<br/><br/>There were about four desserts; a mediocre shahi tukda and some top notch kheer.<br/><br/>The service was courteous and timely, especially by the pony tailed funky looking gentleman. The food in itself was average.<br/>

Situated at one of my favourite areas of Bangalore at the heart of HSR, this is located at the second floor on the same building where the House Of Commons and Shift is located.<br/>Medium seating space where close to 40 people can dine together!<br/>We started off with Tom Yum Soup which was okayish! Then came the chilly Gobi which was really good! It was crunchy and spicy! Next we had chilly babycorn and shahi paneer tikka! Both were quite good! We had the mango mango punch and Pina colada as our mocktails and boyy it was amazing! Amazing mocktails that can make you drool! We also tried their chilly fish which was incredibly soft and juicy! Next we had their chicken wings and absolutely loved it! The spice and the sauce really compliment the dish!<br/>We then head to our main course and liked the peshawari chicken along with some steamed rice. The bhuna gosht was disappointing as it was too hard and chewy! Like the peas masala !<br/>We were provided with some butter naan to go along with the gravies!<br/>Lastly in dessert we had the fruit custard, strawberry parfrait and gulab jamun with ice cream! The desserts overall could have been better!<br/>Overall a great place to enjoy some good food specially the starters with your loved ones! Was hearing about this buffet place for quite a long time. Been here 2weeks back on a Sunday Eve for dinner. Unlike other buffet places, options are very less here for both starter and dessert. As it was mostly all South Indian dishes so I avoided them.<br/><br/>The biggest disappointment for me was the dessert section. There was only vanilla ice cream. Like seriously guys?? atleast you should keep the basic flavour of ice creams. So I had the gulab jamun and fruits. That's all. Other than that there was only kheer. That's it for dessert. I mean price is no where less than other buffet restaurants. Then I don't know why the option and variations are so less and limited.<br/><br/>I thought of giving 2 rating the only thing why I gave 3 is the hospitality of the staffs. I am surprised to see the bad reviews here for this place cause I was absolutely delighted by the food. Probably this restaurant has worked on their negatives and improved a lot. To start with the ambience, it is a buffet layout of Shift which lies on the next floor and is pretty decent for a dining space, not too huge though. We got their pinacolada to begin with and it was delicious!<br/>They started with two kinds of soup- Tomato soup and clear chicken soup. I personally don't like tomato soup in general but the chicken soup was prepared well. Went to this place on a weekday for lunch to catch up with a couple of friends, a small cozy place located in HSR right above the shift, since it had an average rating above 4 and I must say it did not disappoint at all.<br/><br/>The staff was very courteous and service was quick which is rare to find these days. Coming to the food, the spread is pretty decent for their pricing with 4 veg starters and 4 non-veg starters and around 6-7 options for their main course.<br/><br/>We started with the french onion soup which could've had a little more seasoning to my liking but it was good overall. Among the starters, the pepper garlic prawns and the paneer starter stood out the most while my favorites among the main course would definitely have to be the chicken biryani and the mutton kaali mirch which we wiped down along with some butter naan. The naan was crispy and soft which made the main course dishes taste even better. The dessert section was also good but I believe they could've had a better spread for it.<br/><br/>Overall it was a good experience. Definitely worth the price, we all walked out with happy faces and filled tummys :)

A perfect and pocket-friendly buffet restaurant located in HSR Layout. The ambiance was a bit crowded obviously because of the delicious food offered. We tried a lot of items on the menu. The pizza and pasta were the standout dishes of all. Overall a very nice experience. Recommended for dining with family and friends.

I visited this place yesterday. It was major failure of my list. First of all the place is very small and even that also it is 70% empty. I visited this place after seeing the ratings in zomato. In zomato they mentioned non veg buffet 599+tax.. I was amazed after reaching over there when i got to know they are charging 15% tax.. 5% gst and 10% service charge... I was like how they could charge 10% service charge when u r in buffet. I must say this is pathetic. They clearly told that outside in elevator they have metioned it. I mean do i have to get the information from the elevator. It was funny and annoying both. I am gonna report it to the consumer forum regarding this . Now coming to the food... Starters are pathetic apart from chicken wings. I hardly ate any of it... The offered 4 non veg starters. Chicken tikka kebab was smelling. Me and my friend couldn't eat that. Fish taste also avg and prawn are like horrible. In main course also they have nothing interesting. Biriyani does not look like biriyani.. Only mutton was good and who makes tomato fish currymm horrible is taste.. 4 non veg main course was there. They mentioned live chaat counter and pasta but i did not see any live counter. Absolute fake information provided by restaurants. In dessert also they have only vanilla ice cream.. Gulab jamun.. Some kheer and cut fruits.. Too much bad experience. Had my worst day and writing this after a report of bad stomach ache. Went to this place with 5 other guys. Had their mutton rogan josh dish which had Goat hair in it. Not just hair but a strand of hair. Management apologized , didn't take money to compensate but had to write this as two of the guys already having motion sickness. Worst part , one of the consumers is pregnant. Hoping nothing more than motion sickness.

Awesome place with great food and good service. This place has a extensive starter spread. We visited here during a weekday evening and had a very good experience here.<br/><br/>The Lung Fung Chicken Soup with egg drop tasted awesome. The BBQ Cottage Cheese and Tandoori Gobi was mouth watering. The Hot Basil Fish was melt in the mouth. The Prawn Manchurian was very tasty.

The buffet table is located right below shift and i must say i had a very pleasant experience over there. Minimalistic ambience , soothing music and i loved there furniture its pretty unique. It has got very nice ventilation and one of the nice places to witi your family , friends and colleagues. THE BUFFET TABLE is a Casual Dining place located at HSR Layout. They are specialized with the cuisines which is more into North Indian, Pan Asian, Chinese, Italian and Continental. It is a place for Buffet food lovers.<br/><br/>1) Coming to the Ambience firstly i would say that this place gives you a comfort feel and it's bright and good in the day time. love the seats here, good colours added to the place which mixes well with the seats. It's very spacious and the bathrooms also is well maintained.<br/><br/>2) Quick Service, they even kept filling up our glasses with water even before the water was about to get over from the glass which is good and not many places do that. best thing about this place is that, it craves for customer satisfaction.<br/><br/>3) Staff Behaviour was amazing, welcoming and friendly. they even suggested us few good food which is most happening from the menu too so good thing the people who work here have a good knowledge on their menu and food tastes.<br/><br/>4) Music was very good, instrumental music of all interesting songs. too good!<br/><br/>5) Food is the main thing for me at the end of the day, i loved most of their dishes here yet there are some which needed to need to be improved upon. Visited The Buffet Table on a weekend and this was an absolutely worthy experience I must say. From the starters to main courses and desserts, service and the relatively low price to the chilled out ambience, there is nothing we find amiss here. <br/><br/>For buffets in HSR, I have found a new place. Will visit again very soon with friends!

To be honest this place had nothing for Veggies. We had a dine out here with a group of 8 and the vegetarians had a disappointment because the variety was limited for them as per the menu, though it was a good buffet for non-vegetarians. The ambience was lit and the service too . Just expected the quality of food to be more better being located at a posche area

One of the worst experience I had in a buffet anywhere. A very small place to be a buffet first of all.<br/>The shortcomings are so many that i just cannot do with it. We went here on a team lunch and regretted it to the core.<br/>The key points :<br/><br/>🔹The place is really small.<br/>🔹They dont serve the starters on the table as any other intended buffet place. Instead you have to form a line like any marriage and take.<br/>🔹Very less options - only 4 veg and 4 non veg starters.<br/>🔹The fish served was smelly and I had to complain. No heeds given.<br/>🔹The chicken was dry was hell in starters.<br/>🔹The main course as expected had 3 gravys in veg ( including dal ) and 3 in non veg ( not even one fit to eat ).<br/>🔹The cutlery used was not even washed properly had permanent stains all over it.<br/>🔹The main course table was dirty with dust.<br/>🔹Found a hair in one of the dessert. Atleast they paid attention to that.<br/>🔹Worst management . Ordered a drink and reminded them of it and actually never got it.<br/>🔹The forks and spoons were kept in one tray as in some marriage.<br/><br/>I am seriously shocked to see a rating of 4+ here. Managed by the Shift only, i had much experience there in terms of food as well as service.

I went there to celebrate with my family after reading all the top reviews.. Well they are misleading. The vegetarian starters were OK but the main course was pedestrian.. You know it when they are trying to make do. The worst part was that my parents and son came down with vomiting and stomach ailments the very evening. One of them is admitted in hospital. So, definitely not worth it

Not a great experience .very very slow service . Unresponsive waiters . At least one of them needed to be reminded about what we wanted . Food though was average .<br/>

Went for a treat. it's good ambience and lovely music. The starters are too good. We had appolo fish very much which is very tasty along with the other starters.<br/>Also we found beetroot halwa is too good which is must try for anyone. Tatsed biryani with mutton curry which has different taste all over when compared to other restaurants

Very nice we went for team lunch. Staff are good, place is also good and yes also the nice outer view. Same The shift and The Buffet Table are managing by the 1 owner only. In Zomato there are offers eat 5 pay 4, eat 20 pay 16. Veg and non veg items all are good...They will serve the starters then main course u have to take your own. Chapati, nan, bread they will serve on table.

The waiters should be trained well. I felt its not good for group events. And the drinks are pathetic....especially mocktails.<br/>The menu is also average. The service is quite disappointing

Service was fine but food was not at all good. Non veg starters were somewhat fine , to some extent. Other than that, be it veg starters , salad , main course or desserts, everything was below average.<br/><br/>This restaurant also impose service charge(10%) which most of the other restaurants don't. Stale food,forgetful waiters and dirty tables and chairs: the qualities of a bad restaurant all of which were present in 'The Buffet Table'. There were only 5 to 6 vegetarian options for lunch and the food was below average.The icecream was warm and molten and the other desserts were impalatable. The service was quite slow and poor and onky added to the terrible taste of the food. I cant even say it was value for money. We complained to the manager and he waived off the bill becoz we had such a bad experience but the damage was done. Never go there

The food quality and test was OK , nothing extraoridinery yhere . However it took over an hour to serve 5 veg starters on buffet and repeated only after multiple reminders. Just with 3 of the tables being occupied the service was way below standered and slow.

Heard about this place and visited on a weekday along with friends and must say that its crowded and the environment is just like weekend 😄<br/><br/>This place is located at HSR and its easy to find and ambience is quite good.<br/><br/>Started with French Onion Chicken soup, it has a different but nice taste. Felt bit waterish, might be better way to serve this dish.<br/><br/>Starters are served on the table and in vegetarian I liked onion rings and crispy baby corn even though I felt onion rings is so oily, taste is yum. In non vegetarian I liked murgh hariyali. The spices are blended so good that for each and every bite we can enjoy the flavors.<br/><br/>The best part of this place is Mocktails and cocktails. I really enjoyed the Acharoska Fruit punch and Mango. These are the must try items.<br/><br/>In main course, personally I liked Mutton Kali Mirch, Chicken Biriyani, Burn Garlic Noodles and its so good and tasty. Mutton is perfectly cooked and blend of spices to it gave best taste.<br/><br/>In desserts I loved custard. You can taste the real homely food, which we can’t get so easily everywhere. The fruit bowl with a mix of watermelon, papaya and pineapple. A perfect summer special fruit bowl which we can’t miss to complete our meal 😍

Advance table booking would help.<br/><br/>Located above Shift, they have a pretty decent menu that fits the price point<br/><br/>Drinks need special mention :) fruit based mocktails cant be missed.. my favourite include kiwi & acharoska.<br/><br/>Enjoyed the starters that are served to table among which haryali murgh & soy honey chicken are the best. Cripsy onion rings are made with rava batter which is quite interesting<br/><br/>In the mains, i loved the aloo capsicum dry & fish curry..Do try their nooodles :)<br/><br/>Desserts are limited but they were decent, enjoyed cut fruits n ice cream.<br/><br/>Wish the staff can be trained much better to cater when it gets crowded..definetly room for improvement<br/>
