Review Sri Venkateshwara Sweetmeat Stall - Bengaluru

Sandhya Prashant
Anything and everything in Indian sweets is available here. Clean and fresh. They have most traditional sweets and savories too! They have expiry dates for all items which is helpful for those traveling. Will definitely go again. Just wanted to share this after eating some 30 days expiry sweets that are sold in a wrapper(I have added a picture) most say bites and are hard and not very tasty. Just be aware if you are taking it as a gift abroad. I threw away a few.

We had been there specifically for their variety of chats. We had tried aloo chat, Raj kachori, bhel Puri, masala Puri, Pani puri, and Dahi Puri. The chats were tasty and completely worth the price. You could possibly complete the entire chat menu within 750 or so. We also tried their basundi which was less sweet making it a perfect end for dinner.

This sweet shop has many branches in Bangalore & a renowned name amongst Bangaloreans. All varieties of Indian of North, South, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Rajasthani, Maharashtrian, Coastal sweets, chats are available in plenty. Facilities in the premises, packing, for courier are entertained. One never feels disappointed after visiting this shop. Clean, calm, spacious, well ventilated, quick service, sampling of items are specialities here. Above all front end personnel speak local language familiar to many the names of sweets, namkeen, chats etc. Many busy in bulk individually packed in covers for birthdays, school functions, picnics, office functions, marriages, get togethers etc. A quality shop of quality items for quality customers. We must patronise this shop. The owner must be thanked for his venture. Good luck. Dr.K.V. Murali

Needless to say, one of the best Mysore Pak’s in the city! Their dessert section is worth drooling over. There is a dedicated seating area in the first floor for chat items. Tried their monthly special Pav mixed masala and a samosa channa chat. In the desserts, their lychee malai is a must try. Their Shahi tukda, gulab jamun were good too. Restroom is pretty neat and well maintained.

It was rainy day we were looking for some nice chats to eat but need to have a roof covered and a seating place and this place stuck to my head and went here. They serve many varieties of sweets and chats. We ordered for dhahi puri and bhel puri both were authentic and has more of khatta meata taste which I love so we enjoyed chats here. Pricing is bit Higher Side as they have good seating and taste its ok to pay little more.

All varities of sweets available. Sweets are fresh. Well maintained, attentive staff. Snacks are freshly prepared. Sweets are not priced correctly. The rates can be reduced.

5star for the special Mysore pak.. Sulked in pure ghee you get to see the ghee flowing around the sweet !!! Definitely it’s their signature product and must try if you are a sweet tooth!!! Cold Badam Milk Not great, felt more like artificial couldn’t find any bite of badam pieces unlike you get in Anand.. its Thick n Cold but not great though!!

First floor has self service resturant for chaats, parathas, chole bature, pav bhaji etc. I tasted aloo tikki chole, sattu Paratha and cold badam milk. All were good. Ground floor has sweets and savouries. Mysore pak and malai rasmalai were good.

Chats are tasty and fresh. Only challenge is it's too spicy. Even if we request low spice it's high especially samosa chole.

We visited their Factory in yelachenahalli. It's huge and for the first time I saw the preparation of mysore pak in very large quantity. Got a chance to taste fresh li made mysore pak which melts as soon as it hits the tongue. In the festive season they prepare around 1000 kg of mysore pak per day😳. Also visited their stall to taste few other sweets and mixtures. Kaju dishes was my personal favorite after mysore pak. They also have a wide range of dry fruit and sweet gift boxes. Their gift boxes starts from 175rs to 4800rs per box.

This was my long time wish to taste their Ghee Mysore Pak Dumroot Malai Rasmalai All the three sweets are excellent with respect to taste and texture. Tried their Litchi Rabdi and fell in love with it. They have a wide range of Sweets and Namkeens. They even have a chat centre in the first floor, will be visiting it next time for sure. I would surely recommend all the four sweets mentioned above.

We usually have Parathas here. Paneer paratha is good. They serve it with Chole, curd and pickle. Chaats r alright, not amazing. I find d Chaat prices little high. Neat n clean place. Self service. Food is cooked quick, not much waiting period. Everything looks fresh. Lots of variety. Snacks section is 1st floor, on ground floor there's infinite variety of sweets available.

Very good sweet and chats

Good for shopping best Mysore Pak. They are truly Mysore Pak people as they say it. Apart from Mysore Pak they very good namkin options...navaratan mixture is my favourite. They also serve snack and have separate area on first floor. Do try rasgulla chat though it is not a good mixture.
Abhinandan Srinivas
They charge 70 RS for a glass of Badam milk which is filled turmeric and slight badam powder. I did not even find at least one piece badam in it, they had grinded a bit. Preparing a badam milk with MTR powder at home will be far far better than what these guys serve. Totally disappointed!

Pretty good place actually. Very clean. Good quality food. Great service. Really liked the veg roll, the paratha chat and the peni. The rava kachori was pretty good too. A pleasant visit on the whole.
Bhakasura_
The perfect place for those with sweet tooth. They serve verity of sweet dish, starting from Mysore pak to Bengali sweets. Dhum root and special ghee mysore pak are the mind-blowing items. Special mysore pal just melts in your mouth and spreads all over and satisfies your taste buds. They have 3 outlets in namma Bengaluru. Search your nearby outlet and grab some sweets.

This rating is regarding the restaurant only. As a sweet shop they are good with mysore pak being thier best sweet. Now coming to restaurant

1) We ordered panner tikka masala.
It was too sour and the panner was of very poor quality
I litreally showed the manager that i had to tear into panner
with force for me to eat it
With a price tag of 295 rs ,we expect the sabji to be good

2) They just sorry and didnt refund the amount of the curry

Suggestion :- Please buy sweets and chats from this shop. Don't go to restaurant

My favourite place! Every food item tastes amazing. I would give 5/5. It's very clean and hygienic. My most favorite food is pav bhaji. World's best pav bhaji!! 😍😍😍

Located in the Basavangudi main road , right next to Udupi Krishna Bhavan . They have a massive 3 floor building. 1 st floor is self service , 2 nd floor is service section and 3 rd is party hall . They have huge varieties of sweets from Kaju barfi s to Mysore pak . Rosgulla to chirotti s . Mixtures to Chat’s .
Most of their dry sweets are tasty and fresh , hygiene levels are high . However I felt the mixtures and chiroti s ( basically fried items ) were not that fresh and could make out the difference. Overall a decent place to eat or buy some quick snacks and sweets . Must try - Mysore paks , any dry fruit based sweets, Chats and Parotas . Badam milk is delicious and not to be missed .

Taste - 3 / 5
Ambience- 4/5
Value for money - 3/5

Placed in a prime location, dodge in for wide variety of snacks and filling parathas and of course sweets. The snacks tastes great and parathas have good filling and thickness , the sweets taste and not be spoken:) The packing was great but the pricing is way high upon that charging for parcel is also good. Try this for some tasty snacks and sweets

First of all I have to been to Jaynagar branch JP Nagar and Basavanagudi branches , the chats are very delicious and mouth watering , but it's on the expensive side though, self service and ambience is average overall amazing experience...
Neha Lokesh
The sweet stall offers a wide range of sweets that's both eye appealing and tastes sinful.

I tried lychee rabri, it was a little too sweet for my palate. However, my father who loves sweets, enjoyed it. (It was priced 70 per piece)

We bought home the legendary Mysurpak and it was delightful. I would recommend it to everyone who loves sweets. (It was 680 per kilogram)

Hope this was helpful :)

Clean,quiet and climate controlled place.
Snacks are very good and tasty. Lot of variety available.
North Indian food is very tasty .
Good place for get-together
Disha
The was a part of the Krishna Bhavan earlier and served parathas and chats as well.
They have moved out now into a separate sweet meat stall with sweets and savouries.

We took Mysore pak, kalakand and dum rot for take away. They were packed beautifully. Mysore pak was so good. The kalakand was okayish and hence the four star.
Otherwise, perfect place for all sweet desires. They have such a huge variety in the sweet section.

Among all the food related options available in Bengaluru, for the sweets, and in particular for Mysore Pak, this was the place recommended to me by a few people. So I just went there to see if for myself; and as I haven't been into Mysore Pak much so I tried Jalebis and Pani Puris there instead and they were tasty as well. I would especially mention the honey clad & stuffed Jalebis, something which I hadn't tasted before. And it tasted pretty damn good! I was definitely impressed.

MysorePak and Kashi halwa is always fresh and test so good, I am so addicted to its test, I even order through third party app to pick up Mysore Pak only from this branch
Bakasura Forever (www.bakasuraforever.in)
Have been here a lot of times.. have had dhokla, badam milk and more. The only confusion is in the name meat.. I know it stands for mittai but come on. It's not meat as in non-vegetarian meat. Overall its worth going.
Ananya
My to go place for all my chaat cravings. Sev puri here is my favourite. It’s a must try here. Yummy chaats and sweets. Badam milk is awesome too. Refreshes you after a long day.
A good place to get away from the crowds of Gandhi bazar and have some good food.
Sachi Is Veggie
Had been here for a chats party recently and frankly I was disappointed with the taste of chats here. We have visited this place earlier and didn't mind the food. The Mysore pak is our favorite sweet from here.
They have a new building of three floors, bright and clean. The ground floor has an array of sweets which make you drool. The first floor they serve chats juices and snacks. The second floor has a restaurant which I am not aware what they serve. The chats served here are Kolkata style, the main component being alu and channa. It lacked the chatpata factor and was heavy on the stomach.
Overly priced and the staff are least bit friendly. Other than being hygienic, I would definitely prefer a gadi chatwala.
Abhinandan V
A good place for a variety of sweets. Quality is good. I especially like Mysore Pak. I tried the chats which is available on the first floor, it was good. Hygiene is good. Staff is friendly. I visited Gandhi Bazaar, which can be easily located. Overall a good place to visit.

Few months back they started north Indian restaurant too at this place. Recently got to know about it and visited this place. Loved the food, ambience and service.
Want sweets, snacks, chats, north Indian - visit here
Been here today evening for chats. Big and a very nice place after they moved here.
Took Aloo Tikiya Chat and Raj Kachori. Tasted very good and a lot on the quantity. Had the curd in Raj Kachori been colder, it would have tasted even good.
Decent ambience and can visit this place occasionally.

Ambiance: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Service: 4/5

Stop for some mouth watering ,delicious and authentic Mysore Pak @ Venkateshwara Sweet. Their Mysore pak is 100% pure and the best in karnataka. One has to taste it to believe it.
Gujiya/Karjikai, Almond Burfi and Dry fruit mixtures are good too.

This chain is the namesake (but with a twist: a gap between 'Sweet' & 'Meat') of Bangalore's legendary sweetshop famous for their #MysorePaak. Yeah, they don't anyway belong to the franchise of the Majestic shop even if their name might suggest so.
Now the most important part is the taste of their Mysore Paak is way much better than the one we ate at the so-called authentic majestic shop. Once having this sweet here, you won't ever be able to admire it anywhere else and it's guaranteed! Perfect quantity of ghee, raw ingredients & sugar creates a magic splash in your mouth that's everlasting & will surely leave you craving for more!
Tried their unique #Dumrot (White pumpkin halwa) and banana chips also which were good & without any artificial colour but just faded away in front of the Mysore Paak.
Food:4.5/5
Service:4/5
VFM:4/5

I used to never like mysorepak but had to change my opinion coz this place makes one of its kind, just melts in ur mouth. The place has been renovated with spacious seating facilities. Great mysore pak. Even the restaurant on the 2nd floor serves super food! Its a must visit if you're in the vicinity.. we had a memorable dinner!

A good place to hangout and have Chats. If you like spicy chats , make sure to let them know because they tend to add sweet chutney a lot. A good place overall.
Aruna
I ordered pav bhaji, vada pav, dahichat n masala puri n could not even complete 20% of them.me n husband stopped eating after few spoons n kept starring at each other.worlds worst pavbhaji n vada pav.who puts full peas in pav bhaji.its is all supposed to b mashed.t pav was so hard.dahi chat was full of semi hard potatoes tat u cannot eat after few spoons.n vada pav they gave with ketchup and some orange chutney yuck.this place is only for sweets and their potato chips!the new bigger place is aflop.i used to b fine with the old place though not great it wasnt this bad atleast.v left all that we ordered.
Rakshitha Rao
I guess this has been my all-time favourite chat shop as the Dahi Puri which they offer is just so mouth watering!!!

I have always been a regular customer for the Dahi chats and also their Paratha. My parents were the one who introduced me to this place and their amazing food in my early days and I have been a loyal customer to them since then.

They prepare Paratha with wheat and not maida that is what actually attracted me to this place as I was an avid Paratha lover and was also a diet freak hence both came hand in hand in this place and I should thank them for this!!

Love every Parathas and chats in this place and they do offer rasgulla chat which is a must try for a person with sweet tooth 😉

Ambience - 3.5/5
Pricing - 4/5
Taste - 5/5
Had a heard a lot about this place ..... for their sweets and chaats and finally got a chance to try ..... loved what we ordered ...

We ordered - Dahi Tikiya
Kachori Chole Chaat
Bhel Puri

Will definitely try their rasgulla chaat the next time I visit 😃😃

A goto place for ghee Mysore Pak and other desserts.
Definitely not the place for Chats.Don't even think of ordering any chats. They do not have green peas masala puri instead their every other chat has brown chikpea in it and the taste isn't good. Every other time I've been here with different set of friends, the feedback for chats by my friends is really bad that they can't even finish less than half a plate of chats ordered.
Sweets and Sovouries -5/5
Chats-1/5
Ambience- 2/5

Go here for their sweets only. Their most famous product has to be the Mysore pak which comes with a sinful amount of ghee with it. Other sweet items like the jalebi, jahangiri & the jamoon are good too. But the surprise here has to be the "Honey" Jalebi, which is dunked in honey instead of the usual sugar syrup. I also had a regular jalebi from here & it too was pretty decent.

I also tasted their pani puri, which was quite alright. But it could have been better with a little bit more of spice added. The bhel puri sucked big time & I wondered if they had used an stale ingreidents to prepare it. So the chats from here are a strict "No-No" for me atleast. I also took a parcel of their doodh pedas & their ribbon murrukku. The pedas had a melt in your mouth consistency while the murruku were not hard to bite into & were perfectly spiced too. They also dole out lassi's too. But after my chaat mishap, I wasn't brave to try those.

The interiors are extremely neat & tidy. The ambiance is quite apealing too, will give it a 4*. The staff are polite & quick, so they too get a 4*. The VFM would be a 4*.

Yes, I will be back here to only gorge on their sweets atleast.
Reshmi AR
Think Mysore Pak, think this sweet meat shop. The sweet just melts in your mouth. The special ghee variety is to die for. Even other sweets are tasty, but my all time favourite here is the special mysore pak
Hemanth R
In Bangalore if you really want to taste ghee mysorepak-try the masters and inventors of this sweet to the city HERE.Initially opened their shop on Avenue road in last 70 years have branched out.
The mouth watering mysorepak at its best is prepared by the chef to whom I bow my head down ....
The legacy lives ON...
Parking limited...
Good hygiene...
Staff very helpful and courteous
If you want to taste sweets before buying please ask them...always happy to help
One word for them-WOW
Prashanth The Globe Trotter
This is one of the oldest sweet stalls in Bangalore. What a location! You can't find a better place than Gandhi Bazaar.

The staff is helpful and serves the Sweets very quickly.

Famous for: Mysore Pak, Soan Papdi, Dharwad Peda, and Jamoon.

Price is on per with other sweet famous sweet stalls.

Between Kanti Sweets and Sri Venkateshwara Sweets, I would prefer the latter one any day!
Renukesh Bingeri(Eat.Travel.Capture)
I have been visiting this place since quite a long time for their mouth melting signature dish "Mysore Pak" .
Mysore Pak here is delicious one cannot say no to their Mysore Pak,l. They also have wide variety of sweets and condiments. Sweets are decent in taste and fresh. They also have seating inside for few people. Chiroti is one thing which we won't get everywhere but it is available here.

Must visit for Mysore Pak lovers!
Apoorva
Along with a wide variety of sweets, signature sweet being the special Mysore Pak, that just melts in your mouth, they also serve different chaat items, parathas, sandwiches and lassi. All the dahi items in chaat section and rose lassi is what I like the most here.
Arnav Jaithalya
Sweets are descent.
The chaats are terrible, They use the curd directly, Without making it into the labaan consistency.
The tastes are terrible too.
I tried 6-7 items here & I didn't like anything .

It's one of the most famous places in basavanagudi. Going here from 8 years now and I've never been disappointed. Place is small so you won't have much time to sit n talk but you can definitely visit it for chats and sweets. Try their rasgulla chat which was introduced to me by a friend long time ago and even today I enjoy it as if I'm trying it for first time, also katori chat is famous here. If yore looking for a place for healthy sweets and chats this is it. Rates are bit high compared to chats which you get outside but that's the price we've to pay for hygiene and taste. They've one more shop in dvg road of Gandhi bazaar. Can visit there too.
Hemanth Kumar
Had been here for some quick chaats with family thinking that it is the branch of famous sri venkateshwara sweet shop in Balepet, but seems it is not so as per other foodies here.

Tried the rasgulla chat which was too sweet for my liking. Also tried the paneer vegetable samosa chat which was average.

Tried some sweets Turkish halwa, Ajmer kalakand and laddu sandwich among which turkish halwa was nice but others were just average.

If this is not the branch of the original shop in Balepet, then will not visit from next time.
AlokVee
Worth every visit. The food is freshly prepared and served quick. Price is reasonable and ambience is good. I liked the strawberry lassi here a lot.
Poojitha Govardhan
My dad's favourite sweet shop! He says he's been going to Venkateshwara since the time they were at Majestic. So what's pulls him here always is the Sohan Halwa that he can't get over!

Basavangudi branch is pretty big, they do have some seating behind the counters. We are a sweet loving family and each one of us have our own favourites here. My target always is the ever-yummy Jamoon and Damroot. Would sometimes swap it with Rasgulla and pack some pista badam rolls to much at home. My mom loves the Dhokla from here, though I'm not a great fan of it, it tastes ok for me.

They do have some chaats and other junk food. Samosas and kachoris are great. Masala poori is a must have if u like the Channa based ones! Aloo chat that I tried for the first time here was so-so!

Prices are worth the quality of food served. It's a self service place.
Nikita.Kiran
I walk into this place and order my usual making sure no one is looking...
Guilt struck I take my order to my table..
Ghee ke paranthe 😍😍😍😍
He makes these well stuffed paranthas and serves them with dahi n chole.
Onions on request
I pounce on the plate the minute I get the food
My personal favourite would be ghobi. . I usually ask for no ghee. . Either way it's still great. .
Rate-60 to 70 per parantha

Me and my friend were here... It is a good place... A little overrated though... The grape juice is nothing but a waste of money... The pav bhaji is excellent... Apart from that everything else is just ordinary... The ambiance is quite nice...
Arjun Ashok
If you haven't visited the place yet, I would recommend to drive to this place as soon as possible. Specifically, the Basavanagudi outlet. It is a small place and pretty good seating capacity. This is a regular hangout spot of me and my wife. We are ready to cross every single traffic signal and the traffic drag all the way from Murugeshpalya just to eat out from here. Apart from the sweets, the paratha's they serve are super delicious. Sattu paratha is my favorite and Aloo my wife's! If Sattu paratha doesn't fill my stomach, second thing I order would be Paneer paratha! If any one ask me for a go to place for parathas I would point to this place. Sattu, Aloo, Panneer and occasionally Chole Battura is what our regular eats are! Make sure you don't miss tasting the Badam Milk and Grape juice there as well. Grape juice they serve have got a unique taste that you won't get elsewhere. I'm not a big fan of sweets and thus not commenting about the quality of that part of the outlet. :)

Located in the heart of Basavangudi, this place is a geographical landmark for many.
It's clean. Hospitable staff.
I had the pav bhaji today. I'm not much of a pav bhaji fan, but this was exceptionally good. The pav was super buttery, tasty and prepared just perfectly. The bhaji was great and complementing as well.
Hubby simply loves the Rasgulla Chaat here.
So, 4 stars for one of the best pav bhajis.
Sujatha Viswanath
I'm a regular customer here.My daughters and father like the rasmalai , rabadi(but nothing beats the rabadi in Puri,Orissa). We also try new Mixtures.Everything is fresh.I also loke the new chairs. They are very comfortable. This place is also very clean and hygenic. The outlet area is small. It is a little stuffy near the seating section. But I enjoy the food here.
Abhishek Kubasad
Just when you want to eat very chatpata types, head straight here. They provide quite wide range of eateries and wild combinations. I like the most, rasgulla chat. The name maybe weird but it tastes awesome. Has ample of space inside to hang out with friends. Don't go by the name of meat, they don't serve anything of it.
Chathura Viswanath
One of the famous sweet stalls under udupi Krishna bhavan. It has variety of sweets chats and juices. This place is clean, well lit. I love those chairs. Ras malai and mixtures are good. We are regular customers. Also they have thick pulpy grape juice ( concentrated). The rabadi is also good
Nameesh (Fodyssey)
This is one of the well known places in the Basavangudi Area. But, it took a while for me to visit the place as I was not aware of some of their specialities. And many times only if someone refers to us regarding these places, we would want to attempt going to the place.
Well, I got to thank my neighbour @BSK ie., when I was living there in the vicinity, who referred me to the place. Actually, I was quite delighted to find out about a new place that has been tested by someone.

I finally decide to go there with family to have some of the evening snacks. Being situated in the ‘Gandhi Bazaar’ area makes it so much more easier to spot this. And sometimes when you are passing across the small roads and then reach small-circle, you end up looking right and left, it becomes quite easy to spot it.

The place as it suggested from its name is pretty much a sweet shop. There are couple of things in sweets that I have taken and best of them include - Mysore Paak, Badam Halwa, Moti-Choor Laddu, Sonpapdi (white) and some of the of the standard Kaju sweets. I know its kind of hard to try out all of them, the best would be to take a piece of each sweet, have them weight and take a box of it, that way you can taste many sweets. But, I would think its better to take 6-sweets and 2 people sharing it, otherwise it would get too much of sweet to try.

Apart from the sweets, as you walk further inside the sweet shop, you would find few tables with chairs and there is a big time counter for the chats. Apparently, the chats here are equally populate in this shop. Being a chat-lover, I went there with the intent to try out a few of them. And the best part was that there were 3 of us who were quite hungry and wanted to make sure that a good tasting session happens. Some of the chats that I ended up taking include - Paani Puri (I mean thats quite obvious), Masala Puri, Kachoori Chat & Samosa Chaat.

I guess the ‘Pani Puri’ was not that interesting as I felt that there are places were you get better than that. Coz they seem to made it quite normally and the flavour was quite bland and did not have anything special.
The next chat was the ‘Masala Puri’, was quite good, I mean they had added quite a few flavours into it. But then I think some of the other sweet shops serve better than this one.
Kachori and Samosa chaat were also on the same lines as the other chat.

And then one more item, I remember trying was the ‘Badam Milk’ which surely was one of the better items to try over there.

Being in sweet shop also means that you get different types of mixtures. I think among the best of the mixtures - Bombay mix and Kaimurukku was pretty decent to try their.

Overall my rating would tend more towards the 3-ish mark rather than 3.5 coz there isn’t anything striking in terms of sweet or spices. But seriously the ‘MysorePa’ here is simply awesome and you should visit the place for having that for sure.
In terms of the organisation, they are pretty much established and the MysorePa taste is the same almost anywhere. But focussing on having other items along with that, has brought it down a bit.

My other ratings of the place would be as follows -
Food - 3.0/5
Ambience - 3.0/5
Service - 3.0/5
Drinks - 3.0/5

The sweets here are of just above average quality. The prices for chats are extremely overrated.I have heard that the Myaore Pak is famous but it really isn't up to the mark. The prices for sweets are fine.Masala Puri I guess is one of their most famous chaats in Gandhi Bazzar but it has an extremely confusing taste.
Sumukh Vishwanath(Tummy On Fire)
It is famous for the Mysore pak they make..a very fine texture jus a lik a silk..and d quality has been maintained of d sweets same as before..chats ll also be gud..ppl shld try Jain bhel..and pav bhaji..whch ll be tasty..
Bharani Prasad
They are the copycats of the original balepet shree venkateshwara sweetmeat shop. They are basically trying to capitalize on the original store's fame. Mysore pak here sucks and these guys are bloody unethical. If you really want to try the original mysore pak head to the nearby DVG road balepet shree venkateshwara sweet shop. You ll get to know the difference.
TK Venkatesh
I personally don't like this place as it's not maintained...
It's better go for sweets takeaway not to dine for their chats in house... The place is small and smelly on times... Their chats are not so good... The rating from my side is purely only for their sweets...
Banglore Thindies
Best place to buy sweets.. i always buy sweets here when i am visiting my relatives.. they always ask from where will you bring these awesome sweets.. i recommend Kaju pineapple sandwich and all sweets are good. Feast to see them :)
Tejaswini Gajanur
Awesome sweets and mixtures! Also the best place for chaats.. love the parathas here :) have tried everything on the menu :) chaats are exceptionally good :)

They are very well known for their mysore pak. It may be slightly different from the authentic mysore pak but it does keep the essence and originality intact. Their warm melt in the mouth mysore pak can take you to a trans state for a while. Its mouth watering good. This place is a haven for all sweet lovers. They have all kinds of sweets, from chiroti to rasmali anything you are in the mood for. All of them taste their best.

If that's not enough to make you visit them, they have a chats section too and I love their pani puri. Its different from the rest and of course very hygienic. They serve a variety of stuff from the small kitchen at the end of the store. They have 6-7 tables where you can sit and enjoy your sweets and snacks. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings and weekends. So, if you don't wish to wait, you can drop in early or just take your sweets and head back. Their Jayanagar branch doesn't live up to the expectations in terms of service. I prefer this branch over that anyday. But, the sweets are the same in both the places.
