Review The Juke Box - Bengaluru

Awesome!! The ambiance and music were excellent. Best place to have dinner with friends or family. The food menu had lots of options. The price is also reasonable. Staffs were very professional.
Vyshak KP
The best!! I loved the ambiance, the music and food. The ambiance is so awesome. its the place for catching up with friends. The lighting and music makes the ambiance amazing. Its a must try.
Anagha K
I loved the steak 💕💕💕💕 It takes time to get our food, but its worth it. The person who takes our order doesn’t write it down, or keep a track in his phone. He remembers every single thing. That shocked us. 😍

Went to this unassuming bar at the corner of the road in Koramangala. It has such an old bangalore charm and laid back atmosphere. They only serve beer and now they also have toit brews on tap. The masala peanut and masala papad were yum but the pepper babycorn tasted off. Service is decent, tables are kinda small :)

Juke Box is our go to place to grab a beer along with some great food or finger food. Juke Box has the charm of old school Bangalore pub and is owned by Elongos. Music played is decent but won't call it great. Staff is friendly and special mention to Mr Shashikumar, who is ever welcoming and also gives some good suggestions w.r.t. food. They serves kingfisher draught and also few options from Toit as well. Few of my favorite food at Jukebox are chilli pork/chicken, JB special pork, moxed fried rice/noodles, chicken sizzlers and dhansak. Price is reasonable.

A good place to hang out with your family and friends.I have been visiting this place from my college days and till date they have got the same taste for the dishes. If u want to try sizzlers then this is the right place.
Kiran Tiwari
Great music. They play old rock songs, that's why I came here. Plus the menu is cheap and the staffs are really nice. Really enjoyed my time here. Would definitely come here again and again.
Naveen YS
Old city vibe kinda place 80s 90s songs with some great food Really well cooked food.. Unlike most places where u can make out that it is refrigerated or half cooked veggies Very good price for both drinks and food The vibe and music is amazing too.. Best place for the 80s 90s kids ;) The Brownie with ice 🍨 cream is simply 😎 loved it.

Absolutely loved the service and the atmosphere. The food was also good with a good price. I would recommend the Chilli Pork. If you love old school pubs with pocket friendly beer to chill with friends for long hours, then this is the place. It's a small space but I loved the vibe.
Niharika Mohile
The atmosphere is what you go for, it's the absolute best. It plays old English classics, the decor is perfect, the bar itself also is very cute. Don't particularly love the food, and they only have beer in alcohol. But the ambience itself is still deserving of five stars.
Devika Maitra
I absolutely LOVE this place! The chill vibe, old school food, friendly atmosphere totally remind you of old Bangalore when pubs were wholesome and non glitzy. There's no compromise on food quality and quantity. If you want to chill by yourself but end up making friends.. this is the place for you!
Abhinav Srivastav
In love with 70s and 80s rock and pop period. They play all those songs with good beer. Perfect place to go and chill with friends or colleagues.

This restaurant used to be my go-to place to grab a quick beer or have good food (sizzlers) a couple of years ago. The ownership changed and then the quality of food went down along with the service. The only good thing here is the ambience, as they play classic rock music (mostly), have live TV (good on match days) and the decor is very retro, which is really fancy. Some of the dishes I like here are: 1. Spicy/Chilli Pork 2. Grilled Fish in Mustard Sauce 3. Chicken BBQ Sausages 4. All the bacon dishes 5. Mutton Dhansak (Parsi dish - used to be good, but not under new ownership) 6. Chilli/Spicy/JB Beef Dry Fry A lot of their steaks/sizzlers are good, but it's depend on the person's taste. I personally go for Beef Pepper or Five Spice Chicken. You'll have to experiment to find your favorite. This is a pub, so you'll get only beer - just a reminder. The selection is limited, but there's always a pitcher/tower, so you can try that out. It is quite disappointing to see one of Bangalore's oldest and iconic pub lose its quality and charm. Nevertheless, the place holds a sentimental value for many and that's it. You can expect families, young crowds as well as office parties happening here. Parking doesn't exist and you'll have to depend on streetside parking. Overall, a pocket friendly place and good-to-average food.

I love the Jukebox. The food here is absolutely amazing. They have a wide variety to offer and each option is great, which usually isn't the case. Coming to the atmosphere, they play some classic hits and that really takes you back. Very few places have this vibe anymore which is why I love going to Jukebox. The service is excellent and you usually don't have to wait too long to get your order. To sum up, it's a must visit!
Kiran Ravi
Best place to experience the old Bangalore vibe in Koramangala. This place only serve beer in their drink menu, such a old fashioned 2 decade old bar. Ambience is cozy, go here to sip a beer, good food and sing the good english tracks. If you are a bunch of friends, you will have a great evening of fun, laughter and vibes. Loved the place. Great old bars in Bangalore.
Sujata Kar
The combination of retro ambience and the menu makes it a great place to hangout! We had ordered chilli pork, mushroom pepper dry, which was really good. However, we ordered fish and chips also which was not upto the standard because the quality of fish been used there! Could have improved on that. Otherwise it's a budget friendly place to hangout 👍

Vintage pub and bar I'm visiting since 2002, excellent chef and great food, good beer and very friendly place with nice classic rock music
Pearl DSouza
If you like the old school vibe, rock music and some crazy steaks. This is the place. Brewers have sworn by the freshness of the tap Kingfisher beer at this place too. I go back for the scrummy food. The picture with the egg is the beef tenderloin and the other is pork spare ribs. I thought it would come in the form of steaks, but we got an entire sizzler plate.
Aaron Pereira
I liked this place quite a lot despite the shortcomings. Key points Good music ( Dire Straits, Songs from Kill Bill etc ) Good food, although not great, I ordered the steak it was a bit to thinly sliced for my liking We gave the waiter instructions to cook it medium rare, but it was served well done, not a complaint, just thought I should point that out Ambience is not bad, it's a semi early 2000s vibe Toilet is not clean, and smells quite a lot. There is no hard liquor only beer. Only 3 types of micro brewed beer available . The seats can fit medium sized people. It's stuffy and uncomfortable for taller folks But one major downside is absolutely no parking, you have to park elsewhere, often far away from your restraunt When you search for your car your hoping it's not towed, As this is possibly the worst place in all of Bangalore to park anywhere, Cop Land.
Sonakshi Biswas
This place was once touted to be the most happening rock pub in town and also the oldest.
You realise that the moment you step in. the owners have made no effort to swank up the place, which is what makes it great! It retains the old world charm, with its vintage posters and brilliant rock classics that play in the background.
The place only serves draught beer,so if you are expecting any hard drinks, well hard luck!

The food here is to die for! You feel like it's made with love! I would go here to unwind atleast once or twice a month... And have exhausted their menu.
Do try their Pork Chilli and sizzler and steak options!
Great food and great place to sit down and chill.

If you are a smoker, note that the smoking area is outside the restaurant! :P

One of my favorite places in koramangala., though it has less options in drinks menu, this place is still attracting me. A very small resto bar with fantastic ambience. I always appreciated the starters served here, especially beef and pork items.. staffs are really polite and very economic place...
Poonacha Lakshu
Ambience is good....service also good Mr shashi kiran ploite and friendly....nice place but we order for a chilli chicken its was really good by taste wase...! but Quantity was really less you have to look on that.....or else had a great experience here...
Thank you so 😊
Ryan Fernandes
The ambience is of a nice little retro pub. The music is beautiful. Love the place. The food is above average. I ordered pork chilly, beer and beef chilly. Food was tasty. However ,the place looks like it is not maintained at all. I noticed the walls had no paint. The seats looked worn out. A little upkeeping will go a long way to transform the pub from a good to a great pub.All in all though, I'll surely visit again

absolute pleasure to come here at any point in time. my fav thing about the place is that its vintage vibe is real, and not "done up". as in, it's actually a pretty old bar.
they have a good playlist that goes well w a drink and their food, while not exceptional, is still pretty good. the staff is also always friendly and welcoming.
it's the perfect place for a chill evening w friends or for some quiet alone time reading.
it's a surprise that a beautiful place like this remains hidden/unknown on that bustling street in koramangala.
(the best place to sit is right next to the windows so you can watch the world move from that remarkable angle)
Nishant
Loved this place! Retro, old school vibes. No pretentiousness, quick service, AMAZING starters and cheap beer.
Debjani Chatterjee
Great place! Old Bangalore feels! Amazing staff and they are so so very nice to everyone! The food is just amazing and a refreshing glass of beer just tops it all!!
Chicky Marak
It’s a Classic Beer pub, dilapidated but has it's own charm. Could be good talks for old times sake! Foods are okay and music is old school (but Im fond of it) 👍🏻
Shruti Shine
One of my favourite places in Bangalore. Old school. Less crowd. Good food. Good set up. It's a brilliant place to chill. I show up to this place as often as I could.
Dilawar Rawat
Visit this place it Very good. we love place. Because there is our pocket money.
We recommend my friends definitely
Service 5/4
Foood 5/4
Ambiance 5/3
Jovynfernand14
This places serves Parsi food I tried chicken dhansak and machi patra from the parsi cuisine, the machi patra was really good and the chicken dhansak was average.
I also tried masala fish fry and pork chilli both were good
In drinks I tried cool mint which is a must try here and mango bloom was not so good.
The ambience is very retro and the staff is very friendly and nice
Vasu Bajaj
Cute place and nice retro music. The starters were also good. The service was good , value for money and enjoyable place. It's Small but a relaxing place to enjoy your drinks.
Comida Deliciosa
This has been my favourite sizzler place for years in Bangalore. My favourite has always been the five spice chicken sizzler. The chicken cordon blue sizzler is also good. However, I was disappointed during my last visit when the menu seemed to have changed!!
Pavan Naidu
Very much bad. Scamming people with zomato gold instead of mugs were getting glasses of beer on 2+2 food is also not great. Bad place don't visit
Fiby Roshan
When I first stepped in I had a lot of misconceptions about the food and service even though I was really taken with the ambience. Of course the walls are dingy and the seats are tattered, but the pictures hung up and the music kind of makes you feel like you are in an old countryside pub. And the food was just so yummy. The best beef lasagna I have ever had 😍 will definitely go back for more!
Ben Antony
Nice place when I used to go while in my college days. Good food. But I don’t know why it changed a lot. Lack of maintenance. I can see paintings are gone. Even the upholstery sofas all are tear and damaged. Please maintain it properly
Nikhitha
The food is great for the price they offer. The quantity here is quite large.... The retro vibe is great for catching up with friends or for yourself.... Couple of our favorites were lasagna, steak, mango bloom.... The staffs are quick to respond n the food was severed hot! 🍛🍻
Shiv Shankar
This has been my primary go to place to unwind for a very long time. Primary reason being their music. They have a very casual ambience inside, more like bars you see in a western Hollywood movie minus the drinks :-p. Well, they just serve draught beer, which is cheap but not that good. Food is ok.

Still, this place make me feel like good old college days and so 4 stars.
Shishir Belur
Staff were very courteous but the ambience of the place is very average. The food menu is also quite limited and the place doesn't seem to be very happening. However, we had to argue a lot with the waiter to offer us the Zomato gold privileges which had a negative impact on the experience
Susmita Chakraborty
Good place to chill out....yummy and tasty food....ordered mix grill and chicken lasagna....too yummy and delicious....pocket friendly....from outside it's a little gloomy and dark but nice ambience and fun frolic place to enjoy with your near & dear one...
The Food Republic
Came here in the afternoon for a quick drink.
The whole ambience comes off as a little shady. But it gives off a nice old-school vibe.
It's filled with posters of American Pop Culture.
Didn't eat any food here, just the normal beer.
Used Zomato Gold here.

Can't say much about the food but it's definitely a pretty chill place for drinks!
R Mani Kumar
Sizzlers where amazing ,we went with family friends , they need to lit up the place , i heard this place is around 29 years , but sizzlers i never ad like this any where
Arya Gopakumar
Jukebox has some of the best steaks in town, at very affordable rates.
The ambiance is quite average and the place is very dimly lit.
The staff is polite and the service is quick.
we tried the pork chilli, Beef cordon bleu and the beef steak pepper.
all equally good!
Nimmi Prakash
I have always been here on weekdays. In spite of extremely less crowd; the service is extremely slow. They seem to have only 1 staff
Place doesn’t have a great ambience and they have not upgraded since quite sometime. Food tastes average.
Raghunandan DH
This place is one of the pub legacies of Bangalore.owned by the same management as Pecos it still serves more nostaligia than alcohol. Serves only 🍺 beer. KF .

However the food here is quite amazing .unlike other places spice and salt levels are amazingly controlled . Peanut masala here goes well with beer . Don't forget to try their egg pakoda.

Overall a good place to hangout with friends and talk. Although a juke box for rock music the volume is moderated enough .
Sanaaz R Doust
The ambience is very average and a little dingy and dark. However the food comprises for this. Tried their steaks and it was really tasty. Service is good and quick as well. Overall a good hangout for a quick meal

After a gap of 3 years today I have been to this place today. Sad to see that state. Looks shabby and ugly. Once upon a time this was a legendary pub in Koramangala. But the management should take some interest in running this place. I am not saying that they should uplift the place but basic maintenance should be done.
Deepshikha Pathak
Little restro pub you should give a try. Beer coupled with one of their sizzlers or non veg starters is a great option. They have good music playing and the times we visited thankfully didn’t find it over crowded like the rest of the places in Koramangala during the weekends. Maybe people get a little let off the outer appearance and decide not to come in but it’s worth a visit.
Swishanth Ks
Stepped into this place with a lot of expectations, hearing about the food, the music and the retro pub feel interiors. Good things first, music and the ambience was good. Takes you years back, however Sad to say this place was deserted, I take it considering it as a weekday and moreover people are flowing to places where they play Bollywood, EDM so forth so on. But the food was pathetic, ordered a chicken salad it was just mayonnaise and cabbage. Then came the much-awaited chilli pork. What we got was something where you can't even understand whether its pork. So bad, I can outrightly say that it was pathetic.
One of the places there is still some retro feel left, sincerely request the management to take care of it.
Vishal K
#burplicious is one word for this place.

Call me old school but compared to the other places who offer sizzlers, this is a rum old place for sizzlers.

Chicken with mushrooms and Chicken Pepper are some yummy ones you sould try.

Sakhi Nair | Hoppy Hog
No one does old school pubs like Bengaluru. The Juke Box is another classic, with cheap draught beer, chill music and a perpetual aroma of savoury baked food. Must tries here include the Shepherd's Pie, Dhansak, Macaroni Hot Pot, Chilly Beef, Grilled Fish with Mustard Sauce and Chicken Stronganoff. Also, they are a Zomato Gold partner restaurant.
Gyan
I always had the urge to get into the restobar because of the neon light signage which read “Jukebox”. And I don’t regret my decision surely! This would surely been one of my regular hangout place to chill with a glass of beer post a hectic work day if I stayed at Koramangala. The dimly lit space has an old time charm that will surely trigger your relax button in just a few minutes. The place offers you a decent variety of food options to choose from. I have never been disappointed with whatever I have ordered. Sizzlers are a must try!

Best things about the place:
• Pocket friendly
• Mellow music, which gives you ample scope to talk to your friends, unlike most of the restobars playing loud music.

Not-so-good things about the place:
• Slow service: Staff is pretty well behaved and courteous. However, food takes forever to get to your table.
• Ambience: The place would definitely do much better with a touch up of paint on the walls.

P.S: They only serve draught beer. So, might be upsetting for hard drink lovers.

Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3/5
Staff: 4/5
Variety: 5/5
Service: 3/5

Juke box is synonymous to mouth watering sizzlers back then in bangalore when there were hardly any places to offer such refreshing continental cuisine leave apart sizzlers !
This place was always under the wraps but nevertheless been the favourites of the ones who has tried them atleast once.
[FOOD] : To start with i havent had such creamy ( read cheesy) lasagne in the town yet. Though you may get mislead by the quantity but if you are good enough to complete that as well then one should praise your appetite. I usually stick to that which they are best at and that has to be their sizzlers . They offer a huge variety be it the chicken ,mutton or beef ! Pick any and you wont complain though my personal favourites goes from the bbq, mutton steak to the hawaiian steak as well .
Beer butter fish and the chips has to be the other favourite.
Food ratings should be 4/5
[SERVICE] : The service is usually very slow or i guess it was my bad luck that i always faced the issue of longing for the food for the longest time .Though , once the food arrives there is hardly any complains though!
Service ratings should be 3/5
[VALUE FOR MONEY] : The pricing is kinda pocket friendly when compared to any place which serves similar kind of food . Well i would not insist that it would provide you an amazing ambiace but a good enough space to enjoy your meal and why not with some good company. So this place where you can hang out with some good food in the coziest corner of koramangla is highly recommendable .
Priyank Taparia
I am vegetarian and ordered for a veg Mac and mushrooms and requested for it two times to keep it veg. I was served a chicken dish. They never apologized and whatever else was served that night was poorly cooked. I guess bad day but not expected at all
Raghu Raghu
Good place to relax and its old place and good service SIZZLERS is to Good I enjoyed jb chicken wow, we will visit this place with again with couple of friends , but smoking is not allowed inside others everything fine
Dev
Good, cheap Kingfisher draught beer. The coorgi pork and chicken dry fry is really good! Classic Bangalore bar feel, not like all these new hi-fi bars. There sizzlers are good, too. Same owners as Elangos.
Vivek Sharma
First appeal was a old 90's rustic looking not so well maintained place in the heart of the koramangala. Well that's a opinion.I got confused when i arrived near the place .. as i couldn't identify the exact location. :-)As far food is concerned, it was an average experience. Nothing spl or mention worthy. On a second note, i might not visit again, till somethin changes,...
Rahul Chakraborty
This place has got a retro look. But from outside it doesn't look great. Food is awesome. Sizzlers were fantastic, the soup was also good. This place is understaffed hence they take extra time to serve you, however, that can be ignored considering the price they charge. This place is good to hang out with buddies.
Basudeb Bosu
A very small place opposite to Zeeshan in Koramangala.. very easy to miss the quiet place. Ambience is good.. light music and old decor.. food is good.. must try beef chilly, noodles, egg masala and fish fingers(love this one). Friendly staff
Arghya
I just love this place. An amazing place for people who like it calm and peaceful while having a drink or two. Great food! Also a very affordable and pocket friendly restaurant.
Nagarjun Arjun
loved the place. felt it is too congested. food was not bad. can make this place better than what it really is. location is also good. overall would say there Are better places for us to visit than this one.
Remus Noronha
Very cozy little place with decent, filling but a tad overpriced food. The beer isn't really worth it unless, for reasons beyond me, you love Kingfisher.
Vivian Fernandes
I am a regular to this place. Pocket friendly with a mug at Rs. 80 and good music. I wish they could revamp with better decor. Lasagne and Steaks are really tasty and can pass on well after couple of mugs. Overall this place can be a daily adda to enjoy chilled beer in Koramangala.
Swapna Obulareddy
I start with a cry because this place was my fav in Koramangala for years but then from last 4 years or so the management has changed and its gone for a toss.. The beer, music and ambience would just unwind you.. Food is good as well.. It used to be on of those small dim lit cosy cafes for beer but not anymore !!! Old management, please take over !!!!

It's my second time I was visit this place. One of my friend recommended me this restaurant. First time I really like the place. Like as first time yesterday also I went their with my girlfriend to enjoy some beer. We have ordered pitcher of beer, cheese garlic toast, Spicy chicken dry, and later chicken kebab. But really except beer none of the items are not been up-to the mark. Since me and my girlfriend both are in hotel industry profession ( I am working as a restaurant manager in a renouned hotel in Koramangla and she is a continental chef in a renouned property in J. P Nagar.) so we know that every food is not up-to the mark to all. But I am sorry to say you that Cheese Garlic Toast was too soggy, spicy chicken dry taste was very bad. And chicken kebab was more or less good Bt inside its bland.
Anyway sorry to give you this kind of complaints for ur restaurant but u can improve these all. Better luck next time.
Thank you guys. Keep it up.
Ambience - 5
Food - 2
Service - 4
Roja Francis
Nice place to grab a beer and chill. We ordered the beef lasagne. The quantity is really good for the price. They play old retro songs and has a really nice vibe all together. Service is commendable.
Deepak
Such an amazing ambience ....full view of the street....old-school space just takes u to another era....food is cheap and delicious...super cheap beer....must visit.....blew my mind :)
Kaushik Das
This place was pretty famous once upon a time being one of the oldest in the area. We went after 4 years and things have changed. The service was not good at all, we waited for almost 15 minutes before we found someone who came to hand over the menu to us. We ordered Pepper chicken steak Sizzler and Chicken Lasagne. The Steak was decent but the quantity was not enough, however the quantity of Lasagne was quite a lot whereas the taste was not that good.
They should do fix the roof as I saw few dusts were fallen on few of the tables.
Amritesh Anand
Awesome place to check in with a couple of friends and have long chats over beer. The chicken lasagna is super awesome. One of my most favorite place.
Divya Ramesh
Love the food here... Specially salli chicken and peri peri chicken...it gives u a endless taste ,small place..pocket friendly ..peaceful place ... Best serve

This pub is one of the few old ones that has not changed too much, rather not changed for bad. The ambience is simple and sober. The location of the pub is lovely as you take a view of the road through window. So peaceful yet lively.

Food is good and service is great, staff are warm and friendly. One of those peaceful drinking place that's not heavy on your pocket and is women friendly.
Gourmand Girl
Oh Juke Box! What happened?

I'd love to keep coming back for nostalgia's sake but this place is in high need of an upgrade! My love for this place has not reduced, and i'm sure the food is still good too, but this place needs a change.

Keep the heart Juke box, just get a facelift. We love you. Giving you a 4 for all the good ol days.
Ananya Chakraverty
Not so good, food is average, price not justified to the food. Went wuth friends had gobi chilli, chicken noodles not so good. Ambiance is also average did not find the place to be so attractive. Not a place to visit often.
Divya Krishnan
With a vintage ambiance, this place helps re-live the 50s and the 70s. The music, beer, and food, together gives a high of all times. The well cooked and flavored steak, drenched in various kinds of sauces (we ordered with three of those sauces), is worth a try. Not very expensive, not a boring choice; Juke'sbox is one good place to plan a dinner. :)
Jaisinh Vaerkar
Came back after a good twenty years just for old times sake and was not disappointed. The music's still good and the menu has not changed much.

The mutton dhansak was good and the cheese balls were perfect. Cold fresh beer on tap made it a good experience.
Sanket Pande
Visited Juke Box on recommendation of a friend. The restaurant is believed to be decades old. The decor is retro with a number of LP jackets of yester years. Music takes you back to the 80s. Had been visiting the place earlier to drink beer (it only serves beer) before visiting the restaurants around, that do not serve liquor. The location on the corner of the street is very strategic. Ordered Mutton Dhansaag, a traditional Parsi dish. It was yum. However, the lone serving staff was not able to explain what the dish comprised of. He rightly checked with the chef and put me wise. Need to visit again for more. Thats the disadvantage of not being able to savour many dishes in one go (with a group).
Cleanliness - 3.5
Ambiance - 3.5
Service - 3 (scope for improvement)
Food - 4
Stephen Reji
I had wanted to visit this place for a long time. The place looks cozy and plays nice music. But I was disappointed by the food. I had ordered Chicken cordon bleu. It was okay. When I asked for the desserts, the proprietor said that he had only coke and sprite, and no desserts or mocktail. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
Quite A Plateful
Nostalgia. Tables available round the clock. Unpretentious ambience. And some good food and old school music. Pretty much what makes the road lead here often.

The father thought the place would be a great introduction to the "pub" culture decades ago. Loved the food, then. Seemed fitting that the first meal with the forever sidekick be here: oh-so-yummy chicken lasagna and a decent fish steak in a lemon butter sauce. Followed it with the first round of drinks together later and some miserable chicken-fry something and a lifesaver of peanut masala. Now, returns here are for the memories and the steaks.

You're better off drinking cheaper at Elangos opposite and hopping across for some decent food. Never found another table occupied on our late afternoon visits.

But but for the feels of good ol' Bengaluru (and their comfortingly dusty collection of music and film posters), Jukebox shall stay close to the heart.
Nikki Weller
Loved the music here!
Took me back to the days when my parents would sit at home on Christmas eve while we sang along to dad strumming the box guitar , a draught beer and a side of garlic chicken seem to be the best if you wanna unwind!
Went out on a date here and ended up falling for the place!
Although the date seemed boring the music and the laid back atmosphere was worth every penny!
The kulfi and steak too are more than just good!
Mani Deepa
Food is decent; nothing great. Drums of heaven is nice.

Beer - reasonably priced. Good place to catch up with friends.

Overall a decent experience.
Praneeth Av
Jukebox , as soon as you enter this place it welcomes you with a pleasant not-so-loud music and retro interiors. I really like the ambiance low lighting and comfy seating.

Its really good place for conversation over the drinks as it is very calm and pleasant. The price of the beer is so economic.

We ordered two pitchers , garlic cheese toast and peanuts. As our hunger was kicking in we ordered the main course as well. They can improve in their food quality though.

Overall its a good place for hanging out with your friends, if you're not into loud music places. Next time i would try their sizzlers and lasagne as most of my friends suggested it.
Reuben DSilva
Stumbled upon this place after looking for some Parsi cuisine in Koramangala to commmemorate Parsi new year. Its a small quaint spot with beer on tap and a nice classic diner ambience. The dhansak and chicken cutlets were not the best but revived a sentiment.

Years ago, when I first came to Bangalore to study, one of the earliest and pleasant memories was due to JukeBox. I still remember me and my friends welcoming ourselves to Bangalore by drinking ourselves to jelly and struggling to return back home.
Simple, no-frills place this is but one that has stood the test of time even as the service has somewhat deteriorated over the years. A decade has gone by, bars and pubs are there to be found in virtually every and any lane but I guess there is a thing called nostalgia that makes you go back to a place that you have fond memories of. For me, JukeBox is that place. The food -Drums of Heaven (good), Finger Chips (could be made better), the Cheese Balls (the amount of cheese has depleted over the years), the Fish and Chips (crispy to the hilt but the quantity of chips could go up guys), Hawaiian Ham Steak (I love it), the Peas Pulao (blahhh), the American Chopsuey (average)... any of these items on a given day along with good old JukeBox beer just makes my mood.
To be honest, as with every other place, quality is going down slowly, the staff seem lethargic, and it no longer qualifies as a cool place to hang out but I guess one of the main reasons we frequent a particular place is due to the memories associated with it. Good to try out once.

Great food , awesome music and calm atmosphere is what this place offers. Took bear with salted peanut and chilly mushroom. Musroom was too good but service was a bit lagging.. overall i liked the setup especially those country songs at the background.

Awesome food , awesome music , cozy ambiance and prompt service. This place is equally good for friends get together and for family eatout time. Beef stroganoff, fish n chips and sizzlers deserves special mention. Also loved their Sheppard pie and patrani machi. Would recommend this place for all.

One of its kind. Old fashioned. My friend recommended this place and no regrets. Perfect place to have the so famous sunday brunch with beer. Sizzler is something to try out with beer. A low profiled ambience which goes well with the classic tracks. Perfect place if you are want to have that long conversation with a less headcount.

A cozy little place. A good place to hang out with friends or just go solo. Good music, good food, good draught beer. The beer is reasonably priced, while the food rates are standard for a pub. I like the beer batter fried veg balls, chilli garlic toast, the veg kababs, the lasagna and the pasta. I haven't tried the other dishes, but suspect that they will be good too.

The music doesn't get too loud; so, it is possible to hold on to your conversation. :)

Jukebox is a place I won't mind going back to once in a while.

In koramangala you can find lot of places to hangout. This is a small joint with no frills or hyper flashy decor. A good place to spend some quality time. We didnt eat on the eve we went here apart from loads of beer pitchers. Not too expensive as well to make you feel much better.

This place has a nice ambience, low lighting and great music. The interior is lovely.
Food is okay okay. Nothing special. My favorite dish has to be the beef lasagna. It was good!! Everything else we had, seemed to lack flavor.

With so many food joints all around it, this restro bar somehow stands out in the crowd. As soon as you enter, the music just soothens and calms you down ( we went in the evening and there was this jazz music that was playing in the background, we knew we were at the right place) . The ambience is lovely with various records and photographs being hanged on the wall. Also you could see a hanging juke box inside this place.
After settling down, we ordered a pitcher of beer, beef lasagne, American chopsuey and chicken lasagne. The lasagne had a lot of cheese on it ( which we loved) and the American chopsuey was crisp and hot. Everything that we had ordered was absolutely delightful and we enjoyed every bit of it. Ofcourse it had its cons as the preparation time tested our patience, it took more than 20 minutes to reach our table. But then it was worth the wait. I would give the
Food - 4.5 /5
Ambience - 4.5/5
Service - 3.5/5
Saketh Sreemohan

#2 visit
We ordered chicken lasagne and beef canelloni. When the food arrived (after waiting for some time), the beef canelloni looked more like a pizza placed in a small tray. Lots of cheese and beef could be found which is perfectly cooked. The chicken lasagne was as usual just perfect. It was a good experience this time as well.
The only negative thing was the fact that it was very humid inside inspite of the fan being switched on, I was literally sweating. This time, I would give the
Food - 3.5 /5
Service - 3/5
Ambience - 3/5
Rohit Rajeev

One of those decent places for steak and beer it's a good place to some lazy afternoons talking to friends and chilling out. The music is not too loud which allows conversations.

Coming to food, the steak is pretty much as you would customize it and you have some really good choices. My fav being Beef Cordon Bleu. The beer batter fish rocks as well. What I would really recommend are their Parsi offerings which can really make your day and I cant really pick my fav, I love them all.

My only problem is parking which can get hairy on weekends

Heard that 20 years back this was one of it's only kind in Bangalore.. So, I had to try it out, and well it stood out pretty decent.. A lazy Sunday afternoon can be well spent here..

The best place I had food at after returning back to Bangalore. The mutton pulao was heavenly. Right amount of spices, delicious mutton, not too dry. Drums of heaven was different but good. Chicken salad had more sauce than usual but still won't rate it bad. Veg stroganoff was not bad either. I have eaten better stroganoff in this neighborhood . French fries, vegetable cutlet - all of them were freshly prepared. The mint chutney with the vegetable cutlet was yummy. Still waiting for sizzler. But food till now is amazing. It's a friendly neighborhood place where you can hang out with friends for hours. served by a single smiling man patiently listening n serving u....5 star for him.
Ambience is not fancy but I like these kind of places. Playing 70-80's

Value for money small business that should be promoted.

Now, JukeBox is a casual, old school place when it comes to ambience, food and the service.. It is very 90s like.. I like to go there if I like having conversations over food and beer. (Usual, kingfisher premium..Albeit, I'm rarely a beer drinker!)
The menu is quite simple. They have Indian starters, curries and rice. Little bit of Chinese and Italian.. And steaks thrown in here and there.
Now, the main highlight is the steak.. Best is JB chicken steak! Totally worth it piece of meal!
The sauce made me crave for some more of it.
The chicken American Chopsuey was delectable. Was cooked well.
Overall, a nice place to sit, eat and talk for hours if you will, as nobody seems to bother you, including the soft rock music that they play. And in the end you're handed a quiet light bill.
What more you can ask for?!

I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with my friends. The moment you enter Juke Box, you feel like you have gone back in time with the awesome old 70's 80's rock n roll songs playing and the walls having pictures of famous artists of that era like Johnny Cash, Elvis etc and different old music instrument as decorative. The Service is bit slow but its ok , the food was really tasty, simply loved it .We had chilled beer that went very nice with Chicken Stroganoff , Spaghetti with Chicken white sauce, Kerela Paratha , Chicken Mughlai and Fish Masala. The Fish Masala was a killer, the fish was very tender. The Staff are very good, courteous and polite and served us very well.

Good joint for beer and nice food. You get to hear good old English country music here. You can go with family as ambience is good. I love to eat J B Fish with mustard sauce, chicken lasagne and Chicken Cordon Bleu sizzlers. I have come with my teams very often.

A small Bawa joint where I visit mostly for a quick beer and my parsi salli boti & dhansak. You can also play your own music as the name suggests! My visit to Banglore is never complete without a pit stop

PS in the evening you can strike a decent conversation with the Bawa owner

Over the year this place has lost its charm as well as the taste. This place once use to be our favorite with a pitcher and Chicken lasagna.
Although still lasagna is the same, the youth crowd is missing these days, staff response I felt less energetic and prompt. Music is not so loud they use to be before. Still we chooses the corner seat as always.
Chicken lasagna is a must to try dish of this place which is a lot different than other places.

We were here for dinner over a week ago on a weeknight. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the lemon butter fish, beef stroganoff and mashed potatoes. The fish was not fresh and too lemony with no other flavour. The mashed potatoes had no taste or flavour. The beef stroganoff was decent compared to the other dishes but nothing great.
The staff was warm and friendly though. Hope the quality improves at the earliest.

Very old Bangalore feel and some nice rock music - this is the best part about Jukebox. Fish and chips is a good to have dish. As are cheese balls. Both go well with the beer they serve. Chicken sizzlers are nice too, but not spectacular. I'd have liked the place to be a little more lively and have more choice of beverage. The service is good and the toilet clean.

One of the best places for Sizzlers! They serve it with Kingfisher Draught Beer. The combo goes really well. The service is really quick. The place has a very retro theme with nice country music playlist. Had a great time here and will surely visit it again. Thank you guys!

Juke Box is supposed to be a legendary restaurant around Koramangala. They serve very good food with beer. I love the music. Sometimes its great to dine out and listen to all the classics. I enjoyed their Babycorn Pepper and Gobi manchurian. Food service is little slow. But overall its a good place

This is my go to place to Chuck the hassles of the city and for my nirvana .
I love the music they play.
There is nothing a pint of beer can't cure .
I have been here for a over an year and it still strikes to me as one of the most peaceful places around .
A cold beer , good classical music and a rusty decor is bliss !

Music is in the air, on their walls and in the sizzlers that they are known for. They serve awesome sizzlers, the sound that make when served is music for your ears and celebration for other senses, the smell and the taste. They have a wide range of cuisine to choose from and the taste is average to above average. The service is a bit laid-back but at the same time friendly.

I have twice walked out of this place as they do not serve anything but beer in liquor section. Finally one day, we went for casual dining. The food tasted really good. Was quite impressed with it. Though the service was a bit slow.
Overall, a nice experience.

Not bad. Decided to try out the place after hearing alot and alot of recommendation. To be honest it was a turn off and didn't turn out as expected. Flop music. Nice beer. Ok food. Hope for a change in opinion the next time I visit.

JukeBox used to be a very lively place in Koramangala 7th Block, but has lost its charm with time. It's one of those places which you can visit with an old buddy, order couple of beers and discuss "girlfriend problems" for hours. The fairly good food and classic rock tunes compliment each other really good.

If you are in a mood to spend a lazy evening in a care-free kinda place, this could be for you. But please do not drink & drive.

Get to enjoy good Italian food whilst I listen to 70s music n hang out with friends :)..all time favorites..juke box chicken steak, shepherds pie n cream of chicken soup...:)

Nice small place with a jazzy ambience. Tried the beef paprika dish here (a red sauce preparation served with rice) and was not disappointed.

Frozen in time for good! This casual dinner puts in quiet a show... Known for its sizzlers, I happened to try their beef steak and fish and chips. Both were really good! The sides which comes along with the food can improve but the core of the food is delicious.
What I liked more about this place is the casual ambience. When you enter you knows its been there for a while... And you are glad its stayed that way. From songs to chairs to cutlery. It has its own charm. Go for jukebox

food was great. got to know they are 23 year old pub. one of the first to have come in koramangala. If they could set up AC.. it would be great.

I'll confess to having walked out of this place earlier, assuming they are medieval. I was wrong. Casual dining doesn't get better than this. The food items were delicious too. Ideal for hang outs.

One of the understaed place.
Love the music they play. One of the oldest place to hang out in Bangalore.
If you have financial crisis and still want to chill out, try this place.
Amazing starters and sizzlers.
All their steaks are pretty good.
Average! Limited menu. Small servings. Old school. Nothing really to look forward to the next visit. Immense scope of improvement. Quick service.

Jukebox is now Jokebox. Avoidable.

We have been regular customers of this restaurant for as long as I can remember. The food and ambience used to be very nice. The chicken tikka masala, lasagne and the sizzlers were really good and we often used to order these. Of late the quality has gone down considerably. Went there a few weeks ago and again today. In the last visit we ordered sizzlers which turned out to be poorly prepared with hardly any vegetables. The sizzle wasn't there at all. It looked like a piece of meat, warmed and served on the sizzler plate.

Thinking that everyone deserves another chance, I went there again today for a takeaway. Ended up ordering the Chicken Masala (I wanted the Chicken tikka masala) as the tandoor was no longer there. When the box arrived, I noticed there was hardly any portion. It covered only a third of the box as before. I pointed this out and was told that the this is the quantity it usually comes in. Rs 243 for this less? I pointed out that I was a regular there and also that of the 500+ restaurants in Koramangala, I could have gone anywhere. I also pointed out that this attitude is what is keeping customers away - there were only 3 tables occupied on a Friday evening. Anyway, he grumbled and took back my box and filled in with a little more gravy. When I reached home and started serving for my dad and myself I was even more outraged - there was hardly any chicken pieces and if they were there, they were so tiny that they couldn't be noticed at all. Even if an ant was eating a piece of the chicken, it would fill half its stomach. Additionally, there were two big tomato pieces! Really?!

Jukebox, an iconic place for its ambience, food and music is now a Jokebox.....
